"Monseiur, you may have ze item zhat you zeek." Harle responded to Douma through her bankai, projecting her message into his mind in the same way that allowed her to manipulate his senses. She was no fool. She would not reveal herself, and Douma was not to be trusted. There was no honor among criminals. However, it did seem that Harle was prepared to compromise with the Angel of Silence. She was in a very unfavorable position, and striking a deal with the rogue was her best option.

"You may have ze item zat you speak of, however, ze time zat you are azking fo iz too long. Ze Kawadaz willz undoubtly dizcover your planz. Not only zat, but Harle can not truzt zat Monseiur will only take zat item. Zo, Harle propozez zat you return in one weekz time, zo zat you may come and collectz ze item together whiz Harle." Interesting suggestion. Harle did have a point. An extended delay in the battle would raise suspicions. Half an hour was too long indeed.

"Even if Harle allowz Monseiur to pazz, another Kawada will be waiting fo you. Ze previouz Commander of ze Kido Corps, Kiname Kawada. And zat man iz much mo ztronger zhan Harle. Zat iz what Harle proposes Monseiur, what iz your decicion?" That piece of information was thought-provoking. A former Commander of the Kido Corps would certainly give Douma a hard time, and while he still had much reiatsu and life force left, he was not in his peak physical condition. He was tired and injured. With Alice’s help, Douma could probably defeat Kiname Kawada, but if there was a third obstacle in their way, he might not have enough energy to tackle it or escape. It was too risky.

Still, Harle’s offer was not compelling. “No,” he stated bluntly. “I will not come back in one week.” Douma did not want to return to the Kawada Tower. He was a busy man after all. But, more importantly, he didn’t trust Harle. There was no way he could ensure that she followed through. If he returned in a week, she could easily have a trap laying for him. He was not about to put his faith in the woman and trust that when he returned, she wouldn’t have the entire Gotei 13 ready to surround him.

“Three minutes,” Douma negotiated. Three minutes was a big step down from the initial thirty minutes that he had requested. This time, however, he wasn’t the one that was going to enter the Kawada Tower. “For those three minutes, I will battle your illusions. Keep the fight up-close and physical. Send two or three at me simultaneously to keep me occupied and slightly overwhelmed.

“As I fight off your illusions, my subordinate who I have kept safely hidden beneath the surface of the ground will sneak into the tower. I can transfer her presence there without the Kawada onlookers noticing. There, she will locate and extract the object I need with ease. Once she has finished, I will feign defeat and retreat. Acceptable?” That was the best compromise Douma could come up with. He would send Alice into the tower to retrieve the item, and then they would both make their escape.

(OOC Note: The following will only occur if Harle agrees to Douma’s proposal)

If Harle accepted, Douma would shift Alice’s location from 50 meters below the ground into the Kawada Tower. More specifically, she would find herself inside the elevator shaft, allowing her to descend quickly to the lower levels of the tower where the item was stored. Douma had already reviewed the necessary procedure for safe item extraction. ”It will emit a dark, hellish energy,” Douma had told Alice before the start of the mission. ”Use one of your dolls to create a dense fog. Focus the mist around your eyes so that you cannot see more than two inches in front of you.

"The item is a bead necklace. Once you locate it, place it in the storage scroll. Ensure that your eyes never see the beads.” With Alice’s superb energy sensory, she would be able to find the beads much faster than Douma could. That three minutes might just barely be enough time for her to get in and grab them. However, it would be hard for her to get out quickly enough within the three minutes. Thus, Douma would summon a Shokan: Dark Scythe to accompany her and break through any physical obstacles if necessary. Once she retrieved the item, he would have the Black Zone around Dark Scythe absorb Alice’s presence and Dark Scythe would return up the elevator shaft until its Black Zone reconnected with Douma’s, allowing the mercenary to transfer Alice’s presence into his bakkoto sword.

As all of this transpired, Douma would summon a Dark Knife and Dark Blade to battle alongside him once more against Harle’s illusions. Because Douma was numbed, his physical combat abilities were lack-luster. However, he could still use Shunpo Karin to keep up with some of the illusions Harle crafted, letting him block a blow in time for his shokans to counterattack on his behalf. After Alice was done and Douma had transferred her to his blade, he would fake his loss. When Harle’s soldier was about to strike Dark Blade, he would suddenly increase Dark Blade’s weight three-fold, slowing it’s movement suddenly and ensuring that it failed to defend itself. Once Dark Blade died, Douma would transfer both his own presence and Harle’s into Dark Knife, commanding the creature to fly into the sky and escape. If all of this transpired as planned, Harle would be left standing beside a crater, watching the mercenary’s wyvern transport him to safety as he carried the Black Beads with him.

(OOC: This is all cinematic at this point, so I’m not going to bother with reiatsu costs and those types of things.)

[Kaijin"Harle"Quinn]

The man was definitely foolish to decline such a proposal. A foolish man who thought so highly of himself. The facts were there at the present. Harle, weakened by their trade of blows with one another. Douma, still with reiatsu and energy to fight with, however, physically incapable of accomplishing much alone. The two were somewhat at a stand, leaving Douma with a more favorable advantage. If Harle desired to continue her campaign with some percentage of succession, then there was no other way but to accept the man's offer. With the time limit reduced, the man had to be both precise with his search, which meant that the Kawada's suspicions would fall near to that of nonexistent. Yet, the risk was still present. However, Harle was not utterly finished. There was still one more option.

