“Everything pretty much looks the same.” Asmoskon looked all around as he took step after step throughout Okinawa. This place was still vivid in his memories as he had grown up here. His parents had still been alive when they all had been forced from their home after the Vandenreich attack. The loss of his grandfather had been the firsts major scar that anyone had ever inflicted on him. The first of many that he wouldn’t ever forgive. It wasn’t like he only had that single scar for long though. He kept going to school while continuing his studies as a Quincy, yet only a few years later both of his parents were killed as well.
More than half of his life now he’d been without those that cared for him while he had been young. It was a pain that he wouldn’t ever overcome yet one that he had lived to accept. His goal would always remain the same. The issue now more than ever though was actually having what he’d need to succeed in that goal. In such a short span of time the only person he felt could aid him in his goal had been killed and replaced. Along with the love of his life suddenly vanishing he was once again alone with only those that he had saved throughout the years giving him enough essence to continue. He knew he could continue if he gave into his darkness once again yet wished to remain who he had become now as long as possible.
Making his way over to a food stand with stools behind a curtain that sat in front of a wooden counter the young man sat down. “One bowl of rice and kimchi. Single glass water please.” Asmoskon in the habit of the underworld placed down the appropriate funding for the small order on the counter. As he waited for his meal to finish he closed his eyes and took a moment to inhale. Realizing in that moment that he could feel the reiatsu of someone near him. The reiatsu of something he hadn’t felt in a bit of time, a Bount.

The leaves rustled a bit from the passing wind. Thin branches snapping under the slightest hint of movement against their stems. Movement along the tall trees that resided on both sides of the walkway, turning into small shrub bushes that were only up to shoulders height. Open sea on one side with the bit of land that covered the opposite. A small quiet living could be made here without knowing the turmoil that went on in the mainland. Seemingly almost untouched by man as it used much of its own natural landscape to build strong foundations of land to build upon. The island itself was once served to be a natural fortress, capable of seeing the enemy coming from all sides. Yet, that was if they were Human. Ordinary clumps of flesh that didn't have the strength of the supernatural, like those that finally got whiff of what resided on this island.
For weeks they were tracking down individuals with certain reiatsu. A special sort that rarely came out of their own dimension, or rather that stuck itself in a plane that was made to remain in between realms. Aura didn't know what the Hell the facts were concerning the Quincies, but she managed with what her network could scavenge. Not a lot of information on them given that they keep to themselves, resembling much of a cult of some kind. Which honestly did show how much she knew about their enemy, about her enemy. What Luke knew about them must be considerable when she can't find hardly anything. From locations to people, what she had at her disposal she couldn't make a dent in her curiosity of what made Luke so fearful of them. Fullbringers, Shinigami, Hollows, she knew more about the special Humans than that of the this Vandenreich threat that the Bount warned her about.
It wasn't until a single Quincy came up to threaten one of her Bounts that they got a lead, or at least some idea. Special garments, some strange form of magic they used were some characteristics that they had were different compared to the others, yet organized like the Shinigami. Aura had a hard time to recollect the memories if the Doctors spoke about them. The Doctors of when the Bount was held as a lab experiment, they talked a lot about the matters concerning the outside. She knew of the Quincies, but next to nothing about this "Invisible Empire." Maybe that was what made them dangerous? This Empire would strike from nearly out of no where, before anyone could realize it, then vanish back to where it was that they came from. Very much like the same tactics that the Bounts were to be using at this point in time, but they had an entire dimension to themselves. How were the Bounts going to compete against that?
Fighting the Vandenreich was going to prove difficult with the little information that they had on them already. What Aura had to figure out was how strong they were. Some way to gauge their power, or at least get a solid idea as to how they would fight in general. The single Quincy that they managed to capture didn't give a whole lot of information. Merely some details regarding who they were, spouting out some nonsense about some Emperor, their so called "God" would bring divine judgement on their heads. A bit of torture and still they only got some facts from the horses mouth. Based on that lone Quincy, an average Bount would be able to take care of them with just a single Doll. Perhaps more Quincies if they were among the same level of strength. Luke wouldn't have been scared so easily by something like that would he?
