The Meek Shall Inherit [PG-13, NDE, Adventure]

(OOC: Asmos wished for me to take the lead.)

Takashi took the lead, walking in front of the other two. Takashi's eyes began to narrow in upon the strange reaitsu he felt. He stopped for a moment while they were in the middle of the tunnel. He stayed quiet for a moment as he shined his flashlight head of them.."Asmoskon, Hotaru...have you two noticed the change in reaitsu? The air within these confines seems rather...welcoming. Let us trad carefully, do not make any sudden moves if we encounter something.". He then continued to pace forward. He was not sure why something would be so inviting, but mainly the invitation would be sinister. It was almost like a plant calling out to an insect; there was always an ulterior motive.

Soon, the three would reach the end of the tunnel and it seemed to be completely different. Takashi narrowsed his eyes as he shinned his flashlight upon the sewage that seemed to stop at a certain point. He didn't need to say it again, they had to be careful. The three pressed forward until they entered into the Hollow's den. Takashi took a few steps as he noticed the startling change in architecture. Takashi turned off his flashlight as the room had its own lighting it seemed. He blinked as he looked around the area.

He didn't instruct the others, rather, he made his way towards the center of the room with the chairs that were facing one another. Takashi simply pulled up one of the chairs and sat down. He took out his Zanpakuto and placed it to the side of the chair. He looked towards the chess game that had been played. His eyes trailed upon the white pieces that lay in front of him. His hand reached down, grasping the rook and moving it up two spaces and then towards the left. "I believe that is a check". He said aloud. He didn't say anything to the other two, simply allowed them to do as they pleased. The room was small, but there had to be some clue as to what was going on here. However, Takashi had his own theory which he would try out now.

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

She walked in the middle, keeping a lookout for anything that would seem out of the ordinary in a sewer. She honestly didn't know what would look too out of place, since she's never been in a sewer, but she had a good idea what she would find. She continued to look out, trying to keep the same amount of distance between herself and the other two. Just in case something pops out, she knew how much clearance she had to move her zanpaktou.

It was then that she noticed Takashi stopped. She stopped as well. When he said something about the reiatsu change, once she really concentrated, she could feel the change as well. It felt warm like the sunshine. Hollow are dark, their reiatsu's shouldn't feel that warm at all. He was right to tell them to be careful. It sounded like they might be walking into a trap. She just hoped that the hollow wouldn't immediately jump out at them.

They were getting closer, she almost felt the weight of the reiatsu on her, it was so thick down her. She almost tripped over a piece of metal and when she looked down, she noticed that the sewage had a stopping point. She didn't know how sewage systems worked in detail, but she was pretty sure they didn't do this. She kept her guard u even more while she continued through the sewers with her little entourage until they hit the end of the tunnel. It was then that her mouth hit the floor.

This room looked like out of a house. It was dumbfounding her that this could be here. She picked up the bottom of her mouth and just looked around. She saw Takashi go to the center of the room, but she just took in all the detail of the room. She put her hand up to the walls to feel them and even put her hands on the floor. They all felt real. Like the real wood from a forest got put in this sewer. It was then she heard Takashi say check. She looked in the middle and saw a chessboard set up. She stood up straight, right hand on hilt and put herself on alert, just in case something would be coming down.

Switching off from the lead of the group to the back up position. Asmoskon walked as the final member of the group coming up the back with is bowstring and reflexes at the ready. He had cancelled out the Reiatsu Orb technique in his right hand now that Takashi had arrived and had a flash light with him to guide them. Everything seemed to be the same as was normal for a sewer. Asmoskon had done more than his fair share of hollow smiting while underground. That was due to the fact that Tokyo was so big and nothing is darker than a sewer.

Placing his hand on wall of the sewer tunnel Asmoskon felt that the sewer's side was made of concrete. That meant that this sewer was either older or made in a special way. Neither option truly mattered however for the sewer wasn't the target of the mission at hand. Taking is right hand back and placing it once again on his bowstring Asmoskon surveying the darkness with his eyes. Asmoskon could feel something slightly out of the normal of what he would expect.

This dark place that had air that seemed like waste and death felt warm and fresh. Asmoskon knew this was bad. They were entering into an area close enough that some kind of hollow's reiatsu was effecting them. This meant that either that hollow knew where they were and was doing it by choice. That or the hollow's reiatsu was strong enough to effect anything that came near it. Either way Asmoskon wasn't liking the feeling that continued to push itself upon him like a weight on his shoulders.

