Tower of Terror (First DM Adventure)

[Zahra]

Zahra kept her distance, reading the cat man's body language. She does try to keep that in mind when she meets more of her kind. She has been learning much from where she lives in the district, but she was still an animal. The animal side of her would never go away. It would just merge with what she knew of body language and then she would use both when talking with the souls. But, with her own kind, she was more prone to use only body language.

She kept her distance, trying to look as non threatening as possible. She had no idea how dominant this cat was or what he would actually do in the presence of another female. She was looking over his body language and it seemed like he was ready to just either run away or fight her, but a little more relaxed since she walked up to him. She was sniffing and sampling the air as she knew he was. Her ears flicked and tail twitched as she did so.

He said one word. It seemed that he didn't really get what she meant. She figured that saying he was a cat was better than whatever else she could've come up with. It was the first thing that came to her mind and honestly, she didn't know what else to say besides barking and yipping at him. If she did that, he could've taken it the wrong way and she wanted to start off on good terms with another of her kind. She waited for him to answer, relaxing more while he was relaxing.

He then acknowledged her, saying where her mate or cub was and that he could smell them on her. Well, it made sense since they lived together. While she sampled the air, she smelled his scent and but noticed that his scent had no others with his like she did. Well, to each their own. Obviously the cat hadn't found the perfect one or wasn't interested. It wasn't really her business. But, she at least knew his name was now Caedir. She cocked her head to the side, remembering her name.

"Zahra mate coming. He Qaletaqa." She pointed behind her as she could smell him coming behind her. She was glad that he came behind her, hoping he would do that. She looked between the two, curious as to what was actually going to happen. She put a hand on Qaletaqa's arm, reminding him this was not the time or place for stupid things, like dominance displays which is the only thing she could think of that would happen. She hoped that she would be able to quell anything that might happen between them.

While she was looking between them, she felt something coming and looked over and saw one of the people in black. She walked closer to Qaletaqa, squeezing his arm. She knew how he felt about them and she wanted to keep him grounded to the here and now. Now was not the time for petty squabbling. The shinigami talked to them and she honestly had no idea what in the hell this man was talking about. She cocked her head to the right, with a puzzled look on her face. She really wanted to know what he was talking about.

It was then that some weird thing started to run towards the person in black. It had some kind of white thing on its face, so she had no idea what in the hell it was. She took a breath to catch its scent and the scent confused her. But, she didn't really want to think on that too much longer. She was really curious as to what was going on in the tower and why all of them where here in the first place. But before she could do anything, Caedir said something.

He was taking control of the situation saying that her and her mate should follow him while the man in black was to fight the mask thing. He then mentioned a name but no idea what he was talking about. She looked towards her mate and moved her head towards the door, knowing that they should go. She started to run after Caedir, hoping that her mate wasn't that far behind. She then had to ask. "Caedir, what Okami?"

Qaletaqa had been looking over the area while Zahra had immediately just walked over to the other beast without thinking. While she was his mate the girl was far younger then him and didn't have the experience of life that he did even if she was possibly more powerful then him he knew enough to look around. Nothing really seemed to be around them though besides the giant tower so he had made his way other towards the two of the beasts. It was simple to see the wordless clash between him and this other male.

It seemed that this male was immediately thinking about who was the alpha in a situation like this. Qaletaqa although he would prefer to lead due to Zahra being involved knew that he had as little chance of successfully getting them out of where they were as this other beast. Zahra was asking the normal questions that she did to anyone and because of that Qaletaqa learned the other males name. Zahra had already given out her name along with his own so it only seemed fitting they knew this other beasts as well.

Qaletaqa though wasn't paying much attention to the other male now he was sniffing the air again something was different something familiar was near them. It was then that the large otter began to growl and turned his head towards the Shinigami that walked towards the three beasts. Qaletaqa could smell the scent of that race and immediately his fangs were showing and his eyes were focused on the man.

Qaletaqa felt Zahra grab ahold of his arm and knew that she didn't wish for him to start something against this Shinigami at last not right now. As much as the otter beast wanted to slash the throat of the Shinigami he knew that right now it wouldn't do any good especially considering they were somewhere they had no clue about. It was then that two different scents rushed into the nose of the tall beast.

