THE ULTIMATE BATTLE! ALL CAPTAIN LEVEL FOES, IN THE MIDDLE OF SEIREITEI. A BATTLE THAT SOME COULD ONLY DREAM OF. A DEADLY DUO THAT SEEMS UNBEATABLE. WHAT WILL KAGAMI DO? WHAT CAN KENTO HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH? Alexander Kuma-Hebi didn't even hesitate. He didn't sense reiatsu. He didn't sense anything amiss. And he also didn't care. The Squad 3 Captain walked right through Kagami's mirror undaunted, and a blade appeared and attempted to stab him... And it failed. Miserably. Firstly, reiatsu fluctuated around him wildly, but that wasn't how he guarded himself. No, for as the blade first appeared, and began to touch into his skin, he reacted instinctively.

Alexander instantly tightened his muscles in the area where he was about to be stabbed, using a flex defense of vastly superior defensive power to Kagami's offensive abilities. In this way, the blade may have pushed into Alexander, but... It couldn't go in. It could not penetrate the flexing skin, for as soon as the tip even started to touch Alexander's skin, and he felt the cold steel, he used his battle hardened senses to react, and flexed. The blade stopped dead, and could not enter. In fact, as he moved past it, it began to crack, and in a second it snapped, and then shattered. It was of no avail against Alexander Kuma-Hebi.

The hulking monstrosity continued forward. And, as Kagami started to cast his spells, focusing on those, Alexander attacked. Immediately, he went full speed into a full flash step, and materialized right in front of Kagami. For that reason of casting Kido at that exact instant, Kagami did not have the faculties to cast more Kido on a whim to stop what was coming, and it was unlikely that his mirrors could mentally be created quickly enough either, for upon appearing before Kagami, who was in mid Kido, Alexander attacked. He was uniquely berserk. Because all he cared about was combat. For that reason, not even blindness stopped him or caused him to hesitate. He just shrugged it off like a rhino, and kept charging, indiscriminately. That was his combat style.

And, for that reason, Kagami was in trouble, because since Alexander did not hesitate, he was fast. He appeared at great speed, and his arm dropped at great speed, utilizing Shunpo Karin. His sword came down on Kagami with enormous physical force. It was more than the sword, too. If the sword hit, every bone in Kagami's body would shatter and he would be spliced in half. But, it also produced physical shockwaves that blasted apart the ground before Kagami and unbalanced him so that the shaking meant he had no way of using a step technique to escape, and the shockwaves, if they hit him, would also obliterate every bone in his body.

"I'M YOUR OPPONENT, YOU FUCKING SCUM!" Alexander bellowed at the top of his lungs.

Worst of all was the huge, explosive reiatsu. It was immense. The blast of reiatsu obliterated anything left of their immediate surroundings. That was how huge it was. If Kagami was hit by this, he would be burned beyond all recognition, his skin vaporized, his bones obliterated, and only by virtue of being a Soul Reaper and possessing a spiritual, more durable body, would he survive, albeit barely. That was the problem with facing this monster. Mere tricks and Kido spells couldn't stop someone who had no regard for his own safety and lived only to kill. An unstoppable berserker, a killing machine unlike any other. Captain of Squad 3: Alexander Kuma-Hebi.

But, it didn't stop there. See, when Kagami had whispered to Kento, Kento had braced himself, and closed his eyes. But, he had also detected Alexander approaching. Using his Fullbring, of course, and his immaculate senses to guide himself, Kento blasted by releasing force from his gloves. Alexander had already reached the area by the time Kento do this, however, Kento had not been focusing on any attacks, and had sensed in advance what was happening, not to mention Alexander's focus was on Kagami. This allowed Kento to disappear into the sky, away from Alexander. This was good, because Taiho was there too, and Kento needed to be there for this mighty Captain.

The blinding, of course, did not have the intended effect. "Incoming blinding spell..." Taiho murmured. And she closed her eyes to the flash, and then, as the pillars appeared, Taiho rocketed up into the sky with a flash step, out of the way. In fact, Taiho rocketed right into Kento's direction, and her sword flew toward his face. Kento, only by virtue of his gloves, was able to utilize a small puff of force to push himself out of the way. But, went from mid stab into a spinning flurry slash at Kento's stomach. The Fullbringer, in response, used force to push downward, and dive bombed toward the ground. Only with more use of force did he cushion his fall, and get back up.

Taiho landed gracefully, coming up in front of him, blade straight at Kento's face again. "You can anticipate and counter me quite well..." Taiho observed. "And you can enhance yourself by propulsion. But, you're reckless, and don't consider the possibility of being surrounded." She had literally told a strategy to Kento for how she might get him. But, was that really what she was thinking? Or was it to test his response to possible intel? Was it, perhaps, to confuse him? Anyway, Kento dodged to the side as Taiho ruthlessly hacked away at him, but the Fullbringer knew that sooner or later, he would need to hit back. It was just...

I can't find an opening..! he thought to himself. Her defenses are too precise. When I analyze her, all I see is potential for how I'm going to be hurt if I go in. Is there no hole in her defense? Even while continuing to slash or stab at Kento, Taiho was getting more accurate each time, and Kento, all of a sudden, was finding that it was harder to dodge more and more crisp strikes, which got him more and more at uncomfortable spaces and angles. For while Kento had senses, Taiho had energy sensory, and using this could do something not unlike what Kento could do... but on the spiritual level. That was how she had known Kagami's flash was incoming.

"That assailant over there assisting you..." Taiho asked of Kento. "Is that the Lieutenant of Squad 1, Kagami Murai? I recognize that reiatsu... And his Shikai... I know the voice of that Zanpakuto." For Taiho had a massive energy sensory, and could not only sense reiatsu at a huge distance, but with precision. It was as if she could identify unique fingerprints just by looking at a person. And just by virtue of having sensed him at best once during a Captain's meeting, or perhaps watching him during promotion, or any other number of possible occasions, Taiho knew Kagami's reiatsu... And had spoken to his Zanpakuto, and could identify its spirit.

"I wouldn't know his identity... Only that he is of great value to our operation," Kento said with a smile. Taiho stopped attacking momentarily, and pondered. "Is that so?" she asked. Dusting herself off, the tall woman did not smile, but if she was capable of it, she would have. Because she had discovered something good. "Let me tell you this, Kento Sasaki of Xcution," Taiho said. "I have evaluated you in our little skirmish, and come to realize that to defeat you quickly, and with most efficiency, I require only my Shikai. After that, it will be a matter of course to bring you down." And she held up her sword, which glowed with ominous reiatsu...

It was precisely this scene of Kagami vs Alexander and Kento vs Taiho that Asmokon would stumble across the very instant that he appeared on the battlefield of Seireitei. But, he still went unnoticed. So, he could assist, or he could complete the mission by skipping past them and just going straight to the Senzaikyu, as had been intended by Kento this entire time. Perhaps that was why all these battles were taking place. Distractions. They were all diversions to allow someone, just one person, who arrived late, to go and advance to the next stage of the mission. That might just be it, or this might be a disaster.

The black chain moved through the air right towards the man ready to strike him and end this little encounter. That was when the man suddenly began to move at heightened speeds that made even keeping up with his movement next to impossible. Asmoskon had grand sight with his remaining eye yet the speed at which this human moved was far faster then he would even be able to accomplish while utilizing Hirenkyaku. It was in that moment that Asmoskon felt a slight push back on the chain that still continued to extend from the crossbow. Contact had been gained on this man which meant that his reiatsu was now forfeit. This mission called for Asmoskon to be available at all times however and he still had to deal with Anarchy after which meaning that holding back wasn't an option not even when concerning another human's safety.

