Tsukuyomi moved throughout the wilderness at a rather slow pace for the moment. He had been out walking through side roads over the last few hours on a small assignment given to him by Kimiko. For one reason or another Captain Kimiko had sent him out to these outcast roads in order to make new updated maps of the areas. He knew that parts of Soul Society weren't all that well known especially in the wilderness yet it seemed quite strange. At least that was what he though when he got assignment it this morning.
At the moment though Tsukuyomi didn't have that feeling nor the opinion of the mission anymore. He had been out for the last few hours simply waling around and drawing on paper to make down the routes he was on and found. In all honesty there wasn't really all that much that he had found that wasn't on the maps already and what he found to have changed was very minimal. So for the most part he was simply having a nice time walking through the wilderness enjoying natural like he normally did on his free time.
Nesr was flying over the wilderness of her new home in Soul Society. She was a little surprised by some of the people that she had met there. In the little small cities outside of the bigger, main area, almost all of the people there were afraid of her, running when they saw her. The little ones just stared, but the others would pull them away. She had paid them no mind, since she figured that they knew nothing of Horus or the great honor that was bestowed upon her.
When she met people that came out of the bigger area, they acted much differently. The ones she had met so far didn't immediately run away from her. They simply looked at her and then tried to talk to her. It was like that they knew about her, or other beings like her. It was curious how some would know and others wouldn't. But, she wouldn't dwell on it for long because she saw a nice, juicy rabbit on the path. She angled downwards and swooped in low, with talons outstretched. She then snagged it and landed on a low hanging branch, eating her snack.

Tsukuyomi was continuing his walk throughout the wilderness just minding his own business and making sure where he was, was in fact on the map he held out in front of him. For the most part everything remained the same and the thing things that were catching his actual attention and curiosity were the small animals running around the area. From what he could see there were quite a few rabbits on his way, the occasional mole and he even managed to catch the glimpse of a badger.
Then something else made itself present and Tsukuyomi was actually quite surprised. He had heard of the creatures in the academy yet now that he could actually see it wasn't the same as simply knowing what they were. High in the sky he saw the outline of a large bird like human flying and then moving down towards the grass. It moved just like a hawk yet far slower and simply bigger. AS it soared upwards from the grass though Tsukuyomi managed to catch the glimpse of the rabbit in it's talons and knew what it had been after.
He took off moving as fast as he could while suppressing his reiatsu and moving with every bit of stealth that he could. He knew that stealth right now wasn't going to be easy though. It was bright daylight out and the grass wasn't all that tall and he was moving at a decent clip of speed. So all in all the hawk like beast would probably be able to make him out unless she was thinking of nothing else, but her meal which was a possibility. As he got close to her he stopped about ten feet away watching her eat with his calm gaze fixated on her. "Well this is quite interesting."
Nesr was happily munching away at her meal when she heard something. With the rabbit sticking out of her beak, she looked around, trying to find the source of the sound. She looked through the trees at her eye level and then she looked down on ground level and noticed someone looking out of a bush. She cocked her head towards the person, jumping down from the tree easily, letting her wings open. When they opened, they let her fall slowly down towards the ground.
Once she actually landed, she held her staff in her left hand, grabbing at the rabbit in her beak with her right. She then started to rip more at the rabbit, slowly starting to chew at it while she slowly walked towards the person. She was a little wary about this new person, but she did have an advantage. She had wings. The wings would give her an added edge, as well as aiding her in getting away from him quickly, if the need arose. She didn't think it would.
She then knelt to be on eye level with him. "Me Nesr. Who you? You from big part in center? Look like it." She was pretty much asking him his name and if he belong to Soul Society proper. From the way he looked, she immediately assumed that he was a part of the people that lived there. Once she was done talking, she moved the rabbit back to her beak and ripped at it again. She wasn't going to let this guy interrupt her little snack, she was hungry.

