A Chance Encounter

[Tsukuyomi Kawada]

Tsukuyomi stepped through the Senkaimon gates that he had been using to travel for the first time into the world of the living. This was his first time being in this realm of reality and honestly he was quite curious to see what he found. The people here were known as humans and suppose to be alive. Yet Tsukuyomi wasn't quite sure what that meant when it was said. If they were alive and when they died they went to Soul Society then what was he? Had he been born dead or was he alive? The young shinigami had no answer to his own question.

Tsukuyomi could feel the movement of the small blades of grass beneath his feet and knew based on that he was on the ground. He wasn't sure though immediately if he was in a forest, park or simply a yard. Due to his blindness in truth Tsukuyomi had no clue if it was day or night time outside for the first few moments. He only figured it out when he could feel the pleasant sensation of the moon light that embraced down upon him. He had no clue why the light of the moon felt pleasant to him yet it was the only way he knew it was night other then the temperature being slight decreased in an area that he normally frequented.

All of a sudden Tsukuyomi could feel the sensation of two different reiatsu off slightly in the distance. One was incredible potent and dark and Tsukuyomi figured it was a hollow. It took him only a moment or so of focus to feel the tendency of eating flesh and hunting down everything. That was all he needed whether it was a hollow or not this creature was dark and as a shinigami he would deal with it. The other signature Tsukuyomi hadn't focused on instead using what time he had to rush to the location.

Vesta had spent some time at a friend's house after school, with her father's permission of course. Actually, it was her best friend's house. She had went over after school to study, and to just spend some time with her. She hadn't really been able to do that in this new town yet, since her father wanted her to stay close to home until they had been there for at least a month. He was worried for her safety in a new place and she honestly didn't blame him. She was a little wary of this new place at first too. She didn't know her way around and was a little closed off towards her new classmates, happily running straight home after school to spend time with her father.

So, they studied for about an hour or two and had snacks. They gossiped as well, what fourteen year olds didn't. But, during this gossip, she was asked if she liked anyone. She immediately said her father and the other girl laughed. She knew that she would like her father and then said she was talking about someone their own age. She thought about that for a minute and honestly, nothing came to mind. Of course her friend named off at least two different people from their class. She agreed that they looked nice, but honestly, something like that had never really been on her mind before. She did want a family eventually, but her father stressed school.

Because of that, she always focused on school. So after a snack, she left the house, trying to make it home before it got too dark. She had already called her father through her cell phone, letting her know that she was on her way home. She was walking fairly quickly home, trying to stay in the light. It was then that she looked up from her phone and saw a huge thing in front of her. It stopped and looked at her. She stood in shock and fear as the thing looked at her. Since her cell phone was up, she took a picture. When she looked down, she noticed that nothing showed up. But, it didn't make sense. It was right in front of her face. Then it roared and charged her. She ran towards the park, trying to get away from the massive thing.

Tsukuyomi had to feel out everything which made him rushing throughout the surroundings far more difficult then the normal individual. It didn’t take him long though before he was able to hear the sounds of some large monster. He assumed it was the hollow and kept rushing towards it. As he did that though he heard the sound of a female with a high pitched voice and it seemed based on the rate of her foot steps that she was in danger and running from the creature. He hadn’t known it, but they were all now in the park and he was getting very close.

He actually right then and there ran past the girl on her left side right as the hollow was right behind her. Tsukuyomi was able to tell where the beast was based on the breathing and sounds of his movement on the ground. Raising his right knee upwards with all his might Tsukuyomi could feel and hear the sound of his knee connecting under the chin of the hollow. It didn’t cause too much of an impact though. He could feel the hollow stop moving and step backwards.

As that happened he stepped forwards closing the distance between them again. He raised his right arm up elbowing the beast in the face between its eyes. Just as his arm pulled away his right leg rose from the ground and moved through the air in an arc kicking the side of the hollow’s face. Tsukuyomi right now was good at hand to hand combat and needed to rely on it. He didn’t have his zanpakuto with him and because of that he was forced to rely on his average physical attributes against this beast.