Asmoskon only had one possible way to get out of this without suffering whatever this man was planning. He had to utilize the one technique that he hadn't had cause to use in combat so far. The technique that creating had caused more pain then he had suffered from the encounter with Anarchy. Marcus would move through the sky right towards Asmoskon who would appear to be just standing there in the air with the crossbow out towards him. Only to then suddenly vanish from the sight of the human while he himself was in mid Bright Light. Asmoskon had difficulty keeping his hands enclosed around the handles of his crossbows as he realized he was about thirty feet to the right now and his left foot was shaking with from the pain of utilizing Antrieb. Not only that but his boots were burnt and smoking from the heat of his reiatsu after such a boost of power. It was only due to the immense burst of speed that Asmoskon outmatched the 7,000 burst of Marcus with one of 10,500.

Asmoskon held out the crossbow in his left hand now and by aiming on instinct and repetitive practice of years he fired off five chains from the crossbow. The five chains soared through the air towards Marcus and as they did they curved through the air each one moving around his location like they were going to trap him between them all. That was when the a section on all of the chains split into another causing the number of chains to double. Now an area that Marcus was located at was going to be hit by ten different chains. Asmoskon had no desire to kill a human so utilizing his unparalleled skill as an archer the chains moved around him. Then they all clashed together and would trap Marcus clinging to his body absorbing his reiatsu and leaving him in a state of unconsciousness.

Once Asmoskon felt that Marcus was unconscious he concentrated for a moment and just like that all of the chains simply seemed to vanish from existence including the one that had pierced through his stomach. Asmoskon had absorbed a fair amount of reiatsu from the human, but the toll of using Antrieb was one that would make this second half of the mission very difficult. His crossbows vanished as he deactivated his release. Knowing that his armor hide his reiatsu signature from anyone who didn't have more then a 200 in sensing energy Asmoskon began to make his way to the portal. Once there he concentrated for a moment absorbing the reiatsu of the area through his cross and into himself feeling rejuvenated the young Quincy steps forth into the portal making his way into Soul Society.

Master, it’s done.

Jin, who had been waiting in the shadows while his doll attacked, chose this time to show himself. He rose, his eyes red and blackness covering him until his body was fully separated from the shadows of the burning car behind him. When he stood fully, he nodded, recognizing his doll’s effort in taking down the Tsunami member. Umagi had been a tough foe. Had he been up against anyone else, he would have come out the victor. But as was the case, he had been unlucky enough to face two powerful Bount. One was the man regarded by many Bount in Karakura as the Bount Leader and the other was an equally powerful Bount who had a reputation of his own.

Good job, Hitze. A job well done.

Jin’s head turned as Petrov approached and he gazed upon the other Bount. Petrov was a scary man in appearance, now that Jin was able to look at him more closely. His features represented those of the fabled vampires very much. It had been Bount like Petrov with this appearance who had inspired those myths and legends. The man before him was quite powerful, as was his doll. Jin surmised then and there that this wasn’t a man that he wanted to get on his bad side. Taking Petrov out if it ever came to it would be incredibly difficult. He had the power to do so, but the battle would still be tough in itself.

Jin nodded his hooded head in Petrov’s direction when the man complimented him. Whether he knew his true identity was uncertain. It was certain, however, that Petrov knew the true identity of his reiatsu. Having released, the cloak he wore had deactivated and his reiatsu’s true nature could be sensed. The fact that he had also called out the phrase used to summon dolls gave it away too. But, it didn’t matter. Now Petrov knew that there was another powerful Bount lurking in the underground world.

When Petrov suggested the two join the others, Jin helped him to look for a form of transportation. It would take too long for them to walk there. But then again, even if they didn’t find a car, Jin had a way of getting there without having to walk. But, it was best to save the heat energy he had collected in his boots. He would need them later. So, when Petrov found a car and hot wired in, Jin quickly got in. He had no reason to seal Hitze again as he got in because he knew that there were more enemies that would come for them soon. Given that there had been a group waiting for them as they left the warehouse, it meant that one of them had possibly called in reinforcements. So, it would be necessary to keep the doll active to act as surveillance for the two Bounts. It wasn’t too taxing either way. This was one of the perks of the Bount release.

The two drove in silence for a few seconds before Jin finally decided to speak up, breaking the silence with that modulated voice of his. ”I was impressed with your power back there.” he began simply. He waited a few seconds, in case Petrov wanted to respond to that. When he did, he continued, ”I only know of one another Bount in this town with the kind of power you possess. You must have heard of him. His name is Jin Yamada.” Jin said, speaking as Anarchy. He turned at the moment, while giving the name to look upon Petrov and see how he reacted physically to hearing the name. Jin was, after all, quite famous among the Bount community in Japan and even in other parts of the world. He had grown quite influential despite his disappearance. Many spoke of him as a legend, as a ghost. On par with even the legends that had been told of Kassen Oro when he disappeared. None knew if he was truly alive or not and therefore, most of what Bount knew about him were rumors spread by other Bount and Shinigami that had encountered the man.

”No one knows what happened to him after he disappeared. Some say he died and others say he’s in hiding. Well, I’ll fill you in on a little secret. He’s alive and well. He’s been recruiting powerful Bount since he disappeared, to help him.” Jin continued. He wondered if he had piqued Petrov’s attention by now. ”He recruited me some time ago, and I’ve been working for him ever since.” This was a lie, of course. Anarchy’s true identity was Jin Yamada himself. But, he couldn’t let Petrov know this. Only a select few in his circle could have that knowledge. This was to prevent anyone from betraying him when captured by Shinigami and had their memories dissected. Anarchy's statement suggested something else too. It suggested that Jin Yamada knew about this operation and had allowed Anarchy to be hired for it. So then, what was Jin Yamada's interest in this operation? This was probably something that Petrov himself was wondering if he understood what Anarchy's statement suggested. ”He wants me to help recruit powerful Bount like you.” Jin was being very straightforward about it. There was, after all, no need to dance around it. It was best to be upfront about the alliance he wanted to create with this man. ”We can help one another in the type of world we work in. We scratch your back and you scratch ours. What do you say?”

Whether Petrov agreed to an alliance with Jin or not, they had arrived at their destination by that point. He stepped out of the car and his eyes immediately moved to the UE employee lying on the ground. He knew that he was with UE because Kazura had filled him in on the UE members that would be on this mission. He shook his head solemnly as he stepped closer to the gate. ”Looks like the others took care of this guy.” he remarked. He wanted to heal the young UE employee, but with his energy sensory he could tell that Marcus was not dead. He would survive longer. On his way back, he would try to grab Marcus and take him back to Kazura personally. For now, he had to keep up the ruse of playing on the side of Brothers Grim. So, he turned away from Marcus and turned back towards the portal standing before them. He stopped when he reached it and gestured for Petrov to enter first. "After you…" he said with a small bow. After Petrov, he would take a deep breath and step towards the portal himself. As he did, Hitze pulled its body towards Jin’s and had it surround the Bount rather than spreading itself out. This caused the Bount’s body to shimmer as powerful heat began wafting off of him from his doll. Now he was protected from any surprise attacks. Nothing could get through his doll’s body to reach him without being vaporized when Hitze was condensed like this. With that, he stepped forward into the portal to Soul Society. His second time heading to that place he had loathed for almost three centuries.

Petrov seemed to listen intently to Anarchy, drinking in his words. Though the eyes of the vampiric Bount did not betray what his true thoughts were, he seemed at least interested in listening to what his fellow Bount had to say. Maybe it was because the both of them were Bount that Petrov even cared. Maybe if it had just been another human, it wouldn't have mattered. For him to be a mercenary of such power meant that he should have been recruited by something like Xcution or Uzaki long ago, but he hadn't been. He was a freelancer, and he must have turned down many people. Maybe the only reason he listened to Anarchy was their shared identity. There were so few of them left now.