There was more to this than that. A warning that came from Luke wouldn't have been repeated over and over again if they were that weak. There was something more to it. All the more reason why the Bounts who were scouting for more of their kind were to locate any other Quincies. They all had a taste of the man's reiatsu, feeling it, familiarizing themselves with it. It was....odd to say the least. It was different from the others, like as if it was spiked with something. Something that lingered it in. Aura could tell the difference between a Human, a Shiningami, and a Hollows reiatsu from taste alone. Each one had some sort of distinction to tell one apart from the others. The Quincies had that in common with the others in their uniqueness. It was strange. This is what allowed the Bounts to find one around some parts of Okinawa. One reiatsu in particular that stood out from the Humans in the region, one that was keeping itself isolated away from what was going on in Japan.
This is what made it easier to track down, and better yet, it was alone. It was faint, but clearly visible when up close. But of course, the Bounts wouldn't have told Aura about it if they weren't sure if this was a Quincy. Talk about a waste of time if she were to engage the person and turned out that they were just another Human; mistaken identity. They had to get it right and confirm whether this was a definite Quincy or not before reporting back. And surely enough, they did. This is what brought Aura to Okinawa alone. She had to be the one to confirm how strong the Quincies could be if this one was confident enough to be by itself. He resided in a rather luxurious home. One that often had a sense of refinement, marking them to be seemingly part of nobility. To be alone and having been established to be regarded highly among the Humans, then this Quincy must have been something indeed. Maybe some bit of caution was in order.
She followed the path taking her to the home, pebbles decorating the stone blocks blended into the ground, each step was only drawing her closer to the one in question. Black hair wafting at her sides, hanging just an inch away from her exposed collar. Donning a black corset top with nothing more than an open silk jacket, thigh high pants and boots, the Bount followed the man from the thick bush of the trees as he went about his way toward the town below. A food stall? Her red eyes followed every movement he made, dining in to the bowel of steamed white rice and fermented spiced cabbage. He was just eating. She wanted to make the move now before he was nearly done, though etiquette kept her hand from moving.
The sun was losing its settling presence, falling down past the horizon. Once the shine dwindled away did Aura's hand found the smooth curve shaft of a parking meter. No one was around it, and no one about to cross her path. Her face covered by the shadows of her hair, squeezing down on the metallic pole. Its bolted roots unable to keep the object in place as it was pulled from its standing point, only to be raised over her head to be thrown into the food stall. No one was to be harmed as the same principle laid with the Quincy. It was to make some ruckus to force the people to leave the area seeing that a heavy object was ripped out from its placement, and chucked into the side of a building. A loud explosion of dust erupted when the metal smashed into the wooden structure, the Humans rushing away to avoid what may be a terrorist attack. A possible bomb going off in their eyes, sending the panicked Humans away to leave the two to their own individual means of why this meeting was so.
After the first meter was thrown, a secondary would follow suit, but this time the Quincy was the target when it left her fingers.

There was just something about the way that kimchi melded with normal white rice. It had always been something that Asmoskon enjoyed devouring while he had been a child. His grandfather and father had both shared his love for the simple meal, having been the ones to present it to him. His mother had made the kimchi personally from grown cabbage when he had been small enough that his grandfather had still been among the living. He could still remember the difference between the way that his mother’s had been astronomical compared to even the delicious flavor washing over his tongue.
He could only grin to himself as he pondered over his thoughts believing for a moment that perhaps the corny belief of food made with love was simply better. He’d never know that taste again though and he’d accepted that. The chunk he could hear within his mouth was something that he didn’t get from many of his meals, normally sticking to meals that served a good portion of red meat and either tea or water. The memory of how his grandfather could simply guzzle down black tea was still enough to make goosebumps crawl across his skin. How that man could drink black tea was something Asmoskon just didn’t understand.
As he was reminiscing while eating his favorite meal he could still sense the Bount in the area. He wasn’t the greatest at sensing reiatsu, something he had picked up on early in his training and as such he had devoted more time into excelling in a different sort of detection. The scent of someone preparing for a fight. There was a time that he had nearly been suffocated by that scent while leading the troops of Xcution against various enemies in large incursions. No he could smell the scent of something that was planning to engage in combat.
