Oblivion awaits Osaka (DP, Medium)

Keria was surprised at the speed of the hollow. It had managed to speed right passed her faster than she was able to react to it, even though she had already sensed it before it came into view. She turned her head barely catching it exiting the subway station. It was unclear if the presence of the hollow really meant anything or not. The hollow could have been here purely out of coincidence or drawn here by whatever was going on here. There was still the possibility that the hollow was the cause of it, but if that was the case, why didn't it attack her when she was alone. It flew by so fast that it seemed that it wasn't even interested in a confrontation. Now that it was in the open air it would be harder to track and fight. 

She heard the sound of footsteps turning back down the tunnel saw two shinigami running right at her. No doubt they were following the hollow with the intent to kill it. Neither one of them seemed all that powerful, at least compared to herself. None the less she was on guard though she did not show it. “Did you kill all of these people here?” The question made Keira narrow her glare at the female shinigami. It was stupidity and assumptions like this that made her hate society in any form. She had no patience for people that would sooner accuse people of killing people than try to ask what was going on first. And these were the supposed peace keepers of the worlds. 

"You better watch where you place your accusations." She started darkly. "They may get you into very unfavorable situations." The shinigami would continue to show how much gall she had by dismissing her. “We don’t have time to be quarreling with you actually. We are after a Hollow that has just flown by here.” Before Keira could respond, she grabbed the hand of the other female shinigami and vanished. Keira knew that the one that spoke to her had used shunpo to get around her. She would quickly follow them back where she came. There seemed to be little else of interest in the subway anyway. Using her energy senses, she was able to track down the shini and join them on their perch. She had a better view than they did which interested her more than the two themselves. 

"Well things might be getting interesting after all." Keira said to herself crossing her arms.

[Amare Mori]

The Fullbringer was victorious against this creature and although he had managed to eliminate it quickly and keep it from harming anyone else to his knowledge aside form whoever had been in this alleyway his aright arm would hurt. The creature hadn't had enough time to be successful, but the arm of the human was damaged. The tongue had managed to cause some internal bleeding as it damaged to muscles and put stress on the bones themselves as it had been trying to break the arm at the elbow. Although failure had been the end result this human would still feel some pain and using that arm would only cause further of it.

The question now though was what was this thing? Where did it come from? Are there more of them? Were are all of the citizens? Who's making them if someone is? How is he going to stop them all if they're more? So many questions and the only thing he had as a clue was the body now in front of him with his Fullbring still inside of it's split head. This wasn't going to be easy, but when did a true hero ever have an easy day?

Amare flailed his arm frantically to dislodge the tongue, now that he had dispatched the beat. "Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew. That's so gross." He uttered, the flailing limb finally throwing the disgusting, slimy thing aside. His arm hurt, but he'd deal with it. No different than a day after joint locks or seionage practice, right? Simple as that. He'd deal. Bruises were no big deal. Now, from here, he had vanquished the beast! He looked around, to see if he could find a way up to the rooftop it had been. No doubt that was where it had dragged the hapless victim previously. The one he'd heard scream. Amare investigated the alleyway to see if he could find a way up, and when he failed, he walked out of the alley, allowing his sword to turn back into a scarf. He walked around the building he had seen the creature climb, seeing if there was a way he could climb the building, whether there be a ladder, or.... well. Anything, really. The truth was, Amare wasn't asking himself "what was that thing?" He was more interested in what had happened to whoever had been screaming. And he figured to check out where he'd seen the nasty bugger attack from.

[Angel]

The medic had a bit of trouble keeping up with Angel, and so she slowed down a little bit as to not leave her behind. The Shinigami were fortunate not to run into conflict with any of these infected humans as to put it, but when she ran into contact with the failure, things immediately turned downhill. The Failure seemed to be a bit irritated about being accused of killing all of those humans, and obviously she had bad hearing. Angel obviously needed to assert herself as the Failure threatened her. “Obviously...you seem to be hard of hearing. I didn’t accuse you of anything. I asked you if you killed all of these people. It’s a simple yes or no question, although you could of course state your claim. Although I don’t want to be put in an “unfavorable” position.We don’t have time to be quarreling with you actually. We are after a Hollow that has just flown by here.”