"Under most circumstances, I would join you," Petrov replied in a deep voice. He betrayed a light smile, as if amused, or as if he knew something that Jin did not. "Unfortunately, I already long ago promised my service to someone else." This might be new information. After all, Petrov was considered freelance in the human world. So, he did in fact serve someone else, after all? If that was true, then why wasn't his master's name associated with his in the underworld? Could it be that it was some other shadowy figure who hid? Whom no one knew about? Anyway, they were stopping the car and entering Soul Society on foot, now.

Seireitei below them as they emerged from overhead, their reiatsu was detected immediately. They had entered not long after Asmokon, whose reiatsu was already detected immediately. All three of them were on their way to the same destination, but the forces of Soul Society were mighty. They could be confounded in many scenarios, but this was their home turf. Just the act of invading was difficult. Sure, they got invaded by Kuroi all the time, but that had been before the new anti-invasion headquarters established by Kenryoku Kawada and Sozen Kuchiki. Now, invading Soul Society wasn't an easy thing.

Elsewhere, Dirty Slutty Freddy was on both knees, panting tiredly. His face was covered in sweat, and he was himself covered in blood. He looked more exhausted than anyone else had ever seen him, and anyone with energy sensory who knew him would be able to detect his reiatsu fluctuating dangerously weakly. He was literally on his last legs. And, who stood before him? An average height young man, more of a boy than a man, really, with black hair and scarlet eyes, who wore a leather battle uniform. His sword was in the form of a saber, and his deep bloody eyes would not leave Freddy.

"You can go fuck yourself if you think I'm gonna beg for my life..." Freddy said, defeated by the Lieutenant of Squad 13 and Heir to the name Kuchiki: Souza Kuchiki. Souza, however, advanced on Freddy, saying nothing until he stood over him. "No, I'm not ordering you to beg," Souza replied to him. "I'm ordering you to kneel as you are now, and to go down kneeling." A blade carved over Dirty Slutty Freddy, whose chest was already cut up. More blood sprayed forth, and he soon lost consciousness after being thoroughly beaten by one of the Soul Reapers. The others would sense his reiatsu extinguish.

Meanwhile...

As soon as Jin and Petrov appeared in the Soul Society, and before they even made it too far, they would be greeted by a calm figure, waiting for them. They had descended to ground level due to a lack of air ground and started moving, but blocking their pathway was someone else entirely. A presence on par with Jin Yamada himself. Though others had been near his power level, they too had been hopelessly outclassed in the face of his raw ability. This, however, was a man every bit as powerful as Jin, and with a record every bit as impressive. A white Haori on a well designed silk shihakusho, black hair, and scarlet eyes.

They said that this was the guy who had beaten four Espada and killed three of them. He had devastated and massacred three Ogatago, committed genocide against the Vizards, and even Jin's mentor and master had fallen to this man. They even said that he had been successful in killing the Primera, and had led a valiant battle against the Segunda not a couple of weeks later, while recovering from his injuries. They had once called him The Demon. Now they called him the Crimson King. The strongest of Soul Society's forces and the most merciless. The Captain of Squad 6: Sozen Kuchiki.

Amused scarlet eyes with an equally jubilant smile fell onto Anarchy and Petrov. "Petrov," Sozen greeted. "How many centuries has it been? Last time we met, you were just a young boy." Sozen and Petrov had history. And, it didn't appear to be good history, judging by the loathing in the eyes of the pale skinned Bount. As before, Petrov's enormous stone monster of a doll suddenly appeared, its shadow eclipsing even the sun. "Go, Anarchy. I have a score to settle by killing the Head of the Kuchiki Household," Petrov said to Jin, who now could either help or go on his way toward the Senzaikyu.

Meanwhile...

Asmokon would almost be to the Senzaikyu when he was intercepted. Dark, misty shadows danced around his location all of a sudden, and he would be alerted immediately to the presence of reiatsu. It wasn't doing a good job of concealing its existence, but this was likely intentional. It was psyching him out, because even though he would be able to detect its existence, he wouldn't be able to detect its location, and the physical location was hidden, too. Black smoke, obscuring more and more around Asmokon, danced in circles around his position. And then, at long last, she appeared before him in a white Haori.

She wasn't terribly tall, and her face was covered in the white makeup of a jester. Her description matched perfectly with that of the famed assassin responsible for dozens of political or strategic deaths in the War of Angels. Once a proud member of the Kawada right arm Tsunami, and the protege and Lieutenant of Kenryoku Kawada, this assassin was one of the most skilled to have come into the world in the last five hundred years. Her feats were legendary. Her actual power? Even crazier than could be imagined. The acrobat and jester. The assassin with the white face. Famed Captain of Squad 2: Kaijin Quinn. Alias, Harle.

"A Quincy? Zis, I did not expect...." she said in a heavily accented voice. "After zee Vandenreich waz defeated, for a Quincy to come here eez quite crazy, don't you think, monsieur?" Harle's sword was already out, and her eyes were already on Asmokon. He had a choice of fighting her, but she was a Captain. She straight outclassed him, not to mention that she wasn't the only one there. Reinforcements were on their way already, so that even if he engaged her, he would be fighting a Captain and more than a Captain. Not to mention, a huge spiritual pressure was on its way to Asmokon too, also on Captain level. If he was going to fight, he was going to encounter trouble.

Alexander was a berseker. That’s just simply how he fought. All Shinigami knew about his reckless charges into big battles and how he still made his way out of the fight unscathed. He could tank most anything that was thrown at him with a combination of brute strength and his high reiatsu strength as well. The man was a monster, but he was predictable. Kagami wasn’t the type of person that could be defeated with pure power.

And so, the second Kagami’s blade shattered, he was prepared to move. Mid spell, he abandoned the Kido he had just cast, causing the pillars to barely emerge from the ground before instantly stopping. His life was more valuable than a futile attack, and the pillars wouldn’t have given anyone trouble in the first place. In addition, the Kido he was casting didn’t require any physical aiming and he was more than capable of casting the technique silently, so Kagami wasn’t quite as distracted and of guard as the Kenpachi hoped for. However, Alexander’s ferocity was too dangerous, so as Kagami had no active defense, he needed to watch out for his own neck. Luckily, Alexander walked through the mirror before using Shunpo, giving Kagami a tiny window to escape with.

Using his exceptional instinct and energy sensory he was able use Shunpo in response to Alexander’s step technique to activate Shunpo himself, allowing him to retreat diagonally to the right, ending the step thirty feet from Alexander. The man was likely to continue charging, however, so Kagami was ready. Water had begun to rise from the floor for a quarter of a mile around. It would take a few seconds for the water to reach their knees and cap their running speed at a measly 300, so Alexander would have no trouble closing the gap between himself and his foe before then.

But he was walking into another trap. The second he got close to Kagami this time, he would find himself incased in a large black box as several blades began to pierce his body all over. He could easily avoid being pierced by the water and could even break out of the box, but the high-class Kido would be more than sufficient to slow him down and stop his assault. It would be completely undodgeable, for the attack came from point-blank range. Kagami cast the Kido from the make-shift mirror created by the crystal clear water, and he would do so before Alex’s foot disrupted the reflective surface a few feet in front of Kagami.

So what was the masked man’s next move? In the brief window of time he created for himself, Kagami acted quickly. He switched the black blade he carried to his left hand and pressed his closed right fist over his trachea while simulateously releasing the weapon. “Observe in darkness, Kagebokkusu.” A black box appeared floating over Kagami’s head, and just as it appeared, it read the motion of Kagami’s right hand. If he had been wielding a sword, Kagami would have stabbed himself. That was precisely what he was relying on for Alex.

