Character Name: [Wycliff Mason]
New Powers:
Overall Ability: [
Chūdoku's power is very simple, yet it could be considered one of the most dangerous in the gotei. Chūdoku takes Wycliff's reiatsu and changes it into cocaine that will ooze out from the form Chūdoku has taken at the moment. The cocaine slowly drips off of Chūdoku as a liquid however once it is no longer in contact with Chūdoku it turns into a powder that flies off in the direction Chūdoku was waved in. Wycliff can control the cocaine to some extent, he isn't able to make complex forms with the cocaine, however he is able to freely control how the ccocaine moves and where it lands. Each time he swings his blade the cocaine does fly off in a wave. Note that the wave of cocaine will start to expand and thin out the further it goes after thirty feet the wave can no longer be seen and the particles are too thinned out to really affect someone. The closer someone is to the wave when it first comes out however the more likely they are to be hit with a massive blast of cocaine. In some rare cases he can spin his blade to have the cocaine spin off of his blade like a small twister that surrounds him. As far as the speed of the cocaine goes, Wycliff is able to move it at speeds equal to 600.
This wouldn't be so bad if the cocaine was just like the human world counterpart, however sadly that isn't the case. The cocaine produced by Chūdoku is much stronger and toxic than it's human world counterpart. So how exactly is it stronger? To start off it is extremely addicting, in most cases all a person needs is just a small bit to become permanently addicted to it. After a first exposure they will instantly start to crave it. This can be dangerous as it can easily make someone forget about the danger that they're in just so they can get more of the drug into their body. Now why is this? The cocaine along side blocking the normal dopamine recycling process the cocaine actually creates more dopamine inside the users body causing an elevated state of euphoria. However before the cocaine leaves the body it absorbs back the dopamine it created along side naturally forming dopamine to cause a huge mood swing leaving a person feeling depressed. The euphoric state that it causes only lasts for a few moments before it vanishes. The “down” they feel afterwords is the worst part of his power, the down plunges people into a temporary state of depression and anxiety which can last for hours after being exposed, those with weak mental strength will feel as if life isn't worth living.
Now the body body will start to crave the drug to try to rebalanced it's levels of dopamine so that they're in a stable state. When that happens those addicted will start to actively seek out more of the drug and try to get it into their system. The easiest way is to actually continue to fight Wycliff and take hits from Chūdoku which would result in them getting the drug into them, however it could come at the cost of getting killed from his attacks. This isn't the only way to get the drug, however it is the simplest and most effective, ultimately the choice as to how they get more of the drug is up to them, however it's hard to ignore the large free source in front of them. One thing to note is that each time someone is exposed to the drug their addiction becomes worse and worse. This addiction doesn't go away either it stays with them for life.(If the thread is DE or DP they are addicted(if the player chooses to accept it past the thread), if it is NDE they can choose to have it in as flavor to their character or ignore it. )
Now being exposed to the drug once doesn't mean that someone is instantly doomed to being addicted to it forever. There are ways to resist the drug. Someone who has points in strength of will(or any equivalent to it, as long as it makes sense that it would help with countering an addictive substance. EX Calm mind would work, but not pain tolerance) or even poison resist can resist the addiction right away, however that doesn't mean that they will be able to withstand continuous doses from it though. Also someone with Healing expertise over 800 will be immune to the drugs addictive properties. Now how does this translate to becoming addicted? If anyone has at least a one in either strength of will(or it's equivalent) poison resist or 799-200 HE, they will not become addicted after becoming exposed to the drug. However that is only for the first exposure as the cocaine starts to slowly break down peoples resistance to it. Note that if someone doesn't have one of the following that they will become addicted after being hit once.