The numbness started to fade away. The feeling of her strength returning to her body, providing the further support that was needed to continue fighting. Though, that wasn't the idea that the Captain had in mind. Among those of the Gotei 13, no one knew of the secret that the Captain possessed. A strength that came with a terrible price. It's power known to only those who were willing to cast everything aside for the sake of a higher cause. That very power Harle kept inside herself. Her lips did not betray her. None among her own peerage knew of such power. It was only gained through the trust and mutual understanding between herself and that of her Zanpakutou. The Saigo No Houmen.

It's very nature concluded that of a Shinigami's strength. A power that could only be used once, and only once. Saigo No Houmen only lasted for a small amount of time. Too short a time to really take on numerous opponents. Before long its tremendous force will wither away along with the remainder to the Shinigami's powers. Soon after, the Shinigami would be all but powerless as a newborn human. But here and now, that was all that she needed. Just a few moments. That was all. For that reason, "Saigo... Just a single word from her lips and already the Bankai began it's closure. Her spiritual pressure and reiatsu would soon cease to exist. "..No... The stores of reiatsu that she once had didn't feel as little anymore.

Each word spoken was another shackle on her body being removed. Mind, body, and spirit were all merging into a single entity. Douma would come to learn a valuable lesson, that the girl he once faced as Kagami Murai didn't exist anymore. "Houme-" "Kaijin, stop." As to restore reason back into the Captain, her Zanpakutou spirit, Tsukuyomi, intervened. Her warmth grasped the wrist of the Captain, reassuring her of the time to use such a power. Words between them were not needed, as the two share a bond that surpassed that of the other Shinigamis. A unique bond that only those who had forged the pact knew of. She already knew what the spirit wanted to say to her. "Now wasn't the time."

Harle knew the reasons behind her spirit's intervention. Despite her own sense of pride, she couldn't go through with it. Such a power, as the Saigo no Houmen, wasn't meant to be used on the likes of the Mercenary. It would be meant for something higher than that of conquering. To protect something precious to Harle. That was what the power should be meant for. But for now, it would have to wait. "Fine." Harle muttered through the world of her Bankai, turning back the wheels of her Saigo release into place back within the Captain. For that reason, Harle played along, and allowed the man to go about his business as planned.

Her illusions fought, bringing the Shokan weapons into a corner, mustering the phantoms from before. Not too long the guardians were put into a position in which beasts thought of themselves destroyed. The end resulting to have Douma appear cornered, forcing his hand to flee. Yet, the Captain knew better. She knew of the reason why the masked man would flee. The result wasn't what the Captain would have wished for, but he'll return one day. The meeting between the two was predestined to happen once again. However, the next time they would meet will result in one of them lying on the floor in the pool of their own blood. That was for certain.

[Kaijin"Harle"Quinn]

OOC: This concludes the first portion of the invasion thread. The result leaving Harle with several injuries, a wounded hip and laceration to the thigh. Her stamina would be fully recovered, however, only a portion of her entire reiatsu will also be recovered. Instead of possessing 425, Harle will beging this portion with 500 reiatsu, and will not be able to utilize Bankai, as this is still the same day Harle faced Douma.

Now Harle enters the main House of the Kawadas, making her way towards the main chamber. This portion will be Harle against the Kawadas. In order to keep this thread moving, a 1 week limit will be conducted before Harle moves on to the Elders. Once Harle has made it to the Elders, the thread will come to an end, resulting in Harle's victory. Kawada members are able to post within the 1 week limit, and if not, then the thread will proceed forward.

[Shōkan Kawada Ⅺ]

Shōkan Kawada waited in the Kawada Family Manor's Courtyard. Presently he was waiting on a few people. First of course, was the Captain of Squad 2, Harle Quinn. She was attempting to suppplant herself as head of the Kawada Clan, despite not being natural born, or even adopted into the clan at all. Shōkan was suspicious of her motives. When Douma had attacked, he had not been in the compound, he had been in his Squad's barracks, taking care of business in his official capacity as a member of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. However, from the reports he had recieved,
he was more than a little suspicious.

Shōkan was an intelligent, analytical man. It simply didn't make sense for Douma to just give up and leave, despite having such an overwhelming advantage. All eye witness reports showed that Harle was on her last legs, having spent all she had, and yet Douma appeared to be unharmed. The fact that in the last minutes of the fight, there was no real serious battle, it seemed more like stalling than anything. By all means, Douma could have crushed Harle, and yet the battle was protracted for several minutes, with neither side taking any significant damage. A later survey showed that one of the artifact the Kawada had stored away was missing...

Normally, Shōkan wouldn't be privy to all of this information, being only an unseated officer. however, his position in the clan was... Complicated. He was one of the oldest and most experienced members, being a former Captain and Clan Head. Many of the younger generation were in awe of him, and he had developed strong ties with several members, including the Vice-Captain of Squad 11, Tsukuyomi. Most of the elders had the utmost respect for him as a legendary figure. In reality, Shōkan's blood put him in the position of Clan Heir, his experience and history made him near untouchable in the eyes of the majority of the clan, and he had developed ties with some of the more prominent figures.