Once Hado #90 was broken, Kagami would have the black box shoot out at Alexander at an incredible speed of 2000 that he wouldn’t be able to even see coming, forcing him to make the same action Kagami had just saved at the same speed as Kagami would achieve with a Shunpo. This time, however, Alexander would stab himself through the windpip with the sword he wielded, leaving him breathless and gasping for air. If he didn’t stop fighting, he would die from suffocation. Then, Kagami would take the new opportunity to stab the vulnerable Alexander Kuma-Hebi through the stomach, putting him out of action for a long time. Kagami needed this victory to prove his own strength to himself. Every step forward brought him closer to his ultimate goal: killing Adalo De-Mona.

Kido. Traps. Pre-cognition. Deception. Manipulation. Combination. All of these were the conventional tricks used in combat to create a one up advantage against the opponent. In fencing, the matter could be simplified to who could bait the other into an unfavorable position. In a fraction of a second, one person's movement is just superior to the other's in such a way that allows a hit while avoiding any kind of counter. Though used by everyone, these tricks take different forms, even with identical themes. But, conventional tricks were all useless against Alexander. His combat style allowed him to just bulldoze through them with sheer power.

There was first the matter of Kagami dodging. Alexander reappeared from his flash step and realized as soon as he was landing that Kagami had gotten away. He had even witnessed it, seeing the much slower man escaping. Even if Kagami was able to flash step before Alexander, he was still so much slower that the Captain merely re-stepped upon touching down, once he noticed that Kagami was escaping. Therefore, Kagami hadn't even landed from his step by the time Alexander was upon him. Still coming down, Kagami didn't have the option of another step to escape. Plus, Alexander's slash was coming down now instead of earlier, having landed and just re-stepped as he was beginning his slash.

So, Alexander had appeared in front of Kagami with half of the prep for the slash already done, making it even faster than before, and still utilizing Shunpo Karin. But this time he was adding something else. Two something elses. First, Do-Re-Mi. For one strike, Alexander's hit strength was doubled. This made a hit strength of 2750. That was his offensive power. It was unbelievably high. That was just one thing, too. He was also releasing a Sakugen slash as he attacked, so that not only did Kagami have to deal with a slash that was already going to hit him, but he had to deal with Sakugen and with blasts of air.

Now, the water. Alexander was heavy, and upon landing had stomped down with full power. This meant that the water was blown away. Recall, Alexander's enormous strength. Kagami had vastly underestimated it. It was so great that it literally obliterated every ounce of water anywhere near them, and because Alexander had caught up much more quickly than anticipated, there was no time to form a proper Kurohitsugi. One might be starting to form, but the shockwaves from Alexander landing coupled with shockwaves and air in all directions just from his powerful slash would annihilate anything forming, anyways.

Now, that artificial Zanpakuto. Kagami didn't have time to draw up his sword and cast his technique. By the time he was halfway done with it, and the box was first forming, before it even fired and he even recorded his movement, Alexander was upon him. That speed was well above and beyond anything Kagami could try to keep up with, and it had arrived much sooner than he had expected. He had thought a split second of pre-cognition allowed him several moments of free movement, but had been wrong. Alexander's raw power from his slash obliterated the black box in less than a nanosecond, before Kagami got to doing anything with it.

And then, the attack was aimed at Kagami himself. First, Sakugen. If it hit him, his body would split in half and every bone in it would be dust. Second, shockwaves in all directions from Alexander. Anything coming for him would be obliterated, and Kagami himself would be turned to less than goo if that hit. Finally, the slash. If that hit, then Kagami would be even less than that less than goo. Kagami had not had the time to use his regular movement to cast a spell AND move a blade, much less speak its phrase, record his movement, and then unleash it. Alexander was too fast. Too powerful. Furthermore, his huge attack disrupted the area too.

The ground itself would be splintered and obliterated, and anything and everything around them would be completely destroyed. So mighty was the attack that any spells formed by Kagami, any defenses, anything even remotely created by him in that nanosecond he had would be completely destroyed before it had time to have any effect, and all effects would be negated, leaving only Kagami defenseless before still the attack itself. The worst part was Kagami's inability to defend himself. Because he could throw up no defenses, and all of his strategies had been blasted apart, his only chance would be to dodge.

Unfortunately, he could create nothing to aid himself before it was destroyed, and all of this happened before he had even landed. Before he could even land. There was no way to flash step, even if he saw it coming. It was, basically, a practical end game. Unless Kagami had some miracle, he was going to die against Alexander. The merciless, barbaric Captain of Squad 3: Alexander Kuma-Hebi. But, hope wasn't lost. In those fleeting final nanoseconds, as Kagami's life flashed before his eyes, a new reiatsu became detectable. Would this be his salvation, or was he truly finished?

Meanwhile, Taiho vs Kento raged on in a one sided manner.

OOC: Next off I'll have Asmokon and then Jin post, followed by me, followed by Kagami, followed by me, followed by Asmokon, followed by me. And, I do believe that this last sequence will end our canon.

Asmoskon had been on the move for the last few minutes and was nearly the target location known as the Senzaikyu. Since he had managed to enter Soul Society he hadn't actually seen any Shinigami. The more troubling thing was he couldn't pick up on any sign of being followed or even spotted. Asmoskon knew Soul Society better then most Quincy. Well actually better then the majority of other individuals that weren't Shinigami themselves. Asmoskon for a good part of the last two months had been in here quite frequently and was starting to become known throughout the Society by name. The only real problem was if he was found out to be doing something this dangerous against Soul Society.

Then all of a sudden dark shadows began to enclose around him and cover everything in his vicinity. Asmoskon stopped running and stood completely still. He lacked any type of energy sensing ability yet he could still make out the large reiatsu signature of a Shinigami. What made matters worse was just by going off the fact it wasn't hiding its presence and the size of it Asmoskon assessed that it had to be one of the captains. Just off of the shadows though Asmoskon knew that it wasn't his wife Hotaru that had found him and whoever this was it was someone that he hadn't faced in combat prior to right now.

He kept still and made sure to show no signs of aggression. He didn't even bother to materialize his bow for the moment instead he just stayed calm knowing that whoever this was he still had a shot of victory. There were very few in the walls of Soul Society that could best him in combat he just hoped that this was one of them that he could over come swiftly. When the face of the Shinigami made itself visible Asmoskon's eyes shifted for a moment under his cloak and mask. Asmoskon had met this girl about nine months prior to this moment. He waited until after she had spoken to him to speak. "Harle I don't wish to harm you. Allow me to pass or else I'll have no choice, but to leave you here broken."

Asmoskon knew that Harle was a nice person and in all honestly due to that he didn't want to cause her any harm. He couldn't allow his personality though to halt his success of this mission there was something especially important in the Senzaikyu that Asmoskon had to make sure was done or else this was all for naught. He was going to have to defeat her as swiftly as possible though. He knew she was strong not to mention he had a time limit and it would be best to defeat her without showing his bows. All these different restrictions was going to make it far to difficult to get done without being harmed.

[Jin Yamada]

"Unfortunate indeed..." Anarchy's modified voice responded to Petrov's unfortunate answer. "Your strength could have been very useful to us..." Anarchy remarked solemnly. While Petrov would have made a great ally, Jin wasn't too saddened by his failure to recruit the Bount. Despite Petrov not being allied with Jin, at the end of the day, he was still a Bount. Jin was sure that despite who he worked for, Petrov would look out for other Bounts simply because there were so few of them now. But then again, that also depended on whether or not protecting other Bount conflicted with his master's orders. Just who was his master anyway?