As the hollow moved backwards and looked Tsukuyomi over the boy listened intently on it making sure that if it was going to run away or attack he would be able to react in time. As this happened though he had to make sure that the girl was alright at least for the moment. “Girl if all you’re going to do is scream and run then run away now. I can’t have you distracting me while I protect your useless ass.” Tsukuyomi wasn’t the type of person to hold his tongue and just like that he spoke with no consideration for the girl or caution for what his words might bring back upon him.

Vesta was running, looking behind her frequently to make sure the big thing behind her wasn't going to pick up speed to eat her. Thankfully, she was able to keep ahead of it enough so it wasn't actively going to run her down. But, she didn't have the best stamina and she was starting to tire out a bit. She was still confused as to what was even going on. She took a picture of it and it didn't show up on her phone, as if it wasn't there. But she could see her. Her father told her that she was different and tried to explain exactly what race she was, but still, it didn't make that much sense to her. Though, he said that she was different.

If she remembered correctly, he told her that soon, she would come into her own unique power that came with her race. It was called a doll and the doll would protect her, if she stayed strong. He kept telling her once she got strong enough, she would hear the doll and it would tell her what needed to be done to summon it and use its power. Since then, she had been trying hard to try to listen for it, but nothing was coming to her. It was sad, but she knew that eventually, she would get strong enough to call upon it. She was just impatient and wanted to see what her doll would actually look like.

It was then that she thought she saw something coming towards her. Once it passed on her left side, she saw him. It was a boy, looking about her age, running towards the beast behind her. She was going to say something to stop him, or at least warn him of the beast. But, he just ran at it and started attacking. She looked around the park and the other people didn't seem to notice. She even ran up to one of the people around and asked if they could see what she was seeing. They looked over to where she was pointing and then looked back at her like she was crazy, saying that there was nothing there.

They walked off, and she just stared at them. How could they not see what was in front of them?! A huge monster and a teenager fighting?! She looked back up and there was a lull in the fighting. She walked a little closer to him and then the man spoke. Well, I guess he's more of a boy than a man. He accused her of being a distraction and useless. Oh, now she was angry. She was not useless or distracting. She grabbed a rock and threw it at the man. "WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU MEAN DISTRACTING AND USELESS?! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME! I AM NOT USELESS YOU IDIOT! DON'T MAKE ME COME OVER THERE AND BEAT YOU UP!"

The hollow wasn't moving much and Tsukuyomi wasn't sure if it was wise for him to rush it right away. In truth so far he couldn't tell the exact form of the beast. He had been told in the academy that a hollow could have a different body type. It didn't even need to be like most animals. Yet that didn't help Tsukuyomi anyway the only animal body type he knew about other then walking on two legs like he did was small animals that walked on all fours. So he was in the dark on what the form of the beast was he only knew that it was up to him to stop it.

The thing wasn't that effected by his assault against it's face something that made him spiteful at his own strength. He could hear the sound of the grass being pushed down slightly as the hollow moved slightly mainly shifting it's body weight to different limbs. He could hear the sound of a low growl in the throat of the beast and due that right now it was questioning whether or not it should fight him. Tsukuyomi at the moment didn't care if it fought him or not he just needed to kill the damn thing here and now.

That was when the sound of the girl's high pitched voice screamed out from behind him. It was far more taxing to actually pay attention to the slightly audible noise of the hollow's movements while this girl chose to scream at him for speaking the truth. She didn't see herself as useless and was offended that Tsukuyomi had said such a thing. That was when he heard the sound of something being picked up from the ground. He assumed that it was a rock and that she was going to react on rage without thought.

She did just that and threw the rock at him in rage. Tsukuyomi used this to his advantage and instead of turning his body and grabbing the rock before it hit him he side stepped to the right which caused the rock to keep going and hit the hollow in the nose. As the sound of a yelp began in the throat of the hollow Tsukuyomi vanished from sight. He had preformed Shunpo and was now right in front of the hollow kneeing it under the chin again. The rock was in the air right by him and with that object right there he grabbed it with his right hand.

