The signature "ding" of the message popping up on Kazura's computer was almost ignored. It wasn't the alert of a high priority email or a calendar alert, so it must not have been too important. But, as the man was slightly bored, having done most of his work for the day, he decided to divert a tiny portion of his attention to that side of the screen to see what it was. It was an email, written by someone who took the name "Q". Q@genericemail.com to be exact. With an odd email address like that, and experience with a certain Shinigami already labeling himself as "P", Kazura decided to open the email and see what was wrong.
Mr. Uzaki,
Your work in the Spiritual World has not gone unnoticed. If you wish to be the force of good that you claim to be, then you will send a team into Australia to investigate the out of control fauna issues.
-Q
This was going to be something actually interesting, and probably serious. Pressing a button underneath his desk that could only be activated by Kazura's fingerprint and reiatsu signature, a company wide text was sent out to all of the Spiritual Employees. "Work is available in the CEO's office for any who are interested." With the text sent, all there was left to do was wait to see who showed up. Meanwhile, he looked into the Australia issue. What he came up with were a few grainy youtube videos of various creatures emerging from the ground and terrorizing people. Kazura clicked the button again, which sent out another text message to the spiritual employees. "High priority mission. Potential for Hazard pay."
It was only a few moments after Kazura had sent the message to everyone that work was available that his office door was flung open. Standing there proud as he could be was Siegfried with a grin across his face. Before Kazura could even say anything he shouted out “Thou hast finally summed me my lord! Words can not express my joy at knowing thou hath called for thy knight.” Sure it was wrong for him to speak out of term to his king, but the joy of hearing that he was needed was overwhelming him at the moment. It had been far too long since he had been summoned to Kazura's office and he missed being graced with the prescience of his king.
Still he knew better than to stand before his king like that. He quickly walked in front of Kazura's desk and knelled before him. All the while keeping his gaze away from Kazura. It was an honor to be allowed to look at the king in his eyes. An honor that Kazura had not granted him yet. As he was walking he overheard something about creatures from hell. He smiled, he knew why he had been summoned here. To deal with the creatures from hell by himself. It wasn't safe to send those that didn't know the dangers of hell. “My lord what is thy command?” He would remain knelling before Kazura waiting to hear what his king had to say to him.

"Why the f*** isn'it WORKIN!?" Came the voice of what sounded like an old as dirt harpy, carrying all the rage of a bag full of wet cats. "Well maybe if a certain WHORE would let me FOCUS, I could FIGURE IT OUT!" Called out the arrogant, yet enraged man, with hurried ratchet clicking following close behind. "YOU aren't doing Jack S***! I'm the one building this d*** machine!" The groaning of metal being moved around was heard. "Where's Connor to shut you two the f*** up when he's needed? Oh wait, SOME SHINIGAMI BLEW HIM THE F*** UP!" The man snared, sending the owners of the other two voices into an even deeper rage.
The owners of said voices, were not three separate people, or at least not separate in the traditional sense. Both men, and even the woman's voice belonged to a single man, known as Kitai Yoru. Or at least, that is the name of his rage. His pride and lust are known as Jack and Jill respectively. As a man suffering from a severe case of multiple personalities disorder, they like that you call them by their names, not the one of the real personality. What is his real name you might wonder? Well, it's-"FINISHED, you whiny b****s! HAHAHAAH!" He said, interrupting the flow of narration...
What he had 'finished', is what appeared to be a metal tube, attached to a giant metal box, with dozens of wires hanging off of the box, connected to it in more ways than could be counted. "Final-f***ing-ly! Now hurry ya a$$ up ya pale F****!" Jill replied, clearly wanting to test the odd contraption sooner than later. The man, standing at an odd seven foot one, grinned a wicked smile. "Like I need you to tell me what to do you wretched skank. Jack told her, out of principle." A mere moment before he could enter the tube, his newly acquired phone went off.
As the long-haired albino stopped before his machine, a look spread across his face, so dark, it could scare a hollow back into Hueco Mundo. With a blink of the eye, Kitai had ripped his phone out of his pocket to figure out what Kazura wanted. Who else would send him anything? "...That one time aside." He muttered to himself, almost regretting that odd fight that cost him his old phone and home. Reading through the texts, he found it was just one of those work texts that were sent out every so often. He very nearly turned off his phone, when a follow up text was received, mentioning hazard pay.
