The Kawads had a point in the matter. As a standing Captain in the Gotei 13, Harle has responsibilities to uphold. Those responsibilities were to that of the people of Rukongai. For those who are to be sent to Soul Society to begin their new lives. And to provide the safety and well being for all those that reside within the World. As a Shinigami, their safety was her priority, and was second to none. These were the burdens that the woman had to bear on her shoulders. This was the duty entrusted to her for her to insure to the people that they were safe. And yet, few of them bickered among themselves, striving for power, for wealthy, for the benefit of their Noble Houses. She has heard this all before. Once again, Harle has heard of this simple minded way of thinking. What Jinbei and Kenryoku stated was true.

"Monseiurs, you are all zo simple minded az zee rest. It iz you zat can not zee ze bigger picture." With what Souza Kuichiki had informed the Captain from before about his father meeting with their government, with their own perspective on the matter, they were in favor of the Kuichiki Head. His level of influence had some effect on how the members of government operated. But to think that they would consider giving the Kawadas over to Sozen, what were they thinking? Unless? ...

Why? Why didn't she see it before? It had to be the only explanation to it, "You zay zat a 'real' Zhinigami would have fought to ze end. Zhen, where were you? A 'real' Zhinigami. Watching, hiding, doing nozhing while otherz fight en die. Harle did kill Monseiur Jinbei because of what he would have done to Zoul Zociety. Harle fought to protect ze home zat Harle livez in now. Harle haz fought to inzure zat ze Kawadaz continue. Fo zat reazon iz why Harle iz here. To ztop ze Kawadaz from dying in ze handz of zhose zat wish to uze zhem az un weapon againzt Zoul Zociety." Time and more time went on. The more time given to discuss these matters would only benefit Sozen and the Elder Council. If they knew about such things, why did they do nothing?

"You zay zat you knew, and yet you have done nozhing to ztop it. Zhose zat have ze ztrenght zhould fight, and yet, here you are doing nozhing. Monseiurs, you know about all of zhiz, and you do nozhing about it. You are right when you zay zat 'you do not know enough." Her eyes focused on the trio, turning Tsukuyomi's words against him. With such information in his hands, he did nothing but watch as the serpents crawled their way into their home. Into Soul Society. This was either to be used as a well thought plan, or simply laziness that was slowly being consumed by fear. Individuals who had the knowledge to make the change and did nothing, they were not fit to lead nor question others who strove to make that change. Therefore, the Kawada had no right nor merit to stand in front of the Captain.

"Monsieur Kawada iz right zat Harle zhould have fought harder. Harle knowz zhiz to be true az well. Zhat Harle made un deal whizz ze Mask Man to offer un artifact to spare ze livez of ze Kawadaz in ze House, and of Harle too." This was all true. She had to bargin to not only keep the Kawadas safe, but more importantly to allow Harle to push further into the Kawada structure. Seeing that her presence as made it this far into Kawada Territory, it only spoke her resolve to reach the Elder Chamber. But another problem stood, a greater obstacle that not even the Kawada Elders could stand against alone. For that reason, they struck a bargin with that of Central 46, thus, a deal with Sozen Kuichiki. It did not matter how the trio would act against the Elder Council, as they dealt with them, the House would cease to exist.

The level of politics that they had of the current situation was laughable. Perhaps, she appeared the same in the eyes of both Sozen Kuichiki, and Kiname Kawada. She was a child to them just as the trio were a child to her. None of them knew a single detail as to what was about to happen. Harle was their only means of salvation for the time being. "Harle doez not want ze Kawada House in ruin," she turned to Arantima. The new comer who had little to no knowledge of politics and of the current situation, both passionate and yet naive. That is why, "Harle azks fo your aid, to strike at ze enemy zhat no longer carez about ze Kawadaz, o Zoul Zociety, but of zhemzelvez." she said to Arantima and to that of Shokan. "Harle azkz for your help in taking ze Kawadaz from ze Elder Council. Az un Capitaine, Harle doez have ze positicion to azzume control of ze family, and whizz ze zupport of Souza Kuichiki, Harle haz more merit to do zo too."

