Physical Description:
Himitsu has spent all of his life, or at least all that he can remember, as a klutz. And part of the blame for his lack of coordination falls on his size. As far as he can recall, he had been considerably larger than his peers. Not only did he tower over them with his long legs, but his broad shoulders and wide body as a whole didn't make it any easier to remember his larger size. However, being as big-boned as he is, Himitsu naturally developed a lean, muscular built as well. The doctors, nurses, and patients that came and gone in his hospital were shocked to discover that despite his lack of exercise, his muscles never truly vanished. Arms still held that defined tone that so many other men had envied, and his abdomen held remained rock-solid and flat. They promised him that as soon as he was released, he would be able to go to the gym and properly develop his core muscles into a "six-pack" as they called it. Although he never got the chance to do so, they never stopped marveling at his natural muscular build.
When analyzing Himitsu, it is best to start from the top and work your way down. And at the top of Himitsu's head lies a nest of untended dark brown hair that curled itself into chaotic knots that refused to be managed. Therefore, he decided to make peace with his stubborn hair and not focus on perfecting his appearance. Especially such a small detail such has your hair. His messy brown curls reach an end just at the summit of his averagely sized eyebrows that rest casually. Under close examination, it is noticeable that they are very slightly darker than the rest of his hair.
His hazel eyes, on the other hand, are the exact opposite, and always stand out. They're noticeably lighter than his hair and eyebrows and seem to reflect his attitude and mood. When he is in brighter spirits, his eyes seem to hold a slight green hue under the light and dance like a flame torch to some rhythm, whether it be his words, his movements, or the breeze on a warm day. They were in sync with the world around him. However, when he's less cheerful and more angry, frustrated, or sad, they stand as a stone-hard wall colored similarly to the trunk of an oak tree, although they are considerably more durable. They allow no emotion to seep out and make his emotions nearly undetectable. Only those who know him well would be able to recognize those signs and understand that they are far from positive. At least he was pretty sure that if anyone would get to know him, they would be able to tell.
His face is oval shaped but doesn't stretch out too much and remains mostly round. Himitsu has a slightly large knows that he doesn't have to try too hard to see at the bottom of his vision. But it never bothered him too much. His eyes are the only busy feature of his face and he is happy to have another more present quality, even one that is a little less pleasant such as his nose. His lips are not thick nor thin but, as he likes to think of it, just right. His sharp chin is usually cleanly shaved. At the hospital, when he went a few days without shaving, the area above his throat and under his mouth became dotted with dark stubble, but he preferred to be cleanly shaved. Since his death, he hasn't had to worry about shaving any more. His face remained conveniently smooth.
As stated above, Himitsu has a large, muscular build. His pectoral muscles aren't popping out like some body builders, but they are outlined clearly against his light, yet slightly tanned skin. His abdomen is level and uniform but beyond the skin, it is stubbornly sturdy. His arms are also very well defined and, even without flexing, it would be hard to miss the noticeably hill his bicep creates on the inside of his arm. At the end of each arm lies a large, brawny hand that threatened to break punch through a wall and remain unscathed. They appeared to be harder than steel. His wide, powerful shoulders are more than qualified to connect his equally well-muscled arms and middle. The area between his medium-sized neck and his hips was considerably long and added to his height significantly.
But what allowed him to stretch so high was mostly the length of his legs. Strangely enough, Himitsu's legs were a summary of the remainder of his body. They were most definitely long, yet strong muscles were chiseled into them like stone. They were far from skinny and have large arcs that span over his thighs and calves to further outline his muscles. Sadly, though, he had just as little precision with them as he does with his arms and torso. They were constantly slamming into tables and nudging the stretchers in the hospital, rolling them so that they would sit crooked in the middle of the hall. But he managed with them and just kept walking, despite what got in his way. It didn't slow him down much. His feet were also large, but his toes especially appeared extremely young, almost like they could have belonged to a child. They were as smooth as a baby's skin and refused to age along with the rest of his mature body.
