Location: Each participant has been summoned to a cemetery measuring one thousand feet squared in the single main area available to the participants that has grayish green grass and dirt covering the ground. It's day time. Inside of the main area where the participants are allowed to fight there are hundreds of tomb stones and larges crypts lined in rows with a few feet between them. There is nothing else inside of the area.

Aevus is summoned inside of a large crypt.

Impossible has been summoned at the edge of the area on the east side.
Special Conditions: No gravitational Pressure, No exiting of the main room is allowed as a barrier has been set up along the walls of the graveyard that will push back anything that makes contact with it by a force of 300. Barrier can't be broken!
Circumstances: You've both been summoned fight to claim victory and progress onward in the tournament of Might!

[Impossible]

Impo feels his stomach turn as he is summoned to the edge of what appears to be a graveyard, via some weird blue light. "No, ugh, no wonder Luke hated that." He said, holding his gut while doubled over. The failure looks around for his opponent, with no sign of them. "I really hope these are replicas..." He said to himself. Getting over himself, Impo made his way through the graveyard, taking care not to walk over where the dead might have been buried. He knew his opponent would be in here somewhere, but he couldn't see them, so he got a better look around to pass the time.

Impo was dressed casually, wearing jeans, and a black short-sleeved shirt with white lines, reminiscent of beatle legs. His skin and hair were both glowing white, due to Impo not feeling strongly about anything at the moment. He walked around the gravestones, checking the different names and dates. There were no two that were the same, leading him to believe that this place was indeed genuine. "The host of this thing is f#cked up..." He said, with patches of skin glowing gray. He knew none of them were actually there, but turn a place of rest into a fighting arena...

"Have some respect for the dead...." He continued walking, hoping that the old man and his- did the old man have a team? Impo pondered for a moment at how much effort would be needed to set this thing up. "Yeah, probably has a team." Impo was starting to think he had an issue with talking out loud too much. He shrugged it off, doubting it'd hurt him any time soon. Regardless, grave after grave produced no duplicates, each unique in their own right, be it the on them writing, or the style of them. He started reading them, just to see some of the years people managed to live, a few hundred feet away from the East entrance.

Aevus blinked but all around him was darkness. His fingers rested on cold stone and his eyes searched around that strange place. He could barely see a thing. Besides the small needle like spears of light piercing through the cracks of a nearby door, he had nothing to go by. Wherever he was, it was dark and damp. A strange setting for an arena... But yet again this entire situation was strange. Of all things, Aevus wasn’t expecting to take part in a tournament. Especially one led by a man who can revive the very dead and apparently teleport his participants by will alone.

Everything about this tournament didn’t sit right with the reaper. It felt almost like dream of sorts. Yet if there was no repercussions for his actions, it might as well have been a dream. Heh, regardless he was gonna have some fun with this tournament. He would begin to tap the guard of his Zanpakuto. Lumina’s wolven ears flicked from that sound alone. Even in the darkness, Lumina could still sense her Shinigami’s grin perking “I wouldn’t get excited just yet... It’s a Failure.”

Aevus immediately frowned at that. “A Failure...?” Aevus repeated under his breath before sighing. He would lean back against the cold stone. Past that stretching light of that door, he could see a group of black silhouettes. Upon further inspection, he realized that they were bats. His brows furrowed. Of all the races in the four worlds... he was fighting a failure. Glowing, unstable and powerful walking bombs. Any sense of excitement left him with those words alone. He had never fought a Failure before and for good reason. They were far more dangerous dead than alive. If those old books had taught him anything, it was best to leave those walking bombs alone. That or kill them from a distance...

“There also seems to be some type of barrier... It’s surrounding us on all sides.” Lumina’s ear flicked as Aevus let out another sigh. There goes the distance approach... “It’s most likely the edge of the arena. It seems, this old man really doesn’t want his contestants walking out on him.” He’d grip his Zanpakuto rather tightly at that. “Hopefully his little trick can bring back the Failure before it explodes. That is... if I can even manage to hit it.” His cold blues would meet the shimmering silvers of his Spirit, as a faint growl erupted from her throat. “We.” Lumina corrected.

“Heh, I didn’t think you’d enjoy this type of dance Lumina.” The Shinigami blinked, that small grin perking once more.
“That’s not it... I'm just not fond of cages.” Her ears flattened against her skull and her eyes sheltered the door. Aevus would follow her gaze. “Then lets get this over with.” And with that Aevus would rise to his sandaled feet. But before his fingers could even graze the door, Lumina would leap out in front of him, silver eyes piercing those tired blues. “Don’t underestimate your opponent Aevus.”

“Whisper Softly Umbra...” And like that Lumina disappeared in a show of silvery light, as she was called forth to the Shinigami. A cold, dark and bleak aura pulsed thirty feet around Aevus. Stretching over and through that tomb, shrouding the land in Aevus’s very reiatsu. Unsheathing his Zanpakuto, it would lengthen ever so. A silver wolf head replaced the guard as it howled up his very blade. And a long black ribbon fell from it’s pommel, fluttering freely behind the Shinigami.

Aevus was no longer hiding his presence but he wasn’t trying to anymore. He would release Lumina within the opening of that tombs doors. Marking her as she brushed against him. And yet she took not the form of a wolf. Instead she sheltered the air with feathered wings, as a snow owl. Disappearing into the daylight. The group of bats that were resting within that crypt flew out alongside his Zanpakuto Spirit. But a speck of white in a sea of black wings. She took to the skies alongside that flock, overlooking the battlefield with silver beady eyes. It didn’t take long for her to spot Impossible from her position.

Found him.

And like that Aevus headed in the direction of his opponent.