The Shinigami was yelling and Qaletaqa was growing tired of the words that he didn't understand yet knew weren't good towards him or Zahra. The new scents were right here now and Qaletaqa knew that the very strange one was from the white masked beast. Qaletaqa had fought some of them in the wilderness before, but it had been a long time sense seeing one. The other was what looked like another Shinigami yet he didn't wear the black robes.

After a few more moments the feline beast known as Caedir took action and seemed to appoint himself the leader of the three. Qaletaqa honestly didn't have a problem right now due to the Shinigami and white masked beast as long as he could keep Zahra safe from them and himself. Qaletaqa was surprised that he hadn't blanked out already from the large amount of others near him. Now though it seemed like the feline wanted them to rush into the tower.

Qaletaqa was against such an action yet before he could grab ahold of Zahra and make way for something different possibly a way back to the wilderness his mate rushed forwards eager to see what was inside the tower. Qaletaqa was left with no other choice then to rush forwards after Zahra making sure that she was alright. He really didn't like the idea of going into one of the big round things that the Shinigami had a the center of their stolen land.

As he stepped forward though the mind of the beast was claimed by the curse that resided within his soul. His eyes shifted into nothing, but feral signs of hunger and rage. Suddenly he just roared as if he was a massive lion and instantly began to rush towards Zahra. Qaletaqa he found out a few days ago that for some reason when he blanked out he had started to focus on Zahra first if not only her. He didn't like it, but right now the only thoughts were feral and he wanted his mate.

Once trio of beast men entered the tower, the door will close behind them. The door would be sealed so that the shinigami and the hollow could enter when they were done with their fight, but the ones already inside the tower would not be able to exit. Whatever the original layout of the tower would be, would be replaced with one large open room with a spiraling stair case on the far side of the room. The room was barren. There were no furniture or windows of any kind. The only light were from a few lights on the ceiling giving the whole room a dim glow. 

In front of the base of the stair case was the figure that meet the group outside. He smiled widely holding his staff behind his neck. Once he caught sight of the three beast men he jumped up to his feet and opened his arms out wide holding the staff in his left hand. "Welcome my friends. It appears that we are a couple participants short oh well." He chuckled to himself as he inspected the three before him. They seemed competent enough for the challenge. "I am glad that you decided to join us. Now let us begin. If you can defeat this wave of enemies, then you can proceed up the tower."

He waited only a brief time before snapping his fingers and several beings appeared in the room with a flash of light. There was a Shinigami, a Quincy, and a Bount. They didn't seem to question how or why they had suddenly appeared in the strange room. They only looked ready for battle. Each of the beings drew their weapons ready for combat. The Quincy his bow, the Shinigami's Zanpakuto, and the bount's doll all brought to bear on the three beast clansman.

The shinigami darted at the female beat being. Her blade swung high aiming to slice at the jackals throat. She would then bring her sword back in a diagonal slash from the jackal's left shoulder to her right hip. The Quincy drew his bow firing two arrows at the cheetah beast man. The first arrow was aimed at his leg a sort of test shot to see where he would go. The second one would be fired as the beast dodged aiming for his chest. The bount focused on the last one. 

"Zeige Dich, Kanone." The doll was simply a sphere on three cylinders on the floor. The Biunt man kept himself on the opposite end of the sphere an opening opened up on the sphere pointing to the only beastkin not currently in combat, or rather it seemed to be targeting the Jackal. The bout focus on the beastkin and commanded his doll to attack firing a beam of Reitsu energy at the beastkin's chest.

[Caedir din Sahra]

((OOC: Pardon the delay, wasn't sure how we were moving this along. Assuming we're going to keep the BCs going for now, since it's been a bit since the others have posted.))

As the three Beast-Clansmen started to run, with Caedir leading and his new companions following, the cheetah quickly answered questions as he could. Running at only half of his normal speed so that the others could keep up, he wasn't feeling the least bit winded, and could easily talk as they made their way into the tower, towards the thing that Caedir felt somewhere deep within the structure. “I Caedir, you Zahra, you Qaletaqa.” The last one required a few tries due to the length of the name, but he quickly got the hang of it. Soon Caedir had the two sorted out; they were mates, an unusual pair but one nonetheless; their scents mingled together, giving him a very clear indication of their close relationship.

And then there was the question, the one asked by Zahra; what was Okami? “Okami is black-robe human, very strong like animal. Sly like fox, fast like Caedir.” The last was said with a statement of pride; Caedir was a very quick individual, and to have someone able to keep up with him at all was impressive. “Okami Caedir friend. He nice.” Indeed, Okami was one of the few black-robed humans that Caedir trusted without pause; the man had been polite to him, and even curious about what he was, and the two had gotten along quite well. They had even hunted a mask-creature together. It said a lot about the man if Caedir praised him.

