It was only after realizing that he could not move, after the flash of light that he got a decent look around. He one familiar face, the shinigami that he kept running into. Jak had to laugh at that. "Well it seems we keep running into each other don't we shinigami?" He asked with a half friendly smile on his face. He looked around and didn't recognize any of the other beings around here. He did note that his shinigami friend was on edge.
Then there was the big animal man. It seemed like he would be a fun one to fight. He saw how he was standing, and judging from what he said, "More you then me. Not enough to kill." He was pretty hostile. "Hey fuzzy, save that aggression until we find who is responsible for this. Great that was just one more thing that Jak needed to worry about. First whoever, or whatever, was doing this, and the lump or fur and muscles.
As he watched the others enter the building he got ready, he was waiting for something to happen, but nothing. He wasn't happy about this at all so many beings in here with spirtual power and from what he could tell two of them were shingami, that meant at the very least he already had two foes to deal with no matter how this would play out. This whole situation was making him uncomfortable fighting in this place wouldn't be beneficial to him at all. After seeing all the people that gathered here he decided to leave or at least try to leave.
As he took a step towards the exit a bright red light wrapped around him, he would have been blinded if it wasn't for his sunglasses. As the light faded he noticed that he was now surrounded on all sides by the rest of the people who were in the building. He quickly tried to dash back away from the group but he wasn't able to move at all. Silently he looked at everyone around him, there were a few people he knew and others that he didn't. Some of them spoke out and others didn't, he was a bit relived to see that one of the shingami was someone he had met before. He hoped that it meant he had one less ally and at the same time he saw that thing. It was a large beast with a very loud mouth and a foul odor coming from the beast.
He didn't want to waste time talking with anyone right now he was more interested in the fact that he couldn't move and that someone or something laid a trap down form them all. Annoying... this was fucking annoying, but I wonder what I can do. From his position he tried to push out his spiritual pressure to see if it would cause any stress on anyone. Even if it wouldn't it would still get the reaction from others to look at him as they felt the pressure coming from him, but it didn't work. What ever was holding them in place was strong enough to keep him from trying to crush everyone else around him. Finally after everyone else stopped talking he spoke. “Enough... why are you all here?” Vannan still had his cloak on him, yet his eyes looked at everyone around him wondering why they had all been gathered here, he knew why he was, but what was the reason for the rest of them?
As the characters exchanged pleasantries... err... Threats, an ominous cloud of darkness began to filter from the floor. It was almost like a pitch black fog, and carried with it, the same dark energy they had been sensing all along. Finally, as the last member spoke, something answered. "You are here... Because I called you here." This would startle the participants. No one was expecting this deep evil voice to appear from nowhere. It was honestly very disconcerting. The voice continued, "You see, my children are awfully hungry, and all they've had to eat recently are the damned souls of this town..." An evil chuckle rang out around the room, seemingly coming from all sides of the theater. "This seems like a meal with a good enough variety... Lot's of choices for them to choose from."
With this, the red binding circle will vanish. Those with sufficient enrgy sensory will notice that the energy has changed, instead of coming from the ceter of the room, it instead clongs to the floors and walls of the building, as well as an energy of immense power radiating from deep within the basement of the theater. This is a survival game, regardless of previous engagements, it is in the best interest of the characters to work together, whether they do so or not? That's up to them. A few minutes after the voice fades away... The waves start. 20 zombies will rise from the fog of the theater. Class 7, however, for some reason gravitational pressure doesn't work against them, nor does the cutback effect.
For this wave, all reitsu based techniques are lost. No releases, and quincy's can only use the initial bow and only up to class 6 arrows. No physical techniqes above class 5 can be used either. However, step techniques CAN be used, as well as any items the characters have on hand. Within moments, of the zombies rising, they will begin to stumbling at theirr maximum speed towards the characters, they are spread out equally surrounding the circle, around 15 yards away. The wave begins... NOW.
As the voice faded, and the zombies began stumbling towards the group, Arashi scoffed. He was a kidou specialist, he would take care of these pesky creatures no problem. With this thought firmly in mind, Arashi began chanting. "Oh raging god of disaster and storms, incarnation of destruction and herald of lightning! Arise before this one who has summoned you, come forth and wreak devastation upon our enemies!" At this point in the incantzation, the zombies were within ten yards of Arashi. Not faltering despite the oncoming threat, Arashi continued.
