Tsukuyomi walked through the Senkaimon gate that connected Soul Society to the Human World onto the roof of a café located in Karakura Town. This town was so active in Hollow attacks and appearance that Tsukuyomi had been allowed to come for the day even though it wasn't the job of his Division. However, it wasn't because of the Hollows that he had gotten approval. No there was another scourge to Soul Society that was most active in Karakura Town than any other place in the Human World. Rogues, the traitors of Soul Society or the users of the illegal spiritual creatures known as Bakkoto either way it made no difference and then were targets for the Seventh Division of the Gotei Thirteen and more important right now of Tsukuyomi.
Although he had only just arrived in Karakura Town Tsukuyomi felt that surveying the area that he had arrived in would be best fighting against the emotions that surged inside of his heart to simply go to the High School and wait for Vesta to get out of her classes. He hadn't seen her in awhile and that was the most powerful thing on his mind no matter what type of assignment he was undergoing. In all honesty it was actually a pain to feel something so powerful for someone so far away yet Tsukuyomi not once ever regretted his feelings even if expressing them to her was rather difficult.
Some time past which was filled up with Tsukuyomi jumped from roof top to roof top surveying the area in the sky and the streets below while constantly listening to what was happening around the area. Not only that, but Tsukuyomi had realized that due to his inability to sense reiatsu he had to search for the presence of spiritual individuals by their aura and not their reiatsu. So far though he hadn't been able to pick up on anything. That was until he felt the evil aura of a Hollow coming from a fair distance away somewhere in Karakura.
He had to find the location even if he wasn't the one assigned to Karakura to deal with Hollows he was still a Shinigami with a zanpakuto that could purify the souls of not only the Hollow, but all of those that had been devoured by the Hollow. He took off searching for the location of the Hollow however it took a few minutes and when Tsukuyomi finally found the location of the Hollow he had to witness the Hollow vanishing from what looked to be a small red orb of reiatsu that had been sent flying up into the air from the ground below.
Tsukuyomi stopped on the roof edge of a building just below where the Hollow had been up in the air when it had been killed. "God damn it I let them all down." Tsukuyomi felt a dagger in her heart at the thought that perhaps dozens if not hundreds of innocent souls that had been devoured were now gone forever. He scanned the streets below for any sign of the individual that had just dealt the killing blow to the Hollow that Tsukuyomi had been seeking out. It took a few moments of constantly looking down at the few people walking the streets during the middle of the day when his eyes stopped on a young man with white hair and tan skin.
Tsukuyomi would jump from the roof of the building he had been on down to the streets below only a few feet in front of the individual that was now a suspect in a case of interfering with Soul Society business and the endangerment of the spiritual world by killing that Hollow. Tsukuyomi though had realized this individual was more than likely the culprit not by his skin tone or his hair color or the muscle definition on his arms that gave Tsukuyomi a hint that he might just have developed his strength alongside his spiritual strength. No none of that had been why Tsukuyomi picked him out from the dozen or so others on the street. It was the black chain wrapped around his arm and nothing else.
"You stop for a moment. That Hollow you just killed could have had dozens if not hundreds of other souls inside of it that you just erased. What's your name and what race to you belong too?" Tsukuyomi spoke to the guy that looked to be around his own age yet was far taller than him with a much more broad build and more muscular developed upper body. Tsukuyomi already knew that this guy wasn't a Bount nor was he a Fullbringer. In all honesty Tsukuyomi already knew that he was a Nakkabakki like himself yet he chose not to hide it for reasons that Tsukuyomi couldn't understand. He didn't really want this to turn into an argument or a battle yet he had a feeling in his gut that such a thing was inevitable.
Jak dodged to the left leaning his body right under the claws of a hollow. Jak could feel the air brush his hair at the near miss. This hollow wasn't like the usual small fries that Jak usually fought. This one was an adjuchas, a highly evolved hollow. It was smaller than most of the other hollow types, but that did not mean that it was any less powerful. Jak smiled backing off from the hollow as it turned around. It seemed that the hollow was having just as much fun fighting as Jak was. It was times like these that Jak was almost sad about having to kill them. He would have liked to be able to fight this hollow again once they both have gotten stronger.
The white haired young man stared down the hollow with his blood red eyes. Jak wore a well kept, black leather vest. He never bothered to wear a shirt under it leaving his bear muscular chest exposed underneath it. His abs looked like you can grind meat on. He wore a simple pair of dirty, torn, blue jeans. He garden's a lot and works with plants, so its to be expected that his pants would be well worn and dirty. Jak wore a pair of black and blue sandals on his feet no matter what time of year it is. It could be the heat of summer or the dead of winter, it didn't mater to Jak. He also wore a pair of fingerless gloves with studded knuckles.
