Technique Name: Gedankenklau (lit. ‘Thought Theft’)
Technique Class: 4 - 40 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bounts.
Technique Element: Body.
Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: A rather insidious technique designed for Bount with an affinity toward indirect combat, Gedankenklau allows a Bount (or their Doll) to take advantage of an ‘indirect attack’. Any type of attack that leaves a victim remotely the same, applies a debilitating condition, and/or simply does little to no damage is applicable here. This includes things like minuscule attacks designed to apply a poison, altering the body of someone else while keeping damage minimal, or the like.
Upon inflicting any number of these attacks, Gedankenklau can be activated. Upon paying the cost as part of that attack, the user’s reiatsu will be embedded into the target. This reiatsu remains while that individual is inflicted with said debilitating condition, and can be called upon by the user at any point, by spending 50 reiatsu. Once primed for this cost, the Bount causes the infected individual’s body to immediately begin to turn against them, striking back against them as though their body had turned on them. While this technique is Mastered, even if this wouldn’t normally be possible, either due to the victim’s condition or the user’s affliction preventing them from being able to damage themselves, self-damage will still occur, making this technique a truly terrifying option.
How to Use: Imbue an already underhanded attack with reiatsu.
Drawbacks: This technique draws from the Bount’s reiatsu pool, rather than the Doll’s if used in conjunction with a Doll. Each limb must be infected separately. While purging the preexisting condition works, this technique can also be purged on its own, requiring 200 Reiatsu from the victim to do so. In doing so, they’ll need to be still for a brief moment, potentially opening them up to attack. Lasts for five posts, or until the initial condition is removed.

Technique Name: Rand der Nacht (lit. ‘Edge of Night’)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bount.
Technique Element: Shadow.
Technique Cost: 300 Reiatsu to create, & 100 Reiatsu/post to maintain.
Description: Much as the name of this technique implies, Rand der Nacht allows the user to manifest a weapon pseudo-solid shadow. Generating from their hand, before stretching out into a shape that either compliments any Weapon Skill they have, or taking a specified shape chosen upon taking the technique, this weapon will always take this form. This shadow weapon possesses a durability equal to 2x the users Reiatsu Strength. If a projectile weapon is created, projectiles fired cost 50 Reiatsu per, and fly at 800 Speed. Mastery allows for the creation of two identical weapons for one cast of the technique, reduces the cost of these projectiles down to 25 Reiatsu per, and allows for the creation of one more type of weapon, chosen upon attaining Mastery.
Being a predatory weapon of choice for Bounts that wish to hunt stronger prey, Rand der Nacht comes with a rather nasty effect to those that are struck. Upon contact, those hit with this shadowy weapon will find that a very minuscule amount of damage is dealt to them. What would normally be huge slashes are no more than small nicks. Deep bullet holes are instead bruises that barely register. Those with more than one Rank in Pain Tolerance won’t even register they were struck. Instead, each strike from this weapon will drop the target’s Speed and Instinct by 5%, capping at 25%/50%/75%, depending on the stage of Mastery this user has this technique at, as shadows wrap around and bind the target, slowing their movements and reactive capabilities.
How to Use: Manifest a weapon of choice.
Drawbacks: While certainly potent, Rand der Nacht has its drawbacks. For one, this technique requires quite an amount of focus, limiting the user’s capability to summon their Dolls; no more than two dolls can be manifested at any given time while this technique is active. The statistical debilitations from this technique last for five posts before they’re automatically cleansed. Every subsequent attack with Rand der Nacht will reset this timer. Someone can immediately end the effects of this technique on them by taking a second to rip the shadows from their body at no cost, but doing so without being in a safe location can immediately put them in harm’s way.

Technique Name: Kondensieren (lit. ‘Condense’)
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bount.
Technique Element: Varies.
Technique Cost: 200 Reiatsu/post.
Description: A technique predominantly utilized in conjunction with excessively destructive dolls, Kondensieren is capable of limiting the amount of carnage and chaos caused by one of the Bount’s summons. Upon activation of this technique, a wreath of destructive force manifests around the user’s upper neck and swirls around their arms, coating them in what looks to be a windstream. Upon touching a manifestation created from the powers of their dolls, Kondensieren will ‘suck’ that manifestation up, significantly limiting its size but in turn granting that firepower to the user.
This means that massive explosions, elemental creations, or other effects that are typically synonymous with mass destruction can be condensed down into a small wreath around the user, allowing them to weaponize those effects for themselves, at full efficiency. A doll that can cause a large-scale earthquake might result in the user applying seismic-force blows to those they strike physically, whereas a doll that creates atomic bombs will allow the user to create localized explosions against those struck, albeit much more limited in size. Similarly, this technique provides a level of defense for the user with a durability equaling 3x the users Reiatsu Strength, requiring those who look to strike beneath the user to destroy or bypass the wreath first.
The name of the game here is minimizing calamity, after all. Mastery reduces the per-post cost to 100/post.
How to Use: Create the wreath and absorb effects.
Drawbacks: This technique does not work on any dolls aside from the user’s own. This doesn’t transfer the mechanical effects of the doll’s abilities to the wreath, rather just the raw potency of the doll’s creations. While this does subject those struck to the full, raw power of the doll, it will utilize the user’s Reiatsu Strength for clashing purposes. Despite possessing a doll’s effects, this technique clashes at Class 3, or the Doll’s Class; whichever is lower. Having this much raw destructive force centered on the user’s location is exceedingly taxing, resulting in massive self-damage around the user’s neck and arms after two posts have passed, increased by two for each rank in Strength of Will the user possesses. Upon deactivation of this technique, any condensed manifestations disappear along with the technique. When deactivated, the user must wait three posts before reactivating this technique.

