Technique Name: [Cutback: Assault]
Class: [1]
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Cutback]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [All Races]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):
Traditional cutback is triggered by a physical strike from a spiritually inferior source. Among those with immense spiritual pressure it is a useful defense. This technique converts that same cutback into an offense. The user gathers all of their spiritual energy at their core before releasing it outward with a burst. An invisible wave bursts outward with a speed and force of 600, pushing back everything in its path. It functions like a larger Martial Discipline: Ken to all those around. The user may choose to spend an additional reiatsu to increase the range of the wave. At its lowest range, the wave will travel 200 meters in every direction. If the user doubles the cost, this range will also double to 400 meters in every direction. But get this. If the cost is TRIPLED, the radius will also triple to a whopping 800 meters.
However, the real effect of the technique only kicks in when the wave makes contact with any individual. If the difference in spiritual pressure between the user and target is great enough, this technique will automatically inflict the same damage they would face had they triggered cutback. This property is what makes Cutback: Assault truly deadly.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Insert Below]
Charge reiatsu and release it.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
This technique costs 300 reiatsu to use, and it must be mastered before employed in battle. It may only be activated once every 3 posts, and while it’s on cooldown, the user loses access to natural cutback. However, that is hardly the most serious drawback. As this technique causes the sudden output of such a large amount of energy, it puts a heavy strain on the body, worsening all injuries the user suffered prior to activation. When used the first time, if the user has any deep lacerations or stab injuries, they will begin to bleed profusely, giving them 5 posts before they lose consciousness. When used the second time, even if the user only had thin cuts, these will widen and deepen as blood rapidly escapes them, giving the user 5 posts before they pass out from blood loss. After employed a third time, even if the user is completely unharmed, their nose and eyes will begin bleeding. In fact, their internal organs would be struggling to function as the strain of a third Cutback: Assault also caused them hemorrhage. The internal bleeding would cause the user to pass out in 5 posts after activating the technique.

Technique Name: [Vita Sollertia: Telum]
Class: [2]
Technique Type: [Vita Sollertia]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [Rogues]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Shinigami of Soul Society have Soul Projection to manifest their zanpakuto as other weapons or even summon a physical form of their zanapkuto spirit. Vita Sollertia: Parasitus is the Rogue equivalent. Most bakkoto do not appear as a weapon in the sealed state, but this technique remedies that flaw. The user may create summon weapon that would be treated as the sealed state of their bakkoto. The exact appearance of this weapon is up to the user.
More complex weapons cost more reiatsu and take more focus to create. For this reason, it’s simplest to create weapons that the user is already familiar with. It is impossible to create weapons one has never seen before. The user may only create a weapon in which they have invested skill points into, although points in crafting allows the user to make any weapon they desire. The cost system works the same as that of Soul Projection. A knife costs 25 reiatsu. A sword, axe or spear costs 50 reiatsu. A firearm costs 100 reiatsu. A grenade costs 150 reiatsu. A rocket launcher costs 200 reiatsu. A car or vehicle costs 250 reiatsu.
Here’s where things get interesting. Now, the user can manifest the parasitic spirit of their bakkoto. By paying a cost of 400 reiatsu and life force, one can call upon their bakkoto to take on a physical form. The exact appearance of the bakkoto is up to the user, although it cannot resemble a human. The bakkoto is a very animalistic creature, and so it will take on a more wild or demonic form. The parasite will have a speed and strength of 800. The user may choose to either determine certain targets for the parasitic weapon to pursue or do the opposite and specify individuals that it may not hurt, thus setting it on a destructive rampage toward its targets. It possesses 150 instinct and senses and retains the durability of a sealed release weapon. Bakkoto are not sentient like zanpakuto spirit, so while they will respond to simple mental commands, they do not communicate back. The bakkoto’s main goal is destruction. This is what sets Telum apart from Soul Projection. The Shinigami may call upon their intelligent zanpakuto spirits for aid, while rogues can instead release a monster into the world to wreck havoc on their behalf.
How to use technique (How is it activated?):
Pay the cost and activate it to summon your weapon near you.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
Other than reiatsu and life force costs, there are other drawbacks to Vita Sollertia: Telum. If the parasite the user creates is destroyed, the rogue’s release will immediately shut down and they will not have access to their bakkoto for a three post, leaving them vulnerable and release-less in that time. Furthermore, the parasitic spirit can only survive outside the user for 8 posts. Before the 8 posts are over, the parasite must return to the user and merge with them once more. If the bakkoto fails to do so fater the post duration ends, the user will suffer the same drawbacks as though the parasite were killed. When learned and proficient with Telum, one can only manifest one physical form of their bakkoto. However, if this technique is mastered, the user can even call upon two identical manifestations of his bakkoto.

