The furred creature's words towards Valentin left him puzzled at first, she spoke as if she too lived in the desert world of Hueco Mundo and showed quite some camaraderie. ''You uh, what?'' his brain malfunctioned trying to piece it together as he looked her way before a logical thought finally entered his mind ''Oh, right. You're one of those fellows from Las Arenas right? that's the only feasible explanation i can think up as to why you don't look at me with that human-brand distain. I'll hold you to that then, i might need it.'' the hollow said while lightly gesturing towards Yetsuna. Valentin was pretty certain she meant nothing but trouble to him.

And shortly after he would find out that he was indeed right about that when she addressed him directly. ''So when the bigger problem is dealt with i'm up next? gee~ i can't wait to stick around for you to stab me to death later'' the hollow spoke sarcastically ''But yes i quite understand ma'am stick up her ass, and i would have ma'am know that despite how tasty all the reiatsu emanating from you all look i run a strict diet consisting of hollows and Arrancar. Albeit i have no issue feeding on those who strike me first.'' he made sure to add on top of it. But as he quieted down to give others the word the motherload of bad luck seemed to have struck the poor unfortunate Adjuchas.

Shinigami, two of them, and one was a bloody VICE CAPTAIN? ''Nuh-uh! i'm out, fuck off, i'm going solo! I ain't trusting my back to someone's who's job description is to slaughter hollows to their last breath.'' he said as he hurriedly walked off and up the stairs ''Haven't killed nobody who didn't try to end me first, got no reason to cut me down!'' the hollow had began shouting obnoxiously in a foul mood, fouled even further when the vice captain followed him up the stairs making firm that she wasn't intending to let him out of her sights. A sigh of defeat escaped the hollow, sure he could utilize an ulcera to straight out walk through the wall to escape her for now but he doubted he could actually outrun her for very long, the Adjuchas was not a speedy one. 

''Fine you... you follow, but if you try anything!'' he said agitated as he looked at her, soon noticing the state of her weapon when he looked down ''You uh... yeah... no. Whatever that is it is doing the opposite of making me trust you. Please stop it?'' the hollow inquired by the time the two of them reached the doors. Looking up he noticed the jumble of faded letters and thought he might've figured it out, ''to lobby'' seemed to fit it. ''I guess this is the lobby then, Don't think they still provide service do you?'' the hollow resorted to say to lighten things up just a little bit. No matter where they seemed to go the place as equally eerie and concerning to Valentin and it had him wonder what crimes the building had committed to deserve such a fate.

And then of course, the bloody doll was back. Valentin stared at the darned thing annoyed but didn't want to get any closer, he had seen the horror movies of the modern times and there were risks the Adjuchas just wasn't willing to take. ''Whoever it is thinking themselves so funny with those creepy dolls i want to make them eat a can of spiders. And not just the spiders, i'll shove the can down their throat too if need be!'' he stated as he directed the tip of his tail ahead of him, aiming for the doll as he shot out one of the spikes from his tail like a bullet aimed for the freaky things head. ''So why are all you people here anyways? i feel as if I've stumbled into something i wasn't supposed to.'' he asked of her as he looked around, one eye still on the doll out of paranoia.

For the moment Valentin would play the passive card, there certainly had to be something interesting behind that little blockade ahead but the Adjuchas wasn't keen on angering miss vice captain by taking the initiative, he did very much like living. ''So you planning to pry that thing open or not?'' he'd ask her curiously, implying that they should find out what was behind it. ''I might be able to sneak a peek to what's on the other side, but that's of course if i can trust you not to stick a sword up my ass as i struggle through the narrow passage.'' he said, regardless he would do as she asked for now, either to crawl up the vents or remove bits of the blockade together with her.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [This technique allows Valentin to fire off spikes that can be grown from any part of his body in front of wherever he's aiming the spikes to a penetrating power equal to his Reiatsu Strength and a Static Speed of 600. The spikes on average are the size of a short punching dagger or 5 inches long and 1 inch wide so they can do moderate harm however there is a limited number of them. On his tail he has 10 spikes usable for that purpose and regenerates them naturally by 1 spike per 50 healing expertise a turn when it comes to those on his tail. Expending Reiatsu he can generate these same spikes from any part of his body with a cost of 25 Reiatsu for two spikes.



This technique acts as a stepping stone for further abilities as the spikes fired from his body are still alive and connected to him for a time, his Reiatsu visibly still present in them. They are made from an outer layer of bone structure with a fleshy inside akin to an organ though initially inert and malleable until another ability makes use of them and gives them purpose. Should there be no resistance from the body it hits for example a friendly and aware target then the spikes will upon penetration sacrifice their bone exterior to heal the wound made upon entry after the organic part has gone inside. Even if they do not strike a target they will still become a beacon for his spiritual energy and just as capable to transform to suit his purposes. this flesh eventually dissolves within twenty minutes whether or not having a host to sustain itself from and would have to be replaced to continue it's duties.]

It seemed that everyone that had come to this asylum wasn't in the mood to be working alongside anyone else. The tension between most of them was thick although Nami being the way that she was couldn't feel the tension or recognize it. She was addressed by the shinigami that had just come to the asylum and made sure to warn the hollow that Nami had tracked here. Although she had warned the hollow herself Nami wasn't going to hold back either. If this hollow attacked anyone that wasn't a threat than Nami was going to be the one to slay it. At the news that this shinigami was a vice captain Nami starred her over for a moment. "I'm Nami Kawa assigned to Karakura Town." Nami was going to keep speaking to the shinigami if she had more to say, but the hollow didn't wait long to start leaving and she followed after him. Nami decided it was best to go her own way.

Nami walked throughout the halls of this long abandoned asylum constantly turning her heads gazing from one spot to another looking over everything that she could in order to search every inch of this place until she found the source of whatever was kidnapping the spiritual community of Karakura Town. As she walked throughout the hallway that she had now reached she walked to each separate doorway and looked inside for something that would seem out of place yet she didn't find anything. So she continued onward searching for whatever it was that had been using this asylum as a base of operations.

It didn't take long to check as there were only the two rooms in the hallway until Nami moved on to the double doors and moved through entering into the garden area of the asylum. The large tree in the middle of this room was obviously out of place to the point that even Nami thought it was odd. It didn't serve any purpose and in fact it seemed more problematic than not having one in this area at all. Everything was obviously ill attended as nothing seemed to still be alive after what could only have been years without care. Looking around the area Nami nearly missed the light coming from in front of the tree that gave away the position of the control panel at the base of the tree.

As she looked it over she came to the conclusion that the door at the back of this room led to the most likely place housing whatever was the source of these kidnappings or perhaps even those that had been taken were being stored behind that door. The dried blood gave away that perhaps someone injured had been carried through here or had fought back. Either way it didn't matter because to open that door it seemed she would need to use this control box, but to do that she would need to find a key and increase the amount of power charge in the box. However, just to check Nami grabbed the dog tags at her throat manifesting the large claymore that is her Fullbring. Walking over to the door she'd swing her blade against the door as hard as she possibly cut in order to check if she couldn't simply cut her way through it.