"Once Harle azzumes control, ze Elder Council will die. Zhat waz what Harle haz planned to do from ze beginning." Harle already knew what would be the result of such a thing. The crimes for taking the lives of nobility, and that of a Council belonging to a High Ranking family would be unspoken. It will be told that Harle would have broken laws within Soul Society, in which she was suppose to uphold. But, her sins wouldn't be done, since, "Harle knowz zat you underztand what it will mean fo Harle and her positicion. Once it iz learned, Harle will begin to loze her rank and statuz in Soul Society. Harle iz prepared fo zhat. Harle iz ready to accept zhese sins. But, not until Harle destroyz ze heart of zhiz darkness. Harle will deztroy ze memberz of Zentral 46." And there it was. All of the Captain's intentions for the future. A future that will bath the woman in the blood of others, of those who were responsible for allowing Soul Society to fall as far as it had. The source of the corruption would at last be severed.

Tsukuyomi, Shokan, and Arantima would know what this would mean for Harle. Her life in Soul Society would be over. No Judge, no Jury of her peers. It would mean a swift execution on the spot. This was her death sentence. Harle understood it all. So why? "Zhiz darkness and corruption goez az far az Central 46. Harle zeekz to end it all whizz her handz. But, in order to do zhiz, Harle will need ze Kawadaz help. Ze opportunity to cleanze Zoul Zociety and return it to what it once waz. After zat, Harle will leave Zoul Zociety..... forever, and allow you all to lead ze Kawada to ze path zat you know if should be. For ze family, and for Zoul Zociety's safety." the Captain explained. "Harle.. will take the blame for it all ze crimes."

[Tsukuyomi Kawada]

Tsukuyomi continued to sit atop the wall that he had been positioned on for more than a few minutes now. As he had been speaking to Harle the white clothe that he held in his right hand had stopped gliding over the shining blade of Unum. He had been cleaning her and inspecting her for several minutes prior to Harle's arrival. He wasn't completely sure if he'd need to utilize her now or not given how weakened Harle was and how she was acting. Although despite all of that and his problems with the elders of the Kawada especially his own grandfather Tsukuyomi had no other choice, but to eliminate her if it came down to it.

After Arantima and himself had finished speaking once again Tsukuyomi listened as he put the cloth in his back pocket and continued to hold Unum in his left hand now horizontally over his left thigh. The first sentence out of her mouth and yet again she was insulting and belittling all of the Kawada that stood present to face off against her for simply viewing the situation differently than her. This seemed like little more than glorified egotistical values coming from the mouth of a Captain who was already pushing her luck in allowing an artifact of a noble family to slip into the possession of a known enemy of Soul Society.

Bringing up an assignment that she and other Captains had been given specifically by the Captain Command wasn't something that anyone with reason on their mind would bring up. So she killed the traitor Jinbei, good for her. Tsukuyomi didn't know much about the former Head of the family, but he knew of his power. He also knew though that only Captains had been sent to deal with Jinbei and the other traitors of Soul Society. He had also heard rumors while he had been in Division Seven about what had gone down with the battle against Jinbei. "We were here as we were ordered Harle. Just as you were ordered to confront Jinbei. The only difference. We didn't receive aid from one of Soul Society's biggest enemies to do our duty. You'd be dead if it wasn't for Kuroi."

"You seem to believe that we don't know what's going on behind the curtain. That we have no knowledge of how many of the elders no longer truly believe in the Kawada. That this time the Pheonix will not rise from the ashes. That they will use us as weapons against teh rest of Soul Society in some ill conceived plot against the others. You underestimate Shokan and myself Harle. You think of us as children and while I myself may be much younger than you and Shokan. I've learned what to expect from you old arrogant pricks.. That's why the truly loyal of the Kawada are all that remain."

"You claim to have made a deal with the rogue to save not only yourself, but all of us as well. While the sentiment is flattering I don't think the remaining Elders would like such arrogant actions taken on their behalf. You see we knew about the changes that were going on and allowed them just as you say. The only difference is that we haven't done nothing. A phoenix isn't just a creature of immense beauty and power Harle. It's majestic and intelligent. Once all of the taint in the Kawada was revealed here tonight we dealt with it."