"Cracked sky, scorched air, calamitous noise! Let these things become your image! Burn them into the immortal souls all beings who witness your power! Bring forth your fury and anger, the power of the lord of the skies! Strike down all who oppose us, deliver them unto their heathen gods!" Chanting the final words of the incantation with a calm, powerful air, despite the zombies being only 10 yards away, Arashi released the overpowering kidou. Energy built up around his hands, a massive amount of power. This was one of the strongest hado in the soul society period.
Just as the blast would have obliterated the zombies, and most of the theater, it suddenly stopped. Arashi's eyes widened as the technique shattered before his eyes, and then, traveled up his own body. Before disintgrating him from the inside out. Leaving nothing but ashes for the others in his party to look at. Arashi was dead, incinerated from the inside out by his own technique. Before he turned to ashes, Arashi could only think one word in his utter surprise in his reversal of fortunes. "What??"
After Arashi disintegrated, the zombies paused for a moment, and the voice came back. "Ta, ta little man." it chuckled darkly, "I can't have you decimating my children so easily can I?" The zombies continued forward towards the center fo the room where all of the characters stood... Unless they had moved in this time. "Maybe I'll let you have your little powers back at some point... But as long as you are in my house... I MAKE THE RULES"

"WAIT!" He yelled out to the disembodied voice. "What're they choosing from?! I haven't had anything to eat all day, give me some!" The voice responded by releasing the from the temporary paralysis, causing Kaze promptly fell to the floor on his back. "Ow...." The mod soul whined as he rubbed the back of his head from the unexpected pain. Quickly getting back up, he looked around, trying to find out what was going on. He was still confused as to what was on what was going.
And found that there was a bunch of moaning dudes approaching the group. "Wow." He said to himself. "This guy has a bunch of ugly kids." He commented under his breath in slight awe, ignoring how the shinigami he fought before started chanting something. 'Probably something stupid' He thought. The voice had so many tries, and the results were dead lookin dudes. "ALL YOUR KIDS ARE REALLY UGLY!" He yelled at the ceiling.
Then the man standing behind him exploded into dust. He stared at the dust pile for a few moments. He looked back towards the ceiling. "Can you do that to the other shinigami too? Please?" He asked. "PLEASE!?" He pleaded, pointing to Aevus, outstretched arm shaking. The zombies were getting closer. "I MAKE THE RULES!" Kaze's eye started twitching. "WHAT! RULES!?" The mod soul was starting to lose his head over the all that was happening. The zombies were within ten feet of him, and probably the others.
Rushing over to one of the undead, he decided to take his frustrations out on one of the zombies. Running at his full speed towards the creature, he jumped forward, twisting in the air as he planted both of his feet into the face of the zombie. Knocking the zombie to the ground. As the two fell to the ground, Kaze fell on his side, while the zombie fell to its back, whipping its head on the ground, and cracking its skull in the process. Getting up as fast as he could, he jumped over to the corpse, and landed on its face. "DIE YOU ROTTING MEAT SACK!" His tone shifted into a growl, as he stomped the zombie's head in.
Words words words all these creatures did was make noise. Qaletaqa stood unable to move and growing more frustrated as time passed. He was a beast and movement being stripped away from him was no different then being locked away in a cage. He began to growl loudly and look around as he struggled to try and break free from whatever was preventing him from moving. When the fog began to seep into the large room Qaletaqa roared in anger at the fact he couldn't break free and then realized the fog was there.
He stopped moving and starred at it and then at the two furless creatures that wore black. The fog was the same color as their clothing maybe they were causing it. He did look around at the others yet saw no one worth a second glance. That was when the loud voice began to speak and Qaletaqa just stood there trying to make out what he was saying unsuccessfully. He couldn't understand what the voice was saying and all that it was causing was further frustration in the beast.
When he could finally move Qaletaqa looked down at his legs for a moment and raised his leg. He then grinned widely at the fact he was free again and started to look over the Shinigami. The both of them were right here in front of them and while the other people were here too Qaletaqa couldn't tell if they were working with these furless. That was when he saw the bodies rising up from the ground and roared loudly like a lion out at them. He then saw light coming from one of the Shinigami and watched as the Shinigami was reduced to ash. The reaction wasn't one that any of the others would likely expect.
