They've Already Reached Our Boarder

Both of the Shinigami that had been sent to deal with the Beast that was invading the districts were getting along rather well compared to the norm of how well Shinigami from different divisions got along in sudden assignments. One of the them was taking on the role of the mentor while the other the student which would either aid them significantly in the battle to come of perhaps it would actually cost them far more than either of them could possibly imagine. Only time would be able to answer that question though as both of them suddenly would appear in the area that they had heard the screaming from.

Immediately they'd be able to see that many of the shakes that the citizens lived in were crushed or broken into pieces, but even worse than that there was a rather large amount of blood covering the wood of the shakes and the dirt of the streets. Bodies were scattered throughout the area some with holes through them and others with just sections missing and organs all over the area. What had just done this wasn't something that showed mercy and it seemed to be killing anyone that it came across whether or not they were a threat of just in the way.

They'd be able to speak to one another for a few moments and then they'd hear the sound of it's foot steps on the ground loud thuds coming from a short distance away. If they turned around they would just witness what looked to be a massive dark brown insect like Beast walking out onto the main street from a side street. It's body was covered in thick scarlet life as it's head slowly turned and it's small emotionless eyes starred at the both of them. This was the creature that had just killed so many and now it had it's eyes set on them so what were they going to do about it?

{Appearance}

[Arantima Kawada]

Arantima looks out over the Carnage and flicks his Zanpakuto out to the side, slightly antsy to see what is making this happen. He Surveyed the scene before him carefully. His sealed senses not being as sharp as he was when he was not released, and while he could afford to stay in a released state he did not want to worry Joshua, nor make him feel un-needed. "Joshua. I am Of little use to you as i am now.. But When I release I do not want you to feel weak. My Shikai Release is something abnormal. The difference in power between that and what I am now is immense." He doesn't look over at joshua, keeping his eyes forward.

Arantima flicks his sword into the air, clasping his hands together in prayer before catching the blade with his cradled arms. He lets out a Soft breath before speaking softly "Ten no ryū o nigiru ten no ha, Tenryu Satsujin." He doesnt even flinch as his blade dissolves into a Golden flame, hilt and all are eaten up by the fire. Moments after the fire is Gone there is a Drastic intake of Air as All of the weight and pressure that Arantima exerts on the world around him is suddenly absorbed into his body rapidly. The force of the air is like a rapid depressurization but not enough to knock someone off their feet.

Arantima Flexes his muscles and shakes out his hands, his muscles seem more toned, his body more comfortable and less.. weakened.  He looks around over the sighs before him now with his renewed vision and hearing, shaking his head when they return nothing new. He looks over his shoulders at joshua and Smirks just before two Golden Shields Come into being in a Flash of Golden fire, appearing 5 feet away from Tima to his left and right. they float almost weightlessly without even a slight bounce to their flight, they are rock solid in their placement.

"Tenbin. The Golden Shields of Heaven, Created by my will to defend myself and my allies..  Feel safe behind them joshua." He Smirks and looks back towards the Carnage. The Creature has not yet showed itself but it was coming close, Arantima had no skill in energy sensory and was cursing himself for that setback in his own skills. He Could not even attempt to develop that part of him and he knew it, it had been something he attempted once long before he had entered the Shino academy and he had no conncetion to the Souls of others.

[Musuhina Kesshino]

With districts of the Rukongai reduced to rubble and the surviving inhabitants moving as far away from the rumored monster as possible, things were certainly in a tight spot for everyone involved. And it was also something that Musuhina just couldn't let slide by like it was nothing. Being born and raised in the Rukongai herself, she wasn't about to just let this beast rampage as kill as he pleased, not while she was still breathing. So as soon as she had the most severe cases in her squad's barracks taken care of, she grabbed Shinku Ko and headed out to investigate these events for herself.

Though she couldn't help but briefly lose herself in thought, wondering about how strong this monster must be to attack the Rukongai openly. She'd figured that it had to have been a Hollow, it couldn't have been anything-else. Either that or it was something new altogether that didn't know the Gotei 13 were constantly around almost constantly. But whatever the case may be, whether it was a Hollow or not, it was still running around and causing trouble. Though judging by the sudden release of reiatsu she had felt along with Shinku Ko tugging her in the direction of the spilled blood in the area, Musuhina wouldn't have to look around for too long.