Technique Name: Schwächungsbolzen (lit. ‘Weakening Bolt’)
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bount.
Technique Element: Body | Darkness.
Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: Basic in nature at first, this technique allows the user to hurl a deep purple projectile, not unlike a lance and crackling with black lightning. Playing on the Bount’s normal capabilities of stealing energy from those they make their prey, Schwächungsbolzen is no different. Those who find themselves hit with this technique will realize very quickly that the energy and durability they once had is being sapped from their body. For two posts, they’ll notice their natural defenses are much more limited than before, preventing them from being able to utilize their Flex Defenses.
With Proficiency, they’ll tire notably quicker than normal and are highly susceptible to drowning, asphyxiation, and other effects. Those with type-based Stamina will burn an additional post of Stamina while under this effect. Finally at Mastered, even just standing up will be harder than normal, requiring 25 more Strength each time they’re struck with this technique, for the remainder of the thread.
How to Use: Conjure forth a bolt of energy, and sling it at a target.
Drawbacks: This technique travels at 400 Speed. Additional Reiatsu can be poured into the technique, however, increasing its Speed by 1 point for every 2 extra Reiatsu spent, after the initial cost. The speed boost caps at 3x the users Reiatsu Strength. Requires continuous application in order to make the most of the technique.

Technique Name: Feuer Verstärken (lit. ‘Intensifying Fire’)
Technique Class: 4 - 40 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bount.
Technique Element: Fire.
Technique Cost: 75 Reiatsu.
Description: An interesting technique for a Bount to be utilizing, Feuer Verstärken conjures a bolt of intense fire, to be hurled toward a target at 800 Speed. On its own, it’s nothing special, applying third-degree burns when struck. This technique shines, however, when coming in contact with water or ice. With ice, this technique’s damage is increased by 50%, as that ice is immediately melted. Those with frostbite, encased in ice, or similar debilitations will suffer from serious freezer-burn-like effects from this as well when they’re struck. When striking water, this technique’s damage is increased by 100%, as that water is immediately evaporated, and turned into scalding-hot steam. This includes waterlogged clothes, general submersion, and more. Steam burns are immediately fourth degree in intensity, leaving an extreme amount of damage to be dealt.
How to Use: Hurl a bolt of fire.
Drawbacks: Being an intense amount of heat, this technique is dangerous for Bounts; including the user. Through contact with this technique - either utilization or being struck - the user is treated as coming in contact with sunlight. This can be resisted, providing them a number of “safe” uses of this technique equal to double their Ranks in Heat Tolerance and Strength of Will, but upon exceeding that number, damage will be swift and painful.

Technique Name: Platzen (lit. ‘Burst’)
Technique Class: 6 - 15 TTP.
Technique Type: Bount Reiatsu.
Usable By: Bount.
Technique Element: Varies.
Technique Cost: 100 Reiatsu.
Description: A custom stepping technique for Bounts with elemental dolls, Platzen allows for an explosive burst from the Bount’s feet upon making a step. This technique propels them at 10x their Speed, similar to a Shinigami’s Shunpō. Upon use, however, a ten-foot area around them will immediately be attacked with an element from their Dolls’ powers. Only one element can be utilized at a time, and these apply basic effects; fire burns, ice will frostbite and freeze, darkness/shadow will make a shadow, et cetera. Proficiency allows the user to either suppress the elemental effects, granting them a quiet stepping technique, or suppress the stepping technique, allowing them to explode outward with elemental damage just by paying the reiatsu cost. Mastery increases the Speed of the step to 12x, and the range of the elemental attack to twenty-feet in all directions.
How to Use: Charge reiatsu into the feet, and jet around.
Drawbacks: Expensive for a 10x stepping technique, until Mastered. Regardless of which version is utilized, this technique always counts against the user’s stepping techniques per post.
