Thread Title: Can the Panther Survive? Participants: Rafael vs ?? World: Human World Death Setting: Permanent Injuries Enabled Rating: R Location: Karakura Town as a whole. Starting out in the middle of Karakura at 1 o'clock. Special Conditions: This is a free to join pvp that centers around UE members either beating or capturing Rafael and bringing him back to UE headquarters. As such for the first 10 posts up to TWO rank 1 UE characters may join this thread at once. After the first 10 posts rank 2 members may join or additional rank 1 members may join. Circumstances: Rafael unsure of his own power inadvertently opens a portal to the Human world. After accidentally using the portal and arriving in Karakura Town his reiatsu is picked up by the UE headquarters. Mere moments after his arrival in Karakura Town are many of the employees being sent text messages or called to capture Rafael for fear that he may be savage and cause harm to the normal human population.
It was in the middle of the day with the sun high in the sky sending down rays of light over Karakura town the pavement of the street hot to the touch. Most of the street was filled with the quick pitter patter of footsteps as the normal everyday humans moved from one place to another going on with their normal seemingly unimportant and boring lives. This town was known to have unexplained incidents such as buildings suddenly coming down or damages to public property that couldn't be explained. Random disappearances and many other odd occurrences that many other towns in Japan didn't suffer or at least to a much lesser degree so why anyone remained in this town was beyond comprehension.
One such oddity happened to occur at this very moment on this seemingly natural day. In the middle of the street between the two separate sides of the road suddenly a portal would appear and in the next moment a massive animal would fall through the portal onto the hot pavement. The portal would instantly close just after the animal fell to the pavement leaving it there in the middle of the street. Thankfully the normal humans in the area were unable to see him yet anyone of spiritual nature would easily be able to perceive him. He had looked like a normal large panther until he stood and revealed that he was in fact one of the Beast clan of Soul Society.
Rafael would look around seeing what he knew to be buildings that were like those of his previous life. How was this possible though he knew that he had died and that he had gone to some other place or that he had been reborn as what he was now. He had accepted that and actually was glad it had happened because he was far happier now than he ever had been as a human. This though brought up so many questions. How had he gotten here? How had he made that portal? How was he going to get back to Lolth and Zadora?
He began to think only to realize that he was standing on hot pavement and could feel the pads on his paws starting to hurt from the heat. So moving from the street he'd walk to the side walk and then into an alleyway where he'd be able to relax in the shade away from the burning hot sun. He had grown accustomed to it in his normal habitat as the sun was still present and just as hot, but there wasn't anything like pavement that would always get hot and burn his feet. He had to figure out a way to open that portal up again so he could return to his friends.

Impossible was a simple guy. All he needed to be happy, was a stable source of income, nice food, and things not trying to f#ck up his day. That was all that he really needed. Unfortunately for Impo, his job was centered around him finding things that would most certainly do that. Que the giant a$$ thing that just fell out of the sky. It didn't need to do that, but it did that anyway. Impo had been eating at a fairly nice restaurant, the kind you sit down and relax at. Impo never got to the sitting down part, because these people, like so many others, were very frickin stupid!
"I told you, I have a f#cking reservation!" He told the guy at the front desk, who was looking both nervous and angry at the same time. "Sir, I keep telling you, if you just stopped doing that glowing thing you could-" "I DON'T GLOW YOU STUPID S*#T HEAD!" Impo was being denied entry, due to a certain... skin condition of his. Namely, the fact that it glowed, currently bright red. He did not like having that little tidbit brought up, and now he was angry. Very, very angry. His yelling eventually brought the attention of someone far more important than the desk boy.
"Sir, what seems to be the issue?" Asked an irate restaurant owner. Impo's head whipped in his direction, looking like a crimson demon. "I'll tell you what the issue is! Your stupid a$$ desk b#tch won't let me-" Impo cut himself off, sensing a spiritual energy entering into the world of the living. And it wasn't something he recognized. Impo scowled. He jabbed a finger at the man. "This isn't over." He warned, walking out of the building, fuming at his lack of food. The two humans he left behind only stared in both confusion and relief, glad to no longer be dealing with the angry failure.