"No matter, we still look out for our fellow Bount. Tell your master that he has our support as fellow Bount." Anarchy added as he turned away and ended the conversation. There was nothing more to talk about after that, and Anarchy didn't think he would be able to get anything out of Petrov about who he had sworn his service to. Maybe there was a second powerful Bount who was also recruiting Bount? Was that possible? Maybe. There were many who had challenged Jin back in the day for his title of "Bount Leader." Those Bount had failed, and their challenges only made Jin stronger each time. After he had gained True Bount powers, none contested him. Even the rogue group of Bount, who Gatz had once worked for, had been defeated by his True Bount powers. The experiments they had conducted on themselves and their dolls didn't help them at all against Jin's power.

There may be another powerful Bount in Karakura Town...one whom I'd like to meet...

And then they were stopping the car and heading into the portal to Soul Society. Next thing he knew, he was falling through the air, and very quickly. The portal they had entered through had placed them above, high in the sky to drop down onto the Soul Society from there. Dropping down into the Soul Society from such a height was deadly for someone who had no way of stopping their descent. Luckily, Jin wasn't one of those people. Hitze, soften our landing. A mental command was all that was needed from the Bount mercenary for his doll to immediately take action. The heat surrounding him expanded to cover an area of a quarter of a mile within the air. This area would encompass Asmoskon, who had gone in a little before he and Petrov, as well. In that quarter of a mile area, the doll of heat began heating up the air and expanding it. Suddenly, there was a rush of air being controlled by the doll of heat which met the three as they descended. The heated air, controlled by the doll of heat would serve as a cushion to slow their descent towards the ground. And then, just as the ground grew closer and closer, flames blasted out of the black boots which the Bount mercenary wore and he aimed them at the ground while grabbing onto Petrov's arm. In this way, he slowed himself even more and landed with a graceful thud upon the floors of the Soul Society, this place which he hated so much more than anything else.

The Bount mercenary lifted his head upon landing to lock eyes with those of the man standing before him. Brown eyes concealed by the white mask met scarlet ones. He knew the man that greeted them immediately. He recognized the man, not from having seen him before, but from the very detailed descriptions of this man which he had been given when he had asked who it was that had slaughtered his one and only friend. Immediately, his fists clenched and Hitze drew itself closer to his body, so that he shimmered as a result of the heated air surrounding him. He clenched his fist and his lips formed into a snarl beneath the mask. An inhuman snarl formed on his lips as a result of the hatred he felt for this man before him, this man who had killed both his greatest friend and his mentor, both in cold blood. This man, who was said to be the most powerful Captain of the Gotei 13 currently, was truly a monster. A monster unparalleled. A monster on par with the likes of the Lord of Hades, Enma. This man was Sozen Kuchiki.

Surprisingly, the Kuchiki Head only acknowledged Petrov's presence, choosing to ignore the wanted assassin completely. The last time he had been here, Anarchy had caused enough trouble that Okusa Shogen himself had arrived to challenge him. Their fight had ended with neither side victorious, and this had revealed to the Soul Society that the mercenary known as Anarchy was actually more of a threat than they realized. This led to bounty being increased and a more pressing need to bring the mercenary to justice. However, Sozen completely ignored Anarchy's presence, as if his wanted status meant nothing. All that mattered was Petrov, who he seemed to have history with. Jin's eyes glanced over at his Bount comrade and noticed the same look of hatred, suggesting that Petrov's history with the Kuchiki Head had been more personal than his own. He saw the look in Petrov's eyes, and even the man's words confirmed it. He wanted to face the Kuchiki Head on his own, and settle the grudge he held against the man.

"I want to h-" Jin cut himself off quickly, realizing that he would only be getting in Petrov's way. He wanted to assist his fellow Bount, as he would do for any Bount who needed his help. But, the look in the man's eyes. The look in his eyes suggested a drive for revenge that Petrov had held onto for many years. To fight alongside a man like that would only hinder him. It would hurt his pride. Jin would not insult the man's pride by interfering in his battle. This was Petrov's revenge. Not his own. Revenge for Zouma and for Kassen Oro would come later. He would leave the Bount to obtain his revenge. He had more pressing matters to attend to anyway. He had to get his hands on whatever item was being snuck in. If it could benefit his race, he was ready to sacrifice even Petrov to help the mass of Bount. But, before he would leave, he wanted to leave a present for Sozen Kuchiki and set up an attack for Petrov.

Without warning, a massive tidal wave of what looked like an orange mist surged from Anarchy's body. Without warning, that massive tidal wave of orange gas formed before Anarchy and rushed out towards Sozen Kuchiki with incredible speed, a speed of 400 to be exact. It was a field of super concentrated heat. A heat so powerful that it would turn anything that was trapped within it to ash. That was the power of that heat, fueled by Hitze's own powerful reiatsu strength. Sozen would feel its heat even before it reached him. He would begin sweating even before it consumed him and he would see the ground before it turning to ash as it approached. That tidal wave of super concentrated heat, which appeared like a gas to give itself form, loomed over the Kuchiki Head, casting its shadow upon him as it moved to swallow him in its depth.

"That's my parting gift to you." the modified voice said to Petrov just as Anarchy's eyes turned red beneath the mask and his body turned black. His body began sinking into the enormous shadow which was created by the giant of a doll belonging to Petrov. His body was sinking, but yet he had a message to give to his fellow Bount. A warning for what he was about to get himself into. For Petrov's help with Umagi, he would honor him by telling him this much. "Be careful. He's a monster who defeated even the likes of Kassen Oro..." Anarchy warned. Petrov, being a Bount would understand the warning. He would recognize it's significance given the name Anarchy had given him. Kassen Oro had been a legend among Bount. On a level greater than even Jin himself. When he had disappeared, he had mastered all Bount powers and techniques. He was seen as the savior for the Bount race before he had disappeared. And given that Sozen Kuchiki had been able to defeat someone as powerful as Kassen Oro, Petrov would understand just what kind of monster he was dealing with.

With that, Jin's body sunk into the shadows and he was gone. His attack hadn't been just a "gift" for Petrov. He had also used it to cover his escape. He hadn't expected that attack to defeat someone like Sozen. He had only needed it to hide him from view while he escaped. He also used it to keep Sozen from seeing the red on his mask. He knew of Sozen's nickname, the Crimson King, and of the powers which made him the monster he was. There was no doubt that he would research these things, having sworn vengeance against the man for his killing of both Zouma and Kassen. And so, with the small knowledge of Sozen's powers he had gained from his research, he knew what to expect and acted proactively.

Moving from shadow to shadow, Jin made his way further into Soul Society, on his way towards the next objective of their mission: The Senzaikyu. He wasn't exactly sure why he was heading there, but he decided to follow Asmoskon's reiatsu, which he could sense going in that direction. The Senzaikyu, huh? What exactly are you heading there for, eh? His shadowy figure slithered from shadow to shadow, moving as quickly as he could. He noted Asmoskon's reiatsu stop moving and two other powerful ones beginning to approach the young Quincy. He wanted to help, but first he would see how the Quincy handled himself. And then he would step in if help was needed. For now, he had to finish the mission. That was all that mattered.

"Thank you," Petrov replied curtly to Anarchy as the Bount Leader spoke and disappeared. Sozen, in the meantime, had vanished with incredible speed, reappearing high above the wave. He came down just behind Petrov, blade aimed straight at the Bount's head from the back. Petrov instantly dodged to the side and turned around, and his doll moved to tower over Sozen, a huge lurking shadow which consumed all light and blotted out even the sun. Its fists charged with heavy fire, and the stone giant prepared to fight against Sozen, who braced himself, ready to fight against it. It was going to be a hard fight for the both of them.