Himitsu wasn't too eager to embrace the plain apparel of the shinigami. In mostly black, he felt that he blended in too much. Like he was just another member of some larger organization. Like he was just another face. So Himitsu decided on a compromise. He added some "subtle" changes that would allow him to appear as an individual that served as a shinigami rather than a member of their mass numbers. The black uniform was now outlined in blue rather than the traditional white color. In addition, he wears an ocean blue piece of cloth around his waist that's tied from the back and follows him like a short tail, waving in the wind behind him. The changes weren't too drastic but it was more than enough for him to identify himself.
Dislikes:
1. Angry People - Himitsu prefers to wear a light-hearted mask so the last thing he needs is for someone to start "harshing his buzz." Angry people should keep their problems to themselves and not try to share them with the world. It's bad enough for everyone to deal with their own issues and knowing about anyone else's troubles won't make their lives any easier.
4. Indifference - How long does it take people to make up their minds?! It wastes time and leaves others bored and with nothing to do. Decide what you want and and start it but don't idle around in between. And the worst response people give is "I don't care." It doesn't contribute at all and Himitsu prefers to leave those people in the dust and continue with his life.
5. Waiting - Some people say that patience and wisdom are connected. Himitsu doesn't see it that way. One of the most aggravating things is to be left waiting for someone or something. It completely stops your progression and forces you to rely on others in order for you to continue your life. Fun, right? Wrong.
6. Hollows - The most fearsome creatures he's every seen. What began as fear of hallows developed into a powerful hate after he learned how to fight them through the academy. Now, at whatever chance he gets, he wouldn't mind taking a few out and saving several unfortunate souls by doing so.
7. Arrogance - There are far too many shinigami that think they're the shit and that the world revolves around them. What was that saying? With great power comes… a nice big head and an ego to fill it completely. Open your eyes, people, shinigami are there to serve and guide others. If anything, they are the servants. That should over-inflate your self-esteem.
10. Boredom - When sitting in a hospital bed most of the time, you tend to want to find something to do. Being bored is one of the least productive and, well, boring things anyone can deal with. Find something to do and make it worth while. Don't just sit there. Himitsu definitely won't.
11. Talking About Himself - This is a bit more of a touchy topic for Himitsu, really. You see, much like his name (Himitsu is Japanese for secret), his life is a complete and utter mystery. With no clue about who he is, how is he supposed to discuss himself?
Likes:
1. Model Shinigami - Not all shinigami are up to his standard, but, overall, the idea of being a hero to all words is pretty appealing. Especially after being rescued by a shinigami from hallows, he had aspired to train and become one as well. There is no better way to lead a new life.
2. Humans - People in general, really. While he was staying in the hospital, he had the pleasure of meeting several patients that would eventually leave and be replaced by new strangers. He got to talk to many of these people and tended to like most of them. Even the hospital nurses and doctors would love to stop by his room and have a brief, pleasant conversation. Sometimes, he likes to just observe the human word and wonder how he lived his life before he lost his memory. Before he was stuck in a hospital on his death bed.
3. Books and Movies - When lying in a hospital bed most of the time, boredom's visits are pretty frequent. And Himitsu hates boredom. I'm pretty sure we went over that. So when he isn't allowed to wander the hospital and when he is alone for the day, he might grab one of his books, flip to a random page, and begin reading. He built up a small library by his bedside, and he read those books five times each at the least. And when he's in the mood for something different, he might turn on the small square box at the foot of the bed and watch a nice movie, usually comedies.
4. Solitude - Peace and quiet. He got a lot of that at the hospital and he can still use more. The only difference is that while he stayed at the hospital, he was a prisoner in the building. Now as a shinigami, he is free to explore worlds and enjoy the scenery. Those beautiful places, most of which lie in the human worlds, are the best places to relax and enjoy your privacy.
5. Traveling - He's been locked up in a hospital most of his life, for Christ's sake. Why wouldn't he finally see the world through his own eyes. Why wouldn't he see all the worlds through his own eyes?
Flaws:
1. Being Straight-forward - Himitsu speaks his mind. At least most of the time. He's not the most diplomatic person and whatever honest thoughts that are filtered through his mind. Whether he comes across as rude or not depends on the receiver of his words. Hopefully, his light-hearted attitude would spread and they won't take his words too seriously.
