Squatting in the middle of the dirt street in the 80th District of the Southern Rukongai one could find a small group of criminals. Each a full-grown man covered in various tattoos and all of them looking to have a mixture of fun and benefit as they bet one another. Just a pair of dice constantly being picked up and rolled down between the group that stared down at them hoping against all hope that somehow these dice would be able to change something beyond its own control.
"Damn this is stupid. So over this let's go actually do something."
"Yeah, idoit what should we do? No one is here remember."
"Hey, it's not my fault we can't go to one of the other districts. Maybe if you didn't piss off everyone else, they wouldn't kill us as soon as see us."
"HEY! You know damn well Tenko wasn't my fault! He was the one looking for a fight, so I gave him what he wanted."
"He was looking to beat someone up, not get beat up you moron."
"It doesn't matter we've already looked through everything around here. We'll just have to wait for everyone to return."
"You really think they'll come back after what's been happening?"
"These districts always get filled back up eventually. The comfortable can't deal looking at our kind long. So once these Beasts stop coming by, they'll all be back, and we'll be back in business."

Tala made sure he was the first one of the selected group to arrive at the appointed meet up spot. He made sure his lens were working properly and his zanpakuto was securely tightened to his waist as he waited for the other two to arrive. He was somewhat relieved to have support from the Fourth Squad for once. He's never really met any up till now so he was also somewhat excited to meet and hopefully befriend them. Of course he was likely going to be the highest seated officer there as he was also the assigned Expeditionary Leader for this mission, something he's been doing a lot lately.
He wasn't complaining however as it gave him more excuses to go out and see what was going on in the Districts since the Hell Invasion and since he's been gone. And while he's never actually been as far as the eightieth district, he's heard enough rumors to know that they'd need to be very aware of their items at all times as this Beast wasn't the only threat in the outer districts.
Of course, he was still concerned about what this whole business with a Beast was about. he'd never really heard much about the Beast Clansmen nor about them coming near the Rukongai and killing (arguably) innocent souls. While he wasn't looking forward to a fight, he'd still be ready for one nonetheless but he hoped they could end this mission peacefully.
He'd push these thoughts aside as soon as he spots his fellow companions, giving them a warm smile in greeting, "Hey guys, I'm Tala Selao, Seventh Seat of Squad Three but Tala is just fine. I'm the Lead Expeditionary member that was assigned to this investigation and just wanted to let you two know that if we can, I'd rather we solve this with as minimum violence as possible."

It really had to be bad if the people in Southern Rukongai District 80 were asking for help from Seireitei. Normally, the folks in the outermost districts seemed to believe that the Court of Pure Souls was simply a problem; at best to be avoided, and at worst to be overthrown. They certainly didn't need the high and mighty guys in black running around and telling them what to do. Which was why the request to get rid of this problem really stood out. The 80th Districts, whichever directions they were, seemed to pride themselves in their ability to 'rough it up' in life.
Rogue hollows could after all be found in the wilds beyond Rukongai, and a hollow sighting in the 80th Districts was not an impossibility. Somehow, the denizens of the furthest Rukongai reaches had managed to survive in spite of the crazy dangers. Asking for help meant desperation. As such, whoever would be sent on this mission would have to have some level of support. This was why Iroka had been summoned to join the team going to investigate and bring this murdering beast to justice. As it were, Iroka knew what she was meant to do. Stay out of the way, and provide cover fire and healing when she could. There was another 4th Division member coming along on this mission. Hopefully he would make the work easier.
Arriving at the designated area for this mission, Iroka noted that one of her team members was already around. Brown-haired and grey-eyed, with some characteristic that suggested he had a kind persona, even behind that apparently intense expression. "Munemasa Iroka reporting in," she replied to his greeting with a formal bow. "Please call me Iroka, though. Squad Four unseated member, here to provide support. I'd personally be glad if we didn't have to do any fighting here." It was interesting that he, being a 3rd Division Shinigami, would be not so interested in fighting. Still, Iroka had begun to have a better opinion of the Sanbantai, thanks to having met their captain.
