I am aware that i am naught but a newbie and haven't even completed a character as of yet but i cant help but notice one small spot of bother that i think can be dealt with to ease the fear of regret some might have. As i understand it those that choose to begin as Training Tier will in the end have a 200 stat advantage over those that chose to start higher up on the ladder.
I do understand this is to reward and incentivize a more common low to mid-rank player base but would suggest a path being available for those who chose not to be Training Tier for whatever reason to also possibly gain those extra stats. I am thinking once they reach the maximum of 1600 sp the last 200 points are either traded in at an incredibly over inflated price or accessed only in small amounts from high-end plotlines.
Something to force them to make the same effort that Training Tier characters had to dish out to get where they want to be.

That belies the whole point of starting at training tier. It's meant so that if you start from the bottom, and are able to rise organically to the top, you get these bonuses. It's actually exceedingly rare to actually complete. Giving Power Tier the same bonuses would give people no reason to put in the effort for Training tier characters. It's about balance. You start stronger at the expense of future strength. However, that 200 SP really doesn't hold you back, the strongest characters on site are all PT. As I see it, there's no real need to change it, it's an effective rule.

Stats aren't really aren't that important at the highest levels of power, it's more about having useful techniques, creative ability use, bonuses for holding a rank, and a healthy dose of personally influencing the battle.
So just start at the class you want to, and don't worry so much about stats.
