We're Going on a Bug Hunt (Medium-DP)

When Connor simply gazed at Angel, she simply stared back before moving on ahead, only stopping briefly at the introduction of the second Vice Captain of the day, Yetsuna Yishnir. Well known for her temperament and her powerful Shikai, Angel proceeded to burn out that cigarette before she gazed upon the woman in question, and about the manner of vices. Bowing her head politely, the only skilled Kido caster among the group would proceed to gaze up with her coal black eyes into the superior's gaze. "Hai Fukutaicho. I'll refrain from smoking again until after our job is done." With a deep sigh of the last lungful of smoke, she proceeded to simply follow along.

Focused on the road ahead, she slowly found their chances having improved quite a bit more. Two Vice Captains out of the thirteen was certainly a boon, and it might actually have them stand a chance better than previously. "If I may recommend. If possible...I do believe the most suitable location to fight the beasts in would be a clearing. Last I recall, they excelled at fighting in close quarters, and I can't say I boast much confidence in my sword skills." She was of course being humble in that regard. She'd been in a couple of scuffles, and she'd in terms of a sword fight was able to match the now third seat Kaen Youji in terms of a clash of swords.

Still, he was a terrifying man, and an even more terrifying martial artist. Keeping the task at hand on focus though, she'd look briefly to the Vice Captain of the third division. "Would you happen to know of any clearings and or odd activity that's been happening in the wilderness? The last I had seen these beasts was somewhat inward of the Rukon districts. While I don't know what their actual intention was, or their reasoning for doing so, they slaughtered every non beast that they encountered. A terrifying venture." Not entirely sure if they understood the severity of what she was talking about, dozens of plus lay dead before the might of a single beast, and last she recalled, there was not one but at least three of the creatures previously.

She'd only been able to superficially harm one at the time as well. Hrm...disgusting.

'Shit. Shit. Shit.' Was the constant chant of curses within her mind as Ilya briskly made her way to the assigned meeting point of the patrol. Only a few days prior, her captain had informed her that she would be representing Squad 6 in this patrol, and her primary objectives were to gather information about the growing threat of insectoid beasts along the outskirts of the Rukongai districts. As such, she would be accompanying the team being sent out today.

Problem was, she was late.

As she arrived at the designated spot, a small shack, she peered inside to find it empty. A soft, barked curse later, she was turned around, looking for signs of travel. She spotted somewhat of a trail through the patchy grass, opening up her senses to confirm it. The energy trail was faint obviously, but more recent than anything else. Satisfied, she began to briskly follow the trail, hoping to catch up with the team she had been assigned to. It took hours, actually. Hours of tracking the squad, as well as pausing here and there to take note of the environment. Despite being assigned to this patrol, her primary directive from her captain was to gather intel. So, after several hours, her icy blue eyes finally picked up the squad in-front of her, still quite a distance away. She softly cleared her throat, before her lips curled into somewhat of an O-shape. A low whistle sounded, something that could easily be mistaken for a bird call by any who were not paying attention, low in volume so it would not carry too far in to the distance. The objective of the whistle was to notify the squad ahead that she was approaching.

She then approached, taking a minute or two to close the rest of the distance. Her blue eyes flickered to all the members in the party; A very tall shinigami wearing layers of clothing, with a blank mask on his face, A black haired female who smelled faintly of burning tobacco, a short blonde person, a woman with a very peculiar, somewhat impractical looking outfit, and a large, cloaked figure who Ilya supposed was the leader of the expedition. She stopped in front of them, bowing her head slightly but stiffly to the assumed leader as she spoke, her voice carrying the slightest hint of a slavic accent, "Apologies for my delay. Ilya Argentum, Squad 6 Third Seat. I've been assigned to your squad for assistance but primarily reconnaissance and gathering of information that would benefit Squad 6."

