Circumstances: Eleonora decide to test how far her powers have come since she began her journey as a Quincy and takes on a Hollow that Raphael was tracking, both parties are ware of each other for different reasons and a misunderstanding turns into a fight

It was a calm and cold night in Karakura as most people were away on holidays or comfortably staying at home, rarely you'd see a person outside with the cold and snow of the night but that made it the perfect time for certain individuals and creatures to walk around, Eleonora is one of such individuals as she has decided to fully walk the path of the Quincies and not look away from the "horrors" of the spiritual world, Hollows, Soul Reapers and of course the Vandenreich, so many enemies around and the list can only grow as there was that time a fullbringer decided all Quincies were the same and attacked her, there was also that creature from hell but ironically it's the one that help her out that time, so who knows what else might be after her.

Thinking about it Eleonora has a terrible luck when it comes to meeting people, more often than not if it is at night there will be a fight in which she's greatly outmatched only barely escaping the cold grasp of death for a set of circumstances, but that only reinforces her will on keep fighting and getting stronger so no one ever steps over her again, and the blonde has done a lot of progress on that as not only she got to learn a bit more about the story and origin of the Quincies back in German, she also found an old book that belonged to her father which detail techniques and tools that the Quincy use and adding to all that, she found a teacher that is willing to train her and take her under his wing.

With all that Eleonora walked the empty and snowy streets of Karakura with an air of pride looking for hollows to fight, she has to put her new found skills to test and as if someone granted her wish she felt the presence of a hollow not far from where she was, she move quickly towards the direction of where she felt the creature and making use of air ground the German kept the high ground to have a better angle to shoot the hollow.

The girl floated above the park as the creature appeared, it was serpentine and slithered all over the park is if it was looking for something or someone, maybe there was another person around who was unlucky to be pick by the hollow as their prey, unfortunately for the creature they wouldn't get the chance to keep their search as one singular arrow made its way from the skies above it, as it was it was falling the arrow split into multiple smaller arrows properly raining down on the creature.

Maybe it was the rush of adrenaline and the feeling of being stronger, maybe she just wanted to see the creature up close before m making it disappear, whichever the reason Eleonora decided to go to ground level and meet the hollow face to mask, the creature was twisting, writhing and howling as the arrows stick out of its body before disappearing, Eleonora couldn't help but smile seeing that at some point even the weakest of hollows gave her trouble, now she had this one at her mercy! "Mindless and twisted beast who prey on the weak, I'm glad I reach you before you got to whoever you were after, now you will disappear" With that said the girl raised her bow one more time and charge an arrow pointing at the mask of the creature.

It was a frigid January day, in Karakura Town, and Raphael was enjoying himself, for once. There was nothing really big going on, for once, and he'd been able to enjoy his day. Hell there weren't even any hollows and so he was able to just focus on what he needed to focus on: himself. He'd woken up early, taken a shower, eaten breakfast, shaved... Then talked to Hikisau and Sonzai. After so many exceedingly bad days, and some...rather questionable ones, it was nice to have one that felt like very little wrong could be done.

Hmm... With such a wonderful day, there is much training that cold be done, Raphael. You adapted your darker self, perhaps you should try to adapt to your lighter half. Raphael chucled, as he put his wallet and phone into his pockets. And you're saying that without any bias at all, aren't you Hikisaku? After a few seconds, there was a short grun, whether of disapproval or just playful dismissal, and Raphael couldn't really tell the difference between the two, not that it mattered. At the end of the day, he was stuck with the two parts of himself, and he wouldn't really have it any other way, not that he could.

With it being such a nice day, he decided to even go into work for a bit, though his task and job, this time, was simply improving on himself. His own abilities, while prodigious, were still not where he needed them, his little sojourn into Hueco Mundo had proven that much to him. He needed to finish his understanding of a certain technique that was beginning to feel like it would be necessary. Do you two know about, the uh, special thing that I learned? There was a pause and silence for a few moments. Are you meaning the technique that you learned that allows you to vastly increase your power? Yes. Raphael simply nodded at that, not wanting to really push that further. It was quite obvious that they knew of Gate, or at least one of them did.

