Meeting a Rogue - PvP 550 TP rewarded to Garret. Converting 50 TP into CTP, giving Garret 500 CTP and Class 6 as well. Converting the remaining 500 TP into SP, therefore 250 SP plus the 20 given for Class 6, meaning Garret now has 700 SP.
Here There Be Hollows (R | JT | NDE) -Earned 230 TP. Converting 150 TP into 75 SP, giving Garret 1100 SP. Remaining TP, 80, converted into TTP so new value is 235.
Technique Description and Effects: Osen is not a technique is the technical sense. The ability called Osen is, for all intents and purposes, a curse. Garret did not train to acquire Osen, he did not intentionally create it either. Osen is the result of Hollow blood and reiatsu mixing in with his own, creating a permanent taint that permeates from Garrets own reiatsu. Osen is best describes as a power that gives ones reiatsu the characteristics similar to Hollow Bait. What this means is that when Osen activates, Garrets own reiatsu becomes something like Hollow Bait, drawing in every single Hollow in his immediate area and, if strong enough, from Hueco Mundo itself. This is not a power that Garret can activate of his own accord, needing environmental stimuli for it to activate. As Garret increases in power (Class up or Ranking up) so to does the power of this curse. At higher classes Garret will be bringing in more and more Hollows, stronger variations, and at his peak it is possible to attract the Vastro Lordes. Arrancar are far more rare though, as what they call humanity allows them to resist the Osen if they so choose. There is another aspect to this Osen, however. If Garret remains in the same area for more than one night then his Osen creates a sort of around that area. The Curse will get stronger, attracting more and more Hollows each night to that location. It is for this reason Garret travels, as he cannot remain in one spot for too long.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Osen only activates at night, turning Garret into living Hollow Bait and bringing the creatures straight to him. It's not currently known why it is Osen only activates at night, but ceases immediately once day breaks. Some at Squad 12 have a theory that it's solar energy that keeps Garrents taint from exposing him to Hollows, and that the lack of sunlight is what activates it. Though they cannot explain why, even when Garret is in a building, the ability still does not activate during the day.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) This technique is uncontrollable. Garret cannot turn it off. Each night he must fight Hollows from dusk till dawn. As Garrets increases in Class, so to does the effects of Osen. This means that the higher class he is, the numbers and strength levels of the Hollows will begin to increase as well.
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the bases of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move; those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower, which requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become winded far easier in a shorter amount of time. A single step magnifies speed for that step by 10 times. Uses 50 Reiatsu per step. This one is automatically learned in the academy. ALL shinigami know this when created. This technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique:
A focus of reishi around the feet area, and then launching off into a single step which blurs, not unlike teleportation in appearance, except it is simply extremely fast movement. Often used to gain an edge in a single moment of combat, or to dodge incoming attacks.
{Advanced Air Ground | Mastered} Technique Name: Advanced Air Ground
Class: 7
Technique Type: Spiritual Technique
Technique Description and Effects: This is a technique designed especially for breakdancing and parkour, utilizing a more advanced version of air ground. While in a terrain where air ground exists, the user can create more complex surfaces like air walls, air ceilings, air ledges and even an air push. This allows the user to perform handstands and windmills on air as if it were normal ground or even stand upside-down on air as if gravity was reversed. The air push makes the air ground very elastic so that the user can jump higher and allows for slight movement even when restrained by a bakudou.
For a reiatsu cost of 25, the user will be able to momentarily cast an "air ground" on areas such as soul society and heuco mundo, allowing the user to "double jump" or cast shunpo in midair. If this technique is mastered, the user will be able to create air grounds that last for as long as a post. This can be used in creative ways to improve acrobatics and visual impressiveness.
{Shunpo Karin | Mastered} Technique Name: [Shunpo Karin]
Class: [5]
Technique Type: [Kido]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
The famous "partial Shunpo" technique. This allows the user to initiate a single movement at Shunpo speed with one limb. This cannot be used without initiating the forward momentum. The user will need to move their arm the way they normally would before this technique can be activated. Momentum for this technique cannot be controlled. This means once the user initiates this technique, they cannot stop their limb from the movement.
How to use technique:
Stated above.
