Is This Someone I should Fight?

Tsukuyomi watched as Jak turned quickly and then to Tsukuyomi's surprise he was fast enough to jump up off the ground just as the blue fire of Honshitsu was enclosing on him. It looked like Jak might get out of the way of the fire just in time when Tsukuyomi saw the contact and heard the sound of Jak growling from the burns that were just inflicted upon his foot. Tsukuyomi was experiencing his own pain at the mokment from the impact of Jak's body against his shins which in all honesty were making movement difficult.

Jak was flying in the air above the ground now and Tsukuyomi watched as the five white moons rotated around him new reiatsu orbs form in Jak's hands. Jak's Saisei Oni transformation was definitely powerful and while Tsukuyomi wasn't actually sure which of the abilities that Jak was using was from his Saisei Oni he knew that the body change that his release had put him through was definitely powerful. The addition of new arms was something that Tsukuyomi knew would benefit him well, but alas such a thing was granted to him by his own Saisei Oni.

The crimson colored orbs that Jak just focused in his hands were thrown down towards him and Tsukuyomi knew that Jak was able to utilize distance combat just as well if not better than he could himself. Thankfully as the crimson orbs got close to him the positions of them started to change as the white moons influence began to pull on them and bring them around as if each crimson orb was in the moons orbit. When Jak would make his move to enclose the orbs on Tsukuyomi he'd find that his orbs wouldn't obey him. They couldn't get away from the influence of the white moons.

"Nice try Jak."

Tsukuyomi spoke loud enough that even though Jak was a decent distance away and up in the air looking down on him he'd still be able to hear what he had said. What Jak would see though was a sight to see. The five moons that rotated around Tsukuyomi all had many of the red orbs that Jak had just fired off towards him rotating around them. Each moon almost had ten orbs of red rotating around them to the point that now Tsukuyomi was almost not visible with so much reiatsu around him. Even seeing the white of the moons would be difficult through all of the red moving around them all.

Tsukuyomi extended Mikoto and with that all five of the moons that had been around him that now had the red orbs that Jak had fired off rushed towards Jak at a speed of 500. Tsukuyomi hadn't been in a position where he had this much of an advantage over an enemy before, but he was sure that Jak would be able to handle this attack even if it was coming at him fast and the size of each orb of reiatsu was now around the same size as a beach volleyball. Making sure he didn't mess up though Tsukuyomi waved Mikoto and two new white moons came from her crescent and began to rotate around him as he watched the moons rush towards Jak.

Jak noticed that something was wrong while he was firing his barrage. He wasn't sure what exactly it was though, so he continued. It wasn't until he was trying to activate them did he notice that the orbs were now orbiting the moons that Tsuku had positioned around them. It seemed that he was trying to use Jak's own attack against him. Jak just smiled. He continued to hover in mid air watching as Tsuku decided to use those five moons offensively now. The moons were hurled at him incredibly fast, but Jak was not deterred. Jak watched the large bright red orbs approach him bracing his body for his next set of attacks. He wasn't going to even dodge.  

Bright blue flames erupted from Jak's body just before impact of the first moon. This would hide the activation from physical view at the very least. The moon would colide with the body of flames, but Jak would also use his strength to break right through both the moon itself and the spirit bolts orbiting it. Neither attack would be able to stand up to the intense heat of the flames. He would use the dust and other moons to hide his charge forward. He would just slam his way through the second moon and use his gauntlet blades to cut through the third and fourth. Explosions sounded all around him coming closer and closer to Tsukuyomi. 

Jak would burst through the final moon and make his final approach. "Got to do better than that!" he shouted slashing at Tsukuyomi with his right set of blades. The blades would cut into his body if they connected searing the surrounding flesh as they do, but he would be careful to not cut so deep that the wound would be life threatening. Yes he wanted to cause enough harm for the fight to still be real, but not so much that he is trying to kill his friend. If Tsuku did not avoid the blades, Jak would turn his hips the opposite direction putting his entire body into a lower body punch with his lower left fist. The hardened knuckles of his fist would no doubt seem to leav a fist impression in Tsuku's back if it landed.

If the shinigami avoided the attack however, Jak would turn to face him cupping his lower hands in a circle aiming at Tsukuyomi's current position. With a flick of his upper right hand. The ground below Tsuku would suddenly get super heated and a geyser of fire would erupt around him. Unless he avoided the attack, he would suffer severe burns both spiritual and physical. The flames would rise fifteen feet into the air scorching a ten foot circle of land completely black. Jak may not want to kill his friend, but he still wanted to win the fight. Sound of crackling fire could be heard as he turned to watch his Shinigami counter part. "Is that all you got!? he called.

