Oh what a day to be a day. It was Thanks Giving, a time to be with friends and family alike, a time to eat good food and be grateful for all the things you have. In Japan, they have a similar holiday known as Kinro Kansha no Hi, a day to celebrate the hard working men and women in the country. This, had nothing to do with that, as many giant turkeys could be seen wandering around the streets of Karakura, by those who had the gift for it.
They were silly looking things, each of them five feet in height, and were almost as wide as they were tall. They had brown feathers like your average turkey, but with pure white feathers on their underbellies. Knife-like talons tipped their toes, and a silly hollow mask, designed to make them look more intimidating than they actually were. There were dozens of them wandering about Karakura, gobbling noises numerous enough to drown out the sounds of traffic and city life.
The problem was that these things were creating hazards to the regular people of Karakura, aside from the few that decided to make a meal out of random people. Humans would bump into one, or vise versa, knocking them over, preventing doors from being opened as they stood in doorways, or getting struck by oncoming traffic, destroying cars, causing accidents, and being flung into other cars or buildings alike a cannonball. Not that this injured the turkey hollows, as their feathers were hard as steel on the outside, while being fluffy enough on the inside to cushion them from the damage.
To any Shinigami, they would get a red-alert to start exterminating these hollows, while any of those naturally dwelling in the human world would see the chaos being caused and would likely want to put a stop to it, before people started lashing out at the invisible birds. Hollows themselves would be called, as there was a buffet of easy prey to feast upon.
Ooc: To any character who joins, they will get 250 for every five paragraphs done, up to four times. These hollows are class 8, and can be counted for consumption bonuses ten times. This thread will be up for two days, and will be graded on 11/26/23, and no posts made on that day will count. Happy hunting!