It felt like all the stress and worry that the young Quincy had built up and kept over the last few years was being washed away. For a moment the Quincy just wanted to accept it and stop moving, to revile in enjoyment at the sensation. Asmoskon knew however that this wasn't true happiness or joy though, but a veil that the hollow was trying to place over his mind. He had a group of people he knew and could call by their first names. That meant that he had a responsibility to do his best to make sure that both of them made it out of this sewer alive and well.

It was at that moment that Takashi spoke about the reiatsu as well. Asmoskon knew now that it most likely was that the hollow's reiatsu was broad not specific. Upon the sight of the room with wooden flooring Asmoskon was shocked to the point his pupils shrunk slightly in fright and surprise. Just as Takashi was moving the chess piece Asmoskon draw back the bowstring and concentrated his reiatsu into a single dark red arrow. He was quiet scared, but knew that this was a trap and that they were in the kill box of this hollow.

As Takashi casually moved the rook, his allies prepared for combat. Which of them was more correct in their approach? The answer was soon to be seen, as a voice came from behind Asmoskon. "Please, no archery indoors. It's absolutely disgraceful." The voice was unexpected, and possibly would cause Asmoskon to let loose his arrow, depending on how surprised he was. However, if he was to turn, he would see no one there. And in fact, neither of his compatriots would have heard the voice, let alone see someone, or something, speaking.

And yet, there were more odd things occurring. If Takashi looked back to the chess board, he would notice that the pieces were such that white was in check, checkmate in fact, with black having captured the rook. He would think it strange, perhaps, but that was the extent that his mind would allow him to think about it. He'd remember thinking that he had put black in check with the white rook, but since the reality of the situation clearly showed otherwise, it was probably his memory that was faulty. There wasn't really another explanation.

Hotaru's hand was no longer on her hilt, but limp to the side. Asmoskon would hear another whisper, in her side of the room, requesting "Be polite, you're guests here. No need to get up in arms about it. Stay, relax. You're going to be here for a while." However, Hotaru wouldn't hear it, and likely wouldn't think too much of her hand moving. It likely just slipped. That was it. It just slipped. Last, but not least, the cup of liquor was now empty, and although all three of them would notice it, and think it odd, only Asmoskon would be able to pinpoint why: It had been full a few seconds ago.

Shock and fear rushed throughout Asmoskon's every nerve to the point that Asmoskon's grasp on his bowstring nearly shook off. A voice had just spoken to Asmoskon. It was as clear as day and easy to understand just like Hotaru or Takashi. That meant though that whatever spoke to Asmoskon was either in his mind or in the room with him and his allies. Asmoskon looked around the room an saw nothing jus like before. It seemed as though nothing had changed and then he started to notice that certain elements of the room had shifted.

Asmoskon couldn't be sure if it was a result of this hollow or not, but he saw Hotaru's hand was no loner on her zanpakuto. Asmoskon knew Hotaru rather well for the short time that they knew each other and one thing he knew was that she wouldn't leave herself open. He picked up on the fact that the alcohol was gone as if it had just vanished from within its container. This was bad things were starting to occur and it seemed as though both Hotaru and Takashi were unaware. At that thought Asmoskon realized something about the details he knew of this hollow. Powerful spiritual individuals had been unable to sense it or find the hollow.

What if it wasn't just that though. Perhaps this hollow cloaked itself from those stronger than itself. That was the only logical explanation Asmoskon could manage to piece together before the voice spoke once again.

"Be polite, you're guests here. No need to get up in arms about it. Stay, relax. You're going to be here for a while."

Turning his head in a wild fashion Asmoskon surveyed the room once again making sure that there was no sign of the hollow. It seemed like nothing, but Takashi and Hotaru were in the room with him, but he knew that was not true so where was the hollow. It seemed Asmoskon was the one that would need to lead the group once again against this hollow. "I'm only respectful to those you don't harm the innocent hollow."

Asmoskon knew that he couldn't see the hollow and even though he had tried the second time the voice had spoken h was unable to trace it back to its origin. It truly seemed like only Asmoskon had a chance at finding t and solving the problem. Asmoskon knew that this room was far to small to utilize his bow effectively and so he would need to take on his other form of combat. His bow vanished into nothingness and his arms moved upwards crossed over one another in front of his chest.