"Ahahaha!" Qaletaqa fell to the ground laughing as the zombies began to rush towards them. He slowly rose up to a crouching position on all four paws. He saw five of the zombies rushing right towards him and decided it would be fun to take out these slow pests. Rushing forwards at about 350 speed Qaletaqa attempted to grab hold of two zombies by their throats. He would then pick them up off the ground and smash them against the ground likely crushing their heads. He then spun around as fast as he could extending his tail making sure that it would thwack the other three enclosing around him in their heads and crush their necks.
Vannan's expression changed, he was annoyed now, what ever had called them here was trying to feed them to something. Could it be a stronger hollow trying to feed other ones? If that was the case then he would just wipe them all out with his arrows with ease. As the voice stopped speaking the bindings released them all, a smirk formed on his face as he stepped back trying to form a bow in his hand's but was unable to. That's when he saw what was coming after them.
Zombies..... “Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me fucking zombies AGAIN!!!” This wasn't the first time he had to deal with zombies and after the last time he was sick and tired of having to see them. Before he could act a shingami tried to cast out a kido spell, but it too was useless as it didn't properly cast. The voice then called out saying that their powers would be sealed for now, which meant he couldn't use his arrows, but that didn't matter he had something better to use against the zombies.
From what he could sense these things were weak so he wondered what would happen if he flexed his pressure a bit. There was only one way to answer that, he flexed his gravitational pressure all around him filling the room entirely. He didn't really care what would happen to the others around him and the moment he did it he saw the large man like animal fall down right before the zombies from what Vannan could tell the thing was about to grab at their throats, however those things didn't even budge they simply continued forward. Looking over he saw that the other non zombies felt it, but weren't forced down like that large beast. As much as he would of loved to see that thing get ripped limb from limb by the zombies so it wouldn't be so loud and annoying at the moment he didn't want to lose a potential meat shield for later on.
Pulling out the guns he had on him he aimed at the zombies that were over the beast, without saying anything he took aim and fired at their heads. One bullet was all it took for it to rip through a zombie's head and kill it. Each time he shot out a bullet a loud bang filled the theater and another zombie fell to the ground. It didn't take long to take care of the five that were near the animal, as well as another five that were moving towards him. “All of you, destroy their heads, don't bother trying to hit anything else save you're energy and make each hit count.” Vannan had lived through a zombie apocalypse once before and he wasn't going to let what he learned there go to waste. Taking a deep breath in he drew in some more reiatsu while reloading his guns, all the while he kept his gravitational pressure on without thinking about it.
(OOC: -10 bullets remaining reiatsu 2600/2000 +300 from quincy cross)

When the voice told them that they would be being fed to his children, Jak rolled his eyes. That could either mean one or two things. They would be fighting some kind of created abomination, or some sort of demon children would start attacking them. He sort of hoped that it would have been the later just so he could see what would come of that. The binding spell was released and the fog rolled in. Jak was smiling a little partly in anticipation of a fight, and hope to see some weird looking demon children.
His smile faded slightly when it was zombies. Zombies really, that is the single most unoriginal thing to summon. Well Jak was in no position to refuse the fight. One of the Shinigami tried using kido and ended up getting disintegrated. Jak didn't know if he should laugh, or face palm. Then the voice came back basically saying that any energy attacks were out of the question. "Well that was a thing." He said more to himself.
One of the other's decided to try and use their gravitational pressure against the zombies. The large beast man fell to the ground mid attack leaving him vulnerable to his pack of zombies. The zombies on he other hand were completely unaffected. Well that just means there is only one way of subduing them caving in their skulls. The same one pulled out a gun and started shooting the zombies in the head one by one. The loud bang of the gun echoing through the abandoned halls.
Jak leap high into the air landing among his group of zombies. While he was in he air, he extended the chain sword that was attached to this left arm, as well as unwrapping the chains on his right arm. The sword on his left arm extended into his chain form once he landed. Jak swung both his arms around wildly slicing and crushing the zombies bodies. Once he was done and his sword retracted to it's normal blade form, the zombies fell dead some were decapitated, and some's head looked like they exploded.
The members of the party tore throught the zombies like a hot knife through butter. unfortunately, the metaphorical 'shit' hit the also metaphorical 'fan' rather quickly. Vannan, not knowing that the zombies, who were connecting to their progenitor, who was far more powerful than Vannan, would not be affected by his gravitational pressure. The ill thought move also turned out badly for Qaletaqa. Being forcefully punched into the ground in the middle of his attack on the zombies, the 4th zombie he attacked in his rampage went for him immediately, the bone sticking from his fingers leaving a rather nasty gash on his chest.