Thus Angel had flashed off, grabbing Musuhina much to her visual dismay to the rooftop of a building. She felt the recoil of the Shunpo, with the added weight of Musuhina. She had heard the verbal dismay of the medic before Angel rubbed her legs. “I apologize. I’ll warn you next time medic-san. I seem to have strained my legs a bit...so I probably won’t be doing that to you again.” She then at the moment scanned her eyes across the area, but instead of finding a Hollow, she found a human down below saying about how disgusting something was as he began to unwrap...something from his arm. The next thing she saw was that he was armed, and he then turned his weapon into a scarf.

That was something that set off a bit of a bell in her head as she immediately wondered if this fellow was a Fullbringer or something of the like. He seemed to be so as she knew general knowledge of how their common day items became their releases. Immediately she called out to the fellow down below. “Oi! Up here!” She had waved her hand as she took the liberty to then quite literally use the airground to walk down to him...on thin air as she gathered reiatsu particles at her feet. Once at ground level, she decided to inquire him. “Gomenosai. I know this is odd, but have you seen a flying bird creature with a white mask on it’s face? It is detrimental we find this creature immediately for the safety of people. My name is Nisei Hikari, although you may call me Angel. My partner is named Musuhina Kesshino. She is a medic.”

The youthful Shinigami was hoping to enlist some aid from a local to see if he could tell her a bit about where she needed to go if he could. If not, perhaps he would be at least in a better mood than the walking bomb she met a while ago. Angel looked to be no older than fourteen at most, but that was irrelevant. What she needed right now was information. She then turned to look at the corpse before feeling a bit alarmed. “What...happened here? Corpses are turning up left and right for no apparent reason.” She then waited for an answer.

[Musuhina Kesshino]

After recomposing herself, Musuhina was surprised that the Failure that they met reappeared a few seconds later. Thankfully she didn't seem to be in as much of a hostile mood as she thought moments ago. Giving the Failure a nod as an...odd sort of greeting, Musuhina looked down at the streets to examine their surroundings. The streets below appeared to be dotted with several people walking with a shaky pace. Upon closer examination, it looked like they were trying to come together to form some kind of mob.

"Just what in the Hell is causing these corpses to start walking? There has to be someone or something pulling their strings.". However as she thought to herself, or thought out loud in this case, Angel had ended up heading down from their vantage point to greet a young man that she'd seen. Slightly reluctant to give up their perch, Musuhina decided it was best to stick with her partner. Giving the Failure a wave to follow her, Musuhina jumped off of the building before safely landing on her feet. She have the new stranger a bow before adding to Angel's words "If you needs any wounds tended to then you should probably tell me now. Judging from the corpses massing towards one point, we might not get another chance for a while now."

From the looks of the blood on him, it looked like he could handle himself about as well as the other person they'd met. Also upon thinking back to the aftermath of the Failure's own battle, it looked like she could handle several enemies at once with those hands of hers. Of course if whatever is effecting these people can probably just bring them back. The only course of action was clear to her now if she was right. "If we're going to end this then we'll have to find whatever is causing this effect, otherwise the dead will just get back up again. We'd be wasting our time by just cutting them down. All we need is someone that can sense the source's location. And if not, then we'll need to find a way to.".