Technique Name: [Vita Sollertia: Verutum]
Class: [2]
Technique Type: [Vita Sollertia]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [Rogues]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
In Vita Sollertia: Telum, rogues are capable of projecting their bakkoto into physical weapons. Verutum is also a similar projection of one’s bakkoto, but its purpose is very different. Rather than creating weapons, Verutum creates projectiles with the durability and piercing strength of one’s bakkoto. Unlike Telum, however, it relies on both life force and reiatsu. The user may choose whether the projectile is pointed or blunt. If sharp, it will have a piercing strength equal to the user’s release. If blunt, instead it’s impact strength will be equal to their release’s piercing strength. At 100 reiatsu and life force, the result is either a thin bolt or a small golf-sized ball with the relative speed of a byakurai. At 150 reiatsu and life force, the projectile will be larger. It will either be a pointed blast as tall as a basketball player or a man-sized sphere, moving at about the speed of shakkoho. At 250 reiatsu and life force, one can launch a pointed blast or sphere as large as a freight train. Now, here’s where things get cool. By paying 600 reiatsu and life force, the projectile could be as large as a skyscraper. However, at this final stage, they’ll be much slower, only traveling at around 400 speed. Still, the destructive force of its impact is detrimental.
How to use technique (How is it activated?):
Pay the cost and activate. When learned or proficient, the user is only capable of casting the technique from one of their hands. However, when this technique is mastered, the user can get more creative with where they cast Verutum from in the same way that one can when mastering kido.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
The reiatsu and life force costs of Verutum are listed above. Because of the dual cost, Verutum is more taxing on one’s stamina than average techniques. Therefore, it’s much less spammable than kido. Lastly, Verutrum hurts to use. It scales in a manner that’s similar to the Technique Master drawback. Using the lowest level only feels like a sunburn on the arm that cast the technique. Activating second level feels more like a first degree burn. The third makes the user feel like they suffered like third or second degree burns. The last level of Verutum forces the user to experience the pain of a scorching hot metal searing into their skin, burning past it toward the muscle, nerves, and bone. It is safe to say that most are incapable of using the highest level of this technique more than once a thread.

Technique Name: [Vita Sollertia: Integumentum]
Class: [1]
Technique Type: [Vita Sollertia]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [Rogues]
Technique Element: [Metal]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
The bakkoto is a parasite that feeds off of its host. While it harms the rogue, it also needs to keep the rogue alive so that it may continue to live off them. This technique is one in which the bakkoto expands to create a defensive layer over the host, much like an armor. Wherever the bakkoto lays within the user, it will begin to expand. By paying 100 reiatsu and life force, the user may have the bakkoto form a partial armor of spiritual steel over the nearest region of the body. For example, if the bakkoto resides in the user’s arm, the armor will only stretch up to the user’s shoulder, protecting the full arm. If the bakkoto is in the user’s chest or abdomen, it will protect the user’s front and back, but not their head or limbs. And so on. However, if the user pays 300 reiatsu and life force, the armor will cover their entire body. It will move with the user so as not to inhibit them, creating a very flexible yet sturdy defense.
Despite being composed of spiritual steel, the armor is very in-tune with the user, almost like an exoskeleton of their body. It can even trigger cutback if a susceptible target strikes it. But that’s not its only special property. If the user anticipates a heavy impact, they may pay an additional cost of 200 reiatsu and life force to completely negate the force of that impact. This is only effective if the impact is not strong enough to break the armor. The purpose of property is for the armor to not only withstand the force of a punch but also prevent the user from being knocked into the air by that force.
How to use technique (How is it activated?):
Pay the cost an activate.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
This defense is anything but perfect. Firstly, the only gap in the armor are slots for the eyes. Still, with the user’s ears and nose covered, all their senses except for vision will be reduced to 50. Also, the armor greatly increases the stamina drain of fast-paced movement due to its extra weight. Without the armor, individuals could move at 300 speed without fatiguing, but now, that cap is reduced to just 200 speed. Moreso, it is still made of spiritual steel, so the armor as the same weaknesses as metal. It prone to overheating, so cooking the user within the armor is twice as easy. Furthermore, the conductive nature of the metal makes electricity or lightning-based attacks twice as effective against the target. Because the armor is an extension of the bakkoto, if it is broken, the user’s release will automatically end and they will not be able to release for another 3 posts. The armor lasts 5 posts before the user must refresh the cost.