Truthfully, few would dare to side against him on most matters. As such, his position int he clan was much higher than it would seem. With the information he was presented, Shōkan couldn't help but think that Harle had attempted to set the Kawada Clan up with a ruse.H ow convenient for her was it that Douma had attacked when he did? How odd was the ending of the battle? That despite Douma having the obvious upper hand, and being a known unrepentant killer, just left? Not to mention the fact that at some point a priceless artifact was stolen. For Shōkan, this painted a very simple picture.

He had come to the conclusion that it had been a set up from the beginning. In return for the artifact which Harle would give Douma the distraction in retrieving, Douma would force the Kawada Clan in a vulnerable situation, where harle could 'conveniently' help. In this way, she could force herself into the position of Clan Head, and Douma could retrieve this item. Not only would this be a betrayal of the Kawada Clan, but also a betrayal of the Soul Society as a whole. Shōkan had no hard evidence of this, simply the fact that all of these events played out just a little too perfectly...

He had voiced his suspicions, not only to the Clan Elders, but also to several others,
including Tsukuyomi Kawada, who happened to be another of the people he was waiting for. The last person might surprise you. Arantima Aoire, the Vice-Captain of Squad 10. Not too long before his rise as a Vice-Captain, Shōkan had found and aided him in recovering from his injuries, and offered him a posiiton in the Kawada Clan. Today, before he cme here,
he had informed the Clan Elders. using his natural Charisma, along with his position, he hadn't asked, but mroe told them that this was going to happen, before promptly leaving. if they had a problem with this, they could take it up with him themselves.

Not that they would, Arantima was a powerful member of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, not to mention a long time friend of Shōkan, who had aided his development from the moment he had joined. The Kawada was in dire need of trustworthy, powerful people, and Shōkan himself vouched for him. Arantima's history, Shōkan's vouching of him, and his obvious power all made it clear. Not only could the Kawada Clan not afford to deny it,
why would they ever want to? it was just the kind of thing they were looking for, new blood to help staunch the constant bleeding of powerful members they had gained recently.
the fact that it was Shōkan bringing him in only made it better.

As such, Arantima was the last person Shōkan was waiting for. He was going to make this quick. If anyone wanted to stop him, well, they had better act quickly.

[Arantima Kawada]

Arantima Kawada... The name felt strange at first. The weight that it carried was physically palpable. He felt responsibility flooding him from many many directions but it wasn't overwhelming it was a fertilizer to him. Hardship and Struggle was his lot in life, and his soul seemed to crave it. The harder the battle the more he craved it, the more intense the training the more he wanted to make it harder. His Life was pushing himself to breaking and watching the results of that work. There was a strange masochism to him that he had never known before fully growing into his own as a Shinigami.

Now he was answering a call, a call of a friend, the call of a brother. Shokan kawada was the opposite of Arantima in many ways, He was a man who had to hold his natural power back lest he break everything he walked past, instead of having to struggle to gain monstrous power he had to struggle to stem the tide of monstrous power flowing off of him. Shokan was born into a family of wealth, and Arantima was once a homeless man punching a tree in the Rukongai.  The Way that the two were similar is in that of their swords.

Arantima had to struggle to attain even a single Release, a monstrous level of power poured into a Single Greatly potent release that allowed him to touch his own true power. Shokan was so physically and spiritually powerful that he suffocated his Zanpakuto and could not hear his sword over the sound of his own roaring spiritual pressure. They both were unique in their swords, both unique in their sensibilities on what true power was and how to attain it. A Decently matched set of Yin and Yang.

The Kawada family was perhaps at this time the least well known family, or perhaps a better way to say it is the most well known for the wrong reasons.. They were known of course for their prominent members but known more importantly for having so few prominent members of the Soul society. They were outdated according to some, and a vestigial useless name to others. Arantima knew the name personally however, he knew the heart behind the kawada family the honor that they carried. He was now one of them, but even before then he would have been willing to join their fights and defend their honor.

This Harle.. The Captain of Squad 2. He had never met her, only having heard of her in passing, he would only be at this meeting here as a Member of the kawada family not the Vice captain of Squad 10. He had left his badge in his office and carried his Zanpakuto at his hip alone, his hakama pants and his sword and his new eyepatch covering the useless left eye. He looked out to Shokan as he arrived. "I Will Follow your lead here.. However You know me well enough that you know I would prefer to try and talk first.. " He Smirked to shokan and held his zanpakuto still sheathed on his hip, just resting his hand there on the hilt.

[Tsukuyomi Kawada]

Sitting atop one of the walls that formed the courtyard of the Kawada manor in a cross legged stance in Jizen communicating with his zanpakuto while awaiting the arrival of his supposed enemy for the evening was the young long dark haired Kawada by the name of Tsukuyomi. While he didn't have as strong a connection to the noble family as many of the others due to a number of outstanding variables he had a few that made sure he was here waiting for her challenge. One such thing was the simple fact that the council of the noble family had been controlling him throughout blackmail for some time now and this was just the newest thing on the list of things he didn't actually want to do that they felt the need for him to do.

