What a Starting Line-Up We Have [Social, R]

(( OOC: This is a social between all of the Captains to discuss general affairs in Soul Society. I'd post first, but since when is Kagami the first one there? I'll leave first post to another Captain. It takes place in the Squad 13 conference room. ))

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru was in her office in the Tenth Division, working on her normal paperwork and drafting up patrol routes for her squad. Her Haori was in its usual spot, on the back of her chair while she was hunched over her desk. Members of her squad would come in and out, asking questions and then left as quickly as she answered them. It was getting close to the time to leave for the Captain's Meeting. She knew that Captains would meet, but usually, it was at the behest of the Captain Commander and they would all meet in the First Division.

This time, however, Kagami had called the meeting. She didn't know if regular captains could just call a random meeting like this, but since he sent messages out to all the captains, it had to be about something important. Since her squad was one of the closest ones to the actually meeting place, she did a little bit more work before she decided to leave, leaving later than she usually would've liked. Once she was ready, she put her Haori on, straightened it up and left her office. She locked her office door and left a message that she was at the Captain's meeting.

She quickly walked out of her barracks and then made a beeline for the Thirteenth Division. Once she arrived there, members of the squad waved to her and she waved back. One member ran up to her. "Hotaru-taichou, you must be here for Kagami-taichou's meeting. Please follow me to the conference room." He bowed to her and she nodded. She followed him through the division and back to a door. He opened the door and let her in first. She walked in and he shut the door behind her. She guessed that only the Captains were going to be in here.

She looked around the room and there was nothing really fancy in here. There was just the huge conference table, with thirteen chairs, one for each of them. The room was spacious enough to hold the table with extra space to walk around it freely, even though the table took up the entire center of the room. She walked to one of the windows and looked out, not seeing any of the other captains coming. One squad member came in and offered her water. She bowed. "Thank you for the water." She then took a seat near the middle of the table and waited.

Just another day in the life of Squad 2 as the several strike teams were mobilized for group training. Rather than spending that time within the walls of the Seireitei, the Division Captain took it upon herself to have the teams partake in the session within the wilderness of Soul Society. Deep within the horde of trees were filled with thick brushes and a few weakened branches that offered perfect opportunities to have each member to remain on high alert. Including the nature of the Hollows that dwell within the wilderness, pretty much anything could happen. This training was meant to move along the tree lines in broad daylight. As for Harle herself, she stood on the highest branch to simply oversee the progress of her teams. But this session served another purpose, an operations base that would be constructed by Squad 2 that would be located away from the Seireitei.

Harle already had plans underway to begin its construction, but at the same time she also oversaw the flow of information about it. Obtaining funds was not going to be an issue since their division take on missions of sabotage, assassinations, espionage, and other special operations which the other divisions did not need to know of. So far the funds and a good location were the only issues that she had to overcome, but that would soon become a trivial matter with what was to come. Normally the Jester would have no such ideas wandering around in the depths of her mind, but as of current events she was only insuring the stability and the survival of Squad 2. More than that, they needed a place to fallback to should their situation become sour.

As the separate teams continued to move fluidly around the stem of the trees, a courier arrived to deliver an message. It appeared as though the Captain of Squad 13, Kagami, issued a meeting between the Captains. Was a tad curious for the reasoning why they would need one since issues were normally addressed at the consent of the Captain Commander. So they were considered to be the more prime concerns that had to be issued for all of Soul Society. Perhaps this was more of a personal issue between the Captains themselves. Should be entertaining for a bit. After issuing her orders to the assault teams, the French Captain sped off as quickly as she could to arrive on the Squad 13 grounds.

Immediately upon her arrive she found her escorts who would lead her to where the supposive meeting was to take place. Before entering the woman placed an order of French Vanilla coffee, twisting the knob to pass through the door frame. Upon entering she soon discovered the purple head of one of her fellow Captains, Hotaru, whom she had only met once before they became Captains. Good to see a friendly face, but at the moment Harle was not in the mood to take a seat. In other words, Harle used her manipulation of her reiatsu to walk up the conference room wall to simply hang batgirl style from the ceiling. A friendly hello was issued before removing a trio of rubber balls from her military uniform.

Even out of her makeup Harle was still a jester in heart, so she could nothing much but strike up a conversation while juggling the small balls in her hands, "Bonjuer Madame Kuchiki. Do you haz any idea why wez will be call here?" Again, her heavy french accent poured through her pursed crimson lips while flicking her head several times to adjust her limp shoulder length hair. Hopefully those concerns would be brought up as soon as possible since Harle still had much more planning to take care of for her Squad and self.