The 80th district eh? I think at some point I wandered through here. I know I've definitely wandered through the East and West. Still that was long ago. . . I wonder if anything will be the same as it was? I wonder if anyone will even remember me. I doubt I didn't stick out like a sore thumb then. Let alone now. Still, thank God above, that I'm able to walk through these districts without being attacked. Surely He's looking out for me in these lawless lands. As Gestalt looked around he gazed upon the "rough" life that those in these parts had. Dilapidated huts. Some with something akin to a house. And others in tents. It was still winter so he couldn't imagine that they weren't cold in some capacity. And they certainly didn't have clothing to spare if his travels told him anythin.
He spoke a nearly silent prayer for those in the outer districts. Hoping that his presence, as well as the other two he was assigned with, would assist these people. Give them some tangible peace of mind. It was another several minutes before he finally found the other shinigami who, like him, stuck out like a sore thumb. Perhaps if we had two more members, we'd be a sore hand instead of fingers haha! Still it's good to see them. Though. . . is that someone I know? She looked familiar. As Gestalt walked towards the group, he waved to get their attention. To say it was easy to point him out would be an understatement. On top of the typical shinigami garb he wore his grey stole, a priests cloth garment, usually worn around their shoulders and over their torso. Gestalts was worn like a scarf, ecompassing his neck with much shorter tassles over his chest.
He had a pair of glasses and his beaded necklace with a wooden cross on his chest. And of course, to make sure everyone around him knew what squad he was from, wore a white arm band with the squads insignia on it. When Gestalt finally made it over to the group he gave a small bow to each before looking at Tala specifically. "It's nice to finally meet those I'll be working with. Let alone someone from another squad whose not on a medical cot. I'm Father Gestalt, but just Gestalt is fine. If I had to guess you're Tala correct?" Gestalt would wait for confirmation and when he got it would look over at Iroka. "I believe I've seen you around the barracks. Perhaps the hospital but regardless I'm glad to meet you. I look forward to working alongside you."
Turning his attention back to Tala he'd listen to what he had to say and nod. A soft smile made itself present on his face. Though he didn't speak he visibly relaxed. As much as he may desire a fight, he was far more willing to avoid a serious fight. He didn't need to devle deeper into old habits. Especially when it could bring him closer to his older self. He mentally groaned just thinking about his previous life but refocused his attention on the group. He needed to focus. The group was assembled and it seemed like he wasn't the only one with extra gear accompanying him. So it was likely that the threat of this "beast" was more than the mission orders spoke of.
Description: When purchased, this item can be made into any set of clothing that the wearer wants. Said clothing becomes a highly durable armor that can block most attacks.
Class: 4
Item Type: Armor
Item Power (IP): 500
Offense Type: Physical
Durability: Double Ip
Bonuses: N/a
Drawbacks: Cannot wear more than one layer of Steel Silk.
Name: R-Siphon
Description: A tight-fitting, black leather glove with a small dial on the wrist, no larger than the face of a watch. Depending on the setting, this dial can draw in certain amounts of reiatsu from the area, not unlike a Quincy’s cross. While more reiatsu is drawn in, the user may find what they can do to be quite limited.
Type of Item: Tool
Class: 4
Item Power (IP): N/A
Offense Type: N/A
Durability: 100
Bonuses: This glove has three settings; 0%, 50%, and 100%. Changing this dial requires a quick second to do, which could potentially be an opening. At 0%, the glove is turned off, and comes with no unique effects. At 50%, the user regains 50 reiatsu + an additional 50 per class of this item above 5 every post, but the reiatsu cost of release techniques is doubled while this is set to 50%, and all release techniques and abilities (or equivalents thereof) function at half the user’s OS instead. At 100%, the user gains 100 reiatsu + an additional 100 reiatsu per class of this item above 5 every post, but the user cannot use their release while this glove is on 100%, as it will absorb the reiatsu released before the user can, well, release. If the user is in a released state upon turning the dial to 100%, they’re immediately forced out of it and suffer from light reiatsu burns with an OS equal to the amount of reiatsu they would’ve normally absorbed.
Drawbacks: Low item durability, high item cost, release is weakened or negated altogether based on the effect used at the time. This item cannot be used alongside a Quincy Cross or Spirit Fragment. Types or races that do not possess a release cannot make use of this item.
The small group of Shinigami had gathered and although they were just getting started actually learning about one another and likely what each of them could do to make sure this assignment went off without much trouble. They'd only have a small bit of time to continue speaking. One thing that all three of them should notice fairly quick though was a lack of staring. While moving through all the other districts the eyes of the poor would be locked on them, either out of wonder or anger, but they'd be watched all the same. Right now, though that instinctive sensation was not present.