The young Kawada had no real choice this was a path and a decision that had been made by the elders of the Kawada family and as such he was being forced to await the arrival of the Division Two Captain. Tsukuyomi knew that the chances of victory were in his opponents favor, but regardless because of what the elders knew about him he had no choice and he'd have to face down Harle with every ounce of his power. He had been training to become someone truly powerful and even if this wasn't something that he choice of his own accord it was at least going to be a test of what he could do against a Captain of Soul Society.

Thankfully though at least on behalf of the Kawada elders he wouldn't be fighting Harle alone. Shokan and him had spoken approximately half an hour ago about the affair of things as they were proceeding and he had learned that perhaps the only person in his entire noble family that he felt he got along with was going to face down the Captain as well. Tsukuyomi had left shortly after coming to the courtyard in order to sit in silence and gather himself for the fight to come. As Jizen came to an end with his plans and strategies thought through and discussed with Mikoto and Honshitsu the young Kawada opened his eyes and could see that Shokan wasn't the only one standing in the courtyard awaiting the arrival of Harle.

Tsukuyomi was a fair distance away from them both probably fifty feet while being fifteen off of the ground as he sat on the wall. He unsheathed Unum the newly forged blade that he had worked so hard to perfect only a few days ago. Holding it in his right hand he shifted the angle over and over again looking upon the blade for any sign of weakness or anything that was different than only a few hours ago. After he heard this new comer speak to Shokan he knew that he was going to fight alongside them as well. At least the numbers were on the side of the Kawada tonight. "She won't stop at simple speech. She's already come so far and after what she just did with that criminal backing down is no longer an option for her."

Tsukuyomi spoke loud enough that his voice could carry over to Shokan and Arantima as he looked at the both of them. He had faced off against Shokan a few months prior and he had seen his incredible power first hand. However, unknown to Shokan the young Kawada hadn't given it his all during their sparring session. While powerful and a welcome additional Tsukuyomi wasn't so sure that even together they'd be enough to prevent Harle from success. It took him a moment, but he finally realized who this new addition happened to be. The Vice Captain of Division Ten that had just be appointed recently. He held the same ranking as Tsukuyomi himself, but in terms of deeds or feats Tsukuyomi knew virtually nothing. Just like Shokan though he was still a welcome addition to a battle that in truth he didn't believe they'd emerge victorious.

OOC: To keep this thread moving, and from stalling, a one week wait time will be enacted before posting again. Or, until the participants have already posted. Should the week pass without a single post from the participants, then the thread will move forward. There is no posting order among the participants, so post at will.



The walk wasn't very long, not from a logical standpoint. From the tower to the Main Council Chamber, Harle would have to pass through the courtyard in order to gain access to the main house. The walk wouldn't be very long, only a matter of minutes before she could reach them and put an end to it all. She would have fulfilled all the requirements that Kiname Kawada had placed on her. Douma, the Mercenary, was gone. Vanishing with an artifact that she didn't know about. The small intricate details were those that she had no knowledge. However, an artifact that wouldn't be gone for long. Harle knew that she will have to go after him at one point or another to finish it. That was for certain. Harle and Douma would meet again face to face.

The walk wasn't long, yet, it was longer than what she had expected. Every step that the Captain took appeared to only be centimeters. Each step taken seemed to have taken her several steps back. The Captain was already wounded. A small gash opening on the side of her hip seeping blood as she kept it covered with the pressure of her hand. It didn't stop despite her efforts. Not only that, but the laceration across her leg only added to the amount of effort that was needed to move. Keeping up with the masked man wasn't difficult, but the tactics he employed only kept her at a distance, and outnumbered. It was only through her Bankai that the woman could maneuver as she did. If not for that, it would be possible that the fight could have ended in a far worse scenario. However, on the contrary to her belief, she was in the worst case possible.

The fight with the Mercenary left the Captain drained of much of her reiatsu. The shortness of breath was proof of that much. Harle slowly passed through the narrow underpass towards the courtyard. Her Captain's Haori that was worn as proof of her strength was stained with blots of red fluid. There wasn't any mistake when looking at her that she was injured. The facepaint that she was known to wear frequently was no where to be in sight. Such a mask was not needed for what this moment meant to her. What it would mean for the Kawadas. She was almost at the goal. The sacrifices that were made, the lives lost, all of the effort that she and others had put into this invasion was meant for this moment. For Harle to reach the Council Chamber was of the upmost importance.

Just a bit longer and she would make it. But it wasn't meant to be. Truthfully, it would have been too easy. Douma was only a single aspect to the challenge. This was another; the Kawadas. Three of them as a matter of fact. She knew that there would be Kawadas that wouldn't stand by while Harle marched toward their leaders. Despite besting Jinbei Kawada, risking her own life to stop Douma's invasion, Harle was still seen as a threat. She who brought the traitorous Kawada Elder to justice back to Soul Society in a body bag. None of the other Kawadas had put the effort as she did. None of them went the distance that she put forth. She was the one to stand against the odds of strength and experience in which both opponents had over her. Harle staked everything for this time.