With every but of strength that he had Tsukuyomi brought the rock down on the white mask of the hollow. He couldn't tell what color it was all he knew was that in the academy he was taught that the mask f a hollow was one of the two main weak points and that he would need to most likely attack them there. The mask chipped slightly and the hollow reacted by rushing forwards bashing Tsukuyomi off the ground. He landed on the ground a few feet away while the hollow let out a roar which caused difficulty focusing for him. "If you're not useless then prove it here and now girl. Don't just stand at the sidelines watching."

Vesta watched the rock travel through the air, but it didn't hit the man. Instead, it traveled through the air and hit the hollow, since he side stepped it. She was annoyed that her aim was off, but when it hit the beast, it yelped. It actually yelped. It pretty much made her stop in her tracks. Wow, the beast now reminded her of a dog. She was still pissed at him but she was so stunned by what the hollow did, she had completely lost her train of thought. Though, when the rock hit, the man followed up with some attacks. She watched as his attacks made the beast's face crack. She had no idea it could do that.

Then, he continued to talk to her, saying that she had to prove she wasn't useless. She was to not stand and watch but actually help him. Oh, he was definitely rubbing her the wrong way now. Who in the hell did he think he was? He was no better than her. Obviously, he thought that his crap didn't stink or was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, or however that saying goes. She was going to prove herself. She tightened her backpack around her. Well, it was a messenger bag, so she made it so that it was right up on her body. She found a stick as long as her forearm and grabbed a big handful of rocks. She stood next to the man and said, "Alright, you big butt, lead the way."

Well it seemed that this hollow was not going to be an easy kill. So far though it hadn't been able to land a good hit on Tsukuyomi so the young boy was letting it out to his head slightly. He had to remain calm and collected and make sure that nothing was going to sneak up on him. This hollow was the first one that he had encountered and so far it was more of an animal tan a monster. Tsukuyomi had been able to land every strike against the beast and when he had brought the rock down on it he had been able to hear the sound of the mask cracking.

That was when Tsukuyomi had heard the shift of movement behind him that was caused by the girl moving her messenger bag. It had been just enough to distract Tsukuyomi long enough which in reality was only a fraction of a second. The hollow had noticed and due to its size being that of a lion while moving more like a monkey without a tail the thing lunged at him. Tsukuyomi noticed and began to turn to face it, but as that happened the thing swung with it's left arm hitting Tsukuyomi.

The girl would find as she picked up the stick that Tsukuyomi had just been sent flying through the air past her. She would be able to feel the wind blow off her body that was created due to Tsukuyomi being sent through the air. His hair was moved forwards slightly not appearing much different due to the short length. After a few moments his body dropped to the grass covered ground of the park. Tsukuyomi could feel a good portion of pain on the right side of his body which wasn't good.

Tsukuyomi was a more dominate right then he was a left. That much must have been picked up on by the hollow after he had attacked it with his right leg and arm so much. It could have been possible also that the hollow had felt there was more strength in that side of his body and it would be best to strike that side. It was unclear if the hollow had even thought of either of these possibilities and instead just attacked like a beast. Tsukuyomi couldn't afford to think of that right now.

He was unable to tell that the girl had picked up the stick along with additional rocks. The sounds of those actions had been blurred from his ears while he had been sent flying through the air. He walked up towards the girl while his face was towards the hollow which right now was pacing back and forth as if awaiting an attack. "Well if you're going to help then do it!" Tsukuyomi spoke as he past by the girl. As he did that he vanished once again from sight.

He reappeared right in front of the hollow yet his feet were not touching the ground. He was slightly off the ground and actually kneeing the beast in the side of it's face. The hollow moved slightly and Tsukuyomi's feet touched the ground. He then spun to the right while extending his right leg outwards. In the next moment he completed a full spin and delivered a kick to the face of the hollow. He was going to get tired soon if this damn thing didn't die, but it seemed his strength wasn't enough to finish it off.