Each time someone is hit by the drug it breaks down their resistance to the drug. The amount of resistance they lose is fixed. In the case of strength of will or poison resist the drug would treat it as if it was one class lower than what it was the last time someone was exposed to the drug. Meaning if someone has a point in strength of will and is exposed to the drug twice the cocaine would act as if they had no points in strength of will. This only works for the addictive property of the drug and nothing else. However each rank in the skill's resistance to the addictive properties of the drug makes the exposures needed to get them addicted much higher. At a two in strength of will they need two exposures to get the strength of will down to one and at three in strength of will it takes three exposures to treat it as if they had two and so on. If someone has two or more skills to resist the addictive properties of the drug one is lowered at a time at each exposure following the same rules depending on how high the skills are. Against 799-200 HE the cocaine slowly drains it by 50 for each exposure, however only towards the addictive property. If someone gets to 200 HE when they had under 800 HE they can no longer resist the addictive property of the drug anymore and will start to become addictive. One thing to note again the cocaine doesn't actually lower strength of will, poison resist or HE, it just lowers it's effects against countering the addictive property of the cocaine. For everything else those skills and stats would still work exactly as if they were untouched. One last side note in Shikai if someone has 3 in two skills that work to resist the addictive properties they are immune to it's effects, in bankai if someone has 3 in two skills it only offers a greater resistance.
Now how does the addiction progress if someone has no resistance to the cocaine? The first time they come in contact with the drug they will feel as if they want more, but they can push themselves to stay away from it if they are mentally strong enough. The second time they are exposed to the drug the want turns into a need, they feel as if they need to have the drug in them. At this state the person is still thinking somewhat clearly, however they are starting to be overcome with a need to have the drug inside of them, subconsciously they will start to be drawn towards the drug and could very possibly not avoid an attack with the drug in it just so they can get it in them. Now after three exposures to the drug a person craves it they want it in them no matter what and will actually run towards attacks that are made of the cocaine. A person will still have some traces of their personality, however they will have an overwhelming feeling to get the drug in them. At four exposures a person will become totally hooked on the drug, everything they do will be for them to get get more of the drug into their system, even if it means death, at this point the cocaine is more valuable to them then their lives.
Before getting into how the drug affects people physically there are a a few more things of interest to note about the cocaine. Wycliff can actually control how much is secreted from Chūdoku. At any given point he can cause the amount to be next to nothing or have it flood out in massive quantities. The lowest amount of cocaine he can have come out of the blades at one time is only one drop every three seconds. Now the most he can have coming off of a blade at a time is equal to a gallon of water every three seconds.
The more exposure someone has to the cocaine the more damaging it is to them. The first thing that someone will notice is a rash on their skin where ever the cocaine touched. Now the rash at first looks bright red and is somewhat sensitive to touch, however over time and prolong exposures the skin will start to crack. The skin cracks after three exposures or over a five post length of time. The rash and the skin cracking is actually due to the cocaine dehydrating a person's skin. Now after five exposures or a ten post length of time the skin will actually break and cause bleeding to occur due to the elasticity of the skin becoming next to nothing.
Now that is just the effect that the cocaine has on someone's skin, to think that such a drug wouldn't have any other effects would be foolish. The cocaine when introduced into a person's body raises the heart rate and blood pressure of a person. After the first time it is introduced someone's body their heart rate will start to increase meaning that their blood is pumping faster even if they should be calm and collected. The accelerated heart rate isn't what people should be worried about, it's the fact that their blood pressure is raised rapidly. After the first time the cocaine is introduced into their system their blood pressure raises up slightly causing some stress on their circulatory system. Any cuts that someone get at this will bleed out a bit more, but not too much. After someone has the drug in their system three times their blood pressure has risen to dangerous levels and their heart rate rises to at least 90 beats per minuet. Now the danger starts to happen here, if cut someone's blood will actually jet out the moment their cut. However that is just something they can see if they are cut, inside of their body damage starts to happen to their circulatory system. The walls of blood vessels are under so much pressure that they start to become worn out and damaged. If someone starts to push their body too much they will accelerate the damage being done in their body. If someone goes all out in either their speed or strength blood vessels inside of the body part that was pushed to it's full limit will burst inside and break causing internal bleeding. Pushing their body to their limit more than five times will cause their heart to have a heart attack. After ten exposures to the drug their heart is about ready to give out if someone pushes their body to it's limit either strength of speed wise they will have a heart attack. One thing to note is that due to the heart pumping so fast it will cause someone to become tired faster. (Does not effect the post limits on types or kenpachi's)
Now how does HE affect the body effects? For every 50 points in HE they can push back the damaging body effects by one post as long as they have less than 1000 HE . This means that the damage to the circulatory system and the damage to the skin are all pushed back. The cocaine burns out everything that even means someone's HE. Now here's the thing their HE will still work fine against anything else that isn't the effects of the cocaine. So if someone had 900HE and was cut by Wycliff with a blade the cut would still heal as if they had 900HE, but the damage done by cocaine will not heal if they have been exposed too many times.
