Here in Karakura town there was a rather good deal of corporations that just seemed to keep gathering around in the center of the town itself. They were making it more populated with people growing in size and value. Everything seemed to be going great as long as the corporations continued to grow in size and value. That was why the death last night was being kept just wraps and no one outside of the police department not even the media knew about it. Nor did the family of the businessman that was killed to everyone else in the town nothing at all out of the normal had happened last night other then the man not returning home.
Soul Society had learned of the recent killings on high class fullbringers and to handle the situation had sent in two different Shinigami in order to investigate and hopefully come up with who was targeting them. They were under orders to find out who and only engage in combat if attacked. On the other side of things Tsubaki had been sent on this assignment from Xcution. Well specifically the leader of Xcution Satsujun himself had assigned Tsubaki with the task. So she would have to be very good on this assignment and prove that she was as good as everyone was beginning to believe.
On the eightieth floor of the building though there was a large series of rooms. One of which was an executive room that was very large being about twenty feet squad. It was as if two rooms had been conjoined together. When the three individuals got there they would find the door to the office blocked off with crime scene tap yet they would easily be able to go through it without breaking the tape. Once inside they would find the crime scene and discover that the man's body was not there, but there was a large pool of blood on the floor and some things were scattered all over as if a fight had broken out inside.

Tsubaki was tired. Why? Because she hadn't slept in four fucking nights. Literally, she'd gone four nights without sleeping. She was almost there, about to make a break through in her research, but she couldn't afford to sleep, and risk losing the progress. What was the research? It was regarding Kido, and it's limits. Specifically, her own Kido limits. She knew that at some points, Kido became painful to use. And something about that pain reminded her of something, but she couldn't figure out what it was, and it was killing her.
Unfortunately, Tsubaki's research was interrupted by a phone call. And while most of the time, she would have ignored the quiet vibration, this frequency was one she had to accept. Satsujun, the head of Xcution, the CEO, was calling her. And he was someone that she could never afford to say no to. Because without Satsujun, she would be rotting in Prison, without memories, without hope of recovery. She'd be a hasbeen, a cautionary tale. But because of him, she was back, and growing stronger.
And so, she took the call. And unfortunately, she had to drop everything and leave. This was business. This was research. This was her life in Xcution. She arrived at the scene of the crime before anyone else could, Tsubaki was always early. She ducked the tape, entered the crime scene, and started surveying things. A glance around the area with her energy sensory would show her if there was any reiatsu that was out of the ordinary. She expected to find Fullbringer Reiatsu, but if there was anything else? She would know.
Beyond that? She was relying on her analytical skills. She examined the blood splatters to see what information she could glean. There was no body, which was another issue altogether, but she'd focus on that in a few moments. For now, she was collecting information from what was present, rather than what wasn't present. The things that were scattered around: did they have any significance? Or were they just in the way of the fight? Was there a murder weapon to be found? Tsubaki was on alert and in full search.

When the Soul Society sent Shōkan into the World of the Living, he became quite interested. It wasn't often that shinigami were sent to investigate the murder's of humans. Usually they didn't question how they died, and simply sent them on in the cycle of death, but this time was different... From the reports he had recieved, Shōkan understod that multiple high class gullbringers had been murdered recently, a worrisome prospect. The Soul Society had begun the expect that these were less murders, and more full on assasinations. So, of course, they first suspected Xcution, and left it at that. They had no time for the petty affairs of mortals. It was when Xcution contacted them and asked for assistance that the shinigami had begun worrying, and quickly dispatched Shōkan and some other shinigami.
Leaving early, Shōkan arrived in the human world, and moved quickly towards the crime scene. There, he simply walked past the officers, not even noticing his presence (sometimes invisibility to the spiritually unaware really had it's perks). Arriving at what was obviously the room that the fullbringer was murdered in, Shōkan ducked under the crime scene tape, and walke dinto the room. THere, he found not only the crime scene, but also a woman investigating. She was somewhat fair, and very solemn, with dark hair and pale skin. Judging by the blade at her side, and the limited information he could gain from her spiritual pressure, Shōkan guessed that she was a rogue. How... Distasteful, traitors were always so bothersome. Now was not the time however.
"I assume you are the agent Xcution sent?" Shōkan spoke to the woman he was sure could see him. No wasting time, Shōkan quickly continued, "You've been here longer, have you been able to glean anything from the crime scene?" As he waited fro the answer, Shōkan crouched down on the floor and studied the body. He wasn't a detective, so many of the subtleties of the crime scene that were visible to people who trained as ones were past him. He did know fighting however. He knew how wounds appeared on a body, and how people were injured by said wounds. He knew it because he had performed and taken damage like it thousands of times, and probably would do so thousands more. He was a warrior, born and bred for battle and leadership.

Natsumi wasn't a detective. She wasn't familiar with crime either. It just happened to come so sudden, but she was watching over the city below her. It was calming, beautiful, and yet even quiet... She sighed and turned her back thinking about how things have certainly changed since she roamed the world of the living as a passive soul around here. She suddenly felt the little flapping wings of a hell butterfly. She widen her eyes as she left her finger out. She permitted the insect to land on her finger to hear that message.
It was then she closed her eyes and took in the information needed for this. It seemed she was put into investigation for a crime scene. Another shinigami would be there in the investigation. Great... She needed to go do something she's not good at. No matter, she wasn't going to waste time around here anyways. She quickly would sprint off, jumping building to building. She had a lot of thoughts going through her mind at this point because she needed to know what was happening this time. Why was she on the response instead of another higher shinigami? Oh well, she thought it was more investigation time for her.
She would be on top of the building now where she had to go. She slowly walked through the fire escape door and slowly walked down the steps, just who could be there? It was all going through her head. She'd hit the 22nd floor... The 21st.... 20th.... 19th and finally now the 18th floor. She'd slowly make her way to that one room. She slowly walked through the door, looking around. It seems two others are already here but one of them is not apart of the Squad 13. Natsumi would nod if the two notice her. She looked around the scene and simply remained silent as the two spoke to each other and maybe even her.

Well it seemed that all of the individuals that had been sent to investigate the strange murders had arrived at the recent crime scene. Now all of them were in the room and looking for some kind of evidence that the humans might have over looked. One of them had a fair deal of energy sensing and if she focused just enough she would sense a evil reiatsu in the room one that in truth was darker then a hollow. If she and the others look hard enough they would more then likely find a small sigil of reiatsu drawn on the inside of the desk. None of them would know what the sigil was meant for or why it was there yet it would be obvious to them all that it was a clue.
(OCC: Sorry really short post but got to get the ball rolling for the real fun)

'Hmm...' Shōkan thought as he looked around the room. Other than the dead body, there wasn't much to go on. Maybe he could find something in the victim's belongings, a clue as to what killed him. Heading over to the desk, Shōkan started shuffling through papers. As he was searching through tax returns and other mundane paperwork such as bills to pay, Shōkan noticed something peculiar. On the inside off the desk, a strange symbol was carved. Shōkan didn't know what it meant, or even what language (if it was from a language) it was from. Uncertain as to what this could mean, Shōkan signalled to the other two people looking into the matter to look at the symbol. "I do not know the origins of this symbol. I have never seen anything its like before in my many years."

(OOC: I'm actually gonna skip until we get more information, sorry. I listed a few of the clues I was looking for in my last post, and if I get those, or more about the sigil, than I can post, but until I have that, I'd just be retreading and restating things that Shokan covered. So yeah. Natsumi's post.)