"Smite the enemy with hollow steel" Asmoskon spoke the incantation and just as the last word left his lips two silver curve blade hatchets appeared in both of his hands grasps. "Takashi, Hotaru the hollow is in the room. Stay alert try to remain focused and react to any change in the placement of objects." Asmoskon felt that it was pointless to search for this hollow considering even he could see it. This battle wasn't going to be easy and Asmoskon wasn't even sure that his group would survive now.

Remaining Reiatsu: 975/1000 ~Hohle Schneide~

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru was looking around the room, trying to search for this hollow, when Asmoskon looked different. She could tell that there was something off with the Quincy. She started to walk towards her friend. He looked really shaken up for some reason. She had heard nothing. She didn't know what he heard, but if he looked like that, then something must have really spooked him.

When she started the walk, she noticed that her hand was off her sword. She stopped and looked down at her zanpaktou. She was pretty sure that she had put her hand on the hilt. It was her go-to maneuver. It let her walk, but still be alert and close enough to her weapon that she could draw it at a moment's notice. In such as an environment as this one, she wouldn't just not have her hand there.

She started to look around the room. She wanted to see if there was anything she thought of differently but now was different. She saw the chessboard and the pieces were in different places. She was certain that Takashi walked over to that chessboard, sat down and called a check on the board. If she remembered correctly, he was white and had checked black. Though, she was certain that he moved a rook in for the move. Now, there was a checkmate.

It was when she noticed that she heard Asmoskon say something under his breath. She looked over and saw that there were now two curve hatchets in his hands. She didn't know that Quincy could just give an incantation and could have weapons appear like that, it was pretty cool. Asmoskon said what she already thought, that the hollow is here in the room and there were changes. "Roger that Asmoskon!" She put her right hand on her hilt tightly, waiting for the hollow to appear.

Hmm...that is definitely strange.... Takashi thought to himself as he looked towards the pieces of the chess board. It was weird...they had switched. He had thought he had put black in check. However, some of the pieces seemed to open up strangely...weird. He blinked a few times as he looked down towards the board. Strange indeed. He thought once more to himself. Takashi looked towards the cup and noticed it had been drunk already. Yet another strange occurrence. There was something strange in the works here but he had some ideas of what was going on.

It was then that Asmoskon seemed to say something. Takashi found it odd, it appeared as though Asmo was speaking to himself for a moment. However, that couldn't be the case. It also seemed, looking at him, he could see or hear something that the he could not; interesting. Takashi listened to the man as he spoke of a hollow being in the room and to react to any changes. So indeed, Asmoskon was able to see something that they were not able to. Takashi blinked as he scooted the chair back, he then put it back in its place. He looked around the room, his Zanpakuto clung tight in his left hand. He began looking around, his hands against the wall perpendicular to Asmoskon. "Asmoskon, please watch my hand and if the room if are able to. Please allow me to know if anything unusual happens". Takashi recoiled his elbow for a second. All of a sudden, using all of his speed and half of his strength, he balled his hand into a fist and smashed into one of the paintings.

As Asmoskon barked orders, he could hear a small chuckle coming from the chair. "The problem with the innocent is that they just taste so damn good I can't help but harm them. Really, I'm in love with that particular sin of mine." As the voice spoke, it traveled, but not in a linear pattern. No, it seemed to come from different corners of the room at once, although it didn't echo. Strange indeed. As he summoned his weapons however, the voice sighed. "What part about keep this polite didn't you fools understand?"

On the other side of the room, Hotaru prepared for combat, hand touching her sword. Or rather, she tried to. Instead, all she felt was air. This time, given she had illusion resistance prowess and was aware of the forces at work, she was able to distinctly remember having a sword by her side, although she wasn't sure when it vanished. If she focused, perhaps, she could estimate it was after Asmoskon said her name. Some weight changed within a few seconds after that, maybe that was when her sword vanished? She couldn't be certain.

And then there was Takashi. Now that he was aware about the illusion, he was confident he'd be able to conquer it with his superior willpower. And luckily, his sword was untouched, and now in his hand. Although, come to think about it, he didn't remember having been cut before, and yet blood was dripping from his palm. "That's what you get for interfering with my game, Shinigami." Both Takashi and Asmoskon would hear it, but Takashi would forget it seconds later, such was the ability of this Hollow.