{Shikai Overall}Umbra - As stated with his overall Aevus’s ability is the manipulation of the threads of fate, conceptual threads brought into being by his very Reiatsu. Upon activating Shikai, Aevus will claim a thirty foot territory around himself. This territory is represented by a bleak, cold and dark aura, which surrounds Aevus at all times. A requirement to use most of his Shikai abilities is to mark his target costing 25 Reiatsu per mark. This mark is a tether, a bond if you will, an ability that connects Aevus and his target seemingly by fate itself. A Mark of Fate is created either by wounding his target with his Zanpakuto or by coming into contact with them. Or passively for 100 Reiatsu (once per post) if they are within his territory. Regardless of how, he can mark them. A faint slip of Reiatsu will fall forth from his blade or place of touch, residing within the target, connecting them to Aevus. If a target is marked within his territory, the mark will always appear wherever Aevus wills it. This mark doesn’t disappear until it is destroyed or when his release ends and there isn’t a set number that can be placed.

The bond that this mark creates, connects Aevus to his target in more ways than a mere conceptional thread. Allowing Aevus to speak to his target through a form of telepathy and his target him if he allows it. Even his Zanpakuto spirit and Inner Hollow can interact with his target this way if they so wish. His voice will be distorted and echo faintly. Carrying with it a seemingly different side of the shinigami. Uniquely this gives Aevus a point in intimidation which improves to 2 with two marks and 3 with three marks and immediately adds a point to anyone within his aura. Thus making him slightly more threatening to those marked regardless if friend or foe. Giving his voice and presence a coldness, thus making him out to be rather menacing to those marked or within his vicinity. For Aevus is not merely a manipulator of fate, he has become the personification of fate itself and fate in and of itself is cruel.

The traces of the users Reiatsu from the mark is usually invisible even to the naked eye, masking itself as the targets own while an ability is inactive yet when Aevus taps into this mark, it becomes both visible and able to be traced. Appearing to glow in a bioluminescent form that depends on how it was placed, such as a hand print, a cut from a wound. Even a simple smudge if Aevus merely brushed his target. If marked simply within the territory, it’ll appear as a small circle with two vertical lines, resembling the marking on his Zanpakuto Spirit's forehead. Once visible, the target will be able to see the traces of Reiatsu connecting them to Aevus and can freely displace the foreign Reiatsu. Easily severing themselves from Aevus by centering their own Reiatsu into the marked area. Costing nothing in the process, yet if the marked area is delivered by his Zanpakuto, it is different and it is required that the opponent heal the wound in order to remove the foreign Reiatsu. Those with 50% higher than his offensive stat can't be marked passively within his territory. It should be noted if his release is inactive the mark will fade. Yet on targets who agree to being mark, it'll remain after release. While inactive on those who agreed to being marked, the traces of the Reiatsu will become invisible to the naked eye. Yet they can still sense the mark and destroy it at anytime they wish.

Those who sever themselves from Aevus, those who fight against fate will inevitably fall to it. For the struggle against the threads that guide, is what leads to ruin. Upon disrupting the Mark of Fate, his target will not only be severing themselves from Aevus but fate itself for he has become the personification. Forcing their very fate to be rewritten. This causes them to black out, a lapse both in mind and body for what appears to be nothing to the target but in actuality it will be half a second. This is not static, each time the target cuts ties with Aevus, this lapse will increase doubling for each additional mark removed afterwards. Aevus himself can not cause this and it can not be resisted due to his target deciding this action themselves. This doesn't apply to those who simply sever themselves by healing. One doubling effect is lost for every other post the target keeps themselves bonded to Aevus.

Tracking (Passive) - Regardless of place, time, or even circumstances, Aevus has the passive ability to freely track those that he marks even from long distances of up to two miles. This can easily help Aevus in finding a target. Such as those invisible or those masking their Reiatsu. Because it doesn’t pinpoint them, it is actually pinpointing his own Reiatsu within the mark. Making it excellent for tracking but requiring a 25 Reiatsu cost per post to keep active. It is very useful if his senses aren’t up to par or perhaps even impaired by an opponent and or his environment. So those that are marked rarely surprise him. For they are sensed almost immediately upon coming into vicinity of him.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique is one that a certain Shihoin is famous for using. By focusing the Reiatsu in a clockwise manner and staying still the user of this technique is able to shift their physical body into that of a small animal. That’s right this technique is the one that Yoruichi used to turn into a cat. Not everyone becomes a cat however in fact each individual turns into a different animal. The only constant about this technique is that the creature must be small and hard to notice. This technique is meant as a way to secretly gather information from those who don’t suspect animals of intelligence. It’s possible for the user to speak while in this state however the voice that is presented is opposite of the true gender masking the users identify even further. When mastered this technique can be activated repetitively however doing so draws heavily on stamina. Also when Mastered the time it takes to transform becomes instant.

How to use technique: Focus reiatsu throughout the body in a clockwise manner while remaining completely still.

Technique Drawbacks: Requires 50 Reiatsu. When this technique is used the Strength of the user is decreased by 90%. Characters are only able to transform into a specific animal that’s selected upon learning this technique. It should also be noted that while transformed the user is in truth "Nude" this means that when the technique is reversed and the user takes on their original form they are "Nude". When this technique is in effect the user can't use reiatsu for anything other then step techniques. The major drawback of this technique is that the user is unable to use weaponry when in the animal state.

{ Spiritual Projection}

Technique Name: Spiritual Projection

Class: 2

Technique Type: Special Kidou

Technique Description and Effects:
Spiritual Projection is a technique that creates an object that is spiritually connected to the user's zanpakutou. As a result, the durability of this object is nearly the same as the sealed state of the user's zanpakutou and carries the same unique properties as the sealed state. For example, if the sealed state has the unique property of glowing in the dark, then this object will glow in the dark too. Unfortunately, this object does not have a "release" but one can create all sorts of weapons to attack, be it a sword, axe, firearm or even explosive. When this technique is mastered, the user can use this ability to temporarily summon one's zanpakutou spirit. This way, people can interact with the zanpakutou spirit in the real world, which can be kind of cool. The zanpakutou spirit possesses the same exact stats as the user and disappears when the user wills its end or gets killed in the real world.