Then he heard the sound of metal bending coming from behind him specifically across the street. In the time that it took for Aura to pull the parking meter from the cement prison that served as its home Asmoskon pondered whether he should activate the ability known as Unparalleled Sight. The notion of relying on such an ability though for something so simply was dismissed immediately. He wasn’t here for a fight. Activating that ability would cause his reiatsu to spike high which would definitely result in this Bount either attacking right away or fleeing which neither served him in any capacity.
So by the time that Aura ripped the meter out of the ground and raised it over her head ready to throw it at the food stand beside Asmoskon the Quincy had his right hand up at his side only at chest level to keep the chef from noticing anything strange. Aura would definitely see Asmoskon pointing down to the seat beside him though and waving his fingers towards him as his hand was turned towards her. The message was obvious. Come sit here and talk instead of causing a ruckus. Whether or not Aura actually listened though wasn’t up to Asmoskon.
If she did stop what she was doing and come over to speak with Asmoskon the Quincy would speak to the chef on her way over to him. He’d start to get right back to work. “So a Bount in Okinawa, glad to see your people are still prevalent in the world. Why you were about to ruin such a peaceful day though I’d like to know. Did I hurt someone important to you in the past?” It wouldn’t take more than a few moments after Aura got to the stand for a bowl of rice and kimchi just like his own had been to be placed down on the counter. “For you, not enough people know of its wonder.”
If Aura didn’t adhere to Asmoskon’s request to stop her intention then Asmoskon would simply continue to sit on his stool while picking up his bowl. The meter slammed into the back of the stand, thankfully missing the chef while Asmoskon placed enough good portion from his chopsticks into his mouth. The look from the eye patched young man was unamused. He watched as she grabbed the second parking meter and just when she’d pull it from the ground she’d be faced with a onyx crimson arrow nearly upon her set to strike right through the back of her hand into the meter and through her other hand pinning them all together.
That little shot though was something that Asmoskon had taught dozens of Quincy and Fullbringers alike to accomplish throughout the last few years. No one thing he had always taught them all beyond just having the skill to accomplish a good shot was the intelligence to never give an enemy the chance to think. That first arrow had crossed the street right away at the standard speed of 800 while Asmoskon had fired from his pitch black shortbow which held in his right hand while his left held his meal. It wasn’t the only arrow that he had fired.
A second arrow was fired immediately after the first yet this was the one that would be far harder to evade. This Bount was pulling at the parking meter which meant her focus wasn’t just on Asmoskon, but also her hands which meant she’d have a better chance of noticing the arrow set to hit her hands. This second arrow was positioned to pierce right through the foot closest to Asmoskon. The arrow soared far faster as well at 1600 utilizing the superiority of the short bow in terms of speed. If successful the arrow would strike through the top of her foot into the cement pinning her to the ground. "Those who attack without warning will receive no warning. Those who disrespect the lives of others will be granted none by me, state your purpose." It may sound strange yet Asmoskon was speaking in a rather lazy or uninterested manner almost like he was just fed up with something like this happening.

This was going to be a problem considering that things were just getting started, and already her own flaws were standing out. Aside from the time that she fought against Leon and Eris that one time, Aura really didn't have much of a clue as how she would fight against someone else. That fact was as obvious as a swollen thumb considering that much of her movements were more sloppy than those who knew how to move around. All Aura could do was managed with what she knew already...... And that wasn't much. But, she can at least learn more about it now. The man moved his right arm out, using what looked like a projectile based... Shit[/i Aura cursed herself in the back of her mind seeing it as a potential threat. What was a former girl standing at the other side of the street vanished, kicking up dust and dropping the meter post where it was uprooted. An entire body vanishing.