”Hmmgh..” Luke murmured to himself within the mask as he traced the cone of light across everything strewn across the room. ”It’s like Michael Scott threw up in here.” Jäger joked. Bending down and scooping some papers off the floor, Luke lifted the old papers to his face before looking around for a desk. Finding one and putting papers down, Luke got to reading. ”How the hell is anyone expected to find anything in all this?” Springflut asked as Luke moved to another sheet of paper. ”By reading, moron.” Windstarke snapped back, as Luke mumbled inside his mask before frowning.

Suddenly, without warning, Luke tore the thing off. ”But you’ll catch aids!” Jäger was ignored. In truth, Luke couldn’t see very well through it. It wasn’t a very good mask. He’d take his chances. Uzaki Enterprise’s had the best medicine in the world. “Atarashīki bō” Luke read. New Hope, huh? Luke had heard the name of this place when he looked into a little, but seeing the name here filled him with a sense of grime irony. A place called New Hope and yet it turned out like this? But Luke kept reading. And soon enough he began to wish he hadn’t.

He couldn’t keep his eyes from widening as he read more and more of the papers strewn across the room. He couldn’t keep his inner anger from beginning to boil up to the surface either. ”Jesus christ...is this real?” Jäger asked. Apparently so. Finding the remains of a filing cabinet and finding what was documented inside those folders only served to further infuriate Luke. While he couldn’t really understand medical jargan very well, he could at least read and get a good understanding. He may not know the names of drugs but he knew that that was what was being given to the patients, in a higher amount. ”How did this place not get shut down?” Windstarke asked, as the answer to what happened to this place was finally revealed.

Letting the article fall back down onto the floor, Luke stared ahead for a few moments. So that’s what all these black shapes are then.. he said to himself, closing his eyes for a moment before turning back towards the door with his cone of light illuminating the way. All that was left was to check the Maintenance room. Entering the room Luke found a pretty standard array of supplies. Nothing really stood out to him at first. There wasn’t really anything he needed. The walkie talkies certainly interested him but there wasn’t anyone to use them. Leading the light across the room he paused when he noticed the generators.

The central power source was still on? Luke frowned as he approached it, gently placing the back of his hand against it to learn that it was warm. This thing was still in use?? Looking down at the portable back ups, Luke also noticed the empty spaces of dust were some of the generators had to have been. Someone moved them. Someone was here after all. Oh fun. Turning, Luke left the Maintenance room and decided to head to corridor he entered from. He was going to go to the right this time.

[Yetsuna Yishnir]

The words "Las Arenas" caught Yetsuna's attension as the hollow attempted to figure out where the clansmen was from. She hadn't heard of the area before, but her initial guess it was that it was probably a group hiding in the wildnress or, more likely, somewhere in Hueco Mundo considering the beasts sympathy towards a hollow. She'd have to make sure to file a report on the group when she got back and try to dig up whatever info the gotei had on them, though considering this was the first they were hearing of the group she was willing to guess they didn't have much, that or the group wasn't considered a threat. When the hollow attempted to defend itself from her accusations she was willing to give some weight to the words it spoke, but she still didn't trust it; they were just monsters that needed to be purified.

As Yetsuna followed the hollow up the stairs she unsealed her release, allowing the metal to turn into a liquid state as it flowed down her arms, covering and reforming her gauntlets, much to the hollows distress. While she didn't show it she found the hollows reaction somewhat amusing, "I'm not worried about if you trust me or not, but this," she said hold up her one of her new gauntlets to show the hollow, "isn't for you. At least not yet. I don't know what's up here and I want to be prepared." As they investigated the second floor Yetsuna noticed several things, the dolls in the corner of the rooms, making a total of 4 so far, and each one looked like the other. One theory was maybe a patient had made and placed them but at the same thing about them told her such wasn't the case. When the hollow decided to comment on them she would wave him off, "Just don't worry about them."

The soot marks on this level all seemed to be trying to escape the area, and after a short look around she saw a barricaded door; they had been trying to keep something in that room, though what was the real question. Considering the circumstances she was willing to bet that it wasn't normal by human measurements, hence the barricade. Before the hollow could even blink she had already weighed the options before them, she could bust the door easily, but she didn't know what was on the other side and she didn't like that. Considering she had an amorphous creature with her she figured she could put it to use, but that meant letting it out of her sight, which she also didn't like, and that was assuming it came back telling her the truth. She settled on busting the door down, she disliked that option more, but there were too many "ifs" she she let the hollow go away from her.

"Yes, we'll bust the door down, I still don't want you out of my sight," she paused for a moment, "that said, stay close to me during this, if something comes out I should be able to defend us." For her to defend a hollow felt weird, but at the same time unless she or another shinigami slayed it the trapped soul would be lost so her choice was clear. With a small burst of reiatsu she summon a human sized stone fist to crash through the door. Unless something super natural was holding the door shut she would be able to bust it open with ease. With the deed done Yetsuna noticed something out of the corner of her eye, movement, but it wasn't fast, like something charging past her, no it was slow........fuckin hell the shadows were moving towards her. Great.

Her mind moved fast, maybe it was because she touched some of a stain in the entrance, maybe something was controlling them? Either way she wasn't going to risk letting them reach and/or touch her. "The shadows are moving," she'd inform the hollow as she started to float a short distance off the floor using air ground as a "just in case".

Shadows? There were certainly shadows that concealed the corners of the halls and rooms. But was to come were not what they were thought to be. Human remains of the past, remains that never left, remains that carried the tormented emotions of those that were left behind when the fire spread across the facility. What Yetsuna saw coming was drawn to her. But why her? They were alive, but at the same time dead. From within the closest black soot silhouette, a moan. Weak, groggy, a bit faint, but it was there. Heard a foot away the moan continued. Disembodied as it was. At least, until fingers clawed out from the silhouette. The pair of hands gripped the floor as if serving as a platform in which it will use to raise itself up. Slumped shoulders, then the head. Almost seemingly nothing more than bones, a ghastly aura poured from the body. A closer look at the rising creature revealed bits of flesh and a pieces of gray clothing material dripping from it's stumbling form. It moaned once more, fixing it's head, snapping itself to peer at the pair in front of it.

A single step taken as it groaned, almost hungry. Sluggish, lazy, the rotting figure continued to motion closer and closer towards the pair as the right arm rose to reach out for the Shinigami. But it wouldn't be alone. Another, similar to it crept from the wall to the right of the group. Same as the first, this one pulled itself from out of the blacked stain that was on the wall. This one however only looked to the group, then to the door. Immediately after, it's sights were more focused on that of the first body that rose up. The secondary body limped slowly away from the wall. Unlike the first, the gas that protruded from this one was a bit more faint. Unlike the other, it's face seemed more human, retaining more of the flesh that it appeared to once have. Patches of black hair on the side with few strands hanging off the top of the scalp. Bones beneath the exposed tissue snapped, it's head cocked back as it howled. Shrieking more like it.