From the shadows did the woman emerge into the light. The supposed "foe" of the Kawadas stood before the three. A Captain among comrades. And yet in this case, those who opposed the other. Two factions with separate thoughts and yet the same goal in mind. The question was, who was more liable? All of this was planned from the moment Harle took the first step into Kawada Territory. Kiname Kawada had orchestrated the entire scenario one after the other. First against Douma, and now the Kawadas. What would be next? Marcus? Images of her parents? All in order to break her down? Harle wouldn't submit. She wouldn't give in. In their eyes Harle stood undaunted at the task at hand. She wouldn't back down if it came down to a fight. Only brushing away the strands of brunette away from the ridge of her nose, their gaze would rest on a beaten woman.

"Zo, are you all here to ztop Harle from going furthzer?" she recited from the back of her mind, knowing to where they may lean to. It wasn't an opinion to one that Harle was tired. The battles before did not help her situation. Fighting wouldn't be the best for the Captain to engage in at the moment. Not if she could persuade them in joining the cause that she presented. There was still a darkness within Soul Society. A darkness in which she would gladly remove. But, in order to do so, she needed the power of the Kawadas. She needed them, just as they needed her. Removing the secondary sheathe, she tossed it to the side. A design very much recognizable to those within the family. Decorated with fine golden trimmings along its edge, the seal of the Phoenix that was sharply engraved into its material; Jinbei's scabbard. The traitor of Soul Society.

Holding vast to her own Zanpakutou's sheathe, the Captain stood before the sights of the three as she pointed the two sides that were present, "Harle will only azk zhiz in zee hopez zhat you will understand zee reaczon zhat Harle iz here.... Will you ztand whizz Harle, o, ztand whizz traitorz of Soul Society?" she said. All she could was wait for their response, and hope for the best.

After the events of Fate of the King Harle has begun to develop her own style of martial arts. Studying upon other martial arts the girl has been able to fuse their individual styles into a single entity. Sanshou, or Chinese Kickboxing, is a free style fighting style that consists of close range and successive punches and kicks. Freely moving the body without restrictions and serving as a foundation to build upon, though, it is through Judo that Harle maintains control of her proximity. In overall performance Judo's influence in this fighting style allows for fluid counters by using hip and throwing techniques in conjunction with it her own body weight. But it is Harle's specialty in Taekwondo that allows the girl to deliver the consistent power that drives this fighting style. Not being too keen with hand to hand, Harle resorts to using her feet to combat. Altogether, the portions of three styles are joined to maximize movement for maximum efficiency with minimum strength.

Shōkan was beginning to become furious. Not only was this woman, whom he already had suspicions of, giving him an ultimatum, she was attempting to use his family against him. He was a prideful man, but first and foremost, he was prideful of his family."You dare come here, using the fact that you murdered my grandfather, as proof of your leadership? I don't know why Jinbei did what he did, but having Kawada blood on your hands does not incline me to aid you." He had a furious look in his harsh steel blue eyes. "The Kawada Clan does need to be reborn, too much corruption, too much bad blood, but I don't trust you. You expect us to believe that Douma had a fit of mercy? how naive do you expect me to be?"

Shōkan glared at Harle, "I had expected to talk to you, attempt to resolve this peacefully, but obviously, you don't care for that option." He took a stand directly in the path into the Kawada Manor, "If you wish to add more of my family's blood onto your hands, to take that which you have no right... You will have to go through me. I can't speak for Tsukuyomi or Arantima, but I suspect they are of a similar disposition. In regards to blood, you have no right. You aren't even adopted into the clan. In regards to actions, you have not endeared yourself to me. The Kawada will rise from the ashes... but not with you."

'Tsukuyomi was right... She has come too far, done too much for her to abandon her quest to steal the Kawada Clan's throne.' Shōkan looked to his left, where Tsukuyomi sat upon the walls. "Tsukuyomi, will you stand with me at my left? To strike against our enemies, and purge the Kawada of their sins?" He turned to his right, where Arantima stood, strong and stoic, "Arantima, my brother, will you stand at my left, to protect and defend against those that mean us harm?" He turned and stared down the Captain of Squad 2, "I will make a stand here and now. The Kawada don't need your chicanery, we need a strong front, to stand tall and say that we may be beaten, but we will never be broken."

"We will rise stronger than ever."

"i give you an ultimatum of my own. Leave now, mayhaps we can work something out peacefully. If you truly desire to help the Kawada in honor of my cousin, Kenryoku, if you truly desire to help us... This need not end with bloodshed. If your intentions are pure we can work with you, but not like this. Otherwise, there is more blood you must shed from my clan before you are allow to take it for yourself. If you want it," He stared deep in her eyes, a look of sheer will that said he would not back down. "Then you'll have to kill me."

Arantima Listened to Both Shokan and Harle Speak. There was a lto that Arantima did not know. There was much history here to be learned and act upon and he had no ground to stand upon, luckily he needed no ground to stand on, he needed no air to breathe, he was the Sleeping dragon caring not for the realities of others instead imposing himself on the world. "As Brother Shoken States. The kawada need to be reborn. The old Bad and rancid blood cut out from the heart and bled until it is pure again. But you have to do this slowly, Replacing the old Blood with new as you go, Ensuring that the new blood you use is strong enough to resist the old taint."