He had always been looked at as a freak all his life. His white hair and his red eyes were part of the problem, but the biggest thing people point out about the young man was his right arm. It wa a little bit larger than his left arm, but the most noticable thing about it was the color. It was an angry red color like it had suffered heavy burns. If one had the courage to touch his arm, or foolish enough to get hit by it, it was also abnormally warm to the touch. It also had a long heavy, black chain snaking its way from his wrist all the way up to his shoulder. From constant contact with his arm, the chain was also warm to the touch, and could get hotter it he gets angry.
The hollow across from him was a piece of works also. Its was humanoid in shape like most adjuchas would be at this level. It was a full two feet taller than Jak making it a towering eight feet tall. He was had white armor all over his body. It made him look like some sort of demon from an anime. Large spikes protruded from his massive shoulders and smaller ones came out from his elbows and knees. His tail was long and muscular with a white bony club at the end. His mask was more like several other masks stacked on top of each other. It looked like one of those totem poles balanced on the massive neck and shoulders of the hollow. Each mask had a large grin on its face as they all showed the same expression.
Jak was sweating from the exertion of the fight. His chest heaved slightly as his lungs struggled to push oxygen through his body. His lungs were starting to feel like they were full of glass. His white hair was sicking to his forehead. The sweat stinging his eyes. His heart was beating fast struggling to pump the blood through his body with all the exertion that he was doing. They had been fighting for a while now. Most fights with hollows would only last for a couple minutes. They were mostly mindless, and attacked on instinct like wild animals, but this one was smarter. He fight more like an intelligent person might. He was really making Jak work for the win.
That didn't mean that Jak was the only one struggling. The hollow had taken as much damage as Jak had, as they traded blows, threw each other across the street, and threw energy blasts at each other. It seemed that they were equal in almost everything. They were both stubborn fighters. Instead of turning tail and living to fight another day, they were both wanting to see this fight through. They both inched to each other before charging in at inhuman speeds. Punches met before they could find their target. Kicks blocked by forearms. The two backed off before the exchange could drag on long since no one was getting an advantage at this rate.
"Your not...bad...for a hollow..." He said in between heavy breaths. He tried to force his breathing to slow. His master taught him to always keep his breaths deep and slow no matter how hard he was fighting. It would allow him to get more air to his lungs at once than just panting like a dog. The hollow laughed a deep growing laugh. "You as well. You are no normal human for sure. Most shinigami I have devoured haven't given my this much fun." It was Jak's turn to laugh. "Yeah they don't tend to be very fun to fight. Unfortunately I think its time to end this. Lets do it with one last attack. Winner takes all." He smiled his fist starting to ignite in flames.
The hollow tilted his head a bit confused but agreed. A long bone like blade sprang from his forearm pointing it at Jak. "Very well. One more clash." They backed up a little more giving each other plenty of room to charge. It was like a western stand off. The cool breeze slightly cooling the two combatants. They charged at the same time yelling at the top of their lungs. Jak pulled his fist back, which was completely engulfed in flames. The hollow pulled his blade back and thrust it out just before they met. It missed Jak's head cutting his cheek slightly. Jak ignored it planting his fist dead center where the hollow's sternum would be shouting "HELL-FIRE PUNCH!"
A large explosion engulfed the two. Jak took the explosion not phased by it at all. The hollow also ate the punch without a sound. It was not clear if the punch did its job or if it did anything at all. The smoke cleared revealing that the hollow had a large hole in its chest, other than his hollow hole of course. The hollow slumped against the half demon who held it up out of respect for it. Sure it killed who knows how many people to get to this point, but it had intelligence, he would not treat it like he would its more animistic brethren. "Well done, my only regret...is that we can not fight again." The hollow said as it started to fade away. Maybe some of the humanity had returned to it once it started to die. Who knew.
Jak sighed once the weight of the hollow was physically off him. He was saddened a little. The hollow was right about one thing. They would never be able to fight again. A worthy re-match was forever out of his grasp. Jak shook his head. He was a hollow. It needed to be done. He could feel another source of spiritual energy heading his direction. He looked to the roof time and saw a shinigami who was in the process of yelling at him. "You stop for a moment. That Hollow you just killed could have had dozens if not hundreds of other souls inside of it that you just erased. What's your name and what race to you belong too?"