Ilya's mattle black hair barely moved as she straightened up again, her icy gaze assuming somewhat of a studious frown as she inspected her companions again. They all seemed to be from different Squads. Curiousity and interest mingled in her gaze as she gave all of them a few seconds worth of visual inspection before returning her gaze to the massive leader. She brought her arms in front of her, absently pulling tight on the leathers on her right and left hand as she spoke once more, "With your permission, I would like to maintain a rear scout to make sure we are not being followed, as well as to study any points of interest I find." Her tone was neutral, the tone she always adapted when dealing with someone who had been assigned her superior... Unless they proved to be arrogant, in which case her tone would drastically change. Her objective also wasn't the only reason to ask to be stationed as a rear guard, but also because she was better suited to be in a flanking position than in the main fray. Tactically, being within the main group meant there was a higher chance of being surrounded. She could utilize all of her abilities better if she had a distance to move and cover.

Yetsuna was about to answer Angel's question when she heard a sound off in the distance, a bird call. Considering the forest had been fairly quiet the sound struck her as odd, so instinctively she turned her head to where she heard the sound coming from and it turned out her gut was right. The call wasn't a real bird, it was some girl a few dozen yards off, "Really? she thought to herself resisting the urge to face palm, "A bird call?" To her the act seemed a bit over the top, like out of a bad spy movie or something, but thinking about it she figured it was probably better than her yelling at the top of her voice,still the entire act seemed unneeded. It would take a moment for the girl to reach them so she turned back to Angel, "Not really, but if you really need one it wouldn't take much effort for me to clear a field when if a fight breaks out." 

A minute or so later the new girl walked up and introduced herself and briefed her mission causing Yetsuna to sigh, "Jesus you new kids are waaaaaaaaaaay to formal for my tastes, can we take the sticks out of your asses please?" she said referring namely to Angel and Ilya, "If we're gonna be out here for a week I'd like to be able to talk normal human beings," she paused for a moment realizing what she said didn't exactly work as a statement with her current company, "You know what I mean. Anyway, Gva this is your show so it's your call where you wanna put people, I can go wherever you need me to."

He had been expecting the scouting party to arrive on time and yet that hadn't been the case and so he had set off with just two others yet now as time continued to go on throughout the day more and more of the unit were arriving. Even some shinigami such as Yetsuna who weren't assigned to the party. At this point if any more sought the party out they could run into the serious problem of becoming to large to stay hidden.

Now with the new addition of Argentum Ilya another high ranking shinigami this time from the Sixth Division the party was at the maximum size that Gva could handle as it's leader. He could tell with a single glance that while they were less than experienced in battle they did possess enough talent to be useful should the need arise. So Gva nodded his head in acceptance. "You may stay in the back. Not to far though fifty feet at most. Otherwise you risk being attacked with us noticing. The priority is still to locate the. . " Gva would suddenly stop speaking and his head although still concealed beneath the hood would turn up towards the sky off in the distance.

"Something's coming fast." Gva said almost like a warning to everyone around him. It would only take a moment enough time for everyone to gaze up in the same direction and see a massive boulder flying through the air straight towards the ground. The boulder was easily twenty feet in size enough to crush anyone of them easily. It was increasing in speed as it came right towards them all. Gva was sure that some of them would be ready to stop it while others would use shunpo to put some distance between them. He though had a different idea.

The ground would crack and everyone in the party would feel almost like something was pushing down on them. Gva suddenly jumped right towards the boulder. He was a mindless warrior brute or at least that's what most shinigami would assume as he was a seated officer of Division Eleven. Gva though had been picked as the party leader by the Vice Captain of the Eleventh Division, Tsukuyomi Kawada because he was like the Vice Captain. He could think clearly in combat and know when to use his full strength and when to wait and plan to the situation.

Instead of smashing the boulder like many would more than likely assume Gva slammed into it with his hands grabbing hold of it allowing the boulder's force to impact his entire body. Over the course of the next few moments Gva slowed the boulder until both he and it dropped to the ground several hundred meters in the distance ahead of the party. If nothing else everyone had just seen a glimpse of how strong the party leader was. Once the group would reach Gva and the boulder which now was sat on the grassy ground Gva would turn. "Something had thrown this from a considerable distance. We're going to investigate without question. First though everyone look over it and see if we can't find out anything first."

Gva didn't know about anything on the boulder himself, but if the others looked closely enough perhaps they would be able to find the little clues on it's surface. One such clue was barely visible blood on the boulder although it wouldn't look like blood as it was blue in coloration. The boulder also had large and small cuts all over it's surface yet puncture holes as well that looked like a pencil had managed to stab into it somehow. What else could they find on it and what would they presume about who threw it?