Thus he spent the rest oof the day as he should. He read a short book at his desk, for a few minutes, and double checked a few emails that he'd recieved the day before, but hadn't yet answered. Then he headed down into the training area, preparing himself for his next trial. There was so much that he still needed to work on, so much fighting that was left to do and that he would most llikely be pulled into. There was always something. Thus it was down to the training area, that he went and then he concentrated.

Something he'd learned from observing spiritual beings is that they had an easy time of generating abilities from the reiatsu within themselves. Based on his observations this was due to the fact that they had spiritual bodies. Humans, on the other hand, were a combination of spiritual and living bodies and didn't have the advantage of drawing in reiatsu quincy did. Thus, he'd had to find a new way and had found it in a technique that...he'd rather found had three separate uses, though the final was the most potent, in his case. It, more or less, allowed him to fully unite his soul and living body, allowing him to maximize his output of reiatsu, even if he couldn't fully form it yet. That was a problem for another day, however.

Then, as his day came to a close, he went to a nearby restaurant, and sat down for a nice meal. Yet, right as the entree for his meal was put down in front of him, he heard a night shattering roar, and felt the presence of the hollow, stalking the night. Of course. Right before a good dinner. Asking for his meal to be wrapped up to go (and assuring the waiter that it wasn't him or the service, but that he had work that needed done) Raphael packed up and headed out.

He was walking through a park, a few blocks away, when he felt it, trying to sneak up on him. While he hadn't looked to see what, specifically, it looked like, he new the main premise: Hollow sneaking up on him to eat him. It was so...weak, though and he almost wanted to laugh but, in the end, he couldn't bring himself to do so. If it tried, it would find much more than it bargained for, though he could also feel something else coming...or, perhaps, someone. A quincy? Perhaps so... He also considered... And then it was almost over. While the hollow wasn't near him, this quincy had effectively destroyed the creature, almost, and he turned around to watch the rest of the show. Arrows rained down from above, and the creature was near dead. With a bit of a spring to his step he walked, leisurely, towards the combat, still keeping his real strength more or less, suppressed and hidden.

Eleonora took a deep breath and then release the string of her bow shooting the arrow and piercing the hollow's mask, the creature twisted and writhe one more time as it started to disappear, the blonde had a pretty satisfactory smmirk on her face as the serpent was gone and barely put up a fight, it brought her to her first real fight with a rampaging hollow where no matter how hard she tried that creature barely felt her arrows and consumed innocents, but now things were different, now her arrows are stronger, can guide them or split them and that's not even touching her new tricks in the forms of properties, she needed to keep testing her strength and new found powers so maybe she could get the attention of another one.

"Why not? Let us have some fun tonight" She smirked before raising her bow and aiming at the sky releasing one arrow just to act as a beacon of sorts, maybe she's biting more than what she can chew and it would definitely not be the first time it happens, but who can blame her? After so much time running away and being weak she can finally fight back and it feels amazing.

Besides it would be a great story to tell to her Sensei, show that she can take care of herself and has only improve since their meeting, but more importantly prove herself that she can carry her own weight, that she is not a burden and that her choice of walking this path was the right one, this night was more of a battle to change her own mindset about herself so right now she welcome any challenge with open arms and a smirk on her face.

Raphael, admittedly, was surprised by the fact that so many arrows had come crashing into the hollow that he'd been hunting him. Nor was he expecting the blast of quincy reiatsu that crashed into him, as the hollow was destroyed. Hmm... That one has skill, a bit of power, but mostly skill, at the moment. She needs to be careful, however; her movements are sloppy, she uses more energy than she needs just attacking... Were she to do that in a battle with a strong hollow then... Raphael didn't need to ask, or inquire as to what he was suggesting. When it came to training, to mastery of movement, Rend was an incredibly harsh taskmaster, judging everything that Raphael did and practically recording it. He wondered, for a moment, if the zanpakuto spirits of shinigami did the same and then, for a moment, felt bad for all of them, if so. You do realize that I can hear your thoughts, yes? I might be a harsh taskmaster, but it has helped you improve.