Said failure was lucky, as he was relitivly close to... whatever it was that decided to claw its way into Karakura. Whether that luck was hood or not was still up for debate. Oh well, at least he could probably save some lives if he hurried. That thought caused Impo to speed up. 'Ah crap, if I don't hurry this thing might start killing people.' He used a shunpo to arrive at the alley where this thing was. He was sure it would notice him, glowing people didn't just show up out of nowhere, no matter how slow his movement abilities were.
Thankfully, Impo was probably the one best suited for dealing with something like this. The failure looked at the... cat? He was going with cat. He looked at the cat with a curious expression, never having seen or sensed something like this before. Well, there was that one time... nah, never mind. That thing was different. "Hey there big guy. You look lost. Want some help?" He spoke to it in a... soft, tone. he still sounded annoyed. His skin still had red splotches on it too, even if his hair took on a teal color, looking calm.
The reason Impo was the best suited for this was that, he spoke the beast's language. In fact, he spoke every language, thanks to a technique he made called spiritual language. It was something he did to avoid learning Japanese out of sheer laziness. To him, everyone sounded like they were speaking English, and in return, he sounded like whatever language they spoke. It was quite handy for the lazy failure. He was hoping to avoid a fight, but he wasn't afraid to put this thing down if he needed to. He had plenty of ways to capture it. A glowing red aura surrounded Impossible, a clear sign that his flood was now active.
As Rafael stood in the alleyway trying to figure out how he had arrived in this city from the looks of things he just couldn't get over the fact that what he was seeing seemed to be . . Asia? He could see the buildings and knew they were similar to some of the buildings in New York that he had seen when he had been a human and traveled between his house and school. Since he had been killed though he had been living his second life as a giant cat Beast. The humans he had been fighting against treated him and other Beasts like animals and that had been all he had gathered from where he had awoken in his new body.
So how was it that now he was seemingly back in his previous life with the exception that he was still in his new body. The question still remained though, how had he gotten back here? He had been out training alone away from both Lolth and Zadora so that he wouldn't bother them. During his training he had grown tired and began to think about his previous life. As he thought about his father pain and rage had built up within him until he finally just had to scream in a combination of both emotions. What had happened was something that Rafael didn't understand.
What looked like a circular hole in the air seemed to appear in front of him a few feet away. He hadn't seen anything like it ever despite everything that he had started seeing in his second life. He had seen humans command the very elements as weapons to be used and yet this time it was himself doing something he would have thought to be impossible. So he stepped forwards and extended a hand to the hole and in the next moment that had been it. He had fallen through the hole and arrived here in what could only be somewhere in Asia.
What happened next was something that could be argued to be even more strange than falling through a portal that he had created yet didn't know about in the first place. He heard a familiar sound the sound that was given off when he or someone else whether it be a human or another Beast executed the movement technique he had been taught named Shunpo. He could easily see the side of the alleyway that was in front of him so turning around expecting to see one of the the two races that he was accustomed to dealing with at this point Rafael was rather surprised to see what seemed so out there.
On the other side of the alleyway stood what looked to be a young human man that was multiple colors at once. He wasn't a mix race giving him his own unique coloration of skin like one might expect in a human. No this guy was completely different with prominent colors that one could only find in a coloring book. How was he so many different colors at once and why did it seem like they were shifting or changing slightly as he just stood there looking at him.
He was looking right at him so Rafael figured that unlike all of the other humans who seemed to just have passed him by even before he had gotten into the alleyway this one whatever he was could see him. It was confirmed the following moment when he asked if Rafael was lost and spoke to him as if he were some small animal or pet. Rafael still had most of the memories of when he had been human, but knew that he was a Beast and actually took pride in what he was now. Being spoken to in that manner pushed his confusion aside and made room for anger towards this insulting little freak.
"Don't speak to me in that way you little glow stick. Where am I? What do you want?" Rafael would speak to the entity that had just arrived in the alleyway in his large deep voice making it known that he wasn't fond of being spoken to as if he were a pet. He was angry enough that he didn't really care if this guy was special or different than the normal humans he was accustomed to dealing with back in the wilderness. All he cared about right now was figuring out where exactly he was and how the hell to get back to his friends before something bad happened to them.

