Name: Power Limiter Description: This is a device created long ago by the twelfth division for a Shinigami who could not find a worthy adversary for his blade, and so purposely weakened himself so he could enjoy battle. At a glance this item is a piece of fabric, usually fashioned into something like a wrist band, choker, anklet or eye patch, though custom variations are possible. However the item is not merely fabric but is semi-biological, featuring a number of gnashing jaws on one side of the fabric (usually the side touching the user’s skin). The Power Limiter actively inhibits and devours excess reiatsu, weakening the user while this is in effect. In addition to allowing the user to fight lower-level opponents without holding back, the limiter is also useful to allow someone to masquerade as being weaker than they actually are.
In essence, while the limiter is worn, the user’s spiritual stats are reduced by 50% (100 would be 50) and their physical stats are reduced by 20% (100 would be 80). To all but the most attentive of observers, there is no indication that the user’s power is being suppressed. Individuals with an Energy Sensory of 400 or greater can detect that something is unusual with the wearer’s reiatsu, but still cannot inherently tell that it is being weakened or suppressed.
Class: 5 Item Type: Utility Item Power (IP): 100 Offense Type: N/A Durability: 100 Bonuses: While wearing this item, the user can appear much weaker than they really are. Only Energy Sensory of 400 or higher can notice something unusual with their reiatsu, as the user’s reiatsu isn’t being suppressed but is in fact, actively weaker due to wearing this. Drawbacks: As mentioned above, while worn the item reduces the user’s Reiatsu Strength and Spirit Pressure by 50%, and reduces their Strength and Speed by 20%. These reductions stack with other negative modifiers from other abilities or items.
Name: Seele Schneider Description: A decently sized shaft of spiritual steel resembling that of a sword hilt, with a small loop on the end of it. These Quincy items are necessary for the technique of the same name to be activated. When activated, a medium-length blade of Reiatsu is formed from the hilt. This blade vibrates at very high frequencies, and is capable of loosening the bonds between Spirit Particles, and then stealing the free Spirit Particles. Type of Item: Tool/Weapon Class: 1 Item Power (IP): Varies. Offense Type: Spiritual. Durability: 4,000 Bonuses: When the Seele Schneider is activated, it has an IP of 0. However, it cannot be overpowered by a technique of equal or inferior class, regardless of that technique's offensive stat. Instead, any technique that interacts with Seele Schneider has its Offensive Stat reduced by 100, and then the Seele Schneider's IP increases by 100. If the Seele Schneider interacts offensively with a Reiatsu-based being - such as a Shinigami, Arrancar, Hollow Akki, Rogue or Beast-Clan - then the person struck loses 50 Reiatsu, and the Seele Schneider's IP increases by 50. This includes when the Seele Schneider strikes an extension of that being's soul, such as part of their Zanpakutō or Resurrección. At any stage, the Seele Schneider can be fired by the user, using their standard bow, as an arrow. This arrow has an IP and Speed equal to that of the Seele Schneider's IP at the time of firing. Drawbacks: The Selee Schneide can only be activated at a Class equal to or lower than the user's. The Selee Schneide can only steal Reiatsu from techniques or beings whose Class is lower to, or equal to, the Class of the Selee Schneide. The costs for activating the Selee Schneide is the same as normal Quincy arrows of the same Class, and cost that much Reiatsu per post in order to maintain. While these items are reusable if they can be retrieved, a Seele Schneider's Hilt will always take damage to its durability as though it were a Class 8 Item, with 0 IP. The Hilt itself must be damaged in order to reduce its durability, however. This items is only usable by Quincies, Nakabakki-Quincy, or Failures.
Name: Guren no Kamen Description: A thick metal mask of considerable weight with a very aggressive look to it with intense downturned brows. The face is very angular with a strong nose. The mask instead of having a mouth has four slit openings vertically that are only about the size of a pencil in thickness. The mouth looks almost like it’s screaming despite the mouth being partially connected. The mask is colored crimson red with pitch black markings that resemble many circles. The eye holes have black lenses that hide the eyes of the wearer. Once put on the mask stays attached using then reiatsu of the wearer like glue. It can be taken off when the wearer suppresses their reiatsu in the same manner as one would to hide themselves normally. Class: 1 Item Type: Utility/Armor Item Power (IP): 800 Offense Type: N/A Durability: 1200 Bonuses: This mask is made from Spirit Ore granting it all the positives and negatives of that material. Additionally though the mask has been built with two other functions the first of which are the four slits over the mouth. By infusing reiatsu into the mask, poison is prevented from entering the slits. This enables the wearer to maneuver through poisoned areas without harm for a short period. So long as the poison doesn’t possess a superior OS/IP to the mask. (2 posts/costs 100 reiatsu, cooldown of 2 posts) The moment the mask is put on the reiatsu signature of the user is altered in sensation to that of 100 Dark Aura and the feeling of an Arrancar. Those that can sense reiatsu will feel the wearer is an Arrancar with only those few truly gifted at sensing reiatsu being able to peer at the true nature. (+400 ES) Any reiatsu type attacks that make contact with the mask are bounced back on the same path they traveled. This will cause projectiles such as Arrows or Beams to reflect back at the originator. Melee attacks that use reiatsu have the reiatsu portion reflected onto the user while the physical portion is unaffected. Reiatsu that isn’t inherently offensive such as smoke will stay near the mask, but will be kept a foot away. Attacks that possess superior OS or are Class +2 cannot be reflected. Increases the strength requirement to move by 25.