There were no eyes looking at them from around corners or alleys. The district seemed almost completely abandoned. Although they would small nothing Tala would be the only one after a short bit of time to hear the sound of screams. Screams of terror coming from several blocks away down the street. If they pursue the group would come upon a large male huddled on the dirt ground leaning up against a wooden shake trembling like a small child. They'd have to try and figure out what was going on now and how this man was covered in blood.
Tala was glad to have support by not one but two of Squad Four's members although he figured that that meant he'd probably have the be the one to more actively engage any trouble they come across and while he was ready for that he surely wasn't as confident in his skills. He appreciated Gestalt's bit of humor as he'd introduced himself and was equally surprised to learn that he'd already knew his name. Then again he did hold a somewhat important position within his squad which he often forgot until times like these.
Once pleasantries and introductions were had Tala lead the group into the district. He was immediately aware and weary of the silence. Even during his time in the 42nd district, he avoided the 80th as often as he could, aware of how shady and ruthless some of the residents their could be however he become even more aware of their weariness towards Shinigami during his patrols throughout the four sections 80ths. The feeling of not having eyes peeking out at them, watching and tracking their movements was unnerving and had Tala on edge.
Then he caught the sounds of the scream, causing the color from Tala's face to drain and his gut to clench in on itself. He didn't even utter a word to the other two however as the adrenaline had started pumping into his system and he took off at a full sprint towards the screams, hoping that the other two would be following behind him and be able to keep up with him.
Once he arrived to the man's location, he'd skidded to a halt and immediately scan the surrounding vicinity with both his eyes and his scanner to see if there were any other people around as well as if the culprit might still be nearby. He'd also raise his hand and let out a pulse of reiatsu from his palm as he speaks the incantation for the spell he was casting, "Throw the pebble in the pond; ripple across the still waters, trace the boundaries, return. Bakudō number three: Sazanami."
Once Gestalt and Iroka arrived, if they'd even followed him that is, he'd quickly motion to the injured man on the ground, "One of you please attend to him and see if he's coherent enough to tell us anything." He then draws his katana as he focuses and concentrates on his ripples, waiting to see if that would return any kind of information of what was in the area.
Description: Sazanami is a particularly simplistic and straightforward Bakudō that at first seems to have no actual ability about it. When activated, this Bakudō sends a pulse of Reiatsu out in a spherical ripple from the user’s palm. This Reiatsu has no actual effect on anything, traveling until it reaches another object with some form of spiritual energy. Once it has done so, it bounces in the direction of its origin, giving an idea of the direction of any nearby active spiritual objects. This excludes environmental objects such as buildings within Soul Society, which do not possess an active spiritual energy. Such objects simply cause the rippling Reiatsu to stop without rebounding. When mastered, this technique can also be sent through objects, such as the ground or a building, rather than stopping upon impacting them. Additionally, mastery allows a constant ripple effect for the duration of a single post, regardless of incantation, that originates from its casting point. The range of this technique varies by the Reiatsu Strength of the user; for every 50 Reiatsu Strength the user has, this technique has a range of one hundred feet in radius. The ripples themselves travel at an astounding 4000 Speed. Due to its incredible speed and the thinned-out nature of the Reiatsu, the technique is undetectable to any but the user unless one actively knows that it is there.
How to Use: The technique’s user simply raises their hand and releases a pulse of Reiatsu. The incantation can be spoken before or after to release it.
Incantation: When the incantation is used, the Bakudo creates a continuous ripple effect for three posts using its initial casting point as an origin. The user can intercept reverberations from the technique even if they have moved, giving a continuous feed of the directions of active spiritual energy. (“Throw the pebble in the pond; ripple across the still waters, trace the boundaries, return.”)
Drawbacks: Despite its speed, this technique’s effects are minimal. The pulse of Reiatsu is useful for tracking a target’s position or revealing cloaked targets, but unless the incantation is used, the cost of repeated use adds up.

