inb4 more boosts
Let me start off by saying; no, the point of this little Discussion is not to ask for more boosts to Struggler. I think the boosts are completely fine. Rather, I wanna ask for everyone's opinion on a little change to what stats can get the boosts. Alright, here's my idea. See, as it is now, Strugglers are able to take a boost in both a Physical and a Spiritual stat, one being stronger than the other, followed by a debuff to two of their mental stats. Now, as we know, Struggler is a type meant for character growth and development, the character is forced to start at Class 8 and requires an Osen curse, something stuck with the character forever. It's a characterization type. Now, here's my request. Let's tweak Struggler that you don't have to simply boost one Physical and Spiritual, but also have the option of boosting one of the Mental (Senses, Instinct, Energy Sensory, Healing Expertise) instead of one or the other. Here's my reasoning. As they are written now, Struggler is a purely combat oriented type. With the option to boosting one of the other stats, it broadens the Struggler playstyle, allowing for more unique Struggler characters and not all of them being raw attackers. Let's look at it in type format.
And now let's look at what I am suggesting
So as we can see, the number of stats being boosted has remained at 2, and the number of stats being reduced has remained at 4. This tweak simply allows for one of the Mental stats to receive either the Large boost or the Smaller boost, and thus allowing for more Struggler playstyles. I do hope that you all consider this tweak, and hope that it passes.
PS: Vizards still can't be Strugglers.

{Current Struggler}
Type: Struggler
Description: The Forsaken are individuals who have been abandoned by the graces of fate. These are men and women who have been cast onto the border between light and darkness. These are people who have been branded with a curse. These curses are unnatural in nature, being incapable of being explained by rational science. A curse is not some sort of physical deformity, such as a lazy eye or missing an arm, but rather some sort of supernatural occurrence that thrusts the individual into a life of hardship. Many of the Forsaken live short lives incapable of tolerating their hardships. Many take their own life or fall to their curse. However, those that struggle on grow into mighty beings with wills of steel. These characters face their hardships with weapon in hand and pushing forward.
Advantage:
Level 1: 50% Increase (100 to 150) to one Physical Stat or Spiritual Stat; 30% increase (100 becomes 130) to a opposite stat (if Strength was chosen boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa).
Level 2: Double (100 to 200) to one Physical Stat or Spiritual Stat; 50% increase (100 to 150) to a opposite stat (if Strength was chosen boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa).
Level 3: 150% Increase (100 becomes 250) to one Physical Stat or Spiritual Stat; 50% increase (100 to 150) to a opposite stat (if Strength was chosen boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa).
Level 4: Triple (100 to 300) to one Physical Stat or Spiritual stat; 75% increase (100 to 175) to a opposite stat (if Strength was chosen boost either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure and vice versa).
Disadvantage:
Level 1: 30% reduction to one of the stats that did not receive the boost. Reduce two sensory stats by 25%. Must have at least 1 point in Strength of Will.
Level 2: 40% reduction to one of the stats that did not receive the boost. Reduce two sensory stats by 25%. Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
Level 3: 50% reduction to one of the stats that did not receive the boost. Reduce two sensory stats by 30%. Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
Level 4: 50% reduction to one of the stats that did not receive the boost. Reduce two sensory stats by 40%. Must have at least 3 points in Strength of Will.
Across all levels: Any character that takes this type must create a technique called Osen. This may differentiate between each character, but its name and overall effect must be the same. Osen causes misery, mayhem, and hardship onto its owner. It is a Curse, not a technique any character can control. Osen can be anything; causing someone to turn to stone at midnight, being incapable of drinking water, causing skin to become burnt in the sunlight. As the character both classes and ranks up with this type, the Osen will also become stronger. This takes up one Technique Slot for the character. No weaponization of the Osen is possible, it cannot be transferred in any way. Additionally, the Osen supersedes all other techniques, including releases, it is not possible to be worked around.
All characters who take this type must start with it as Training Tier, this type cannot be switched into by anyone who is not Class 8 or the accessible classes.
Race Restrictions: Available to all Races except Failures, Arrancar, Akki, Hason, Saika, Hollows, Mod Souls, Vizards.
Initial Money: 0 Ryo
Initial Weapons: One Start Weapon (i.e. one Zanpaktou, one Doll, etc)