Impo was probably the best suited for peaceful negotiations, this might have been true... if it weren't for one massive problem... Impo's eyes started to twitch violently upon hearing the words of the animal, and instantly the teal faded out of his hair, and was quickly replaced with red. Most of his primarily heavenly white skin became covered in the same angry shade, as it became apparent that the panther's words had an effect on the failure. His stance straightened, and the kind-ish look that he had before died, clearly unhappy with how it saw him.
"Okay then you little sh#t, you wanna be an a$$hole, FINE! Two can play it that way." Impo's one real problem stopping him from being a peace negotiator, was that he had little to no control over his anger. When something pissed him off, he wasn't afraid to show it. In fact, he was currently doing this to the poor big cat. His spiritual power was something to be awed at, and something to be feared. With a bit of careful manipulation, he could exert it over others close by him. Right now, he was only using it at a low level, though he could go higher.
He sneered. "First off, Pr#ck, I don't glow, I never glow, and if you say otherwise, it means there's something wrong with your eyes!" He told the member of the beast clan, explaining it slowly, but not to the degree that one would explain something to a child. "Secondly, my name is Impossible. You have my permission to address me Impo, only ONLY one of those two names." He started walking towards the cat, though in a non-threatening manner, dropping his intimidating aura, though not his flood.
"And third, your stupid a$$ fell into Karakura town. Japan if you didn't know, and from that expression on your face, you didn't." His face relaxed, taking a bored expression. His left hand was now in his pocket, while his right was hanging at his side, with his palm pointing towards the mammal. He stopped walking once the gap between them was five feet. He looked into, he was guessing it was a guy since it sounded like one, into his purple eyes, with his own mismatched ones.
"Now that I've explained that, what I want, is just to have a nice mother f#cking meal." Impo explained. "Sadly, you decided to pop up out of whatever hole you crawled out of, so now I have to deal with you. So I'll give you two choices. The easy way, where we both go out for F#CKING ice-cream or some sh#t, or the hard way. You have five seconds before I show you what the hard way is. And trust me, you're really not gonna like what happens next." He threatened him, plain and simple. He was hungry, and still willing to give him a chance. He really hoped he didn't have to kill the weird creature.
Rafael watched as the coloration of the guy in front of him suddenly changed once again this time to nothing, but what looked like multiple different color schemes of the color red. He didn't know what to get from the fact that this guy in front of him was constantly changing color, but the fact that he looked angry meant that what Rafael had just said to him hadn't been handled well. However, while this guy didn't seem to like being addressed in the manner that Rafael had just addressed him Rafael didn't like the manner he was being spoken to either.
As the guy in front of him down the alleyway revealed that his name for whatever reason as Impossible and began to insult Rafael the large panther Beast began to walk right up to him. The size difference between them was massive. This guy was only about the average height for a human male while Rafael was taller than most vehicles. This weird color changing guy would have to lean his head backwards almost completely just to look Rafael in his grey pupil-less eyes. "I think you better leave here Human."
Rafael was angry as well more angry than anything else at the moment. He had just been insulted and spoken to in ways that he hadn't been since he himself had been human and it had led to his death. All of the bullies and his father had spoken to him in this same manner and they had received their punishment for it. If this guy didn't leave now and just give Rafael the time to think he needed to figure out how to reopen that portal and get back to Zadora and Lolth then he was going to receive his punishment as well. He knew he was in Japan which meant he was somehow once again on Earth. He didn't know where he had been then, but he knew he wanted to get back there.

Impo glared at the stupidly tall animal-man. He couldn't have made it easy for him, could he have? Oh well. Raising his hand right up while still looking into the eyes of the panther, he said something that the beastly creature might recognize. "Hado number one, sho." He stated calmly. The ability would throw the big-cat. It wouldn't deal blunt force trauma, but that animal would practically fly backwards.
Impo had angled the attack slightly upwards, so the rogue spirit would land on a rooftop somewhere. "HARD WAY IT IS, DIP SH#T!" Impo could keep track of him thanks to his energy sensory, so he wasn't exactly afraid he'd run off. Raising his left hand, Impo activated his favorite ability he named 'Skull Slayer'. It was bit of a taxing ability, but the effects were well worth it. A giant dragon skull appeared above the failure, possessing the same eyes that he had.