Vesta was grabbing all the things she thought she needed to help him combat this hollow. She hadn't noticed what was going on behind her. Well, she heard it, but since her back was turned to the action, she didn't know that he was going to get hit. But, hearing the sound of fighting, it made her want to grab things faster to help this mysterious man, well boy, that was helping her for some weird reason. She needed to ask him all about this after the fighting was over. Though, while she was grabbing her things, she felt wind whip by her. She turned and noticed the boy passing by her, like he had been hit by the beast.

She stopped mid grab, just in wonder that he actually got hit. From what she had seen earlier, it seemed like he was a seasoned warrior. But, seeing him getting up from the hit, she saw that he wasn't completely invincible. She had just assumed that since he was fighting it, he could defeat it fairly easily. Obviously, that was not the case now. He was slowly getting up, obviously sore from the hit. While he was walking towards her, she was finally able to get a good look at the boy that was trying to fight off this beast from killing her. At first, she didn't see anything too remarkable about him that would stand out to her and scream beast killer.

They were about the same height and size, so he didn't have any advantage in that department. It was obvious that he actually had fighting skills, since he could keep up with it and actually fight it. She, on the other hand, has had no combat experience at all. Her father had always stressed how important school and education was for her future. So, she had focused on that and never focused on any kind of self-defense. It's the reason she had run away from the beast and really, the only way she could help this boy was throwing rocks at the beast. He walked by her and said if she was going to help then do it. She was getting angry.

Could he not see that she was grabbing the stuff to help him now? He had just walked by her picking things up. How could he completely miss that? "Dude, you just walked by me. I'm getting the stuff ready now. How could you miss that idiot?! Are you blind or something?! Jeez man, you have to give a girl a minute to get ready. But, I promise you if you make another comment like that, I will throw rocks at your face." Then, she thought back to when he walked by. His eyes were closed. Why would someone's eyes be closed while fighting and walking unless... Well, now she felt a little stupid for saying that, but too late now. She faced the hollow and threw three rocks at the hollow, aiming for its face.

Life without color was something that so many creatures of life couldn't understand. Tsukuyomi was someone who for his entire life knew only one color which never left him. It was said to be the color of loneliness and sorrow when to Tsukuyomi it was life. As he fought off the hollow kicking the beast with all of his might he was able to her the comments spoken by the girl. She sure was either dumb as the rocks she most likely was picking up or she was a total bitch.

Tsukuyomi had been able to feel the body of the hollow that clashed with his right leg. It was rather big and dense. It didn't have any kind of fur on it that he could tell. All of it was flesh besides the bone like mask that he was attempting to focus on. The roundhouse kick that he had just preformed against the hollow had been enough to make it step backwards slightly. That was when Tsukuyomi heard something flying through the air. He moved to the right side again and just like that another rock flew past where he had been and hit the hollow right in the face.

The hollow screeched in pain due to the fact that the first rock had hit it right where it's mask was cracked. The girl had actually landed the perfect hit on the thing and caused the crack to spread and get slightly deeper. The sound of he thing screeching was irritating and slightly painful to Tsukuyomi and in an attempt to get the thing to shut up the boy rushed it again and kicked out with his left leg. He managed to land the hit due to the beast already being in pain and not paying attention.

He had kicked it in the face right above it's mouth and sent it back another step or so. As he brought his leg down to the ground again though the hollow hopped off the ground and somehow had been able to shift it's body backwards. In the next moment Tsukuyomi had literally been dropped kicked by the hollow which sent him flying backwards yet again. This time he was hit far harder then before and hit the ground hard causing the grass to be dug up and him to lay on the ground for a few moments.

Vesta watched as her rocks actually hit the beast. She looked at it in surprise. Well, she just guessed she had better aim than she thought. She watched as one of her rocks actually hit the hollow in a good spot, watching as the crack on the thing's face actually grew, getting deeper. It looked, from the angle that she was in, that she really had helped this mystery boy. She smiled at the good fortune of a hit landing and went into her bag to grab some more rocks to throw at this stupid thing. After quickly grabbing some rocks, she looked up to see what was going on.