The high pitched shriek was loud enough to ring the ear drums, echoing throughout the halls of the facility. It did not matter where the other visitors were at, as the piercing howl could be heard from where they were. Feminine, that would be the thought after hearing it, but unnatural of course. But it alone sounded like an alarm. No. Not an alarm, but something similar to its function. The black stains on the floor and walls came to life. Peeling away from their setting, each one resembling the other in terms of physical features. Ghastly aura - check, decaying flesh - check, slow movements - check, appearing to be hungry - double check. If counting the amount of bodies that were filling the hallway, the least amount would be thirty, with five more rounding the corner. Each one grumbling, growling from the back of what remained of their throats and lungs. But among their cries and moans came one that was very different. One with actual feeling behind it. And it came from behind the barricaded doorway. A young girl's cry. That came when the Shinigami's forged fist came crashing through the door.

The doorframe cracked along with the walls. Rubble and pieces of building material began to fall around the pair, showing signs of age and damage that the foundation around them already suffered. If more brute force was applied into the building material around them, then surely it will come tumbling down over their heads. Sounds of rushed movements scurried throughout the interior of the room as the ghastly bodies continued to approach the group, and doorway. "AAAHHH! STAY AWAY FROM ME!" the voice cried out once more from within the opened room. The reiatsu that was felt in the walls moved away, taking form in the bodies that were now motioning towards them. If ventured inside, a clothed figure would be seen cowering in the far left corner of the small room as four apparitions ripped themselves from the walls within the small box. What would the Valentin and Yetsuna do?

As for Nami, the might that she applied into the bared door was more than sufficient enough to break it down. Both metal doors were blown away by the strength of the woman's weapon. Though the amount of force applied did show other signs of wear and tear along the walls connected to the doorframe. Cracks spread across the walls beside the woman as pieces of ceiling and wall material fell from their original places. The building was old, weakened as what transpired to the facility earlier had made it so. But never the less, Nami achieved what she desired as the door led to a hallway. A small hallway that led toward the docking area. Here, the burned remains of the hallway was more evident. Empty, rotten odor, but more so were the black stains that were seen before in the lobby. Not the same, but definitely similar to them. More apparent than them was the scream.

From the woman's point of view, it echoed roughly around her, through the hall in front of her, and through the Garden behind. An enraged shriek. Blood thirsty from this area. As with the pair of Valentin and Yetsuna, the black silhouettes stirred and peeled away from their posts. Moaning weakly before emerging from the walls, the ghastly figures stumbled from their places, turning their heads toward Izanami. Unlike those that the pair encountered, these ghastly figures worn white stained coats. Lab coats. Flesh nearly rotted away from their bodies. The bloody path that the woman sought out stopped to where the first stain resided, just a foot away from her position. The only thing about it was, there was no body. It ended prematurely as though the trail began there, rather than at the tree. It wouldn't matter at this point in time, as 10 figures filled the hall in front of the women, reaching out for her. Would Nani engage the figures, or simply seek out help, or the other option to run. Whatever she decided, it must be soon as they drew closer, with more filling end of the hallway with seemed to be another 6.

Ajraka's discover would surely come to help if she could manage to find where the key belonged to. Possibly a new path, a new opening of some sort, or maybe something for the worst? Who knew what would come if the key was used, but all that was for certain was the two crashing echoes that roared through the asylum halls. One colliding at from a higher level of the facility, while another came shortly after. Both in the same general direction, but the strength of the two was obviously different. One seemingly coming from the higher levels, as the other seemed on the lower level of the staircase. Their combined force caused the walls and glass to crack, shiver with dust falling from overhead. But what more came after the sounds of disturbance was that of the single shrieking cry. One that would pierce through the earring of the Beastclan member. There was no pain, but it was certainly more clear to her than to the other races that was inside.

This came from where the first crash originated from. It resonated through the halls and rooms around Ajraka. And just as the eery vibration moved the walls, the reiatsu within them stirred. It was moving. And as they moved, so did the stains that resided on the sofa, the staircase, and those that remained around the presence of the girl. Unlike the other participants, Ajraka had more to deal with than the rest. Being in a larger area, the number of stains that were present were that of greater numbers. The shriek from before beckoned to those that slumbered, waking them from their once spiraling dream like state. From their posts the apparitions tore themselves away from the building's walls and furniture. Ten approaching from the stairs, five from across the lobby, with another 20 that pulled themselves from the burned remains of the facility's inner structure and floor, it would soon become aware that the girl was being surrounded.

Glass splintered and cracked from behind her. Their groans heard from the office units that resided behind her. A look over her shoulder would reveal their limping forms passing through the doorways of the parallel rooms to the woman's sides. Every second that passed they drew closer and closer with a single shrouded figure's body odor in nose's whiff distance. It reeked as the environment did, putrid. Few among their ranks wore Lab Coats, while others a turquoise scrub. It was more than noticeable, and easy enough to recognize who these people were with a bit of thought. The issue remained however. There were a total of 45 shadows that surrounded the Beastclan member, with one exception. They were keeping some distance away from the basement level.

*CRASH*.........*CRASH* The ground and walls shook with some minor intensity. After leaving the Staff Offices into the opposite direction, the Bount came upon a laboratory. Just as bad as the Offices were, the lab didn't seem to be much better. Unlike the operations area that Ajraka had investigated, these labs were meant for extracting and chemical research. It was here that the drugs were being siphoned and mixed. Essentially, the heart of the projects. However, with how the facility was designed, based on the layout that Luke had seen, it didn't appear that there weren't any more "secured" rooms that an asylum originally should have. If this was indeed an asylum, where did those rooms reside? Broken beakers and burned desks. Clean rooms and small examination tables. The old spoiled papers here were sullied just the Staff Offices were. However, there was some juicy information here pertaining to physical steroids. One of the few projects that could be made out as a project meant to help awaken the human's full potential in the mind, senses, and physical abilities. A super human in other words.

However, there were some issues to the prototype serums. Insanity, unstable mentality, and violent aggression. No one would have ever guessed that the patients were given serums on the outside, while those behind the scenes could easily pass it off as being mentally ill. If the patients were treated with this serum, then it would make sense to have them set in those secured rooms. Upon closer inspection, a "special area" was designed. An area that was meant for those who would develop the side effects. This special area was described to be vast, and was said to held in the "Garden" area. The method of entering the area was burned away, and it would be after finding this out did the shriek come to fill the halls. The crashing noises came, then the shrieking. It was clear as the ash covered walls. But more to it than that was the reiatsu that filled the walls. They were moving now.

Shuffling was heard outside of the dual-laboratory sector. On the other side of the lab tables was the door. Beyond there, beyond the frame that led to the halls outside. Shuffling, moaning, and a chorus to follow suite. One, four, oh no, there were ten in total. The walls lost what reiatsu that had in them, and were gathered into 6 individual shufflers that came closer. The first entered, bumping into the frame. Wait, only 6, so then where were the other.... *Uuu...hhhhhh* came another. Rising up from a laying position, a shuffler came up beside the table closest to Luke. Another tore itself away from the farthest North-East corner wall. Two tumbled over the other through the cleaning room beside the Bount, as the remains of the once white curtains ripped away from their hinges. Slow as they were, in close proximity, who knows what they were capable of. The only question that remained was what will the man do?