Meanwhile, Jin was the first to arrive at the Senzaikyu, coming before the stairs which led to the tower itself. A few levels up, and he would find his target, to whom he had to deliver the drugs. Jin would find the man in a cell. He was neither large nor muscular. He was of average physical complexion, with skin which was pale white and eyes which were narrow and black, and hair matching. He wore the expected white robes of the prisoner, and had the expected cuffs which sealed and negated his reiatsu. As soon as he saw Anarchy, his vision lit up, and he was at the bars of the cell. It was noticeable that the guards had all been already knocked unconscious throughout the Senzaikyu, but the cells could not be broken out of.

"So you've come," the man said of Anarchy. "There's no time to explain. The truth of this operation is that the drugs you are carrying aren't the goal. Of course, if you are found with them, you will be locked up here like me, awaiting a verdict from the Central 46. But, if they find what was hidden inside the bags, surrounded by drugs, you will be put to death. Inside you will find one red pill and two black pills. I need you to give me all three." The hurried expression of this man indicated that he was very worried about timing. Anarchy could give him the pills or he could ask for further information first, but either way, something would compel his giving the bag over.

The black haired man downed the red pill almost immediately, and a blue glow of fire quickly came to both of his hands. "Seigen Nashi... Yuso." The black pills were gone within seconds of the blue flames licking them up, but they hadn't been incinerated. They had just disappeared. Now, the black haired man's eyes darted around even more nervously. They settled knowingly on Jin Yamada, and he spoke once again. "Your mission is complete, for all of you, in fact. Freddy has already been captured for this mission. So, I would beseech you, go and help your friend. He needs you." How did he know...? Whatever, it didn't matter. He could probably just sense reiatsu from in there. Time for Jin to go back to Petrov and see what he might find.

Meanwhile, Harle seemed perplexed by Asmokon's words. "Perhaps you have mizunderstood, mon cheri?" Harle asked the Quincy. "You are strong, but zis fight ce n'est pas un que tu peut survivre..." Other black shadows were beginning to appear left and right. Their uniforms were gray, and they wore hoods and masks. The insignia on their backs were of crashing tidal waves. If Asmokon knew anything of who they were, he would know that they were Tsunami, Kenryoku Kawada's personal black ops unit. Without Kenryoku, it was now Harle who commanded them, as an extension of Squad 2. There had to be well over a dozen of them, too.

That wasn't all, either. Another, massive spiritual pressure was on its way. "You are hopelessly outmatched, and mon ami iz on hiz way az well." One of Harle's more powerful friends was coming. Asmokon was now surrounded by black ops, facing a Captain, and someone else of Captain level was approaching. Harle now exerted gravitational pressure, using her one class difference with Asmokon. It wasn't enough to bring him down, but it was heavy, and made his knees weak and standing difficult. For the first time, Asmokon would see Harle in a different light, perhaps. Since last he had met her, she had become much more powerful. Now, she seemed more like a Captain.

"You must cease, mon cheri, or this iz zee end for you."

Meanwhile, Kagami seemed as if he was about to be killed. There was nothing that the agent named Douma could do. Short of releasing his Bankai and exposing his identity to everyone, he was practically screwed. Or, so he thought, until Kagami would find himself out of harm's way, surrounded momentarily by a green glow. He was now far away from Alexander, next to a friend with dark skin and a sense of humor. "SUP OG LUSH!" Darnell exclaimed, having gotten Kagami away from Alexander's ferocious attack. Just what was that ability of his? Teleportation? Or something else entirely?

"Eyo, eyo eyo eyo," Darnell said, walking up to his enemy Captains and holding his hands above his head. "OG Lush n I surrender. You win. You can arrest us and interrogate us, but YOU STILL CAN'T HAVE YOUR WAY WITH US. I AIN'T DROPPING DAT SOAP, YO. Nah nah, but no really, slap on the cuffs." Kagami might be shocked at Darnell's surrender. He really might be, if Darnell hadn't whispered in his ear on the way to surrendering. "This is part of a bigger strategy, mah nigga," Darnell had whispered to Kagami. "When we get arrested, we gon' go to phase 2. N' you wouldn't know, since you been hidin' behind dat Freddy Kreuger Ghost of Christmas Nast' on yo' face, but we damn went n' disguised you with magic underneath."

That was before his surrender. If this was part of a greater plan, then could it be Kagami's benefactor? That benefactor from after his encounter with Adalo had been the one who first gave Kagami underworld connections, and had suggested this mission to him. Was this the plan of his benefactor? And, now that Darnell had surrendered. Alexander had the choice of killing them or accepting. And, normally he would have just straight up killed them, too, if not for the arrival of Souza Kuchiki seconds later. "That's enough," he said to Alexander. "I have no problem if Taiho kills Kento Sasaki, but these two must become prisoners for interrogation."

Other Soul Reapers were soon on the scene to arrest Darnell and Kagami. Handcuffs which suppressed their powers were slapped onto them, and Kagami's mask was ripped from his face. However, Kagami's true face was not revealed. Instead, it was a face belonging to.... "DAYUM!" Darnell exclaimed. "OG LUSH, YOU A K-POP STAR?!" He was using the face of a famous K-Pop star, who apparently was going to be considered some sort of Fullbringer in processing. Then again, if he had overheard Taiho, he would know that Taiho now knew his true identity... Trouble for him in the longrun. Maybe it was preferable that Kento kill Taiho, as unlikely as that appeared.

Meanwhile, Kento sighed, and stopped moving. "Alright..." he said. "I need to use my greatest powers, then." In an instant, his gloves materialized into being skeletal hands, and then a huge broad sword formed in his hands. His reiatsu was exploding off the charts. Taiho seemed perplexed by Kento's desire to go all out, but she shrugged. "Very well, this has gone on long enough, anyway," Taiho said, and reiatsu exploded around her body as she held up her Zanpakuto. "Six seconds..." Taiho estimated. "Six seconds until you're dead." Then, as reiatsu exploded around her, she spoke once again.

"Bankai."

OOC: Now, you guys don't have to go along with my plot actions if you don't want to. Anarchy doesn't have to help Petrov or even give up the pills. Douma doesn't need to allow himself to be arrested. Asmokon doesn't need to surrender to Harle. But, these are cinematic liberties I've been taking to more or less try to tie up this thread and prep for the next one. Up to you guys how you proceed. Posting order is now Kagami, Me, Asmokon, me, Jin, me. And I think that will be it, if you guys go along with what I've got thus far.

It seemed like Kagami’s plans were about to be foiled. He needed to use his mirrors to the fullest or Alexander would slice him in two, and that would be the end of it. The former Vice Captain who sought to surpass Adalo De-Mona and kill the Arrancar King would be no more. Those ambitions would die with the body unless he did something, but right before he revealed himself, a foregin reiatsu spiked around him, taking him to safety. It all happened in the blink of an eye, so Kagami wasn’t exactly sure where he was or what had just occurred. However, a familiar voice cleared one detail.

“SUP OG LUSH!

Kagami had never been happier to see someone in his life. Darnell, you are one amazing son of a

"Eyo. OG Lush n I surrender.”

Bitch. Fucking bitch.

Of course, Kagami knew what was coming, but he didn’t like it. It all seemed to risky. After all, he liked to be filled in on plans. However, Kagami had absolutely no clue what was coming. It took a lot for someone to willingly put their fate in the hands of others. Actually, no, it wasn’t. It was really easy when there were no other options. Kagami didn’t have any alternative, so he was forced to go with the flow.

