It was back in the eleventh barracks where the white haired shinigami was waiting for his third seat. Apparently, there was a transfer whom had come in from another diviison. The shinigami's arm was wrapped in the badge that signified he was the Lieutenant of this division. Takashi was resting up against the wall. His eyes were towards the ground, leaning back. His left leg was bent, pressed up against the wall. The shinigami's arms were folded, he blinked slowly. He though of the mission that was to take place soon, unsure of why one of the packs the eleventh had sent out hadn't came back.
They were going to check on hollow activity in a certain abandoned waterpark area. Apparently, there were strange reiatsu phenomena along with hollow activity. With that, the eleventh had sent out a squad to check it out. It had been a week and a half and they hadn't come back. Because of this, more drastic measures had to be taken. It was agreed upon that the Fuku-taichou would take the next lowest seat to check it out; so here he was. The shinigami simply looked down, this person was late. However, his mind was focused upon something else; a distant look in his eyes. It appeared as though he were in deep thought. Truthfully, the white hair man could only think of the men whom he hoped were still alive.

Itami Shokutabi, Ex-Fraccion of the Espada, felt an unusual large amount of Reiatsu occurring off in the distance. He has never been to a water park before nor has he heard of it before. Though he’s not restricted on what he can do and what he can’t do anymore. The Reiatsu was vague however, so he couldn’t tell if it was Hollow or something else. Of course that probably doesn’t help that he’s about 13 miles away from the site, but still for him to feel it from this point is quite unusual. He can only hope it’s not the Espada for he just isn’t in the mood to deal with them right now. He can’t really trust anyone, for he’s an enemy on all sides. Shinigami, Quincy, Fullbringer, Sinner, Hollow, and Arrancar have registered him to be an enemy. All on one single Arrancar, but thankfully he kept to himself while in the Espada so that he could slip out as quietly as he slipped in.
“I suppose it can’t hurt to investigate, it’s not like I’m doing anything anyways.” Itami said to himself in a deep yet smooth voice as he started to walk away from a site of gore and death. Previously Itami had to deal with some ignorant Hollows, who must have gotten a taste of Shinigami blood for they were going into frenzy for more Shinigami. However Itami put an end to that by killing them himself. All that’s left of the hollows is lumps of ripped flesh that got torn apart by Itami and crushed skulls that appears to have caved in revealing nothing but a hollowed out shell with their spines brutally ripped out and most of their limps are twisted and crushed in ways that would be deem impossible. However despite all of this, Itami hasn’t devoured a single Hollow. He just left them in their pathetic state for the Shinigami or whoever to clean up.
The cool breeze blew over his face as his crimson red eyes seemed to glow and the breeze combs through his long, jet black, spiky hair that covers most of his forehead and partially his right eye. With his hands covered in blood, he looked like he just committed mass murder and should’ve creep everyone out. That is if the humans can see him for that matter. He seriously doubted it, for these people had Reiatsu low enough to be considered not even worth looking at as a meal. He had crimson red cloak that’s shredded at the end, normally Arrancars from the Espada would wear those plain white uniforms, but Itami was of course unique. Underneath that cloak that looks like it’s been soaked with blood before and has forever remained that color but doesn’t have that decay smell blood would normally give off after a while; was a silky black, short sleeved shirt that had a v neck exposing his collarbone a bit while wearing a pair of kakis that seems rather baggy like cargo pants almost with the many pockets it has. He even wear boots that appears to be steel toed, adding additional weight to his step. But he hardly makes a noise as his Reiatsu blends in with the humans’ Reiatsu and heads for the site.

Hotaru had just transferred herself to the Eleventh Division. Due to her strength, the Eleventh Captain, Iro Kuchiki, decided that she would make a great Third Seat for the Division. She had yet to meet the captain, but when her transfer was approved, it was written on there she would become the Third Seat. She was getting closer and closer to her goal of becoming a Captain. This was just the first few steps.
As she walked to her new barracks, she was told that she would meet her new Vice-Captain for a mission immediately. She didn't know a lot of the details about the mission, since they told her the Vice-Captain would fill her in on the majority of the details. All they told her is that she would be hunting down a hollow that needed to be defeated immediately. She was also told that he would be waiting outside for her.
She was really curious who it would be. The closer she got to the barracks, she thought she noticed one person waiting outside of the barracks. She assumed that that person was the Vice-Captain. Then, she noticed the badge on the person's arm. It was definitely her Vice-Captain. But the closer she got, the more she couldn't believe. It was Takashi. It seemed like he was always there above her. She kept all comments to herself while she walked up. "Hotaru Kuchiki, Third Seat, reporting as ordered."