As she jumped on top of a nearby roof, she scanned the immediate area to get a better picture of what was going on. From what she could see, it looked like two other Shinigami were already here. And the large thing they were facing must be the bea- "What the Hell is that...?" she said with confusion. It was...weird to say the least, but it was still the thing that she and the other two were after, even though she'd expected it to be a bit more monstrous in the looks department. Despite that though, she'd make the first move after drawing her zanpakuto before stretching her free hand outward as a bolt of lightning shot towards the monster they were facing after shouting "Byakurai!".

Sorry for the random intrusion ^^" Asmo sort of directed me here saying that the adventure needed someone. Hope you guys don't mind it too much.

[Angel]

Angel had been working in the outer Rukon for a while, having watched closely for the arrival for a certain Hollow that had tormented her for some time. However, the news of a beast tormenting the people of the further regions of the Rukongai had brought her here. Yes, the 77th district as previously she had been in the not so bad 58th. Having sensed the power of a Shikai being released, the member of squad seven remained silent before dashing through the outskirts of the village. If there was a Shinigami here with a Shikai, that surely meant they were around the level of a seated officer while she was not of that rank yet. Up, down. Up, down as her feet raised and fell as this situation must have been serious for a Shinigami needing to release to deal with the matter.

It was soon enough that she’d see why. There was a carnage of several dead plus around her, and immediately Hikari Kuchiki...otherwise known as Angel drew her Katana in a fluid motion. ‘This spiritual pressure is almost suffocating. The closer I get, the more clear the direction is that it’s coming from. On top of that, I can feel danger up ahead.’ Moving at a faster speed now, Angel twisted and turned along the small village, following the bodies before finding herself almost right next to the source of the spiritual power. However, she simply turned her head over the corner to see the man, prepared to battle. Though, suddenly a bright flash of blue lightning had been launched at a creature of some sort...though if this was the beast or not was questionable.

It didn’t look like any beast clan she had ever seen in her life, and on top of that, if it had killed and destroyed so much for it’s small stature, this was not going to be an easy opponent to defeat. No...the destruction was rapid and spread incredibly fast. Leaping onto a rooftop herself, she blurred out of existence and soon appeared in front of Musuhina with the light brush of the broken tiles she stood upon. Looking down at the beast with a look of cold neutrality, her robes blew in the wind and blue sky before her black eyes stared upon her opponent. Lightly pushing the medic back with her free hand, she would be the shield for her. She would not allow Musuhina to be caught in combat for she simply could not protect herself effectively. Angel would not make the mistake of leaving her vulnerable again. There was no time for introductions, and so Angel quickly used her sword to draw out the shape of a triangle.

“Bakudo no Sanju Ichi: Shitotsu Sansen.” A golden triangle of light formed rapidly fast before firing a tri tipped triangle of binding energy towards the offending beast. The full intention was to force the beast backwards to the seated officer with his Shikai released. In this case, she was not to be a warrior that charged into combat. Angel was to be a guardian for the support role and to make sure that none would harm her. Depending on the reactions of the beast, it would give her a good estimate of how powerful it was. Having fought one in the past in a battle, she learned that Beast Clan members were incredibly resilient, strong, fast, and aggressive. The purple panther came to mind when thinking of her expectations of one of these clan members.

Yet, she learned from experience with other Beast Clan members such as a pack of wolves in the Rukon that some could be incredibly intelligent, some even being able to cast arts of Kido, have full conversations, and socialize with society. However, if this beast was intelligent and was attacking anyways, that made it ever more of a threat. That would mean that it wasn’t attacking just with a beast like mentality. That meant that this creature before them fought with full intention of killing Shinigami and plus lives. The three pillars of light aimed to slam directly for the center of the creature, to pin it to the floor thanks to the diagonal angle and or to distract it, leave it vulnerable.