Drawback:
Also stated above. Higher reiatsu cost than normal Shunpo. Limit is once per post. More stamina taxing than regular Shunpo.
The "exploding shunpo" technique, this allows the user, for three times the normal shunpo cost, to initiate a shunpo. This shunpo releases far more power, and therefore anywhere within a meter of the user will be hit with an explosive shockwave equivalent to the user's physical strength when the shunpo is used.
How to use technique:
Stated above.
Drawback:
Stamina drain. Reiatsu cost. Can only be used twice per post.
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Vita Sollertia
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Rogues
Technique Element: Fire
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): This technique is one of the most directly offensive Vita Sollertia. The soul has incredibly potent energy in it, and the usage of Life Force techniques allows someone to tap directly into that energy. This specific one converts the a Rogues Life Force into a burning force that surrounds either the Rogue’s hand, or weapon (which can be any object that the Rogue picks up, it doesn't need to be a specifically spiritual weapon). The burning force doesn’t produce light, although its strange reiatsu is detectable via 100 Energy Sensory, and the heat it creates doesn’t extend far off the affected area. However, Soul Burn produces incredible amounts of heat that only effects organic matter.
A single touch of a hand that is utilizing Soul Burn can cause degree burns the instant of contact, which suffice it to say, makes this technique horrifying in usage. This technique can be used at any class as low as five and as high as two. Class 5 usage causes first degree burns upon contact, and second degree burns upon repeated contact or extended contact. Class 4 does the same, but of course beats more things in clash. Class 3 usage allows for the creation of second degree burns on contact, and three degree burns through extended or repeated contact. The Class 2 version causes instantaneous third degree burns, and fourth degree burns (burns that penetrate the muscles) upon extended or repeated contact.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Focus on the body part or weapon you want to use in conjunction with the technique, and expend the necessary Life Force.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) This technique costs 100 Life Force for each class of it (Class 5 is 100, Class 4 is 200, etc) per post. It also causes subtle muscle damage to whichever arm is holding the weapon that the technique is being used on, or whichever arm is using the technique. This muscle damage means that using this technique for more than four posts per thread will render that arm useless.

{Vita Sollertia: Echo | Mastered} Technique Name: Vita Sollertia: Echo
Class: 5
Technique Type: Vita Sollertia
Usable By: Rogues
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: A bat is nearly blind, so in order to see it sends out a pulse. This pulse of sound strikes objects, returning to the bat and giving it a understanding of its surroundings. This is similar to the Vita Sollertia technique, Echo. Rather than seeing ones surroundings, this technique is used to determine Life. By sending out the hunger of the Bakkoto, the Echo, one is able to determine the amount of Life around them. This technique can be used to detect individuals, determine how much reiatsu they have through their Life, and even gauge how much Life Force a Rogue has left. The range of this technique is rather impressive. At Learned, one is able to send the Echo out a mile around them. At Proficient this is increased to three miles. At Mastered, one can send the Echo out to five miles around them.
How to use technique: Focus on the hunger of the Bakkoto and send it out around you.
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Other
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Rogues
Technique Element: Poison
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Not really a technique in a sense, rather a passive trait that the Rogues greatsword possesses. Countless nights spent combating with Hollows, covered head to toe in their blood, would eventually have some sort of effect on the swordsman. His weapon, having bathed for so many nights, has become covered in an essence of filth. Hollow blood and reiatsu drying upon the weapons metal has contaminated the weapon and given it an interesting effect. When the blade comes into contact with a Quincy, the injures it causes carry with them the effect of Hollow Poisoning. Contact with the blade itself also carries over these effects, and it's worth noting that this trait is only effective against Quincy. Another thing to note is that individuals with high levels of Energy Sensory, at 150, can feel a sense of "evil" from Garrets sword.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): It's always active.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) None. It's a passive trait that only affects members of a single and nearly empty race. It's always active and lacks a reiatsu cost. This effect is not like a poison that spreads through the body, instead its a based on contact sort of thing. It's like putting a hot iron on skin, it only affects the directly contacted area.

Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Vita Sollertia
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Rogues
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Perhaps one of the more frivolous Vita Sollertia techniques, and one of the more questionable usages of ones own Life Force, Soul Steps modifies Hoho, augmenting it with one’s own life energy. The particular Hoho augmented this way is the one that all Rogues know from their Shinigami days: Shunpo. Soul Steps is a stance technique, which lasts for four posts or until ended early. While in that stance, anytime the individual uses Shunpo, they may spend 100 Life Force in order to augment that Shunpo. If they do so, they leave behind an after image, infused with their own life force. This afterimage can do one simple action, such as clap, either once or on loop. If someone interacts with the afterimage in any direct way, or ten seconds pass, the afterimage disappears.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Activate the technique to enter the stance, then use Shunpo normally, except also draw your own Life Force to your feet in addition to reitsu.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) Entering the stance costs as much as a normal Class 4 technique, and lasts for four posts. It can only be used twice a thread, and there must be at least three posts in-between each stance usage. The afterimages can be detected as anomalous with either a 200 energy sensory, or a 250 senses, or a 3 in Analysis. Soul Steps augmented Shunpos eat up double the number of step techniques per post.

{Vita Sollertia: Life Drain | Mastered} Technique Name: Vita Sollertia: Life Drain
Class: 3
Technique Type: Vita Sollertia
Usable By: Rogues
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: It is common knowledge the difference between the Shinigami and the Rogue. A Shinigamis power comes from within their own soul. They must make bargains with their soul until the inevitable day comes that they must conquer it to achieve Bankai. The Rogue, however, does not acquire his power from the inside, rather from the outside. The Bakkoto is a parasite, feeding off the reiatsu and life of its wielder in exchange for great power.
The purpose of this technique was to change what it was the Bakkoto fed upon. The Bakkoto is a parasite, a symbiote of sorts, seeking nourishment above all else. All it cares about, all it needs, is life force and reiatsu. The art of Life Drain uses these basic motivations of the Bakkoto and turns it against his opponent. When the adversary of the Rogue comes into contact with the Bakkoto, whether it be weapon or attire, the parasite will begin to rapidly feed upon its new source. A powerful technique, for every post that the Bakkoto remains in contact with its new source of food, 500 reiatsu will be stolen from them.
This reiatsu allows for two options by the Rogue. First, the Rogue is able to take that stolen Reiatsu and give it to themselves, replenishing their own reserves with their enemies. Many races and factions have tried to create techniques designed to steal the reiatsu of an enemy, but only the Rogues are capable of this. The second option is to convert the reiatsu into what a Rogue truly needs, into what allows the Rogue to continue fighting; Life Force. The main function of this technique is not to regain reiatsu, but is to in fact regain Life Force. When used against fellow Rogues, the user of this technique can rob Life Force rather than just reiatsu, same amount and can only be given to the users Life Force pool.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): The Rogue must have his Bakkoto come into contact with the targets body. This can be done by simply having the Bakkoto touch them, impale them upon the weapon that is the Bakkoto, or any other method of getting the parasite onto the target. They must then activate the technique.
Technique Drawbacks: This technique, despite its strength, does have a few drawbacks. Firstly, on the matter of draining reiatsu. If the stolen energy surpasses the amount that the Rogue has (SpPr stat), then the Rogue must use that reiatsu within two posts or the extra amount will deal sudden Life Force damage, equal to the extra unused amount of reiatsu. For every post that this technique is used, a Rogue will take 1.5x extra Life Drain depletion for attacks, except for any damage taken by too much reiatsu absorption. This technique has the cost of a Class 3 technique as well, and can only be used if it has been Mastered.
{The Parasites Influence | Mastered} Technique Name: The Parasites Influence
Class: 4
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Other
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Rogues
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Garrets mind, and soul, are a vortex of negative emotions. Hatred, anger, grief, fear, despair, all swirling around within him like an uncontrollable hurricane. Hatred and anger are his strength. However, within him dwells a darker being, one that feeds on and amplifies these negative emotions. Garrets Bakkoto is unique amongst others, in that it is capable of manipulating Garrets darker emotions in order to have him surrender himself to it. The Parasites Influence is a technique that is always active, and works against individuals who try to peer into Garrets mind and soul.