"The Kuchiki and the others who sought to use our numbers, land, influence and resources to fuel their own agendas they'll be disappointed just as you. They're all dead Harle. The Elders numbers are now a fraction of what it was a couple mere hours ago. The number now only a few, but they're loyal to the Kawada above all else. The black wings of this phoenix has been clipped and now it shines brightly with new life. You see you sought to save the Kawada through a take over so that the new phoenix could rise from the ashes in your own twisted image of what the Kawada are. The old phoenix led by Kiname Kawada, swayed by Sozen Kuchiki is dead. A new born phoenix is raising it's head from the ashes of the old, but not by you, by the new generation guided by the wisdom of the few truly loyal left. We're the new phoenix Harle."

"If central forty six had a part in the corruption of the Kawada rest assured we know. The problem is that they can't be harmed Harle. You may wish to eliminate them for their despicable actions against a family that you claim to love, but that will only weaken Soul Society at a time when it can't be allowed to show any weakness. We live such long lives. Harbor that hate or resentment whatever it is that has brought you throughout this journey and when Soul Society is in a better place. When enemies are no longer on every front and outnumber us. Then if you still wish to throw away everything else that gives your life meaning and kill a member or a few of the central forty six than go ahead. You'll still leave Soul Society the home of all Shinigami weaker, but that's your decision. The main thing you know is that all of the reason you claim to be here for the Kawada have already been handled."

[Arantima Kawada]

Arantima looked to Tsukyomi. He had left him out of All of his Speach and While it was true that he shouldn't be included with the Knowledge of what has occurred he felt a bit cut by the fact that he was not being spoken of. He looked between Tsukyomi and Harle, Leaving Shokan about of his gaze for the time being, the fact that Shokan hadn't been speaking yet might just yet be a blessing, Shokan was Hot headed and passionate about the kawada family, And that might blind him to what is actually going on here. likewise Harle Didnt seem like a very.. Driven Enemy.

Harle looked Tired, like she was just going through the motions of this Long time hidden plan becuase it was what she must do.. the only way she could Rest peacefully.  She was a Woman with a Goal that she beleived in above all other things, She had no more attachments.. She had no more, no other reason for being what she was anymore that was evident by her words and convictions. She was Going to Do this, even if she had to kill anyone who stood in her way to do it..  or even worse, if she had to Drag herself through the muck and grime to ensure no one who didnt deserve to die was killed.

Arantima moves his hands out infront of himself and parted them, the Shields covering the door opened, and Arantima sighed gently  "if that is as far as you are Willing to Go Taichou than i will not stop you.. But please listen to Our words.. Slash and burn leads to a Failure of a Farm..  And Gouging out organs to remove scarred tissue ends lives.. " He Steps Aside and gestures into the doorway he had just opened, He was not going to impede Her progress forward bit it seemed he likewise was not going to help her.

Harle believed that they could be persuaded. Some glimmer of hope that there would be some Kawadas who would come to support her cause. Those that the masked man, Douma, did not harm and left alive the Captain was able to pull to the side for assistance. Those who were trained in the art of medicine were able to care for them while she proceeded onwards. However, whether or not she had earned their trust and respect was to be decided in time. The same involved those among the members of Tsunami. Many of them had the same outlook as Tsukuyomi Kawada did. Believing that much is figured by simplying waiting and sneaking like a snake in the grass. Kiname Kawada led the Elder Council with an iron fist. What plan did the young Kawada had in store for the Council would only end in failure. Harle too was in a similar predicament, yet, she held her end of the deal that was struck between them. Douma was no longer in Soul Society, and Harle would pass the obstacles. Once she reached the Council Room, it would be her victory.

But the victory itself would only be the first of many trials to come. The young Kawada's narrow vision would only cause more issues. With no current head, and none of the Kawadas that stood before her suited for leadership, the absence of the Elder Council would cause the entire Household to fall into disarray. Brother against brother, father against daughter. The Captain has witnessed it many times during her time alive in the World of the Living. When a Ruler fell with no line of succession, chaos was soon close to follow. What the Kawada didn't see, despite that vast loyalty, members would soon fight among themselves to claim such a position. The issue came with the infighting as those who were to believed to be unworthy would strive to obtain that power. Schemes in the shadows, assassinations, it will never end. Jinbei's blood line ideals were strong, regardless if his presence no longer resided in this world. Harle had to end it herself.