He Drew out his long, long blade and threw it up into the sky to spin before he began to talk again. "i am Arantima Aoire.. I am As I stand before you now.. The weakest, spiritually and physically. But in moments I will bridge that gap And out match you all. I can not stand in the light of your experience.. This much is true.. But standing in the wake of my strength is deadly, Yet I wish to state something before my mind Fogs.. " He catches his blade, not by the hilt but by pushing his finger tip straight upward and stopping the momentum of the blade at its tip. He holds the blade there, a small bead of red drooling down the palm of his hand.

"Every Drop of blood spilt by this blade from this moment until this matter is decided.. is spilt in the hopes that from that passionate act the fires that cleanse the Kawada house can begin to burn. Burn brightly, But Burn guided by the hand of the righteous and just.. Not by the hand of the greedy and Vile. We Stand here, willing to die, All of us Even you Lady Captain.. But do you stand there ready to die FOR House Kawada.. or For yourself? Do you stand alone? Or do you truly beleive that what you are doing will help cleanse this house properly? His Sword burns away, starting from the point of contact with his finger in a gout of pure and golden flame. The Spirit particles flying away like sparks from a fire are like golden fireflies in the air until they to dissipate. Arantima Flows his hands out and around coming to rest in a meditative stance before he stomps with his right foot and shouts loudly, His right hand coming up followed by his left hand before he brings them back down forcefully outstretched to either side down at his own waist height. As he does Twin Shields Scream down from the sky but do not slam down instead stopping in-front of the doorway into the kawada Manor.

Arantima To anyone with Energy sensory skills Has gone from a Dimly lit and overall weak shinigami to a creature of monstrous strength. His physical muscles have bulged and grown, and his spiritual presence, while he exerts absolutely zero gravitational pressure, his spiritual presence is every bit as powerful as many captains. He looks up to harle, meeting her eyes with his own smirking now. What once were kind and thoughtful eyes are now arrogant, almost violent eyes.. "These Sheilds are like doors to you..  With a gentle hand shall they open.. But attempt to break them down and you will only prove that your goal is to destroy the house they protect."

OOC: Just like before, a one week limit will be placed before the next post. Last day will be on the upcoming Sunday. If no posts are in, then the thread will move on.


Two of the three spoke their minds. Both of them putting forth their devotion to the House, and that of their own cause. They were truly admirable to protect the family. Harle couldn't say anything against such strong wills, despite how they were being deceived. The two parties had many similarities in terms of goals for the Kawadas. Harle agreed to what the first Kawada had brought up. Shokan Kawada. The eldest among the family's ranks. Harle made certain that her knowledge on Kawada Members was thorough. Shokan Kawada was one of the few among the family that had a more zealous personality. For reasons she knew of that compelled him to do so strongly. Among the Kawadas, he was probably the more ambitious of the three present. However, that could change at any moment in time as the third was seemingly familiar, yet continued to allude the Captain his face remained distant from her.

Shokan spoke of the names of the other Shinigami present. He spoke of many things, one concerning the death of Jinbei Kawada. Harle immediately understood his reasoning for his outburst. This was already considered the moment she drew the artifact from her garbs. Yet, judging from his reaction, he knew very little to the Elder Council's objective. What Kiname Kawada had told her. If that was the case, then none of the Kawadas would have known as to what was about to happen to them. Harle couldn't allow that to happen. She stepped forward. With her hand she drew Zanpakutou. It's blade was shorter than the two that stood across from her, but it wouldn't matter. They wouldn't stand a chance. "Harle undsrztandz zhiz very well. From ze both of you."

The spiritual pressure from the one referred to as Arantima erupted. It climbed to such heights that may be an issue to the Captain. Although, this was not the first time she would have fought those with higher levels of spiritual pressure than herself. Many instances she faced foes with greater potential and strength than that of Arantima. While such strength was impressive, it lacked a steady hand that was forged by experience. "Harle iz not blood. Harle doez not know of ze Kawadaz very well. Howevah, Harle iz here to zee to it zhat zee Kawadaz live on. Fo zhat reazon iz why Harle iz here, now." She continued her approach. "You zay zhat ze Kawadaz do need to change just az much az Harle zinks zo. You zay zhat ze Kawadaz will rize ztronger zan evah, but.... how willz zat be if zhere iz no more a Kawada Houze? Do you know zhat ze Kawadaz will be no more after ze Elder Council sellz it?"

Kiname Kawada had already spoke of the matter while she was with Souza. All of his plans to "save" the Kawadas was to sell the House to that of another Noble House. Under the so called protection of Sozen Kuichiki. A ruthless man in reputation alone, who was speaking with the heads of their government, Central 46. Souza Kuichiki, the son of Sozen, would be able to do with the household however he pleased. Their individuality would slowly be lost under Sozen's influence, and those beneath would turn to slaves under the Kuichiki Household. In the expansion of this, the Kawadas will survive, however, they would be in servitude to the Kuichiki's, primarily of that of Sozen Kuichiki. This meant that the Kawadas would lose their land, and possibly their people. Souza spoke of how his father was in an ill manner. She had trust in the young Kuichiki Heir, and for that reason she couldn't allow it to happen. But it wasn't just that....