The three personas stared at the small screen, a blank look upon their face. "....I want that-F***ING B****, I'M GOING!" Jill started, before Kitai angrily interrupted, not needing her to start ranting about her money fetish. Slamming the door to the tube as he turned around, he responded with a confirmation to Kazura. "Better be freaking worth it....." The wrath grumbled, as he lightly stomped through the halls of UE. Too bad for the floors, his version of light was the equivalent to a jack hammer.
As he approached the office, he quieted his steps, becoming a whisper as he walked forward, grinning his usual grin, if only for appearances. In spite of his best efforts, it would still come off as slightly strained to the more observant eye. "Hello there~, Ka-zu-ra!" He said, stretching out the man's name, sounding slightly sarcastic, as he walked in the door. Turning to the other occupant in the room, Kitai immediately spoke his mind. "Who the f*** is this pansy a$$?" He asked, not dropping his smile in the slightest, as he chuckled at the shorter man, waiting for the show to start.

It had been a month since Marcus had started coming back to work and his energy and excitement still hadn’t diminished. He couldn’t be happier to be back where he belongs. After all, Marcus never stayed down for long. Six months after he fell into his coma, he woke up in Karakura General Hospital. Two months later, he was up and about, though not necessarily with the approval of his doctors. But after sneaking out of the hospital, he wasn’t eager to return and instead recovered on his own. After all, what did those doctors know? They thought it was a miracle that he could walk again. Now, he was sprinting and running all over the place, just two more months after he escaped that horrible hospital. Ten months total since he was taken out of commission. Marcus was backing.
And he was pushing the envelope, both literally and figuratively. While he did help with finances in the Financial Department in the top floors of skyscraper, in his free time, Marcus went down to the underground levels of the Uzaki Enterprise Headquarters to engage in personal training against combat-programmed training robots. Though no matter how hard Marcus tried, he couldn’t get his strength to return. His muscles still ached when he exerted them past ordinary levels. Something broke in him, and it wasn’t healing. And so he had to train in other ways. It was less physical now. Half of his training involved fighting with his small blades against projectiles being launched at him from all angles. His current speed couldn’t compete with what it used to be, but Marcus was stubborn. He kept the intensity of his old training and suffered for it. Bruises and cuts covered his body beneath his suit.
The other half of Marcus’s training was even more important, however. After his heart threatened to burst out of his ribcage and his lungs were gasping for air, he simply stopped moving and flexed his reiatsu with all his strength, screaming at the top of his lungs. No one could hear his cries, but anyone who happened to be in the building early in the morning could detect his reiatsu. It was faint at first, but as the weeks of his rigorous, daily routine continued, that spiritual power grew at a remarkable rate. It was more than respectable at it current level, not even comparable to the petty reiatsu strength of the old Marcus. It was all he could do to compensate for the loss of his strength.
But Marcus was ready for action now. Ten months was a long wait for him, especially when it came to doing missions for Kazura. He used to be one of the more powerful members in Uzaki Enterprise. Now, it was time to re-evaluate where he stands. When Kazura sent the message out to all his available employees, Marcus opened the window of his office and dove out head-first, the wind blowing against his hair as he fell. After only a few seconds, he completed a front-flip to land on a cushion of air-ground by another window. In a rehearsed motion, he quickly flipped the nearby window open and entered the bathroom on the same level as Kazura’s floor.
And Marcus was excited. He checked to make sure no one was occupying the restroom before rushing over to the mirror and combing his hair with his fingers. He took several moments to decide which side to brush it to before giving into his indecisiveness and keeping it centered. He then re-did the knot of his tie nine times precisely because it didn’t look proper enough the first time and the other eight weren’t satisfactory improvements. After all, he wasn’t going to just meet with anybody. It was Kazura, and he wanted Marcus’s help. This is what all those early mornings and evenings training were leading up to. But maybe Marcus was too excited, and before he knew it, he was rushing over to the urinals to relieve his bladder.
After zipping up and washing his hands, Marcus exited the bathroom with a slow casual walk, hoping to put on the façade that he wasn’t overwhelmingly ecstatic. However, a smile still tugged on his lips. He had expected to be the first to arrive at Kazura’s office. After all, the whole bathroom situation took no longer than a minute. Marcus was fast. His hands blurred as he tied his tie and combed his hair. He was even a quick whizzer. So you can understand his disappointment when he was just feet from Kazura’s door and a figure cut in front of him, screaming at the top of his lungs, “Thou hast finally summoned me, my lord!”
Marcus knew who that was. Sigfried Hoffman. The man from the past. He had read his file several times and memorized his face. He even saw him occasionally but decided to avoid having an awkward confrontation and introduction. And now, that near-stranger had robbed Marcus of his joy. The man was almost brought to tears. He couldn’t continue any further. Rather than entering Kazura’s office, he leaned against the wall just outside and battled his misery. Never before had he felt so crushed.