Drawback:
The more advanced the weapon, the longer it takes and the more difficult it is to create. The user would have to imagine the structure of the object and trace it into reality. It is much easier to trace copies of an object that the user has already seen than to create something from scratch so keep that in mind. For example, if the user has never seen a gun before, it will be nearly impossible to for the user to create one with this technique. Each weapon has a different type of reiatsu cost to create. A knife costs 25 reiatsu. A sword, axe or spear costs 50 reiatsu. A firearm costs 100 reiatsu. A grenade costs 150 reiatsu. A rocket launcher costs 200 reiatsu. A car or vehicle costs 250 reiatsu. A plane or helicopter costs 300 reiatsu. A zanpakutou spirit costs 400 reiatsu. An inner hollow costs 600 reiatsu.

There are drawbacks to projecting a Zanpakutou Spirit or an Inner Hollow. First off, the Inner Hollow only has the same stats as the user, is only accessible to Vizards and will not hesitate to attack the user. It is not the smartest idea. Second of all, Zanpakutou Spirits have their own will, personality and ideals that they follow. In other words, a passive and peaceful Zanpakutou Spirit will not be likely to help the user fight an opponent if he or she disapproves. Some Zanpakutou Spirits are purely social characters, which are only useful in everyday life situations. Lastly, if a summoned Zanpakutou Spirit uses reiatsu, that amount is automatically deducted off of the user's total reiatsu.

When the projected Zanpakutou Spirit is killed in the real world, it will severely impair the the user's Zanpakutou ability. As a result, the user's shikai and bankai duration will be cut in half (i.e. 10 posts will be 5). Also, the user will not be able to re-project the Zanpakutou Spirit is completely restored. Restoration cool down time takes about an hour in game time.

[Impossible]

Impo wasn't sure what he expected when he entered this tournament, but he sure as sh*t wasn't expecting to wait ten minutes before his opponent decided to show up. It got to the point where he thought the person might be invisible or something stupid like that. He found a bench near a set of graves, and promptly sat on it. Hopefully this wouldn't take too much longer. "Where is this guyyyyy, what the fu-" His whining was cut off when he felt the arrival of a spiritual presence on the other side of the graveyard.

Impo's eye twitched, as his skin took on several patches of red. He was only just arriving!? Then why did this Jack Hole game master send him ahead so early!? The guy was a Shinigami, another wonderful surprise, he thought sarcastically, but his reiatsu felt familiar somehow, like he met the guy before. In fact, this whole place was giving him a strange sense of dejavu, but he couldn't quite place his finger on it. Maybe it would come back to him once he met the guy, not that he was getting up to greet him, screw that.

So as he sat there, he decided to activate an ability he hasn't used in a while. It was known simply as 'A Faililure's gift', water variant. It would take a minute to start up, so might as well start, now that his long awaited for has finally arrived. He wouldn't hold it against him though, teleporting was a tricky thing. A crypt in the distance opened up, releasing dozens of what he could only guess to be bats, and something white in the middle of them. He couldn't see it that well, but mostly because of all the moving parts of the swarm.

Whatever it was, he could tell that it was at least an ability of his opponent. There was a strong connection between the thing in the sky, and the man walking out of the tomb. Speaking of that guy, he released. Wonderful, not even a minute in and both of them had used something drastic. Oh well, to quote a famous man, 'there ain't no kill like overkill'. Squinting his eyes towards the guy, he realized why he felt so familar. It was that guy he tricked into fighting those zombies for him, Advice or something.

"Hey! Over here! What the f#ck took you so d@mn long!? I've been here, bored as sh*t for the last ten minutes!" He yelled out, giving him some flack for only just arriving. He kind of knew the guy, so maybe he could talk a bit before they had to fight, but given how things were going so far, he doubted it. Still, it was nice to see a familiar face, even if they only met once or- "Oh I just remembered where we are..." He said to himself, remembering how that giant demon thing exploded out of the same place Avarice was walking out of. It was almost creepy how the host of this thing knew about that.

Technique Description and Effects: [The basis of this technique is reiatsu. What one can do with the byproduct of one's life essence. Everyone is different, yet one fact remains true for each individual: the element in which your reiatsu manifests as. Every spirit manifests itself as wind while outside of the body. This is what allows one to influence the air to increase the gravity around them. It's also the reason that a normal person is unable to detect a spirit with a majority of their senses. This ability can change that, at a cost. The use of this can change the element of your own spiritual pressure into one of four other things, while master's of this technique can change others.

Earth makes a flood completely solid, and unable to be broken with anything less than the rs of the caster, and counts as regular class. This also acts as the damage stat for anything the flood collides with. The speed is heavily clanged though. In place of moving around with the failure's speed stat, the earth changed flood's speed is is set at a static speed of 400. This variant of flood is highly unstable, however, and his hard to control for longer periods of time. The only time it is at full power is the first post you use it. For each following post, the flood quickly begins to break apart. The flood becomes smaller and weaker, losing 10% of its max mass and rs each post, until the flood rs touches down to 0. This ability cannot be deactivated before the rs of the flood hits zero, and will return to a normal flood the following post, on post 11. Air or fire based techniques that come into contact with this flood act with 30% less their damage stat.

For water, the flood does not change much. The most apparent change for the flood from a pretty light show to liquid matter, regardless of flood ability. It does not change the flood ability, but it changes any solid construct flood would create with it's ability into water, but not its powers. With this, it is still possible to move through, unlike earth. For the things moving through the, however, will be reduced to one fourth of what it normally is. The flood is also able to be used as a weapon, even without the ability of the flood. The impact with carry a fourth of the user's rs, and act as blunt force. This can also carry weights that str can, if the weight can be carried by str(1/4 the rs). This counts as a long term stat changer.