"Zee Elder Council planz on zelling zee Kawadaz ovah to Sozen Kuichiki. Thuz, lozing zee land and zee rightz of zee people. Kiname Kawada haz told Harle of zhiz himzelf. But, zat izn't zee only concern zat Harle had." Harle continued to speak, drawing closer and closer to the pair. Her Zanpakutou gripped tightly in her leathered hand. This matter pertained to what Jinbei had said to the Captain, "Jinbei Kawada, zee man who waz convicted of treacion againzt Soul Society, planned to attack Soul Society. And he planned to do zo whiz zee Kawada Family." Harle had documented everything that was said and done in their encounter. The only facts that she left out was the involvement with the Arrancar. This was meant to be left out to avoid fear to spread around in the general public. For that reason, it was inserted into a different report, one disclosing the more sensitive materials for the other Captain's to partake of.

These reports were not distributed. This was to happen once Harle took hold of control over the Kawads. However, should it have ended in failure, it was to be sent regardless after this day. It had to be known what happened. "Jinbei Kawada wanted to uze Harle to inzure zat zhiz will happen. To prepare ze Kawadaz in zee attack on Soul Society. Az ze result, Harle...." Was there really more to say. The scabbard that lied lifelessly on the ground to the side was evident to the result. If Harle had gone with Jinbei and his offer, then at this time the Captain would have had control over the Kawadas without resistance or effort. Jinbei would have taught her how to subjugate the Noble House to insure their allegiance. All of it done to insure that Soul Society would fall to the Noble House of Kawada.

"Harle iz un Zhinigami first, en foremost. Harle's duty iz to Soul Society, and fo zat reacion Harle killed zee Kawada." Her palms tensed, feeling the droplets of blood that stained her hands fall freely through the spaces of her fingers. The same blood that she was stained with from helping those who survived the Mercenary's attack on the tower. So many wounded and dead. The Captain did what she could to help, and to end it. "Harle haz no evidence to zupport zhat zee Elder Council may know about zhis arrangement whizz Jinbei Kawada. And if zhat iz zo, zhen all of you will have to choose. Zat zame choice zhat Harle iz prezenting to you now." she said.

"Harle waz zhere when Monseiur Kenryoku waz a Capitane. Harle waz zhere to lead zee Tsunami when zee Capitane pazzed. She waz zhere when Jinbei Kawada wanted to deztroy ze World of ze Living. And even now, Harle was zhere when ze Masked Man attacked, to help zhoze zat were hurt and needed help. Harle cried out, less than five feet away from the pair as her own eyes erased the gentle woman she once was moments ago. [color=yellow}"Where were you, Monseiurs?"[/color] Her advanced ceased. She didn't step any farther then to where she stood then. Her eyes keen on passing. Every piece of the woman was there to advance, continuing to grow as she experienced more than she could realize if she fought. The people who were dying from their work efforts in the lower areas of the Kawadas. How they fought for jobs and a living to support their families. She saw the pain of those less fortunate than those who stood before her. She was as those workers were. Harle knew from experience.

She looked to an arrogant man. Arantima, who pondered if the Captain was here for selfish reasons, or for the Kawadas. Her answer was both. If the Kawadas continued as they were, it wouldn't be long before their blades were to be turned on Soul Society. But not only that. The darkness that plagued the Kawada Council wasn't small. Judging from the conversation with Kiname, and that of Souza Kuichiki, the darkness was everywhere. And it had to be purged. For that reason, "If zhere iz blood to be spilled, zen.. Clank The Zanpakutou was dropped. The Zanpakutou that belonged to the Captain of Squad Two fell to the floor beside her, leaving the woman without a weapon to fight with, "..it will not be Harle's blade zat will do it." she said, putting forth her conviction against theirs.

"Whiz all zat haz happened until, blood o no blood, Harle haz ze only right." There, Harle took another step forward towards the Kawadas. It did not matter to Harle if there were those who would stand in her way, or that of a barrier made of spiritual strength, she was going to pass. One way or another. "Harle iz speaking of zomething zat she knowz zat might be wrong, but, will ztandz whizz Harle, or ze traitorz zat allow ze Kawadaz to be zhis way?"

[Tsukuyomi Kawada]

Tsukuyomi continued to sit in the same position that he had been in for the last few minutes. He was careful not to let his guard down and keep his eyes on Harle to make sure she couldn't do anything within his knowing. He had always been a very quiet individual and right now while Shokan gave his speech and Harle gave her own in return and it seemed to just continue as if a political debate was going to lead to the biggest decision in recent years for the Kawada family. Right now it just put on display how much of a loner Tsukuyomi was when compared to the others of his family even the new adoptee was more up and front.

When Shokan asked if Tsukuyomi would stand by his side the young Kawada didn't say a word instead simply nodding his head slightly signaling that his blade was on his side and the side of his family. As both sides continued to speak Tsukuyomi realized that this would be the perfect time to simply execute one of the forbidden techniques that he banned by his own restrains to simply strike Harle down while she spoke. Such an attack would more than likely not work as even injured as she was she happened to be the Captain of the Second Division. Sneak attacks more than likely would be easily pulled off against her. Tsukuyomi finally had enough though.