Jak glared at the shinigami. He was here doing his job for him and that was the attitude he got? Well it wasn't like he get that sort of attitude in his day to day life. Jak walked over to the shinigami keeping a fair amount of distance from him just in case he turned hostile. "My name is Jak, a simple mod-soul doing your job for you." He said with a bitter undertone in his voice. If anyone asked what his race was, he would always answer that he was a mod-soul. "And what the hell do you mean by erased souls?" This was the first time he had heard of this. He had been killing hollows left and right his entire adult life. He never considered what happened to them after they died.

Tsukuyomi had only just found and began to speak to the male individual around his own age that he believed to have killed off the Hollow that had been here only a minute ago. Immediately though Tsukuyomi could feel the tension that was built between them after he had addressed him. The tan skinned white haired Nakkabakki that was now little more than five feet in front of him was already sending a glare of irritated towards Tsukuyomi. The young long black haired Kawada could easily tell that right from the get go this interaction and meeting between Nakkabakki wasn't going well.
The other Nakkabakki in front of him though didn't seem to be opposed to speaking though as he introduced himself as Jak a Mod Soul. After that point though it seemed that his pride or at least distaste for Shinigami was taking the lead in the conversation. He felt that he had done the job of a Shinigami while the Shinigami hadn't been able to do it themselves. However, he was very wrong and Tsukuyomi it seemed was going to have to inform him of being wrong. Jak asked what Tsukuyomi meant by erased souls.
"Well I guess you need to be informed before you realize what you just did was actually wrong. Since no one has told you in the past what happens to a Hollow if it's not killed by a zanpakuto I don't blame you for any up until now. To make it perfectly simple a unlike most souls can contain more souls within itself. Everyone that a Hollow devours is kept inside of the Hollow. When a Hollow is killed by a Shinigami using their zanpakuto the Hollow's soul and all of the souls that the Hollow has devoured are all purified and move on to Soul Society. When a Hollow is killed in most other ways all of the souls are simply destroyed."
Tsukuyomi finished the short explanation of how Hollows worked in regards to the souls that they could hold within themselves and why he seemed mad upon finding Jak to have already killed the Hollow. It was saddening to know that dozens or perhaps thousands of souls would never have another chance to live a different life now. "I'm more curious though why you hide what you really are verbally yet make no effort to do so physically. Do you really think no one would figure out you're a Nakkabakki Jak with your arm out like that?" Tsukuyomi asked wondering and waiting to see how Jak was going to react to finding out Tsukuyomi already knew he wasn't a normal Mod Soul like he had claimed.
The first reaction Jak would have to the shinigami was to ignore everything he said. The shinigami always twist everything to make it seem that they were in the right. Jak's fist clenched tighter. But what if he was right? What if all he has been doing was was destroying innocent souls that were devoured by the hollows. How many thousands of souls were on his hands? He looked down at his bright red fist. Was everything he was doing wrong? Was he causing more harm than good? No. He couldn't think like that. He had protected thousands more lives from the hollows by destroying the ones that he had fought. If that meant that he was sinning, than he will welcome hell with open arms.
"I'm more curious though why you hide what you really are verbally yet make no effort to do so physically. Do you really think no one would figure out you're a Nakkabakki Jak with your arm out like that?" Jak returned his gaze at the shinigami. It seemed that he knew what he really was. Well it made no difference to Jak. He had been judged by his arm all his life. He may have been ashamed of it when he was a child, but now he didn't give a damn what anyone thought about it. It was a part of him no matter if he liked it or not. His mother had told him time and again to never be ashamed about who he was. To embrace everything he was no matter what. To some extent he did that.
"I don't hide it because I don't care about it." He stated plainly. "This arm, and my akki heritage is a part of me regardless if I like it or not. I am the only one who decided what I am, and I decided long ago that I am a mod soul, just like my mother was." He glared at the shinigami crossing his arms in front of his chest. "What is it to you anyway?" He asked shifting his weight to his back foot. "What is it to a shinigami what I decide to be?" He waited for the shinigami to answer his question. There had to be a reason for him to want to know. If he wasn't going to tell him, than they were going to have trouble. Hell they might have trouble either way.

Tsukuyomi continued to stand in front of the much larger Nakkabakki that was obviously half Mod Soul due to the confirmation of such through the brief conversation. The Nakkabakki known as Jak though didn't seem to be ashamed of his Hell heritage though as he made no attempt to hide the section of his body that was tainted and bared chains to the dimension of one of his parents. Tsukuyomi knew all to well what it was like growing up in an area where no one cared about you, but he didn't understand how Jak would so easily walk around when he was a mixture of two races that Soul Society sought to wipe from existence.