Observing the woman's showing of her abilities Valentin looked wholly unimpressed during the whole thing, it wasn't the gauntlets that put him in dull grimace but rather her attitude towards him although he could expect little else from the likes of Shinigami, such rigid tools as they were. But hey, it was still a lot better than most of his Shinigami to hollow interactions. Usually those went along the lines of Valentin asking for their name before they got to the stabbing business to be polite-like and then getting stabbed instead of receiving a reply, proper rude that was. But the woman had said something that did make sense, this place was off and not being armed just in case things went bad would have been foolish.

Hence the Adjuchas had a trick of his own to show the Shinigami as his jaws unhinged and what appeared to be the pommel of a European sword stuck out of his toothy maws although looking to have been made out of pure ivory ornately carved in a flowery pattern rather than any metal. The same description could have been given for the handle that soon followed as more of a sword began to appear and one of Valentin's claws grabbed onto it and began to pull his homemade product out, soon showing an inwards curved cross guard complete with thumb guard on one side and a circle on the other which placed the weapon as belonging to the Renaissance. And lastly came the blade, at first with a jagged tearing blade with a multitude of teeth for a third of it's length the rest became the more easily recognizable double edged short sword with a straight blade and a sharp tip, a long fuller going from the beginning of the blade to near the tip.

The weapon now fully out of his gullet as his jaws closed the Adjuchas held out the beauty before himself with his right hand and began the process of bragging shortly after ''Any shape, any size, reiatsu infused and reliable. A more refined way of doing battle compared to my many savage brethren wouldn't you say?'' he stated, and quite truly so in his earnest desire to fight like men do when fight he had to. The important thing was 'when he had to' as Valentin possessed quite little in terms of bloodlust, well unless someone went and pissed him off but usually that was his job to do unto others. More importantly when receiving the Vice Captain's response as to how to proceed Valentin noticed the figures who were now on the move and more interesting their preference for the Shinigami over himself.

''Yes, the so called shadows are indeed moving.'' he told her sarcastically when noting they were more akin to infested corpses, zombies if you will. But, just to add insult to injury he added another line to tease her although in truth it was him trying to cope with actual zombies, he couldn't handle horror films at all and even took a step back in the initial fright but didn't want to appear weak to the Shinigami. ''I don't really think the corpses want to play the floor is lava, they don't look to have the childlike spirit to enjoy it-'' a moment later the woman seemed to have shoot off something that broke down the obstruction with ease ''Eyy, nice hit.'' he admitted before being interrupted by a scream, a harrowing scream of fear at that. 

Part of him wanted to ignore how human it had sounded, how innocent, and instead stick to the Vice Captain's back like glue. But stronger than fear was his old trauma where screams like these were plentiful from the days when he killed and ate not knowing better and feeling no shame. The voice was younger than that of the sister he had long ago consumed against his then crumbling will but that distinct fear in her tone made it feel to him as if it were the very same cry of imminent death, and this time Valentin was in a position to stop it. Without hesitation for what lay ahead the Adjuchas dashed forwards, technically through the Shinigami as he disappeared into the Valley of Screams with the aid of an Ulcera.

Thanks to it he would run his way through the hall unopposed where none of the undead could touch him as he made way to the cry of what he guessed to be a girl. Once inside and seeing the shrouded figure along with the four rising shapes in the room he returned to the plane of the human world, appearing just before the girl in what was probably quite the terrifying jumpscare if Valentin even compared to anything when there were rotting corpses walking about. ''No can do girly, getting you out of here!'' he yelled as with sword in hand he attempted to cut the beings down before they could cause her any harm, aiming to cut their spines first and if they still moved aim for limbs. Lastly for safety he'd fire two tail spikes each to pin the bodies to walls or floors to at least keep them at bay.

Valentin had doubts whether or not it would work so his next step would be to forcibly scoop the girl up with his free left arm under his armpit and yell to his temporary comrade a quick and concise message which ought to be enough ''DODGE OR DIE!'' he would say before a Cero grew from his mouth as he opened his jaws, the high pitched sound lasting for no more than a flash before being followed by the low buzz and the familiar dark red energy beamed forth massively through the hallway of foes. Valentin would try to keep the beam at sufficient size to go through the hallway without injuring any nearby supports trusting his skill in this particular ability although it would be impossible not to hit the door they had at first come through to get to the lobby but there was no way for him to avoid the Shinigami if she still stood in the way, nor would he be able to stop the deadly energy from making a large hole through the building elsewhere.

Technique Description and Effects:

Available only to Hollows or Arrancar of at least Gillian status, Cero is the signature technique of higher level Hollow races. This concentrates their reiatsu into a condensed blast of light which fires out, usually from the hands or similar body part, though many can use it from their chests, feet, mouths, or other appendages. Color is usually red, but many Arrancar have learned how to alter the color of their fired Cero. When charging it appears to be an orb, but when fired is a large, very wide beam. It has a distinct high-pitched sound when charging, and a very low growl when fired. Anyone can hear either, and thus discerning a Cero is very easy. In power, weaker Cero explode on contact with targets, but some Cero have enough power to keep going after hitting a target, and simply consume and disintegrate it.

This technique operates similarly to a stepping technique, but only moves at 5x the user's speed. However, the user weaves through rips in the fabric of whatever world they are in, and as such the hollows exits, and then re-enters at the destination, Hollows do not lose awareness of the world as they move through an Ulcera, and can return to the material world mid-step in response to a threat or opportunity. This technique does not take up a Technique slot.

Since it's been over a week since Val posted and Izanami hasn't posted yet, and with Ajraka out of the adventure, I'm going to go ahead and post

”Eh?” Luke murmured, turning away from the paper he had been reading over as he heard, and felt, the shaking. Brown eyes narrowed together as his mind began working to try and figure out what had just happened. The Bount had discovered this laboratory, where it seemed that various kinds of drugs were created and tested. It wasn’t in any better shape than the rest of the facility, and what files and documents Luke found were just as eaten away as the one’s in the Staff Room. But what Luke did find had been interesting. Information about a super human steroid. From what he read there had been complications with the steroid.

Brown eyes narrowed together as he continued to read and to learn. The patients who were given this experimental drug suffered side effects that were easily masked as mental illness. The picture was becoming clear. This wasn’t just some pharmaceutical company pretending to be a asylum to experiment cancer treatments on people...it was a actual bio-weapons lab. Okay, maybe bioweapon was a bit of a stretch but it was a good way to put it. The testing here was hoping to create a superhuman. Garden.. Luke noted with a stern expression. That was the place designed to house the test subjects? ”That would be the best place to store anyone with spiritual powers...wouldn’t it?” Windstarke asked as Luke thought that very same thing. His next objective was clear. Find the Garden.

The reiatsu in the walls was moving. Luke could hear shuffling and moans coming from outside the door. ”Oh...oh please don’t be zombies please don’t be zombies..” Jäger practically begged as Luke readied himself. Whatever it was, he didn’t like it. He could feel the reiatsu all around him stirring. It moved about uncomfortably, as if the building was coming to life. But the reiatsu was leaving the walls, and what Luke saw come through the door made him gasp. Ghastly figures began to pour into the room from the hallway. Luke blinked as he looked at them. Another rose up from behind a table near him, while two more fell into the room from a cleaning room.