Now how much can a person take before it's considered a lethal dose? While there is a lot of math involved to find out how much a person can take before they die of an overdose there is a simple way of solving for it after it's been summed up. It's based on a person's height and weight. For every foot they are it takes half a liter of cocaine and for every 20 pounds someone is it takes a quarter of a liter of cocaine for them to overdose so for someone who is six feet tall and 180 pounds it would take 5.25 liters of cocaine for them to overdose. This is either for a one time dose or multiple doses over the course of the battle.
All this has spoken about what happens when someone has been affected by his cocaine, but how does one be affected? There are many ways for the drug to get into someone's system. The most obvious way is for it to get into someone's bloodstream via a cut, injected or ingested. However that isn't the only way that the drug can be absorbed into a person's body. It can enter through any orifice in a person's body. An example would be a person's eyes or their nose. The final way it can be absorb although it is not as concentrated is through a person's pores on their skin. Wycliff can't be affected by the drug as it's his own reiatsu that's used to make the drug.
The overall of the shikai is production and control, while the overall power is cocaine the shikai allows for the production of said cocaine it doesn't make it. The control allows for Wycliff to move the cocaine in waves or gather it around him, it does not allow for the creation of constructs. The waves are very broad and not solid at all. A wave of cocaine hitting someone or moving around is the same as a gust of air moving past someone. It's not meant to attack it is simply used to move the cocaine around the battle field now while the effects of cocaine still apply, the waves are not constructs at all. Now one thing to note is that while he can move the cocaine in waves all cocaine around him is free to be moved however he wants, the only limit is where he wants it to go as long as it is 100 feet around him.
Now while it does allow for the production of cocaine that doesn't mean it's unlimited. There is a limit to how much can be out at a time, the max is 400 liters at any given time if more is ever produced the oldest cocaine not in someone's system is destroyed. Now where is the cocaine produced from? Well the most obvious answer is off of his blade, which is true cocaine does ooze out of his blade at a max of a gallon every three seconds there is one other place in shikai that the cocaine can come off of. It's his body, to be more specific it's his sweat. In shikai Wycliff can sweat out cocaine, while this cocaine can flow off at a rate of half a gallon every three seconds it doesn't get the advantage of being able to be flung off his blade with ease like the cocaine coming off of his blade.
In bankai the overall is all about mass production While it keeps the control of the shikai form and power and gains one other property. Any reitasu based attack he uses is now infused with cocaine meaning that they can further spread the addictiveness of the cocaine via contact. This is due to his bankai actively turning all of his free flowing reitasu into cocaine. So when he uses a technique part of the reiatsu that is used in it becomes cocaine and is fired along side the technique. This doesn't weaken the reiatsu based attack at all given that only a small part is changed to become cocaine. Someone can not be made to overdose on the reiatsu based techs because the amount is so small that it doesn't change the total amount that they have be exposed to however it is large enough to affect their mental resistance to it.
With the massive production of cocaine his trees and body can now easily let out a flood of cocaine each second if he wishes. The entire bankai is totally under Wycliff's control so all the cocaine around him and the coca trees move according to his will meaning that there no longer is a length limit as to the control of the cocaine. If he wants to he can command the trees to move and block attacks for him.
Let's make a snowman:
This is the simplest yet most versatile technique Wycliff has for his zanpakutou. This allows Wycliff to make cocaine constructs out of his cocaine. As long as there is enough cocaine he can make whatever he wants to. The only limits are the amount of cocaine around him and his own imagination. Each construct is controlled by his will and responds accordingly.
Drawbacks:
Now making the constructs isn't free it costs 100 reiatsu per construct and fifty reiatsu per post to keep the construct. While making constructs is a basic power that Wycliff has it isn't exactly an easy thing to keep track of so many constructs at a time so at base Wycliff can control five constructs at a time and each level of battle focus increase this amount by 2.