It takes a few seconds to create, but Impo was fairly certain that he'd be free to do so. After creation, Impo twitched his fingers about, and the dragon head moved about in a way that let the failure climb atop of it. Something he did quickly, not wanting to give the hard headed beast too much time to cause chaos for the world. Moving his fingers about once more, the bone construct took off towards where the beast was, moving at a speed of 300.
Usable By: [Hollows, vizards, hell races, and failures]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects: [This ability creates a giant skull, with the head being different for each individual. The few consistencies between person to person however, is that it is always bone white, always shares the eye color of its caster, and is always the skull of an animal. You write in your animal skull in after learning this tech. The skull can be no larger than a car, and no smaller than a bike for adults.
This 'skull' has three major abilities. The first is the ability to fly. It has the ability to move at very high speeds, having a static speed of 800. It is not autonomous however, only responding to your physical commands. When you just learn this ability, you are able to control two at a time, one per each hand. At adept, you'll be able to control one per finger, moving them as you see fit. At mastered, you can control two per finger. Keep in mind that this is a very mentally taxing ability, and even controlling one requires you to split your focus in half. You would need very high instincts to manipulate more than five.
The second ability is that these skulls give you a shared vision, thus the reason they have your eye color. This does not mean they share your senses. They only give you their vision. They cannot hear, feel, or smell anything. They do not give sensory overload however or any other negative effects, meaning if they are subject to a flashbang or an illusion, the caster will receive the blinding effect. The skull will be subject to however long the effects of whatever hit them would normally last, in spite of the caster still being able to guide them with his own vision in place of the skull's.
And finally, these creatures can cast abilities for their caster, save for release techs and step techs. Any ability the user would normally fire, these guys will fire for them if they so please, at the cost of an additional 25% of the normal tech cost. The ability will always start off as a cero-like beam of energy. Once the beam hits something, the struck is immediately subjected to the effects the ability would normally do, be it freezing, burning, binding, etcetera. The fire rate is a static speed of 800, and the laser is launched as a constant stream for the post that it was activated.]
How to use technique: [By raising your hand to the sky, this ability takes away 500 reiatsu to activate, and forms the skull you designed upon learning this tech. The caster is unable to move while he activates this, nor are they able to use any abilities that require use of their hands to use. You are able to summon up to five at a time is you pay the cost for however many you summon. Meaning if you summon all five at once, you'd be paying 2500 reiatsu.]
Technique Drawbacks [This ability is very hard for those with low mental abilities to use. Their vision becomes split between the two heads, or even more if you dare try for more than one skull. Attacks to the skull might register as attacks to you, and force you to jump instead of moving the skull. The same is also true. The skull only has one of your senses, meaning that it is vulnerable to attacks outside of its vision, unless the caster is paying a heavy amount of attention to both their own, and their summon.
If you use an ability that would cause normally damage will not be transferred to the skull. The caster will still take the damage they normally would.
This ability is only able to use abilities that are within one class of this ability. This means only abilities that are class four, three, or two are able to be used. Any other abilities would be either too weak to charge the skull, or would overload it, and the skull would break down.
Users of weapons are also unable to use their hands for melee combat. If they tried, their summon, or summons, would fly all over the place, crashing into all sorts of things. The skulls aren't very sturdy either, with even a hit higher than 100 strength being able to destroy it.

Standing in front of the strange glowing bright colors of what Rafael could only assume to be the same kind of energy that made him glow when he used his power. He didn't glow constantly though or change color so what this guy was doing was something Rafael didn't know. He was expecting the glowing human to continue trying to insult him as it was obvious based on his physical appearance or rather his facial expressions as Rafael was right in front of him that his height and body size wasn't intimidating him.
As the human began to speak once again uttering the words for his spell Rafael's eyes and the rest of his face seemed to immediately go into shock for a moment. The fur on his face bristled as he realized what this human was saying. It sounded familiar and just as he began to realize where he had heard it from before he was already being sent backwards through the air and upwards. He could feel the air against his back pushing his fur forwards as the ground seemed to get further and further away and the human got smaller and smaller.