But it got worse. As he closed his eyes to fight the tears, another figure came right past him into the office. "Hello there~, Ka-zu-ra!" Kitai Yoru, the crazy man. Marcus had met this man personally long ago, and it was a very awkward experience that involved a completely misunderstood fight between the two. Now that Marcus had been one-upped twice, he wasn’t going to take it anymore. He forced the water-works behind his eyes down, lifted his head, and walked right into that office with all the confidence that he had. At least that’s what Marcus intended to do. Instead, with his stealth skills and speed, he slipped through as a dark blur and found a nice corner to stand his, his eyes focused on the ground. He would occasionally look up at Kazura and offer a single nervous wave, but he left the conversation up to Kitai and Siegfried.
But there was a reason for that too, and Marcus had a note to address it. After he waited for the other two men to finish speaking, he uncertainly handed Kazura a folded piece of paper that he drew from his pocket. In sharp handwriting, the note read: Hello, Kazura. I am very happy to be working again, but I realized something strange with my recovery. The more I strengthened my spirituals, the worse my speaking condition got. The stutter only grew more frequent. And recently, I started to realize that people have been mishearing my words. Each individual may hear something different. I am not sure what is happening, but for the sake of this mission, I think that is important for you to know. Marcus had been holding onto that for the past week when he started to realize the strange thing he could only describe as some sort of spiritual curse. However, he didn’t feel comfortable in addressing it until it became relevant to his performance in a potential mission. Now, he could only hope that his speech impediment, or what ever else it may be called, didn’t hurt the team. Marcus had preferred to go out in the field on his own, but something told him that Kazura didn’t send out a mass message for no reason. Whatever was wrong, it was very serious.

OOC: Since my Adventures are notorious for slow starts, I'm going to get this one to the action as quick as possible. Hyper speed intro, Engage!
Siegfried, Kitai, and Marcus answered the request for work. Siegfried was... unusually quick to get in the door, having entered the office just as the second text went out. Kazura barely had enough time to compose himself before the man had burst into the office and once again professed his undying servitude, or something to that nature. Sure, Kazura had let him out of that suspended state he was in, but his blind loyalty was a bit abnormal. Still, though, it was nice to have loyal employees that were willing to work at a drop of a hat. “My lord what is thy command?” Also, the kneeling thing was sooo last millennium. But Kazura could deal with that. "At ease, Knight. We'll wait for your other coworkers to arrive. This unfortunately is a job that will need some cooperation."
Kitai arrived, the whole building having heard the man climb the stairs forcefully. But most of the regular employees were used to the man's antics by now. Hopefully. The tall and... unfortunately unstable man entered the office with more polite etiquette than Kazura had ever seen him display (probably because of the money). Though... the etiquette ended when Kitai saw Siegfried, who was apparently a pansy in Kitai's mind. "This is your coworker, Siegfried. You two will be working together, along with Marcus over there in the corner." As he spoke, Marcus came up to the desk, handing over a note that explained that verbal communication was going to be hard.
With three different employees, all with very unique talents and skills, Kazura felt content to send them on the mission. But first, of course, he had to explain it to them. "Australia seems to be having trouble with out of control animals. On the news, this looks fairly normal, but having looked into it, I've identified definite signs of Hell influence. For some reason, Hell is messing around down there, and your job is to get down there, find the source, and take it out if possible. As this will be potentially very dangerous, you will all be paid handsomely, of course. In addition, as always, I will pay for any research materials you find while down there. Large research samples will definitely be rewarded. Now, there is a jet ready for you all downstairs, and I'll arrange for a contact to meet you once you get there."
The three fullbringers would be directed to the roof, where they'd take a helicopter to the edge of town where there was actually room for a decent airport. There wasn't any direct flights from Karakura to Australia, so they had to stop in Tokyo before heading internationally. Even then they still had a stop, which made for a long day of flying. But, they'd make it to the country without too much of a hitch. Miraculously, none of the three were stopped by security for random screenings, despite how some of them looked. It had gone as perfectly as it possibly could have.
Arriving in the town of Brisbane on the eastern coast of Australia, the trio would find their guide meeting them quite promptly. "Hello, you three, I'm Cooper Smith. Kazura told me that you'd be arriving about this time. I hope that your trip was uneventful? This country is anything but uneventful these days. I hear that you're here to help us out. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask questions. I'm also supposed to remind you that if you need anything from your boss, he'll have his phone on at all times, and he's only a text or a phone call away." With the short introduction out of the way, Kitai, Siegfried, and Marcus would have the option of working together, asking questions, going their separate ways, or really doing whatever they wanted to. True, they were on mission in a potentially hostile environment, but they had full control of the direction of what their course of action was going to be.
