Location: Human world - Some jungle somewhere

Difficulty Level: We are going to consider this a Medium Adventure due to the circumstances in the special conditions

Setting: NDE

Plotline: The Kawada Family has sought out and hired some mercenaries / fellow shinigami to not only complete a hunt of a strange creature they have been told of that might have some unique properties about it, but to test a special sigil.. The effects of which are not disclosed before accepting the contract only assurances are made that it is not dangerous, the sigil that is.. the Monster on the other hand is stated to be fairly dangerous and that there will be a group hunting it down.

Estimated Enemy Strength: The Average Creature in this adventure will be Class 6 With the final Boss being considered class 5. However The majority of the creatures will have minimum SP, only the Final boss will have a few extra SP under its belt.

Estimated Time Until Completion: I am hoping for between 4 and 5, but depending on total participants there might be more out of necessity.

Starts: The moment I have a full roster of between 5-8 Participants! I will Run 2 of these side by side if I get more interest than that with as evenly split groups as possible!

Special Conditions: All participants will be treated as if they were of a class to unlock their first Release! For this thread their first stage of release will be allowed to them. Shikai for Shinigami, Their first doll for bount. For Those races that have a little bit of a ifferent style of release, Nakkabaki Get their primera Etapa but no other release. Mod souls get up to level 3, Rogues can use up to the class 5 form of their bakkoto, Fullbringers may use their main fullbring and its first level. Quincy may use their first two bow properties, Beast clans get their first Yaseishin ability.

Analyzing {1} You're highly observant and have an easier time reading others, events, history, circumstance, and certain aspects of combat.

Memory {1} This is how well your character can remember things. They can recall events in their lives or bits of information they have amassed across their lifetime, but they do so more quickly and accurately. Higher points in this Skill allow you to recover faster from abilities that tamper with the memory and mind. At 1, you're considered slightly above average.

Psychological Warfare {1} This is how well you can demoralize your opponent and their forces using psychological tactics or how well you can drive someone insane. Higher ranks in this skill allows more effective demoralization of enemy forces and more provocative mental disorders. At 1, you're able to convince the opponent that your force is more powerful and can think of ways to confuse targets. At 2, you're able to convince the opponent that they do not stand a chance against you in a fight, despite spiritual pressure indicating otherwise and may cause them to flee. Your misinformation is more convincing and you can condition someone into thinking that their mind is slipping. At 3, you can bear down on the opponent with psychological pressure alone, causing them to flee and further demoralize their forces. You're misinformation is very convincing. Learning {1} You are quick to figure out problems, such as how to solve puzzles and tricks. You also typically know more about which spells do what and which abilities belong to certain races. A 1 means you're slightly above average.

Illusion Resist {1} You can identify illusions and make guesstimations about what reality is.

Weapons (Jian) {1} You can use them adequately, as if you've been training for a year or so.

Stealth {1} - You are good at being stealthy, escaping, disappearing, and remaining unnoticed so long as you are not Released or charging Reiatsu. A 1 means you're quiet and can sneak around well.


Battle Analysis - {1} This is used to analyze combat specifics. When someone has this Skill, they can quickly evaluate what is happening and respond accordingly. This includes gauging what kind of technique was used and how to best avoid it logically. A 1 means you're standard.


War Strategy {1} Support Types would benefit the most from this Skill. It is a super enhanced version of Battle Analysis, and it allows the user to figure out the best course of action simply from vague clues. Despite being more powerful than Battle Analysis, it can only be used from an objective, standstill point of view. It cannot be used in the middle of combat, so you can't be fighting if you wish to use it.
Pain Tolerance {1} This is how well you tolerate pain. It only applies to physical pain, not emotional. A 1 means you can tolerate it enough to keep fighting despite minor wounds like cuts or second degree burns.


Bleed Tolerance {1} You can fight despite heavy bleeding. You are able to stay in combat longer with less dizziness and continued sharpness regardless of profuse bleeding. A 1 means you can withstand bleeding from minor scrapes and deep cuts.


Charisma/Leadership {1}- You are good at leading and getting people to like you by using your boundless energy. You can inspire others and gain their trust. The more points you have, the wider a range of people you can affect. A 4 means you can even convince evil people or those of other factions to join you without much of an issue.


Interrogation {1} You are able to interrogate people. A 1 means you can usually get enough information to make educated guesses.

Battle Focus {1} This allows the user to hone in on their enemy for advanced focusing. In a chaotic situation, those with this Skill can still recognize their enemy, actions they take, and how to combat them. Little distractions do not confuse the user. A 1 means you can resist small distractions and remain focused. A 2 means you can focus on every aspect of your enemy, such as steps and breathing. A 3 means you can find your enemies through illusions, invisibility, cloaking, and anything similar. A 4 means you are immune to weaker illusions so long as you remain focused on your enemy.