With your flood becoming pure fire, a failure must be wary. Despite being made of your own soul, touching the flood can set you off and kill the failure casting it. Your fire will begin to ignite the air around it, even leaving trails of fire in the air behind it after it moves for a post. This will also ignite everything that it touches will catch fire. It will burn away anything with less rs than the user, and counts as the class of the technique. The fire, when it touches something, will not instantly erase it. Instead, whatever it touches will catch fire. This flame will eat away at the reiatsu of whatever is subject to it. It will burn away 300 reiatsu per post, and will fuel itself on that burnt away energy. It will attempt to spread over the victim's body, as it eats away at the very building blocks that the body is made up of.

There is a way to get the flames off of oneself. One can 'over feed' the flame. By paying 400 reiatsu per post that the flames have been on you, the fire will instantly dispel, or you could use a water based ability to knock them off. Diving in a body of water works too. The less reiatsu something has, the quicker this fire will destroy it. If an attack that tries to pass through the ability will lose a major part of its power, being attacked on all sides by the flame, and will reduce the power of the ability by a significant portion.

The ability will never be completely destroyed however, unless the 'power' behind the ability is a quarter of the ability, or would not match up in standard clashes. Instead, the ability will be able to pass through the flames, but if the have 25% or less of the fire's rs, power is reduced by 50%. If they have 50% or less its rs, the power is reduced by 25%. If they have more than 50% of its rs, but is still inferior, it is reduced by 10%. If a permanent ability that lasts more than a single post, its power will be permanently reduced depending on how many times it collides with the flame. In all cases the rs shaved away from the ability cast is used to make the fire bigger. For every 200 rs the flames consume this way, the flood grows by the size of a standard car, and loses it after the duration of this ability would normally wear off, regardless of paying the cost again. This tech is 30% stronger over wind techs. Any water based abilities used again this will be considered 50% stronger.

Lighting is the most dramatic flood change. The entity of your flood becomes a bunch of spheres, constantly radiating with electricity. The size of the spheres is always a constant, with every ball sharing the same size as a baseball. The number you get depends on your rs, giving you one per 100 rs you have. This flood moves at a speed equivalent 200 per class, but can only move in a linear pattern. The focus for trying to make these orbs turn any direction while moving is insane. 600 instinct would be required to alter the course after it begins to move. After it stops moving, they take a post to cool down to re-aim them. This, however, can be ignored with instincts over 800. Normally, one can't control the lightning balls mid flight, but once you reach 800 or more instinct, you can even stop them to instantly change it for a new direction.

How to use technique: [The original caster can pass change the properties of one's reiatsu of a willing non failure participant once per thread, in a non-combat situation. The process leaves the two completely immobile, and unable to fight anything off if they were attacked. The failure casting however, can do the same for himself in the same amount of time. The failure, however, is not restricted in their mobility, but loses the use of their flood for two posts, as in the post you cast it, and to the end of your following post.

In combat, you can activate your element of choice by paying 400 reshi. It lasts five posts before it deactivates, and you can reuse it. This does not include earth. While active you gain both the positives and the negatives, and are unable to turn it off until the post have worn off. This ability takes up one tech slot as its name, followed by the element chosen.]



Technique Drawbacks: {[Stated above, plus you lose the ability to use gravitational pressure until your reshi is returned to its natural state, and will render all spirits visible as the element chosen. Can only have one chosen element at a time, and are unable to have it altered aside from another failure with this same technique.]

A familiar face in a familiar place. Out of all the possible Failures, it had to be him... He had met him twice before. Both times were under uncomfortably odd circumstances. And yet he made for an interesting albeit annoying ally. Especially with that nasty teleporting flood of his. The Failure’s use of Kido wasn’t anything to laugh at either. This was shaping up to be a rather grueling dance. Was this some sort of joke? It had to be right? Aevus couldn’t help but sigh.

"Oh I just remembered where we are..."

Disinterest was clearly painted for the world to see as he looked away from the Failure. His tired eyes drifted away from that glowing visage to his surroundings. The two were cornered on all sides. Gravestones showed their aged stone faces. A graveyard... The Failure was right. He had fought in a place just like this before. Everything about this was strange. Did the old man know about that night? How could he possibly? It had to be some sort of coincidence. Nevertheless, It wasn’t the most optimal setting for an arena, but it’d have to do.

As Aevus peered away from the Failure, his eyes would scan the horizon. The flock of bats had seemed to scatter throughout the graveyard. They had clearly been disoriented by the barrier surrounding them. And well he couldn’t really blame them. It was natural for an animal to be stressed when caged. Lumina on the other hand kept to the skies, overlooking the two with keen sight. Her silvers narrowed upon the Failure. He’s not doing anything, could he be buying time?

I don’t know... Aevus would answer his Spirit before letting out another sigh. “Yeah... It is familiar.” His glowing blues would return to Impossible. “To think that old man would pair us together.... Though it does have me a bit curious.” A small perk of his lips, hinted at a rising grin. Aevus’s voice would darken and he’d begin to tap the handle of his Zanpakuto once more. “Iv’e always wanted to see a Failure explode.”

A transparent thread of pale Reiatsu began to form beside the Shinigami. Flaring faintly before being woven into a replica of his Zanpakuto. His eyes now narrowed upon the Failure and so would that floating blade. “You’ve survived this long Creature... Even with that unstable body of yours. But I wonder-” And without warning Aevus attacked. The phantom echo of his Zanpakuto was fired. Slicing through the air at six hundred speed towards the glowing man.