”Wait...are these-” Springflut began to ask before being interupted by Luke. ”Spirits...yeah.” Luke recognized them very quickly. It was the only thing they could be. They weren’t Hollows. They clearly weren’t alive. The Bount frowned, backing away slowly to give himself more room from the horde that shuffled its way towards them. ”Aaaaahahahahaaagh I don’t like this!” Jäger cried out as Luke let his head bounce back and forth as he worked through what he should do. ”Jäger, relax! What’s the plan here? What’re we going to do?” Windstarke asked Luke.

Luke frowned before he lowered his arms. It almost looked like he didn’t intend to fight. With a calming sigh, he closed his eyes as the shufflers got closer. But, suddenly without warning, Luke snapped his eyes open. As he did so, an aura was released from him that would hit the spirits hard. Considering their spiritual abilities, there was a very strong chance that they were a lower Class than Luke was which was why he tried this out. An explosive pump of intimidation was released from Luke as the Bount activated the first of the Willpower techniques, Cog, to see what sort of effect it had. Once brown eyes now glowed amber, and the spirits would get a full taste of just what kind of power Luke possessed and how dangerous he was to them.

Luke remained standing, in a rather relaxed like posture, as Cog worked its magic. His eyes glowed a bright amber color. To those Spirits, Luke would appear like a tiger. A tiger put into a cage with fresh pieces of meat. In fact, there was a clear, inaudible message, delivered to each of those Spirits as they were hit by Cog. A fear that only a Bount could put into a Spirit. ”Run or get eaten.” was the message smashed, like a nail being hit by a hammer, into those spirits. Luke watched, to see how Cog worked on these things. Would they run? Or would they not be affected by it and force him to fight?

[Izanami Midorikawa]

As her large claymore was swung downwards with her right arm Nami could feel the door that she had expected to be reinforced in someway to prevent her from gaining easy access give to her blow. The door was cut down and Nami could see that it led somewhere eventually once she walked through what appeared to be a dark hallway that hadn't been used in years. She noticed almost immediately that sections of the wall were darker than others only to make the connection about the burn markings that she had seen earlier. Whatever had caused the previous ones more than likely had also caused these. She had to find whatever had been causing the disappearances if that meant she had to find out what had caused all of these markings as well than so be it.

She had plenty of areas to search not trusting anyone else to report back information to her that she could trust completely. If she didn't see it with her own eyes there was always the possibility that it wasn't correct. This hallway though would lead somewhere and it was the location closest to her to check. So she stepped forward into the hallway making it only a few feet when she heard the shriek of what sounded like a human female yet different somehow. It was like the girl was hurt, but at the same time it also sounded like something was wrong with her. Nami began to turn around and rush back towards the garden in order to try and search for what she could only assume to be a living human or perhaps the Vice Captain that had come in with her and the others, but her movement ceased when she heard the sound of something behind her now in the hallway.

Turning around Nami gazed down the hallway to see the figures pulling themselves from the walls. Whatever had caused the marking on the wall was most likely choosing to summon them now or control them. That meant that whatever it was had to be inside of the asylum right now. The chances of whatever had caused these markings also being the thing behind all of the kidnappings just seemed to get bigger and so Nami would have to search this asylum until she found the culprit. Jumping backwards while calling on the soul of the ground beneath her feet to help get her a few feet further back and now back just inside of the garden Nami inhaled air as she passed through it backwards.

Filling her lungs with air she began to focus her reiatsu. She had the most likely objective thought out and at the moment these entities moving towards her appeared to be nothing more than an obstacle and as such Nami was going to remove such an obstacle. As the air filled her lungs the oxygen and carbon dioxide separated only for her to exhale a moment later while concentrating her reiatsu into her throat. By the end of it all Nami would begin to breathe flames down the hallway towards the shadowy figures. Over the next few seconds the hallway would be nothing, but a tunnel full of fire that was constantly rushing away from Nami flooding the surrounding area and likely burning the walls themselves until finally she stopped and would take a look to see if the figures had survived or not.

[Yetsuna Yishnir]

No sooner had Yetsuna spoken then the shadowy figures that strewed the area began to manifest themselves as walking corpses, literally pulling themselves out of the ashes. It was another one of those movie moments in her life, one of those times where she felt her life bore a little too much resemblance to the movies and TV of the human world. "Zombies," she thought to herself, "Well, at least its something new to deal with for once." Their numbers were large, although far from being outside of the ability to be dealt with, but despite this she opted that moving would be their best strategy, the creatures shambled and moved fairly slowly, at least compared to what she was used to, so outrunning them shouldn't be too difficult, at least in theory. She manifested her stone fist and drove it through the door to make them an escape, and as she did she heard a cry, a human one, one that sounded like a child. 

"God damn it," the female thought to herself upon hearing the cry. Quickly looked around to try to get a visual on the source, but she couldn't see them just yet. As she began to move she felt a spike of reiatsu from the hollow and quickly turned see what it was doing, catching it just in time to see in disappear into some kinda hole like a garganta, although that didn't seem to be what it was exactly. "Fucker," she said to herself, the hollow was about to go after the fucking kid while she was occupied by the zombies. Yetsuna rapidly took off in the direction of the scream using her stone to amplify her movement speed, managing to stay just on the hollows heels. She'd try to fly over the top of the zombies, but barring that being possibly she'd just punch and shove any corpses out of her away as she moved. 

She was only a few feet away when the hollow reappeared on top of the child, and she charged, her fist raised to punch the hollow clear through the wall to protect the kid, but then she heard the hollow speak to the child and saw it going to pick her up. She'd stop her fist maybe a 2 or 3 feet from the hollows face realizing she had the wrong assumption, the hollow was trying to protect the child to eat it, behavior she honestly would not have expected out of a hollow. Before Yetsuna could redirect herself the hollow dispatched the four creatures that had been closing in on the child before shouting for her to duck. Yetsuna was already (assumingly) floating several feet in the air, so she should have been out of the line of fire, but if required she could simply force herself higher to get out of the way of whatever was coming. She'd watch as the hollow fired a cero and watched to see what, if any, effect is would have the on the zombies, but a rogue thought then hit her; they were in an old ass building, which might not be able to take the force of the cero, regardless of if it exploded or not. She mentally prepared herself to summon her stone if she needed it to protect herself, the child, and the hollow.

[Alicia Maine]

The Shinigami's flames pierced through the shadowy figures that began to fill the hallways in front of her. Unlike the other groups, she only had to handle a single direction of where the threat came from. Charred and obliterated from existence. They stood no chance against a ranged ability. The fire sprung into action even more as the dried remains of the hall's interior were set a ablaze once more. What little organic material lingered here were caught in the heat of the flame, expanding it's terrain into the intersection that split towards the docking area. These flames began to spread along with the sudden roar of a powerful stream of reiatsu that scourged close by; from the upper right corner of her eyes. The crimson beam seared through the walls and glass frames, swallowing partial of the ceiling. The heat still blazing from the hallway, and that of the Cero that been released.