Damage Recovery {1} - You will be able to recover from pain, wounds, and damage more easily. You heal faster and regain composure more quickly, and your overall resilience is higher. A 1 means you can recover from minor damages faster. A 2 means you can recover from mild damage, such as gashes and stab wounds, more quickly. A 3 means you can heal from deep cuts and gashes more quickly and recover from minor bodily trauma. A 4 means you can recover from extreme damages (not including limb loss) quickly and push through the pain.

Introduction / Assembly

Arantima had sent out Attendants with message boxes and a Small Stipend of 1000 Ryo Wrapped in paper with a Wax seal of The House Kawada emblazoned on the front. The text of the message reads as below.

"First of all, if you are receiving this message it is with gratitude. This Excursion and your fees for it are being funded by the Noble house Kawada of the Rukongai. When you arrive at the Place you were told of when you inquired about this job you will be met with a group of people from various walks of life and various degrees of alignment with differing factions. It is The House Kawada's interest that hopefully some of you may be called upon in the future to work as a Substitute shinigami. For the time being This is not a Shinigami expedition it is a Noble house endevour and therefore to any Shinigami who have taken the offer you are not to attempt to engage any member of the expedition or you will answer directly to central 46 and not your squad. To the rest of you, any disputes will be differed until completion of the Job or you will answer to myself personally."

Arantima Is standing in a small Clearing of the jungle that is most definitly not natural, having had cleared it out either himself or with the assistance of a few attendants. There is a Plain table with a Gold and Red table cloth with the House kawada Sigil emblazoned on the center, surrounded by pitchers filled with water and an assortment of various snacks and cups. He is standing with his back to the direction that the group would arrive from and was obviously taking a long draw from a simple clay cup that he was holding before he returned his gaze to the Jungle ahead. When he heard the first of the mercenaries that were coming along for the trek he nodded to each of them as they arrived.

"Welcome one and all to the staging ground for my little experiment. You all know that you are going to be doing some monster hunting, and do not fear they truly are monsters. Some sort of Spiritually aware reptiles that have been feeding on hollows and growing into more than a small problem for the local wildlife. They are however volatile so the seireitei itself doesnt seem to see them as a threat to the souls cycle and so they deem them a non threat. this leaves Me and the kawada in a unique position as they are legal to hunt becuase they are threatening so long as we pay for and handle the situation under our own Ryo."

I noticed Inozen Just as I was writing up this reply and will be taking him along with us as well. But I will have all of you know there is a strict Restriction of No PVP interactions! Any Aggressive (Doesnt mean you cant be snippy or callous or refuse to save someone in danger. Just no overt attacking each other.) actions taken against your fellow adventurer's will be met with Arantima Intervening in his released state. If you have any issues with that rule Feel free to let me know on discord and I will remove your name from the roster with no hard feelings. There are a TON of differing factions here but we are all here to do something other than fighting each other.


Other than that, feel free to set upon a posting order! Once the post order has been settled I will post again and grant those of you that need it access to your release for the duration of the adventure!

[Akio Naito]

Akio quietly took a place at the table, not touching any of the food offered. He'd neglected to dress for the jungle environment, instead turning up with his usual ash-colored slacks, dress-shirt and waistcoat, though he'd added new outdoor boots and an equally drab hooded jacket as concessions to the less urban environment. Signature scorched bangle barely visible on his arm, just past the wrist between the two layers of sleeves. "Introductions?" He said it like a question, but then continued on regardless. "You can call me Naito, I'm probably the weakest person here by far." A commonplace surname, and an attempt at lowering expectations before anyone mistook him for anything he wasn't. "In terms of spiritual ability, consider me a below-average mystic. All I have is an affinity towards the planet's natural reishi flows, what you would call 'Dragon Streams' or 'Reimyaku'." He decided it was better to leave it at that.

He definitely hadn't thought this through as much as he should have. Honestly, the fake quincy had only wanted two things out of the expedition; The first of those was a non-hostile connection with this strange "house Kawada", with every intent that he'd use the as a way to avoid any further random attacks by violent gods later on. The second was to advance his research into the world's reishi flows both underground and above, as he'd been expecting the jungle to be even more dense with reishi than Karakura had been, possibly even of a different composition than he was used to. But he was still there, still confident he'd make it through relatively unscathed, and even hoped to be somewhat useful through his capacity as a spellcaster.

[ChaosMystic]

Inozen's age was deceptive in the afterlife. Having lived a total of 92 years, he appeared to be a young man in his prime.  He was of mocha skin, had dark brown eyes, and a peculiar zanpaktou attached to his hip. To the keen observer, they would notice that his style of zanpaktou was not engineered by the zanpaktou blacksmiths, but that his had a different origin. Someone might also notice that he was wearing combat boots, equipment he thought would be vital for going into the jungle. 

As he arrived to the clearing in the jungle, he looked around in awe. He could see that the shrub and trees had been cleared out. He imagined that it was also done quickly, perhaps with kido. He listened intently to Arantima Kawada's words, having earned Inozen's full attention.