Ultimately, she could also tell the boulder was coming, and there was only so much that could be done on that issue as she had taken the liberty to stand, stand as the sky was suddenly blotted out with darkness as that gigantic rock blew towards them, and with it, she simply looked on ahead, her right hand raising, but pausing at the sudden launch and motion of another individual. Gba as it seemed was going to deal with it, and with that sudden declaration, she paused, ceased, and stood where she was as the rock pushed the man, sent him skidding hundreds of meters back, and if he were a more normal Shinigami, likely breaking both of his arms from the sudden impact strain. Really, she wasn’t afraid of some rock. No.

She didn’t know why he’d bother to give a fuck about the rock instead of moving out of the way, but that wasn’t any of her business was it? Sure, she cared about her teammates, but not when they did something as bold and or as stupid as that. Typically, it meant that they were capable of taking care of themselves, and or they had some form of suicidal death wish typically. Hikari Nisei simply raised her arms to defend herself from the splinters of raining wood as she took the notion that the threat she was looking for was relatively close. It was time then. Her right hand raised the swordguard of her standard katana, her left hand swiftly grasping the handle and drawing the three foot long katana blade. “Ugh...fuck.”

How she would have loved another cigarette, to caress her lungs with the foul substance that apparently killed people, not that she particularly cared in that regard. She instead looked on ahead, where she had the inkling feeling that danger was starting to approach. “Ye lord. Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens…” She focused her reiatsu as she took in that energy, prepared it, and immediately took the front as the experienced rearguard, focusing as she waited for the group to press forward once more in formation, her eyes ever so focused on the potential enemies ahead. She had an instinct that told her.

This rock flying their way wasn’t a coincidence, and they were going to be under attack in a moment or two. Her power focused as she disregarded for a moment the positions of her other allies. They were all seated officers, which meant they were typically able to take care of themselves. She ought to do the same. Where were they at? She was completely focused, on guard at this point, and just looking for a target of which to strike, looking up along the tree she stood at to make sure they weren’t clinging to the higher elevated areas of the wood. There was nothing that wasn't possible right now. Especially considering the fact the Wilderness was full of things that just wanted to fucking kill you all the time.

So many new people showing up. It was astounding to Connor, who just idly marched on with the rest of them, content with simply staying silent on the matter. It did not matter, so long as the mission was completed in a satisfactory manner. Personally, it seemed excessive to have this many people, but if it were that serious a situation, he would refrain from complaining about it. That, and it would mean less work for him to do, so overall the pros and cons broke even with him. Still, this was one heck of a distance they were traveling.

And then a giant boulder flew right at their group. Eye widening at the randomness of it, he threw himself to the side to avoid the gruesome fate of being crushed to death via rock. Luckily it was not needed, as the leader, Gva, stopped it with his bare hands. An impressive feat for anyone. He quickly got back to his feet, drawing his blade for the first time in awhile. It still felt unnatural to him, as if the sword was fighting against him. Maybe obtaining Shikai would help with that. Thoughts for later, now he was potentially under the threat of imminent combat.

While Ilya was giving a cursory inspection to her current group mates, the strangely dressed woman spoke up with a snarky remark and Ilya instantly scowled, fixing an icy glare at the woman. Apparently she didn't get the difference between standard procedure based on rank and mixed it with general personality. She could definitely give the girl a piece of her general personality, however.
"I can give you something to stick up your ass if you're feeling left out." She snarled back with no lack of annoyance in both her voice and eyes, barely any other motion in her body stance other than a slight tensing of her shoulders. She didn't hate the girl, she didn't know her long enough to do so. But, Ilya responded aggressively when someone wasn't to her liking. This was one of those times. She continued her glare at the girl, meeting the girl's eyes if she were to look back at Ilya and refusing to break her stare until the other girl looked away.