But, to her surprised that the young Arantima relinquished his previous position. Harle's eyes widened to an extent due to this outcome. And though Shokan remained silent, there was much to consider. Such thoughts Harle had already gone over again and again and again for as long as she took to notice these shadows in Soul Society. The Captain may not gain favor with all of the Kawadas; this she knew already. Not all of them could be persuaded, not all of them would see reason, this was inevitable when there was a change in leadership. However, Harle knew it wouldn't last long. All she could do was pave the way. At the same time, she understood what Tsukuyomi stated about the aftermath of Soul Society. She will leave Soul Society in a weakened state. That was true, yet, she had faith in those that still remained. Kimiko Shihoin and Kisala, Souza Kuichiki and that of the Kyomei Kuichiki. Every member of Soul Society was going to go through hardships, without a doubt. But, when the darkness finally ceased, and the light resurfaced, Soul Society would be stronger for it. Harle will make that gamble.

The respect and trust that the man, Arantima, placed into her was noted, and greatly appreciated. Harle took her steps forward, only to cease to return the respect to Arantima and Shokan Kawada. The woman's head dipped forward into a bow towards the two before continuing her march towards the door. If there was going to be a fight, then it wouldn't be Harle to start it. If any Kawada was going to impede her, then let them draw first blood.

[Tsukuyomi Kawada]

This didn't seem to be going anywhere. That was what Tsukuyomi continued to tell himself as once again despite telling and informing Harle that the Kawada had everything under control she wasn't going to leave. This had been something that she had been working towards for a period of time that seemed to have taken a lot out of her at least from Tsukuyomi's perspective. This seemed like what she was living for now. She was no longer a Shinigami that seemed fixated on protecting others, but instead her sole purpose was now in taking over and in her own perspective aiding it.

Shokan was being unusually quiet as if he was off in some other place. Tsukuyomi was envious wishing that he could be off on some sort of assignment right now instead of doing the work of his grandfather. He was expecting Shokan to be the first one out of the three currently standing her off to rush Harle and do whatever he could to try and stop her. As he continued to watch though he saw that it seemed like only he would be left. Arantima had just been accepted into the Kawada family and much like him Tsukuyomi either didn't know much of the family or wasn't thought of all that highly by others. There was a difference between the two though. Arantima could make his own choices, Tsukuyomi had that right taken from him months ago.

Arantima made it clear more from his actions than his own words as he allows his golden shields of what appeared to be flames to dissipate and disappear. No longer were they set up to protect the gates that contain what was left of the elder council behind them. The numbers were small now after the inner execution of the taint that was festering in the elder council after Kiname Kawada sold out to Sozen Kuchiki. Tsukuyomi's grandfather was one of the only elders left and now he stood in the center of the family as he always had a powerful and loyal member of the family who put the family's well being above everything else even other members. To his grandfather he was nothing more than a tool and he control him right now.

His grandfather knew the truth about him and that was something that Tsukuyomi knew could lead immediately to his own execution. If he wanted to continue living he was left with no other choice than to follow his grandfather's orders whether he agreed with them or not. His grandfather had been shaping his life for the last year and although he was also teaching him and the main reason why Tsukuyomi in the last year had become as powerful as he had there was no love between the two. Right now though he was tasked with preventing Harle at all costs. She was attempting to forcefully take over the Kawada family and doing so was seen as an attack against them. Tsukuyomi knew that even if he somehow managed to kill her that he wouldn't be executed for it.

The problem was with how everyone else would feel towards him if he actually went through with it and the cost it would have on all of Soul Society. One less Captain meant that Soul Society as a whole would become much weaker and with the state of affairs right now as they were Tsukuyomi although lacking experience in world affairs knew from his training that Soul Society couldn't risk becoming any weaker than it already was. It seemed he was left with no other choice though as Arantima lowered his defenses and Shokan stood still.