The three of them were just about at the tower entrance, with Qaletaqa only just starting to catch up, when something happened. Caedir's ears perked up at the sound of the enormous roar that the other male let out, pausing and turning to see what was going on. There was little time to react, so the cheetah went with instinct; he grabbed Zahra by the arm and pulled her forward, his strength nearly double hers and letting Caedir pull the otter-woman behind him. The feline Beast-Clansman didn't know why their companion was losing his head, but with the way that Qaletaqa started to charge at them, Caedir didn't have time to think. He ran, pulling Zahra behind him as quickly as she could hurry along.

“What wrong?” He asked between breaths as they charged into the tower, running towards the staircase that he saw spiraling up the center. Caedir didn't understand why Qaletaqa was suddenly aggressive, when he had simply seemed nervous or uncomfortable before. “No like Caedir? Why attack mate?” The questions were piling up; it was hard to understand the situation when it just happened.

However, they could not progress, as their path was suddenly blocked; Caedir saw the strange man from before standing before them, and he halted, glaring at the man. He spoke quickly, and mentioned something about enemies. Frankly, Caedir didn't understand what the human wanted, but if he was going to start a fight, then the cheetah was going to end it. For a moment he released Zahra; hopefully she could deal with her mate, now that they had some time to prepare for it. Caedir prepared himself to attack the human, thinking that he had declared himself the enemy.

But it would not remain so; three humans took the first's place, and they all wielded different weapons. A black-robed human like the ones back home was accompanied by one wielding a bow, and another who didn't immediately seem to possess a weapon. An arrow was fired at Caedir, but the cheetah didn't even bother to dodge; with enormous speed his foot snapped up, knocking the arrow upwards before a second kick had the same projectile flying back at the human, who had just released another arrow. The two collided in mid-air, canceling each other out, but before the Quincy could react, Caedir was moving again. His speed was no joke as he closed the gap suddenly, his foot lashing out in a sudden blow that would catch the Quincy in the stomach. The man would have no chance at keeping up with the feline Beast-Clansman, and with Caedir's full strength behind the kick, he would find himself in severe pain at the direct blow to his abdomen; it would be a wonder if any of his internal organs were intact afterward. Caedir wasn't holding back.

“You weak.”

[Zahra]

Zahra was running behind the cat, Caedir. She got a better look at him and thought that she had seen a picture of this kind of cat before. But, being the way she was, she didn't remember it. She only remembered that he was definitely a cat. If she remembered, she would definitely have to look it up. She was very curious about it now. She scented the air and knew her mate was still close by, which made her feel infinitely better. She just hoped that he wouldn't go crazy anytime soon.

She heard the cat speak all of their names and she nodded her head in agreement. Then, he started to describe the man he called Okami. Caedir described him as a black robed human, which she knew immediately. It was the humans that they shared the area with. She had never run into one, but it seems like all of them aren't as bad as she thought. He is strong like an animal, sly like a fox and fast like him. She could tell he took great pride in his speed, so it must be high praise for him to say such a thing about this Okami person. They were friends too. She now wanted to meet this Okami.

When Zahra heard the roar, she knew what had happened. "Oh no. Mate now crazy." She was sure that Caedir wouldn't understand, but she pulled out two knives to get ready for the charge. Thankfully, for her mate, he had a few telltale signs after he would go crazy. He roared out loud and would honestly head after her. She never knew why he would head after her first. She always thought that because she was his mate, his instincts told him to go to her, to try and protect her but it ended up him just attacking her.

So while she pulled out her knives, keeping up with Caedir, she felt something on her arm. She looked and saw that Caedir had grabbed her by the arm and was pulling her behind him. He had to act on pure instinct, since her mate was coming at them pretty quick. She ran as fast as she could, trying her best to keep up with Caedir. She appreciated the fact that he was making sure that she was staying out of harm's way. Next, Caedir asked appropriate questions in a situation like this and she would answer to the best of her ability.

"Mate goes crazy random. Not because he not like, just does. He always come at me." She hoped that that would answer his questions good enough. She suddenly stopped behind Caedir. She looked at it seemed like three people were impeding their progress further into the tower. She watched the cat ready himself to do something against these people. He released her while he shot an arrow back at the archer and ran up at the human to hit him. It was an impressive feat of speed and strength.