The rumbling came afterwards. What the Cero caused to the old building was instability. Already, the building seemed to be ready to go with it's weakened foundation, and the damage from the incident years ago caused the walls and levels to be made vulnerable. In other words, it wasn't meant to hold up against immense pressure. The walls and ceiling shook, rustling from the amount of structure lost from the stream of reiatsu. Though, the rumbling wasn't done. It was far from being done, the rumbling that is. What Nami would feel wouldn't be from the building around her, but beneath her feet. It came in beats, apart at first, then gradually closer and closer. Something wasn't right.

And just before another thought came to mind, the tree, located at the center of the garden erupted. The roots began to tear from the ground. The large thick stem arched as the ground beneath it quaked and cracked. The sound of iron and steel being forced, peeled away from their designed positions. Soon, the ground beneath it peeled open, unwrapped from the front with a single white entity crawling out from the newly made hole. Human form, pale white skin, motioning while on all fours. It howled, screeching with a piercing cry that resonated with that of the entire building. Not long after, it motioned away from the hole and out towards the lobby. Steam vented from the hole that it had emerged from. Steam? Steam beneath the tree? What more was there to it?

As for the Bount, things couldn't be any more simpler. The release of reiatsu that he believed to be threatening didn't seem to have the ideal effect that he desired. To them, it wasn't fear or dismay that they felt. Far from it. Instead, it was excitement. Jaws tore open, splitting the gums and flesh along their cheeks to better widen their putrid mouths. Brushing off the old grim and ash from their frozen bodies, the shadows snapped their bodies out of their original positions, stretching outwards for look for a better reach. Opening their jagged mouths, a low pitched exhale of air came out of their hungering bodies, looking to sink their teethes into their new target. The shadows closed in, with the shadow on the opposite side of the table flexing it's muscles, ripping the table from the ground away to the side. Why is it now that they were reacting now of all times?

Suddenly, the walls and ceiling shook. The entire area was vibrating violently for a few moments as a loud growl came from the hallway. A bright red light poked it's way into the labs, dimly of course. His sensory and intuition would have definitely understood what must have caused it if having already experienced it, or at least seen it before hand. From that moment on, the shadows turned away from the Bount. A bit... confused? Those in front, the six, turned away, moving towards the red dim light that came from the hallway behind them. As for the remaining four, they turned back to face Luke, continuing their pursuit for the man's skin. What was he to do, especially with the introduction of the newest addition to the cries from beyond the walls.

The high pitched shriek sprung out. This was obvious as the force from it shook the walls once more. When it came to a finish, beyond those of the shadow shufflers, it was quiet. Something else had joined the game. But what was it? All that he knew from it was the fact that it too came from the hallway.

Well, this was certainly a mess. The cero released moments ago tore through the walls and bits of ceiling that they came from. The power behind the stream of reiatsu caused the remains of the roof and ceiling overhead to shake and slowly crumble from above. Concrete and what was left of the steel beams tumbled from their bare foundation blocks to fall on top of the Hollow and Shinigami pair. Not only did the pair had to contest with that of the crumbling structure around them, but the weakened floor was already about to give as well. Cracking along the tiles, the floor began to shake and fall through to the bottom floors below the pair. The girl screamed as the shadows were dispatched with ease. Not much of a real threat as they seemed to be. After all, they were just remnants of those that were left to die within the scorched building years ago. What display of excessive force caused much to be stirred, especially what came afterwards.

A shriek.

The same shriek that the others would have heard clearly. So why not the Adjuchas and Shinigami. Despite what Valentin had done to save the panicking girl, she continued to fret at the sight of him. "S-stay.. away... Get away from me!" she cowered. Seeing Yetsuna didn't make much of a difference. As she crawled away from the pair, from the tumbling structure around her, the trashy brown garb she had on fell off, only to reveal a young teenage girl. Blonde hair, green eyes, her complexion was horrid. Dirty white skin, displaying a set of a worn out long sleeve red shirt, and torn jeans top to bottom. "S-stay away from mee.! I-I'm not going back!.I'd rather die than go back" she screamed. She crawled, taking shelter beneath in what little remained of the desk in the far corner she resided in. It didn't matter if the room was going to fall apart around them, or her. She didn't wish to move. Especially when her eyes were keen more on the door than that of the pair.

Seeing them was one thing, but that of the shriek was another. "It's gonna find me... It's going to take me.. I don't want to go there... Not again... I don't want to..NOT AGAIN....Im safe here. Im safe here. Safe. Safesafesafesafe." she muttered slowly, then quickly increasing her pace as it drew near the end turning from a hysteric sob to that of a cackle. "safesfafesafesafe...It won't find me...She won't get me...Notmenotmesafesafesafe." The girl curled up, rocking herself beneath the collapsing ceiling and roof.

Nami could feel the heat of her own reiatsu as she exhaled the massive torrent of flames down the hallway burning through both of structure of the hallway itself and the shadow figures that had poised what she assumed to be a threat against her and the others that were here to investigate the disappearances in Karakura. Nami could see that her technique was actually causing far more damage to the building than she had planned and stopped feeling the pain of using the technique in her lungs she had to inhale with a ragged gasp of breathe. Taking a few moments to breath Nami missed the first few hints that something else was coming now. After she got those first few fresh breaths of air though she felt it beneath her feet.

It felt like something was coming and with what she had just done it was logical to assume that whatever had been causing the figures was now approaching in order to eliminate her itself. An attack from beneath her was most likely at the moment along with the possibility that the ground itself was going to start attacking her through manipulation by whatever was coming. Shifting her weights and spreading the position of her feet Nami got prepared in order to evade the first sign of something coming or changing. However, what changed hadn't been what she was expecting. Suddenly the large dead tree in the center of the room looked to come alive as it moved tearing itself up from the ground. Grabbing her dog tags Nami commanded her Fullbring to take on its weapon form the massive claymore held in her right hand.

If the tree was being manipulated by something in order to attack Nami than she was left with virtually nothing to do, but eliminate the branches of the tree with her Fullbring. She could release its true power, but the tree was already dead based on how it looked which meant that there was a chance her release wouldn't work against it at all. By the time the white entity crawled up from beneath the tree Nami had been waiting for an attack for what felt like hours. Her experience, training and lack of emotions always made combat something that her focus never wavered in and while in such a situation her brain functioned at maximum capacity for nothing, until now. This white entity Nami assumed was what was behind the disappearances and everything else that had happened here. Although she had been expecting it to attack her it simply ran away and Nami was left chasing after it back the way she had come from the entrance.

''Geeh! annoying kid, i save a life and i get yelled at like i'm some monster, oh wait!'' he lamented in irritated irony, completely unaware Yetsuna had almost smashed his head through the wall as all he had felt was the rush of air from her arriving behind him graze at the pink hair atop his head. It was fortunate she came when she did as after his reactionary launch of a cero the building didn't much approve of his genial idea as the Vice Captain with the use of her abilities kept the rubble from injuring them. The girl seemed to be in a panicked state over some kind of creature more terrifying than the corpses, whatever it was her jumbled mess of words wouldn't be of any help and her panic would likely get her killed.