Soon a small Bunny came to be standing beneath the range of where the arrow would swoop in from the side. Dust kicking up as it sped by after her shadow swallowed her whole. Tier (-20 reiatsu} was triggered by the Bount with only that moment to transform into a much smaller physical body to evade having her hands punched through by whatever it was that the Quincy shot out. It was too quick for her eyes to catch as to what the object was, let alone to see if it was reiatsu or not. Whatever it was would have been dangerous to be struck by. More so she would EXPLOSION The ground in front of erupted with immense force, firing both debris and dirt up. In her original form it wouldn't done as much damage, but it did a bit worse given that her body was smaller now. Only standing at a height of one foot, her fuzzy body would have taken the full brunt of the explosion as it was seen in the perspective of smaller eyes, and height.
It forced her body back away from where she once stood. This one she didn't even notice it was fired. Something that she suspected originated from the man made the explosive force that threw her body outwards to the small patch of land. Her body ached already, figuring out that changing shape wasn't such a good idea considering she made herself easily able to be harmed in more than one location. To think that she already got hurt from two simple moves made by the man, and she didn't even get close to him yet. Were these what Luke was afraid of fighting? No, not yet. This couldn't have been everything. It was too simple. "Those who attack without warning will receive no warning. Those who disrespect the lives of others will be granted none by me, state your purpose." Her small mouth vibrated in annoyance. Aura had to go on the offensive.
"Ziege Dich." she muttered beneath her breath, her arms extending from the little stubs that were once bunny paws (-400). "Queen." she called out once the dust began to settle, now exposing the pair in perfect sight of each other. However, the Bounts shadow climbed in front of her before peeling itself away from the surface. Its characteristics becoming shaped, identifying itself as the summoning of Aura's fragmented spirit of being one of three. The portion of head and midriff of the body becoming Human, but that was where the only recognizable features came to an end. Two sets of arms with the first being like that of an average Human girl, with the second set, more mechanical and bone like, sprouting out from the back of her shoulder blades. These arms length completely shadowed the first set, extending outwards for a total of five feet.
Similar black metal plates are seen making up what are suppose to serve as legs, yet moving downwards to a smooth cone shape to where the heels are suppose to be. Legs that did not even touch the ground but rather hover over the surface, kicking away the dust that lingered around her ten feet away from herself and Aura. Lastly, the only thing that came to illuminate their side of the street, as the sun settled down past the horizon, was the halo ring that hung over the Dolls head. This was one of the pair of Dolls that Aura had in her arsenal, and a way to put the Quincy to the test against her own abilities. A good way to judge the race. "GO." Aura commanded before the Doll vanished from sight, tearing further into the Earth down below. No degree of reiatsu was used in its initial move. Nope. This was just the Doll moving at speed that was well past double than what the Bount could muster, with its re-emergence being at the man's side, keeping him with five foot radius of itself.
As the man entered into its effective range, an immediate burst of reiatsu would pulse outward from the Doll. A push like gesture that would force everything within a ten foot radius from itself, resembling as being struck by a braking car from full speed (-100 Repulse). The front of the building would seem as though something had pushed the structure inward, while with the park parked out by the sidewalk was shoved easily away to the center of the road. As for the ground, concrete was dug into, crumbling the material as the wave made its way towards the Human, however, the Doll wasn't the only one going on the offensive as Aura started to close the distance with a straight forward sprint towards Asmoskon with a full sprint.
Technique Description and Effects: The Bount can shapeshift into a small animal like a rodent of some kind for 5 posts. This is limited to small creatures. The most usual is bats and rats, but it can also extend to mice, rabbits, or similar. However, the transformation will always have glowing red eyes.
How to use technique: Stated above.
Drawback: Reiatsu Cost.

This was definitely a shame, Asmoskon hadn’t fought against a Bount in quite a while so it would be a good refresher yet based on what he could tell from the girl that had been holding the parking meter she wasn’t exceptional. Either way though now he felt bad that the street was going to suffer damage, perhaps he could lend the shop keeper some ryo so that he could have it repaired. Things to ponder later though as he watched the Bount girl evade his first arrow by shrinking down and shape shifting into the form of a small rabbit.
A nice trick that Asmoskon had read about yet not one that had ever been employed against him. It was suitable for the arrow that had been fired at her hands, but now he watched as the second arrow hit the cement right in front of her and sent her backwards due to the force that it carried. This was when he lost sight of the girl and had to refocus. The surrounding citizens of Okinawa were either moving away or coming right towards them as the sound of the first few exchanges weren’t enough to inflict straight fear, but enough to bring curiosity.