It seemed that he was going to quickly attack, making use of the wound she had inflicted. She thought back to her comment and felt bad. She hadn't noticed before that his eyes were closed. She knew the only reason for that was because he was blind. She had just assumed that through his skill, he had no handicaps. For him to be able to still fight so well with his disability was impressive to say the least. He was landing a few kicks, but the next thing that she saw the beast do was rather impressive. She honestly didn't think anything that big could do something like that.

It was able to jump up in the air and drop kick him. Drop. Kick. Him. Her mouth hung open a little in wonder as the boy got kicked fairly hard and flew through the air. She followed with her eyes the arc he was taking in the air and once he was arcing down towards the ground to land, she quickly ran after him. She kept looking back and the hollow seemed to stay where he was for the time being. She thought that maybe it was still in a severe amount of pain and that's why it wasn't moving. After a few seconds, she ended up where he was and he looked pretty banged up.

She walked and knelt on his right side, by his head. She looked him over, but couldn't really see anything but bruises. Though, now that she was getting a good look at him, she had to admit that he was easy on the eyes. She felt a blush cover her face before turning to him. "Are you okay? Sorry about the comment I made earlier. I was stupid and didn't notice. But, the way you fought, it was like you weren't completely blind. It was cool." It was then that she turned and saw the hollow running at them. She stepped in front of the boy and yelled at the hollow, "COME GET SOME!" throwing more rocks at the hollow's face.

Tsukuyomi lay there on the ground intense pain coursing through his body as if it was his very blood. How had that thing even managed to execute an attack like that was beyond him. That type of attack was something that only an individual who had knowledge of martial arts should be able to accomplish. He had been told in the academy that hollows gave up their intelligence in hopes of greater power. Well it seemed that they had been wrong because that thing had just done something Tsukuyomi knew was difficult.

He hard the sound of foot steps coming up on him and for the first moment was about to attack. He realized right after the first moment though that the foots steps belonged to much smaller feet then that of the hollow. That meant that the girl was coming over to him. He had no clue why honestly he had been injured yes, but that hollow was the target and should be dealt with first. The girl asked him if he was alright and then explained why she hadn't thought him blind when she spoke against him a few moments ago.

Tsukuyomi thought it over for a moment and it seemed logical enough that she wasn't lying to him. Then the sound of the hollow rushing towards them along with the vibrations that moved through the ground below him. Tsukuyomi could tell that the thing was charging and that he needed to get up and stop it. At first his body rejected his attempt to stand and when that happened he heard the sound of the girl screaming at the hollow and starting to throw more rocks at it.

As the girl threw the rocks Tsukuyomi stood up in pain and listened. The rocks were connecting with it's body, but very few were hitting the mask and even fewer were hitting the area close to the crack. Tsukuyomi could feel the pain in his chest and knew that it would hurt a lot to use Shunpo now yet he didn't have much choice. Vanishing from sight again as he moved Tsukuyomi would appear in mid air to the side of the beast. He was off the ground a few feet like before yet was next to the right side of the hollow's head.

Tsukuyomi kicked upwards with his right leg hitting the hollow below the chin. This caused it's head to lift slightly which just so happened to work out perfectly. The last rock that the girl threw had been flying towards the hollow yet would have went right over it's head. Now it clashed with the crack and the mask shattered right on the forehead. The hollow screeched in pain and just as Tsukuyomi's feet touched the ground the boy punched into the shattered section of it's mask.

The hollow stopped screeching and then over the next few moments the girl would watch as it's body began to disappear. Tsukuyomi stood for a few moments and then dropped to the grass. He could feel a good deal of pain in his ribs and needed to take a moment to breathe. He was sitting down on his butt with his legs out in front of him. Then after a moment he laid down and put his hands behind his head. He hadn't really known how, but he was looking up at the moon and could feel the light of it washing over him.