She had stopped and looked at the black robed man. She knew that she would definitely need to head after him. It would be the easiest way to get her mate to defeat an enemy, since he was only concerned with her at the moment. So, she started to run at the shinigami. He drew his blade, but she was quicker than him. She quickly ran at him and at the last second, she sidestepped, dropped to the ground quickly and attacked the black-robed man's knees, so he couldn't run away. She hoped that her mate would finish the job.

[Qaletaqa]

Qaletaqa was rushing blindly ahead right towards Zahra. The fact that the evil white faced creature and the black robed Shinigami were no longer even aspects of thought now that the beast was literally just that. If he had his consciousness to begin with he wouldn’t have cared about stopping those two from fighting one another in his logical side they would both die in time from the justice of nature for the hardships that they have put others through.

The scent of his mate was one that for some reason just seemed to drive his mind to nothing, but even more hunger. Whenever he lost consciousness and his body was under the influence of his curse he would always attack his mate first. Qaletaqa knew this after a few times and feared that in time Zahra wouldn’t be able to stop him. For some reason he was taking longer and longer to regain control of his body and he felt that it might one day cost Zahra or himself the happiness they shared together.

Now though he was rushing after his mate and the yellow furred feline. The scent of another male though was one that played a rather horrible influence over the mind of a true beast especially when his own scent was painfully over Zahra. In the eyes of a monster it was as if this feline was stealing something of his even if he was going right after his possession it was his to do with what he wanted. This feline would die no matter what it took just for placing his scents influence on the female. Qaletaqa had a slight difficulty keeping up with the both of them in the first few moments then though he began to catch up on them due to Zahra slowing the both of them down.

Once the three of them entered into the tower the feline led Zahra to the staircase only to stop. The mind of a beast wasn’t one to really take caution or gather the surroundings at least the mind of a lost beast wasn’t especially Qaletaqa at the moment. However, the sound of the door to the tower closing was enough to gather Qaletaqa’s attention and stop his charge. He looked back at the entrance and when he saw that it was closed he let out another immense roar of rage as the wild eyes of furious nature turned towards the three entities at the staircase.

It was then that the three others seemed to just appear out of nowhere and Qaletaqa let out another roar asserting his dominance over everyone else in this tower. It was then that everything went into action and the small thing appeared that all of a sudden fired off a bright beam at Qaletaqa. The beast reacting on instant not understanding swiftly maneuvered to the right slightly and charged forwards. The beam moved right at him and would make contact with the side of his left arm as he rushed on all four paws.

The beast was actually blurring from moving at full speed and in little more than two full seconds he was right at the object that fired of the beam of reiatsu. However, instant of attacking some strange object that Qaletaqa could tell even in this beastly state was capable of inflicting harm he pounced over it right at the man standing behind. The large black furred beast would land atop of the Bount his paws all pressing down on the limbs of the Bount making it impossible for him to actually get back up. In the next moment Qaletaqa’s face moved down and bite through the flesh of the Bount’s throat killing it and beginning the savage cycle of death that he so frequently traveled.

[Jak Halcom]

The man watched the fight from a high piller that seemed to have just spontaneously appeared near the warded off stair case. He was defiantly seeing a sort of pattern with the beast creatures having incredible speed and strength. He would need to make more appropriate challanges for their abilities. He noted watchin the cheetah man kick the Quincy after kicking one arrow into another. It was amazing and the figure clapped enjoying the show. The Quincy went down like a sack of potatoes moaning in pain as his ribs shattered and organs collapsed from the impact. He would seem to vanish in a bright flash of light stinging the eyes of those with high sense of sight.

The Shinigami was holding on better than the Quincy did. Jackal girl seemed to have busted his knee limiting his mobility to move around. Xellos shook his head in disappointment. He wanted this round to be easy, but he didn't think it would be this easy for the trio. He put his head in his hand thinking that it was no fun underestimating his opponents. They had several levels to go, and each one would be more difficult than the next, so he would see where they go from here. There was one though that caught and held his attention more than the others.

The third one, he did even try to identify that one, seemed to be running feral now. That was a quick change from the few moments that he had saw him outside of the tower. Xellos shrugged wondering how long this new mind set for the beast would last. He watched as he leaped over the bount's doll and pinned the bount to the floor. The man was too scared to give his doll any orders before the fangs of the beast found his throat. The bount would dissapear in a similar flash of light to the Quincy. No doubt that would disorientate the poor beat.