In part, she always found it part of her duty to defend those that could not defend themselves. It was because of her pride as a Shinigami, her need, her incessant belief that it was needed for her to be the best to defend both friends and the innocent alike. She was to be a blade to strike down the enemies of Soul Society, and yet be it's protector to the best of her ability. Yet, Santa Ajora had proved to her that she was nowhere near the power to protect anyone, even herself. She lacked the power to change the way the world was, and that could not be ever more true from the fact her Shikai resisted her and sought to control her. "Medic-San. Stay out of this conflict. The dying and wounded need you. Allow me to take care of this..." Clenching her Katana tightly in her hands, the plot thickens.

As the scene unfolded and the two shinigami that had been dealing with the common pluses of the district that they were all in at the moment it seemed that reinforcements that hadn't even been planned arrived. Although the Beast that had been attacking the districts had just been sighted only a few moments ago based on the scene around it that all of the shinigami could see at the moment they could use all the help they could get. Although the Vice Captain Arantima was here and now released having his spiritual pressure drowning the area around him with his power this Beast simply stood there unfazed and slowly it's head moved towards Arantima starring at him with an unaffected apathetic look from his small eyes.

The golden shields around the area now didn't seem to attract the attention of this insect looking Beast as it continued to just look at Arantima giving no attention to any of the other Shinigami that seemed to arrive on the scene. The shinigami on the other hand wasted no time in doing what they felt could effect this Beast and keep it from hopefully killing or harming anyone else. The lightning bolt that was sent straight towards the Beast clashed against it's chest and for a moment all of the Shinigami would be able to watch as the lightning itself broke against the exoskeleton with nothing, but a black smug on it's chest.

In the following moment the other Shinigami that had arrived only a moment ago through the usage of Shunpo cast a binding kido that sent out three beams of golden reiatsu towards the Beast. This spell was a good idea in order to try and pin the Beast in place so that all of the Shinigami that were now on the scene could work together in order to eliminate it. It would definitely be a great method of taking on a Beast . . normally. This Beast though continued to show even the Shinigami present that it wasn't to be taken lightly as it stepped forward and the golden reiatsu that now had been pushing against it's body suddenly broke into tiny little pieces.

It took a few steps and then suddenly it was as if the Beast was simply gone as it moved at it's full speed sprinting towards what it saw as the only threat to it or possibly just the target that should be eliminated first. This Beast was so much different than the others that one could normally find in the wilderness of Soul Society. It was almost like it wasn't even an entity itself, but a body with no personality. It didn't speak nor did it show expressions it simply starred at Arantima with it's small eyes and now it was nearly upon him. Jumping up the Beast would get directly in front of Arantima within three seconds of its first step. It's right hand was pulled back and in the next moment it would strike forward with a powerful punch directed at Arantima's face. Although none of the Shinigami had witnessed this Beast's brutal strength with everything they had seen so far they'd more than likely know that being hit by this thing would likely cause major injuries. This battle wasn't going to be easy even with them outnumbering it so how would they take it down?

[Connor Greaves]

My name, is Connor Greaves. For the moment, I am but a lowly member of the ninth Squad, but in time, like all things, that will change. I arrived in the seventy eighth district, much later than my fellow 'shinigami', as loath as I am to use the term. Due to unforseen circumstances, I arrived much later than the others before me, though this might have been planned. I am far from the strongest, so the higher ups might have wished me to be here at the tail end of the mission, to get the feel of it.


I was just arriving into the town. I was without any means of direct contact with the others. This meant that I would need to ask the residents either where they had gone, or where the beast was. The others would undoubtedly be on the hunt for the trouble maker, or they would be close behind. Either way, I would find them somehow. Still, this would require me to interact with people, my only weakness. Sighing to myself, I continued on, finding someone to point me in the right direction. Finding someone, I asked in a somber tone. "Hello. Would you please be so kind, as to give me directions?" I said, not sure how someone would respond to a seven foot masked man.

It seemed that another Shinigami was in the Ruckongai and looking for the creature that had been causing so much chaos the last few days. It wasn't as easy for him though then it was for all of the other Shinigami as he had no idea of how to track the creature and apparently couldn't sense the reiatsu of the other shinigami either that were now engaging against that creature. So in order to try and figure out where this creature might be the young yet massive Shinigami finally found someone to ask where the creature might be so that he could track it down.