When she stood in front of the hollow, she was scared, there was no doubt about that. But, she had to do something. The boy that was helping her was definitely injured, so she thought that he couldn't really help that much. So, she was doing the only thing that came to her in that moment. She would stand her ground and try her best to do something against this beast. At the very least, she could distract it enough so that they could get away. But, she was pretty sure that her aim would be off and that she would only succeed in pissing this thing off.

She then started throwing rocks at the beast while she heard movement behind her. She had no idea how he could, but she assumed that the boy was standing. Though, she had no idea how much pain he would be in, but if she got hit like that, she would assume that she would be in an extreme amount of pain to the point that she wouldn't want to move at all. Maybe he was made of sterner stuff than she was, she had no idea. She didn't look to check because the beast was pretty much running full tilt towards them. She couldn't afford to look away.

She saw the boy appear out of nowhere next to the beast's head and he kicked it and then punched it right in the face. Thankfully, one of the rocks she threw shattered the beast's face a bit so when the boy punched, it completely shattered its face. She watched, dropping the rocks in her hand as she saw the shattering of the thing's face. Even though it was coming after them, she felt bad. It had to be in a lot of pain, and she felt bad that she helped give it that pain. She just kept thinking to herself that it was self-defense. The next thing that she saw was pretty impossible.

The thing started to disappear. Literally disappear. Now, Vesta was confused. Why was the thing disappearing? She didn't focus on it long, because she watched the boy fall to the ground, land on his butt and then lay out on his back with his hands behind his head. She ran over and knelt down again by the right side of his head. She was now completely confused as to what was going on. But, before that, she looked him over again, making sure that he didn't seem injured. She lightly touched his face, to see how badly he was hurt.

"Hey, are you okay? It seems like you got hurt really bad. Can I help you with anything? Though, I have two questions for you. What in the world was that? I tried to take a picture and it didn't show up on my phone. I saw you run in to fight it and when I asked the people around me, they thought I was crazy because they didn't see you or that thing at all. If you could explain, I would really appreciate it. I know that I'm different, but I had no idea I was this kind of different." She sat back on her heels, waiting for an answer.

Tsukuyomi was laying on the ground with his hands behind his head trying not to move his body that much so soon after getting hit. He would like to simply get up and leave back to Soul Society and train some more, but knew that his body would need to at least relax for a few minutes. The sound of foot steps was coming close to him again. The foot stops were already imprinted into his mind. The was that they moved and sounded he could tell were small and due to the fact that every single person in existence walked a different way he could tell that this was the girl moving in on him for some reason.

It was a few more moments and then he could hear her lowering herself down into a sitting type of position. What came next was something that Tsukuyomi honestly would have never anticipated. The girl touched his face. Who does that in such a random way. Tsukuyomi was taken completely off guard by this and in fact couldn't think of what to say. He didn't have time to move her hand away before she asked her questions though and when that happened the thought of her hand on his face was gone.

"I'll be fine the thing didn't injury me bad enough to keep me down. That creature is known as a Hollow. They're a race of souls that are evil and will eat everything to get stronger. They can't be seen by normal humans and won't appear on most of the stuff in this world from what I've been told. You must be a special type of human if you're able to see the dead." Tsukuyomi from that point started to lean forwards off the ground and get into a sitting position.

She stayed kneeling by his face, leaving the hand there to make sure that he didn't have a fever or anything. She didn't know much about injuries, only that sometimes they accompany a fever. She was trying to be nice, but for some weird reason, she felt a little bit of a blush color her cheeks when she kept her hand on his face. She almost forgot about it while he was talking to her. Halfway through what he was saying, however, she remembered and quickly removed her hand from his face, still blushing. She didn't know why this boy had an effect on her like this, since she didn't even know him.

He told her that he was fine and that thing was called a hollow. She had never heard the term before herself. He then explained it was a race of souls that eat to get stronger and are evil in nature. He continued by saying that normal people can't see them and things from this world couldn't see them either, so she must be special to see them. When he added the dead part, she froze. But, when she saw him trying to sit up, she put her arm around his back to try to help him get to the sitting position. She felt bad he went through this to protect her, so she had to help as best she could.