Despite the fact that he could see his attack wasn't doing what he had been playing on it doing Jak continued to press his attack using the scarlet colored orbs of reiatsu as a missile type projectile that only seemed to get sucked in and rotate around the moons that had just been crafted thanks to Mikoto. As Tsukuyomi pressed his own attack now against Jak utilizing his own reiatsu as a potential threat against him Tsukuyomi watched carefully as Jak rushed the moons breaking them with his reiatsu and physical strength. He made short work of them and as he got closer Tsukuyomi began to study his movements, speed, strength and tactics even closer.

By the time Jak cut through the last moon Tsukuyomi focused his reiatsu into his feet and executed shunpo in order to evade his slashing melee attack. Tsukuyomi didn't move very far away despite being a master of shunpo and a very proficient employer of step techniques. He was currently fifteen feet to the right of where he had been standing. Looking at Jak position his hands Tsukuyomi could feel the ground beneath him beginning to rapidly heat up faster than Jak might have assumed thanks only due to Tsukuyomi's fairly heightened senses and instincts.

Swinging Mikoto downwards in a descending slash Tsukuyomi crafted yet another white moon that appeared from his zanpakuto only to smash into the ground beneath him. The moon dove a few inches into the ground. Tsukuyomi took the moment to step onto the new moon and jump into the air reaching an additional ten feet before he twisted his right wrist. A new moon would appear from the curve of Mikoto's body that her blade held allowing Tsukuyomi to actually suspend himself in the air now over fifteen feet high.

The fire geyser that Jak had been planning to use against Tsukuyomi broke through the ground yet only reached a few feet high before the gravitational pull of the moon brought it back down. The ground around the moon was burned to virtually nothing within moments until it looked like a sun was simply positioned there. This was the moment to strike out against Jak. Tsukuyomi knew that while the demonic release of Saisei oni was powerful it was with limitations. Grabbing Honshitsu and dragging it across the air horizontally he began to attack. Suddenly a small three foot long line of blue fire began to rush towards Jak. It looked like a rather weak attack until it reached a little more than half the distance between them both and it doubled in size.

Jak watched one attack after another fail. He glared at the shinigami hovering above him. His shinigami counter part decided to attack him now, with fire of all things. Jak was pretty confident in his fighting capabilities, and his overconfidence is only worsened in his demon form. He braced his feet his body was consumed in blue fire. The heat around them intensified due to the increased temperatures of Jak's fire. He covered his face with one set of arms, and the his chest, and stomach, with the other ready to take the attack full force. The attack would increase in size quickly, but it was too late to do anything about that. It was time to brace.

He grunted as the wave of fire hit him. The two flame sources clashed resulting in an explosion that covered Jak. The attack was not completly blocked, but the damage was minor compared what it could have been. While the smoke still concealed him. He focused all of his energy into his right arm. All the fire that surrounded him was focused on his arm, soon erupting brightly. Tsukuyomi would then hear him shouting something. "DRAGON! OF THE DEMON! FLAME!" This was one of the greatest fire attacks, that Jak was aware of. A dragon summoned out of hell itself. Out of the cloud of smoke, a dragon made of pure blue flame would rush at Tsukuyomi. 

The dragon was huge. It's head was the size of a two story house, and its ever expanding length was it quickly getting about fifty feet long. It looked like a serpentine dragon out of asian mythology. It roared out opening its maw out to consume the targeted half demon. 600 speed, and would bite down, and burn with a strength of 800. Once the dragon left his fist, Jak reverted back to his normal form instantly clutching his fist shouting out in pain. The pain was intense, like even his flesh would burn straight off his bones. He knelt down on one knee watching the dragon no doubt chase the shinigami. Instantly Jak was regretting this, but he couldn't use any of his hell techniques for a while yet.


Suit of Blue Fire -0, Dragon of the Darkness Flame -400 370/1690

Fifteen feet above the ground of the park standing upon one of the white moons that had been cast out by Mikoto only a moment ago that was the location of the Vice Captain of the Eleventh Division. Tsukuyomi watched now as the blue horizontal wave of blue fire from Honshitsu rushed towards Jak growing larger as it traveled. He could see a moment before the wave clashed with Jak that the human world counterpart cloaked himself in fire that fought against his own blue flames.

The next moment that followed was filled with a rather decent sized explosion from the two spiritual fire techniques. Tsukuyomi couldn't see what had happened now as smoke was concealing Jak. He was obviously used to combat as one of the Vice Captain of Soul Society not to mention the Eleventh Division. Still though not knowing just how harmed Jak could be now was problematic. Thankfully he didn't have to worry long though as he heard Jak shout the name of his next attack.