Those with high Energy Sensory are able to peer into other individuals, reading them like a book. This technique does not allow someone to do this to Garret. When a noisy individual tries to peer too deep into Garret, they are caught up in what is called the Maelstrom. A vortex of negativity, a disjointed and incomprehensible torrent of hatred and anger, they are forced to see brief, incoherent images of Garrets constant battles. Live as he did in those battles. They experience the emotions he experienced, taste all of those intense and negative emotions just as he did. For a brief moment, they know what it's like to be him. But this is only for a moment, as their prescence is instantly picked up on by the second identity within Garret. The manifestation of Garrets Bakkoto appears, forcing them out of his mind.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): It's passive. Always active.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) While this acts as a counter to the perks of high level Energy Sensory, it does not stop releases or techniques explicitly designed to invade anothers mind. Each time an individual attempts to intrude on Garrets mind, there is a 100 reiatsu cost price that must be paid. Now, how does this trait stand up against individuals who have clear superiority over Garret? Unfortunately, because this not a true technique, Garret cannot keep people who are above his class out of his head, their minds being able to pierce through the maelstrom and push back against the Bakkoto.

Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Vita Sollertia
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Rogues
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): This technique is one that most Rogues pick up given time and effort, and is relatively simple. It focuses on the concept that your Body and Soul are intertwined, and in an intimate state of balance. When one is damaged, the other can be bear some of the damage instead, reducing the injury. That concept is why Rogues lose Life Force anytime they are hit physically.
Body/Soul Harmony uses the technique to allow Rogues to recover from injuries that would normally put them out of the game. By burning Life Force and using reitsu, the Rogue is capable of sealing up open cuts, mending broken bones, reattaching limbs in extreme cases, or even fixing organs. This technique, however, is not like High Speed Regeneration, because it requires time and focus rather than being just passively active. This technique cannot fix spiritual wounds, only physical ones.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): The user must concentrate on the wound, and put the injury, at least temporarily, into the state they want it to be healed into. So forcing a broken arm straight with a split, attempting to close a bleeding cut, or pushing their severed limb to the stump. After doing so, they expend the necessary reitsu, and burn the required lifeforce.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) First off, the cost. The cost get’s more severe for bigger injuries. Cuts that aren’t more than four inches long can be sealed up for 100 reitsu and 100 Life Force. Larger than that requires 150 reitsu and 200 Life Force. Broken bones are 200 reitsu and 250 Life Force. Lost limbs are 350 reitsu and 450 Life Force. Damaged organs cost 500 reitsu and 500 Life Force. This technique also causes heavy physical exhaustion, and excessive use will cause the user to be unable to fight anymore. The technique requires a full post of focusing on the wound, which functions like a rest post: the user is unable to attack or defend in any way that would be prohibited as if they were seeking a rest post. Also, this technique causes incredible pain when reattaching a limb or mending a broken bone. This cannot be used on other individuals, regardless of Healing Expertise.

{Mantle of the Black Swordsman | Mastered} Technique Name: Mantle of the Black Swordsman
Class: 4
Technique Type: Defense
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Rogue / Shinigami technically
Technique Element: N/A
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Perhaps this technique is the first step in Garrets long and arduous path in taking control over his release. The essence of this technique is actually very simple, and is something perhaps any Shinigami with a Zanpakuto could learn how to do. In fact, Fullbringers can already do it. The basis of this technique is simple; to release ones weapon into its transformed state. Using this technique causes Garret to release his Bakkoto in part, bringing about the form but not the power. With this technique Garret will become encased in the black armor of his Bakkoto, adoring him in attire most suited for battle. Encased in a suit of spiritual steel, this gives Garret a good defensive advantages against the Hollows that come after him or any others that assault him.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Activate it.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) Despite the strengths of this technique, there are some serious limitations and drawbacks to its use. Firstly, this technique is merely a release of the transformed state of the weapon, but does not come with the abilities it grants. Meaning that using this technique is not technically a release, and does not come with the powers that come with a release. Using this technique costs 300 reiatsu. However, this is not something that will simply be used without caution. Mantle of the Black Swordsman is a show that Garret is on the path of learning to master and control his Bakkoto, however he is far from perfecting it. Using even this small amount of his releases power comes with a cost. Garret is able to use this technique for 6 Combat Posts before the drawbacks begin to show themselves. After the 6th post Garrets will and conscious begins to become under heavy assault by the Bakkoto, and for each point in Strength of Will he possesses he is able to hold onto the Mantle for another post. Say that he has a 2 in Strength of Will, then Garret would be able to maintain the Mantle for 8 posts before losing control and being Consumed by the Beast.