There were enough people around that it would only take another few moments before he wouldn’t be able to rely on his hearing to find or track this girl. Thankfully though he never encountered that problem as the Bount swiftly transformed back into her natural appearance or at least that’s what Asmoskon assumed was her natural appearance. His warning was for the hundred thousandth time ignored as the girl’s reiatsu spiked and he could tell she was about to release her Doll. “Perhaps I should just start shooting first again. No one ever listens anyway.” (Asmoskon's thoughts)
The Doll that was summoned was definitely different than most he had seen in the past. This looked far more deranged, twisted and just downright weird. He couldn’t make an assumption on what the ability of the Doll would be based on its appearance which wasn’t a good thing. It didn’t seem like he was going to be able to talk this girl down from her attack so he’d have to do what he could to keep the citizens from getting in the area. So his first move while this Doll pushed into the ground was shoot the street lights in a blur of motion.
It’d only take a second, but the already dimming light from the sun setting was now far less. Perception was going to be much harder for anyone of normal sight. The irony wasn’t lost on Asmoskon, a man with only a single eye likely had the best sight out of everyone in the entire town. He could still see fine and saw the Doll burrow through the cement and the Bount girl begin to move towards him. It was a decent enough move, although again he couldn’t make an appropriate judgement until he knew more about this Doll.
Sitting around and playing counter wasn’t his style though so it was time to go on the offense and end this little attack before any serious damage was done. Asmoskon picked up on the vibrations of the ground beneath his feet as the Doll got closer to him which told him that it wasn’t simply underground in order to protect the Bount, but instead to attack most likely from below him. Just all the more reason to not stay in the same spot. In a blur of motion again just this time not just his hand Asmoskon took a step forward. Now mere feet away from the Bount girl, Asmoskon fired another arrow from his shortbow held at his side set to pierce through her left shin. Hardly anyone ever expected an archer to close the distance and thus it was an unforeseen action to most.

Queen flanked him just as she wanted her Doll to do, using Repulse to lure him away towards a direction that she would have wanted. But frankly the direction that he chose to head towards wasn't the one that she expected. While the Doll was able to get the man to react in a way that she desired, the direction wasn't one that she thought he would take considering....well.. she didn't really consider it at all. Why rush towards someone unless? Aura thought about it upon her approach, believing that she would actually have the time. His moment of directing himself towards her cut the extra moment she needed to respond back, simply reacting with an instinctual order to her her Doll, "Queen to me!" But it was too late. The discharge from the Dolls technique would finish in time, but the moment traveling to the Master would take the exact amount of time for the new threat towards her to reach. She was screwed.
Soon, a brand new sensation would pierce through her leg. Something hot, making her lower half spasm for the moment embracing such a new feeling done onto it. Aura cried out as her left leg weakened, and dropped her body onto her right knee. It was at that moment that the Doll reappeared from in front of the store, blurring directly in front of the Quincy man. A large body that was called upon by the Bount divided the sight between the woman and the man with the Doll already casting another one of its abilities. Soon, six individual star lights would glisten over the Dolls head, each one twinkling bright. Six individual orbs of reiatsu formulating to be fired, streaming directly down from their position over the Dolls head, racing as quickly as the Dolls own speed was capable of 700 (-150 Starlight Hailstorm x2).