Her glare, however, was broken when their leader, who was responding to her request to be the rear scout, suddenly stopped mid sentence and muttered the warning. Nigh instantly, Ilya's head whipped up to the more important matter, her eyes scouring the sky to find the projectile. It wasn't hard, given the size and speed of it. She tensed, her muscles coiling as she prepared to jump off to the side to dodge the projectile when it came close. However, it seemed as that was not needed as the leader jumped right at the boulder. Was the man insane? Ilya's eyes widened slightly as she followed the leader's progress until he met with the boulder, seeming to... Grab it?
Her muscles relaxed as she straightened up again, watching the man bring the boulder down to earth after halting it's descent, a bit of a distance away. She couldn't help but raise her eyebrows at that display of strength, thoroughly impressed, which was definitely a hard thing for someone to accomplish when it came to Ilya. She shook off her momentary surprise and began to walk at a brisk pace, passing her comrades without a glance as she made her way to where the leader set down the boulder. She didn't wait to see if her comrades would follow, but assumed they would.

Once she, and the few that followed, reached the boulder, Gva gave further instructions. Her gaze shifted to the boulder. Her captain would definitely want reports of this. She brought out the small notepad she carried within her sash, pulling out the pencil on it's top and walked around the boulder, giving it a thorough but quick inspection. It looked less like a solid boulder and more like a porous rock, given the texture... Was that natural or caused? She brushed her left fingertips on the boulder's surface, feeling the small dips and rises. Despite all rocks generally having such a surface, there were parts of it which felt... unnatural. Almost like someone took a blade to the surface and slashed across it, leaving sharp dips in certain parts, long straight ones. Definitely not natural. She didn't spot anything else of note as she walked around it, but then she found a weird stain on it. She crouched down onto one knee, inspecting the blue coloration. It seemed to be a liquid sticking to the surface, almost dried? She picked up a nearby rock off the ground and gently scraped some of the blue liquid onto the rock, not willing to touch it and risk poison or corrosion. She stayed crouched, jotting down quick notes onto her notepad before she stood back up, inspecting the blue liquid on the rock she had and brought it forward to her group.

"There are furrows on the surface of the boulder, like someone or something decided to start hacking away at it... Or clawing at it. I also found this liquid stuck near the bottom of the boulder. No idea what it is and I'd advise not to touch it unless you want to risk your fingers." She said, looking around at her group with a small frown. She wasn't angry or annoyed, but frowning or scowling was simply what she usually always had on her face. She would offer the rock with the liquid on it to anyone who wanted to inspect it, but if no one wanted it or everyone was done, she would tear off two blank pages from her notepad, use them to cover the the small rock completely before securing it within her sash.

This wasn't good even though it had only just happened the giant boulder flying through the sky with so much force that Gva actually had thought for a moment that he may not be able to handle the force behind it. Now that the boulder and him were back on the ground though he couldn't keep himself from starring off towards the direction that the boulder had come from. He had told everyone a few moments ago that they should look over the boulder just in case there was any clue for what could have thrown it. He wasn't going to wait long whether there happened to be a clue or not.

Ilya was fast to look over the boulder finding a few different clues as to what may have thrown the boulder or what could be going on at the location that the boulder came flying from. Gva listened to the findings about how the boulder appeared to have many different gashes on its surface and then blood liquid on it. Gva would look from beneath the darkness of his hood at the liquid. "Looks like dried blood." Gva was still thinking over what to do next as he did he looked around seeing everyone else and how they were responding.

"Alright I'm going to go and see what's going on over there. Anyone is welcome to accompany me, but the assignment still takes priority. Should anyone wish to continue onwards speak now." Gva was honest not believing in lies. He was going to go find out what was going on, but should anyone else wish to keep scouting he would allow it likely shifting command over to Yetsuna while he was disconnected from the rest of them.

(Alright guys this next part is really up to you. You're free to either have your character continue scouting the wilderness to potentially find something different or you can accompany Gva to the location of the boulder and find out what is going on over there. Connor had been surprised by the bolder at first, but once it became clear that nothing was following it, he relaxed. The bolder was just a rock, albeit one with blood on it. Dried, if the words of Gva were anything to go by. The Soul Reaper placed his sword back in its scabbard, knowing that there was no immediate threat in the area. The enemy knew where they were though, so that was disconcerting. Judging from the fact they threw a bolder at us either means they were trying to kill us, not knowing our numbers, a warning to make us leave, or both.

Connor was going with the both option, choosing to remain cautious, resting his hand on the hilt of his still unnamed sword. The stubborn hunk of scrap. Gva spoke further, and what he said confused him. He was giving them a choice on whether or not to follow him? Was this a joke? What kind of leader let his group do what they wanted like this? Connor felt his respect for the man begin to dwindle the more he spoke. Even still, he would follow the man. Why? Not because he had to, but to get this mission over with, and just in case the man failed... Connor would be there.