He was speaking of a dragon from Hell. Could he really use some sort of Hell technique? Tsukuyomi got his answer as a dragon of blue fire was formed from in front of Jak and began to rush towards him roaring threateningly at him. Tsukuyomi couldn't sense reiatsu and wasn't all that experienced with spiritual abilities beyond his own zanpakuto yet he could tell this dragon was the real deal. Could Jak no longer be holding back against him? If so had he pushed him to far or was Jak losing himself to his Saisei Oni like he did?

This dragon was MASSIVE! the size of it's head was more than twice his own size and even at first glance Tsukuyomi could see that this thing could swallow him easily leading to his more than likely incineration. He couldn't even see the rest of the dragon if there was more as it rushed towards him. He had to act quickly and as such he executed Shunpo to accelerate his speed as he leaped from the white moon. The only hope he had now was to outrun this attack.

Ove rthe cours eof the next few moments roughly thirty seconds Tsukuyomi would keep executing Shunpo whenever the dragon got close to him yet each one would only buy him another couple of moments. At the end of the cat and mouse chase Jak would hear the sound of the impact behind him. Tsukuyomi dropped from more than fifty feet above the ground hitting the ground behind Jak hard enough that all of the air in his lungs was knocked from him.

His legs were tired and already had started to bleed from executing so many step techniques in rapid succession. He wouldn't be able to get out of the way as easily now, but now should that dragon try to bite him now Jak would be harmed as well. So Tsukuyomi could only hope that Jak possessed the ability to cease this technique as he had seen that even his white moons couldn't effect them. One thing was for certain though, this sparring session had gotten a little out of hand.

The dragon roared, as its maw came down consuming the moon that the other nakabakki had produced with his zanpakuto. It knew immediatly that its prey had escaped him, and never stopped, as it turned to quickly press the attack. Going in for another pass. The Shinigami was fast, Jak was glad for that. He managed to stay one step ahead of the dragon, as they darted around the sky. Despite the hellish origin of the dragon, it looked rather graceful dancing in the air after his foe. Jak was keeping a close eye on the whole thing. It was no easy feat to control the dragon, and even then his hold over it was limited, and wouldn't last too long. 

Jak would hear a thud behind him. Tsukuyomi was bleeding from his legs, and it was obvious that he was gassed. The sudden rise in temperature was the only thing that reminded Jak of the approaching dragon. He looked up, then back at the prone shinigami. "Damn it that idiot." He said trying to figure out what to do. He wasn't sure if the dragon would divert its path fast enough for them to not be harmed. Jak thrust his hand out at Tsukuyomi and fired a spirit bolt at him. It was aimed more at the ground than him. Though not a direct hit, it would still most likely hurt, but he would fly away from Jak, who was already utilizing movement to gain some distance telling the dragon to pull up. 

The space created was just enough for the dragon to sail by arcing its serpentine body up over the grass a huge gust of wind following it. He commanded it to stand down for now. He was angry. Yes he unleashed it while under the effects of his Saisei Oni, but he was damn sure that Tsukuyomi would have been able to do something about it, or just concede the fight. No. He had to pull that stunt. Jak walked up to the shinigami lifting him by the front of his robes. "Are you stupid, or just looking to get yourself killed!?" He shouted at the man. "If that been a real battle, you would have been a charred outline right now!" He started shaking the man slightly. 

Jak was still panting heavily. It was a lot for him to keep the air in his lungs long enough for him to shout. The dragon had settled itself a few yards behind its temporary master. It watched them with a sort of amusement. Jak was too angry to simply dismiss the dragon right now. He wanted to know what the shinigami would have done if this was for real. If their battle was to the death. There was clear concern in Jak's voice and eyes. He wanted to punch the shinigami. At this range he could. He also wanted to know. Did Tsukuyomi not trust him enough for Jak to not kill him? Jak's grip tightened. The muscles in his arms were screaming, but he didn't listen to them. He was only listening to Tsukuyomi.

Landing behind Jak in order to try and stop the dragon of fire that had been chasing after him over the last few moments. He could feel his legs growing colder as his blood seeped from the lacerations that now riddled them both. He had been expecting Jak to end the technique believing that if he did not then he too would be in danger of the dragon. Not to mention the park was likely to suffer massive damage form the thing even being here.

To his surprise Jak did not call off the dragon. Instead he saw the dude extend his hand out and one of the reiatsu orbs that he had fired off earlier form. Thankfully Tsukuyomi wasn't the type to walk into a situation with no hope. His left hand had been against the grass from the start and now as Jak fired his reiatsu orb Tsukuyomi would vanish again. That technique however it was done was really a pain.