{Consumed by the Beast | Learned} Technique Name: Consumed by the Beast
Class: 2
Technique Type: Unknown
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Garret
Technique Element: Unknown
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): There is a saying. Anger can be used as a weapon. Anger can be a flame that sharpens a blade. Anger can also progress into rage, an uncontrollable wild fire that seeks to consume and destroy everything around it. Garret suffers from the black flames of rage and hatred, burning himself and everything around him with his desire for revenge. The man lacks control, and the Bakkoto takes advantage of this. When Garret enters his release state, he is near always overwhelmed by his hatred and anger, multiplied and magnified by the Bakkoto. Each and every time Garret has released his Bakkoto, he has slipped into this state. CBtB is something of an enhanced state of release in terms of technique mechanics. Entering this state causes Garret to enter the berserker state that he has always been shown in when entering his release. The weaknesses of man are thrown out and replaced by the strengths and anger of a beast. Entering this berserker state grants Garret some rather powerful advantages. When in this state the swordsmans perception of reality is warped, blinding him to how things actually are and showing him nothing but anger and the things that are trying to kill him. His fury is directed at these apparitions, these monsters that the Bakkoto warps his mind to show him. Everything is a Hollow to him. With his perception of reality being warped to such a degree, Garret lashes out at all and every living thing around him, unable to tell the difference between friend and foe.
This uncontrolled state also causes Garrets reiatsu to become crazed and rampant. This makes sensing how his reiatsu is being used difficult, at least for people with only 100 in the stat.
But a reiatsu distortion, is not the primary factor of this technique. No, the real benefits come if, or when, Garrets Bakkoto is released past Level Four. The fourth level seals off parts of Garrets nervous system, removing physical pain or discomfort from him entirely. Pain is the natural limiter of the human body, as it keeps everyone from exerting themselves too far and hurting themselves. While Garret is the sort of man to use pain to force himself past these limitations, he is still subject to them regardless. We all are. But with his nervous system, and thus pain, being sealed off...those limitations are gone.
So when Consumed by the Beast is active when the Bakkoto is, or past, Level 4, Garret receives two major bonuses. The first is a temporary Acrobatics of 2. Without limits holding the body back, the rage blinded Garret will do anything to press on the attack. He can force his body to perform in ways that he normally could not do, regardless of what damage would be done to him. Even though this skill is, technically, a 2, it's still sloppy in presentation. It's nothing compared to what someone with actual training could pull of, it is nothing more than Garrets body being forced past its limits. But the primary, and major, bonus to the Rogue is the 50% increase in his physical stats. Both Strength and Speed are increased dramatically, a result of his nervous system having been shut down, and are the greatest strengths to this state.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Either by releasing the Bakkoto when not in control of his emotions or the power, relinquishing control to the Bakkoto, or by being unable to stop the release when using Mantle of the Black Swordsman.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) However, despite the strengths of this technique there are a plethora of weaknesses. Let's go over the obvious one first; Garret is a berserker state when using this technique. Being in this state means that, obviously, Garret could not tell the difference between a friend or a foe. He is just as likely to attack an ally like Kimiko Aimi as likely as he would any Hollow or Arrancar. In such a mindless state of fury, where all he is concerned about is killing anything and everything around him, it makes sense then that higher levels of thinking are gone.
Gone are the possibilities of complex strategic thought. All of the Berserker Garrets strategy involve is are "attack". Dodging is only done if the Berserkers instincts feel they need to, and even they wouldn't be as well done or simply done to avoid the most possible damage, even if it means still getting damaged. Concern over being injured isn't a factor anymore, and while the Berserker still possesses the skill Garret had in a sword, his fighting style becomes rather different. almost like that of a Beast instead of a man.