It wasn't for a few moments that Rafael managed to feel the force that had been pushing him backwards suddenly lose power and his heavy body began to descend downwards onto the top of a roof in what he now knew was a town in Japan. The roof was something that Rafael wasn't all that happy with hitting it was dense and hard and while he believed that he could break through it if he tried as he dropped on top of it all of the force of his fall reverberated throughout him. Knocking the air from him and making it rather painful at least for a brief moment.
He knew now that he was fighting against another human that could use the strange spells that the one Shinigami had used against him that had black hair and used a sword. That spell had been used against him by her which had been where he had realized the spell sounded familiar. Her use of the spell hadn't packed nearly as close of a punch as it had felt like a shove this time it had literally pushed him up off of the ground and through the ground onto the roof of a building. Whoever this glow stick was he wasn't someone to take lightly.
As he quickly got up onto his feet he looked downwards into the alleyway where he knew he had been standing only a moment ago and what he saw now was what looked like a dragon's skull hovering in the air in the alleyway itself. The skull was around the same size as himself, but the question to really be asked was how it had suddenly turned up. Almost right after he saw it the glow stick that had just sent him flying backwards jumped up onto of the skull and it started to move towards him. Rafael quick to react knew that he had to figure out a way to get back to his friends more than he had to win this battle.
So turning he began to run. Running to the end of the roof quickly and then right before the glow stick would reach the top of the roof Rafael would drop down the opposite side of the roof down into the streets of the town once again. He'd hit the pavement yet with his strength and size it felt like nothing out of the norm. The ground below him actually cracked slightly at his weight. He was quick to run across the street jumping over a car that was rushing down the road. It would all happen within a few seconds and Rafael would reach the opposite side of the street where he would run into another alleyway and continue hoping to give this guy the slip.

Impo's hunch bore fruit. Normally he didn't bother to say his abilities aloud because of how pointless it was, but he needed to see where this thing came from. If it recognized the name, well, he could tell it wasn't a hollow subspecies. It wasn't violent, or at least it wasn't violent enough to attack him for getting close to him. Since this thing did recognize his words, if the shocked expression was anything to go by, he could tell that this thing was shinigami related. Just another reason that he didn't like those guys.
Still, he needed to catch this thing, and knowing where it came from doesn't help that. He watched as it fell to the roof across the street, as he now sat in moderate comfort on the bony construct. It took to the air, defying physics thanks to Impo's magic, and started following high in the sky, watching down at the fleeing animal-man. He had a number of advantages over the beast clan, most importantly, speed. This thing was very fast, a wonderful transport ability when he needed to get somewhere.
The second was that it couldn't actually escape him. He was well trained in the art of energy sensory. He had the ability to sense it wherever it went, so long as it didn't get outside his range, and given the flying dragon skull, he doubted it would. He could probably capture this thing pretty quickly... but why not let it wear itself out? His fingers twitched, and his skull descended. He was about twenty feet above the beast, lagging behind about ten feet. Impo looked bored, wondering how long this would take.
AS Rafael ran through the street jumping over a single car in order to continue his evasion of whatever that glowing dick heads plan was for him. He had to figure out a way to get back to wherever his friends and him lived normally. He knew that he had been the cause for that portal opening up. So that meant he could logically pull it off again the only thing he had to figure out was how he had actually caused it to open. So as he ran he thought back to what he had done. All he could really think of was the fact he had screamed.
He had to figure this out, but perhaps he could think more clearly when he wasn't being chased around a town he didn't know in a country he didn't know in a world he no longer belonged in. He hadn't ever fought in a town or city aside from training with his instructor when he had been alive and when he had constantly been beaten up by other students and his father. This was the first time he would have to fight in an urban area. Not yet though he had thinking to do.
Rafael wasn't the typical act first then think over the issues type of Beast. He knew he had to figure out what was at hand and gather enough time to do so correctly. So as he entered into the alleyway trying to put distance between himself and this glowing guy he saw something that gave him an idea. By the time the glowing douche soared over the alleyway a few seconds later he would see the alleyway empty of anyone. Yet he'd still sense the reiatsu of Rafael moving away from him where he should be right there below him.
