A bratty shinigami... and one that looked to be a NEET, at that. Great. That was just what he needed for the day. A bratty neet, hollows spilling out all over the place... It was going to be a long day and a bitch of a report that he woould have to write, later... He wondered if he could find someone to grab a beer with him, after work, though the odds of that were slim. Majority of the stafff preferred to keep working long into the night. Not that he hadn't, prior to his illness...
"Well, and thankfully, contrary to your belief, we're not content to simply watch this kind of thing happening. You'll have to forgive me for having to take a bloody elevator." He cracked his neck, mentally preparing himself for "work". "I guess the question is how best to proceed from here..." He tapped his chin. There were a lot of hollows... a lot of ways he could do this...though he didn't know which he wanted to do quite yet.
That was when he felt it: the surge of energy, the air suddenly getting inexplicably colder... And as he looked in the direction of the park, he saw the chapel like construct begin to grow and immediately he sensed the energy. Quinciy. Strong. Near the center of the park... Worse still, given the construct and the cold, there was only one group that was capable of something like this and his heart sank. As usual, the Vandenreich was coming to take advantage of a disadvantageous situation. They were stepping up their game, as it were.
He looked down at the cross that hung around his neck, the one he'd taken from his brother. It no longer emitted the energy of a quincy, no longer thrummed with the same feeling of gathering reiatsu, as it once did, but it felt right. The thing that he and his brother used to fight over... It was so strange to think how far they'd drifted and he allowed himself the seconds to ponder how life would have been different if his mother or father had just made him a quincy, like them.
Then he pulled himself back to reality. After all, there were still hollows everywhere, other spiritual signatures fighting and now the damn Vandenreich. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, pulling off his tie. This was one of those near worst case scenarios that he was always preparing for.
"Alright. Alright. I'm going to take care of this, just stay out of the way." Raphael held out his palm, energy crackling and sparking along it as a small, condensed, marble like sphere of energy formed. Then he flicked it, sending it flying into the air before it suddenly expanded, then it transformed, two long necks growing from the orb. Then it grew a pair of arms, then legs and finally a pair of wings grew out of it, and the creature landed on the ground, with a thud.
Claws flexed, as it tested its strength, gouging the road; then it flapped its wings, once, kicking up the wind. The two heads snapped at each other, before Raphael hopped onto its back, standing at the joint between the two heads. Both looked back at him and he pointed at the large hollow.
The wind picked up as the dragon flew at the creature, one head biting into it and holding it still, while the other simply breathed a purple llflire, as it slowly came undone from the power of the fire, before it flew towards the park. He wanted to see hw it was before anything else.