Thus to prevent her ending up killing herself Valentin quickly grabbed on to her with his superior speed, pushing the annoying thing to the Vice Captain to deal with as he saw no way for him to make progress when he very much looked the part of a monster. ''Your turn, my face doesn't exactly help calm a patient experiencing severe panic. Whatever she is talking about it seems real bad, it might be a stupid question but have people been going missing here lately or something?'' the Adjuchas asked of the Vice Captain, ''also, uh, sorry about the mess. I guess a cero wasn't the best of ideas indoors.'' 

With the brat now the Vice Captains problem Valentin would try to move to more stable ground, taking his time observing any remaining, well, remains. Those things definitely weren't human anymore although they wore their forms but neither were they hollow. For now he guessed it was the sick ability of some mentally deranged patient who might never have left the facility after it closed down but that sounded an awful lot like a horror movie so he didn't want to entertain the thought too much, he was an avid movie goer despite appearances but reality was often stranger than fiction, case in point himself.

”I think you made them hornier!” Jäger suddenly commented as Luke, with widened eyes, watched the scene unfold before him. His use of Willpower: Cog was supposed to cause the spirits to cower and slink away, but all it seemed to do was make them excited. If these things weren’t forced to flee then that meant they were stronger, and far more dangerous, than Luke had initially thought. Cog wasn’t a waste of reiatsu after all. It provided him with some valuable insight. But, besides that, Luke needed to come up with a plan and he needed it yesterday.

Exciting the ghouls only hastened their approach. Reaching out for him like zombies in a horror flick, Luke began to ready his reiatsu to fight back. But before he could call forth any of his Air Arsenal weaponry, something shook the foundation of the building. A bloom of reiatsu was picked up by his Energy Sensory. ”What was that??” Windstarke decided to question. Luke noticed the dim red lights that peaked their way into the lab, and realized rather quickly what it was. A Cero? Was a Hollow here? While normally only Hollows could use the destructive lasers, there was one other person capable of doing that. Luke wondered if there was a possibility that Impossible was here as well.

But the sudden disturbance caused the spectre's to become distracted. At least a portion of them. Six chose to go after the light while the other four pressed their assault against Luke. Frowning, he weighed his options. Without warning, Luke turned the flashlight off and simply...vanished. To the spirits perspectives at least, Luke was simply gone. Without any lights beside his flashlight, the lab was blanketed in darkness. So Luke used that darkness. Using the Bount Technique, Schatten, Luke had sunk into the darkness at his feet at 300 speed. He, essentially, became a shadow himself.

Now out of reach of the spectres completely, Luke used his new method of travel to travel underneath all of them and out of the lab and back into the hallway. Whatever caused that Cero was his target. It was entirely possible that a Hollow was behind this after all. But why did it suddenly fire off a Cero? If it was a Hollow where these ghouls some ability it had? Luke had too many questions and not enough answers. Like, for instance, what was that shriek he heard? Travelling through the shadows would provide him the safety needed to make his way through the halls, until Luke decided to let himself be spit back out at the fork in the hallways where he started at.

”Tch.” Luke clicked, looking back the way he came. ”Why don’t we just go home?” Jäger asked. Turning to look at where Luke had came from when he entered the asylum, he entertained the thought of leaving to let Uzaki’s know what was going on. But he didn’t leave. He didn’t leave because there was still the matter of the hostages. What’s more...if Luke figured all this out it would look good when he tried to go for a higher position in the company.

Luke realized he needed to cover more ground. Reaching into his pocket, the Bount pulled out a small matchbox. ”Ziege dich..” the words dropped from his tongue like weights, dripping heavy with power. ”Jäger.” Crushing the matchbox in hand, a gust of air kicked up around the Bount for a moment as he set the being free from within him. ”Wait what?” Jäger suddenly asked, outside Luke’s head, as the entity emerged from the shadows on the floor and leaned forward on his arms. ”Jäger, can you check out upstairs while I head down this way?” Luke asked, motioning with his head to “Observation and Medical”

Leaning over to look down the hall that Luke motioned towards, the Doll would have raised an eyebrow. ”You know penis enlargement drugs are fake, right?” the Doll had to quickly submerge into darkness before his head could be stomped on by Luke’s sudden foot. ”Just god damn do it! And be careful!” Luke snapped through barred teeths. ”Haha okay okay calm your tits I’m goin.” the Doll joked, his voice growing farther away as the entity travelled through the shadows to begin his recon on the upstairs floor. Because of how dark the asylum was, Jäger wouldn’t have any trouble moving around. The Dolls ability revolved around infecting shadows with his presence after all, and what was darkness but just one big shadow? What's more, with the Dolls always active ability Ungesehen he'd hopefully remain undetected. Unless...you know...he exposed himself somehow.

With a frown, Luke turned to face towards the hall leading to Observation and Medical. He began to move forward with a heightened pace, keeping himself alert and aware of anymore of those ghouls. With Jäger looking upstairs and Luke checking the other hall, he was sure they would find something substantial this time. But Luke needed to be careful. He was sure those ghouls from the Staff side of the building would be following him soon.

As the hollows cero tore through the room and hallways the building immediately began to protest against its use, metal and drywall groaned and fell both above and below them. The ground giving way a minor issue considering that the shinigami was already hovering in midair, but debris falling onto her head would probably end up being painful enough to give her a headache and likely kill the human girl unless she was either surprisingly tough or really lucky. "God damn it," the shinigami exclaimed somewhat exasperated as she turned herself around while sweeping her hand across the entire room and unleashing considerable burst of reaitsu to form stone around the room in order to stabilize the structure as well as catch any debris that was falling and have it remain suspended. Chances were that if she and the others had remained largely undetected to this point something was likely gonna know they were here now considering the reiatsu burst she had just given off. While she was unaware of it there was someone in building who would almost certainly recognize her reiatsu signature the moment they felt it.

No sooner had she stabilized the room then a horrible shriek rang out, either that was a coincidence or she just woke something up. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but now there was a human in the mix who would die if she got caught in combat, this all assuming that whatever that was going towards them. There was a chance it could be going after the sub shinigami, which, could realistically be the best she could hope for at the moment, though far from her ideal situation. Substitute shinigami were notorious for being pains in the asses in terms of interactions, but overall they could typically hold their own fairly well in a fight, so the girl should be able to defend herself until she could find somewhere to stash the girl.

A moment after the roar the girl continued to squirm and broke free of the hollows grip, but before she got far he grabbed her again, but this time passed her off to the shinigami, "Well it's not like you exactly have a friendly face," she retorted, somewhat unable to help herself from cracking a joke. The hollow definitely seemed different from the others she had encountered, she still didn't trust it, but she was having a hard time find a reason to keep up her hostilities. As she took the girl she would shoosh her to quiet her protests, "Shhhh, you're fine, you're safe, I won't let anything happen to you," her voice was warm and matronly has she tried to soothe the girls fears, "What were you hiding from? Is that what we heard a moment ago?" Yetsuna followed a short distance behind the hollow using her stone allowing her to just float and not josle the girl.