Moving through the underground sewer system wasn't something that Rafael was all that happy about. He wasn't one to deal with filth kindly and normally had an impulse to clean anything he viewed as being out of place or dirty. Not to mention the smell down in the rather well complete darkness of it all. He had been able to get down into it quickly by kicking in the cap and then falling down himself. Right afterwards he had gone to the side made of cement more so that he wouldn't stand in the slush of filth than out of sight from above.
Thanks to the light shining from above though he could see the layout of the tunnel he was in at the moment. Ahead of him was another hundred feet of tunnel until there was an intersection from what he could see. Behind him there was only maybe twenty feet and then an intersection. He had to assume that all of the intersections were linked by the streets. Getting into position he'd quickly flow his energy into his feet and then take off faster than he could normally. Reaching the intersection one hundred feet away in an instant.
He'd turn right and continue running while moving his right paw against the side of the wall just ahead of him so that he knew if the tunnel was going to suddenly change in a different way. He had to find some way out, but first he had to get far enough away from the guy who for some reason was coming after him. He'd be able to sense him, but would he be able to pick up on where Rafael had gone and how he was getting further and further away without any sign of him being above ground to actually see. Only time would tell.
And as Impo flew to exactly where he sensed the beast, he found...! NOTHING! A WHOLE STEAMING PILE OF NOTHING! Looking at the ground, he sensed the beast, but it wasn't there! Either it turned invisible, or it had managed to throw off his energy sensory to such a degree, that he could only sense, THIS SPOT IN PARTICULAR! In this STUPID F#&KING ALLEY! WITH... with... a manhole. That.. that was open. "Ah... sh%t." He said to himself, feeling the presence moving away from the spot he'd been complaining about half a moment earlier.
So the thing had gone underground, had it? He. It. Whatever. Well, that was easy enough. He could still sense the beastly fellow, so the plan remained the same. He continued following above where it should have been if it were on the surface, and just waited for it to leave through something. He was sure he would smell nothing but wet fur and whatever passed through a sewer for a week after catching him, but better his sense of smell be attacked than a regular guy or gal.

Jak Halcom was in the middle of an handing one of his usual customers their order when his cell phone buzzed in his jean pocket. He tried not to let the irritation show on his face. He had finally gotten his mother's flower shop up and running with regulars, and it seems that Kazura was sending requests now more than ever before. Once the customer left, he looked down at his cell phone reading the text quickly. Apparently, something had gotten into Karakura town again. This was just great. He knew the reputation of the town. Hell, he lived in the place all his life, and he had seen just about every sort of spiritual being, as much as every normal human being.
Lucky for him it was a slow day. That was his one customer for now, so he was able to close the shop up for a while. He locked the door with a quick jerk of the key after flipping the sign saying he was closed. The half demon was quite something to behold. A tall man with long snow white hair and fairly tanned skin. His well muscled chest was shown proudly underneath his black leather jacket. He wore a pair of black leather, finger less gloves with studded knuckles, and a pair of dirty torn jeans. On his feet was a pair of black and blue sandals. He read the text more carefully to see if it had any detailed description on what he was up against. He sighed. Vague of course.
He closed his crimson eyes and tried to search for anything out of the ordinary with his ability to sense energy. He could sense something moving around out there, but he was not particularly good at it, so it was hard to make out. He would open his eyes and start heading that way anyway. He would take slow deep breaths as he ran. That way he didn't tire himself out before the fight even began. He tried to guess what it was judging by the tactics it was using. It sure was no hollow, he would be able to tell that by the lack of screaming and collateral damage. That was about where he stopped. He wasn't really the analytical sort, he was the jump in and figure it out later sort.
He noticed that the blip he was sensing was beneath him. He looked down trying to intercept it at the right time and place. He wished that his energy sensory was more acute, but he just told himself that he would just train for that later. He managed to come to a man hole a head of the thing beneath him. He would easily pick it up with his bare hands and move it out of the way for him to jump down into the sewers. The stench hit him immediately, but his senses were not high enough for him to be too discomforted by the smell. It was the landing that made him far more disgusted. Right when he landed, he regretted wearing sandals. The filth water hit his feet soaking it and his shoes.