Inject the pleasure:
From the cocaine around him Wycliff is able to create up to three cocaine filled syringes. Each syringe contains a large amount of purified cocaine worth the equivalent of three liters of cocaine When he uses this tech he must create three of them at a time, however not all three have to be created in the same spot. They can be made inside of any cocaine construct he has and fired out of them or he can make them in his own hands to store them for later use. They do not have a limit as to how long they last. One last thing to note is that they can also float around Wycliff as he fights and launch at any time he wants due to his shikai overall, this carries over to bankai as well.
Disadvantages:Trying to inject someone with the cocaine is hard as he needs to get close and try to hit them with it. This costs 100 reiatsu per needle once activated and no reiatsu to keep the needles. He can only have two full rounds of inject the pleasure at a time and he can not use it more than twice a post.
Skin of bliss.
Wycliff allows the cocaine to wrap around his body and form a sort of second skin on him that clings to his body. This second skin stays attached to him with all movement he does. In this state Wycliff appears totally white as the only thing not covered in cocaine are his eyes. Now just having a second skin of cocaine to make him appear to be a white shadow isn't the main reason for this technique. The real purpose happens when someone does a physical attack against him the moment a physical attack comes within an inch of him the cocaine skin will gravitate towards it and attempt to engulf the attack entirely. If someone tries to attack him at a close range the skin will try to engulf the blade and continue to engulf the welder of the blade. The skin reacting to an attack before it hits him allows him to block most if not all of the damage from the physical attack. Attacks weaker than the skin will be blocked and engulfed by the cocaine.
Disadvantages: The skin has no reaction to reiatsu based attacks at all. Someone could spam skills like that for the entire battle and the skin would not react, it also doesn't protect from reiatsu based attacks either. It costs him 300 to activate this technique. Now the skin can not block all physical attacks. It can only block the first two physical attacks before it is stretched too far and falls off. After that happens Wycliff needs to pay another 300 to reuse the skin. Now the skin is very tiring to use and drains his stamina fast. He can only use it for a total of seven posts before he is too tired to continue to keep it up and fight. If he does use it for an eighth post at the end he will pass out. One final thing to note is that he can deactivate this at any time while it is on. The cocaine can react to any physical attack that moves under 600 speed. Now the skin is only as strong as Wycliff's OS.
Field of wonder:
This technique creates thirty cocaine mines around him. However at first glance there only seems to be about five floating cocaine mines around him on all sides. No matter how hard someone looks they will only see five five of them around him, so where are the other ones? The other twenty five mines are actually right under the ground spread out around him in a multi ring pattern around him in a thirty foot radius. The mines hovering around him in the air are stationary they can not move, however the ones right underground can move and will follow Wycliff around as he fights and he can control the way they are set up under the ground . The mines will normally go off if they are stepped on or touched, however Wycliff can chose to have them blow up at any time if he wants. Now each mine when it blows up doesn't have that much strength, most people can shrug it off with ease, however each one does contain two liters of cocaine and being in the center of an explosion of one will cause someone to be hit by it all.
Drawbacks: The first drawback is the cost, it costs him 300 to create the mines and they last for three posts. Secondly Wycliff can't make the mines move out of the range that they were created. So at max he can have them move thirty feet away from him but no more(in shikai, in bankai he can move them freely in the dome.)
Seed of life:
Unlike all the other techniques before this one gives a bit of insight into what Wycliff's bankai form is. When activated it costs 150 reiatsu and a small seed is formed either in Wycliff's hand or inside any cocaine construct or cocaine in the area. Now the seed can be used one of two ways, both offering a distant advantage in the fight. The first way is to fire off the seed towards something or somewhere in an area around him. When it lands on something the seed sprouts out a small tree who's leafs give out a small cocaine mist that slowly expands outwards at first it will have a five foot radius the tree that expands out each post by five feet in all directions. If this lands on someone the roots will try to wrap around someone as the tree starts to grow. The second way is to eat the seed himself, if he does the cocaine will actually start to radiate off of his own skin in an area of a foot around him that grows by one foot each post
Drawbacks: There is no limit to how long a tree can stand for however each post that a tree exist he has to pay 75 reiatsu per post per tree. Meaning that if he has five trees it costs him 375 reiatsu to maintain the trees. Which means that this can quickly become very reiatsu taxing if he isn't careful. If a seed is eaten there is a 100 reiatsu per post cost to maintain the mist off of his body. However the higher cost isn't the only drawback from eating the seeds after five continues posts of having the reiatsu come off of his body he will start to feel internal pain as the seed starts to actually grow inside of his stomach, after seven continuous posts the roots will start to grow and damage his internal organs and after nine continuous posts the roots will grow enough to cause internal bleeding any more and it will kill him. To pull out the plants from a person's body a person needs 150 strength, this amount increases by 50 per post the pant is in someone's body. (Trees grow fully as soon as they land.)