OOC Again: If you guys stick together, we'll stick to a posting order. If you guys break apart for any length of time or for any reason we'll keep the posting order loose and I'll respond to your posts as you post.
{Map} This is the current Map. You'll notice that most of it is blank and it is only like 9 boxes. As you explore, I'll fill in the areas that you've been to as well as expand the map to include farther off places. Because I'm lazy and you don't need to be restricted to a limited space for your adventure to take place in. Australia is a Continent, after all. Each square is about a square mile, give or take. If you guys go your separate ways, I'll give you each a copy of your explored map. If not, then I'll just keep the one. Also, you that have Energy Sensory (read, Kitai only) will get blips on your energy radar on the map. So each post, Kitai will be able to react to things that he senses off in the distance.

Legend: The X's are places that you've been or explored, or just places that are easy to notice. The color is going to be mostly Tan, representing desert. The Airport is just outside of town, in a lot of sand, so it's a tan colored X. To the east of where you are is just Water, so it's a blue colored X. Energy Sensory Blips will be red Circles. I'll give you more information as you need it, or you can just ask for more, of course.

Instantly Siegfried's eyes went to the man who dared to insult Kazura with such a greeting. His eyes were filled with rage towards the man. How dare he act like that in front of their king he would need to be taught a lesson. However in front of Kazura he wouldn't act at all. It wasn't his place to punish those who spoke without knowing their place in front of the king. However he knew later on he would teach the man a lesson. The other man that came in was rather silent, he didn't speak nor offer any sign of respect either. At the very least he was less offensive then the man who screamed and yelled..
Kazura spoke and told him that these two were his coworkers and that he had to work with them. There was no way he could work with these two. They had no sense of respect, he wanted to say something to Kazura, but he held his tongue. He knew that his king knew best. Finally Kazura spoke of the mission he had gathered them all for. The reason that they all were here. He smiled as he heard the details, there was something going on in a place. Hell was involved something he had thought he had been dealing with before.
After hearing all of Kazura's speech he stood up and had a wide smile across his face. “I shall not fail you my liege. Those foul demons from hell shall be dealt with. Along with thy wish for the capture of some of them.” Invigorated by the mission before him he gladly went to the roof and got on the helicopter. Even if he had a hate of using these foul dragons, he knew that his king was waiting for him and that he needed to get on with the mission. He didn't make a sound or a fuss the entire ride on the plane. Choosing to ignore the other two that he had to travel with.
Upon arriving he took a step out into the heat, his clothing wasn't suited to this sort of place at all, but he wouldn't complain. There was a rather friendly woman who met the three of them. She apparently was working with his king and offered to answer any questions. He only needed two things from her. “My lady, if you would be so kind. I need only two things from thee. A map of this land and the locations of where the foul demon spawn hath been seen.” He wasn't sure of how the land was here and needed information, he wasn't about to wander about like a wild dog without knowing where he needed to go.

As soon as the albino heard the word 'coworker', he knew this mission was going to be nine kinds of trying to f*** his day over. For one, this guy was bowing. Bowing, really!? Kiss a$$ little toad, glaring up at him from the floor. Whatever, just as long as he didn't get in the way, he could pretend he was a fish wearing eight thongs riding a unicycle with a pizza for a wheel for all he cared. Kitai's head jerked, ever so slightly. 'If he wastes a perfectly good pizza like that, I'll tear him a new mouth hole.....never waste my cheese. NOW I WANT CHEESE!' He thought to himself, as Jack narrated his thoughts.
And as for the ninja wannabe over to the side-IS THAT ROBIN!?What?! NONONONO! NO! This is NOT Robin! He is not real, QUIT BREAKING THE FOURTH F***ING WALL!OhhhHh~, when I get my arms around him, I'm gonna show him a REAL fun time~. Jill looked at Marcus with hungry eyes, and despite them being hidden, he would still be able to feel her stare. The wolfish grin didn't help matters. 'We are not sleeping with a man, you wench! I am not going to sleep with a man!HA, like 'm givin either yall a choice! And she wasn't talking about Kitai just now.