As Jak spoke though Tsukuyomi began to smile only a small amount yet that was far more than he normally revealed to someone new. Normally no one saw any sort of emotion from Tsukuyomi unless it was annoyance or anger yet rare cases seemed to draw upon his heart or at least that's what he had thought. Now though it seemed there was a connection between at least a few of the special individuals they were like him. Tsukuyomi learned from Jak's words that his mother was more than likely the Mod Soul while his father was an Akki just as Tsukuyomi's own father was one of the damned that had escaped from Hell.
Jak seemed to be losing his patience though as he crossed his arms across his chest and looked to Tsukuyomi with an expression that reeked of hate for what he appeared to be. Not only that, but Jak soon asked why it mattered and what it meant to Tsukuyomi why he wasn't trying to hide his heritage. At the same time Tsukuyomi noticed that Jak's lower body shifted slightly altering him that Jak might be preparing himself for the possibility that Tsukuyomi was about to try and eliminate him for simply being born the son of an Akki and Mod Soul.
"What is it to a Shinigami what I decide to be?"
"To a normal Shinigami it would mean that you are to be eliminated at this very moment for simply being the spawn of two wanted races. Luckily I'm not a normal Shinigami." Tsukuyomi with his right arm slung over his waist kept in that same position was normal by the half worn Shinigami uniform that covered his chest and vest grabbed ahold of the bottom to his vest. Tsukuyomi had only shown a few different people what Jak was about to see as for whatever reason Tsukuyomi felt he could trust someone like himself. Lifting his vest a few inches if Jak looked he would see that Tsukuyomi's skin wasn't the same color as his arms or face. It was a sick looking grey similar to a deceased body than that of a living.
That wasn't the only thing though as Tsukuyomi's left hand was brought up and seemed to grab ahold of something that was beneath the series of belts that he wore to keep all of his clothing on his body. It only took another moment, but as Tsukuyomi left hand was raised up Jak would see a thin pitch black chain. "Like I said I'm not a normal Shinigami Jak. I'm a Nakkabakki like you." Tsukuyomi didn't actually know why he trusted Jak enough even after just meeting him to reveal the secret that he clung to in order to survive yet all he could believe was that someone like him would never betray him. "If you have nothing else to do would we be able to talk in the park?" Tsukuyomi asked pointing to the park to their left as he concealed his skin and chain once again from view.

"To a normal Shinigami it would mean that you are to be eliminated at this very moment for simply being the spawn of two wanted races." Jak immediately got into a fighting stance ready to react to whatever the Shinigami decided to do next. Jak was ready to fight him. He was part of the race that took his mother from him. He will return the favor as many times as he could before they kill him. His arm would suddenly brighten reacting to his sudden anger and aggression. The shinigami in front of him continued. "Luckily I'm not a normal Shinigami." The man showed Jak his arm and it was clearly a different color than the rest of his body. Jak saw him reach for something else. Jak was still on his guard, but it was just the chain that accompanied the arm.
"Like I said I'm not a normal Shinigami Jak. I'm a Nakkabakki like you." Jak relaxed slightly straightening his back and letting his arms drop. His right arm started to fade now that he wasn't going on the offensive just yet. Jak was surprised that an Akki would even bother trying to mate with a shinigami. He couldn't even begin to think how that process went. He pushed the thought out of his head. Though the man wasn't an immediate threat, Jak still didn't trust him. He was a shinigami after all. "If you have nothing else to do would we be able to talk in the park?" Jak managed to tear his crimson eyes away from Tsukuyomi and look at the park that looking at. Jak nodded and turned starting to make his way there. "You know that is something you should open with when meeting another Nakikabakki" He said putting his hands behind his head.

As Tsukuyomi made it quite apparent that to any normal Shinigami a Nakkabakki was to be hunted down until they were slaughtered for no other reason than simply existing as they do he could see Jak shift into a stance of combat. Tsukuyomi had been training under the Captain Kimiko Shihoin who was one of the most skilled Hakudo practitioners in all of Soul Society. While Tsukuyomi had no skill in hand to hand combat himself he could tell based on Jak’s stance from his experience with his Captain that Jak was actually rather skilled and seasoned in hand to hand combat.
At the same time, he could see the color of Jak’s arm changing just enough that he knew he was going to come at him with everything he had in order to preserve his own life. Luckily Jak didn’t engage him and waited for Tsukuyomi to finish speaking and watched as the young Kawada revealed the markings of Hell that took place on his waist. Tsukuyomi could tell that Jak believed him as his stance shifted and then disappeared as he accepted the evidence of what Tsukuyomi actually happened to be.