Tsukuyomi now within a moderate distance from the avian beast could make out more of its appearance and was starting to get the impression that it might actually be female in nature. It was in the following moment that the avian seemed to notice him and then allow itself to fall from the tree branch. It extended its wings and Tsukuyomi took notice of how doing such a thing had allowed it to slow its descent to the ground so that it landed nicely.
The avian had a rather big staff in its left hand and the way that it was holding itself it took a rather serious role in being able to wield it. Whether or not that meant it was actually skillful in its use was up to question though and Tsukuyomi wasn't really here to find out about that. Fighting an animal of nature wasn't something that he wanted to do. Nature was beautiful and he wasn't like the other Shinigami who would more than likely attack a beats on sight simply for being different.
He was fairly certain now though that the avian was actually female and when he came to that conclusion she kept eating the rabbit that she had caught. She then knelt downwards and starred into his eyes. He did the same and could tell from them that the avian was full of curiosity and adventure. His would be rather different as they appeared somewhat cold and harsh yet calm and intelligent. When she spoke Tsukuyomi had to take a moment to think over what she had said in order to respond.
"My name is Tsukuyomi. I'm a . . Shinigami from the big white center." Tsukuyomi was having difficulty for some reason. When he tried to call himself a Shinigami for one reason or another the image of the forest caught on fire by black flames rushed to the forefront of his consciousness. He wasn't a Shinigami. Not a complete one. He knew after meeting Vesta that he was something different, but no one could know about it. He had to make sure about that he had already messed up enough. "So what is it like living out here Nesr?"
Nesr was chewing on her rabbit while this new person spoke to her. His name was interesting. She cocked her head to the side, trying to say his name in her mind. Once he said that he was a shinigami from the big white center, she cocked her head to the other side. She had no idea what a shinigami was. Is that what the people that lived in that big center area was called? She didn't know because she never asked and most of the people she met didn't talk about them.
She threw the rabbit that she was eating into a nearby bush. Another animal could finish off what she had started. This new person captured her interest more than her snack did. She moved her head around, looking this new person over. He was a male, but she had never seen one of his kind come out this far from the center before. It was a weird curiosity that she was going to ask him about.
"So.....people from center called shinigami.... You Tsuk...Tsik....Tsukiyami.....however say your name. Nesr not live forest. Nesr live mountains. Nesr nest there. Nesr like there. You, Tsukiyimi, how live in center? Why here?" She was pretty much telling Tsukuyomi that she made her nest up in the mountains, which he could see behind her. She also asked why would someone like him travel so far away from their normal territory to come out here.

Tsukuyomi stood there watching the hawk beast as she continued to eat the rabbit that she had caught. After a few moments though she seemed to be content with throwing away what was left of it into a bush that was near the both of them. After that she began to speak to him and it wasn't all that difficult to understand what she was actually saying. It wasn't easy either though, but when he thought about her words things became more or less clear. while she spoke he nodded his head to what she was saying making sure that she got that he was listening and could understand her.
When she was done though she finished on a question and Tsukuyomi simply looked around the both of them at the grass and trees and the open sky. "Really I'm just out here for the moment because I like nature. That and I'm updating a map." He turned back to Nesr wondering how common it was to actually run into one of the beasts in the wilderness. He knew that lately it was being reported slightly more, but still this was his first time meeting one and it was rather exciting.
While Nesr was talking, it seemed like this boy was listening to her, since he was nodding his head along to what she was saying. It was one of the first times, if not the first time, that she talked to someone that was actually actively listening to her. It was a little refreshing, but a little weird, since she wasn't really used to it. She lightly scratched at her arm while he spoke.
He didn't talk much, but he said that he liked nature and was updating a map. What was a map? She moved her right hand up and touched a claw to her beak, thinking on it. She slightly remembers something that was called a map. If she remembered right, people would use it so they wouldn't get lost in new areas of their surroundings. Nesr never really got lost, since she could fly above most of the obstacles that she had ever run into.