So as Harle stepped forward Tsukuyomi would appear in front of the gate utilizing Shunpo to arrive at the destination immediately. Unum the thin sharp blade held outwards with his right hand pointed at her throat Tsukuyomi starred her down. "Harle go back to your barracks. Lead the Second Division as you have been. Everything is being solved already. If we need any assistance the Onmitsukido can always be employed by the Shihoin. I don't want to fight you even after everything you've done, but if you continue I don't have another choice. Think of Soul Society as a whole and not simply the fragments of your previous Captain." Tsukuyomi made one last attempt at trying to take Harle down, but at this point it seemed pointless and combat seemed inevitable.

The young Kawada didn't see the issue. Looking and picking at the pieces that were only present at this moment in time. He did not see the threat that was present around them. Only Harle saw the real threat just as Souza did. It may have only been rumors among those who resided on the outside of the circle, but for those who listened and watched, for those who have investigated the ripples, then they would be able to see. Harle was one of the few who took to notice. It wasn't to her knowledge that Kimiko Shihion knew of such dealing occurring in the background. Few others grew closer to the truth, but were silenced before sufficient evidence was gathered. Harle lacked what they did. However, like them, she had the conviction to push to the goal. Even if it meant she would lose everything.

The Kawada before her stood before her, realizing that he too had his own convictions. His own resolve in what he believed in. No matter what drove him to do so she wouldn't know. Every individual she faced before had their own desires and ideals that inspired them. Whether or not they were to find a mutual understanding in ideals, nevertheless, they each fought for them. Harle couldn't detest them for such conviction. All she could was insure that she stood on top. Though, if were to reside on top, it would due to her own methods and morality.

"Harle appreciatez ze time zhat you have given to her, howevah, Harle can not ztop at zhiz time. Harle haz to ztop zhiz corruption from going any further, and she will rip it away from zee zource. Zo, Harle azk fo forgiveness fo zhiz." There were no other words that needed to be said. The Captain said her peace to the young Kawada. The blade that the Kawada directed to the Captain's throat had no appeal to it. It's statement already told Harle all that she required to understand the man. Although he stood to bar her path, Harle wouldn't draw first blood. Instead, she stepped to the side to walk around the man. If Tsukuyomi desired to stop the woman, then he would have to strike first. As for the Captain, his position did nothing to halt her advance.

Central 46, the old Kawada traditions, all of it had to fall. With Tsukuyomi's conviction, it only revealed to the Captain how much more this was needed. The old blood that resided within it only grew to taint the new generations. More so, Central 46's resolve to take over and disperse the Kawadas would only result in further bloodshed. Harle had to put a stop to it all. But to do this, she required the Kawada's strength. Despite knowing the end result, this was Harle's duty as a Captain. Keeping the blade away at an arm's length, the Captain simply waltzed around the man to enter the building. All of it had to fall to purify the taint within, even if it meant the blood of a Captain had to be spilled.

[Tsukuyomi Kawada]

It seemed that no matter what Tsukuyomi told this Captain including the fact that many of the old Kawada had already been eliminated. She was still going to try and push her way through the door and eliminate what little remained of the elder council. The leader of what was left of the council was his grandfather and although there was no love between the two of them Tsukuyomi was in no position where he could allow Harle to attack his grandfather. So as Harle moved past his blade she ignored his warning and Tsukuyomi was left with no other choice.

In an instant Unum was twirled in his hand so that its blade would arc upwards in a motion that would enable it to cut into Harle's left elbow the arm furthest away from Tsukuyomi himself. If he was successful than Harle wouldn't be able to utilize her right arm to the fullest. At the same moment that Unum was twirled Tsukuyomi's left hand moved across his waist and gripped a hold of Honshitsu's hilt. Immediately the blade was drawn as Tsukuyomi stepped forward into his slash and brought the wakashi forward in an attempt to cut into her gut.

The young Kawada struck first. Harle suspected that the young man wouldn't allow her passage despite knowing what was to come. Her eyes were widened at the result of the man's response to her attempt to pass ahead. The corner of her eyes witnessed the arcing motion of Tsukuyomi's drawn blade. Moving upwards as an attempt to lash out as her midsection. The angle of the blade and the fluid motion that led it into that region indicated her chest or arms. Yet, it wasn't her natural instincts that led her into avoiding the young Kawada's sudden attack, but the experience that separated the two was beyond comprehension. As Harle grew as a Lieutenant, and as a Captain, she was pitted against foes who outmatched her in other manners.

