Discussion of Hollow eating at class one.

So as one of the few hollow rper's something came to mind the other day, what point does it serve the RPer to have their hollow eat NPC or even RPC's after they become class one? As far as I know there is no benefit given to them given we can't get class one. Hollows don't get access to class zero(Which is there for balance sake given a hollow could have 20 class zero custom techs) but from an IC point not eating once becoming a Vasto lord seems a little odd. I was thinking that maybe instead of giving CTP at class one eating could give TTP or even Ryo. (at a smaller rate than CTP given) This is only my personal thought on this matter as eating other things is a big part of what makes a hollow a hollow and at their strongest point having it no longer be something that is needed seems a bit lack luster in terms of RP. Mind you I don't know the ruling if someone as a class one hollow were to make a training thread eating NPC's and then mask break before the thread is over then claim the consumption CTP to help get class zero. I doubt it would be allowed, given the work to do so would be half if not a quarter of doing it normally, however being able to bank consumption CTP might be something worth looking into.

This also makes me ask this question on the ruling about eating NPC's above your level. While I know the rule was put into place to keep low level hollows from eating class one and two arrancar, the fact that from class seven to class three there is no benefit from eating harder opponents really makes my head tilt at this rule. Because as it stands anyone can spam eat class seven shingami's and not get a drawback. However the only time someone can eat a class two character(which is the next level of Consumption CTP gain) is at class three. From then on they only have class three and two to freely eat class two and class one characters without getting hurt by the rule. My suggestion to this is to add in another level in between the two that is class four and three, given that at this time most races awaken spiritually and get release so it would make sense that to a hollow these have more spirtual power and are worth more to them to eat.

Gaining CTP in a solo thread of consumption to get to Class 0 is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. Gaining TTP and Ryo makes a lot more sense, though I don't know what a Hollow would do with TTP except save for Arrancar which wouldn't be a huge problem, imo since TTP can't be converted back into CTP to abuse it that way.

Your suggestion about adding in another level of consumption makes a good deal of sense and I'd be up for crunching numbers to see if its workable. Other mods can feel free to agree/disagree.

I'm very good on the idea of having them earn Ryo or TTP through consumption once they hit class 1. Though admittedly I'm not sure I like that well.... this negates ANY ability to start saving up CTP for their mask break. Except for rampages... which technically I doubt they would do anymore... or taking CTP at the SP rate... If we're going to be robbing Hollows of their CTP gaining ability, Then personally I wouldlike it to be considered that in exchange, they gain CTP at a normal rate.
That way they can at least still gain some ctp at a normal rate as everyone else.

By Class One, you should be aiming for a mask break, tbh. If you insist on remaining Hollow, that's fine, but remember that most of the Vasto Lorde Hollows are pretty intelligent at that point, and you could probably argue that it's not a necessity. If it's about CTP, then you can change to Arrancar and earn normal CTP there. If it's about TTP or SP, you can do a training thread, as those aren't penalized, only CTP is. There's really no purpose to extending consumption into Class 1.

Z, the reason they're asking, mainly, about consumption into Class 1 is saving for Class 0 Arrancar immediately after Mask Break.

I'm gonna say I don't like that; we've been trying to stop fast-tracking from illogical means for a while now. Free RP being graded when characters get removed, DE threads requiring actual threat and risk of death, Lazy Genius being removed... etc. This just feels like a min/max fast track to get yourself up to appropriate CTP and then mask break for a Class 0 Arrancar instead of doing it the proper way as an Arrancar.

Normally I wouldn't be so against this, but CTP from consumption is a major fast-track at that point. Let's assume you eat nothing but Class 8 Shinigami at this point. Even if you devoted a paragraph to each one, you're getting 100 TP/paragraph, which is 10x more than an NDE PVP (10/para) 20x more than a training thread (10/two paras), four times as much as a DE PVP (25/para)... etc. Basically, you're going generally ten times faster than most leveling paths, and you're using that to fast-track to Class 0, as opposed to those who have to take the slower routes for it.

So no, I'm gonna say that at Class 1 it should either force a mask break or it should remove CTP from consumption simply because you're that powerful at that point that eating minor entities doesn't do any good. This is my personal thoughts on it, ofc, not an official ruling; I'd like to hear from the other mods.

So Z to talk about the fast track with hollow consumption, first off no one in their right mind should have a 1:1 ratio of eating a soul to paragraphs. We have already established that eating something takes a few paragraphs as effort and mods can deny consumption based on suspected abuse of it. Secondly if we are talking about the rate of growth besides in rampage threads hollows gain half ctp normally and are required to eat in order to have a stable growth. Now I don't argue that consumption as a hollow is faster than normal growth, but effort still needs to be put in. Secondly rampage threads put the hollow in danger given the randomness of the opponents and at any given time someone could invade if they're the right class. Now I'm not going to defend wanting to use consumption as a hollow for power leveling for class zero arrancar, because honestly it's a much easier path than normal class zero. I was only bringing up that given the way consumption is written and hollows being a race that needs to eat to grow stronger not having any sort of alternative to gaining ctp at class one from consumption sees a bit strange. Which is why I proposed the idea of gaining ttp in order to help mask break arrancars dealing with the sudden change in their move set given that most hollows will not and can not get techs that every arrancar should have or at least use. I'm in agreement about the no CTP from consumption at Class 1, but I also think that stocking TTP would be helpful and wouldn't break the mechanics. As long as we continue in the 4 paragraphs per meal standard that I like to unofficially use so far.

By Executive Order, unless vetoed, at Class 1 Vasto Lorde can consume souls for half the normal CTP awarded as TTP or equal CTP awarded as Ryo. They cannot get CTP from consumption at Class 1. TTP gained this way cannot be converted to CTP later just as TTP normally can't be converted to CTP.

Quincy are worth 100 TP each. Bount are worth 70 TP each. Humans are worth 60 TP each. The next tier occurs from class 2-1. Shinigami and Beast-Clan are worth 300 TP. Hollows are worth 200 TP. Arrancar are worth 500 TP. Quincy are worth 200 TP. Bount are worth 150 TP. Humans are worth 100 TP. These are the amounts for NPC's. RPC's are worth double!

I'm loving this ruling as it gives a much needed help to hollows before they mask break with the TTP deficit that they face. I just want to know for the ryo is it say eating a class one human gives you 100 ryo? or is it an amount equal to converting 100 ctp to ryo?

As far as the numbers go,everything seems to be good, arrancars might be a bit high but that's the case for arranars at each level. Also I know most hell races are off limits as well as failures are in terms of consumption, however I was wondering about Nakkabaki are they still worthless to eat for hollows?

100 Ryo. And Nakkabaki would be based off of the other parent in my mind. Mod Souls also would be equal to a Bount.

Personally I think just the TTP. Gaining...money... For eating seems kinda weird, unless hollows can poop diamonds. But thats really my only reservation with whats being proposed

Ryo is a mostly OOC currency. It’s not tangible, which is why you can gain Ryo for just training with an Npc and such. That's why I've decided that consumption CTP can be converted to TTP or Ryo at class 1