Amare heard someone call out to him from above. A hint!? A fellow investigator or hero!? Amare's eyes glanced up, and saw.... an angel. No. Two angels! Their heavenly aura radiated from them as if they glowed. Coal black hair, both of them-- no, to compare their hair to coal was an insult. It was the night! Black as the night. The endless dark void, which could be stared into endlessly and deeply. One's hair was of medium length, the other somewhat shorter. Both were short, but that bore nothing on their radiant beauty! Amare's eyes were aglow, basking in their aura. Almost such that he didn't hear what they said beyond that. But then..... That would be incomparably rude! And being rude to two such magnificent creatures would be simply and horribly uncool! Amare focused in on what the one with longer hair asked of him. She asked him if he had seen a flying creature with a mask on its face. Anyone else would have found the question, somewhat absurd. But not Amare. Hollows, they were called. Invisible beasts, that preyed on the helpless. Asuka had taught him about them. In time they could become arrancar like her and Li Mei. The woman introduced herself as Nisei Hikari, though her nickname of Angel-- "Ahhh~ What a marvelously fitting name!" Amare exclaimed. "It truly encapsulates your essence, Madame Angel~" He said blissfully. She also introduced her comrade, Mushina Kesshino, a medic. "And a most noble calling!" He stated, looking down the alleyway. "My name is Amare Mori, the Knight of Japan!" He declared proudly, resting his hand on the pommel of his sword, the tip planted on the cement ground, head raised high, standing in what he presumed to be a proud and noble pose. ....But truly came across as someone attempting what they thought was a proud and noble pose.

"Sadly, I must say that I have not seen the beast you seek." He said. He noticed her gaze pass towards the alleyway. "H-hold milady Angel! There's no need to investigate there! A savage creature assailed me in the alleys there! I was forced to slay it, but the sight is not pretty! Far beneath the gaze of one such as yourself!" He stammered out. "Ahem.... As I was saying..." he noted. "What you are looking for sounds to be a Hollow! I have encountered their ilk before!" Best not to mention that Amare's previous encounters with Hollows had generally involved him fleeing from them. That would just be plain uncool. Speaking of uncool, the medic had just offered to heal his wounds. Amare was torn. Which was the more impressive option!? On the one hand, he could accept her offer. Allow the beauteous angel to treat the minor bruises he had sustained in his fight with the creature in the alley. But then.... that would be admitting that he had suffered damage from it, and that such minor injuries were too much for him to bear! No, no, no! That was not tolerable. Not cool at all!

"Your offer fills my heart with joy and bliss, Miss Kesshino. But I am quite fine!" He said, with a wide and friendly smile. She spoke of the dead rising, giving Amare pause for thought. Was that what was happening? The dead walking? "Surely.... surely that is impossible." He stated. "I agree, that if this is what you are witnessing there must be another power at work here! Perhaps it's a more powerful Hollow. Or an arrancar? Asuka-sensei sometimes mentioned that some Arrancar come to cause havoc." He noted, displaying what was possibly a stunning display of knowledge of the Spirit world for what could have been taken for a civilian. As well as his.... other quirks. Though to be fair his LACK of knowledge had not yet come to light. Amare didn't even realize that he was face to face with Shinigami; the mortal enemies of his former teacher. Today was cropping up to be a most interesting adventure indeed....

[Angel]

The human fellow down below had turned at her calling him, and he seemed awestruck by their appearance. Was this the first time that he had met Shinigami personally? If this was the case, she should try and get this person inducted as a substitute soul reaper if he had the aptitude to be a benefit to the Seireitei. Although...he seemed to be fawning at her introduction and the title of Musuhina. She listened to the man introduce himself as Mori Amare, the night of Japan and Angel couldn’t help but visibly cringe at the title. Knight of Japan? That was the most Western thing she has heard in awhile. He could have at least had the decency to call himself Samurai. She assumed the sword that he held was his fullbring. “Well...it is nice to meet you. Mori-San. About that creature...”

The Fullbringer had said he had not seen the Hollow she was describing, but had indeed clarified that he knew what Hollows were. As for the creature dead in the alleyway, she would approach it with a frown on her face. It was like before...this was once a human being. “Not good enough for my gaze? I find evil everyday and quell it for a living.” She would slowly turn her back to the creature before looking to Amare. Musuhina had just offered to heal the fellow and he denied it saying he was fine.

