The trio of representatives from the Land of the Living made it into the prison without much more resistance but without any backup. It was just the three of them from here on out. Kazura was careful to keep track of Shizuka and Asmoskon's backs from his vantage point behind them but nothing snuck up on them, thankfully. They could breathe a bit easier now, though this was where the rubber met the road, figuratively. They had made it to the source of the evil, the lion's den. And this den was made of stone so dense and so unique that not even Kazura could sample it or study it. The man was so curious about the material that his nanobots couldn't even scratch it. It appeared even more powerful than the Sekki Sekki he had studied way back when...
Since he couldn't touch it, he didn't hesitate for long, urging his compatriots onward into the main prison. There were no options for paths, thank goodness, so he was confident that they were on the right path. They were on the only path, after all. All of the cells looked empty, which prompted Kazura to get closer to one of them. He could sense a powerful barrier in between him and the cell contents, and when he approached it he found it to be invisible but very real and very solid. Unable to pass, nor see any sorts of contents of the cell, the inventor shrugged and gestured to the downward descent. He would walk in silence, just analyzing everything he saw... Which was more and more of the same.
Upon reaching the... top of the descent, the fullbringer felt nearly sick to his stomach trying to justify, explain, and understand how he was now at the top when he had been walking downwards. His analytical mind furiously retraced his steps, trying to find out just when he had been going up instead of down, but he couldn't figure it out. Holding back the vomit from being so confused, he put on a brave face and advanced with the other two to see a torn up battlefield outside the nearly identical tunnel that they had come in from.
He saw the small group of fighters against the masses and his instincts and mind processed the information in a moment. From what he could see there were Shinigami everywhere, but most of them were against the dagger wielding youth and his companions. It was a mirror image of the Land of the Living and what they had gone through themselves. "I would advise not to engage... Somehow we have come across a large group of Shinigami in our world, but this appears to be the back door to the prison. If I were the owner, I wouldn't try to be breaking into my own back door. These must be trying to overcome the same sort of converted forces as we just braved. If we can, lets keep the way into the door open for those who are trying to get in while minimizing casualties. I don't intend to piss off the Gotei today, even if they are on our soil."