The map intrigued her. She walked up to the shinigami and touched her beak to the map. She would try to sniff it and see if it smelled off or different. She didn't find anything weird about it, just that it smelled a lot different than what she was used to. She would then stay bent down, since she would've bent down to smell the map, to look the shinigami in the eye. "Is Tsikyu good person?"

Tsukuyomi watched as he spoke to Nesr explanation everything about him that she wanted to know. The first thing that he had to duty to at the moment was updating the map in his hands, but the first thing he would do for his respect of nature was to continue speaking to what he might call the ambassador of nature. Nesr without a doubt probably didn't see herself like that, but in Tsukuyomi's perspective that was exactly what she was.
She looked from what he could gather as he spoke somewhat confused or at least was trying to think of something. She actually scratched the side of her big beak and from that Tsukuyomi was sure the gesture was comparable to when an individual would rub their chin while thinking over something that took a good deal of attention. Whether or not he was correct though didn't really matter due to Nesr bending down in the following moment.
He was holding the map in his right hand curled up since he was speaking to Nesr and it would be rude to keep it out in front of him while they held a conversation. Now though it seemed that Nesr wished to smell the scent of the map for one reason or another. Tsukuyomi brought his hand up a small amount to help out NEsr even if it was just a little bit. After she was done smelling it though she didn't raise back up to her incredibly height like Tsukuyomi would have thought.
No instead she kept herself bent forwards in the same position that she was in so that she could smell the map. Her eyes gazed up at his and Tsukuyomi could see the expression on her avian face shift to what he assumed to be serious. Her gaze without a doubt was serious. In the following moment though she spoke and Tsukuyomi understood why her expression and eyes suddenly adapted to that of seriousness. Tsukuyomi smiled at her. "I try to do good wherever I go Nesr. I won't hurt you. Why do you want to know?"
Nesr asked the question and was almost surprised at it. She had thought it but honestly wasn't thinking about asking it out loud. But, it was something that was always on her mind. She had wondered how the people in the center were, if they were mean or good. She knew next to nothing about them, which is probably the reason why she asked the question in the first place.
She cocked her head while he answered her. What he said definitely made her feel a lot better about the people that lived in the center. Though, she didn't want to assume that what he was saying affected everyone in the center place, at least having one decent person there made her feel better. She smiled, well tried to smile as much as she could with her beak.
Facial expressions were pretty hard for her, since her beak couldn't move around like a muzzle or a mouth. He would see the edges of the beak, where it connected to her face, turn up slightly like a smile. She then looked him in the face as she stood up to her full height. "Nesr curious. Nesr not know people from middle. Nesr wanted know. Nesr think you nice." She then tried to smile again.
She then walked a few feet from the shinigami, ruffling her wings as she did so, as well as her tailfeathers. She then turned back around to face him. She was pretty much asking him if all the people from the center were nice like him. She had never been to the center before, so she wanted to know how all of the people from there acted. She hoped that he would be what everyone acted like, but she could be wrong. "What now?"

Tsukuyomi continued to stand in front of Nesr as she thought over what he had said. When she actually spoke Tsukuyomi had a bit of difficulty trying to figure out what she was asking this time. It was much more difficult than the last two questions that she had asked him. It took him a few moments of steady thought in order to process everything and than realize what it was she wanted to know. Tsukuyomi thought over the other Shinigami though and knew the truth.
While he loved nature and wouldn't do anything against it unless he was defending himself the other Shinigami weren't like him. There were others that respected nature and liked to be in it like his Captain, but not many of them. Shinigami like him were outnumbered by the brainless brutes that simply enjoyed destroying everything in whatever way they felt was most satisfying. So after he came to that realization he shook his head to the sides slowly. "Sadly, there aren't many like me."
It was then that Nesr started to walk away and after she stopped moving she asked him what they were going to do now. Tsukuyomi though over that for a moment and realized that what he had just been thinking about before regarding the Shinigami wasn't something he could accept easily. Nesr was part of nature and nature needed to be safe and protected. Whether or not he was going to receive punishment for what he was thinking he didn't know all he knew was that it felt right at the moment. "How would you like to learn to move faster Nesr?"