3. Moral Compass - Himitsu has a nice little set of moral rules in his own mind. Anything that doesn't follow it is a problem. It's not exactly his business to interfere with something that doesn't follow his ethical code, but that doesn't seem to stop him. Justice is relative, after all.
4. Clumsiness - Being as huge as he is, it is easy for Himitsu to misjudge his size and collide with obstacles in his path. If he's lucky, they don't break. He's not the luckiest person. Being awkward and uncoordinated has its pros and cons- well, technically, they're all cons, but he'll deal with it.
Habits:
1. Humming/Whistling/Singing
2. Sleeping in Public Places (Especially When the Weather is Nice)
4. Reading Books
Fears:
1. Death (Both his own and his failure to defend one's life)
2. Failure (He was Quick to Learn in the Academy and Never Had a Hard TIme)

4. Reading Books
Fears:
1. Death (Both his own and his failure to defend one's life)
2. Failure (He was Quick to Learn in the Academy and Never Had a Hard TIme)
Goals:
Himitsu isn't exactly over-flowing with an endless list of ambitions, but he has decided on a couple major goals to accomplish as a shinigami and as a man. First of all, he would like to live a life for the first time. A full life. With memories and friends. And who knows, a potential family as well. Not like his previous mortal life that he can barely remember. It left far too big of a hole in his heart and the least he can do is at least try to fill it. By traveling to see the world, he might hope to patch the gap in himself.
Secondly, Himitsu wants to save people. He understands what it is like to be attacked by a hallow. There's no worse fear and panic a soul can experience. And the relief of being rescued by a shinigami was enough to aspire him to become a protector dressed in the shinigami black (of course with his own fashion addition as well). No soul deserves to be consumed by a hallow and he refuses to allow them to. Any hallow within Himitsu's grasp is as good as gone and he will train to ensure so.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Overall Personality:
Himitsu is a happy, go lucky guy. At least most of the time. He's not fond of the idea of letting his problems show so he glues that smile to his face and wears it like a crown. Even when he was in the hospital, he kept his carefree attitude, always beaming at the doctor's news and keeping an optimistic outlook. It was a struggle sometimes but he always pulled through. The only way to determine whether his happiness was genuine or false was to study his eyes. They're the window to his soul. More like a peep-hole really. No one is welcome to take a look.
Himitsu likes to be conversational. Meeting new people not only connects them but he gets a insight to their background. In Soul Society, a place where people from all different times are mixed together, it would be difficult not to take advantage of that to learn more about different time periods of the world. Himitsu would usually intimidate people with his unusually large size, but his bright smile tends to send a more friendly message. He's always direct with whom he talks to and rarely shies away from people. Only when there are too many for him to deal with at once in too small of a place. Did I mention that he isn't fond of crowds?
On some rare days, all of the misery and frustration Himitsu has would erupt from him and even then, a smile is difficult to pull off. But, as always, he takes advantage of his size and rams through those walls of anguish. It was painful but not impossible. To get rid of those excess negative emotions, he enjoys finding a beautiful, remote location and relaxing there. Sometimes, he might accidentally take a nap but that would only make the experience more pleasant. Afterwards, he can be found as cheerful as ever.
Himitsu always keeps his head straight and screwed on tightly. He loves to enjoy himself (who doesn't?), but that won't mean that he loses track of himself and his goals. His mind is always calm and direct, clear of all distractions. He never gets side-tracked but might take a break and pull over only to start back up the car and keep driving. Life goes on and the trick is to stay right behind it. He tries not to linger on his experiences, both good and bad. Sometimes, he might dawdle a little longer than he should, but he always moves on.
When it comes to superior Shinigami, Himitsu prefers to dial his speech down and talk as little as possible. Last thing he needs is to offend some captain. Otherwise, he remains as light-hearted as every around Soul Society. He will of course continue with his jokes and show off his smile, but that doesn't mean that he'll lose track of his goal. When it comes time to be serious, he will step up to the occasion. He never looks forward to a fight, but that doesn't mean he'll back down from one. It's his job to defend, and as long as that's his intention, he'll swing his Zanpakutou until he breathes his last breath.