Then Takashi took action, and thrust his fist through the painting. It slammed against the steel sewer wall behind it, after ripping through the painting's canvas. There was utter silence for a moment, save for a small gasp that all three could hear, and remember. "You son of a bitch, that was an original." A voice snarled from the chair. Then, the chair was in motion, flying at Takashi at 150 Speed. If it hit him, it was going to hurt, almost certainly. A split second after, Hotaru noticed her own sword flying at her, from perhaps three feet away, almost no time to dodge.

While this was happening, Asmoskon could see a blur moving throughout the room. He didn't have time to shout a warning to his allies before the blur rapidly approached him, and something extended from the left of it, swiping at his eyes. "I will break your skulls and devour your corpses."

Asmoskon listened as the hollow spoke once again explaining itself only to cause Asmoskon to sneer in disgust. How could a pure soul taste good to anything at all was beyond Asmoskon. He knew thought that it was the way of a hollow. He couldn't allow that feeling in his gut to judge a hollow simply because it would be like judging someone for liking something he didn't. The way Asmoskon saw it that would just be disrespectful even to a hollow.

Now though Asmoskon knew that the hollow was angry and prepared to eliminate him and his group. Asmoskon tried to locate the origin of the hollow’s voice yet again. However, for some reason it felt like the voice was coming from the entire room. An idea shot into the Quincy’s mind. What if the hollow was the room itself. He wasn’t completely sure if that was possible, but kept the idea as a possibility.

Once Takashi punched through the painting Asmoskon could hear the ring on the metal of the sewer. Now as the hollow shouted Asmoskon knew it was going to strike. Keeping himself focused while paying attention with his peripheral vision Asmoskon could see that the chair was starting to move and so was Hotaru’s zanpakuto. He couldn’t fire off an arrow from his bow due to the fact that he had materialized his hatches.

Asmoskon wasn’t confident though that he could throw either of his hatches fast enough to stop the zanpakuto or the chair from hitting his group. Extending his index fingers from each hand Asmoskon shifts his body facing between both Takashi and Hotaru. Pointing towards both of them while watching and hoping to predict correctly the speed and angle of the assaults Asmoskon activates Versteckte Pfeil from his index fingers. Hoping that the small thin arrows that he had just fired off would strike both the chair and zanpakuto before that struck either of his group mates.

Asmoskon needed to test something though. The hollow had gotten upset at Takashi when he ruined the painting maybe that was a signal of some kind. Twisting his body around while raising his right hand upwards then using the momentum downward to strike with his hatch down on the table. Asmoskon planned for the hatch to strike on the table cutting through the wood and the chess board. This would hopefully make the hollow angry and reveal itself or give some knowledge of its location.

Remaining Reiatsu: 950/1000 ~Versteckte Pfeil~

Asmoskon's actions gave mixed results. Although the arrows that he fired were powerful enough to knock the Zan aside, so that it would fly by Hotaru with nary a graze, the chair that was flung at Takashi was significantly larger, and all that happened was that his arrow ripped through the fine material that made up the chair, piercing through it and coming out the other side. It's course was unchanged, and Takashi would still have to dodge. However, that Asmoskon clearly wasn't done, and turned his attention instead to a different tactic.

Asmoskon swung his body and utilized Hohle Schneide, in the form of a hatchet, to cut the chessboard in twain, in an attempt at infuriating the Hollow. And he succeeded. But truly, had he wanted to? The roar was heard by all three, and seemed to be coming from nowhere. Not like they couldn't detect the origin, but that the origin did not exist. Asmoskon's actions didn't, however, cause him to dodge the rapidly approaching blur that swiped at his eyes, as he seemed to neglect dodging in favor of such a tactic. The blow rocked Asmoskon's head, and he felt his forehead explode in pain. Rapidly, something began to flow downwards, and his eyes started to be covered by a red liquid.

"I'm going to take those useless eyes of yours, and then eat you alive, while your friends stand around, wondering where you're disappearing to."

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru went to grab for her sword, but she just felt air by her side. She looked down and the sword wasn't there. She knew for a fact that her sword had been there. She never leaves without it by her side. She had no idea when it was taken from her. It shamed her that she couldn't remember that. Her sword was an extension of herself, and she felt a little hole where it should be. She tried to think back over what happened and to see when it could've disappeared to. She knew that after Asmoskon said her name, she felt something different. Maybe that's when it disappeared...