The next person who had been assigned to the mission arrived: a grey-haired fellow with interesting accessories to his uniform. Iroka had seen him before in the Fourth Division; he was a fellow squad mate. She had not interacted with him, though. Until now. As he introduced himself to Tala, Iroka lifted an eyebrow at the name with which he presented himself. It wasn't as if she had any issues against his name, but it just seemed mildly funny that he would choose such a name. Iroka wasn't complaining, though. He could be called whatever he chose to go by.
"Yes, you've seen me at the Yonbantai hospital," Iroka answered with a cheerful smile. "I'm Iroka. Pleased to meet you, Daddy. Please let's work well together!" He had called himself 'Daddy', hadn't he? Maybe he had many children... or something. Whichever the case, names really didn't matter. He seemed like a nice, responsible person, and in Iroka's opinion, such people were very easy to work with. The Shinigami called Tala seemed responsible as well. Despite being in the Third Division. Despite the initial reports Iroka had heard about the Sanbantai, there seemed to be many decent people there, if their captain was anything to go by.
As Tala led his group into the district, Iroka tried to keep her eyes and ears open, though she really didn't pick out anything. Everything seemed empty, as though there wasn't a single soul in the area. That was all rather weird. This sector was chaotic and dangerous, but it was populated. The fact that there seemed to be nobody around was rather unnerving. Where had everybody gone?
Suddenly, Tala rushed off, sprinting for an unknown location. Iroka followed as fast as she could, though he left her behind. Still, she managed not to lose sight of him, eventually catching up to the leader of this expedition, as she panted to catch her breath. And then she saw why he had broken into a run. There was a bloodied fellow, shaking and huddled up at a fence. Whatever had happened to him? Even as Tala asked someone to attend to him, Iroka was already kneeling beside the man, as she held out her hands towards him. Then she gently touched him, as she muttered, "I see your Achilles heel, your tie to the realm of nether! I see it, and I know how to cut it away! Kaido #1: Shindan Suru!"
As her wave of reiatsu surreptitiously flowed into the man's shaking form, Iroka tried to see what she could detect from the spell. If he was injured, she would attempt to heal him. She was skilled enough to generate a healing aura with which to deal with the man's wounds. If he was uninjured, however, and the blood had belonged to someone else, she would attempt to inform her colleagues of this. Hopefully Daddy would know a thing or two about calming people down. He was a daddy, after all!
{Tech Used} Technique Name: [Kaido #1: Shindan Suru (Diagnose)] Class: 7 Technique Type: Kido Technique Element: None Technique Description and Effects: Shindan Suru is a moderately weak kidou that is only good for diagnosing a persons injuries. The range at which you can use this kidou is as far as you can stretch your arms. To use this kidou you must be able to touch the person you are using it on. How to use technique: To use this kidou you must be touching the person you are using it on as before mentioned. First you place both your hands over the sternum of the person's chest from either the left or right of the body. Your hands will be placed side by side on the sternum. Then the user gathers reiatsu to their palms and focuses. They then send the reiatsu through the person's body like tendrils to search for any injuries both external and internal. Technique Drawbacks The drawbacks of this kidou are that you leave yourself completely vulnerable, because you have to focus on maintaining the reiatsu tendrils. Also this technique has absolutely no battle capabilities. Incantation and Effect: Extends the range at which this technique can be used by five meters. ("I see your Achilles heel, your tie to the realm of nether! I see it, and I know how to cut it away!")
Rushing to the scene of the screaming the shinigami wasted no time, Tala executing a kido in order to find out whether or not they were alone in the area and Iroke doing her best right away in order to find out whether or not the man who trembled like a baby was actually injured. Both of them would receive their answers just as fast, when the ripple of reiatsu that Tala sent back into just came back towards him from Iroke and Gestalt, but from further down the street as well. He would be able to tell only a couple seconds after casting his kido that there was someone else in the shack only about a hundred feet down the street. Iroke would find that the blood covering the man wasn’t his own, in fact he wasn’t hurt at all, but the muttering that continued from him would tell her he was under extreme mental distress.
Something had happened here that was horrific, something that scared this man so much his mind hadn’t been strong enough to handle it. “Run run run run away, get away, go away, big big big, run run run, bug.” Just these series of words constantly being muttered by the man. Then he looked into Iroke’s eyes and tears started to stream down his face. This wasn’t a typical guy, this was a resident of District Eighty, someone that was more than likely a hardened criminal, who wouldn’t have any issue attacking others yet he looked right now like nothing more than a scared boy glad to see someone else. “Please run, it’s too strong.”