As the two continued to argue on with on another, Kitai was deadly focused, for one, very important reason: Hell. If there was one thing the madman hated more than those samurai Heretics and Xcution combined, it was this. Someone was screwing with what should not be screwed. Like that librarian who kept kicking him out of the library when he was twelve for setting off the fire alarms with-'....what?' So it was very IMPORTANT, that his mind PAY ATTENTION to this task at hand! Kitai chose to ignore the random thought in favor of looking serious.
If Jill was doing that same, instead of arguing with Jack, she'd probably be drooling at the thought of extra cash for getting Kazura leftovers. "Hehehehe, sure thing Ka-zu-ra, I'll grab you a, doggy bag. Hehehehe." The wrath chuckled darkly, still grinning. "I'm sure you can work with the bits we can scrounge up." He was going to have a fun time killing the hounds of Hell. And the Kangaroos too. "I wonder if the have demon Kawallas? I wonder if they're purple?" He wondered aloud, before chuckling at the mental picture.
Regardless, Kitai headed out with the others. To the roof. In the helicopter. Ugh. "Ugh!" He groaned, as he boarded the flying vehicle. While hos other two companions were silent during the ride to the airport, Kitai was anything but. "Uggggggggggggh. Where is this stupid place? This thing is so slooooooooow! I but I could get there faster by RUNNING! HEY, WOULD YOU HURRY THIS F***ING THING UP!? I'M DYING OF OLD AGE!" He complained, likely annoying his 'companions' and most certainly pissing off the driver, who was glaring at the grinning man with untold hatred.
Things didn't get better at the airport. "HEY! You lose my s*** and I'ma coming for you f***ers! YOU HEAR ME!" Having several heated arguments with the airport security, and one very close call with them recognizing him from an earlier incident that shall not be discussed-'It was just the one airplane!'-NOT. BE. DISCUSSED. After said arguments, the fullbringer finally boarded the plane, were he suffered through HOURS of endless boredom. But there was a light! The plane had landed! He was free! Until a hostess informed him, that they were simply making a stop to refuel. Kitai very nearly ran to the cockpit to hijack the vehicle, with only Jill's 'subtle' reminder, that Kazura would make him pay for the damages.
He angrily returned to his seat.
His smile looked murderous, scaring the piss out of the guy who took the window seat next to him.
After ANOTHER few hours, the reached their destination. He was off the metal cage before they even touched ground, forcing the blasted doors to open for him, jumping thirty feet to the ground, slamming the door shut behind him, and running for their destination, yelling, 'I'm free, I"M FREE!', as he waved his hands in the air. "WHAT ABOUT ARE S*** YOU DUMB A$$!?" Jill screeched. "OH S***!" He quickly returned to the airport, waiting for both his luggage, and his coworkers. He hated the waiting.
Another ten minutes is all it took them to arrive at the edge of the town of Brisbane. Their guide, a woman known as Cooper, welcomed the three. 'Chick's got a dude's name. She'd better not be the one 'hind all this s***.Don't be absurd you dolt. Not everything is the byproduct of humanity's interference. Besides, why would the one orchestrating this devious plot point us in the right direction?Whateva, you'll see.' She grumbled, choosing instead to stare at the woman with her recently purchased x-ray contacts.
Then the knight started talking. "Quit being a kiss a$$ Frenchy. The pretty lady doesn't need you trying to get in her pants like you're trying with Kazura." He says, politely taking a map from the blushing woman. "Also, Miss Smith, I need a truck for samples, if you would." She leaves to try and find what she can give. "Okay, hehe, just so we can get the f*** out of here, hmmpm, I say we split up into two groups, *giggle*. First, hee, we cover the edges of the maps, then at the end, we converge towards the middle and head back." Aside from his smile, Kitai is focused. Purging the land of evil? That's not something you can afford to screw up. He turned to the shorter fullbringers to see their response.

Marcus ate up each word that Kazura spoke, memorizing the details of their mission. Signs of Hell always foreshadowed a dark future. The gravity of the situation was certainly heavy, so Marcus decided that he would have to exercise caution. However, neither of his allies were very cautious. Kitai was as unstable as humanly possible while Siegfried was prone to strong emotional reactions and mood swings. Both were stubborn. Marcus went over possible scenarios or ways to keep the three together, but none seemed likely. Kitai and Sigfried were inevitably going to split apart, and in that scenario, Marcus knew that Sigfried required his assistance more. After all, he was the weakest in the group regarding pure combat strength according to the latest files on him. Marcus experienced Kitai’s strength first hand, and while he isn’t a reliable comrade, he has a much better chance of keeping himself alive than Sigfried did. Plus, Marcus wasn’t quite at full strength yet either, so there was a possibility that he would require Sigfried’s support if things got too heated. Hopefully, it would never come to that.