What he found was an old looking man with short spiky hair and a moderate sized thick beard that covered the majority of his face all of which happened to be colored dark grey. Although the young Shinigami asked nicely if he could get directions he didn't really state what he was looking for. The old man starred at the shinigami with a look that didn't show the old man as being very nice. Instead he looked rather annoyed by the shinigami. "If you're looking to run then go that way. If you're looking to die then go that way. Either way get away from me." It wasn't really all that clear why citizens didn't like the shinigami, but either way the young one had been given the correct directions and if he hurried he might be able to help out his allies in the battle to come.

[Connor Greaves]

I took the advice of the man graciously. He clearly did not want someone like me around, and I could not blame him. "Thank you for the help. I wish you a pleasant life." I told him in my usual lifeless voice. As I walked towards where he said I would die, I could not help but notice the stares and glares of the people of the town. Hatred for the Shinigami was apparent, and I had to agree with them. I loathed the reapers since I joined that accursed academy of theirs. Knowing the history of them only made my anger for the system grow.

They who claimed to protect those who lived as far away from that city, the ones who spent all their time on that land, spitting in the faces of those who were unable to pass their exams or simply make the journey. It needed to change. But I could do nothing about that now, so I would let my anger simmer. For now, I had to grow stronger, and protect the people from this district. I made my way through, and out of the village, into the wilds. I hoped that I would find the others soon, just so this mission could be over. The people here needed not more danger to worry about.

As the reinforcement that was sent to meet up with the recon Shinigami that were sent to try and find out what was attacking the districts got ever closer the scene of the actual beast was getting worse and worse by the moment. It would only take the shinigami known as Connor a small amount of time to find the scene of the battle given the convergence of shinigami and the massive amount of noise that was caused when the Vice Captain that had been likely the best chance of defeating the giant insect was punched sending him flying downwards through one of the huts in the district and smashing against the hard ground causing a crater.

The giant insect beast landed on the same hut breaking through the dry wood with its simple weight. It landed on the hard ground inside of the hut easy enough. While it was only out of sight for a moment or two in the next instant the hut was blasted apart being reduced to splinters to reveal itself to the shinigami that were left to face it now. At the moment only the Shinigami known as Angel stood to face this beast down while the Shinigami Musu stayed in the back ready to heal Angel at a moments notice. Little did they know help was on the way.

[Arantima Kawada]

Arantima Was Shaken as he Stood up from the crater, His visage had changed as he wiped the blood from his lip and Streaked it through his Golden hair as he flipped his hair back out of his face. He Sounded manic and Violent as he roared out "Oh you little beast..  You had a chance while I was struggling to stay calm..  Now? Now I am Awakened.. Now I am Satsujin!! TENRYU SATSUJIN!! WATASHI WA ANATA NO NYUSATSU GA KONA NI NARU MADE ANATA O YOROKUBA SEMASU!!" His voice was like a Rippling Dragon through a storm. He was controlling his power before and now it just rages around, the Gravitational pressure completely disappearing from the space as he Rushes forward.

As He Starts to dash forward, 4 Spectral forms of Arantima filter out from his shoulders, Two on each side of himself.  They all run at Arantima's Top speed as Arantima's Hands are Suddenly Filled with Golden Blades. The Clones Do not Get a blade in hand  But this Advance looks daunting. Arantima and All four clones Suddenly Disappear from most views as he Flash steps and the Clones Follow suit. The Four Clones appear first, Apparently able to travel much faster than Arantima himself (4000 speed during Shunpo Vs Arantima's 2350). The Four Clones Appear Surrounding the Creature that hit Arantima And All Four Rear Back For a Harrowing Strike (540 Strength each). Their Eight total Fists targeting a different part of the creatures body each to keep it off it's toes as Arantima's true body appears Several feet above the Creature Golden shining blades in hand as he begins to free fall into a spin. "Way of the winding dragon strike Number One. Falling Claw!" He Calls out as he tucks down into a tight ball and spins rapidly The blades Whirring about him like a Blender, hoping to strike down hard onto the confused beast (705 Strength)

[Angel]