“I can see the strangle marks on your neck. One thing that women don’t like are arrogant men who think they can carry the weight on their shoulders. So get healed. We want you to help us restore a state of order to Osaka and in order to do that, we need to find the source of this chaos and eliminate it. As for the dead walking. I don’t think that is what is going on here. I have a far more different theory based off of what we learned in the Academy. I believe there is a Hollow that is inserting it’s Reirokyu into human beings and corrupting them which is causing them to behave heavily like Hollows. They seem to be looking for the greatest spiritual pressures and hunting them out. The people that are affected are acting heavily like Hollows as well. My theory is that woman from before who killed all of those...infected people had the highest Spiritual Pressure and was thus hunted down first. While we were ignored. If that is the case, we must hunt down this enemy immediately before the problem gets out of hand. We should also inform the Seireitei of this predicament. It has been a week since our deployment...we have no idea how out of hand the situation might already be.” Angel drew her Katana as she slowly stepped out into the alleyway on the street.

“You said you were the Knight of Japan which means you fight for a noble cause. I propose you help us. Not for a reward of any kind but for the moral stake of what is at risk. If we are not successful in destroying this threat, likely all of Osaka will be destroyed. However, with no way to track our target, we will be searching like bats with cotton in their ears. We need to find the source and eliminate it. Any ideas on how we will do that?”

As the individuals that had found themselves in the city of Osaka on perhaps one of the worst days that had passed over the city of Japan in recent years spoke to one another something was happening beneath the surface of the city's skin. The Shinigami and the Failure had all felt the tunnels of the subway thinking that the bird Hollow had left when in fact it had simply traveled along the lines of the train route after the train that had been present while all of them had descended into the tunnels.

As they stood speaking to one another yet before the next set of answers could be made towards the questions that had been asked suddenly they'd all be able to hear the sounds of something being destroyed. There was no explosion, but something solid was just blown apart by brute force and in the moments that followed all throughout Osaka were the screams of humans running away in freight at the sight of the zombies that terrorized the streets.

It didn't matter what any of them did as they heard the sounds of the screams for in the moment that followed suddenly the building that was next to them that had already been used against the human was smashed into by the giant bird Hollow. The building was almost completely brought down in a moment and the Hollow simply lay there howling in pain as it's body struggled to get up and fight off what was on it.

If any of them looked now after hopefully getting some distance between them and the destroyed building that had only been a few meters from them. They'd be able to just barely make out the appearance of human like figures on the Hollow tearing feathers and flesh alike off of the Hollow with their hands and mouths. There was a massive dust cloud around them all now and if they weren't careful something could happen to any of them.

That just seemed to be the case as in the moments that followed suddenly all at once a long tongue identical to the one that human Amare had encountered during his first exchange were now all rushing towards each of them from the cover of the dust. Each tongue moved towards their necks at a speed of 250. If they didn't do anything the tongues would wrap around their throats and while beginning to strangle them they'd be pulled towards the dust cloud.

[Angel]

Angel had found herself ending the conversation between them all as there was a rumbling noise. She could hear the sound of stone shattering seemingly as screams of innocent human beings followed. Angel had immediately stepped out of the alleyway as she began to chant an incantation. It was one of her specialties as she had been spending time learning spiritual arts within the Seireitei as requirements for her job as a member of the seventh division. Stepping out to the alleyway, she saw a new threat and enemy she didn’t think she was going to be running into. Human beings. This was grave as it turned out maybe that failure had been doing a good thing. Angel was going to deal with one of them before something slammed into the nearby building.

She had backed up as she yelled light in surprise as the ground rumbled and a nearby building crumbled and fell to pieces. There it was, the bird hollow she saw before as it screamed in agony at the human like zombies crawling up on top of it and consuming it. It was this that was more troubling than anything. The humans that were affected were behaving just like a Hollow would...eating anything and everything they could get their hands on. She looked with disgust as she was brought back to thoughts of that...day. The cloud of dust around them made it hard to see...so she didn’t rely on that. She relied on her other senses.