Just what was happening to his men? Takashi hadn't interacted much with these men but he had hoped that they were alright. He was the new Fukutaichou, as such, it would be his mission to bring them in. He felt a burden weigh on him as he continued to ponder on these lost souls. Why was it that they had disappeared? He hoped he would be finding the answer to this question. It seemed however, that his third seat was running late. Takashi was always punctual with things, as such, he was here exactly on the dot. The man had consideration for time.
His distant gaze, however, was broken by spotting something in his peripherals. As he turned, his eyes narrowed upon the newcomer. Now this was surely interesting. He was staring at the woman whom he'd come to know as Hotaru Wakashi. This woman apparently had transferred? Well that was the only logical explanation. He wasn't sure why she had transferred, a part of him believed it was for him. It was a bit flattering to say the least but oh well. It was then that she introduced herself as Kuchiki. Either this girl was a crazy stalker that wanted to be like Takashi...or Sozen had a hand in this.
"It is indeed a surprise to see you here Hotaru. I am assuming the Kuchiki surname means you have been indoctrinated into the family...welcome. I haven't the time to ask you the details as we must go. I shall brief you within the Spiritual gates". With that the man opened the gate into the human world. He began to walk forward, hoping Hotaru would follow him. While they walked, the shinigami spoke of the disappearances and gave all the details to Hotaru; just so she was fully briefed. Soon, they would exit to the human world, the gates opening to a strange abandoned park. Takashi stepped out and looked around, his eyes narrowed. He hoped that the woman would be close behind him.

She stood in front of Takashi. She could tell from what he said that he was actually surprised she was now a Kuchiki. She was still surprised about it herself, because it was still new to her. He then told her that they needed to leave immediately and she would get briefed in the spirit gates. She nodded her agreement and quickly followed Takashi towards the gates. It wasn't too hard to keep up with him, but she wanted to tell him why she even transferred squads.
Once, inside the gates, she was told what was going on. It seems as though shinigami were being sent out to the human world to go after a hollow. But, the teams of shinigami never returned and it had been about a week. She knew that was pretty much unheard of, especially with Eleventh Division squads. Her new squad was known to go in, get the job done, and leave in a pretty quick manner. It was weird that they weren't coming back.
So, they were sent to go take care of this hollow. It made sense since they were the highest ranked in the squad, next to the captain. Once they exited the gate, they appeared in what humans called a 'waterpark.' She had never been to one, but she could tell that it was pretty rundown. It is a good spot for a hollow to stay, enough dark spots where they could hide during the day. "Just so you know, I switched to Squad 11 so I could gain strength under Iro-taichou and the other squad members. Gain strength to beat you."

Itami was approximately half a mile away from the site when he felt two more signatures coming from this water park or whatever these humans call it. One of them he recognized to be Hotaru's signature, but the other one however he doesn't recognize at all. He knew it was another Shinigami of course, for it was both common sense and the signature has the same type of Reiatsu all Shinigami has. It doesn't radiate the same kind of torment and darkness like Hollows do. 'Perhaps they're here to investigate as well?' Itami thought to himself as he continued to walk. His spiritual pressure is hidden and blends in with the humans' Reiatsu.
He was half tempted to just turn around and leave. For all he knows is that those two are more likely hunting something. It would certainly be problematic if he shows up and they drew their swords at him. However, Hotaru and him have been in friendly terms the past two times they encountered each other. So he can only hope the other one is reasonable and understanding.
He could just Sonido there and go ahead to get his introduction done and over with. However he has feeling that he should just walk there just to be on the safe side. For one he's only a few minutes away from the site. Two it would look bad if he just suddenly appeared especially the way he is right now. For his hands are now crusted and doesn't have as much blood as before, but its still visible. Plus he has specks of dried blood on his cheek just below his visible left eye.
Those few minutes had passed as if it was just mere seconds to his mind. He made it to the gates which was closed to bar anyone from getting in or out. That would work if he was just some bystander human, but he wasn't fortunately. So he used the air ground to walk up to get over the gate and land back to the ground with just a soft tap from his boots. It's moments like this that amuses Itami and has him be thankful that he was an Arrancar. Up ahead of him he could hear voices, one was soft while the other was rather smooth like water. Itami has his presence hidden from anyone or anything that's searching for his Reiatsu as he blends in the shadows of some large structure that looked like you could slide in.
Regardless of what his current affiliation with, one thing remained true in Jack's heart: Karakura was his town. And regardless of how much he hated it sometimes, regardless of it's seedier aspects, and regardless of the goddamn war of Shinigami, Fullbringers, Quincy, and Hollows that seemed to be utilizing Karakura as a battlefield, it was still his town, and he was happy to kill to preserve it. Maybe not die, but certainly happy to kill. And today's mission (was it really a mission if no one assigned it to him? Modern philosophical question) was no exception.
He'd heard about the Hollow from spiritual contacts, ones that he was beginning to develop from killing Hollows, and the occasional other spiritual entity. Even just hearing about the water park brought back memories. It hadn't been abandoned when Jack was a kid, growing up in this town. Nah, the incident that had forced it to close down had come a few years after Jack had visited it the last time. The details of it escaped him right now, but he remembered that it had happened during the summer, about ten years ago or so.
He'd arrived at the water park via a car drop off a few blocks away, then walking the remaining distance, staying low and close to structures. Jack was adept at masking his presence in environments that were either urban, or semi-urban, and the water park certainly qualified. It didn't make sense to travel the whole distance from his original hideout to the waterpark, but showing up directly seemed a little overly flashy. He wasn't exactly traveling light, he had his usual assortment of knives, wire, and bells, located among his personal details, in such a way that they wouldn't shake.
As he approached the waterpark, he noted two shinigami speaking to each other. Of course, he was too far away to hear what they were saying, but they'd likely be discussing mission objectives. Unfortunately, Jack recognized one of them. A shinigami that he'd fought before, and barely escaped with his life. Of course, Jack had gotten stronger since then, but the Shinigami likely had as well. Best to stay out of sight, and out of mind, until they actually reached the Hollow in question.