While Jak’s tainted arm reverted to the original dark red color that Tsukuyomi had seen first he could tell that Jak still didn’t trust him. He could understand why though considering that Tsukuyomi worked as a Shinigami even if he was only truly half. It was smart to remain vigilant of him as at any moment Tsukuyomi could suddenly attack him despite being like him. However, Tsukuyomi felt closer to others like him than to either of the races that actually made him up.
Tsukuyomi asked Jak if they would be able to continue speaking in the park that was near them and after a brief few moments Jak turned his head looking at the park and then nodded his head. “He’s far more seasoned than Vesta. I wonder how many have come after him for him to be this cautious.” Tsukuyomi thought to himself as he began to walk beside Jak towards the park.
"You know that is something you should open with when meeting another Nakikabakki"
In all honesty Tsukuyomi hadn’t even thought of that yet could see both the positive and negative effects of either decision. “How many of us would actually believe me before seeing my chains do you think? I’m sorry for putting you on guard, but I’m glad to see there is another of us in Karakura that can defend himself from those who would do us all harm.”
Tsukuyomi still didn’t understand why he felt so relaxed around Jak simply due to him being a Nakkabakki. Perhaps it was because as another Nakkabakki he might know what it felt like to be so tormented by a heritage of complete evil or maybe it was because he was someone else that constantly had to live in fear of being hunted down and slaughtered for no other reason than being born.

“How many of us would actually believe me before seeing my chains do you think? I’m sorry for putting you on guard, but I’m glad to see there is another of us in Karakura that can defend himself from those who would do us all harm.” Jak had to give the shinigami that. Where he came from, he had to actively hide his akki heritage or else be killed. In that regard, Jak was a little more fortunate in the leniency of most other races. Some didn't care. Others were just ignorant of his parentage, it either way Jak managed to get away with being open about his arm. As they walked Jak thought that it was time that he opened up as well. The shinigami didn't give him a reason to not trust him...yet.
"Its fine, I had to go my entire life defending myself against others. I have been lucky that it has mostly been hollows with the occasional Quincy, and even an Akki once." He laughed slightly thinking back to the fight with the ice akki. He and Hotaru both fought against it and managed to drive it back to hell. It must have thought that it could get at his father through killing Jak, but it wasn't like Jak knew anything about his own father to begin with. His thoughts went back to Hotaru. He thought about their history together, when they met all the way to when their friendship fell apart. Jak wondered if he had been wrong in his reasoning about her.
"When you asked about my arm, that was only half of it." He started taking a breath. He didn't really like going into his past, or really anything about himself, but he should give Tsukuyomi something. "You can say it is a dare for someone to fight me. Specifically for Shinigami and Quincys. Out of all the races I fought against, those two I have the biggest grudge against." He would wait for Tsukuyomi to inquire more about those events before going further. Maybe that is enough for him. Jak popped his knuckled absent minded as he considered what to do. He hasn't ever fought against someone like him before. He wondered what kind of powers he had.

Tsukuyomi continued to walk beside the tall tan skinned Nakkabakki by the name of Jak who so far seemed to be one that would actually be willing to listen to him and figure out for himself whether Tsukuyomi as an individual was a threat instead of simply assuming due to his status as a Shinigami. It was refreshing to find another Nakkabakki and it made Tsukuyomi feel even more relaxed or at least happy to know that individuals such as him himself might be more understanding than anyone else.
Jak began to speak as well though stating that he had gone through the majority of his life against individuals that would wish to inflict harm upon him simply for being born the spawn of an Akki. Tsukuyomi could understand what Jak had been going through due to the fact that in truth Tsukuyomi was constantly in a state of danger due to the simple fact that if Soul Society ever were to find out about his secret than he would be executed immediately as a threat to them.
It seemed that Jak had been dealing with Hollows more so than any other race meaning that he had been destroying far more than just this one Hollow which although Tsukuyomi felt that he could sympathize with him better than almost anyone it did make him worry about all of the souls that had been destroyed. However, his worry was pushed aside as Jak mentioned having to face off against not only Quincy, but also at least one Akki which was actually surprising. Tsukuyomi knew how powerful Akki were suppose to actually be at least the same as the standard Captain meaning that Jak might be incredibly powerful.
Jak seemed to laugh in response to thinking back to the battle against the Akki which actually brought some doubt to Tsukuyomi as to Jak's mental stability as far as he was concerned any individual that would laugh towards an Akki was questionable. It seemed that Jak was going to give Tsukuyomi something else though bringing up once again why he never hides his tainted arm. He informed Tsukuyomi that by revealing his arm constantly he was actually trying to challenge individuals to battle more so than any others Shinigami and Quincy because he seemed to hold a grudge against them more so than any other race which Tsukuyomi felt was to be expected since they alone would feel the need to eradicate what they deem to be abominations.
