B:OW Needs You For MoTM/CoTM Nominations!

You all know how Member of the Month and Character of the Month works; the staff recognizes your achievements, either IC or OOC, and posts a message along the sideboard for everyone to know that we think you're awesome. And you are. But this time, we're going to try something a little different: we're going to bring the power of decision to everyone! Instead of debating it among whatever staff we can dredge up at the time, we're going to have the community participate in telling us who you think has been awesome in this last month.

So, here's how this is going to work: First, to get a player/character up to CoTM or MoTM, they require a nomination. Each person (not account, PERSON) may either nominate one person for each category, or back a current nomination. Or a mix of one of each if they desire, of course. Please explain why as well, because we'd like to know what the community recognizes them for! Naturally, one cannot nominate themselves or their own characters, only others. To be moved to the voting stage, a character or member must receive both a nomination and a backing. Once they have, at the end of the nomination period, then they will be included in the vote. At the voting stage, you can vote for anyone once per person (again, not per account, I will be watching you!), including yourself if you make it to the polls.

So yeah, with that, we're going open nominations and backings now! These will go until Saturday, so please, feel free to drop a line for those people you'd like to see recognized for their hard work!

Apologies if this is a duplicate of past months. Haven't been here long enough to see this stuff often.

CoTM: I dunno

MoTM: Amagai Kuchiki. (I think he's called Rudy?) I feel like he grades a ton of stuff, as I see him in most grading things. Super fast replies when he was grading all my stuff, which is hugely appreciated when your ability to RP at all hangs in the balance. Also is both friendly and fair in the gradings while being open to counter-arguments if you disagree. 10/10 experience being graded by him.

[Ōkami Shihoin]

COTM: Zeich, hands down. This character has shown immense growth since Z created him about 3 or 4 years ago. Not sure which one since time has really flown by on this forum. Not only is Zeich the second Vizard to successfully pass the first part of his Vizard path, he is also an exceptionally powerful character who is able to take on even class 0 characters. This is shown in his battle with a Class 0 character, Anarchy, and even in his battle with Kazura Uzaki. Though Anarchy was prevented from using his most powerful techniques to avoid revealing his true identity as the Bount Leader, Zeich was still able to contend and even force Anarchy to use Kalte Feuer Hitze to defend himself. Zeich was still able to keep pressuring Anarchy despite his use of Kalte Feuer Hitze.

Aside from that, Zeich has also developed as a character. His will to protect the Soul Society is strong and keeps him going despite his being deemed an enemy by the place he calls home. He is one of the most well fleshed out characters here besides Sozen, Kuroi, Adalo, Kyomei, Asmoskon, and Jin among other characters that I've seen on this forum throughout my time here, which is a loooong time. For those that don't know, I was one of the first 5 or 6 members of this forum when it started almost 6 years ago. Overall, Zeich is one of my all-time favorite characters on this forum after Hiro Kaname.

MOTM: I back Remielle's vote. Rudy was busy for some time a few months back, and in coming back he got right to work grading and things like that. He's been an exceptional mod when it comes to grading and getting back to people quickly. Outside of Kento, Z, and Kyomei, Rudy's another great mod to go to for advice on a power or even about a ruling. "He puts in work, ask Ludwig." (Childish Gambino reference)

[Shizuka Sanamizu ✮]

CoTM: I wanna nominate Hebika! I feel like that's super obvious but I have to give TV a lot of credit. Hebika is incredibly strong and a very unique character. She's developed into a great member of Xcution and I really like her powers. She's still relatively new compared to a lot of other characters here, but the effort and thought put in to her is admirable.

MoTM: Kyo! I want it to be Kyo! Kyo got married and has a life and is busy all the time but he still makes time for us and never backs down. He's incredibly valuable to us here and irreplaceable, so I'm really glad that he decided to join!

[Kazura Uzaki]

I second Zeich for Character of the month. I feel that he's stayed true to his character, even after being forced out of the Soul Society and being roped into working for a Fullbringer. He's one of the most powerful characters on site, almost the first to complete the journey from Class 8 to Class 0, and definitely leaves an impact everywhere he goes. That's why I think he should be CotM

I throw my vote toward Zeich for CotM and Rudy for MotM. I feel like people already covered most of the reasons why these two candidates are deserving of the recognition.

I haven't been here very long, but one of the characters I've seen that really sticks out to me for deserving a little recognition is Noriko, The twins, Shiryuo & Iraishin, whatever it is that she's called now. The point is, she's a very interesting character concept that the writer handles well, and in the weeks I've been here, I've seen some major character development come from her. She's even had a major CIU and is getting ready to move on to a whole new phase of existence! Noriko is getting my vote.

Now, for CoTM I'd like to second Kyomei. He's calm, he's fair, and I see him on a lot. I'd add more, but Shizuka seemed to cover it pretty well, so I'll leave it at that.

I'm just gonna throw my vote in for Noriko as well. Same reasons as Gracie, really, and it's just been a blast threading with her.

MoTM means MEMBER of the Month, not the Mod of the Month. So therefore I am nominating IcyQueen
