Can a technique be replaced?

This is a thought I've been thinking of ever since I created this technique: rpforumbleach.proboards.com/thread/9490/gur-toabat-kur-saish-tei

The limit I have for my zanpakuto techniques is six, this I am aware of, but after careful thought, I feel the need to ask if I could replace one of my bankai techniques for the technique above, the technique being replaced would be cleansing, the reason being that it really doesn't suit how my character acts and behaves or even fits within the zanpakuto abilities theme, which mainly revolve around his blade. I feel cleansing a large area with plasma really doesn't suit him nor his zanpakuto, so if it is at all possible; can I replace cleansing with the above technique (once approved of course)

Yes, it's very doable. All you have to do is submit a character upgrade as per usual, and list changes. You can see how I did so in this thread here. However, there is a catch when it comes to Releases; generally, you need an IC justification (usually a thread or similar) that shows the transition and change.

With that said, however, as you have not yet unlocked Bankai to my knowledge, you may be able to change it immediately without that justification. That will be up to the staff to decide.