The first step was removing his mask. Kagami did so hesitantly, and although he had no way of knowing whether or not his face had truly been hidden, Darnell’s exclamation hinted toward his new appearance. “DAYUM! OG LUSH, YOU A K-POP STAR?!” Maybe Kagami’s involuntary trust in Darnell, Kento, and Freddy had paid off. Maybe there was an actual plan in the works, but plans didn’t always work out. How much longer until all was lost?

The situation was truly dire and Kagami had no clue what to expect, but in such a scenario, only one definite question formed in his head, one that he couldn’t seem to let go of. As Asmokon was confronted with the powerful illusionist who could literally play mind games with the Quincy, as Kento Sasaki was fighting one of the most fearsome Shinigami in all of the Gotei 13 as she revealed her ultimate release, as the masked agent willingly slipped on handcuffs and joined his dark-skinned partner in the custody of Souza Kuchiki, Kagami still lingered on that one question.

How the fuck can Darnell recognize a K-Pop star?

Darnell and Kagami had been arrested, and it was terrible. Well, not too terrible, actually. They were both stuck in the Senzaikyu together, and were informed that they were being investigated for alleged charges of bringing in a rather illegal substance to Soul Society. Like, not just illegal. SUPER illegal. The kind of substance that would get them put away somewhere besides the white tower. And maybe that had been the plan all along. Anyway, the inside of the cell was spacious and they had a bunk bed. Darnell had early on called bottom bunk, citing that hot air rises, so when he farted, Kagami would smell it first thing. He wasn't necessarily wrong about that.

As they sat there, Darnell struck up conversation. "So... Sexy ladies, huh?' he asked with a knowing smirk. Darnell stood up, got into a horse stance with feet planted shoulder width apart, and held out his arms, extending them with his hands placed one on top of the other, and made a sort of galloping dance motion in place, as if riding a horse. "Ope Ope Ope Ope... Ope..." he chanted. What was he saying? Was he referencing whichever K-Pop star Kagami looked like? Who knew? Anyway, that was the sort of dialogue that they would have to deal with to alleviate boredom while the rest of the Soul Society did its thing. In the meantime, they would soon find a visitor that they did not expect.

It was early on that their visitor appeared, and at that moment, with a nod to the guards, he said, "Leave us." And the guards left, too. Why wouldn't they? The one that had come before them was a Lieutenant. And not just any Lieutenant. One whose authority was at least on par with a Captain's. He was said to have completely overwhelmed a Captain in combat already. And, at his young age, he had already made a lot of connections and allies. The one who was rumored to have never lost at anything in his life. Some called him the Omnipotent Emperor, though this was likely an exaggeration. The Heir of the Kuchiki Family, Souza Kuchiki. Black hair, and cold, scarlet eyes falling on Darnell and Kagami.

A knowing smile came to Souza's lips, then as he spoke to them. "You must be wondering why I had you spared," he said. "Darnell. Douma." So he did have a reason. An ulterior motive? Maybe. His father was known to plot quite a bit. Was it unreasonable for Souza to have one as well? Then again, he was reputable for being someone extremely honest. Not always the kindest, but at the very least never manipulative. "I can pull strings to gain you your freedom very easily," Souza said. "But in exchange I want you to enter prison for two weeks. I have created charges for you to have you sent to the exact prison which I want you to infiltrate. There, I have a mission for you. Complete it, and you are free."

That was what Souza wanted so far, and it was rather straightforward. Infiltrate the prison, do whatever his mission was, and he would let them go. He was someone known to keep his word. Though, for Kagami, this would be quite the surreal moment. Why? Because this situation was nearly identical to what had happened after his encounter with Adalo, wherein a mysterious benefactor had given him his underworld connections to become Douma. Did people just inherently see potential in him to commit crimes for them? Was that his inevitable potential? If so, then perhaps it was good that Adalo had turned him to darkness. Maybe that was something expected and necessary after all.

Asmoskon kept standing there and while Harle kept speaking he noticed that there were other entities arriving in order to help her. Asmoskon had a fair bit of confidence in his abilities even against a Captain of Soul Society. However, it seemed that she was getting reinforcements from a stealth ops group of her division. Asmoskon wasn't the best suited to do battle against close range foes and those that had a proficiency to utilize stealth under many normal situations would be difficult for him to fight. Battling these dozen at the same time would prove to be taxing, irritating and difficult. On top of that there would still be Harle herself to fight and while Asmoskon didn't want to stand down there was no point in continuing now anyway.

Asmoskon had been sent to do something that much was true and while he had worked with Kento and the others do make sure that this mission was successful that wasn't his main objective. There was more then one reason Asmoskon was in Soul Society and perhaps now was when he should just start going for that main objective. Harle kept speaking pointing out that there was another entity coming who more then likely was another Captain. Asmoskon knew when he was outmatched and right now in this situation there was only one thing that he could even utilize that would allow him a chance of victory. That however was something that he still didn't wish to reveal even if it meant capture.

Letting out a sigh of admittance Asmoskon raised his hands slowly above his head. Moving his right hand over he grabbed ahold of the quiver straps and pulled it off the side. He then leaned forwards a bit and took the quiver from his back holding it out in front of him for one of the black ops Shinigami to retrieve. "Alright then let's get going I'm curious where I'll be staying." Asmoskon put both of his hands behind his head now making sure that none of the black ops or Harle would get a misrepresented intention of surrender.

They were quick to slap reiatsu suppressing cuffs onto Asmokon and to take his quiver and any other weapons and gear which he possessed. As expected, Harle had not been bluffing. There were over two dozen enemies surrounding them as she cuffed him, not to mention that the newcomer who arrived was close, but did not show himself. That reiatsu, however, was on an entirely different level. Something far above Asmokon and Harle. He had made a wise decision. Had he fought Harle, he would have also engaged all of these enemies simultaneously, and been completely slaughtered. Come to think of it, that was logical. Soul Society's raw numbers were why invasions were difficult.

As would be expected, he was also put in the Senzaikyu, the white tower which could house over a thousand prisoners awaiting their fate. But, if that was really all, then it would have been laughable. Asmokon being captured was one thing, as the same for Douma and Darnell. Three of them had been captured, but similar things could not be said for their allies. After all, they had encountered Captains. While as Ryoka they had been powerful enough to ward off certain stronger foes, facing Captains would elude them completely. The Captains of today were less than merciful ones, after all. Even as Asmokon was imprisoned, he'd see it.

He'd see what Jin would sense from afar. The weakened, barely living reiatsu of a Bount, as said Bount, Petrov, was dragged across the floor toward his cell by guards, cuffs on him. He was covered in slashes and cuts, bleeding profusely. Medics were following him, planning to treat him in his cell. But, that he was there indicated that he had been completely crushed by Sozen. There hadn't even been a competition between them, it looked like, judging by the severity of those wounds. He just hadn't been powerful enough. Whatever his vendetta, it regardless had still fallen completely short of what he had wanted. "Forgive me, Madam..." he whispered as he lost consciousness.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, what could also be sensed was the dimming reiatsu of Kento, who fell to all fours in anguish. He laughed, his eyes rising to meet Taiho's. He had numerous lacerations across his body, and from them, black veins could be seen quickly spreading. Taiho did not even move at this point, only watched as Kento started to shake violently from the agony of a virus entering his body. Slim little wires danced through the air, returning to Taiho and beginning to dissipate into the form of her sealed Zanpakuto. Approaching Kento, she looked down at him, holding up her sword.