Gva had wanted long enough for a response from the others in the group. Taking off through the use of Shunpo the massive cloaked figure vanished off to figure out just where that boulder had come from and what was going on at that location. It only took a few minutes, but what he arrived to was a scene out of perhaps the worst case scenario playbook. Another scouting party of shinigami was currently engaged in combat against what looked like a Bear Beast-Clan.

The Beast was wounded heavily with at least half a dozen cuts across her body while her cubs could be seen huddled together against a tree behind their mother. Keeping his cool was difficult yet Gva scanned the area briefly and saw that it seemed this group had already come across perhaps what all of them had been sent to find. There were three separate bodies of what looked like insect beasts fitting the description. "What's going on here!" Gva shouted his loud booming voice carrying over the flat landscape.

The shinigami kept up their battle stances yet attacking wasn't going to happen now as most turned to look at him. One of the shinigami a tall muscular man almost the same height as Gva with short black hair who looked very rugged and unfriendly. He was a member of Division Eleven the same as Gva yet didn't show respect to the seated officer. He was clearly one of the thuggish members of the war division. "We're just cleaning up the area, sir. Can't ya see these creatures just so happened to have already killed what we were looking for and wouldn't hand them over."

Angel ultimately just sighed, dropping her pose as it seemed that no danger was to arrive, but ultimately was bothered by how...simple this mission was so far. That was until she had followed Gva to come across a site of Beast Clan members combating several Shinigami of the Seireitei. Tilting her head at the apparent assault, Angel could sense the sarcasm in the words of this nameless Shinigami, the lack of respect for obvious authority in rank, rank that was hard earned and to be known. Stepping forward with a simple neutral expression on her face, the spiritual pressure in the area began to rise, gravitational pressure as it would grow with every passing step. "Is that so?..." At those words, she continued walking ahead.

"Know your place you gnat..." She'd speak with obvious disdain as those too weak around her would feel the pressure bearing down on them, pushing them, onto the floor at that if they didn't exert a higher amount of spiritual pressure to stop such. Her Katana still in hand, she looked over the dead corpses, acknowledging that they indeed were the corpses of the beastmen like insects she had met previously, and with it, she looked ahead to the more primitive beings of the area. "These men to my side, they are nothing but fools and idiots. Soon to be dead ones if they decide to do anything further to disturb you or our mission. My apologies for the daftness of the members of Squad Eleven." 

"If I may inquire of you...tell me about these beast creatures that you've encountered here, and we will leave you at peace, and will not return again. You have my word. And if I ever hear of our presence in this region again, assaulting you and your people, well then..." In a bone chilling voice, she spoke. "I'll kill them." A simple set of words, and yet with heavy meaning, even as her pressure washed over Connor Reaves and these unseated officers. Insubordination was something that wasn't acceptable, and there was nothing new about a dead Shinigami. Shinigami died every day. They were replaced every day. They, much like everyone in Soul Society was an expendable little thing. She knew.

People were given up all the time as noteworthy sacrifices for goals and ambitions. Just like she was. Only after acknowledgement would she release those fools from her pressure, not even looking at the man Gva as she spoke. "You will order these men back to Seireitei. Or else I'll stay true to my word, and every single one of those men will die if they refuse your order. Take control of your men, or I will." She spoke with authority, power in her voice, and a coldness that demanded nothing less than a, "Yes mam." Gradually would she look to sheath her blade, her youthful appearance perhaps making her look like a less fearful threat. However, there was something about Hikari Nisei...or perhaps Kuchiki to those that knew of her. Looks could be and often were misleading.

Ilya silently studied their surrounding area as the rest of their group mulled over these developments. Her icy eyes flickered across the treeline, looking for any signs of disturbance. She had found no sign of anything that required immediate attention by the time their leader took off, expecting them to follow. Ilya met the expectation, waiting for the others to follow the leader first before herself being the last one to follow through, coming to a halt a small distance away to the back of the group. Given the circumstances, they wouldn't need a rear scout anymore, so Ilya didn't stray too far from the group. However, she remained at the back, perhaps ten to twelve feet away from the group, observing the situation with a cursory glance before shifting her attention, letting the others deal with this. She would more likely start bashing some noses in than defuse the situation with words. She hated sadists with a passion, especially scum like these eleven division members they were now confronting.