Tsukuyomi could understand How Jak felt about the races of the spiritual worlds seeking him out in order to eliminate him for no other reason than simply being born the spawn of an Akki something that the both of them had in common. Tsukuyomi knew that if the wrong person in Soul Society or even the majority of any of the shinigami found out about him he'd be finished. The chances of him being able to get away was very little meaning that unless he planned and played it safe for his entire life he was going to be killed off for simply being different.
Jak popped his knuckles though and when he did Tsukuyomi's attention shifted over to him from his thoughts. The both of them were now inside of the park although they were just getting into it. "You don't seem to be nervous and from what I can tell you don't hold hostility towards me anymore. So I'm guessing you're interested in testing out another Nakkabakki in a sparring match or that your knuckles have been damaged in the past. If you wanna have a sparring session than lets fine a good place." Tsukuyomi was fine with the idea of facing off against Jak in combat.
It wouldn't be the first time that Tsukuyomi faced off against another Nakkabakki. Vesta the girl that had somehow managed to actually bring warmth and joy into a heart that had known nothing, but fear, dread and sorrow was another Nakkabakki. A sweet girl that possessed equally scary rage and could turn into something that Tsukuyomi felt was even more dangerous than his own demonic form. The question was though if Jak could control his Saisei Oni form and if he'd use it.

"You don't seem to be nervous and from what I can tell you don't hold hostility towards me anymore. So I'm guessing you're interested in testing out another Nakkabakki in a sparring match or that your knuckles have been damaged in the past. If you wanna have a sparring session than lets fine a good place." Jak looked at the half shinigami-half akki with a questioning look when he brought up him wanting to fight. Well he would be lying if he said that he wasn't looking forward to a good sparing match, but what would have...? Then it suddenly hit Jak. He must have thought that from when he had popped his knuckles a few seconds ago.
"I wouldn't mind a friendly fight in all honesty, but there is one thing that seems to be different between the two of us, as far as our other parents are concerned. Though I have been born with half an akki's power, I still find myself being welcomed by other's of my kind. Hell I am employed to fight because of it, but thinking about it, you don't have that chance do you?" He quickly elaborated. "I doubt that any shinigami would be willing to tolerate our kind around, and even less so if it is one of their own that his cursed like we are. As far as other shinigami go, you have no one there. I doubt that you would be quick to make enemies of someone who could be better as a friend.
He gave a genuine friendly smile to the black haired man and turned looking for a good spot. He spotted a clearing through some trees that would be fairly isolated from the rest of the park. They wouldn't want to injure someone accidentally. "Hey lets go over there." He pointed out the clearing and was already on his way over there. He jogged at a leasurly pace, using it to warm up his body before the fight started. Once he cleared the tree line, Jak would start to stretch his arms, legs, neck, and fingers. He could hear things pop ad feel the muscles stretch and looses. He kind of liked the feeling. He stretched waiting for Tsukuyomi to fallow him.

Well it seemed that Tsukuyomi was right to assume that Jak was looking to test his own powers against another Nakkabakki as Jak admitted that he wasn't against the idea of a friendly fight. However, Tsukuyomi somewhat happy demeanor was quickly dashed out as his facial expression shifted to that of a calm, lonely sorrowful boy all alone in the world. Jak was right with what he had said about how they were different and that Tsukuyomi didn't really have anyone in Soul Society that he could trust completely simply because of what he happened to be and there was nothing he could do about it.
That at least had been true throughout the majority of his life and up until about a year or so ago that had been the way that Tsukuyomi had lived his life. He had been alone since his mother had died and didn't trust anyone. That had continued until his former Captain had learned of his Hell abilities and instead of killing him outright she had accepted him for himself and not for simply being what he was born as. Only a few others knew and most of them Tsukuyomi had some trust for and others he was willing to kill if he had to in order to keep his secret save.
Tsukuyomi waited until Jak was finished speaking so that he could speak as well. "The majority of Shinigami are just how you would expect Jak. Most of them would kill me right away if they ever found out about what I am or worse they'd use me to benefit themselves." Tsukuyomi couldn't help himself from thinking about the elders as they all appeared in his mind as he mentioned the exact situation he was in at the moment because of them. "Some though are much better than the others and have accepted me for who I am and not what I am."