The whole journey to the airplane and the actual flight were both riddled with Kitai-related events. He was either obnoxiously complaining or causing trouble. Marcus couldn’t do anything to stop the man, though, so he simply moved on and acted on his own. If Kitai could make it to Australia, fine. If not, so be it. When they touched down in Australia, Marcus was wearing his carbon-plated Uzaki Enterprise armor with the midnight blue “v” streak across his chest. He was armed with his kunai as well as the loaded kunai canon strapped to his forearm. He also had his two special blades gifted to him from Kazura himself while he was recovering. This would be the first time that Marcus tested how sharp those blades really were. He doubled checked that all his gear was on him, including his Uzaki Enterprise communicator. After confirming, he prepared to follow the other two men out of the plane and kick off. Welcome back, Marcus, he thought excitedly to himself.
Marcus grabbed a backpack filled with water, some protein bars and plenty of space for any samples he might need. He had no other luggage. If he needed clothes, he’d buy them, but the main objective was to finish the mission as soon as possible. If they could leave without spending very long in the small continent, Marcus would be pleased. He exited the plane and moved as a blur through the sky, staying close to the airport buildings to stay hidden from plain sight. By the time Kitai and Sigfried got to the designated location in Brisbane, Marcus was already their hiding until his allies arrived. He could travel on foot faster than they could get through airport security and claim their luggage, which took a pretty damn long time.
Marcus emerged alongside the other two men and nodded a shy greeting at Cooper. Kitai wasn’t as polite. Marcus couldn’t do much to stop him, though. He almost questioned Kazura’s judgment in sending Kitai on such a mission but quickly suppressed that thought. He can’t be upset with Kazura when Kitai’s clearly the source of his frustration. However, Marcus had to go with the flow. He stood on a platform of air ground to see the map over Kitai’s shoulder. With his stealth skills, Kitai wouldn’t even realize that Marcus was behind him reading the map. Once the albino explained his plan, Marcus nodded in agreement. He normally would move on foot from this point onward, but Sigfried most likely couldn’t keep up. Therefore, he gave the strange man from the past the opportunity to ask Cooper for any assistance. He’d follow Sigfried’s lead from now on out of convenience and not much else. If things got dangerous, Marcus would then take control.

Cooper blushed at Siegfried's chivalry and polite requests, and walked over to a table and grabbed an atlas. She brought it back towards the man, only to have Kitai up and take it out of her hands, snapping her out of the daydream she was in. She didn't seem to mind, though, and just went back to the table for another atlas which she brought back to Siegfried. She pulled a sharpie out of her back pocket and began to circle... most of the map. "Sightings have been anywhere and everywhere. They start just outside urban areas and seem to mostly attack people who stray from the dense population areas in the open wilderness, but we have no clues, yet, as to the source or the cause."
When she was finished with Siegfried, she moved onto Kitai's request. She pulled out a set of keys and tossed it to him. "Of course. Kazura thought you might want something like that. It's nothing much, but the van does have a bit of storage space if you're just going to be 3 people. Or less, if you guys are splitting up. The air conditioning mostly works, so that's a plus. Also, as a tip, since you mentioned the edges of the map and coming back to the center... Australia's really big, mate. Travelling and searching the whole coast is going to take you weeks. I suggest that you head west towards Toowoomba. They had a recent big attack."
When she was finished, she looked towards Marcus, but he didn't ask her anything, so she just shrugged and waited for any further questions.
Additionally, Kitai and Siegfried now have an Atlas (if Marcus wants his own copy he can request one or just go to the table and pick one up). With an Atlas, you can now do whatever you want in Australia. If you do a OOC google search for a map of australia, in any high or low level of detail that you want, you have that IC in your atlas. You could get specific roads, specific cities, anything that you want. The finer details of the place will be handled by the map I generate. And as always, post planning to head somewhere, not driving and getting to the place all in one post, because events and whatnot.
Siegfried, looked over at Kitai after he rudely snatched the map out of Cooper. Under his breath he muttered the words “Crooked-Nosed Knave” Turning back to Cooper he gratefully took the map from her and even thanked her for it. He watched as she circled a majority of the map making it as places where the demons had been seen. To see such a large area marked took him back a bit. This wasn't a single sort of attack, no this was an all out siege on this land. This changed everything, his entire plan had to be changed.