She looked over to Takashi and she saw his palm dripping blood. When had he gotten cut? She tried to think over the last minutes thoroughly. Though, for all her effort, she couldn't really remember anything going on that would explain what was happening to them. Just then, she saw her zanpaktou start flying towards her and a chair was hurtling itself towards Takashi. Her sword was so close, she didn't know if she would have the time to dodge.

Just then, she saw Asmoskon's arrows fly towards her sword and the chair. Thankfully for her, it knocked her sword off course enough that it grazed her. Using her speed, she was able to grab her sword out of the air. Once she grabbed it, she looked it over completely. She wanted to make sure that there wasn't any scratches on it. She didn't want anything to hurt her sword, she cared for it too much.

After she was done looking over her sword, she saw Asmoskon use one of his hatchets to completely cut the table, and chessboard, in half. Right after he did that, though, she heard this huge roar coming from the room. She looked around during the roar, trying to find a place where it was coming from. She couldn't seem to pinpoint an origin from it. It just didn't make sense to her.

After the roar, she looked over to Asmoskon and saw the strangest thing. He started bleeding. But, she didn't see the attacker. She quickly re-attached her sword, much more securely this time, and ran over to Asmoskon. When she got there, he was bleeding pretty badly. She looked him over and it seemed like he was bleeding from his forehead. She ripped off some of her uniform and tried to make a make shift bandage on his forehead. "Are you alright Asmoskon?"

[Takashi Kuchiki]

Strange things were going on indeed. Takashi could feel his left hand beginning to bleed. What exactly was this? He could feel the strange liquid coming from his hand. It was strange, there had to be something that made him cut his had. It seemed all the oddities had started upon first entering this room. It was then that Takashi punched through the door. A moment later, he would hear a voice which would cause him to turn back to see what was going on. It was then that he would notice the piece of wood that was flying towards him.

The young shinigami noticed the chair that was flung toward towards him. He drew his sword while shuffling left to avoid the chair, which nearly hit him. If it were not for the small projectile which flew through the air, hitting the chair. It didn't change its course but perhaps had slowed it down. The chair would smash against the walls. Perhaps Takashi would have to take this more seriously. However, for now, he would remain calm and collected. Analyzing the situation was what was the most important thing to do now.

The snow haired man looked on with his dazzling blue eyes at the table that had been destroyed. Out of the corner of his eye he had also previously noticed the strange occurrence by Hotaru's sword. There was a roar that emitted; this was most likely in response to the destruction of the nest. Whatever this thing was, it was invisible and it was clearly attacking. Takashi would not have attacked if this thing didn't. However, perhaps it wasn't the smartest idea for him to start attacking first.

He had broken this things furniture and such. However, he was still a hollow and killed a lot of his comrades. With his sword in hand he simply muttered the word 'kai'. Takashi's black weights would fall off, his reaitsu rising and his skills back. Controlling his reaitsu, he didn't let it spike noticeably but perhaps it was noticed. Takashi took notice, just as soon as Asmos was hit, his sword began glowing a beautiful blue color. The white hair began to swing his sword. His shuffle to his left caused him to vanish out of sight, cutting the air in a shunpo.

He was perpendicular to Asmoskon yet still 20 feet away as he swung his sword horizontally. With his weights gone, his speed was greatly increased. With that, a blue cutting shockwave emitted from his sword. "Sakugen!", Takashi called out. It traveled just in front of Asmos in order to cut the strange creature that had hit him from what was perhaps close range. The horizontal of the shockwave was intended to be able to cause this creature to jump or crouch, hopefully Asmos would be able to hit it then.

Although Hotaru and Takashi had dealt with their impending dangers, Asmoskon had not, and his wound was clearly bad. Hotaru's attempts at stemming the bleeding would only go so far, and it was clear that the Quincy would have to seek medical attention in the near future. He likely had another few minutes (or four posts) of relatively unhindered action. However, the blood that dripped irregularly into his vision would make it hard for him to aim, even with his ability to stay calm and focused on his target.

On the other hand however, they were in a better spot than they were a few seconds ago. Because as Takashi's shockwave arced through the air, slashing the air nearby Asmoskon, a scream was heard by all three, and blood started pouring from the air a few feet away from the Quincy. It flickered for a moment, before a Hollow became visible to the trio, a strange creature which appeared like a rat on two legs, with claws made of a black metal that seemed to absorb the light around them. The Hollow's right arm was almost falling off, and it's face, what wasn't covered in it's mask, was twisted into a snarl.