Raphael chuckled, for a moment. I know, I know. Still sometimes it's funny too-- His thoughts were interrupted as an arrow was loosed high into the sky. A beacon? A flare?! Had this quincy lost their mind?! Raphael's fists tightened, though he maintained the suppression of his energy. How incredibly irresponsible... Sonzai suddenly decided to cut in and add his own two cents, to the situation. I think that I like this quincy, whoever they are. Raphael maintained his frown, though. He was reminded far too much of when he was reckless with his abilities, which he oftentimes still was. He was trying to improve, though, and deserved a little credit for that, at least. It's a challenge. An open invitation for anything or anyone, to come and fight them. A gamble, especially for a town such as Karakura.

That was bad. The last thing that he wanted, and the last thing that the town needed, was another batch of hollows showing up, right now. He still wasn't finished with completing the rebirth of his fullbring, even his second fullbring was inaccessible. Unlike normal, he couldn't hear anything from it. He'd still been able to hear it when his primary fullbring had been broken, even when he'd first been dealing with the after-effects of it. He held the small pin, for a moment, trying to feel something, find something within it. For a moment there was a spark, a strange feeling, that had never come from it before, but then it was gone. He shoved it back into his pocket annoyed.

You should go and check on that. The fact that they're firing something like that in a place like this, concerns me. He nodded, concentrating on the energy's direction and concentration and then gave a single direction of will. There was a burst of energy as he flew in the direction that the arrow'd come from. He stopped suddenly, looking at a young woman holding a quincy bow. He had to resist the urge to shout at her, or to give the disapproving dad stare, no matter how much he wanted to, right now.

"Uhm... Evening, there. I'm, uh, I'm going to assume that you killed the hollow that I was hunting." He paused for a few seconds, watching and studying her. Her spiritual abilities didn't seem too threatening, or exceptional, at least for the moment, though he could tell that she still had a lot of room to grow, just like he himself did. "Not to be rude, or that guy, but how...new to this whole thing, are you? I just don't want you biting off more than you can chew and get in real trouble, ya know?"

Eleonora took deep breaths while she waited, mentally preparing herself to whatever that could show up as she knows that she might be a bit over her head right now, but at the same time if one doesn't test their limits they won't know how much they need to improve, essentially she's putting herself on the same situation that made her take her training and walk this path seriously on the first place, that said it didn't take long for someone to show up and of course she was expecting a Hollow so the man arriving was surprising maybe he was the one the Hollow was chasing?

"Sorry if I got to it first, I was around and had the range, I couldn't help myself taking care of the beast" She shrugged, all things considered the man didn't seem to care that much that she took care of the Hollow. "Does it matter how new I am? The creature is gone, if another shows up it's another arrow to the mask, the night is just starting and I have to test what I can do so what's the problem with one or two more mindless beast around?" It didn't really bother her how Raph was talking, anyone with a working pair of eyes and/or energy sensory could tell she was still a rookie, but at the same time she doesn't like hearing a stranger being "concerned" for her.

"Look if you want to show some fake concern for someone you don't know, go ahead" She shrugged, at this point Raph could be the nicest guy on the world and the blonde would ignore him too, it's hard to trust someone you don't know even if said person is spiritually aware like you, all of Leo's prior experiences have shown her that unless it's another Quincy (and maybe that weird hell creature) you shouldn't trust they won't try to stab you on the back. "So let's cut the chase, if you have a problem with a Quincy just say it, I'm sure we'll find a way to fix it" Yeah, she was not helping her case either but it wouldn't be the first time she picks a battle without knowing what the other person is capable of, and if she survive the encounter with a 9'9 Shinigami, a regular size person shouldn't be much of a struggle, right?