It was then that she actually sat and thought about everything he had just said to her. So, that was a hollow and they are souls. Obviously, from what he said, they were the souls of dead people. But, based off her now own experience, no one could see him either. Did that mean he was a dead person too? But, how could he be dead? She could actually touch him. Though, now that she had, she didn't really feel what she would consider body heat coming off of him. She really didn't feel any kind of heat at all, nothing that she's felt from her friends or her father anyway.

She sat for a minute, taking this all in. So, being a Bount meant that she could see dead people, and give her special powers she didn't even understand yet? Wow. Her life sure was getting more interesting by the minute. She looked to the boy. "I guess being a Bount has its own perks after all... Though, if hollows are evil souls of the dead roaming around this world, what does that make you? As I said, no one was able to see you either. Does that make you a good soul that roams the world, defeating these things? And since you said this world, there are more than one? Is it like Heaven, this world and then Hell? Sorry, but I've been told I ask a lot of questions." She waited for an answer and to help when she could.

Tsukuyomi was sitting while the girl behind him squatted quietly obviously thinking everything over that had just occurred and that she had learned. Tsukuyomi knew that it would be best for him to speak with her and explain everything, but really he didn't feel like it. He didn't want to grow attached to someone else right after he had lost his mother. It wasn't time for him to grow attached and ultimately watch as someone that he loves dies without him having the power to save them.

He was able to feel her hand on his back and right away even if he didn't want her too it was pleasant to feel the warmth of her on his back. His ribs were still putting him in a rather horrible amount of pain and although he knew he'd be able to force himself up it still wasn't correct to do so. That was when the girl began to speak again and revealed what race she was. Tsukuyomi heard the term Bount while he was in the academy yet it was one of the things that he couldn't recall any details about.

That was when the girl asked the question that he himself had been thinking of when he arrived in this realm. Was he dead? That was something that he honestly couldn't figure out. He assumed it made sense yet at the same time it was cruel and not fair that someone could be born dead. That made no sense and actually went against what one could believe. So honestly were the Shinigami all dead or were hollows even dead? It just didn't make any type of sense to him went he actually started to think about it.

Well she asked if it made him a good soul that was meant to defeat these things which Tsukuyomi assumed to be correct. It made sense he was now a Shinigami and their job was to protect the world of the living from eh threat of hollows. So it made sense that the world of the living would look at the Shinigami as those that follow the path of light and could be described as good. Tsukuyomi moved his right hand up to his forehead as he began to search through his thoughts on all of her questions.

So she really was asking a ton of questions at once. Now she was curious about there being other realms of existence. Well it made complete sense for her to want to know this type of thing now that she knew other types of entities actually exist. So he thought over the worlds that he actually knew of. From his knowledge there was a total of three different realms. He would have to give her a small amount of information to make her know the difference between them.

Prior to him being able to actually able to answer her questions she asked if they were similar or even the same as things called Heaven or Hell. Tsukuyomi had never heard of these terms before and as such wasn't sure what she was associating the other realms too. Turning around Tsukuyomi sat in front of the girl with his right hand over the left side of his ribs. He had to make sure that the bruising wasn't going to cause incredible internal bleeding which would lead to further damage which honestly was why he was still sitting down.

"I'm a spiritual race known as a Shinigami. I'm someone tasked with keeping the hollows from eating the souls of the dead that are still pure. I also have to make sure that they don't kill the living or cause much damage to anything really. I assume that due to me protecting humans and doing my best to defeat the things that want to eat everyone I can be considered good. As for "Heaven and Hell" I don't know what those are so I can't tell you if the other realms are those things."

"What I can tell you though is that there are two other realms. The two other realms are the homes of the different spiritual races that you have seen tonight. The one that I'm from goes by the name Soul Society and is a lot like the human world in nature. The realm of the hollows is known as Hueco Mundo and is an endless desert that is permanently cast in nights darkness."
