Charisma 1

{“Stoke the flames, Hestia.”}Hestia is, for the most part, still the same as before. However with Tala now able to completely seal Hestia, she has now given him a finer control of her abilities. As before, he is still able to control flames and heat that isn’t from other beings. She’s even allowed him to turn the flames that he takes control of, or is produced by her, into Greek Fire, letting it burn even when in contact with water. He can also take and control the heat from his own body to cool himself off or even to heat himself up, although this is very dangerous if not done carefully and in moderation. Her blades have stopped producing their own heat, however when they do have heat built up in them, they can still cut through metal and other materials quite cleanly and with ease. Flesh cut by these blades while they are heated will instantly burn and become cauterized on contact, which removes the worry of bleeding out but with the pain of being cut by super heated blades and the burns that would be associated.
Upon releasing Shikai, Hestia’s first and most prominent ability is that it can absorb ambient, non-organic heat into her blades. Hestia can absorb 10° worth of ambient Heat, as long as Tala spends a paragraph for each 10° focusing on gathering said Heat. This can be used to absorb and extinguish flames, which doubles the amount of Heat gained when small flames (5 feet or smaller) are absorbed, and quadruples for larger flames (15 feet or larger). When these heat based techniques clash with cold, ice, or water based techniques, the technique with the higher OS will lose a portion of its OS equal to half of the weaker techniques OS.
While there is no limit as to how much Heat that Hestia can hold at one time, there is a limit that Tala and others can withstand being near as her blades increase the surrounding temperature as Heat is built up. Without any type of Heat Resistance, those that are within 15 feet of her blades cannot stand being near after it has absorbed 40° of Heat. At Heat Resistance 2, this range is decreased to 10 feet and the threshold is up to 60°. At Heat Resistance 3, they cannot be within 5 feet of her blades while it has 80° of Heat. At Heat Resistance 4, they can be within touching range of her blades and can withstand the blades Heat while it has up to 100° built up. When the blades have built up 200° of Heat, all Heat Resistance is treated as one rank lower.
Those that stay within range of her blades, without the required Heat Resistance, start to suffer from exhaustion and dehydration as if they were to begin having a heat stroke and fatigue starts to set in much quicker. Additionally they’ll find that their stamina drains twice as quickly from speed techniques and other similar things. Someone with 50 Senses would be able to notice the heat emanating from her blades.
Another ability granted by Shikai is the ability to be able to sense all forms of heat, even those produced by other beings. This is treated as a sixth sense and scales with his Energy Sensory stat. At a base of 50 in his sense, the range at which he can sense heat starts in a 30 feet radius. For every 50 points he has in senses, it increases his sensing range by an additional 30 feet.

{”Ignite the darkness, Yūkyū no Seika.” 悠久の聖火 (Eternal Torch)}In Bankai, Yūkyū no Seika allows Tala to amplify release techniques, but at the detriment of making them more taxing to use. When amplification is used, the technique has it's OS increased by 5% and it's amplification cost by 10% for every 10 points of Heat built up. For every 50 points of Heat, Tala’s own Heat Resistance is treated as one point lower temporarily, making him more susceptible to the blade’s heat. The maximum amount of that this increase can reach is 200 points.
Whenever a released technique is amplified, the sphere of heat surrounding Yūkyū no Seika will increase in intensity so much that anything within a 15 foot radius will start to catch fire and spread, with the size of the fire being comparable to how much Heat has been built up. When 10 to 50 points of Heat has been built up, flames are low, staying close to the ground making the fire spread slowly, with minimal heat being produced. At 60 to 100 points, flames are a bit higher but only by a few inches so the fire spreads at moderate speed with moderate heat produced. Things get more intense once 110 to 150 points has been accumilated, with flames reaching up to 10 feet and are tough to avoid and see through as it spreads considerably faster. The heat coming from the fire has noticeably increased in temperature. The air also becomes very dry and hard to breathe. Once 160 to 200 points are stored, the maximum Heat that Tala can use, things become very extreme. The flames from the fires become extremely high, as they reach up to 30 feet. The flames are spreading at an extremely fast pace, with the heat from those flames being hot enough to burn everything it touches.
Yūkyū no Seika has also increased Tala’s pyrokinesis and now allows Tala to siphon from other heat or fire based powers that aren’t physical attacks. When attempting to absorb the heat from other techniques, the OS of the technique must be less than his own. When done, the technique loses 10% of its strength. This still requires focus and concentration to do, and Tala can only siphon Heat from one attack per post, however instead of 10°, he absorbs 50° worth of Heat.
Along with that, Tala is able to attempt to control flames and heat being influenced by another person’s reiatsu, essentially wrestling control of the flames from another fire user. In order to do so, a clash of will is to happen. If Tala’s OS is higher than that of the opponent’s, then the control goes to Tala. However if the opponent’s Class is higher than Tala’s or they are Class 0, then their flames stay under their control.