Souza Kuichiki in precision and wit. As young as he was the amount of effort that he had in formulating his techniques and own movements foretold the amount of dedication he had to his training. Even as a Captain, the Kuichiki Heir was more than her match, as his abilities were easily on par with that of a Captain. Then there was Marcus. A living human being who was an equal in terms of hand to hand combat. While Harle herself muster numerous methods in avoiding dire situations, the man was still capable of surprising the Captain. Both from a distance and close quarters, Harle couldn't underestimate the man when engaged. However, it was Jinbei Kawada that served as the central figure in Harle's combat experience.

The man was the pinnacle of the Kawada's strength. He who ruled over his family with an iron fist and who single handedly brought the family to their present glory. His strength was beyond that of those she faced before. Precision, speed, talent, and strength. Harle fought against a man who usurped her own abilities by centuries. In the fight against the Elder Kawada, Harle fought with all that she had, despite being placed under immense stress and pain, she had to prevail. Every foe that Harle fought against left an impression on her. An impression and lessons that she utilized in every confrontation since. For that the Captain was prepared to move as soon as the blade was motioned at her arm.

Harle sprung into action, pivoting her right as her left foot swung behind her dominate right. Her swing was light as the weight of her body was forced onto the right. The tip of her left grazed the ground as Tsukuyomi's blade arced upwards. Harle's posture shifted immediately as her stance changed to prepare for the second strike. Her eyes keen on the man's body language as he tucked his left arm into his right section of the torso. He drew his second blade, seeking to penetrate the woman's gut. Harle's stance swung once more as the man's blade drew closer. The Captain had waited for the last moment to move herself into place. The speed between them made it all the woman's reactions much more efficient as it had done with others.

While Harle's own ability to naturally react to sudden movements was slower than that of Tsukuyomi's, the Shinigami was already cautious of the man. Her sense of danger had already been triggered the moment that the man appeared before her to block her path. Although she had tossed her main weapon away, Harle was more efficient in Martial Arts than that of her short sword. For that was what allowed the woman to time her own speed and reaction to that of the young Kawada's actions. As the blade drew closer, Harle waited for the last moment to grip the man's wrist as his blade lunged into her direction. That same motion that her foe had mustered wasn't halted. Instead of negating the action altogether, Harle encouraged the thrust by adding her own physical force into it. Of course, this alone wasn't sufficient in achieving what the Captain had set out to do. For that reason, the woman's own body weight was what would have made the defining factor.

With an instant, Tsukuyomi would have found himself being pulled into the Captain, only to see the blurred motion of the woman's body tug at his arm downwards past her. However, that wasn't all. Harle's body spun with the motion. From the corner of the Kawada's eyes he would have seen the woman's leg drawing closer to his head. A kick? Not at all. The difference between the two's spiritual prowess was felt. Harle knew too well what would have resulted if she had. Instead, the tugging motion was more of a set up to draw the man in closer, closing the space between them to insure that the man would be not only off balance, but unable to pull himself away from her leg. With his head in it's offset motion, the Captain's leg would have been felt coiling around the back of his scalp, pulling his now tumbling body further forward.

If completed, the motion that the Captain had trapped the Kawada in would have resulted with the young man's body falling onto the ground. His left shoulder pressed into the courtyard's surface as his face smashing into the ground first. His body slightly twisted as it fell from being off balance, and left arm gripped in the palm of Harle's left hand. His head remained trapped beneath the between the ground and the back of sole of her foot, pressed down by the woman's butt as she pressed her weight into it sitting on him. "Pleaze, do not force Harle to draw unnecezzary blood. Juzt allow Harle to pazz." the Captain pleaded.

Tsukuyomi’s black robes blurred behind him as he slashed forward with his arm, followed immediately by a lunge propelled by his killing intent. Few eyes would be able to follow Harle’s movement as she began to retaliate – the first clash between the Shinigami. The exchange would go no further. Harle wouldn’t progress far enough to even grab Tsukuyomi’s lunging wrist. She would successfully avoid the initial slash, but that was the end of their one-on-one exchange. The moment Tsukuyomi began his thrust, their duel would be put to an end. Invisible suddenly flooded the air between them before unleashing an outward force that threw both Harle and Tsukuyomi back off their feet, launching them in opposite directions.

