New Powers: Power Section Rewritten for clarity and grammar with a few modifications to the mechanics. Please copy this into the powers section and overwrite the old one.
Changes: (I know all techniques will still be read over, but here is a list of what I'm hoping was all the edits I made to the powers)
-Sand Strip has been removed and replaced with the ability to infused her reatisu at a rate of 1 cubic foot to 5 reaitsu in shikai and 3 to 5 in bankai
-Area of Control as been upped slightly to 75 feet at shikai and 100 at bankai.
-Since Yetsuna lost access to most of her technique options because she became a perma release the golem can use any hoho she knows instead of just shunpo.
-Atlas' rage had a few minor effect updates, such as blinding people with high senses for a few posts and adding a hard speed someone would need to have in order to escape it's effects, that number being 300+
-Falling to Pieces the golem can break into uneven sizes now so long as the total height remains 40 and the strength is distributed to each golem.
-Unyielding Stone clarified several points of confusing, such as when regeneration began. Reaitsu costs for Yetsuna were also updated to reflect a more reasonable price scale given the amount she can summon during her bankai.
-Earth's End has been fully removed due to power issues, namely it being way too strong, and will be replaced at a future time.
Overall Ability: Yetsuna’s zanpaktou revolves around two major concepts. The first is defense, mostly in the form of the weapon’s physical embodiment which is a suit of armor which, should someone manage to hit her, will help negate some of the damage they would have dealt. The second major concept is about using earth as a sword and shield via generation and manipulation. There is a cost to summoning her earth, detailed below, but the manipulation earth has no active costs and only requires mental thought on her end. Both, if used correctly and smartly, can allow Yetsuna to become a literal tank; able to take or stop most attacks and return fire with an overwhelming show of force.
Note: Several terms are used interchangeably when referencing her control over earth, but they all mean the same thing within the contexts of her powers.
Shikai Overall Ability: Earth is a fun element to have control over because more often than not there tends to be a lot of it around, meaning you have almost infinite supply of ammo, but there’s one major catch; earth is easy to break. To solve this issue Yetsuna employs two tactics, both with the same end result. The first is to summon her own earth; by channeling her reaitsu through her release it is converted into solid stone with a durability equal to her spiritual pressure and a class equal to her release. She can generate earth at an exchange rate of about 10 reaitsu to 1 cubic foot of stone, though when summoned it does not literally have to take the form of a cube. The stone is summoned instantly within 5 feet of her, after 5 feet there's a half second delay between when she channels her reaitsu and when the stone appears. The other method for Yetsuna to get around natural earth’s fragility is to infuse it with her reaitsu, giving it the same properties as the earth she summons at a reduced rate of 5 to 1.
Her area of control for the earth, both for free manipulation and conversion, is set at approximately 75 feet in her shikai state, but due to the way her power works there are some caveats. When it comes to manipulation Yetsuna can limitedly control earth that is outside of her radius as long as it is connected to section of the earth within her sphere of influence. This limited control is mostly just in the form of velocity and only applies with she does large bulk summons. Any earth that is squarely with her control radius is free for her to manipulate as she sees fit only having to will the earth to do what she wants before it begins to move and take shape. An additional note for the earth and her use of it is that because her power has a physical mass it does posses the ability to stop a stronger attack than its durability given she uses enough. Finally, even if the enemy manages to break through all of her earth with an attack and still manages to hit her all the stone destroyed will reduce the final damage done to her. Yetsuna’s earth does have more more property of interest, how it interacts with its master. In shikai Yetsuna can move through any earth she has created at her normal speed and rate of effort.
The other half of Yetsuna’s release actually comes in the form of the zanpaktou’s physical form; a suit of plate armor. The armor is almost as perfect a defense as one can get without becoming overly broken, it can resist physical strikes, changes in temperature, reaitsu effects and spells, etc. Basically if it can do damage chances are the armor can take the hit and protect her. The armor’s class is equal to whatever her release class is and it’s durability is the standard doubled offensive stat. The armor when struck will reduce the damage she receives by 35% as long as she possesses the stronger offensive stat. In cases where her stat falls short damage will still be reduced by 10%. The armor can resist and/or break spells in accordance with the clash of techniques rules.
Bankai Overall Ability: Yetsuna’s bankai, somewhat ironically, breaks away slightly from the themes set in her overall and focuses heavily on the offensive aspects of earth instead of its defensive properties. With its execution Yetsuna summons a massive slab of earth underneath her or infuses the earth under her with her reaitsu, the earth summoned or converted covers a 90’x90’x10’ area, but this is just a setup for the main event. A moment after that a large hand rises out of the stone, followed by a shoulder, head, another arm, etc. until a massive 40 foot golem dominates the battlefield. The golem posses 1000 strength and 500 speed and shares any sensory stat numbers with Yetsuna.
