So killing Ursula wasn't what Irina wanted. But it was done, and there was no point in getting worked up about it now. Anyway, really, it was probably safer this way. In the Disney story of The Little Mermaid, she was pretty sure Ursula was under some sort of punishment, and clearly that hadn't held. So, she figured, what's done is done. Was it right? Maybe not. But were the Merpeople safer without her? Definitely probably. She understood Senshi's choice. She ruled in favor of protecting the innocent at a cost of the rights of the criminal. Was it the best choice? There was no sense in worrying about that now. Irina kept silent in regard to that development.
Her eyes widened as she felt the earth quake and saw the sky darken. She had never seen a storm like this before. This reminded her that she still had no idea where she was or why. But soon it didn't matter; it all faded into nothingness.
Then, the beach where she had started her day formed around her. Sand returned beneath her feet. Bleh. The salty smell filled the air. Bleh. Worst of all, the sticky heat came over her like a sweaty blanket. But at least she was home, or at least in the world where she belonged.
An alarming-looking figure arrived. His words sounded more like a proposition than a command, but Irina considered her response carefully. "I do appreciate the offer," she said cautiously, trying to keep her tone light. "But I don't plan on fighting any demons, so I don't think I'll be wanting any more power." She restrained herself from finding out any more information. Who was this? What kind of power was he tapping into? Was she in any danger? She hoped her plan to remain casual but respectful would keep the situation from escalating. She hoped she wouldn't have to choose what to do if the demon-like person wanted a fight. While maintaining eye contact with the demon, she muttered under her breath in response to Shizuka. "Who do you mean by 'Disney'?"