Bankai Techs:
Ecstasy's Palace:
This is Wycliff's last act technique. When he uses this it is to end a fight right away, that is if he can land it. Unlike his other techniques this actually takes two posts to fully work, however there are events that happen during the first post. First the mist from the trees start to form a dome around everything and engulf the surroundings around them. After the dome has been made the walls of the dome of cocaine start to harden and form a solid mass. From that mass all the cocaine that is flying around starts to stick to the walls slowly shrinking down the moveable space inside of the dome. The coca trees all vanish and turn into cocaine that fills the dome causing a sandstorm of cocaine to occur in the dome. Now the area inside of the dome is shrunk down to one mile all around to be able to move around isntead of the five miles of the coca grove that use to exists. As Wycliff's first post ends the cocaine storm that was going for the start of this post stops and the mist clears leaving Wycliff visible to his foe and vise versa. Now during this post and his opponents post they can try to escape by any means. If they manage to then this tech fails and Wycliff loses half of his reiatsu, however if they don't then at the start of Wycliff's next post the rest of the technique activates. The walls of the dome actually rapidly shrink down and the area that people have to move inside of the dome shrinks down to nothing. Once someone is encased by the cocaine it actually forces it's self inside of any orifice that it can find that doesn't belong to Wycliff. The entire bankai will be forced inside of someone killing them from overdose and causing what is left of their body to burst from the massive amount of mass entering their body.
Drawbacks: The reiatsu cost, this costs Wycliff all of his reiatsu (A min of 1000). The cost is taken at the start of his next post. The thing to note is that it is very easy to dodge in the first post given that nothing actually is trying to attack the foe or hurt them. If they escape the dome in the first post the second post effect will not happen and Wycliff will lose half of his current reiatsu escaping the dome means that they have left it physically in any way possible. The walls of the dome are as strong as his highest offensive stat though. That being said they have to actually physically leave the dome. Wycliff can not react to their attempt to escape, but he can react to attacks directed at him. Meaning if someone fires a cero at the wall of cocaine in order to escape he can't do anything to that, however if someone fires a cero at him he can move out of the way. This will end bankai even if the second post doesn't happen. The cost for the technique is taken at two times, the first post takes away 500 reiatsu the second post either takes away the rest of his reiatsu depending on if he succeeds or half of what he has left if it fails either way bankai ends instantly.
What kind of update: [Clearing up some issues with his powers based off of speed of cocaine moving and what stat is being used for combat and a few changes to reflect said changes.]

Addiction and Resistance
Now being exposed to the drug once doesn't mean that someone is instantly doomed to being addicted to it forever. There are ways to resist the drug. Physical effects
Now onto the other reason as to why Chūdoku's cocaine is much stronger than it's human world counterpart. Just as actual cocain will eventually cause the mind and body to "burnout", becoming unable to function in a meaningful or productive manner, so to will Wycliff's cocaine burn out the victims soul; repeated exposure will cause their very soul to gradual wear out, which in turn causes their body to rapidly show signs of long term cocaine use in a short amount of time along with some other side effects unique to Wycliff's cocaine. Their body is actually destroyed because the cocaine is targeting a person's soul to burn out. The more exposure someone has to the cocaine the more damaging it is to them. The first thing that someone will notice is a rash on their skin where ever the cocaine touched. Now the rash at first looks bright red and is somewhat sensitive to touch, however over time and prolong exposures the skin will start to crack.
Lethal dose
Shikai Overall Ability:
Bankai Overall Ability:
With the massive production of cocaine his trees and body can now easily let out a flood of cocaine each second if he wishes. The entire bankai is totally under Wycliff's control so all the cocaine around him and the coca trees move according to his will meaning that there no longer is a length limit as to the control of the cocaine. If he wants to he can command the trees to move and block attacks for him.