As the insufferable loud mouth kept on going about needing some sort of dragon to help haul the demons away Siegfried instead kept the map opened and started to look over the large area that they all had to check for these beasts. The plan that the man had was rather crude and pointless. He simply sighed at being stuck with suck a teammate. Finally looking up at Kitai he spoke. “If thee hath everything thy need then make haste I hath other means of procuring these foul demons.” No matter what Kitai would say back to him Siegfried would remain silent and ignore the man. If he approached and tried to attack Siegfried would respond by stating that he would tell Kazura of this betrayal.
Siegfried had no plans of letting Kitai in on what he had in mind nor asking for the man's help. He had already proven to be untrustworthy with his actions and his tongue. The other man had remained silent, for now he could trust this individual. Once Kitai finally left he would speak to Cooper once more. “The situation here is most dire. My lord sent us believing that your land was under an attack, however thy words speak of this being a siege on this land. Wandering the land shall prove to be fruitless and only drain mine and my ally's moral.”
He grabbed the same type of writing instrument Cooper had used before and placed it on his copy of the map. “ If you would be so kind, miss Cooper. I would like to inquire about the dates of the attacks and where they happened. Those foul demons should have a nest, or at least a pattern. Something to help track them down.” He had been here before. Dealing with an attack on a land, the last time he went blindly into a nest without preparing it cost him too much, he wasn't going to make the same mistake again.

'Ohhh, these two were beginning to grate on his nerves. This 'Singed-fried' chicken in a bloody cape was as annoying as he was short. Very. Mumbling comments under his breath, needlessly flirting with foreigners, HIS F**KING GOGGLES! *ahem* Mmhmm. The albino wasn't a fan. Then there was the one floating besides him, looking deep over his shoulder. Was he standing on a stool he got from nowhere? I don't even know, and it' starting to-''JACK, SHUT TH' F**K, UP! The narrator was silenced by what was assumed to be a harpy, from the screeching alone. And Kitai would have been grateful for his thoughts no longer being narrated, if it wasn't for the sounds of cats and dogs fighting to take its place.
Kitai's eyes narrowed into an angry glare. He decided to take his frustration out on the closest thing possible that he didn't immediately need. Hand moving like a snake, Kitai grabbed Marcus's face, and using precise movements, spun around the other fullbringer, so that he was standing behind the man. He wrapped himself around Marcus in such a way, that he was hanging off of his shoulders, and crossed his arms over his chest. Like a woman might do do a close friend. Or very close, in the case that the albino was rubbing his finger over the other fullbringer's heart. With Kitai's strength, Marcus would know how much of a threat that would be.
"Darlin..." Jill whispered seductively into his ear, breath brushing against his flesh. "If'n ya wanna get, closer ta lil ol' me," She said, pulling him tighter. Painfully tighter. "...All ya had ta do, was ask. Kukukku~." She laughed provocatively, sounding almost exactly like a woman, as she licked his earlobe. Then she dropped him, letting him flee from her advances, but not without swatting him in a place she doubted he wanted to get swat, especially with someone using 300 str. If the other fullbringer looked back towards the albino, he would see said albino mouthing, 'don't read over my shoulder'. 'Maybe that'll teach him some manners.' He thought hypocritically.
What else happened... Oh, the flirt went and said he had something to carry the bodies in. This gave Kitai free rein to take the van that Kicker offered. He was toying with the idea of letting those two take it, since he was more than strong enough to carry a small mountain of corpses with his strength, and a good net. "Well okay then!" He said, clapping his hands together, as he put the map under his arm. He was smiling brightly, something that never ended well. "Since you have something to carry the 'samples' in, I guess I'll take the car with the air conditioning, and you can walk in the blistering heat! Have fun with that! Heheheehe..." He chuckled at them both.
As he walked around, searching for the vehicle, he pondered on what to do next. He had been planning on driving around towards anything he sensed even vaguely. But, that was his plan thinking this would be a short trip. Now this chick was telling him that this could take a few weeks! HE DIDN'T HAVE THAT MUCH TIME TO SPARE! So, in light of new information, he just decided that he would just follow her advice and head over to snaggle rock, or whatever she called it.' 'Toowoomba.' Jill corrected, sounding nonplused. 'What does Willy Wonka have to do with this?' Jack asked in confusion. Jill just stared at him from inside their head.
Kitai grimaced in pain, as the two began fighting again. "WOW she sounds pissed!" He said, wondering what Jack did to get her to scream THAT loud. The fullbringer had managed to find the van after a minute or two of looking around. The van wasn't the newest model, slightly beat up, with a brown fur interior. Maybe he would be able to avoid getting demon blood on most of it. He shrugged, still smiling a creepy smile. He got in the vehicle, and drove around to the front. If the two hadn't run off before he got back, he would offer once, for them to drive with him. If they weren't there, or said no, he would simply drive off to the 'Toowoomba', circled on the map.