{Hearth Ignition}暖炉点火 - Danro Tenka

Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu
Description: Using the heated blades of Hestia, Tala can create waves or even blasts of heat with each attack or swing of his blades. When done in such a way, a wave of heat will be released from the blade at a speed of 800. Any flammable objects in its path or on the target will be set aflame. Once it hits its’ target, a small explosion surrounding a 5-foot radius is set off and leaves second degree burns on the target, if capable. Alternatively, Tala can spend another 100 reiatsu to remotely detonate the blast to similar effects. Either way, anything flammable caught in the explosion radius will catch on fire, including anything on the target's body, starting as small flames atop their clothes that can be quickly put out.
(Bankai Only) When amplified, the speed at which the heat wave travels is doubled.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost to activate and an additional 75 reiatsu to amplify. The burns inflicted and heat can be ignored and pushed through with at least 1 point in either Heat Resistance or Pain Tolerance.

{Flame Whip}炎の鞭 - Honō no Muchi

(Bankai Only) When amplified, the reach of the flames is increased to 30 feet.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost to activate and 75 reiatsu to amplify. Additionally these whips are only semi-physical, meaning they cannot be used to grab objects or opponents.

{Warmth’s Grace}温もりの恩寵 - Nukumori no Onchō

Description: One of Tala’s only defensive techniques born from his destructive powers, he can summon a barrier of swirling heat or embers around himself or even an ally, protecting them from both physical and reiatsu-based attacks. This barrier stays up until it is broken or Tala releases it and covers a 5 foot radius. When created, it has a durability equal to ½ of Tala’s OS. Tala can spend another 100 Reiatsu to move the barrier over to a new target.
Any attacks dealt to the barrier will deal it's full OS to it. Upon breaking, a small eruption will send all parties flying away from the point at which the barrier was currently centered, although no burns can be caused from this eruption.
(Bankai Only) When amplified, the barrier receives Tala’s full OS as its durability.
Drawbacks: Aside from reiatsu to activate and the 100 reiatsu to amplify it, the other drawbacks to this technique is that Tala can only summon and control one barrier per thread. Additionally, once summoned, it can’t be moved unless Tala chooses to, meaning whoever is inside the barrier can’t move either, nor send out any attacks.

{Scorching Winds}灼熱の風 - Shakunetsu no Kaze

Description: Tala begins to rapidly spin his zanpakutō above him, generating a swirling vortex of superheated air and possibly flames around him, acting both as an offensive and defensive maneuver, creating a fiery whirlwind with a 20-foot radius that can damage and repel enemies, burning anything caught in its path and deflecting projectiles of lesser class.
There is an inner safety area with a 5-foot radius centered on Tala so he doesn’t suffer the effects of the whirlwind. Anyone else caught outside of this area will start to burn, suffering from first degree burns upon entering or being caught in it which progresses in severity for each post spent in the area or if re-entered. To withstand the whirlwind and stay in it after each post, opponents must have points in Pain Tolerance or Heat resistance. (1 for 1 post, 2 for 2 post, 3 for 3 posts, 4 for 4 posts). After 4 posts, you must have a 4 in either skill and at least 1 in the other.
This whirlwind can be sustained after Tala stops spinning his zanpakutō as long as he spends 100 reiatsu each post.
(Bankai Only) When amplified, the radius increases to 30 feet, however Tala will lose his safe space.

Description: This technique is different from Tala’s other abilities as it needs to be set up to be utilized. To set up this technique, Tala must stab his blade into a point on the ground and concentrate on pooling the heat needed to use this technique five times, in a pentagonal formation with an area of about 15 feet. After the last point is made through this technique, he must then concentrate on connecting each pool of heat, which will then warm the soil and earth within the area.
Once this is done and Tala is then ready to activate this technique, the area within the pentagonal formation erupts with heat, causing second degree burns to anyone in it and flinging pieces of superheated earth in every direction. These pieces of superheated earth will cause anything they touch to burn and be set aflame.
(Bankai Only) When amplified, instead of simply causing the earth to explode and fling superheated chunks of earth, it will instead cause an eruption of molten lava in the area.
Drawbacks: Aside from reiatsu cost to use, it requires multiple uses to set up before it can be properly utilized. Additionally, in order to use the amplified effect, a reiatsu cost of 100 must be paid for each point.