So sad.

At first, it seemed like the interferer was nowhere to be seen. However, if the Kawada looked further, they’d find a lone figure dressed in a Captain’s hoari running toward them. He was several hundred meters away, but his skill in kido allowed him to de-escalate the conflict from afar. He had not cast a simple spell either. Using Kido Fusion, the Captain was able to combine the spells Bakudo #81: Danku and Hado #1: Sho, forming a wall that repelled all those it came in contact with. This invisible wall formed immediately between Harle and Tsukuyomi, and would remain in case they tried to resume the fight.

You were just in time, Himitsu.

With a couple step techniques, Himitsu was able to close the remaining distance between himself, Harle, and the Kawada. If there was any question of the new Captain’s intention when he joined the event, those questions would immediately be put to rest by his positioning. He intentionally placed himself near Tsukuyomi and the rest of the Kawada. His face was stern as he looked to Harle, drawing his sealed zanpakuto. The katana could only be a sign of aggression.

“Kaijin Harle Quinn of the Second Division, you are under arrest for suspicion of the murder of Kawada, destruction of Kawada property, and inciting violence amongst Shinigami of the Gotei 13.”

Himitsu’s voice was unsympathetic, but his eyes betrayed him. If Harle met his gaze, she’d see the sadness behind his brown eyes. They revealed the internal pain Himitsu felt. His heart ached when he saw smoke rising from the Kawada Tower from afar. When he saw the pools of blood surrounding the corpse islands within and around the tower.

Himitsu had little understanding of the events that had transpired. Information was rushed to him as quickly as possible, and the few details he was aware of were quite troubling. Himitsu already knew of the potential political takeover of the Kawada that the Kuchiki had planned. However, Douma’s appearance at the Kawada Tower and Harle’s battle with him raised severe concerns. With the arrival of seated Kawada soul reapers, Himitsu knew he had to rush to the scene as quickly as possible.

Himitsu didn’t want to jump to conclusions. He didn’t believe that Harle played a role in the tragic deaths that had occurred at the site. However, he knew that her hostile takeover of the Kawada would eventually climax into a violent confrontation, and he had just witnessed the beginnings of a battle between Shinigami. He had to arrest her for that alone. No more violence would occur on his watch.

Go check for survivors in the Tower. Alert me to any in critical condition. I may still be able to save them. Otherwise… make note of how many are dead.

With a buzz, a crimson speck flew from Himitsu’s right shoulder toward the Kawada Tower. The ladybug was a product of Himitsu’s Kasumi’Oji technique, Genesis Art: Volucris. It was designed primarily for reconisance and first response missions such as this one. In the meantime, Himitsu turned to the Kawada beside him. He was familiar with Shokan and directed an acknowledging nod toward the former Kawada head. Himitsu was meeting Arantima and Tsukuyomi for the first time and primarily addressed them as he spoke.

“This matter is an internal affair. It is now under my jurisdiction. Do not interfere, or I will have no choice but to arrest you as well.” Himitsu was being strict, possibly more strict than was required, but he wasn't going to take any chances. He would not allow any room for further escalation. The time for fighting was over. Himitsu reached behind him and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. He tossed them toward Harle. “Don’t make this any harder than it has to be.” But again, Harle would find inconsistency between Himitsu’s stern tone and his soft eyes. Please… his gaze seemed to beg of her. Please turn yourself in. I don’t want to fight you.

The goal was becoming farther and farther with every moment that passed. The numbers were already staggered against the Captain. Tsukuyomi, Arantima, and Shokan Kawada were elements that only sought to hinder Harle's ability to rid the Kawadas of their darkness, their corruption. It was an act that would lead to the head of the corruption, one in which that was needed to be rid of; Central 46. Each piece of evidence stacked on top of the other which painted a clear, but frightening picture of the Captain. And if allowed to exist, it would bring an end to Soul Society before they knew it. Central 46 was where Sozen Kuichiki was able to pull the strings of it all. And it had to end. However, it would seem that that her hands were not destined to end it.