"As crap!" He nearly shouted. He didn't have time for that. Whatever had come from the spirit world, was now heading to him. He braced himself ignoring the rushing shit water that wet his feet. When the thing rounded the corner, Jak was rather surprised to see a large, humanoid, black cat. Jak couldn't help but smile. This was something that he had not fought before. He pointed his right arm, blazing red with excitement. "You," He would then point his thumb at his chest. "and me." He said not sure that the thing understood him. He would bring up his fists trying to adjust to the slippery footing. "Just make this fun." he said with a smile.
As Rafael dropped down into the stench of the sewer system that ran below Karakura Town he took off trying to put as much distance between himself and whoever this annoying glowing dude happened to be. He was already standing on the side of the sewer using the cement walk way in order to get around faster and not stand in the filth that was slowly moving from one place to another. It was dark down in here and smelled horrific, but as of yet the glowing idiot hadn't come down after him which meant that he might just have a chance to get away and find out how he had gotten to Japan and how the hell he was going to get back to Zadora and Lolth.
As he appeared at the intersection thanks to the usage of Shunpo, Rafael heard the sound of someone shouting and turned. He saw what looked to be a fairly muscular human with what happened to be a glowing red arm. Almost right away Rafael could see this young guy smile and then point to his glowing arm and then to himself and indicate that he wanted to fight Rafael right away down here. "What the hell is going on?" thought Rafael. This was the second person that he had just come across in the span of a few minutes that happened to be glowing. Granted this guy only had his arm glowing, but the first guy was glowing all over. This was crazy.
All he wanted to do was figure out how to return home and yet these humans or whatever they were since last he checked humans didn't glow and he had been told he was in Japan. All they wanted to do was insult him or fight him. The first guy had used the same magic that Rafael had encountered when facing off against the Shinigami. This guy he wasn't sure what to expect, but fighting right now wasn't the correct option. He'd waste to much energy beating them to the ground and that's if he was strong enough to actually accomplish such a feat. He didn't know how strong either of them happened to be, but if they fought him together chances were it wouldn't matter he'd lose.
This was just great. He had finally figured out a hiding place to try and get away from the guy up on the surface and right away another guy appears down in the sewers. Rafael could see the light coming in from the man hole and thought about trying to get out, but knew that doing so would take to much time as he'd have to break his way out. That was the price of having such a large form. This left him with next to no other option than to beat this guy up and hope that the one on the surface wouldn't do anything or find them in the first place. He had to try though. So right away without a word Rafael would turn and rush back down the tunnel he had just come from.
The guy with the glowing arm would simply see Rafael disappear back down the tunnel to his left. He was looking for a fight and seemed to be pretty excited about the idea of fighting Rafael. So chances were that he was going to chase after him and Rafael knew that. This information and assumption led to Rafael setting up a method of attack that he wasn't all that familiar with as he normally fought straight forward. Right now this was his first time setting a trap for a foe. As the young man would take the turn now more than likely standing on the cement walkway the same as Rafael he'd suddenly receive a quick jab aimed in the center of his face from Rafael who was hiding right away the corner in the darkness. Whether successful or not Rafael would quickly step forwards attempt to knee the young man in his gut and then shove him backwards off of the walkway and back into the filthy water. After that the ebony panther would take off running in the opposite direction.
Jak was sure that the cat thing would have fought to get passed him, but it seemed that it had a level of intelligence that he didn't expect. The panther ran back the way he came trying to avoid the fight. Jak scowled he wasn't going to let the first potential good fight he had slip by him. "Hey! Get back here!" he shouted at the Panther's back. Jak chased after him quickly starting to gain ground on the panther. For a cat, this guy was not very fast, Jak thought with a disappointed look. Yeah he would be able to catch him, but could that also mean that he doesn't really have much in the way of strength either? This was starting to concern him.
Either way he gave chase. Disappointing fight or not, Jak had to capture him and bring him back to UE. He might as well get some money from his side job. Jak continued to chase the cat who turned a corner. Jak continued after him changing directions with his weight to the front as he turned. BAM! a fist made contact with his face. The hit stung hitting him square in the face, but the quick jab didn't manage to break anything. Jak kept his weight to the front anticipating a followup attack. As expected, the panther jumped and planted a knee in Jak's gut trying to push him back into the sweage behind the half demon. Jak's feet slid back a little bit, but that was all.