Bow Final and Zero Property have been Unlocked. Choosing Option 1
The first effect makes the regeneration cost of one property go to zero, which means a Quincy can use their Quincy Cross and Spirit Fragment at a 100/75/50 percent efficiency with 1/2/3 properties active, respectively. This is opposed to 75/50/25 percent.
Bow Final: This ability pours all current Reiatsu into one single arrow shot that takes the bow along with it once fired. Reiatsu cannot be taken in by the Cross or Spirit Fragment until three posts after this attack. The arrow is huge and moves at triple the user's speed. Its Reiatsu Strength is equivalent to however much Reiatsu was given up to make it.
Technique Description and Effects: Perhaps one of the most useful applications of Ginto in the modern age in the human world, this technique enables practitioners to seal objects inside the ginto. These items can be stored simply by putting them onto the ginto or placing the ginto onto them afterwards the item will seemingly slip inside the small tube. In order to take out an item from the ginto one must reach inside while either thinking about what they want or saying aloud the item. Once the user has become proficient in use they can say aloud the item they want and the ginto will spit it out for them. Once Mastered though the user can seal and release multiple items at once simply by thinking about it. By holding the ginto against them the user through thought can hypothetically change everything they’re wearing with a different outfit inside the tube.
How to use technique: Place items against the top of the ginto tube while either thinking or speaking aloud what you want from the tube.
Technique Drawbacks: Must be holding the tube. Can only store items up to the size of a fridge meaning that vehicles and massive weaponry cannot be stored.
Technique Description and Effects: This technique takes on the appearance of an Reiatsu arrow that has a blunt head with lining engraving on the head. Once fired off the arrow can be activated by the caster snapping their fingers. This will cause the arrow to break apart into a large Reiatsu net. The net is ten feet squared. The second option is that the arrow makes contact with a target. Once this has occurred the arrows transfers itself into long thick Reiatsu chains that wrap around the target binding them in place. The truth of the technique is that the arrow is a morphed version of the standard arrow. This also allows for the technique to be utilized through bow releases with slightly differ appearance to the arrows in use. (Bullets become completely blunt tipped) This basically grants a single arrow an additional effect.
How to use technique: Concentrate the Reiatsu into the arrow as norm. Then once fired either snap one’s fingers to activate or upon contact the technique will self activate.
Technique Drawbacks: This technique can only be done once every three posts. Once activated the technique stays stable for a total of two posts until failing. The net of the technique can be broken if the opponent attacks with an offensive stat greater than the user's Reiatsu Strength.
{Aegis} Name: Spirit Ore: Aegis Description: A massive thick metal shield that is forged from Spirit Ore. Approximately 6’5” in height while being 4’ in width with a thickness of two inches this shield is a monster, something that realistically shouldn’t even be called a shield, but instead a wall. Shaped simply in a rectangle design with no outlines the only thing that sets it apart from a different slab of metal are the straps on the back allowing it to be held and attached like a typical shield which are made of normal leather. The other is the design on the front. The circular crimson red crest of the Masurao family has been placed over the pitch black metal for all who dare oppose it. Class: 1 Item Type: Defensive Item Power (IP): 800 Offense Type: N/A Durability: 1200 Bonuses: Any reiatsu type attacks that make contact with the metal are bounced back on the same path they traveled. This will cause projectiles such as Arrows or Beams to reflect back at the originator. Melee attacks that use reiatsu have the reiatsu portion reflected onto the user while the physical portion is unaffected. Reiatsu that isn’t inherently offensive such as smoke will stay near the metal, but will be kept a foot away.
Perhaps the most underhanded aspect of Aegis comes from the Masurao Crest on the front of its body which has a passive pull on those that gaze upon it. Now it doesn’t pull anyone physically instead once they see the crest they feel an almost compulsive urge to look back at it. Like a young individual looking at someone across the room they find attractive, it’s almost unintentional. This serves to split their focus while opening up moments for attack in combat. Drawbacks: This is a thick heavy metal that can’t be turned into a full suit of armor nor anything flexible meaning only certain things can be made and 1 at a time. A chestplate, gauntlets, shin guards, shields, helmet etc are all possible. Each piece carried increases the Strength requirement to move by an additional 25 points. Reiatsu attacks that surpass the IP of the metal aren’t reflected, instead clashing against the metal like normal. Although made from Spirit Ore due to the amount of its body this shield can only be picked up or moved by those that possess 300 Strength making this truly a wall.