Her hand inched closer to that of the young Kawada male before a force deprived her of the opportunity. The Captain had been forced back by a force that could only be measured by a certain rank. Reiatsu whose power and influence that could only speak of years of training to hone the power to such precision. This was the power of no other than a Captain, or someone who was as strong as one. But much her of suspicions were unnecessary. As Harle pieced together the crumbs of information the blanket of white appeared before her. Her Energy Sensory triggered when the man came closer onto Kawada grounds, yet it wasn't known as to who or what intentions they may have had. But the insignia and traditional Haori wasn't mistaken; a Captain of the Gotei 13. Not to be mistaken for any of the other Captains, but it was Himitsu Kasumi'oji.

She never met the man in person, and with the sudden rush of information from Souza Kuichiki, he was a man that she could have informed on the matter. He was a man that Harle should have reached out to before all of this began. But for her to do that, for her to risk others in a matter that could end in failure, would mean that their would be others that would suffer rather than her. With this, with the Captain committing to this operation alone, then it reduced the damage that Soul Society would have suffered. This was the best course of action. Despite if a few of the Kawadas before her would be harmed, they would recover and still be able to serve. Yet, for a Captain to be here now, it could only mean one thing...

It was to be thought as much. Douma's engagement on Kawada grounds was inconclusive. There was no evidence aside from what was stolen from the Kawada Vault, and the few dead Kawadas left by his deeds. However, in retrospect, all of it can be turned on the Captain. Harle would be labeled as the aggressor in this matter without so much as a second thought. For those who had a devious mindset among the Kawada, they would have saw this as a profitable aspect to rid themselves of the French woman. In addition, evidence could be planted during the investigation process. Everything would lead to Harle's doing rather than that of the masked man Douma. If Harle fought back, it would only support such a claim. All that the Captain had to use was her own words. Seeing the situation as it was now, it wouldn't do her much good. Besides that, Harle had not the strength to fight against a Captain and a Seated Officer of the Gotei 13.

More and more thoughts continued to pour through as Harle stood to contemplate the matter. As time would go on, more and more Captains would be suspected of arriving soon. All with the same manner of thinkging when seeing the situation. Everything pointed to Harle being the assailant. No matter which perspective that she saw it from, it all pointed to Harle as the culprit. More so, it wasn't the situation itself that made Harle's heart fall into the pit of her stomach, but the gaze of her fellow Captain. From what she heard of the man, he was genuine. A kind and gentle man who was famously trusted among his companions. If only they had met under more comfortable circumstances, then perhaps the matters here would have ended more smoothly. But here, and now, despite how much she loathed the very thought of it. She no other choice.

The strength felt lost in her knees and legs. Harle fell, bringing herself down unto what was meant to be fate. Monsieur Himitsu gave to her what was needed for her to comply. Her body slumped as she had to admit to herself, which made it all the more painful, "Harle..... has failed."



Harle has lost." she thought as she heard the cuffs lock, and with them, the end of her life in Soul Society.

Okay so this one was fine up until we hit the second half and we progressed from a PVP to more of a conversation than anything. I had to think over the exact grading on this one, but here is my take on things. Arantima and Shokan did not actually participate in battle; the former merely released and did nothing, the latter didn't even do that. Tsukuyomi actually tried to strike so I'll give points for that, but Himitsu merely arrived to stop the fight rather than truly participating in it. So my thoughts on the matter is this:

Harle, Tsukuyomi, and Douma will receive full credit for this thread in PVP terms. Shokan and Arantima will receive halved rewards because of their participation even though they did not engage in actual combat. If any of the other mods want to weigh in on this ruling, please feel free, as this is an unusual circumstance.

By the system I proposed above, the rewards are as follows:
Harle: 112 Paragraphs x 25 TP = 2800 TP.
Douma: 70 Paragraphs x 25 TP = 1750 TP
Tsukuyomi: 25 Paragraphs x 25 TP = 625 TP.
Shokan: 11 Paragraphs x 25 TP = 275 TP / 2 = 135 TP (rounded down for neatness).
Arantima: 19 Paragraphs x 25 TP = 475 TP / 2 = 235 TP (rounded down for neatness).

I can't really say anyone actually won in either part of the fight, so no bonus TP will be awarded.
