Hotaru stopped talking when she noticed that Takashi really wasn't listening to her, so she shut up. She tried to use her senses to try to feel out the area. Her energy senses were horrible, but she could feel that there was something ominous aura that was hanging over this place. She understood why Soul Society sent them here. There was definitely up with this place. She didn't like this feeling she was getting from this place.
Then, she heard a familiar voice in the waterpark. She followed Takashi's gaze and saw Yaksha standing there. They really didn't part on the best of terms the last time they met, but she hoped that wouldn't effect him now. She looked towards Takashi and he looked just as bored as ever. She looked towards Yaksha and tried to see if there was anything different about him. But, she couldn't tell any difference in this hollow than from the first time they met.
She was really surprised that he wanted to fight with them. From what he told her the last time they met, she never thought that he would be interested in fighting alongside the shinigami. Especially what he told her about the shinigami during their last meeting. She thought about it and figured that this could all be a ploy for him. It could be another way for him to further whatever weird goals he has to be the only villian in the world.
She then listened to Takashi as he spoke to him. He introduced himself and voiced what she was thinking about how it was weird for a hollow to aid the shinigami. Though, he accepts his offer of help. He also wanted Yaksha to confirm things that plague his mind. She knew it! She figured that there was a reason that he showed no emotion. He must be so conflicted, it's like raging emotions inside his body so strong, he doesn't want to show them to the outside world.
She was so caught up in that thought that she almost lost what he said towards the end. He told Yaksha to elaborate on what actions he would have us take. She also did a double take with that one. She was surprised that her Vice Captain was willing to give up control of the mission to this hollow that he just met. It must be his inner raging storm of emotions that made him say that. He looked towards her and she talked to him. "Hello again, Yaksha. How have you been doing since our last encounter? I hope it's been well."