Soon enough, she could hear something being shot at almost bullet speed and briefly make out it’s shape as it kicked up the dust to make it move in a certain way. Angel had held her hand out in front of her face. “Bakudo#9:Geki!” A large red beam of energy would shoot out and attempt to immobilize the tongue making it freeze before the young Shinigami would take the liberty to use the flash step to follow the tongue trail and find her foe. She used her skill in both analysis and battle analysis to estimate where the shooter was. Upon finding her foe, she would swiftly in one deft blow swing with full strength with her katana to slice open her enemy’s throat and quite possibly slice the head right off.

She would deal with everything else that comes her way as it comes to her. ‘What the fuck is going on here?! What the hell are these things and where did they come from?’ She would think this to herself as she prepared herself for further danger. Her katana held tightly in her left hand and her right hand prepared to launch kido at any dangerous monster that comes close. She wasn’t the strongest but her Kido was way better than her martial art skills. Musuhina was with the others...hopefully they could save her from trouble.

Keira was deep in thought trying to figure out what to do about all the zombies in the city. She was wondering if that hollow she was chasing had anything to do with it. It seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere, which did make it a bit less likely. She rubbed her chin resting in the arm that she had been riding in this whole time. She kept the other two beside her just in case something happened to come by and attack them. Her mind was trying to piece together the puzzle while the others talked. Suddenly a loud crash could be heard causing her to turn her head to the building that was starting to collapse on them. Using her quick wit and intellect in science, she could predict how it was going to fall and move to avoid the majority of derbies using the other two arms to shield herself.

She sat a few yards from the location of the building looking around with her keen eyes. She could see the hollow that she was after, but something was wrong. It was in pain. She could see the dust cloud around it, and it thrashing about. She could make out the figures of humans like the ones that she had killed before going into the subway. They were eating the hollow. Well that seemed to confirm her suspicions that it was not the cause of the zombies. She wondered if it might have been one of the ones she was keeping in the asylum. Did one get loose and go out infecting people? No impossible, they lacked any sort of will of their own. 

Long tongue like things would come at them fast, but not nearly fast enough to get Keira. One of her reiatsu hands intercepted the tongue long before it came into reach of her body. It easily kept it at bay. She would follow the length of the tongue back to the mass around the hollow. One of the shinigami had gone ahead attacking with her sword. Foolish girl. She thought moving herself, and her other hand, up above the hand holding the tongue. Orbs of blue fire would appear in her hands as she spoke the incantation. “Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens.”

She had just learned this technique, and have yet to really master it at all. She didn't even want to try using it with one of her arms, let alone try and preform the incantation non verbally. The fire would get stronger, more intense. "Hado #73: Sōren Sōkatsui" She would throw the two balls of fire at the hollow covered in zombies. She didn't know what exactly caused the tongues to come at them, but she was sure that this one technique would get them all. It was a shame to lose the hollow though. It would have made an excellent test subject. She watched the orbs flying at the hollow hitting it with strength of 975 watching everything burn before her. It might have been overkill, but it was efficient overkill.


Hado #73: Sōren Sōkatsui -400 2225/2700

(apologies if this post is a little off. It's 9:45am and I have not slept since yesterday. I'll come back and check through this later today for any problems).


Angel pressed for details and went into the alleyway to investigate, regardless of Amare's protests. With a heavy sigh of resignation, Amare followed after Angel. "If you insist.... I heard a woman shriek down this alley, and came to see if I could help her. Alas, by the time I arrived, there was no trace, and this vile beast set itself upon me with a devious surprise attack." He told her. Angel finished her examination then admonished Amare for refusing healing, quite sternly. "Oh.... very well.... as you command, milady." Amare replied almost glumly as he submitted himself for healing. Angel went on to discuss her theory. Much of the terminology went over Amare's head however. While Asuka had given him a woefully inadequate and inaccurate[/i] general idea of the spiritual world, most of their work together had been combat training. Improving Amare's reflexes, strength, speed and tactics, rather than generation of reiatsu. As such, terms like reirokyu were nothing but gibberish to the Fullbringer. However he understood her conclusions.