{ Resonare}Resonare (Resonance) Fate is but an Echo, a reflection of the events brought to fruition by the actions of the individual. Cause and effect shelter this fate and make it a reality. An attack he never wrought can be shifted and manipulated inside the territory surrounding his person. An echo of fate born from events that could have been.

Aevus can create these said echoes anywhere within his territory. Weaving into existence phantoms of his Zanpakuto while within Shikai and Bankai. Up to six of these phantoms can be manipulated alone in Shikai but while in Bankai he can manipulate up to twelve. In Shikai these blades are always visible but in Bankai they are nearly invisible to the naked eye, yet they can still be tracked if focused upon. Only becoming fully visible once something comes into contact with them or obstructs their movement, be it spiritual or physical respectfully. Being phantoms of his Zanpakuto, each blade possesses a Mark of Fate respectfully and can be manipulated as he see's fit. The phantoms can move around his territory at a static speed of 600 and can be fired at 10x their speed, by spending 50 Reiatsu per Zanpakuto. Yet once fired they can no longer be manipulated. It takes 25 Reiatsu each post per phantom of his Zanpakuto to keep them active.

In Bankai Aevus can now create short lived phantoms of both himself and his Zanpakuto spirit. Yet phantoms of his Zanpakuto spirit are controlled by his spirit itself. Resonating from his being these phantoms are ethereal in nature, their forms possessing a spiritual aspect. Appearing ghostly pale they can be weaved into existence anywhere within the far reaching territory created from his Bankai. Yet their existence is short lived fading after a single post and there can only be up to six present in a single post. Like the phantoms of his Zanpakuto they also possess the Mark of Fate. Either mirroring the markings on his body in Bankai or his Zanpakuto Spirit. Allowing Aevus many diverse strategies while in combat. And although their existence is brief they share his speed and offensive stat.

Cost: 100 for phantoms of the Zanpakuto and 200 for full fledged phantoms of the user and Zanpakuto Spirit. 50 to fire phantoms of his Zanpakuto. 25 a post per phantom of his Zanpakuto to keep active.

Disadvantage/Weakness: Resonare is not without its weaknesses. Firstly Phantoms are costly and their offensive power is limited to his highest spiritual stat. While Phantoms of his person and Zanpakuto Spirit can move at his speed. phantoms of his Zanpakuto move at a static speed of 600 unless fired. Also phantoms of him and his spirit are not effective at misdirection. This is because of their overall ghostly appearance. Thus are easily discernable and confusion rarely occurs while facing them. While appearing Aevus's Reiatsu will flare and the place the phantoms are created will flare as well allowing an opponent time to react if they have the instinct. This Reiatsu flare reveals Aevus regardless if he is attempting to hide his Reiatsu signature or not and can easily work against him in certain situations.

Impo watched the ghost of a man he'd gotten little chance to know. They weren't really even allies, save for the two times they met. They've both used one another in the past, with Impo's being the more recent. Impo couldn't even really remember his name. Still, for whatever reason, this guy was pissing him off. The man talked with him for a brief moment, sharing his sentiment about their shared location. It was creepy that the man knew about a page of their past, but if the man could resurrect the dead, then knowing about a forgotten fight wasn't too farfetched.

And then Impo started to realize why his enemy was pissing him off. It clicked in place when he told the Failure, 'Iv’e always wanted to see a Failure explode.' Impo could actually feel his skin start to turn red at that statement. The man, who was totally not a failure you stupid whore, smiled a wicked grin, reminiscent of a certain Fullbringer he once knew. "Oh you cheeky b*tch." He said, standing up, hands no longer in his pockets. He was going to rain fire down on this poor fool. "And here I thought you were smart enough..."

He saw the spirit blade forming beside its creator, it was hard to miss to be honest. If he wanted to end the fight quickly, this was a poor method to do so. And to dig himself deeper into that grave Impo was planning on throwing him into, he addressed him as a creature with unstable body. The walking deadman launched his blade, but it wasn't fast enough to catch the failure off guard, not coming straight at him anyway. While it was true that Impo didn't boast impressive speeds, the not-failure certainly made up for it in his abilities.

One move he picked up recently was Ulcera. While he didn't particularly enjoy mimicking Hollow abilities, this one was far too useful to pass up. His body slipped into a world between worlds, narrowly avoiding the blade of energy. A split second later would have ended it for them both. Impo reappeared six or so feet behind his opponent, arm outstretched, palm aimed at his opponent, evil smile still on his face. "...to remembr my name!" He said, finishing his previous statement, while at the same time releasing a wordless Hado #1 sho.

Both the land and the shinigami would be thrown back from the shear force behind his masterful use of the low-level Kido. "My name is Impossible, you jack a$$! Don't go crying it once you lose!" He said, following up his attack with a powerful cero. The energy beam was enormous, larger than most hollows could ever hope to pull off. It would leave behind a trail of destruction in its wake. It was easily the size of a small building, heading straight for the fractured reaper.

But that wasn't the end of it. The beam of blue energy would let out a shockwave, equally as powerful as the ability itself, once the cero had passed or hit its target. The shockwave would sound like a choir of roaring dragons, warning Aevus of what was to come. After traveling a few dozen more feet, the beam would split off into three different directions, before they took on a different form. They quickly transformed into dragons, each thirty feet in length, big enough to swallow the ghost whole. If Aevus knew anything about dragons, he might recognize them to be Eastern Dragons.