Note: Zombie passive ability. Scratches, bites, and any other injuries inflicted by the zombies will cause a necrosis type affect on the character it hits. Due to their powerful spirits, they will not be tunred, but the pain is excruciating, and the worse the wound, the worse the pain. Roughly, whatever the wound was, it feels like it is being branded as well as cut, this is the spirit fighting off the zombie virus. This bypasses Poison Resist completely, and Strength of Will/Pain Tolerance can only mitigate this slightly. Roughly 10% for every point in one of these skills.
If nothing was done about it, things would turn from bad to worse for the beast man, as the zombie would continue to claw and bite at his body, turning a bad gash, to a gaping wound. The zombie attacking qalateqa is the last zombie of the wave, and after it is defeated, the next wave begins in 3 minutes, giving the characters a few moments to collaborate and perhaps make a plan. Hopefully, they would take this break to make a unified front, because while this wave wasn't to bad... It was the first of many.
At the end of every wave, the body count for each character is added up, and they are awarded 1 QP for every kill. This use is simple, this is what allows you to use reitsu based techniques and the like.
Class 8: 3 QP Class 7: 7 QP Class 6: 12 QP Class 5: 15 QP Class 4: 18 QP Class 3: 25 QP Class 2: 35 QP Class 1: 50 QP

Aevus was frozen, his fingers rattled over his sheathed Zanpakuto. He couldn’t believe what he had just seen and yet it still happened nonetheless. He was standing in disbelief and he couldn’t begin to fathom this happening to a vice captain of all people. They were trained to deal with problems like this, they wern’t supposed to up a disappear in a cloud of ashe like mere fodder. This was the first time he has seen a fellow Shinigami die in front of him.
Though he knew death was a risk upon becoming a reaper, he still couldn't believe it would happen to someone like him. It wasn’t because he died but because how quickly he disintegrated leaving him helpless. There was no way to aid the man or even protect him from such a fate, it was just happened way to fast. The others around him seemed to be acting upon their instinctual impulses and began to deal with the undead menace as they cornered the group.
Aevus would blankly stare with wide open and tired blue eyes as the group dealt with the undead horde. Everyone of them were fighting except for him and thus in those moments he was the weak link in the chain. His Zanpakuto still rattled in his hands as he stared foreword. That foreboding voice still ringing within his very eardrums followed by the look of shock on his superiors face when he died. It was utter insanity throwing the usually calm reaper to complete wild fright.
As the horde was slaughtered he would remain still as a carcass in a storm, unmoving even as the ravaging monsters attacked. Though he was still throughout the entire exchange he would move on mere instinct as the undead monster attacked the beast. A single swift step, his blade unsheathed to decapitate the creature in a single slash from behind. He moved without even thinking, his deep blue eyes still voided from all emotion. They were no longer full of fright and confusion but instead focus. A focus that loomed over him to protect, to be a guardian of those in need.

After his little blood rage ended, Kaze began to calm down, wiping his face to try and calm down. Deciding to take a seat, he used the body as a chair. He was starting to get annoyed. First he swings by a empty town, then he gets stuck in this dirty building, now he's killing some guy's children for said guys entertainment. "Talk about bad parenting." He said under his breath. He liked fighting. Really he did, but killing was something he didn't like doing. He wouldn't bat an eye if he had to, thanks to those stupid shinigami, but if it wasn't for this crazy guy, he would still be outside. NOT killing things like a... puppet...
His rage started to act up again. He was being used again. Used like a lab rat, seeing how he would react, how he would survive. He hated-loathed to be used, to be forced into doing things against his will. His anger was threatening to take over again. "I'm gonna kill him..." He said under his breath, holding his head like a patient at a mental hospital. If it weren't for the fact that he might get incinerated, he'd use his armor and start hacking away at the walls right now. But he'd wait. If nothing, years of living in a lab gave him some patience. He'd bide his time. Then he'd kill him.
(Ooc: Sorry, best I've got with no one to talk to)
Moving through the group of strange creatures Qaletaqa continued to bash their skulls to mush. The first two creatures that he had grabbed had been dispatched easily right from the start. Using his weight along with his superior strength Qaletaqa had been successful in slamming their heads into the ground causing them to rupture. After that he had spun around lashing outwards with his tail smacking into the other creatures around him. Rushing them he continued to take down the following two only to then feel one of the creatures claw a small part of his chest open. It hurt and immediately Qaletaqa pushed the creature backwards with his paw only to then see the dark haired furless cut the head off the creature with his sword.