Nesr was looking at Tsukiyomi, waiting to hear his answers. He seemed to be pretty deep in thought about it. She hoped that she didn't say anything wrong, since she didn't really know any better. She waited fairly patiently, or what she would consider fairly patiently, and looked back in Tsukiyomi's general direction. She saw a new emotion come over his face. One she hadn't seen before.
It was sadness. Now, Nesr had never really been sad since her rebirth as an eagle. Her human memories are still fuzzy, but she couldn't remember a time she was like that either. So, she truly didn't know about sadness. So, when he said the phrase, 'sadly there aren't many like me,' she was trying to figure out what sadly meant. His eyes seemed downcast and he wasn't standing as straight as he was before.
So, it seemed that this 'sad' emotion was characterized by slouching and just generally looking down. She would keep that in her brain for future reference. She also pulled out her notebook and quickly jotted down some notes about it in hieroglyphs, for better memory. When she asked what was going to happen next, he mentioned moving faster. Her eyes lit up and she ruffled her wings/body feathers at the same time. "Nesr go faster?! Yes!!!"

Tsukuyomi stood after he had come to the decision and watched s what he said sunk into Nesr's mind. At the sound of being able to actually go faster than normal though Nesr's expression from what he could tell was virtually on fire with excitement. She even ruffled her feathers and seemed to move in some manner. He didn't have any sort of understanding on what she did meant all he could assume was that it was comparable to how certain people would move their arms up and down when they got excited and needed to vent the excitement physically.
He smiled for a few brief moments as Nesr seemed to be alight with passion at the prospect of being able to move faster. She seemed to be so excited that she didn't really take the time to realize that he hadn't even began to explain to her how she was going to be able to move any faster than she could already normally. Tsukuyomi let her keep with her excited expression and joyfulness for a few more moments though since such a thing was rare at least to his eyes.
Tsukuyomi then raised both of his hands slightly though and extended them towards Nesr just a bit not anywhere near enough towards her though. Tsukuyomi could gather that Nesr was calm and good natured yet he knew that anyone that felt threatened in anyway whether they be Shinigami or beast would strike at the moment of desperation or threat of danger. "Alright Nesr you're going to need to be calm and listen in order to get this to work though. In order for me to teach you how to make yourself go faster you're going to need to listen to what I say now got it?"
Tsukuyomi would wait for a moment giving Nesr the opportunity to calm down and gather herself while also being able to answer him. Hopefully everything would go the way he hoped and he'd be able to teach Nesr how to execute a shunpo at least a bit. He hated the idea that a Shinigami other than himself might one day soon run across her and kill her out of fear or prejudice. "Now have you ever felt like there is some kind of energy inside of you?"
Nesr was so excited at the prospect of going faster than she could already, she didn't even think about how the shinigami might take her excitement. She was pretty much almost jumping up and down, flapping her wings and ruffling her feathers. She was really enjoying the idea of going faster. She loved gliding on the wind, but actually moving faster through the wind was something else she enjoyed.
After taking a minute or two to express how happy she was, she took a breath to try to center herself, but she was still so excited her breathing was still a little hurried. It really wasn't until she saw the man, she calls him T because his name is so hard to pronounce to her, moved his hands up slightly, extending them towards her. She stopped thinking about her reaction and looked at him.
She cocked her head at the puzzling way he was holding his hands. With this distraction, she calmed herself, trying to think why he would do that. Once he did this, he started to talk to her, saying he needed to be calm and to listen. She nodded, trying her best to actually pay attention to what he was telling her. She realized that she was actually going to have to listen to him so she could learn.
She obviously didn't know how he was going to make her go faster, so she needed to listen to him. She nodded again, saying that she would listen to him to the best of her ability. It was then that he asked her if she had felt any kind of energy inside her. She put a claw to her beak, thinking about. She didn't think that she had anything like that in her. "Nesr has feathers. Nesr no energy. Nesr not made energy. Nesr bird, so feathers, silly."