The three roared at once, making the air ripple. "Dragons, kill him!" Impo ordered, while they faithfully obeyed, breathing three torrents of flaming cero at the shinigami. The glowing man wasn't done though. "Hey! Bats! That bird is the reason you're all awake! Kill its stupid a$$!" He had quite the way with animals thanks to his insane instincts, and a decently loud voice, as well as the ability he dubbed 'Spiritual Language', letting his speak to any being in their native tongue. All of these factors let his to effortlessly manipulate the animals into attacking the snow owl, fighting half of his fight for him.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a basic stale for a Hollow's ability to slide in and out of the valley of screams at will when it is hunting or stalking prey. By gliding in and out of the space used by techniques like garganta or descorrer, a hollow can get around quickly. This technique operates similarly to a stepping technique, but only moves at 5x the user's speed. However, the user weaves through rips in the fabric of whatever world they are in, and as such the hollows exits, and then re-enters at the destination, Hollows do not lose awareness of the world as they move through an Ulcera, and can return to the material world mid-step in response to a threat or opportunity. This technique does not take up a Technique slot.

Technique Description and Effects: [This ability is not a stand alone technique. This ability takes any other ability and changes it. At class three, this ability takes any technique and turns it into one of two dragons. The first dragon option is the serpentine dragon of the East. The Asian dragon, extremely prominent in mythology and even certain parts of history. This dragon is twenty feet long, and comes with or without wings. The next dragon is the feared dragon of the West, most known for terrorizing the masses, and being slain by the knight. This dragon is twenty feet tall, and has one head.

Each dragon is comprised of whatever technique was used in conjunction with. The dragons are able to think and act independently, slaying anything in their path save for their master. The dragons will follow simple orders that their masters give out, but they will do said orders in their own manner. Each dragon is able to breath flames, carrying the same effects and combat stat as the ability that the dragon is formed from. If the dragon is slain, by any attack equal to or over 3/4 the rs of the original technique, will explode equal to its rs into the sky destroying everything above it in a violent pillar of reiatsu. The dragon's strength is 800, with 600 being the speed for the Western dragon, with the opposite being true for the Eastern dragon.

At proficient, the caster can create two Eastern dragons, each twenty five feet long, or a Western dragon standing thirty feet tall with two heads.

At mastered, the caster is able to create three Eastern dragons, each thirty feet long, or a Western dragon standing forty feet tall with three heads.

Each dragon is the same class as the ability used to make it, and are subject to regular clash rulings.]

Aevus instantly saw that flicker of red begin to burn against the Failure skin. It shimmered like a surging fire and Aevus couldn’t help but grin in turn. This Failure couldn’t lie even if he tried. His emotions burned for all to see. Heh and well it didn’t seem like he wanted to hide the fact that he was in fact pissed off. His voice fell into the Shinigami like weak venom. It just couldn’t reach him. But that look. That look in the Failure’s eyes. It spoke volumes. In fact he enjoyed that look in the Failure’s eyes, deeply so.

It was as if he was gazing into the eyes of a ravenous beast. A dark whisper sheltered in the back of the Reaper and he felt a pang of excitement begin to feather his features. A roguish grin perked. It drove him to grin in turn. He may have been forced into this fight but oh was he gonna enjoy it. As the Phantom echo of his Zanpakuto ripped through the air and yet it would not meet flesh. No instead he’d witness the Creature disappear before his glowing visage. Ulcera... Aevus whispered to himself.

Of course the Failure possessed that troublesome Hollow technique. But where was he going to appear- "...to remember my name!" Aevus’s eyes widened as he felt the raw force of Reiatsu slam into him. He winced, and his darkly robes rippled through the air as he attempted to correct himself midflight. Utilizing Air ground, his eyes would meet the bright light of a cero. The amass of energy came barreling towards him like a charging beam of light. It was massive... Much to large to use a Shunpo to dodge. At least not in his current state.

Aevus tsked as that cero seemingly flooded into him. And yet Aevus had teleported at the last moment before impact. Appearing within the skies beside his Zanpakuto Spirit who he had previously marked. The phantom of his Zanpakuto faded as he caught his breath. This Failure. He’s terrifying. Aevus couldn’t even gather himself and Lumina was left awe struck. A roar shook the ground and echoed in the ear of the Shinigami and Zanpakuto Spirit. That cero had now somehow turned into something far more alive... Into something that resembled those fabled serpents of the sky.

As Impossible called for both those Dragons and the Bats to attack, he couldn’t help but grin. This was a lot more than what he had bargained for. I can’t say I was expecting this.... Lumina sighed. I told you not to underestimate him. It seems that it’s gotten stronger. Lumina... shed that form. Lets give him a real fight. Unlike you I wont play with him. And with that Lumina’s feathered form would change to that of her true form. A naked lithely figured woman would stand atop the airground. Long silver hairs fluttered and moonlit eyes glimmered as the Spirit wordlessly took her Zanpakuto in hand.

Brace yourself Aevus.

The Failure would clearly sense it. He’d sense that building Reiatsu within the Wolven Spirit. She was gathering all of her Spiritual strength into her core before releasing it outwards. An invisible wave would push back everything around her with a force of six hundred, traveling at six hundred speed in an eight hundred meter radius. Even Aevus fell victim to the attack. Forcing the Reaper backwards and towards the edge of the arena. The force of the technique would rip those dragons from the sky and tear them apart. For not only was it a class 1 technique, it also forced cutback.

The wave would also reach Impossible. And with his unstable body he’d surely be torn apart as well. As Aevus caught himself at the edge of that barrier, his eyes would narrow on Impossible. Cut off any retreat Aevus.. Aevus grinned. He really wasn't expecting Lumina to take the intiative so quickly. Four Phantoms of Aevus's Zanpakuto would appear. Floating beside his spirit, as that invisible wave spread out throughout the arena. Now. And with a single bat of her tail they fired towards the Failure at six hundred speed each. One pointed directly towards the Failure. Another was aimed above. And the last two fired to the left and right of the glowing man. If Impossible reacted the way she expected, then he was in for an unpleasant surprise.