She realized she still didn't know the names of any of her squad mates, but figured it didn't really matter at this point. Her eyes scanned the surrounding area, just in case any foe still lingered in waiting, before walking over to one of the insectoid corpses littering the area. She pulled out her sword in a fluid motion as she approached one, stopping before it for a few seconds before sending a controlled thrust down into the thorax of the corpse in front of her, her zanpakutou's blade sliding effortlessly into the corpse with the small crunching sound of metal meeting flesh. She waited a second with her blade thrust in for any reaction, before pulling it out, the very picture of cold efficiency. After which, she walked over to the next corpse, proceeding to repeat the same action, doing so a third and final time with the third and final corpse. After making sure the corpses were all dead, she flicked the blood off her sword in a practiced swish, before sheathing her blade and crouching down next to the corpse. She began to inspect it, making notes of it in her notepad to document and report to her Captain later on, all the while half-paying attention to what her group members were doing, just in case they required her.

(OOC: Sorry, RL has been hell. My response is picking up from my last one for anyone needing context, doing so because there's an interaction I wanted  to have there)

Yetsuna's eyebrow cocked up in interest in response to Ilya's rebuttal, she honestly had mixed feelings about it. On one hand she actually kinda liked the response she also liked that they were willing to use it even though she was a superior officer of a different division, but she didn't really much care for the tone that went with it, she got a "holier than thou" vibe from it.  She could see the aggressiveness her eyes and body language, "Appreciate the offer, but stuffing things up there makes me stiff and I need full mobility in combat. I recommend you get that chip off your shoulder though, gonna be hard to fight carrying that extra weight around." Yetsuna's voice was warm, but threatening, almost inviting Ilya to act on that aggressive impulse in her eye. 

Wouldn't end well if she did though.

She had no real plan to injure the girl, at least severely, it was more meant to be a teachable moment about picking fights, especially pointless and dumb ones, with someone who could put you in the ground with minimal effort......literally. She'd hold the eyelock with the girl for no other reason then she knew it would spin her up; if she wanted a contest of wills she could have one, "If we keep this up I'm gonna start to think you might kiss me," she prodded, again knowing it would likely just spin her up. Their contest would be cut short however, by a giant flying stone. She almost could have laughed at the attack.
 
The blonde was about to release when Gva, slightly faster then herself, probably because he was the first one to see it, jumped up to catch it and force it to a halt a short ways off. She would make her way towards the landing area to find their leader, she expected him to be fine, he was a brute of a man and didn't expect him to have really had any issues dealing with the stone, though she was "fairly" confident she could have handled it with less effort.

They all arrived at the stone, each inspecting it to see what they could glean from it and other then some odd markings and semi-dried blue blood there wasn't much. The large man gave them an option of what they wanted to do next, but everyone seemed to wordlessly agree that going to see where the attack came from was likely the best choice, so they all took off. They all left in a burst of wind as they eash used a shunpo.

The group arrived to find some insect creatures already slain and a bear-type clansman, a female with kids at that, duking it out with some squad 11 guys. One of was blasé in their response to Gva which caused the smoking girl to spin up, and fairly quickly at that (and not that she wanted her to, but where was this reaction a minute ago with Ilya?). Angel flared her spiritual pressure in an effort to seem impressive and threatening. She started to speak, but shortly before she could finish calling them "gnats" there would be a fist buried in her back, between her shoulder blades, likely causing the girl to stumble, if not fall, and making her break the gravitational pressure. It was also likely gonna smart just a bit.  "Stop that," she said flatly, "You'll squish the kid with that," referring to Conner not knowing his name. 

With the short tempered smoker's idiotic dick waving display halted she looked up to the squad 11 guys and the clansman, based on their disposition she was fairly sure there was more than what he was claiming. Her look had one that told no one to move unless they wanted to find themselves on the other end of her fist, she looked to the mother first, gut instinct told her she was likely a victim, "You talk at all?" her voice was non threatening as she addressed her, assuming she could she'd continue, "What happened here?"