"With this, it ends," Taiho informed Kento, and beheaded him then and there. Xcution's number one man had been killed by a Captain. Unlike Darnell and Douma who had found an employer in Souza, Asmokon who had connections to some of those in Soul Society, or Petrov who had found pity in Sozen, Taiho was not merciful, and had never had any intention of taking prisoners. Just like that, Kento Sasaki was killed in the most absolutely brutal of ways. A virus that had destroyed and broken down his body, and then beheading. A truly terrifying opponent. The merciless Captain of Squad 8 and financial mastermind, Taiho Kasumi'Oji.

Freddy had been killed. Kento had been killed. Douma, Darnell, Asmokon, and Petrov had been captured. Though the forces of Yoko, Marcus, and others had been overcome, the actual Captains of Soul Society had not been as easy a matter. But, it was expected, of course. Some of them... Some of them were too powerful. In the meantime, Asmokon would find in his cell a familiar ally, who already had given him a blessing. "You don't have any worries," Sozen told Asmokon. "You didn't kill anyone, so releasing you isn't difficult. First, however, I have a request of you to make. I'd like you to infiltrate a certain prison for a couple of weeks..."

Jin’s shadowy form slithered across the Seireitei towards his objective until he reached those stairs. He stopped then and his form rose from the shadows before those mighty stairs leading to the white tower. His eyes scanned the building, taking it in completely. Had I not faked my death all those years ago, I probably would have been rotting in here….or dead… He stepped forward, making his way up those stairs. He hurried up them and made his way into the tower. As he moved forward, he was already pulling out one of his yoyo to fend off any guards. However, to his surprise, all of the guards had been knocked unconscious already. He had had some help. From who, he didn’t know and honestly, he didn’t care. He continued on his way up the tower, having already ben informed by the Brothers Grim who the client was.

He found his way to the cell, where a man greeted him with a gleeful look, as if he was standing before a savior of some kind. Jin wasn’t a savior to this man. He could care less about him. His only objective was to save the Bount, and this mission was only a means to an end for that goal. "So you've come," the man said to him. "There's no time to explain. The truth of this operation is that the drugs you are carrying aren't the goal. Of course, if you are found with them, you will be locked up here like me, awaiting a verdict from the Central 46. But, if they find what was hidden inside the bags, surrounded by drugs, you will be put to death. Inside you will find one red pill and two black pills. I need you to give me all three."

Jin hesitated before the man. He hesitated because he didn’t know why those three pills specifically were important to the man. He didn’t even know who this man was. If these pills were meant to give him the power that had been stolen from him before being imprisoned, then maybe he could be of some use. Maybe Anarchy-no Jin, could make an ally out of this man. When the time was right for him to reveal himself to the world, he would need allies like this man. ”First tell me,” Anarchy’s modified voice said to the man. ”What is your name? And what are three pills for?” Anarchy had yet to retrieve the bag from his cloak, showing that he was serious about not giving them to the man until he was answered. He didn’t know who this man was or the reason he had been locked up here in the Senzaikyu. He was going to find that out first.

”I have something else that I’d like to ask before I hand over those three pills you requested. Will you be willing to fight alongside me against the tyrant rule of the Shinigami? And don't worry, you'll know it's me calling when the time is right. Also you must also promise me that you will not harm any residents of the World of the Living?” That last request had been on behalf of Kazura, whose goal was to protect all humans and residents of the World of the Living. Kazura had asked Jin to find out what was being smuggled in and to try his best to stop it if he had a chance. Jin had told Kazura that he had connections that would find out for him. Anarchy was essentially that connection, despite the two being one and the same. Nonetheless, he would be able to inform Kazura of what was being smuggled in, but tell him that he had been unable to sabotage the operation lest he give away his identity. It was a win-win on both fronts. He would be paid by Brothers Grim for his assistance and remain on their good side, which would increase their trust in him. They would continue to hire him because of this trust and then he could infiltrate them from the inside and help Kazura to take them out for good. After all, he was a mercenary. He didn’t choose sides. Well, let’s rephrase. He chose the side that paid him more. Some might see it as wrong, as evil. But he did everything with the intention of saving his race.

He reached into the cloak when he found the man’s response satisfactory. He pulled out the bag of pills from within it and began rummaging through the bag for those three specific pills. One red and two black, the man had said. When he found them, he pulled them out one by one and handed them to the man, who took them with glee. The Bount mercenary’s eyes widened beneath the mask when he saw the blue flames suddenly form within the man’s hands. ”What was that just now?” he asked in a bewildered voice. But before he could receive an answer, he sensed something. He sensed it just as the black haired man dismissed him. "Petrov is in trouble…” he muttered to himself. He rushed off, leaving the man’s cell and making his way towards where he had last sensed Petrov before suddenly stopping. He sensed Kento’s reiatsu diminishing and then suddenly, it died out. Just like that, it was gone. They defeated Kento too?! And Freddy?! So then, was he the only one left?

I can’t be captured….I already worked so hard to keep up the illusion of my death. They can’t know that I’m alive. They won’t just imprison me this time…they’ll kill me…”

So, he made a choice then and there. Petrov’s reiatsu was faint, which meant that he had been defeated. And Jin wasn’t yet ready to take on Sozen yet. Maybe when Sozen was alone, but not here on his home turf. He had the aid of other Captains, which would make things difficult. The Bount mercenary found himself without any other support. Currently, he might just be the last one alive. He couldn’t sense the reiatsu of Asmoskon, Douma, or Darnell anymore, since they had been captured and their reiatsu suppressed by the handcuffs. There was only one thing he could do then, in order to save himself before he was captured along with the others. He pulled a scroll from his cloak and quickly unrolled it. He then threw it to the floor, where it quickly burst into blue flames, flames which rose up to his height. He quickly stepped into those flames and was gone. And once he disappeared into those flames, they were suddenly extinguished. And with that, Anarchy returned to Karakura Town, to make his report to Kazura as Jin and to receive his payment from the Brothers Grim.

"The red pill temporarily grants its user the ability to transport any object in grasp to another desired location," the black haired man explained to Jin. "The two black pills are both capable of restoring to someone their powers, despite any restraints. For instance, if one were bound in these spiritual handcuffs, then they would no longer be possible to seal. This is an effect which lasts for three days." That was pretty ingenious, if the dungeon master of the thread does say so. This had to have been something in planning for a very long time, though. Ungodly long. This can't have just been spur of the moment planning. Someone had thought ahead.

"My name is Steve Lee," the black haired man said. "And while I would be honored to fight by your side, I would ask instead that you fight by mine. The tyranny of the Soul Society is something opposed by one whom I already serve. If you would join our crusade, you would live to see within weeks from now the day that the Soul Society is changed forever. Instead of my waiting on your call, you would wait on the call of my master, who will come very soon... We will never harm the residents of the human world, and we will always fight in the name of justice. If you can agree to this, I would be honored to have you as my ally. You must go now, but answer the next time we meet."

Like Petrov, Steve Lee already had someone whom he served. His reiatsu had also peaked out during the moments when he was teleporting those other pills. He wasn't a Soul Reaper. More accurately, he was a Mod Soul. So, he was one of the kind who would understand what Jin had gone through. Powers created by the wretched Soul Reapers, and then forced to meet genocide. The sort of horrible actions that had led the Soul Society to be so detested by many spiritual residents of the human world, and to be hated by some who even existed as part of it. People who genuinely wanted to change it.

Kento and Freddy may have gone down, but at least Jin had escaped, and he would be able to deliver his good news to the criminals that had hired Anarchy, and would be paid well for his troubles. Then, after being paid well, he could report to Kazura Uzaki that someone, perhaps already in the Soul Society, had begun to stir, and was making plans to move against the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. But who could this person be? Some mysterious entity upon whose side lay a mysterious Mod Soul named Steve Lee, and a vengeful Bount with a doll second only to Jin Yamada's Hitze. And so on that day, the revolution began.
