The Failures: Raceless beings whose spiritual might was so vast as to overwhelm their souls and their bodies. Abandoned by the world, they have only the glowing light of their own bodies to illuminate the path before them. Though they have been scorned, their destiny could not be more clear; they live to be the greatest creatures ever to exist, the true apex predator. These beings have no origin point, but the first recorded sighting was 19,000 years ago in what today is Russia. They lived far from humanity, existing only in the blistering storms of snow which no other creature could survive. Now, scattered about the great blue earth, they number in the hundreds.
It may be tempting to assume that they are of little value because their bodies so easily explode. Assumptions are misleading, my friends. Behold the great Blue Stone of Legend. Among many such items of value, you would find the Soul Cross, the Blades of Abhorrence, and the Sokkyokku. It is merely the size of an apple, yet it is a gem with great power. Satsujun created it for the purpose of focus and control of reiatsu which would have been unprecedented, yet it was lost when he was originally defeated. All these centuries later, it has been found in old Egyptian ruins by a Failure who is now referred to as the Lord of Light, and it has had a peculiar effect on his composition. By imbuing the stone into his chest, he has achieved stability. He is now the ultimate Failure. His body does not merely explode. He can now contain and control his power.
It is only natural now that other Failures have come to follow him. While they serve him, he can share the stone's power and give them stability, too. They have begun to form their own city in an abandoned desert in Africa, and though Failures alone may inhabit this city, it is open for visitation to any and all. We will explore this wonderful new development in history as it unfolds. The stone was made for more than one purpose, and it still possesses secrets to yield to mother earth, as well as the greatest form of the Failure and the ultimate destiny of all spiritual races under this changed dynamic of strength.
The first ever thread series led by professional Russian and six year forum member Royce the Russian. A beautifully acclaimed, miraculously crafted story worked on by ten people. Any who wish to participate in the series of five adventures which will ensue now need only post their entries in this thread. This thread series promises very detailed and in-depth personal plot advancement, aided by me, Royce, who will read your characters through and through personally.