Tsukuyomi turned to Jak who had smiled to him and smiled back with a weak yet honest smile. Tsukuyomi was still a flame surrounded by darkness that could never break throughout the depth to the surface not yet anyway. It seemed that Jak found a clearing and wanted that to be the location of the sparring session so Tsukuyomi nodded his head and began to make his way over to the clearing. He wasn't going to underestimate Jak after what he had experienced when dealing with Vesta. So he began to stretch as well until he was in the clearing standing ten feet away looking at the much taller man.
"So you wanna set some ground rules to keep the damage to the park as minimal as possible or you wanna test out everything we've got and see who's the stronger?" Tsukuyomi asked Jak wondering whether or not he had an ability that would benefit from his physical body that was built to inflict and take damage based on everything that Tsukuyomi could see. It was quite possible that he was a close combat practitioner, but Tsukuyomi knew to never judge to early. Leaving it up to Jak would give him so more information more on his personality than his abilities, but regardless Tsukuyomi was ready to give it his all if Jak wanted it.
Jak nodded kind of glad to hear that Tsuku had at least someone that he could rely on. This line of thinking made Jak furrow his brown a bit. He thought hard about the people that he could rely on. He did mention that there was a mod soul that did accept him. Takara has always been trying to worm her way into his life one way or another, if for no other reason than because he was part mod soul. He wondered if he wasn't, would she have ever given him the time of day? He doubted it. Still, maybe he was too quick to try and push her away whenever she tried to get a little closer. He would need to remember to have a conversation about her about that.
Then the other Nakkibakki asked if they should set ground rules for their little fight. Jak just laughed a good natured laugh. "Tell me, what kind of fight would it be if he gave anything but our best? I can tell you, a really boring one." He would smile getting into his own fighting position. His fists were raised up to guard his head, his weight shifted to the balls of his feet, ready to move at a moments notice, like a cat ready to pounce on its prey. Jak would clench and unclench his fists in anticipation giving his new friend time to get ready. "Fight starts now!" he would suddenly shout rushing forward while changing into his demon form.
He wanted to see what Tsukuyomi's powers were capable of. He figured the best way to figure that out would be to release first and force him to release in response. He would suddenly grow another foot taller, his muscles expanding. His skin turned red before erupting into blames. He would grow another pair of arm from under his normal pair of arms. Black steel gauntlets would form over his upper set of arms each having four katana like blades extending from the wrists. They would extend out over the hand encircling it. A pair of flaming phoenix wings would roar to life on his back. He would use the mod soul step used by mod souls to flash right past him using his large arms to cloths line the shinigami. If he managed to make contact, he would inflict moderate soul burn on the target while moving at 32x his normal speed.

It seemed that the sparring match between his newly met friend Jak and himself was going to start and for the first time in perhaps a long time Tsukuyomi was actually curious about what type of abilities his opponent possessed. He hadn't really faced off against a Mod Soul in the past, but had read reports on them and knew that normally a Mod Soul's abilities were unique to them or their children. On the other hand he was a Nakkabakki as well meaning that his Saisei Oni could possess any number of abilities relating to whatever type of Akki his parent happened to be just as Tsukuyomi knew himself to be Eternity.
It seemed that the idea of ground rules on this sparring session was something that Jak wasn't all that into as he just laughed a bit at the idea and then told Tsukuyomi that if they established ground rules that the spar would actually just be boring in his opinion. Tsukuyomi could understand that even if normally he would have wished to make sure that neither of them were going to cause harm to the surrounding area. There didn't seem to be anyone in the area at the moment though so perhaps just letting it go this time wouldn't hurt at all. So as Jak got into his fighting position Tsukuyomi did the same placing both of his hands on the hilts of his zanpakutos starting out more serious than normal.
In a moment suddenly Jak was declaring that the battle was starting and then charging forward. Tsukuyomi his mind focused and his training throughout constant onslaughts against his former Captain enabled him to think clearly in basically any situation. "Cast Out The True Nature, Honshitsu." Tsukuyomi whispered and instantly the wakashi that he was holding in his left hand transformed in a very minor way turning from a standard looking wakashi into one that looked to be made in a crude way of iron that was wrapped in black leather that now was bound to Tsukuyuomi's left arm in the leather. Tsukuyomi watched as Jak suddenly began to change and he knew what he was doing.
Although he could keep his mind focused and calm it was still surprising to see that Jak was going to activate his Saisei Oni right from the start instead of utilizing whatever ability he possessed as part Mod Soul. More than that though was the mere fact that Jake was willing to use the ability granted to him from Hell itself. Not to mention the obvious fact that Jakw as able to control himself while in the release of his dark parent. Tsukuyomi had come across a few different Nakkabakki and none of them had been able to control themselves while in that release so this was a first. His appearance though was definitely fitting that of a demon.