Beyond that, however, is the loss of all of the swordsmans techniques. He is incapable of using even the simplest of Step Techniques. Any and all of his techniques are not able to be used in this state, the only things accessible to him are his sword and whatever feats he is able to perform with his stats.
On top of this, though, is the additional cost put on his release. Garret is required to pay an additional 50 reiatsu and Life Force, per level (7 would be 50, 6 is 100, 5 is 150 and so on), each time he has to refresh the release. But this isn't even the end of it, because this technique also places a restriction on the Bakkoto. Garret, in this state, cannot go past Level 2 in his release. He cannot access Level 1 or 0 in this state, keeping him locked at 2. There is also the matter of how this technique ends. Garret cannot, generally, pull himself out of this state. It would require a third party to be able to reawaken Garrets conscious and pull it free from the Bakkoto and anger. The, currently, only time Garret has ever pulled himself back from this state was during his battle with Noriko, when she was Shinsui.
The Arrancars identical appearance to his wife had caused a tidal wave of memories of Cassandra to come back to him, and caused him to be conflicted while fighting her. "What if this is actually my wife" he had been asking himself while fighting her, even though he had every reason to believe that this was, in fact, not true. But that thought had become stuck in him that during the battle when he released, the memories of Cassandra had managed to pull him back and place him into the controlled state of his release at the last moments of the fight. This has been the only time this has happened, and could never happen again fighting Shinsui. It takes other people to pull Garret back, and even then it has to be someone who has a strong connection to him...not just any random individual, as his inability to control his hate and anger leads him to being stuck in this state. And, when he's forced to use it with no chance of being pulled out, it only ends when everything around him has been killed or fled.
It's counted as a Long Term stat boost as well. So mechanical drawbacks aside, there is also the case that it is THIS state that causes the constant deterioration of Garrets body. The armor pushing his body past its limits so regularly causes incredibly strain on him, meaning that constantly using this technique WILL kill him. See any current threads for reference to this.

{Unstoppable Monster | Learned} Technique Name: Vita Sollertia: UNSTOPPABLE MONSTER
Class: 1
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Vita Sollertia
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Rogues
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Few know about the dark Vita Sollertia known simply as Unstoppable Monster, and most of those who do know assume that it’s a myth, a legend made by Shinigami in order to help demonize Rogues. Unfortunately, this technique does exist, and the few who know it are capable of becoming horrifying to behold in combat. UNSTOPPABLE MONSTER is in many ways the ultimate Life Force defensive technique, but comes at a terrible cost. While the technique is active, the user feels no pain and cannot be fatigued. Types with Stamina drawbacks do not suffer them. In addition, anytime they would be struck by an attack, they may give up 400 Life Force to temporarily gain a defensive armor equal to twice their Spiritual Pressure which follows Hierro rules and disappears after that one specific attack has resolved. This potentially negates the damage of the attack, although the rogue will still lose Life Force upon impact. Suffice it to say, killing a Rogue that has activated this technique is absurdly difficult.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): This technique, unlike most Vita Sollertia, has an incantation that must be recited. “So now it has come to this, and I am forced to give up my life to end yours. Tonight, things will function differently, and the world will change. Tonight, the foxes hunt the hounds. Pray to your gods, for your life is over.” Once that has been done, and the necessary Life Force has been expended, then the technique is activated, and all those who would oppose the Rogue are doomed.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) This technique comes at the ultimate cost. Once it has been activated, it cannot be deactivated until the thread is over, and it drains a fifth of the Rogue’s remaining Life Force at the end of each post. The Rogue’s Dark Aura instantly becomes 100, and they lose the ability to feel compassion or love. This technique doesn’t actually make the person immune to damage that they’ve already taken, merely unable to feel the drawbacks of it, meaning that their movement will worsen wounds. The spiritual armor activation only works against one attack at a time meaning a barrage of attacks is still as effective. The technique also costs an initial expenditure of 500 Reitsu and 500 Life Force to activate, not to mention the very lengthly incantation. This technique is also automatically terminated if the Rogue loses consciousness, and thus all the pain and fatigue will hit them in full force when they regain consciousness, potentially driving them insane.