(( OOC: I realized that I posted the wrong stats for Marcus in my first post. I definitely wouldn’t be entering him to an adventure if he had 450 SP xD I fixed that up though ))
Marcus was quick to react to the flash of movement that came from Kitai’s side. The instant he saw the man’s hand exceed natural speeds, he had already sprung into action. Considering that Marcus is behind Kitai, the albino didn’t have the clearest sight of his target. Marcus ducked under the larger man’s hand while his air ground gave way beneath him, and the odds were that Kitai only saw a blur as Marcus’s hand fell. If Kitai continued to move in an effort to get behind Marcus, the assassin simply summersaulted to safety the moment his feet hit the floor.
Learning from his initial mistake, Marcus grabbed his own map from the table so that he could keep his distance from Kitai. At least now, Kitai would understand that Marcus was not going a sitting duck. The assassin looked the map over while Siegfried gathered data from Cooper. It sounded like the best way to understand what was going on was to use themselves as bait. Toowoomba would likely have some straggling aggressors, especially considering the large scale of the attack.
Kitai declared that he would take the car, essentially abandoning Siegfried. Marcus wasn’t about to leave a fellow Uzaki Enterprise member behind, but confronting Kitai wasn’t a great idea either. His best option if Kitai left was to find a car dealership in Brisbane and buy a vehicle. As the albino walked away, Marcus awkwardly shrugged at Siegfried and murmured, “L-let him g-go…” At least that’s what he said. Siegfried heard something completely different. “L-little Bo P-peep.” Such was Marcus’s curse. For a second, he almost forgot it existed.
When Kitai came back around, Marcus hesitantly accepted his offer and hopped in the front seat. Siegfried could help navigate from behind, but seating those two together would be suicidal. If Siegfried refused to join them, Marcus would simply gesture for him to enter the car while pulling out and pointing to his Uzaki Enterprise identification card. It was a symbol of their unity. We may be a very rough team, but we’re still a team with a task to accomplish. If Kazura means something to Siegfried, he has to get in the car. Marcus’s mind was full of words that were never said. He had to simply hope that Siegfried understood.

Even from the start of the mission, the three seemed destined to be a divided house. Siegfried stubbornly waited for Kitai to leave before addressing Cooper, asking for more information about the attacks. She provided what she could to the best of her ability, but she had to admit something. "I wasn't joking when I said that we had no clues, really... Even our best Analysts cannot find a pattern in the attacks or even predict when the next one will happen. They seem to happen completely randomly." Filling in the dates, Siegfried would see that sometimes there would be mere hours in between attacks, but at the longest there was three days in between sightings.
Maybe this is why Uzaki Enterprises hadn't been reached until now. At first, it seemed like isolated incidents. Then it started to feel like a problem that the local spiritual population could handle. Only recently was it starting to feel out of control to the point where even the non-spiritual population was getting suspicious. The Fullbringer representatives from Kazura would have their work cut out for them. Siegfried, despite being talented at analyzing a battle, would find nothing of note or any sort of pattern in the attacks. Maybe he needed the assistance of the others, despite their actions and his words.
Kitai went to get the car, and should probably find it to his liking. The van had four fairly comfortable seats, ample room in the back, and working power windows and AC. While not luxurious at all, it would get the job done and had enough luxuries to make a long road trip comfortable. While the multiple personalitied man brought the car around, Marcus decided to join him and tried to wordlessly communicate to the self titled Knight of Kazura. Whether or not that would have any positive effect remained to be seen. It was now up to Siegfried...
As he listened to what Cooper had to say and the information she gave him he noticed something. Something that they hadn't been told, these attacks were consistent and random. What this meant to him is that there would be little point in going to the last place the demons attacked. If all these attacks were to believed then there would be another one very shortly. Chasing after the last attacks would only result in chasing the tails of the demons long gone. Yes he knew that there would be some things of value there to learn about the attacks there and people to help, but right now his time would be better spend trying to track down some signs of a nest for the beasts.
He had made up his mind and was ready to set off on his own path to find another town, so when he saw the metallic beast driven by the mad man waiting for him out in the street. Without saying a word he took off to the south. He wouldn't even humor the idea of speaking to the crazed man, and after Marcus went with him there was nothing more to say he had his own path. There was a town to the south called Miami and he was going to start there looking for clues. It had been one of the few places not yet attacked by the demons, so it was due to being attacked.