As Tsukuyomi witnessed the vast difference in appearance he witnessed the suddenly arrival of flames across Jak's body and as he continued to get closer and Tsukuyomi prepared to utilize Honshitsu against him he saw the flaming wings emerge from his back. Focusing his reiatsu into his feet Tsukuyuomi would execute Sonido the fastest step technique that he possessed that normally he wasn't able to utilize for fear of being found out as a Nakkabakki. He'd use the step technique to jump into the air high enough and fast enough that Jak would pass by him or that he'd be able to attack him from above. He didn't know what the wings signified, but he didn't like them and played on the side of caution.
Sadly, he wasn't cautious enough as Jak's attack while not fast enough to land quite the way he had planned was still fast enough that as Tsukuyomi jumped into the air Jak's arm clashed against his shins and would send him flying off balance forwards. Instantly Tsukuyomi knew he was in trouble his left leg was broken from that single attack. Jak possessed quite a bit of strength and as he was flipping through the air Tsukuyomi would extend his right hand touching the grass to slow himself down as he slashed towards Jak's back with Honshitsu from approximately ten feet away. In that moment a foot long line of blue fire would appear on the air itself that would quickly start rushing towards Jak at a speed of 500 and by the time it reached Jak it's size would double.
Tsukuyomi wouldn't finally come to a stop until he was about thirty feet away and on the ground for a moment. He'd quickly get into a kneeling position unable to stand up completely as his left leg was now broken from Jak's attack. "Descend From The Abyss Onto The Battlefield, Tsukuyomi No Mikoto." Tsukuyomi spoke as he held the katana at his side and it suddenly turned into a beautiful silver crescent sword. He possessed two zanpakuto and was going to use both of them to try and defeat his new friend despite the sheer speed and strength that Jak had just displayed against him in a single attack.
Tsukuyomi now had a bright silver circle on his forehead and a crescent beneath it that was facing upwards the symbols of Mikoto that appeared on him while he utilized her. The three white moons of reiatsu that were crafted when Mikoto was released rotated around Tsukuyomi as he held her outwards and waved her slightly created two additional white moons that would move slightly farther away from him and rotate in the opposite direction. Tsukuyomi was surrounded by the white moons. Three five feet away from him rotating clock wise while the other two were ten feet away and moving counter clock wise. He was awaiting Jak's next move while he planned his own and Jak was going to find out that very soon.
Jak's favorite opening move was not as successful as he would have hoped. In most cases, Jak was able to slam his arm into his opponent's head, neck, or chest and send them flying. That move could even end some fights. It seemed that Tsukuyomi was able to use the step technique favored by Arrancars. It was fast. Added with his own natural speed, he was faster than Jak hoped to be. Still his wings allowed him to go even faster. Even if Jak was not able to land a solid blow on his shinigami comrade, Jak was able to clip him, and that might have been enough to tip the odds in his favor. Jak felt his arm hit the shins of the other nakkabakki sending him spiraling to the ground.
Jak would continue to go past Tsukuyomi, and quickly pivot to face him. Before him was a line of fire rapidly expanding as it came to him. Like Tsukuyomi, Jak leaped into the air using the basic human step technique, movement, to avoid the attack. Jak would leap into the air with 2400 speed. On top of that, his strength allowed him to jump higher than Tsukuyomi would have. Still the attack had caught him a bit off balance, so Jak didn't get away unscathed. His right foot had remained just within range of the fire and got burned by it. He growled in pain, but his pain resistance, and heat resistance allowed Jak to fight through the pain.
Jak smiled down at the shinigami. They had traded one foot for the other. Unfortunately for Tsuku, Jak had his wings. He could fly. Jak focused his reiatsu into his four hands. One crimson orb would fill each hand. He would throw them quickly one after another. Some would be aimed right at Tsukuyomi, other would be thrown around him. Some would stop should while other would fly past. If he was paying attention, and not too busy dodging, he would notice that they were not exploding. They would remain stationary in the air hovering perfectly still. Jak would fire forty eight spirit bolts hovered around him. "Try this on for size!" Jak shouted from on high.
With a clench of his fist, Jak sent all forty eight spirit bolts converging onto Tsuku. They would come from all different directions and angles. Some lagging behind the others. If he dodged the first wave, the others would track his movements and home in on him tracking them down to blast him. Jak watched having to concentrate to keep all the spirit bolts on target. He also wanted to see what his new friend would do against such an attack. He was curios. Still the smile never left Jak's face. This was going to be a fun fight, he could feel it in his gut. He glanced down at his foot for a second. They had traded blows this early in the fight, that was a bit unusual.