He may not have been able to use his legs very well anymore, but his hands were a different story. He really did have to thank his Captain one of these days for instilling the importance of learning how to execute shunpo on his hands. He didn't go very far though only putting a few feet of distance to make it look like the blast had sent him flying. Tsukuyomi wasn't the best at projectiles, but based on how Jak had aimed his hand that's what it looked like he wanted to happen.

Trying to get up on his feet Tsukuyomi could feel weakness and pain spread across his lower body only for Jak to rush over and pick him up by his uniform. Jak was angry surprisingly blaming Tsukuyomi for well reacting to his dragon. "If this had been a real battle I would have been forced to either absorb your dragon or kill you. This isn't though. If I did either than the area we're in would likely be destroyed."

"And there is the famous Shinigami arrogance that everybody loves." Jak growled pushing Tsukuyomi back onto his own feet. He turned his back to the other Nakkabaki and dismissed the hell fire dragon with a wave of his chained hand. Within seconds, the serpentine mass of flames dissipated back into it's own plane of existence leaving behind only a large patch of scorched grass where it was laying. Jak's body was tired, and his legs were shaking with all the extra strain being angry was putting on his body on top of all the fighting that it had just been through. His mood seems to be all over the place when it comes to Tsukuyomi. One minute he is friendly enough, and the next pissed off to hell. Wouldn't be much of an issue if he wasn't a shinigami.

"We Shinigami can tend to be arrogant that much is a fact, but my statement is less my own and more a simply assumption that will never be tested." Tsukuyomi was trying to get back up onto his feet although the blood seeping from the open wounds spread across them both was fighting him. He could feel the warmth of his legs vanishing almost as fast as the blood did. He was definitely not in any condition to continue especially not with any sort of movement techniques. No he'd have to rest for a moment and get ready to visit Division Four.

Sitting himself back down the young man pulled a roll of bandages from behind his belts. He had learned very early on that he would suffer wounds and carrying even a small amount was always a good idea. So over the course of the next few minutes while he hoped to continue speaking with Jak he was start to wrap the wounds across his legs. "I know it may sound . . well wrong, but you're kinda lucky. You seem to be able to continue your powers. Did someone teach you how?" Tsukuyomi hadn't ever really spoken to another Nakabbaki about being able to control their Saisei Oni yet Jak seemed to be able to do so, while he had never been so fortunate.

Jak didn't look at his fellow nakkibakki. He wasn't really in the mood to talk, but his good nature, reinforced by his mother's loving care, kept him from just leaving the injured man. He hated that about him sometimes. He sighed and lowered himself to the ground. He bent his knees into a squat, and rolled back onto the ground. Once his shoulders touched, he pushed his legs to the ground, using the momentum to lift his upper body up off the ground. He stared out at the trees that surrounded him for a moment listening to Tsukuyomi's questions. If there was just one thing keeping the shinigami in any of his good graces, it was the fact that they were alike in at least one way.

Jak just laughed for a bit. It was a dry, sarcastic laugh. It took a moment to regain his breath, but once he did he answered the question. "I had only one teacher when it came to these powers." he started. "Pain was the only teacher i had when trying to control them. After a couple times getting smacked around, even a wild beast will understand when its unwise to charge it." It was a rather round about way of explaining it, but none the less true. "Pain is the best teacher in all things, and for this no different. Eventually you learn your limits through necessity, and a decent sense of self preservation." He looked at Tsuku finally. "I can understand why you wouldn't be able to learn those limits. Your kind tend to kill anything that threatens your puristic beliefs." There was still an edge of venom to his voice, even if it wasn't directed directly at the boy.

Laying on the ground to catch his breath Tsukuyomi had been hoping for a better conversation with another Nakkabakki yet Jak seemed to definitely hold him in regards as a Shinigami instead of someone like him. He couldn’t really blame him with what Jak had told him about his past yet all the same he could just hope that one day Jak would be able to look past everything and see him as an ally. He was quick to get back on his feet and Tsukuyomi could tell that he wanted to wander off to wherever in Karakura he called his home.

Getting back onto his own feet Tsukuyomi could really tell that Jak wasn’t going to back down on his belief of the Shinigami and hold him in a negative regard thus. So he nodded his head slightly. “I’ve experienced my own pain as well, Jak. Hopefully I’ll see you around at some point. If we’re ever on a battlefield together in the future do your best not to shoot me.” Tsukuyomi attempted a bit of humor, something he wasn’t known for usually. Afterwards it only took a moment for a senkaimon gate to appear, open wide and then step through back to Soul Society.