It was after that occurred that Qaletaqa starred the furless in the eyes and stepped forwards only stopping when his chest was right in front of the man's face. Qaletaqa looked down on him with an expression that might be difficult to understand due to his face however it was a sneer none the less. Qaletaqa didn't like the man simply for being one of the furless that dress in black, but now he had seen he was a coward with shaking hands who attacks from behind. "Baby Pup . . run away . before he wet himself." Qaletaqa turned around and began to pace around the area looking over the bodies of the creatures.
It wasn't until about a minute passed that he felt the burning on his chest. He looked down and saw the blood flowing from the wound and how it was getting all in his fur. He sneered at the fact rubbing his right paw over the wound. It hurt and there wasn't anything that he could do right now to keep it from hurting. He saw one of the bodies on the ground and stomped on it's chest rupturing it as he growled at the corpse. "All these. . furless be cowards." Qaletaqa looked over the small group and saw that only one out of them seemed to fight with his body. The only was using another weapon that from what Qaletaqa could tell was used for distance. He spat on the corpse as he waited for more of the creatures to come.
With the wave of zombies now dealt with Vannan looked over at the others. It seemed like most of them were useless without their powers, truth be told if it wasn't for his guns he would have been in the same boat as the rest of them, but for now he was lucky enough to have them and plenty of ammo to use to take down the zombies. Reloading his gun he looked over to see from where he could take the high ground to make the most of the situation. There was a balcony that seemed to offer just what he was looking for, but leaving the group also meant a higher chance for a sneak attack. Either way it seemed like the group wasn't organized at all, if they didn't pull together they might end up getting killed by the zombies, but he had a way out if things got bad.
Either way Vannan distanced himself from the group choosing to step forward and be in front of them with both guns up and fully loaded. If more were coming he would take them down before they could get too far, Vannan was done playing games, he was done dealing with stupid shit like zombies left and right on a daily basis as if it was common. Honestly he just wanted a normal life back, to be able to go to work and mess around not caring if he got in trouble or worrying about killing someone before he was killed.
Jak let out a sigh as the last of his zombies fell to pieces. He looked around really quick to be sure that no one was too seriously wounded. He saw that the beast man had a pretty large cut on his chest, but by the way he was moving and acting it wasn't bothering him too much, nor was it life threatening. Jak looked over at the Shinigami that he was familiar with, and could tell that he was pretty shaken up. Jak knew that it wasn't from the zombies. He pieced together that it must have been when the other one disintegrated.
Jak went to him and put his left hand on his shoulder with a comforting smile. "Come on man, I know that we have taken on beings stronger than these scrubs. Plus I think we need all the cooperation we can get if we want to remain alive to fight another day. I don't think that these pathetic things are going to be the only things we will be fighting." Jak looked at the others trying to figure out who he could try to convince to work with them.

The group of unlikely allies would have a few more moments to collaborate together before the voice spoke again.
IT SEEMS MY CHILDREN WERE WEAKER THAN I SUSPECTED. YOU MAY HAVE DESTROYED MY YOUNGEST, BUT HOW WILL YOU REACT TO MY OLDER CREATIONS? I FIND THEY HAVE A BIT MORE... BITE... TO THEM. MWAHAHAHAHAH! With that, the voice faded away, and an omnous silence filled the room. suddenly, a piercing howl filled the room. AROOO!!!! From the rafters, 5 wolves could be seen falling down. Behind them, one could see ten more lying in wait. Their claws dripped with an ominous liquid, and their eyes gleamed with a hunger, almost borderlione lust. They seemed to have a special interest in the Beast Man of the group, glaring at him with an animalistic hatred. Regardless, the wolves would circle the group, before singling out the one they saw as the weakest. Aevus. The smallest human had stayed frozen during the entire earlier exchange, until the very end.
Three wolves leapt at Aevus, whilst another 7 attempted to interpose themselves between him and the rest of the group. The remaining wolves were in the rafters, watching hungrily for an oportunity to strike at any vulnerable person. These wolves are tall standing straight they would be over seven feet tall, but mostly they crouched, restricting their height to just over 6 feet. They had thick, matted grey fur, and long yellow claws. Their teeth were yellowed, but long, and very, very sharp. The wolves had glowing, frightening yellow eyes. They were also bipedal for the most part, although some walked on four legs occasionally. With muscled chests and armed, a slim wiry legs, these were the picture of the terrifying wolfman.