To put it simply, Angel didn’t want to get involved in a mess like this. Taking Mushina with her, the Shinigami would stop off at an entirely different street, looking back. “That...thing.” Angel had grown stronger over a period of time, and with this new bone weapon of hers, it’s been rather useful now hasn’t it? Looking over the horizon, Angel didn’t exactly feel safe dealing with a thread like the one she had just seen. However, it was at this point that she felt she didn’t have a choice but to face whatever that disturbance was. It was quite literally her job to do so. With that, she hopped from the rooftop, soaring overhead before stopping back at the apparent threat. However, it seemed that the other Shinigami...had it under control while he was in a mad frenzy. Surely, the beast would be taken care of, dead, done with.

However, in assurance, Angel focused her reiatsu and chanted from the top of the roof, an incantation for a more powerful Bakudo of hers. She’d say it rapidly under her breath, and didn’t cast it. There was no guarantee that the bug like being would be dead. However, in the event that it wasn’t...well, then she’d be ready. There was little for her to do at this moment other than wait for the conclusion of the battle that seemingly took the Rukongai by storm. She had to raise her right sleeve up to shield her from the incredible force of the Shinigami before her. He must have been rather powerful. However, for now, she was an observer, not a combatant.

She observed his fascinating duplication and his incredible rise in power whilst he was released. “Disgusting…” She looked at the dead around her, and she realized that she had done nothing to stop that. Disgusting indeed. “You know...you could always ask me to help you!~ I can take care of everything.” With a cold glare, she looked inward before speaking in a dark and growly voice. “Urusai! Don’t you dare talk to me.” There was a chuckle before the spirit that dwelled within her sword called to her. “Touchy today I see. Oh well…”

Angel in that moment drew her bone sword, not wanting to touch the abomination that was the true blade. The cursed blade on her right side represented her supposedly. Yet, she could not help but reject it, reject it farther and farther away from herself. The bone blade was drawn, held in her right hand as she was ready to cast with her left. “Victory or death Angel. Victory or death. Remember this the next time I call to you.” She focused instead on the battle intently as she ignored the bastard spirit. Daraku no Tenshi...he was a nuisance.

Prepared to cast Bakudo #63: Sajosabaku

The Vice Captain that had been flung down through the building it appeared possessed more durability along with the will to survive then most would have expecting. The insect Beast wasn't the only one to remain standing after the collapse of the building and now it seemed that the Vice Captain was going to give this battle everything that he had in order to stop this Beast from attacking and killing the souls of the Ruckongai. It was apparent that he had released his zanpakuto now as he screamed at the top of his lungs causing the Beast to turn once again and gaze upon him.

Although anyone looking on the Vice Captain would be able to see the difference between what he had been and what he was now as astronomical the insect made no such reaction. It simply continued to stare at him as he began to charge towards it. It wasn't until the four golden clones of the Vice Captain appeared that the insect began to move towards them all as well. However, when the clones and Vice Captain disappeared the insect stopped only to be hit a moment later on all sides. The heavy thick armor body of the insect cracked and broke by the punches of the clones. Green goo like blood seeped from behind the armor down the arms of the clones as the insect screamed in pain.

It looked like the insect had met its match as its scream grew louder and louder until the volume of it would start to actually cause everyone in the area pain. For the Vice Captain as he descended downwards it would feel like a blade was being shoved into his head from his ears. The arms would rise at a speed of 4000 striking with the full force of the insect against the heads of two clones. The insect had swung its arms executing Shunpo Karin in an attempt to smash the things around it dead. However, if the Vice Captain continued downwards the insect's scream would be cut short along with the rest of it. That though wouldn't be the end of things as only a few moments later they'd hear a different shriek of terror coming from a few blocks away.

The Screeching Filled Arantima's Ears and he simply closed his eyes as he unleashed a roar of his own, unheard by anyone even himself even though he let is loose as loud as he could he could not overpower the beast below him.  The Roar was of rage as The Force controlling his Body did not CARE that his own head was pounding with the sound or that his ears had begun to bleed. Arantima could only watch, trapped within his own body as Tenryu Controlled him like a puppet, unleashing the Rage of heaven on His enemies with a power that Arantima could only see as insane. The Strength and Resolve of Tenryu was immense, And His Own body was the conduit for it.