Out of the corner of her eye she saw Ilya coup de gracing all the insect creatures before scribbling down some notes, jesus there were some weird people on this mission.

This was by no stretch a good thing. Even though the group had somehow already come across the remains of the Beasts that Soul Society was seeking. They couldn't overlook the fact that these Shinigami had apparently gone out of their way to attack the other Beasts as well. This wasn't something that they had never been given permission to do nor was it something that most Divisions would allow.

Beasts were typically powerful entities that could easily become another dangerous foe to Soul Society. Now this small group could very well have almost started another front to this endless war between spiritual races. Angel had approached and while she was on the up and coming list of skilled Shinigami for sure the man gave no ground. None of them knew it quite yet, but he had managed to eliminate the targets and inflict most of the wounds upon the other Beasts alone.

The rest of the small group didn't have anyone impressive although it didn't have anyone unacceptable either they all just were . . . well average. Threatening the man brought a vein to reveal itself across the man's forehead. "You little bitch. I know my place. You on the other hand should get back to the bedroom I'll be back there shortly to really show you where you belong." Licking his lips hungrily making it all to obvious what he was thinking about as he looked Angel over.

Angel flexing her spiritual pressure managed to knock all of the other men in the group to their knees yet the actual problem simply stood tall making sure the little Kuchiki knew she wasn't a threat to him in his eyes. As for the bear mother Beast though she simply stepped backwards her arm bleeding across her thick brown fur. She still had no intention of anything beyond protecting her children. The arrival of more potential threats even if they had stopped the original didn't seem to win any favors to the group.

Thankfully Yetsuna was thinking about the situation stopping Angel from emitting her spiritual pressure across the area for more than a few moments. That move alone placed the Beast on further guard. Now though Yetsuna was in full view. "Holy Hell.Dammmmn I take it back I'd much rather have you in my bed." This was definitely strange although the man didn't seem to be even a seated officer he wasn't afraid of a Vice Captain, perhaps he was just stupid.

"If I speak you all must leave immediately. No longer save here, they'll be coming now." The bear beast although large still possessed a very feminine voice that brought with it an aura of comfort. Gva stepped forward "Speak quick then and you may leave just as we do." Gva a man of very few words didn't react to Angel's threat as he was a man of action and should she make a move against him or the men of Eleven she would find out just what his actions could do.

"The bugs come just like normal attacking anything they find that not them. Just normal ones this time everything would have been safe if you Shinigami hadn't come here. You didn't attack bugs you attacked all Beasts. To stupid to know who enemy really is. Should have let Bugs squash you all." It was obvious that this was a very bad situation, but it seemed even worse now as they were told very little so far yet the mother didn't seem like she'd be able to contain her fury much longer.

As for Ilya who had stayed further back inspecting the bodies of the insect Beasts that they had been sent to find she would find something was off with what she had been assuming. Her zanpakuto had been drawn and pushed against the body of the deceased target yet penetration did not occur. The chitin exo-skeleton was to dense for her zanpakuto to pierce which meant they couldn't be injured by the standard blade. She would have to inspect the body further and would eventually find that what looked like good muk was ozzing out. What did this mean though and what was it?

A wave of pressure pressed down on Connor, as the ironically named 'Angel' decided to get the extra mile in threatening the Squad Eleven members for their actions, on top of the threat she made towards their lives. It made him angry to see someone throwing around their weight in such a manner, and top of the fact that he had fallen to one of his knees, not having expected the sudden release of gravitational pressure. This woman... made him sick. She was no better than the thugs she threatened, if this is how she responded to situations. The situation was bad, but this was not the time or place to be raising tensions. Not in enemy territory.

Still, he doubted his words would sway her, not if she had already drawn her weapon. Before he could struggle under her influence any further, the red head managed to get her to stop. With her fist. He sighed , before returning to he feet. "Thank you. I appreciate it." He said to her, keeping a calm demeanor, in spite of the situation at hand. He did not know the stance most other Soul Reapers had on the Beast Clan prior to this, but clearly it was fairly negative if this was any indication. To attack a mother in front of her children... Still, he was little better, considering his past. Deciding to repay the help she had given him, he followed the unnamed Yetsuna as she approached the bear woman, three steps behind her.