As Jak was anticipating the follow up, he had tightened all his muscles taking the hit full force. It had some force behind it. He was not dealing with a typical weakling for sure, but there was still a huge difference between himself and the cat. The knee in Jak's gut meant they were really close, giving Jak a chance to circle his arms around the feline quickly after being hit. He would hold him tight enough that he could not break free, but not hard enough to snap him in two. "That won't be enough to stop me!" He shouted as he pulled himself back throwing his weight backwards as he bent his back like doing the limbo.
Jak was studying wrestling to add to his fighting style. Most of it was practical wrestling, able to control the opponent on the ground and what not, but some of it was also the showy, flashy kind of wrestling they show on tv. Jak had the idea since he had the cat in a bear hug. He suplexed cat person and slammed him down with roughly half of his full strength. With both of them on their back, Jak quickly let go and flopped onto his stomach getting to his hands and knees. He wanted to use his superior speed to get on top of the cat before he recovered from the hit. If he did, then Jak would sit on the cat's chest in a mounted position throwing several punches to the cat's face.
As Rafael turned around the corner in the darkness of the sewer he listened carefully utilizing his sense of hearing to the best of his abilities. He normally was pretty confident in what he could do and what he couldn't do and didn't let what he wasn't all that great at dwell on him very much because he knew that if he wasn't very good at it that he would train to be better at it eventually. However, right now in the darkness and being tracked down like he was being hunted by these humans or whatever the hell they were he was wishing that he had learned a few things from Lolth about listening and utilizing his senses better. Compared to her he knew that he might as well be blind and deaf. If he managed to get back to wherever he and his friends lived that was going to be one of the first things he'd ask Lolth.
Waiting around the corner Rafael struck out at the muscular human looking guy that had arrived down in the sewer and seemed overly eager to fight him. It was successful at first, but as Rafael delivered a powerful knee to the gut of this human he felt the difference in the body that he had just hit. This guy wasn't a weakling at all. He had just flexed his muscles and the result was a very strong layer of defense. Rafael constantly pushed himself and tested what he was physically capable of doing and one thing he knew he could do easily was break through stone so the fact that right now his knee didn't break any bones or cause this guy to be sent flying meant one thing for Rafael. He was up against someone even physically stronger than himself.
He had fought against entities stronger than him in the past in fact that was one reason why he might have gotten so good at taking a beating outside of his human life. Defeating them by himself though wasn't something that Rafael had been able to do in the past though. Which meant one of two things. Either he was going to repeat the past and eventually this guy was going to beat him or he was going to change his future and defeat this guy. Rafael was getting ready to strike again when suddenly the arms of this guy wrapped around him and started to squeeze. Rafael could feel pain from the pressure of the squeeze and quickly as he was being picked up and re-positioned he attempted a quick elbow with his right to the side of this guy's face.
It would hopefully cause him some pain and damage, but Rafael didn't have enough time to repeat it as the guy dropped backwards and both of them hit the cement hard. Rafael could feel a wave of pain rush over him as the cement cracked down and the sewer water rippled from the impact. He knew that his bones were damaged in his back, but that if he didn't do anything quickly that this guy was going to be able to get in another hit or even more than one and if this guy was able to inflict as much damage on him and cause as much pain as he just did with every hit than Rafael knew he wouldn't last very long. So as the guy got onto his feet Rafael did the same.
He wasn't as fast as this guy and by the time that he was on his feet again his opponent was already basically right in front of him. Quickly Rafael hopped backwards and as his right foot touched the surface of the cement again his left leg moved forward attempting to deliver a low sweeping kick aimed at where Rafael judged the ankle of his opponent would be at that moment. If successful Rafael's full strength would hit the ankle of his opponent more than likely breaking it or damaging it severely at the least. It would keep him from closing the distance at that moment easily and the fact that this guy was so much faster wouldn't be so much of a problem anymore. If he was successful though Rafael would watch as the guy would fall to the cement and in that moment Rafael would take off again rushing along the cement and taking a quick corner back the way that he had originally come from.