"Shinigami, shinigami. Destructive little puke. I'm going to kill you last. I'll beat you to death with the limbs of your comrades. I'll rip out your tongue and blind you with it. I'll eat your guts just to vomit them back down your throat." As the Hollow spoke, already the three could see that it's arm was beginning to mend. It clearly had some degree of regenerative capabilities. However, for the moment, it seemed that it had to focus to utilize them. Whether or not it could evade attacks was uncertain, but it certainly wasn't in a position to go on the offensive.

The rush of pain occurred so swiftly that Asmoskon had a hard to time actually understanding what was going on. It had happened right after he had clashed the blade of one hatchet against the table destroying it. Asmoskon had planned for the action to draw out the hollow and reveal itself. However, he hadn't anticipated the fact that the hollow would strike him out in rage. Now Asmoskon could feel large sharp blades on his head and everything start to grow colder.

H needed to do something. He wouldn't allow the hollow to strike him down so easily and move on to his group. As far as he knew neither Hotaru or Takashi could see the hollow or hear him. That meant that Asmoskon needed to stay alive and lead the three of them to victory and survival. Planning to bring both of his hatchets upward and slash above his own body only to be saved just before by the sudden appearance of Takashi. The hollow was speaking threats toward Takashi now just as he did against Asmoskon.

As the blood flows downward from his forehead washing over his eyes Asmoskon's emotions begin to run on anger. The threats of the hollow against Takashi were just as vile and harsh as spoken against himself. While he might not hold Takashi close as he did Hotaru he was still an ally who had just aided him against the hollow. Asmoskon wouldn't allow such a low creature to harm either of his allies and he was going to end it now. As the rat like hollow was revealed and its arm began to heal Asmoskon stared toward it revealing his rage.

Spinning his body while bring both of his hatchets upward Asmoskon throws both weapons toward the hollow. Everything had become tinted blood red as his own life covered his sight. Asmoskon watched anticipating the reaction of the hollows evasion if there was any. Aiming his right hand toward the hollow Asmoskon utilizes Versteckte Pfeil once again firing off a dark red reiatsu arrow at the hollow. "Take the hollow out now don't allow it to survive!"

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Once she had fixed up Asmoskon to the best of her ability, Hotaru watched as Takashi came quickly over to their position. He used the shockwave Sakugen technique with his slash attack. She had never really used it, but it looked impressive when it was being used. She felt the shockwave in the area. She watched what had happened to her fix job of Asmoskon's wound. It didn't help too much, but at least it was something to help him.

After Takashi was done, she heard a blood curtling scream. It was eerie and she hoped that everyone else had heard it as well. This hollow was tricky with how it was able to bounce sounds off the walls in this place. Then, she watched blood start to appear out of thin air. It must be the area where the hollow is. She started to get up, unsheathing her sword and prepared herself to strike at it.

Then, the horrible hollow appeared. It looked like a huge rat, walking around on two legs. Its claws were very sharp, almost looking like they were made out of metal. She could see the snarl on its face. It definitely wasn't happy that they were there to kill it. She took a deep breath and remembered what Soul Society had told her about this horrible beast. She had to end this quickly.

Thankfully, Takashi's attack had almost severed its right arm. But, she could see that the arm was on the mend. It wasn't a good sign. She didn't know that regular hollows had high speed regeneration. She had only thought Arrancars had that kind of power. She tried to keep herself calm. This hollow has put the people of Karakura through hell and back, killing without mercy. It has now damaged a very trusted ally of hers. It had just made this fight personal for her.

She saw that Asmoskon had fired off an arrow and said to take it out now. She didn't have to be told twice. She held out her left arm and her right arm, with her sword still in it. She called out "Burn, Rivu~aiasan!" She felt Rivu~aiasan move over her sword and cannon. Before the change was completed, however, she Shunpoed over to the right side of the hollow.

While Asmoskon shot an arrow at the hollow, she appeared at the hollow's right side. Since her arms were already out, she set her cannon to the hollow and immediately spewed fire out at the hollow. Then, with her sword, she slashed at its midsection. She hoped that all the attacks would hit at the same time, so this hollow couldn't regenerate. She was done fighting this hollow and she wanted to talk to Asmoskon again before he left.