The group of shinigami would have about thirty seconds to talk with one another afterwards, discuss what was going on and what to do about the situation before the thing that caused all this made itself known. Walking out from the shack was a large muscular looking Beast-clan, an insect with dark brown skin, no not skin, a shell. Short hair and big dead looking eyes would become visible as the cockroach Beast-clan turns in the street towards the ground of Shinigami.
It’d be at this point they would all be able to get a clear look at the Beast and see the head of a man held in its left hand. This Beast had been the thing to attack, killing at least one citizen of Rukongai, Tala would likely be the only one with knowledge about the Roaches of the wilderness though. Beast-clan that over the last few years had been killing innocents and shinigami alike with physical attributes that made them a bigger threat than even most Hollows. They wouldn’t have long, but what would they do with this information now?
Post by Satoshi Fuuko on Apr 11, 2023 14:43:01 GMT -5
"Nomibanji, Shukketsubuki!"
Fuuko dropped in front of the bug-like Beast clan and held out her arm. It was glowing with red light as the blood dripping fromt he severed head was sucked into Fuuko's zanpakutou. As the light faded, Fuuko was holding a red Spatha in her hand. The red pommel was facing towards the insect and the blade was pointed behind her. She looked up at the mighty beast with a grin in on her face. "Ok, ya big bastard, snack time's over!"
Fuuko had read the report about a squad heading out to investigate the eightieth district of Rukongai. It was the far edge of the Rukongai, where even the Shinigami didn't usually go. It was full of souls that had almost nothing, clothes, food, shelter, and turned to skullduggery and other depraved acts just to survive in the lawless part of Soul Society. There was usually no reason for shinigami to go out there, so if an entire group was being sent... Especially when Iroka was being sent. For the Yonbantai to be somewhere meant that there usually was already a problem that was being handled. Squad Four was rarely a proactive squad.
That made things even more suspicious. There had been no reports. So, why did Iroka need to go there? back up? That didn't sit well with Fuuko. She decided, shortly after Iroka departed, that it couldn't hurt for Fuuko to tag along. She caught a late start after taking care of things in the squad, like informing other squadmates where she would be going. Once everything was settled, she rushed after.
She was still a few steps behind when the group gathered and as she appeared, she felt the power of the bug man. She saw the horrible head hanging in its clutches and her stomach roiled. She saw the pleading man, burly and yet terrified. Her eyes narrowed. She didn't have time to tell the others that she was on the scene.
Once she was released and in front of the beast, Fuuko bent at the knees and lunged forward. She didn't know if she had the cutting power to cut through the hard carapace of the bug man, so as she swung, she called out and her blade hummed and sharpened as she swung at its torso. "River of Blood!"
{(Blood Collection (Small Area) 50)} Blood collection - Shukketsukubuki collects blood and stores it in a bank as a reiatsu pool that can be used to fuel other abilities. This manifests as a change in weapon size. When Shukketsukubuki is released, it passively collects any spilled blood (if any) in a small area (about 3x her arm's length) around Fuuko each post. This adds [15] Reiatsu to Shukketsukubuki's blood pool. Alternatively, Fuuko can concentrate and add [25] Reiatsu to Shukketsukubuki's blood pool or she can spend [50] Reiatsu to absorb all of the blood in a small area or [100] Reiatsu to absorb all the blood she can see into Shukketsukubuki.
{(血の川 Chi no kawa (River of Blood) (One Attack) 50)} 血の川 Chi no kawa (River of Blood): Fuuko can spend [50] reiatsu to infuse Shukketsubuki with reiatsu and that causes her next attack inflicted wound to bleed profusely, increasing the amount of Reiatsu that is absorbed into the blood pool by [1.5]. Alternatively, if she spends [100] Reiatsu per post, she can keep it up as an active ability.

It was strange to see that despite the fact that the man before her was covered in blood, it was not his own. On the one hand, this meant that he was not injured, which was a good thing. On the other hand, someone else was dead, because this much blood could not have been shed, and its owner still alive, unless that owner was not normal. In any case, if the man wasn't hurt, he would be able to tell them what had happened here... except that he did not seem in the proper frame of mind to be doing so much as talking. The words he muttered made little sense, though Iroka heard 'bug', and that worried her.