Each bolt of light were targeting specific areas of the mans body. Whizzing, each bolt was fired to target one limb each. One bolt would aim for each shoulder. Another pair bolting down to target the mans thighs, leaving the remaining two to aim for the mans stomach. Altogether, it was as if the stars themselves were to rain upon the Quincy man, but not alone as the darkness behind the Doll would soon envelope the scene. Aura caressed her wounded leg, though not wishing for her Doll to fight alone she did push the pain down to provide support. From her own reiatsu did fluttering of wings take shape, both being peckish and annoying in their own way. This came from the use of Swarm, turning her own reiatsu into creatures of the night. Aura flooded out from the front of her body that of a wave of Crows to drown the immediate scene in the darkness of a few dozen wings, even exerting herself a bit to have them spread across the mans line of sight. (-100 [Schwarm (lit. Swarm)], -25 for 1/5 post stay)
They only had a single order to follow, and that was simply "peck." Asmoskon was their target, locating any skin or flesh to... well..peck at with their beaks. Their read red eyes in search of lips, eyes, nose, family jewels, anything that they could do to annoy the Hell out of the man while the Dolls Starlight Hailstorm glowed from admist the shadows the birds had created. A simple distraction that was shadowing an attack. An attack that was being swarmed by a flood of Crows to blind and distract the man. Once the birds were fluttering about the Bount had to pull back a little bit to redraw the line stepping back to the shadowy surface that resided behind her thanks to the natural lighting that her Dolls halo produced. Although dim, it was suffice enough to create a light source for the Bount to make use of her other techniques.
This made her very grateful, but curious as to why the Quincy was targeting the light posts a few moments earlier. The store that he ate from had their own form of lighting, along with the neighboring store fronts. Was he doing so in order to limit how many shadows there were? Could be, seemingly now that she would have to make use of them more than ever considering her case now. Her leg was wounded, seared through by an ..arrow? Was this what the Quincies used to fight with? Aura was able to get a good look when the man charged at her, seeing an object sticking to his arm which the arrow bolt originated from. A detail that she missed before as it moved too quickly to catch. But this time around, it was her own flesh that slowed it down when it punched through her leg. It was saddening that she had to be wounded to get a better look at what caused it, and where it came from.
Aura was bleeding, but not profusely. It would be only dangerous if she continued to move it as it would open the wound further. Plus, walking on it now would certainly be very difficult to do. So, it meant that moving by herself around the new appointed battlefield would prove to be a challenge to her. She frustratingly growled. Their little exchange did give her some new information about the Quincies, and about what this man was willing to do in terms of strategy. Not only that, but she had to stay more cautious than before. No telling what he was capable of, which made it more dangerous to confront the Invisible Empire, concerning to the degree that this man could be a strong accomplice of theirs. This was going to prove to be a good test of herself, and that of their new enemies. Both Doll and Master stuck close together as they prepared themselves for what was to come next.
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Bount Technique]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [Bount]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
This technique takes the concept of Tier and applies it to the user’s reiatsu. Instead of the user transforming into an animal themselves, with this technique they are able to transform their reiatsu. By releasing a surge of reiatsu from the body, the user can form it into a large swarm of a creature of their choosing. Be it locusts, roaches, rats, bats, owls, crows, ravens, and other types of creatures. The animals formed from the user’s reiatsu must be small and will have glowing red eyes when formed. This technique can be used for escape or to simply distract an opponent. When learned, the user cannot control in which direction the swarm forms. The creatures summoned from their reiatsu simply swarm out from all over the user’s body. When proficient, the user can choose which direction in which the creatures will swarm from, whether it be the front, back, left, or right. Once mastered, the user can choose which body part that the swarm of creatures will be released from. After reaching about 15 feet from the user, the swarm of creatures will disperse into reiatsu. However, if they remain within the 15 feet of space, the creatures can remain for a maximum of 5 posts, in which the user must pay 25 extra reiatsu for each post the creatures remain. Once the user chooses an animal upon first use of this technique, they are unable to choose another. Furthermore, the creatures summoned cannot be used for direct offense. They simply act as a natural swarm of the creature summoned would, swarming whatever the user commands them to without actually inflicting any harm. For example, if a swarm of owls or crows were directed to swarm an opponent, they would only surround the individual and scare them rather than peck at them. This technique costs 100 reiatsu to use.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Insert Below]
Simply summon up reiatsu from the user’s body as if transforming and release it as a large swarm, which will take on the shape of the animal they think of. Animals can be controlled mentally or verbally but are unable to understand anything besides basic, one word commands.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
Reiatsu cost to summon the swarm of creatures. Also costs additional reiatsu to keep the creatures around. The summoned swarm doesn’t stay around long enough once released unless more reiatsu is given up. Lastly, the user is also limited by the range in which the swarm must remain before dispersing into reiatsu.