{Libatis umbraculum}Libatis umbraculum (Destiny is a shadow) If one were to believe in fate, than they would also know that fate in itself is inescapable. A bond of which time nor space can break, a chain that binds and constricts us upon our journey in life and even death. What is to be, will come into fruition, an unyielding and unforgiving force. No matter where one finds themselves, they cannot escape it and thus they cannot escape Aevus. For fate is like a shadow, always by ones side, and one cannot escape their shadow.

In order to use Libatis umbraculum Aevus must first mark a target of choice. Once they are marked, it grants Aevus the ability to appear at his targets side regardless of the space between them. This, as one would think aids in Aevus’s up close and fast paced fighting style. Allowing him to become completely and utterly unrelenting to his opponent, disallowing them from gaining any ground or even catching their breath. Aevus’s Zanapakutou naturally possesses this mark of fate. The Reiatsu cost is determined by the distance Aevus himself is traveling and can be rather taxing in certain circumstances. Aevus can teleport his weapon to his hand allowing him to call forth any of his weapons that are marked. While using Resonare Aevus's weapons naturally teleport with him, yet he can also teleport these weapons individually. Aevus can even teleport those that have consented to a teleport with a mark. Aevus can teleport those that he is touching at the time, though it cost double and they too have to be marked. The teleportation speed is instant.

Cost: 150 every time it is activated on Aevus. 300 on those he is touching with the mark. 500 If used to travel between worlds. 50 if used on his weaponry to his hand, 100 if teleporting his weaponry to another mark without him. 500 if teleporting someone that has been marked prior with consent (Can summon character to thread.)

Disadvantage/Weakness: The first weakness is rather apparent and exploitable in the sense that Aevus must first in fact mark his target, with a trace of his Reiatsu in some way. One could just destroy the mark with their own Reiatsu or heal if they were marked from a cut and completely nullify the technique altogether. Another weakness, is Aevus can only appear in the direction of those marked. Meaning that if Aevus were to cut an opponents chest, he could only appear in front of them. His other weapons if traveling with him always appear clockwise of his target and with this. His ability though fast can become very predictable. So predictable in a way, that his opponent could

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):

Traditional cutback is triggered by a physical strike from a spiritually inferior source. Among those with immense spiritual pressure it is a useful defense. This technique converts that same cutback into an offense. The user gathers all of their spiritual energy at their core before releasing it outward with a burst. An invisible wave bursts outward with a speed and force of 600, pushing back everything in its path. It functions like a larger Martial Discipline: Ken to all those around. The user may choose to spend an additional reiatsu to increase the range of the wave. At its lowest range, the wave will travel 200 meters in every direction. If the user doubles the cost, this range will also double to 400 meters in every direction. But get this. If the cost is TRIPLED, the radius will also triple to a whopping 800 meters.

However, the real effect of the technique only kicks in when the wave makes contact with any individual. If the difference in spiritual pressure between the user and target is great enough, this technique will automatically inflict the same damage they would face had they triggered cutback. This property is what makes Cutback: Assault truly deadly.

This technique costs 300 reiatsu to use, and it must be mastered before employed in battle. It may only be activated once every 3 posts, and while it’s on cooldown, the user loses access to natural cutback. However, that is hardly the most serious drawback. As this technique causes the sudden output of such a large amount of energy, it puts a heavy strain on the body, worsening all injuries the user suffered prior to activation. When used the first time, if the user has any deep lacerations or stab injuries, they will begin to bleed profusely, giving them 5 posts before they lose consciousness. When used the second time, even if the user only had thin cuts, these will widen and deepen as blood rapidly escapes them, giving the user 5 posts before they pass out from blood loss. After employed a third time, even if the user is completely unharmed, their nose and eyes will begin bleeding. In fact, their internal organs would be struggling to function as the strain of a third Cutback: Assault also caused them hemorrhage. The internal bleeding would cause the user to pass out in 5 posts after activating the technique.

Impo had been pretty hopeful with his attack. He doubted many people could pull off such a large-scale attack that quickly. Arrogance, maybe admittedly, but he deserved to toot his own horn every now and again. Especially against some jack a$$ who refuses to call him by his own name. Two could play that game though. If he didn't want to remember his name, then Impo could just beat it into his head until he couldn't forget it. Just like he'd never forget being killed by several dragons breathing massive flaming cero blasts at him. That'd show him! He couldn't wait to rub it in his face after- What's that energy?

And before the failure's very eyes, the reaper fused with his bird thing, but also released a pulse of energy strong enough to not only kill his baby dragons, but also murder every bat in the skies with him. "Peta's gonna be all over his a$$ for that one." Then he realized what was going on. Eyes widening, he thought fast. He had a couple ways of dealing with that, but he still needed to move. And then he felt his flood reawaken, like a limb that fell asleep wake up again. A feral grin spread across his face, even as the wave of death approached ever closer.

He didn't want to risk that thing existing in the area it passed like a normal explosion acted, so he had to move back. He called his flood to rush towards him as fast as it could, while he used Shunpo to retreat to it. The flood moved at an insane speed of 1000, while Impo moved back at an equal speed. He didn't collide with his flood, because it was no longer in gaseous form. Aevus was going to have to try a little harder to deal with him now, because his flood was now completely made of water, and it was expanding out to meet his attack head on.

It didn't have anywhere near the force to match it, but it did something special to anything that came into contact with it. It slowed it down. Reducing the speed of the impressive down to a mere 150, he guessed that it would also reduce the distance that it could travel as well. Still, Impo was paranoid about his defenses. The water surrounded him on all sides by less than an inch of air separating him from his flood. Well, and a five foot bubble. Activating something he had been working on, he created his infamously, beautifully ultimate time tuba!