While Yetsuna was focused heavily on trying to get the girl to calm down. A panicky survivor was harder to rescue then a calm one and was also a lot less likely to yield any useful information. She doubted the girl would know much her missing men, but she could probably give some info about the building and what was going on, which would be highly valuable considering they had almost no idea what they were dealing with. She would continue to talk to and soothe the girl as much as would be required until she would manage to get information or would come interrupted by something prudent.

Storming through the chasm, those that lingered within the shadows of the metal bars scurried back as the watchdog darted upwards. New reiatsu was present. Echoing through the walls, the watchdog knew what it had to do. Sole purposed for this very thing, it's desire to grow and to release itself from the chains that bound it to this place. No longer did it posses the will it had before, merely desiring to grow all the more to rid itself of what would come back to haunt it so. More over, the one that came to shackle it still. Her screams were heard down below. Something was off. This the watchdog knew too well. But even so, it still did not wish to take the risk. In the state that she was in now would only cause certain death. The process of labor was underway, and there was still some things to do before it could be free. And finally, it came. More active reiatsu soared through the air above the platforms, above ground. This was what it wanted.

The one that shackled the Watchdog commanded to retrieve those that would come frolicking around the Asylum. Many people came searching, investigating. More food to make Watchdog stronger. More food to help break away from the binds that bounded it to this place. Yet, the orders that she gave to him meant that he couldn't kill them. The spirits that lingered above sought to devour the reiatsu of those that came as well. Looking to free themselves, they remained, stuck, trapped within the walls. They refused to show themselves when Watchdog came around the halls. They grew to fear him. Him and his tenacity to feed on them. They hid, clinging to their spots and refusing to show themselves. So they waited silently until those with strong reiatsu came along. But now, they are active, proving that the reiatsu over head was no fluke. So, it became Watchdog's turn to make an entrance.

With the platform being too thick to move through, Watchdog had no other alternatives but to move it by force. The hands gripped the tight old seal that kept it locked in place, and parted the seal away from each other. Only enough space for him to move through, small enough for humans to easily slip into. Watchdog had to break itself down, disconnecting it's body as it's mass struggled to pass through the hole. Not before long, the wilted flowers and open space greeted him once more as the familiar sights were easily dismissed to track down the new reiatsu signatures that were now present. Creeping through the double doors, the swarms of bodies waltzed back and forth. Their gaze with that of Watchdog. Those that remained within the abandoned building, who hid within it's interior, were now in the open. Not all of them, but a large quantity of those that he sought out.

Their bodies made of what little reiatsu was left in their forms, only to be swallowed into the vents over head, and down into the pipes that led down beneath the Garden area. No longer were they really needed, as their bodies possessed a poor amount of energy. Nope. More was needed. But at least for Watchdog, their bodies were all that he needed to grow. Before being able to turn, they were picked off one by one. Heads snapping, and feet being torn away from the floor. Their bodies were being devoured one by one as they were being snatched up. However, how Watchdog fed wasn't like the others of his kind. Nope. Something much more different from what was to be expected, such as something that both Nami and Jager would soon come to bare witness to.

Body after body. Those black silhouettes that the Shinigami Representative encountered before hand were being taken up by what had came through the torn hole at the base of the tree. What was seemingly small at first did not exist when taking a closer look at it. Those that came into it's grips were being mashed into it's appendages, it's torso, pelvis, and legs. What it seemed to be doing was adding them to itself. Like, pieces to a jigsaw puzzle, forcing the incorrect pieces to a slot to make something grotesque. Now this was something to beyond as those that were added to it's body not only made it seem all the more uglier, but all the more larger, and frightening. From the shadows, as Jager began to pass through the center wing, he too would come to see the insidious sight of numerous mandibles continuously grow. It's shape ever changing as more bodies were being added to it's own. From what was first seen as a being of 5'8", now configuring itself to match the height of 9'9", and still growing.

Torsos of other bodies meshed with that of it's own, lengthening the extent of its form. The more that it added to itself, the larger it became. But, it's size alone wasn't all that occurred. Snapping off a head of a silhouette, the fingers that rooted themselves along it's scalp clung to it as if it served as a life line. Then, and only then, did that head's eyes open wide. It shrieked. It shrieked once more as the body did moments before entering the main lobby, causing the walls the resonate with it's eery cry. Five other heads rose from it's back in the same fashion to follow suite with their buddy, singing an uncoordinated chorus of blood lust cries. A single head snapped towards the rear, it's eyes wide, locked onto the Shinigami behind it. It didn't blink. It just kept watching her as it's bulking figure clawed against the walls and second story staircase to move itself into place to face the blonde haired woman.

Six heads tilting themselves to face Nami, as a seventh, centered to state that itself was the main operator, rolled its eyes beneath the white smiling mask. Broad shoulders and exposed ribs expanded outwardly to cause it's spider like arms to keep itself afloat by leaning on the walls and stair case above the woman. What was suppose to be the belly, or rather abdomen, was very much like a Centipede. Five feet in length down to the bony white hips, or what was left of it anyways, merged with that of it's tail and hind legs. More silhouettes were being absorbed into it, creating the legs that stretched out from the back of the hips. No doubt about it. This creature was a Hollow. A Hollow that had evolved beyond that of a Menos. However, it hadn't reached the full extent of it's abilities, this much was for certain. Nevertheless, judging by it's appearance, it was not meant to be trifled with. At least, not alone. The six other heads jerked themselves back behind the Hollow's shoulders as six arms retracted themselves from spine of it's body, and jolted towards the Shinigami woman. It wanted more.

Luke's path wouldn't as cleared to be exact. Those that had left the room prior to his leaving would still be seen stumbling down the hallway. Yet, their attention remained to be elsewhere. Drawn to seek their own safety, they second guessed themselves in avoiding the front section of the Asylum. Yet, at the same time, their attention was drawn towards the Garden. Reiatsu was now seeping out as the Bount would come to pass by it heading towards "Medical and Observation." Three stumbling figures kept onwards to the Garden, the sense of continuous reiatsu rushing from there leading the trio to it. Whether or not the Bount chose to investigate the matter or not was up to him, or rather face the looming threat that just continued to grow without pausing. Though, going to the desire section would mean meeting up with this threat, as there was only one route to Observation and Medical, just as the Shinigami would be there as well, with the junction to the Garden and second floor areas.

The shriek was undoubtedly heard from where they stood. The girl's trembling came to an immediate halt as soon as she heard it. "I---It's here.... Her pet......." The walls and halls shook violently as the entry to the second floor rumbled immensely. Just for a few moments before the chorus of cries filled the halls once more. The sight of what caused it was blocked by the twist and turns of the 2nd floor, but it was close. Very close. Rubble from above continued to fall as loose articles came apart from the mere shock of the size of this creature. "I-i-it c-came for us. In the woods.... It took..us.... D-down...Deep down.... Under a tree.... Here....OH GOD...I can still hear her laughing....Their screams..... So many....... Make it stop...MAKE IT STOP. OH GOD!" The girl curled and rocked herself back and forth beneath the desk. Whether or not that Yetsuna and Valentin decided to investigate it or not wouldn't be a decision, but a course of action that both had to make at one point or another. That, or the new flow of reiatsu that began seeping into the 2nd floor, beside the glass bridge that they passed before reaching the patient rooms.
