Training for Shunpo and TTP
Rafael moved throughout the tall grass of the wilderness looking for something to eat as he realized that now obtaining food was going to potentially be much easier. He had been wanderering throughout the wilderness of Soul Society since he had awoken up in this new world with a new body and a chance to live a different life. He had only been here for a few days and in that time had relied on what felt like natural instincts to hunt down animals, end them quickly and then feed on them in order for his own survival.
He didn't know how to start a fire or cook food so it was actually a very good thing that so far at least he hadn't gotten sick from eating raw meat. He didn't know why, but the sensation of blood and meat going down his throat was much more pleasing than it ever had been while he was a human. Still he didn't enjoy having to kill something else just so he could contiue to survive so while he knew it wasn't something he couldn't do he made sure to make it quick for his prey.
That though had been what got him into the situation that he was currently facing. He had gotten hunger roughly an hour ago and after some searching had been able to find a deer grazing in the tall grass. He had tried to approach it slowly while remaining as quiet as possible, but stealth despite his appearance wasn't something that he was all that great at employing. So the deer had realized that something was moving upon it and taken off. Rafael had no other choice than to chase after it and while it had taken him some time he had eventually gotten it.
Making sure to end it's life quickly he placed his paws on both sides of it's head and twisted with his full strength breaking it's neck causing it to die instantly. He didn't like the idea of causing it any type of pain so killing it prior to biting into it or anything like that was soemthing that helped him later when it actually came to eating another creature and dealing with the fact he had ended it's life. That's when things had taken a sudden shift in direction when Rafael was suddenly sent flying off of the deer with enoguh force that he actually felt pain in his right arm.
Crashing against the grass Rafael was quick to get back onto his feet and look towards the deer where he had been only a moment ago. What had now been standing over the deer was soemthing like him. Another creature that looked like an animal yet stood on the lower half of it's body. This one though was no cat it was a bore with long tusks and a huge body that while shorter than Rafael was much larger. "Sorry cat. Food is mine. Go get something else." The bore than grabbed ahold of the deer and in as single moment took a massive bite out of it's body.
Rafael hadn't met another creature like himself and wasn't really liking this first encounter as this new Beast just had taken his food which he had earned by force. Rafael wasn't normally one to fight someone else, but that food was his and he wasn't going to hand it over so easily. So rushing forward as fast as he could Rafael jumped a few feet away into the air raising his right knee upwards in an attempt to deliver a knee strike to the core of the bore with his full might. However, something strange happened as Rafael was nearly there and about to strike the bore it simply disappeared.
Rafael was suddenly looking at nothing in front of him, but grass so he turned around to see the bore standing a few feet to his right looking at him with what seemed to be arrogance. Rafael had no idea how he had managed to evade so quickly especially given his size, but still wished to have his meal so charged once again this time getting right up close to the bore and then using his left leg to kick at the right ankle of the bore. It seemed to happen yet again though this time differently as the bore didn't completely disappear from vision yet moved backwards so fast that Rafael's foot hit nothing, but air.
This didn't seem possible how was this bore evading him and doing it so easily not to mention at such speeds. Rafael had no clue and now was more captivated by this than getting his meal back from the bore. "How are you moving so fast?" asked Rafael looking at the bore who began to chuckle. "Kitty not even learned how to make himself go fast. Fine me show you how if you stop being such a pain and let me eat." Although Rafael had gotten the deer for himself he felt that he had to know how this bore was moving so quickly. "Me let you keep if you show me how to move fast like that."
Over the next few hours Rafael was taught how to channel his reiatsu from his body into a specific place in his body and then use it to achieve feats normally impossible even in his new body. While the bore only really was keeping up his end of the deal by teaching Rafael he still was being quite annoying with his constant arrogance. After awhile though the masisve black panther managed to move from one position to the next in an instant covering on average about ten feet in distance. This was definitely something that Rafael was going to enjoy and just like that it was starting to get dark and he had yet to find food for himself. The bore without saying good bye or telling Rafael anything was suddenly just gone leaving Rafael to find the next meal.