"I see! I see! So we cut off the head of the snake before it can bite another, and the rest of the body will die, yes? Very good! I am in favor of this strategy!" Amare declared, smiling. When Angel asked for his aid, he gave a fluorishing bow. "It would be my pleasure, milady Angel! I shall fight with my very life on the line for your purpose if need be!" He stated. "I swear it on my honor and on my sword!" He stated, raising the blade in front of his face as though taking an oath. "But ah.... alas. I do not know how we might track it. Could we search from the air, somehow? Find high ground? I understand Hollows to normally be quite massive, hulking beasts, and it would be difficult for one to hide if it is actively moving about." He suggested. Something else came to his mind. "Ah, that reminds me. You two.... you seem different. You do not appear to be human... and you do not have mask fragments... so you cannot be Arrancar..." Amare gasped. "Oh! Those blades and robes! Yes! Lady Asuka spoke of you! You... you must be Sparkle Wizards!" Amare proclaimed, pleased with himself for remembering the term his instructor had used for the Arrancar's spiritual counterpart.

Then a distant rumbling could be felt, and Amare immediately set himself on guard. The next instant the building beside them shattered and collapsed, and Amare gasped. "I-Is that the Hollow you spoke of!?" He exclaimed, seeing the massive birdlike creature. He also saw the creatures atop of it, assaulting the beast. "What is this!? Dissent in the ranks!?" Having already faced the creatures once before, Amare was not surprised by their speed or the lashing tongues that snapped out toward them. However, he realized, with a pit in his stomach that he had not warned the two angelic women that had come here! Though Angel was already reacting, Amare did not know if Musuhina would be as quick. She was a medic afterall, not a front line combatant. So Amare did exactly what was most natural to him. He did not seek to defend against the tongue hurtling out at him, instead timing and delivering a powerful hewing blow to the air in front of Musuhina, having timed the blow so well as to shear through the beast's tongue before it could reach her. This did, of course, mean that he did not defend himself and the other beast's tongue wound its way around his own throat, and began to sharply jerk him toward the dust cloud. Well.... seeing how it's already snared me.... I may as well take the battle to it! At least it'll be much cooler than struggling with it stupidly out here! Amare gripped his blade and lunged towards the beast whose tongue was attempting to strangle him. "DEATH OR GLOOOOOOOORY!" Amare roared as he used the creature's own pull against it to catapult himself at the monster, flying towards it like an azure comet. His blade flashed in a single swift blow aimed at the creature's neck as he aimed to decapitate the horrible thing in one clean strike. Having already sliced through the tongue of the creature attacking Musuhina and with his own decapitating blow, plus Angel's own apparent skill, Amare believed that this would take three of the monsters out of the running immediately.

Plus having been pulled into the dust cloud, Amare would be near striking range of the bird Hollow.

It seemed that even while there was a cloud of dust in front of them giving cover to their enemy everyone present was ready to engage once again in battle. The young dark haired Shinigami was quick to cast Geki wordlessly causing the tongue to freeze in place and then in the next instant she rushed her foes inside of the dust cloud. Slashing the head from the former human that had just used it's tongue in an attempt to attack her the Shinigami known as Angel began her assault against the zombies that were now near them all.

As she prepared for others to rush her awaiting the attacks being ready to defend herself from them something unthinkable happened. Everything started to get hot as the blue flames that had just been crafted by the pink haired Failure were thrown at the bird Hollow causing its death and everything around it to burst into flames. Many of the zombies that had arrived alongside the Hollow were now dead, but Angel was close enough that while she wasn't directly effected the heat from the flames caused minor burns on the left side of her body. Team work didn't seem to be something any of them thought to be important.

Angel wasn't the only one hurt by the sheer heat of the flames though as Amare had also charged ahead after saving Mushina he as well managed to overcome the zombie that was quickly wrapping it's tongue around his throat. He was save enough, but was quickly suffering more and more wounds as now his neck and throat were dark red and would hurt as if he had just be struck by something hard. The heat of the flames caused burns to the same degree as Angel on his right side.