The Shinigami was the only one left now, and he was barley able to move now, let alone keep up with the beastmen. He watched the black one pounce and tear into his bount companion. He lifted his hand pointing it at the feral beast quickly saying a chant through gritted teeth. "Arise god of thunder! Awake mother of storms! Unleash the lighting on the sinners! Hado #4: Byakurai!" He shouted as lighting fired from his fingertips. They arced right for the black furred beast with a strength of 33.

[Caedir din Sahra]

Caedir's attack was exceptionally successful, and the bow-wielding human was down as quickly as he appeared, vanishing in another burst of light. The cheetah hardly noticed it; once the man was down, there was no further thinking required. Instead, the Beast-Clansman turned to view the other combatants, to see how the various battles were wrapping up. Qaletaqa had resorted to feral tactics, he noted without disdain or judgment, and had torn out the other human's neck with his teeth to leave the man with a ruined throat that would lead to death in a very short amount of time. The man vanished in a flash of light, much like Caedir's own victim, leaving just the black-robed human that Zahra hadn't yet killed.

That same man had raised a hand, pointing it towards the jackal woman as he began to speak. Caedir had seen black-robed human s make similar motions to use their magic, often unleashing destructive effects with a few words. Rather than wait to see what happened, the cheetah surged forward at full speed, grabbing Zahra around the waist in mid-step before continuing in the direction he was running, dragging the jackal out of the line of fire. Lightning exploded behind them as the Shinigami's spell went off, but the effects were minute, striking a wall rather than the quick-moving cheetah. And of course, Caedir wasn't going to sit still, once the initial danger was past; the source was still there, and had to be dealt with. Zahra was put down, any protests ignored, and the feline Beast-Clansman darted towards the black-robed man.

Caedir's right foot shot up at maximum speed again, snapping the Shinigami's neck back if he didn't avoid in time. With only average reaction speed, it was unlikely that the man would be able to avoid the attack, which would bode poorly for his survival. Immediately after his neck snapped backwards, his face towards the ceiling, the cheetah would spin, letting his right foot land and bringing his second leg above his head in a split. The limb would come down in a powerful axe kick, one that slammed into the now-exposed throat. The man's windpipe would be crushed if the hit connected, and his neck and skull wouldn't be in much better condition as the Shinigami would be slammed into the ground with an impressive amount of force.

Caedir placed a foot on the man's chest to hold him in place, if he was still alive, and he tilted his head towards Zahra briefly. “Zahra hurt? No?” The question asked, he nodded his head towards Qaletaqa, who still seemed caught up in his feral rage. “Fight mate, yield? No kill, hurt little. He hurt if not stop.” Simply put: Caedir was asking permission to fight Qaletaqa and restrain him until he calmed down, though he would try not to hurt the male too much if possible. Permission or not, though, if Qaletaqa attacked, Caedir planned to defend himself.

[Zahra]

Zahra was successful in striking at the knees of the black robed man as she intended. But, her mate didn't do what she had thought he would. Since he was in his feral state, she had assumed that he would just come after her immediately, like he had always done. Well, either that or go after Caedir, since he pulled her away from him. Nope, she was wrong on both counts. Though, she still wasn't really up to par with trying to think those kinds of things through all the way anyway.

It seemed that her mate went after the other man and pretty much destroyed his throat. She was proud to know that he went after the weak spot like a good animal, but it wouldn't be good for them if he would lose too much interest in the man and then would head towards them again. She had held off her mate before, she just hated doing it. While she looked away, she turned when her ears flicked in the black robed man's direction. He was starting to say something. She had no idea what, but he was pointing towards her.

She figured that it wouldn't be a good if he continued whatever he was doing, but it seemed that Caedir was one step ahead of her. He ran towards her, almost faster than she could see. It looked, to her, like a yellow and black blur running towards her. He only slowed down enough to grab her by the waist mid step before he continued. He put her down and then ran at the man. She watched as he easily took down the black robed man and she just stood there, motionless.