And then their eyes met, and the man began to cry. Whatever could move a hardened fellow, one who had toughed the roughest parts of Rukongai, to tears certainly had to be alarming. Iroka stared at him in confused distress, as the tears rolled freely down his face. His next words were coherent enough. There was something out there, something that was too strong. The man's tone of voice was pleading, as he asked them to run away. But running away was not an option. There was work to be done.
Gently, Iroka cupped the crying man's face in her hands and stared into his eyes, smiling softly. "You're safe now, it's alright," she said in a consoling voice. "If you can move, I'd like you to get as far away from here as possible. Although you're safe with me, I cannot guarantee that this area will remain safe for much longer. But I will try my best to protect you as well as I can, so please get away as far as you can. For your own safety."
Iroka was not confident enough to tell the crying man that she would certainly protect him. Whatever had broken him so was definitely something rather powerful. Iroka was not sure she was as tough as this fellow, so she didn't have high hopes of her being able to do anything reasonable against whatever had caused this. But she would have to try. Even if she wasn't sure of her words, she had said that she would try to keep him safe, so try she must. Resolutely, the orange-haired Shinigami turned her direction towards movement down the street.
Whatever resolve Iroka had managed to muster disappeared as soon as she saw what had just emerged from the shed some ways off. Not because it held the decapitated head of some poor sod in its chitinous left hand. But because it was a cockroach. As though whatever gods that governed fate had known that cockroaches freaked Iroka out to no end, they just had to arrange it such that it was a cockroach that was killing people in Rukongai. Iroka involuntarily retched in horror, upon sighting the beast, as she clamped a hand over her mouth, her heart beating rapidly.
And then Fuuko came. Even as the other Yonbantai Shinigami showed up and instantly released her zanpakutou, Iroka felt a surge of hope. As Fuuko was something of a close-range fighter, and hopefully was not squeamish around bugs, Iroka could draw back and provide cover fire. But she was not going to let her friend take on the cockroach alone. Even if she couldn't come close, she would still help out. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Hadou #33: Soukatsui!"
The blast was angled such that it would not run the risk of hitting Fuuko as well, and Iroka had waited to release the spell only when she saw the creature reacting to Fuuko's attack. That way, even if the spell somehow did not work on the cockroach, it would distract it enough for its own attacks to miss, or leave it open to another attack from Fuuko. But the Soukatsui was supposed to work. Cockroaches hated fire, didn't they? Well, there was only one way to find out.
{Tech Used} Hado #33: Sōkatsui Technique Name: Hado #33: Sōkatsui (Blue Fire, Crash Down) Class: 5 Technique Type: Kido Technique Element: Fire Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a more powerful version of Hado #31, releasing a fireball of blue flames that’s about half as large as an average person in size. The impact of this fireball leaves first-degree burns upon impact, and has more impact force than Hado #31. How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target. Incantation and Effect: “Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 20% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 120 with incantation).
Reiatsu strength taken at 144, due to incantation used.
Rushing in headlong was a typical sort of attack that the Roach had seen dozens of times over already, the only difference now was the speed at which Fuuko managed to come at it. A shinigami possessing speed not just vastly superior to the scum of the district, but the typical shinigami as well. Speed that would normally put her above virtually all the opponents dancing on the other side of her blade, yet the small circular eyes of Roach watched the approach. A swing of that red blade would find itself stopped for a moment as Roach's hand encloses around her wrist. Squeezing with its physical might, Roach would attempt to snap Fuuko’s wrist. Accomplishing that feat though proved to take more than an instinct as Fuuko’s superior physical strength pushes past the Roach’s, allowing her zanpakuto to press forward cutting through the shell of the Roach.
Fuuko would have to deal with the green blood of the Roach spraying outwards at her while feeling the resistance of the Roach’s shell. A slash to shallow allows the Roach to hop several feet backwards now giving its full attention to Fuuko before a blue source of flames clashes against its form. Fire strong enough that the ground beneath the Roach sizzles and the dirt itself burns yet the Roach simply turns and then vanishes. Appearing a moment later with its left hand moving forward in front of Iroka. Iroka had taken its attention away from Fuuko, but would she survive with its attention now on her. She’d have to do something before Roach's left hand reaches her face with the intent to snap her head backwards, breaking her neck.