At the moment it seemed that all of the zombies that had just arrived were dead and that they once again had a moment to speak to one another. There was one thing for certain though. All of these zombies were humans and being turned by something. It wasn't the Hollow like they had thought. So what was turning them and where was it were the two questions that they had to ask one another and figure out in order to actually stop this horrific event and save as many humans as possible while they were all still strong enough to keep fighting.

[Musuhina Kesshino]

Musuhina had given the bruised young man a raised eyebrow after he had denied to have his injuries healed. Granted they were just bruises, but in situations like this you could never be too careful. Though shortly after that, Angel had started scolding him in a way that sort of made her feel sorry for him. But after the lecture Angel had given him, he reluctantly changed his mind. With her hands outstretched and with the healing aura around her hands showing, she was about to begin healing his rather minor injuries.

However things would take a massive turn for the worse in the form of the bird hollow that she and Angel had been hunting. It was covered with several humans biting away and it and consuming it's flesh. It looked like things had taken quite the role reversal as far as how things usually went with Hollows and Humans. On top of that, the debris from the falling building make quite an effective smokescreen as several tongues lashed out at them all. Thankfully Musuhina had decided to stick behind Mori after saving her and himself from the things.

Along with this, Angel had ended up charging into the smoke, taking one of the enemy's heads before Mori went in along with her. At this point Musuhina was just hanging back where it seemed safest. She trained herself solely in healing, so her combat capabilities were very lacking at this point, only being able to make up for it in more indirect ways. AND THEN to top off all of the chaos, the woman that they'd encountered earlier had decided to throw a massive amount of fire into the mix. Granted it managed to kill the Hollow along with the "Humans" that came along with it, but it ended up burning Angel and Mori badly in the process. 

At the sight of this, Musuhina's heart practically jumped out of her chest as she rushed towards them with her aura at the ready. "Guess there's no point in asking you for this one then." she said in a pretty vain attempt to lighten the load of having parts of their skin being burned as she got to work. She placed her hands on the areas of their burns, having to focus a good amount of attention as the aura around her hands softly clung to their skin. Musuhina closed her eyes as the aura let the pain ease and flow away first before it began to make the flesh grow and mend itself. From time to time she would move her hands around to different spots to make sure that the pain wasn't as intense as before.

Eventually their burns would be gone along with the pain as Musuhina stepped back a bit just to be sure. "Ugh! How could I forget?!" she said with the snap of her finger before letting the aura return to her hands. She placed them on Mori's bruises from before just to be thorough and to honor his reluctant decision from before. "There you go! Good as new." she said after the last of the bruises dissipated. "Try not to push yourselves too much next time though. I may be good at what I do, but even I can't heal a severed head." she said with smile that advertised a bit of concern.

Keira was pleasantly surprised to see the effectiveness of the kido she had just learned. The hollow, and all the zombie like humans around it burned nicely in the inferno, though it seemed that a couple of the more...gungho compatriots seemed to be caught at the edge of the blast taking a bit of burns from the attack. Well it was their own fault for just charging in like that. Keira was being as effecient as possible, wasn't like she urged them to go in like that without thinking, or being aware of what was going on around them. No matter the deed was done, and nothing could be done about it. At least of the shinigami seems to be a healer and tended to their wounds. 

"Well can't argue with results." Keira said as she moved her arms closer to her in an standby position around her. She moved closer to the group of fighters close enough to engage in conversation, but far enough that she can see them all clearly. She still didn't trust them, but if this infestation was going to be stopped, she would have to work with them, or it would take even more time from her experiments. She was having other ideas though. These zombies were clearly human, but they seemed different. Whatever was turning them was using a method far different from her own. That was a good thing. It should mean that her own method would not yield such chaotic results. 

"That being said," She continued. "We should figure out what is behind this infestation quickly. Not even I have enough strength to keep throwing those around." It was her attempt at a joke. She was not a comical person in any shape or form. She was mentally kicking herself for even trying. She closed her eyes trying to detect anything with her spiritual senses. Something had to be abnormal somewhere, well more abnormal than the usual abnormal. She would also keep an ear out for the conversation of the other three. The failure would need to start taking care of them. The healthier they were, the better meat shields they made after all.