Tenryu did not care about the pain, he bit through it and When he came down upon The beast below him the golden blades he held came down in a Horrid pincer. Aiming the pierce the creature through the heart and brain, then twisting the head completely off if possible. The Clones that took those Intensely Fast Strikes Were knocked back, they however were VERY durable and taking only enough time to Shake their heads clear they looked about as they heard the screaming coming from elsewhere. They seemed to want to move but the four clones all stared at Arantima's body, waiting for him to move. Arantima Moved Slowly, holding himself aloft with the blade embedded int he beasts chest, lowering himself deathly slow before kicking the beast over and off his heavenly sword.

Arantima's Eyes Went Not to the Screams but Toward Angel, A Dark Sinister Smirk crossing his lips. "Come with me Little Shinigami! Arantima May have need of you when I am done with his form!" At that Arantima and his Clones Began to run off towards the screaming, before he and then the clones Disappear using Shunpo to carry them towards The screams. Arantima Sat within the Temple of his inner world, watching the Outside world through his own eyes but not being in control of his body and being unable to speak.  It was a Hellish experience, But he could also feel every blow to him.. And his own ears bled with the ringing of the beasts shriek.

The shinigami weren't moving as fast as many would have expected from all of their training. The numbers of them may be slightly higher than normal, but that didn't seem to be of any use when different parts of the Ruckongai district were in trouble. The large insect Beast had been killed only a few moments ago and yet now little more than half a mile away from that spot came the scream of more citizens. Arantima was quick to get under way yet the others seemed to still be in shock by the might of the two colliding forces that were the Vice Captain and the Beast.

As they all waited though another of the same Beast one that looked so identical they may believe it to be a clone once they spot it was moving through the street. A street nearly as covered in blood and corpses as the one that they were currently standing in. Citizens running away from the beast only to be grabbed from behind and have their bodies torn apart like a piece of wet paper. This Beast wasn't here for any other reason it seemed than to simply kill those that the shinigami were suppose to be protecting. So what was going to happen when all of the citizens were slaughtered? Would the Beast keep going inwards to the next district and kill all of those citizens as well? Hopefully the Shinigami could stop it before they got the chance to find out.

With her attempt at offense stopped and looking around to see the level of carnage that surrounded her, it was clear to Musuhina that she wasn't going to be much help if she kept jumping into combat against The Beast like she did before. She had a feeling that she likely end up either dead or temporarily and severely mangled, making her pretty much useless in the areas that she had much more experience in. So she decided to follow Angel's advice and stay back and let the rest of them handle the fighting.

As the other Shinigami fought against the monster she would do her best to stay out of The Beast's line of sight while searching for potential survivors. Over the course of the fight, she'd managed to find an old man huddled together with a small family whose child was suffering from a broken leg and a sprained wrist. After patching him up with her healing aura, she told them to move back three districts at the least before sending them off to safety and continuing her search for any others. As she did this she felt a large shift in power along with Vice Captain Greaves' release. It was enough to give her pause for thought on her own ambitions for her squad. She'd wondered that if this is what a Vice Captain's strength could be then how powerful was a Captain expected to be?

As this train of thought ran it's course through her mind, she continued rummaging through broken shacks and splintered boards only to find at least one other person. He a young man who was practically on death's door with an opened up stomach and a missing arm along with losing a lot of blood fast. As Musuhina started healing him, he slowly faded in and out of consciousness, constantly fighting to stay alive as she sealed the wound on his severed arm. Soon after, Musuhina would seal up his stomach, causing him to be stable again. Much to her relief.

She would then carry him off to the neighboring district, putting him with the care of it's residents after telling them to move back before returning to the sight of the battle. By the time she returned, The Beast was dead while another seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. She could even see what is was doing, spreading death everywhere it went, taking entire people and ripping them apart like a sadistic child. Needless to say, Musuhina was enraged at it's display. She was tired of the destruction it was causing, believing that it had barely a sliver of good buried deep inside if it had any left at all. They had to put this rabid monster down before things could get any worse, and Musuhina would gladly follow the rest into battle to do what she could to see it through.