While the four that had arrived might all possess considerable skill it seemed almost none trusted potential allies. It seemed only the Shinigami that arrived planned on executing the hollow together. While it was understandable that an Arrancar might not wish to work alongside Shinigami it still might not be the safest of decisions. It seemed that almost every single one of the spiritual individuals had learned of the hollow that was said to be inside the waterpark. Yet did any of them know of the horrors that has occurred over the last few weeks. There was a reason this hollow was inside this waterpark even after weeks of being attacked now these individuals were going to find out why.
Right as the Fullbringer started to move stealthily throughout the waterpark something changed. An eerie sinister reiatsu seemed to infect the air of the waterpark. Anyone of the individuals would be able to sense this reiatsu it seemed distant like it was hiding behind something. A few moments after the reiatsu arrived the waterpark seemed to arrive along with it. The large empty pools and long curving slides began to flow with water once again. Crystal clear as if all the water had been purified by those who oversaw the park long ago. Now though it seemed the hollow had claimed this place as its own and it had intruder on its property.

"Well, well. Look at this motley crew. Do you honestly think you'll be able to do anything at all about a beast like this?"
The speaker was a large, bipedal...thing hovering about ten feet in the air. It walked towards them with absolute poise and a stance that oozed nothing but confidence. They rose a clawed hand towards Hotaru, wiggling the fingers quite slowly and then turning to take in all of the others. If he was any judge, each and every one of them could crush him into the dirt...and even they would have a hard time against the hollow that had entered this water park. It disturbed him to think that something this powerful, this destructive, and this careless was causing trouble in his land.
His world had been peaceful up to now; there had been the odd few hollows or shinigami who tried to track him down and kill him. They were usually evaded or dissuaded, and as an absolute last resort were dispatched. Always in such a way that it couldn't tie back to him. He took great care not to let himself be seen as another mindless, helpless monster. He had far more to offer, and he was going to be good for so much more in time. But for now, he needed to wait.
And he couldn't do that when something as reckless and stupid as this beast was running around. It was clever, in ways that he couldn't even begin to put into words, but that changed nothing; it was quite simply too stupid to understand that there were better ways to reach the same result. And in time he'd be sure to teach it. But for now, he had to make sure he didn't just end up following in its footsteps.
"They say to catch a thief one must think like a thief. There's a grain of truth to that. This is a hollow, ladies and gentlemen. Hollows aren't like most animals. And the only one who can truly understand one is another hollow. Yaksha Dokuja, at your service. Please treat me kindly."

There was an ominous aura which filled the confines of the simple amusement park. The strange sensation danced within Takashi's heart. He could sense the black plague which nested within this area. The jabber of Hotaru wasn't heard by Takashi, he was far too focused on this sensation that he felt. He kept his eyes rested upon the area within his sight. As if it weren't creepy enough, there was yet another voice to fill the air.
Takashi's bored eyes slowly turned towards the speaker. His crystal blue eyes narrowed as he saw whom it was. However, it didn't change his bored and near expressionless expression in the slightest. It was strange, it was simply a strange hollow that was around. He didn't seem like anything special, it could be a trap. However, his curiosity was peaked. With his secret visit to Las Noches, he realized that not all hollow were inherently bad. Surprised further, was this creature. Though ominous, he didn't seem to possess a sinister feel to him. This was however, a perfect time to test the theories that had formulated within his mind on the nature of hollow.
Even more surprising was the willingness of this hollow to fight alongside shinigami. Perhaps this was a ruse, a normal person would think that. However, fully knowing that he could be cut in half, the hollow approached; interesting. Takashi blinked as he looked towards the creature. Hotaru was standing next to him, he was unsure of what she thought of him. However, he had the manners to introduce himself, which further proved Takashi's theory.
Takashi Kuchiki, a pleasure.". The shinigami gave the hollow a bow before raising his head. " It is unusual that a hollow wishes to aid shinigami. However, I cordially accept your offer Yaksha. Perhaps you may confirm something that plagues my mind. In any matter, as you know the inner details of hollow, will you elaborate on the actions which you will have us take?"
Suddenly, the Vice Captain gave control of the mission to the hollow; a rather strange turn of events. However, Takashi wasn't foolish. He simply hadn't any leads and one seemed to plop right on to his lap. With that, he hoped that things would continue and he'd find who murdered his divisions men. He turned to Hotaru, waiting for her to greet herself to the hollow.