"We know you killed Jinbei, we know you did it for Soul Society. We know that he was planning to attack Soul Society. We also know that the council at the moment is a problem Harle. What you seem not to get though is that we already are moving forward with taking care of everything. While you stand there claiming about how you've done so much for the family have you ever stopped and wondered just what you have done against it? For instance you just allowed a precious artifact to be stolen from the family by a mercenary rogue that you were unable to best. Simply so he would leave you alone. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds very selfish and in reality an action not only against the Kawada, but Soul Society as well."

"A real Shinigami wouldn't make a deal with a rogue. A real Shinigami especially a Captain would die giving it everything in their power to kill their opponent. You served under one of the former Heads of this family for many years. Perhaps you simply want to take over the Kawada because you never got the chance to join by his hand. I don't know enough to say, but what I can say is that you're not welcome nor worthy anymore. I'm the last person to praise this so called noble family, but soon this family really will be cleansed. Not by you, but by fire itself. We're the phoenix of Soul Society and you will either burn up and die trying to tame that which you have dishonored or you will leave here now and be allowed to live." Tsukuyomi was finished speaking.

Arantima had released into Shikai and for the first time Tsukuyomi was seeing the ability that the Vice Captain of Division Ten possessed. It was quite odd actually. A family with the crest of a phoenix and yet all three present seemed to have zanpakuto that related to fire in some way. Shokan would finish speaking to Harle more than likely either way Tsukuyomi had given his opinion on the matter. Talking for so long was boring. If she wanted to tame the phoenix than she'd have to defeat all three of them and Tsukuyomi whether he was doing this of his own free will or not was going to throw the fifty percent of his true strength that he could at her and hope it would be enough.

Arantim Hears a lot of "We" And a lot of kawada History, some of which seems to be fact, some of which seems to be conjecture. He stops and looks around at all those gathered and cracks a smirk. There is a lot of high tension and a lot of self righteousness being flung around, Arantima's own self righteousness he knows is what it is, he manufactured it that way. He is arrogance, he is strength when he is released, he has the air of a dragon looking down on those around him but at least he is aware of it. He may not curb his arrogance but he is fully aware of it.

He looks to Shokan, Another Arrogant man with His eyes set on a prize that is far far too grand to be met this soon. He knows what little of His Past shokan has shared with him and he knows he has reason to be, reasons to think that way. He is strong, he  is powerful but he still has none of the standing required to do what he desires. Tsukyomi is a strange and silent man, the Kawada of Shadows, dark shadow flame.. That is all he knows of the man but even he has an air of arrogance about him and one that really only seems to be tied to his name and his Rank as Vice captain. And what of this artifact? What was this thing that was supposedly stolen? How did they know it was stolen?

He Looks between Shokan and Tsukyomi and then to Harle, all the intentions there are true.. At least from what Arantima can see. He Scoffs gently and then lets that evolve into a slight chuckle. He steps forward, in front of Shokan and in front of Tsukyomi. The Tall shinigami lithe and imposing his Golden spiritual pressure Rising off of him and burning in his eyes. "I do not know these names. I do not know what you are speaking of when you speak of an artifact.. That scabbard there does neither insult me nor incense me.. " He sweeps a hand out before him as if throwing trash away. "What does matter to me.. Is that you are taking the wrong approach to this. It is your way, or the highway.. Or more accurately from the looks of things.. your way or the maggots nest. You threw down your blade so I dont think you would kill us. but you would disgrace us, or try to. "

He Takes another couple of steps, Stopping when he reaches about Seventy feet away from his shields, casting a glance back towards them hesitantly. "And from what i am hearing.. this is understandable. you had dealings with some of the most extreme individuals imaginable.. Peoples whose philosophies WERE My way or die.. And you had to survive with them. I understand.  But you have felt what i am have you not? A Creature whose strength is locked away only able to be grasped in short spurts. One must ask How I attained this." He looks back towards shokan a moment before looking back to harle, his golden Gaze Determined now, not Going for intimidation but Purpose, persuasion, Truth.

He takes a Soft breath and lets his shoulders relax before speaking once more "I know what it is to have an ideal. Something you are willing to die to acheive. But you being willing to die, and being willing to destroy the lives of others to attain it.. There is a difference. One is Noble, One is Tyranny and disgraceful.. I understand the need to Root out corruption from its roots but one must discover where those roots are before deciding to burn the tree down. You can Take out the disease without destroying what is there. If this ideal is how you will lead the Kawada? You will never be accepted. You will be known as a tyrannical charlatan who is nothing but a circus clown ploying for false fame and false power. Show that you know what it means to truly lead, Show that you know that it requires a delicate hand to fight corruption. And show me.. Most importantly. that you are not so weak as to make a deal rather than call out to us for aide, becuase had i known of an attack, had i the chance to come? I'd have been there beside you, bleeding and dieing."

There was no lie.. No dishonesty in his words. Arantima Was speaking from his soul. Had he the chance to Come and aid those in need hed have been there, he was the kind of man who would fight with a broken Zanpakuto, with all his great strength sealed against a stronger foe just to ensure that one more person had a chance to live. this Soul reaper was an enigma, neither filled with light nor tainted by darkness, but a grey area. A Dragon among angels and Demons who walked and analysed them all, he saw both sides, the selfish and greed and the lure of it, the altruistic sides and the merits of them.. and walked the line between both.
