Quest Name:[/b] The Story of Willamette
Who can participate?:[/b] Anyone with a reasonable explanation to be there. As DM, I hold the right to pick and choose who is allowed to participate in this quest.
Quest Time Frame (How long it takes):[/b] Unknown. More than three pages at least.
Quest Setting (NDE/DE):[/b] DE
Quest Synopsis:[/b] The already sleepy town of Willamette has gone dark. When a town with a population of 53,594 suddenly goes quiet, it attracts attention. The factions of the Human World, Xcution and Uzaki Enterprise, express both interest and concern to what has happened to this Colorado town. Uzaki Enterpise, concerned that something nefarious is at work, sends in its own agent(s) to check out the situation. Xcution, curious, sends its own after the first recon agent never responded back. The Gotei is concerned how over fifty-thousand souls suddenly vanish in the Human World without a trace, and naturally respond with their own investigation. But what they discover is something none of them expected.

Special Note from the DM:
For the sake of clarity, I am not a confident DM. This will be my first real attempt at DMing in years, so I ask that the participants understand that. I aim to make a enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and hope the good I put in this thread outweighs my mistakes and shortcomings. I ask for patience with this, since everyone knows how my writing muse can be, and I will also be patient with everyone involved. Yes, this Quest IS based off something I love. So to the people who know what this is based off of, please don't ruin the story for the people that don't. I wanted to do something "easy" for my return to DMing, and feel the story from this piece of media was something I could play rather well and mold/shape to our sites universe.
That said, some special notes. There will be plenty of opportunities to acquire additional QP between each chapter, EXCEPT for the final chapter. As a DM, I certainly don't try to go out of my way to kill people. I follow the same train of thought Z had which was "if you put your hand in a blender and turn it on the outcome is your own fault." That being said, I want to give my participants a good time. Though, if I do end up taking a bit too long to reply when it's my turn feel free to kick me in the butt to try and get me going. Ya'll can weaponize Kaami for that.