Oh my, well listen to this one... She reminds me a good bit of you, Raphael. Doesn't want to listen, thinks she's stronger than she actually is... Raphael resisted the urge to roll his eyes externally, despite how absolutely hard that was. Again, Rend's judgement of his abilities was spot on, as it ever was. He wondered, sometimes, if Rend would ever talk to him kindly again, but had to admit this this part of his spirit spoke to him fairly kindly, already. Existence needed to tune himself, just a bit, but who was Raph to judge? Yeah, well, ya know, we're not all perfect, Hikisaku, though I'm sure you'd love it if I were.

"Whoa. Makin' a lot of assumptions there. I don't really care that you got it first, long as it's taken care of before someone gets hurt, yeah? Two. Yeah, it fucking matters how new you are. What if I was a normal guy and you'd accidentally hit me with an arrow? Do you understand how dangerous something like that can be for a regular person?" Raphael gave her a flat, rather unamused, look. He understood the whole desire to use her powers, to test out what she could really do, but was the middle of a dense population center REALLY the best testing ground?

"...Fake concern?! Fake concern???" He took a deep breath, steadying himself. "I don't have a damn problem with quincy. I was raised by quincies. What I have a problem with is when people are being reckless with hunting hollows. The energy you released? Not a problem. You firing an arrow up into the air to issue a challenge to whatever might feel it or see it? Are you out of your damn mind?!" He looked at her, still holding himself back. People's lives could be constantly at stake and here she was playing around with her power.

" Look, I'm not gonna be an ass about this, just please be really careful when using things like firing a random arrow into the air." He exhaled, watching her. he would gauge his next response based on hers.

Eleonora raise an eyebrow as it seem that for a second the man was talking to himself, that aside she's starting to think that maybe she jump to conclussions as if this person was going after her he would've attacked by now, the blonde took a deep breath and listen to him one more time. "Well first you're not a normal guy considering you mention being hunting that hollow, second, this park is pretty much empty I decided to rain arrows on the thing because I saw that, and if it was one singular arrow I can guide them, trust me I've been on a bad situation once when I was barely able to shoot an arrow and a lot of people suffer for my weakness" She took another deep breath as she remember her first fight with a hollow and how things could've been different if only another more capable person was around to help her. "I made mistakes before but I am not the same weak girl I once was" Despite looking and sounding overconfident reality is that Leo still sees herself as weak and this is her own way of dealing with it, bury it all up and hope it never resurface.

The german would flinch seeing that her comment about "fake concern" made Raphael raise his voice, and that's the moment it hit her that he's been genuine and she's on the wrong and yet... "You know what? Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, who's to say? Certainly not you" After that Eleonora would close her eyes and hold the bridge of her nose trying to calm herself. "Look, sorry, I have a bad temperament and I'm always on high alert since outside a very select few, every single person I've met so far has try to attack me, hollows, fullbringers, soul reapers and of course been chased by the Vandenreich pretty much since I have memory, so yeah I thought you were just "playing nice" when it's clear you actually mean it, sorry for also shooting that stupid arrow, I'm just trying to see how far I can push myself and this is the only way I know how to do it" it's easier to meassure one's strength when neither you nor your opponent hold back and Hollows rarely hold back. "It's not the first time I bite more than what I can chew either so you can save the lecture.

With all that said the blonde would just look up and sigh, if something was going to show up it would've done it already so it's just the two of them and even after sort of clarifying a bit the misunderstanding, the tension was still palpable and Eleonora never hide her bow even if it seem that Raphael was trustworthy she was still cautious. Leo would lower her gaze and stare at Raph trying to see what would his next move be and if he tries to take a step closer she would raise her bow, not to attack or anything as she didn't even charge an arrow, but to let him know she wants some space between them and that she still had her guard up.