{Eternal Combustion}永遠燃焼 - Eien Nenshō

This attack will instantly char the skin of any who come into contact with it.
Drawbacks: Beyond the high reiatsu costs, the first notable drawback of this technique is that it is the only technique that can not be amplified by Yūkyū no Seika. Additionally, Tala must spend time focusing on building up the heat for this attack, and upon unleashing it, will end up with third degree burns all across his arms, regardless of his Heat Resistance.

{Ocular Lens w/ Reiatsu Scan}Description: A contact-like lense that fits over the eye. Learned, Proficient, Mastered, Zanpakutō Techniques{Shunpo}Class: 7
Technique Type: Kidō
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique, the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from Point A to Point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move. Those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it for an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower. This requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become tired more easily in a shorter amount of time. A single step magnifies speed for that step by ten times. Shunpo uses fifty Reiatsu per step. This one is automatically learned in the academy. All Shinigami know this when created. This technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique: Focus of Reishi around the feet area and launch off into a single blurring step. It is not unlike teleportation in appearance, but it is simply extremely fast movement. It is often used to gain an edge in a single moment of combat or to dodge incoming attacks.{Bakudō #1: Sai (Restrain)}Class: 7
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects: Causes the target's arms to lock in place behind their back.
How to use technique: Physical contact is required from the hand of the caster to any part of the body of the target.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation increases the strength behind the technique by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength of 100 would instead be valued at 110 for this technique.) "Man, shaped by Divine hands, revert to the form before limbs, clutch at your own throat and be afraid."{Bakudō #3: Sazanami (Ripple)}Class: 7
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō
Usable By: Kidō-users
Technique Element: Spirit
Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu
Description: Sazanami is a particularly simplistic and straightforward Bakudō that at first seems to have no actual ability about it. When activated, this Bakudō sends a pulse of Reiatsu out in a spherical ripple from the user’s palm. This Reiatsu has no actual effect on anything, traveling until it reaches another object with some form of spiritual energy. Once it has done so, it bounces in the direction of its origin, giving an idea of the direction of any nearby active spiritual objects. This excludes environmental objects such as buildings within Soul Society, which do not possess an active spiritual energy. Such objects simply cause the rippling Reiatsu to stop without rebounding. When mastered, this technique can also be sent through objects, such as the ground or a building, rather than stopping upon impacting them. Additionally, mastery allows a constant ripple effect for the duration of a single post, regardless of incantation, that originates from its casting point. The range of this technique varies by the Reiatsu Strength of the user; for every 50 Reiatsu Strength the user has, this technique has a range of one hundred feet in radius. The ripples themselves travel at an astounding 4000 Speed. Due to its incredible speed and the thinned-out nature of the Reiatsu, the technique is undetectable to any but the user unless one actively knows that it is there.
How to Use: The technique’s user simply raises their hand and releases a pulse of Reiatsu. The incantation can be spoken before or after to release it.
Incantation: When the incantation is used, the Bakudo creates a continuous ripple effect for three posts using its initial casting point as an origin. The user can intercept reverberations from the technique even if they have moved, giving a continuous feed of the directions of active spiritual energy. (“Throw the pebble in the pond; ripple across the still waters, trace the boundaries, return.”)
Drawbacks: Despite its speed, this technique’s effects are minimal. The pulse of Reiatsu is useful for tracking a target’s position or revealing cloaked targets, but unless the incantation is used, the cost of repeated use adds up.

Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects: Creates a small round shield of typically orange reiatsu along the user's wrist, not unlike small shields used with broad swords. Typically useless against Kido, this shield repulses low level physical strikes, and sends electricity back into the attacker to result in low level paralysis and temporary numbness.
How to use technique: Can be instantaneously cast, but is very brittle and weak without incantation and name being spoken. Lasts only mere seconds upon creation, and paralysis does not work on those with superior spiritual strength.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation allows shield to last up to twenty seconds at any one time, and increases its strength by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength valued at 100 would instead be worth 110.) "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then seize your own throat!"{Bakudō #39: Enkosen (Arc Shield)}Class: 5
Technique Type: Kidō - Bakudō
Usable By: Kidō-users
Technique Element: N/A
Technique Cost: 100 Reiatsu
Description: A medium sized round shield fashioned from yellow, condensed spiritual energy instantly forms on the caster's wrist. This is not unlike Seki, however it does not paralyze, it only blocks. This can be used on low level physical strikes and low level Kido-like spells.
How to Use: Instantaneous cast which requires either thought of it, verbal speaking of the technique, or an incantation
Incantation: The size of the shield is tripled, though the duration is halved, for use of incantation. Incantation unknown.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost
Made By: Unknown
Reserved?: No{Combat Cutback}Class: 4
Technique Type: Reiatsu
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Anyone with 300+ SpPr
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: Persons with high spiritual pressure are known for their large reiatsu pools, but they also tend to be known for their weaker reiatsu strength, which means they have a ton of reiatsu, but not that much to actually use it on. This techniques entire purpose is to take that sheer volume of reiatsu and turn it into a viable, dangerous weapon.
The user builds up a pool of reiatsu internally, increasing the internal pressure, before channeling it towards a set of limbs, such as the hands or feet, discharging it as a weapon. By doing this the user can harness their reiatsu into physical striking power, allowing them to match a physically stronger opponent blow for blow, or possibly even beat them. Upon initial use the user pays 75 reiatsu per 100 strength, maxing out at their spiritual pressure, but afterwards the per post upkeep drops to 25 per 100. The amount of force generated can be changed once per post, going down merely drops the upkeep, but going up, the user must pay the initial upkeep as well as an additional 75 reiatsu for every 100 strength they add to the technique.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Building up internal reiatsu before focusing it on a set of limbs such as hand hands or feet (or other applicable appendage like a tail). Before mastery of this technique only a single limb, such as one hand or foot, may be selected at a given moment, after master is obtained both may be used at once.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc): Besides a fairly large initial cost and a moderate per post upkeep this technique only has one major drawback; reiatsu burns. When using this technique the user is forcing a large amount of reiatsu to be funneled through a relatively small area, so extended use can be dangerous. 1st degree burns begin to form after about 3 posts, 2nd degree after 5, 3rd after 7, and finally after 9 posts the chosen limb becomes borderline useless and the technique can no longer be used in that area. Healing, specifically of the burns, will reset the timer of this technique.

Description: Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection from all sides, holding them in place. This technique also results in total paralysis, and can even suspend targets in mid-air.
How to Use: This requires the user's eyes to be focused on the target, and their casting hand to be aimed at the target as well. The six beams will then close in, but those who are quick enough or instinctive enough will be able to dodge.
Incantation: The incantation increases the reiatsu strength of this technique by 25%. (I.E. Reiatsu strength of 100 is instead worth 125.) ("Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!")

The maximum amount of that this increase can reach is 200 points.Techniques:
However if the opponent’s Class is higher than Tala’s or they are Class 0, then their flames stay under their control.{Scorching Winds}灼熱の風 - Shakunetsu no Kaze
Technique Stages: Bankai
Technique Cost: 300 Reiatsu
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost to activate as well as to sustain, and 150 reiatsu cost to amplify.{Earthen Heat}土の熱 - Tsuchi no Netsu
Technique Stages: Bankai
Technique Cost: 200 Reiatsu
Additionally, in order to use the amplified effect, a reiatsu cost of 100 must be paid for each point.{Eternal Combustion}永遠燃焼 - Eien Nenshō
Technique Stages: Bankai
Technique Cost: 750 Reiatsu
Description: Tala can unleash all the stored heat within the Eternal Torch, creating a massive inferno that covers a 150-foot dome and is centered on Tala himself, traveling at a speed of 1600, leaving behind rapidly spreading fires in its wake. This attack will instantly char the skin of any who come into contact with it.
Drawbacks: Beyond the high reiatsu costs, the first notable drawback of this technique is that it is the only technique that can not be amplified by Yūkyū no Seika. Additionally, Tala must spend time focusing on building up the heat for this attack, and upon unleashing it, will end up with third degree burns all across his arms, regardless of his Heat Resistance.Items{Ocular Lens w/ Reiatsu Scan}Description: A contact-like lense that fits over the eye. This is a powerful recording device, that allows the user to instantly record everything that they see while wearing it, allowing for more efficient reconnaissance even if the user is killed, as all data recorded with it is sent via live feed to Squad 12's archives. In addition to this, the Ocular Lens may have any of the following "visions" added for no extra cost: Reiatsu scan (Allows the user to judge the approximate strength of the target's reiatsu for those with lower ES), Night Vision, Infrared and Binocular. Only one vision type may be selected with the Ocular Lens which is specified upon purchase.