He could only smirk as the silver instrument tooted into existence before him. It couldn't be aloud to touch him though. Impo crouched down, as the tuba shifted into a curved silver wall to buffer himself from the slowed wave. A mere moment later, the Reaper's technique impacted the paradoxical bombardon, protecting Impo entirely, as well as stopping the sword he hadn't noticed before, while ignoring the ones not directly aimed for him. And people said he was crazy for screwing with time travel. HA! Joke's on them now isn't it? Impo stood back up, as he willed his flood to continue expanding. His flood wasn't weak enough to be destroyed that easily, and it continued to grow, not only towards Aevus, but all around. Moving at a speed of 1000, it would reach the edges of the arena soon. What would Aevus do then?

Technique Description and Effects: [Hey kids, are looking to have some fun?! Then don't look here you little snot. This is mine! Activating this ability creates a giant floating tuba of liquid metal. Or was it water? This tuba is made of something, and that something is in a liquid state. The tuba is controlled via thought, how revolutionary! The owner of this musical instrument can mold itself to whatever shape the user wants, but at no point can two or more edges can be more than five feet apart from one another.

The Tuba is able to move up to a speed of 700, but can only exist within an area of ten feet of the user. If it leaves the area, it will vanish, screaming out in agony, along other words that should be ignored. Fun! The tuba is as durable as the highest spiritual stat of the user. The Beautifully Ultimate Time Tuba, is five feet in diameter. Every attack that impacts this ability reduces the durability of this by half of the offensive stat of the attack. Once it hits zero, it toots into non existence. To anyone who touches this unknown material, they would most likely describe it as feeling like living sand.]

How to use technique: [User pays 400 reiatsu and it's created in front of them. Lasts eight posts. Cannot have more than one. After the duration is up, the user can pay the cost again to maintain the ball. Can also pay 200 reiatsu at any time to repair the ball back to its original durability.]

It was sudden and quick, but Aevus took note of it as soon Impossible stepped away. “Shunpo.” Aevus murmured under his breath, a half smirk painting his features. He knew the step technique by heart. And his mastery of it alongside his battle analysis, allowed him to follow the fleeing creature with ease. It was a valiant effort to run from the inevitable. This Failure was putting on a good show but it would soon be over. As his echoing Blades of Fate began to leave the boundary of his territory, he would fire all four of them at a tremendous speed (6000).

The wave that had pulsed away from his Zanpakuto Spirit would reach the Failure regardless of what he did or how far he ran. And if not, the blades that Aevus had just launched surely would. At least that’s what the Shinigami thought. The dragons took the brute of the attack first. Those cero spewing creatures of the sky didn’t know what hit them. Their serpentine like bodies were shredded as if they were made of nothing but paper. The explosion that echoed from their deaths rung in the Reaper’s ears, and that half smirk lifted into a full grin.

Past that explosion both Lumina and Aevus watched as the Failure’s powers literally became a flood. Reminding the two of the doll that had flooded Karakura town. A creature that had Left nothing but destruction in its wake. Yet the wave of energy that had pulsed from Lumina would push back that massive flood. Slamming that destructive water away from its creator and towards the edge of the graveyard (Class 1 vs class 3). Tombstones were unraveled, and flung from their resting places as that wave of energy tackled against that massive flood.

It would have reached the Failure but narrowed eyes befell a silver shield, that had erected in front of it. The creature had managed to protect himself after all. Heh how surprising. The Zanpakuto that was fired directly at Impossible would shatter off that shield, richotting and splintering into tiny shards of spirtual energy. While the three other blades would fly past the Failure, seemingly missing their mark all together. Or so it would seem, and that’s all Aevus really needed.

Hiding the flare of his technique, Lumina would disappear in an instant. He’d teleport her to the left of the Failure. From one of the blades that he had foolishly ignored. She would be hidden from him, for unlike Aevus she was not released, and her stealth thwarted the ability for the Failure’s energy sensory to find her. With a single motion of her sheen blade, enhanced by a flareless Shunpo Karin (6000 speed). She would twirl upon the ground with grace as she beheaded the Failure.

Technique Description and Effects:

By releasing reiatsu all across the body, one can dull the sound of their movements. The reiatsu surrounding them acts like the silencer on a gun, except it acts on the whole body. When in effect, which is for a duration of 10 posts, one’s movements become completely silent, so much so that one would need a sensory of 250 or more in order to hear the user. This is the Class 5 version of the technique.

For the Class 4 version, this version can be activated at any time whenever the user wishes. By giving up 150 reiatsu when using a technique, the reiatsu flare from that technique can be “silenced.” This basically adds a silencer to techniques just like one would add a silencer to a gun to reduce noise and muzzle flash. Impo was strong in a way that very few could match. His raw power was something that could cause massive amounts of destruction with little effort. As such, he grew arrogant in his abilities. Being nearly unmatched in one aspect, he had forgotten the most basic, primal aspect of combat; attack from where they can't see you. Impo had thought he had every defense he needed to keep himself protected, but that was clearly a fallacy, and at any other time, that would have been his last mistake. Still, it was a mistake he had made, and now that had cost him the fight.

The failure, confidant behind his shield, summoned the water to attack the reaper again, when his perception was suddenly shifted. There was the intense burning sensation in his neck, as his vision was thrown to the side. He tried to move his head, his body, anything, but only his eyes were able to function. Somehow the reaper had gotten him. Maybe the swords had moved on their own, but he had no idea how. His senses, energy or otherwise, should have detected something like that. He was at a loss, as his severed head wore a look of shock, right before it landed in the dirt.

It wouldn't last for long though. The open wounds would suddenly release a pillar of reiatsu, burning white hot, before the now dead failure's body burst like a cheap balloon. The wolf spirit would be consumed in a colorless explosion, erasing everything in its path. Her death would be painless, happening too fast to feel anything other than oblivion. For Aevus though, he would actually get to see the wave of death before it struck him down. IT would be like looking into the sun, moments away from blinding him, yet unable to look away. Afew a few moments, every inch of the graveyard would be wiped from the face of the planet, the destruction only barely being contained by the arena boundaries.
