When it came down to it there were some decisions that just didn't come through as well as they did in your head. Swimming with sharks, rock climbing naked, sex bareback with complete strangers, playing Star Wars Battlefront, just a few examples of bad ideas. This one though? Well, let's just say that Luke's job did not offer workers compensation. The young man poked the boxes that the obscured animal hide behind, hoping to scare it out so that he could get himself a good look at what it was that was keeping him from doing his on.
Sadly, it seemed that he was about to get a bit more than he was initially asking for. As he poked and prodded the box, he felt a resistance against his attempt. He blinked, realizing that what he was feeling as he pushed was the animal being pressed against the box, meaning that it was right against the box. Luke blinked, wondering what would happen if he poked it harder. So, he did just that. He quickly poked it harder, and doing so rewarded him with a sign of what was behind the box. A hiss escaped from behind the boxes, causing Luke to blink and take a quick step back.
"Hold on.." Luke commented, recognizing the sound he was hearing. Any idiot with a brain could recognize that sound. His suspicion was confirmed when the sight of a black cat came running out from behind the boxes. Wait, a cat? Luke blinked, looking down at the irritated feline. He expected the small creature to run away like all cats normally did, being the terrified animals that they were, but this one did not run away from Luke but instead came charging towards him in a fit of rage.
"BUAAAGH!" Luke shouted, quickly ducking down to the right as the cat came soaring past where his face had been moments before. What was with this stupid thing? Cats weren't normally aggressive creatures, especially with things much larger than them! Animal Planet and common knowledge said so! The young underpaid employee danced on his feet, turning to face where the cat should have been. "The hell is your problem!?" Luke shouted at the animal, back pedaling a bit to make some distance as well as keeping the broom raised in case he needed to smack the cat.