She was impressed with his strength and wondered how he got so strong. She wanted to get that strong someday. She then nodded to herself and would ask him, if she remembered the correct words. Caedir put his foot on his chest and he looked towards Zahra, asking some questions, like if she was hurt and if he could fight her mate. It wasn't to kill him, just hurt him enough that he wouldn't hurt them. "Zahra fine, Caedir. Zahra help fight mate. Zahra do before, can help. Caedir, how you strong? Zahra love be strong like Caedir." Zahra is pretty much saying that she is fine and Caedir can restrain her mate, offering her help if he needed it. She also wants to know how he got that strong so she can be that strong.

[Qaletaqa]

Qaletaqa it seemed had been completely successful in leaping over the strange looking structure that had been firing off some type of laser at him. The beast's mind still was completely feral and the fact that the taste of blood had seeped into his mouth which brought hunger to the surface of his animal mind only for the body of the Bount to vanish. This caused Qaletaqa to pull his head back for a moment his eyes shut as they needed to readjust from the sudden brightness that had been right in front of his face. As he opened his eyes he began to growl loudly at the fact that the Bount was nowhere to be seen.

As he turned around he saw the yellow furred feline holding his mate who in his mind right now was simply his property. She wasn't another creature she was his property and his alone. His scent was on her as a warning to all other creatures and this feline had the arrogance to touch her. As he rushed over towards the shinigami and finished him off Qaletaqa reared onto his back legs his arms outstretched to the sides as he roared once again this time a much more high pitched sound was inside of the roar. He kept going for a few moments and then stopped when he starred out at the yellow furred feline. His fangs were being displayed as his lips quivered in rage and hunger.

{OOC: Sorry for the long wait I forgot it was my turn awhile ago. Also apologies on the short reply I'm unsure if a pvp happening at the beginning of this adventure is what the DM wants, but if it comes to that then fine.}

A beam of light green light appeared coming quickly at the feral Beastman. As much as Xellos would like to watch the two fight each other, that just simply wouldn't be fair to them when it came to the later levels in the tower. They would need all the strength that they could get just to survive them. The beam of light would form a sort of cage around the beastman leaving him unable to escape to harm any of the other two. What they did during the battle on the next floor was up to them, but for now, no further violence would be permitted.

"I think that would be quite enough for now." He said in a slightly more serious tone than his usual upbeat tone. He still smiled as he looked to the others. "I congratulate you two on a job well done, but this is only the beginning. The fights will be much more challenging from here on out. I hope you are ready." He glanced at the caged creature no doubt struggling to get free. "And don't worry, this is only to keep the violence for the battles. Now lets go." With a snap of his fingers, the barrier at the base of the spiral stair case dissipated. Xellos made his way up them with the cage hovering slightly above and behind him. He was far enough away from the cage so that the beastman couldn't reach him. He was not that careless. 

When the other two beastmen arrived on the second floor, they entered a room similar to the room that they had just been in. It was formatted the same with a spire stair case on the opposite side to another floor.  The only pain difference were two concealed pits. He couldn't let the strength of the enemies be the only changing factor. What would be the fun in that? Once Xellos reached a pillar identical to the one he was on in the last room, he released the imprisoned beastman. He jumped up onto the pillar and looked down at the three. "So who's ready for more round two?"

[Zahra]

Zahra was preparing herself for the task at hand, helping Caedir fend off her mate. But, before they could even do anything or get ready, she watched a cage appear around her mate. She looked around to see where the cage came from, but she didn't immediately see where the cage came from. Zahra was worried for her mate. She wouldn't normally, but he was feral now. He didn't have any of the intelligence he would normally have, putting him more at risk of injury than normal. She was starting to go over to him when she heard the man's voice.

It seemed that he was the one that caged her mate. She growled at the man, not liking the fact that her mate was now imprisoned. He told them not to worry, that it was to keep the violence for battles, but that wouldn't effect how Zahra felt. Her mate was now in a cage and was hovering beside the man. She was angry now. She barked loudly at the man while he took her mate away. It was nice that they didn't have to worry about her crazy mate right now, but still, she wanted to be near him in this weird, new place.

She glared at the man while she quickly ran up the stairs, flicking her ears around to make sure that she wouldn't miss anything. She arrived at the next floor with Caedir on her heels. She still had the angry grimace on her face, growling low in her throat at the man in front of her. She was about ready to bark at him to release her mate when he did so on his own. She was thankful for that and that it looked like he wasn't harmed at all. But, there was still this man to worry about. When he asked about a two that was round, Zahra didn't understand. She cocked her head to the right, trying to. "There more? Hurry! Zahra want to leave with mate!"