The golem has a variety of control methods that can be used depending on the situation. More often than not she let’s the golem dictate its own actions during combat leaving her free to engage another enemy without any distraction. She can also give it suggestions or orders, telling it to do something and it then decides on the best method to do so. Finally she can control the golems actions directly via her manipulation powers. When the golem is self sufficient it can hold it’s own surprisingly well for a such a large and bulky creature. It has a high functioning combat intelligence and does posses the ability to speak, though it rarely does, and it tends to speak more rough then elegantly. It often relies on its fists and body as its primary weapons, but should Yetsuna make it a weapon it can use any kind of weapon at a skill level of 2. Additionally the golem can use any hoho technique that Yetsuna knows at her level of proficiency, though it comes out of Yetsuna reaitsu pool and steps for that post. The durability of the golem is equal to that of her stone in bankai, which is 150% of her spiritual pressure while her bankai is active.
The golem is not the only thing in her bankai, however. Yetsuna retains everything from her shikai with bonuses. The bankai armor will still only stop 35% of the damage if her offensive stat is superior, but in cases where it’s not the damage is dropped to 15%. The earth she summons also becomes cheaper and stronger, with her being able to summon three cubic feet for 10 reaitsu or convert 3 cubic feet for 5. The earth, as long as her bankai is active, also becomes denser and harder to break, bringing its durability up to 150% of her spiritual pressure. Her range of control extends another 25 feet to make 100 feet total and one new power is added. Yetsuna can now teleport using her stone as a medium as long as point A and B are connected in some way. The teleportation is instant and takes nothing but physical contact with the stone. The golem can also move using the stone as a medium but in a different form. Rather than teleporting the golem and send parts of his body through the stone to try and catch enemies off guard. The limb(s) can move through any of Yetsuna’s earth at a speed of 500, but the two segments of earth do not have to be connected like they do for Yetsuna, though travel time due to distance still must be observed, approximately 75 feet every second.
Weapon Techs:
Atlas’ Rage: By expending 150 reaitsu Yetsuna can summon a large, about 20 feet tall, pillar of stone in a location Yetsuna’s choosing. After a short pause, about a half second to a second, the pillar disintegrates into a massive and powerful sandstorm affecting a 80 foot diameter. The sand in the storm rubs and tears against the enemies skin, sometimes just rubbing it raw, but sometimes removing whole chunks of skin. It gets in the enemy's eyes and blinds them until they can rub away the grains, but those of exceptionally sensitive eyes, 200+, will be blinded for several posts after the storm despite rubbing. It can also enter the airways and cause breathing complications until the affected person is healed or examined by someone with 75 in HE for a post. If Yetsuna pays an additional 100 reaitsu upon casting she can cause sections of the storm to heat up and make sharp glass fragments form. Those fragments add addition damage to the storm in the form of deep lacerations to the skin as well as potential stabbing hazards. The storm reduces visibility for all those in it to almost nothing, however those with 300+ sense can still see to some extent. Those of a high enough speed, 300+, can move out of the range of the storm before it begins if they are able to deduce what’s it about to occur. Anyone with a 50% stat superiority will not suffer any damage from the sandstorm though certain effects, such as the blinding and breathing complications will still pose threats. Friendly fire is not incurred with this ability because Yetsuna uses manipulation to protect herself and other from the storm, though she must be aware of their presence. Fianlly this ability can be used several times at once to cover an even greater area, but she must pay the cost for each and every storm. Each storm lasts a single post.
Bankai:
Falling to Pieces: The golem can split apart into small versions of itself to engage numerous enemies at once or fight in more contained quarters. It can break apart into any number of golems so long as the total height of the golems equals 40 feet and the strength is divided proportionally between them. The speed of the mini-golems remains unchanged regardless of how many are made, the same applies to its instinct and sense scores.
Unyielding Stone: The bread and butter of Yetsuna’s bankai. So long as the golem is in contact with a sufficient mass of earth, around 90 cubic feet, it will continually regenerate any damage that is done to it. The regeneration occurs immediately after damage has been done to the golem, regardless of whose post it is, and regardless of how much damage was done to it. The earth the golem is in contact with does not have to be summoned by or infused with Yetsuna’s reaitsu in order for this effect to take place. If the golem was destroyed while standing on a sufficient chunk of earth it will still regenerate like normal.
If, for some reason, the golem is not in contact with earth when it takes damage Yetsuna can repair it herself by expending her reaitsu. The cost can be as low as 10 reaitsu and all the way up to 150 reaitsu, with the amount she expends depending on the damage done. It takes 10 reaitsu to repair a finger, 30 for a hand, 50 for an arm, 75 to regenerate half of the golem, 125 for ¾ a generation and finally 150 to bring it back from being full destroyed.