The information that he provided was clear; the great noble Kawada house would be allowed to hunt the targeted monster as long as the excursions were funded by his house. That took away Inozen's primary purpose of volunteering and his role as liason for any possible government funding became irrelevant. He could have walked away then and there, but he decided to keep listening.

Arantima promised a gift of power. Somehow, it was incentive enough to stick around for the excursion...that and gaining experience in the field. As a member of the reserved forces, an excursion into the jungle could make him stand out. He stepped up to the table and observed the red and golden Kawada family sigil adorned with various snacks, cups, and liters as garnishment. He took a cup, filled it with water, and began to drink. He wasn't sure what the forecast was, but he knew that he needed to stay hydrated. 

[Akita Himura]

"Hey." A quiet, somewhat deep, but unmistakably feminine voice preceeded the young woman steeping up to the table. "Uh, I mean, hi there. Hello. Himura, Akita. At your service."

The somewhat awkward creature that went with the voice has rich, olive, tanned skin and lustry black hair. Straight as that hair was it had been pulled up off of her neck and arranged carefully into a pair of space buns ties off with orange string. The uniform she wore was unmistakably similar to that of a Shinigami but it was a sleeveless modified, very much like what the Omnitsukido would assign to its agents. In this case, however, the young woman wore it simply for comfort in the jungle rather than any special reflection of her talents. The sleeveless uniform reveals a carefully cut physique, the product of what is probably a tremendous amount of time in the gym. But there is an...air of exhaustion about the woman. Not quite fragility, but certainly a degree of frailty in spite of the great care she takes of her body.

Around her waist was a simple, thin, white obi through which was threaded her Zanpakuto; a lacquered black sheath stamped with the twisting gold outline of a cherry tree. Unlike the others assembled, she'd gone with more traditional footgear of white tabi and wood sandals. All in all, her carefully considered appearance was perhaps a bit out of line for what was about to be asked of them, but it also wasn't ridiculous nor was it inappropriate for a Shinigami to wear. A tasteful balance of tradition and personality.

Akita stepped up to the table and took a glass between her hands, holding it loosely between the fingers of both hands. Although the drink was already cold, condensation began to form on its surface she picked it up and the glass rapidly lost temperature. "I'm looking forward to hunting with all of you. Many hands are sure to make for light work."

[Yuki & Yui Tsumugi]

As she listened carefully to Arantima's words, and glanced down toward toward the letter for the thousandth time, Yui let out a soft yawn. Seems she'd been right on time to arrive. Walking over toward the center table, and slowly pulling out a chair for herself, Yui did everything in her power in order to make sure that there was as little noise as possible. Last thing she wanted was to alert any unnecessary attention to herself, what with someone as important as the person that had hired them all currently speaking. She wanted to make sure she gave him the respect that he deserved. She didn't quite sit down yet, however.

Mentions of spiritually-aware reptiles and house Kawada worked to simultaneously drive the girl's interest and concern. While risking her life wasn't something she was normally comfortable with, there were quite a number of people here! Er, at least, there were supposed to be. It didn't seem that everyone had arrived yet; Ailene had yet to even arrive. She wasn't going to worry about it, though; the new faces were bringing about more than enough worry than she really had enough to give out. As such, the girl began to snap her fingers from underneath the table, seemingly out of impulse.

"Introductions?"

Her attention was immediately taken by the new individual speaking; Naito, as he said his name was. Listening to his words, and making a mental note of what he'd said, she made sure to remember what she could. She didn't quite know when something like that information was going to come in handy, and if nothing else? It was going to help her potentially make a new friend over the course of this mission. She wanted to make sure to be as friendly as possible, all things considered; making allies was was her top priority.

As Naito's thoughts finished, it seemed that someone else was also looking to speak up. Once again turning her attention toward this new individual, Yui listened intently. "Uh, I mean, hi there. Hello. Himura, Akita. At your service." As she turned her head, it would've been a bit of a false statement to say that Yui was taken aback by the Shihakkusho. While sure, Arantima had been wearing one, it hadn't registered with her that she'd be working with other Shinigami. The thought frightened her.

In regards to her own outfit, Yui hadn't been wearing anything out of the ordinary; for her, at least. Deciding to try something a bit new, the girl came to the meeting in a black graphic tee, displaying some multicolored obscure symbol from a series she liked, tucked neatly into a blue-to-pink ombre pleated skirt, resting at about her knees. Completing the outfit with a pair of simple thigh-highs and a pair of black Mary Janes, Yui really sought to play up that pastel goth aesthetic today.

Gently waving her hand, Yui felt it was time to introduce herself as well. "U-um," she stammered, "I'm Yui Tsumugi. It's a pleasure to meet all of you!" Giving as soft a smile as she could given her rising nerves, Yui simply left her introduction at that, snapping her fingers like a madwoman afterward. More than anything else, she remained ever fearful of being recognized. While she didn't consider it all too likely, all things considered, it was still a non-zero chance.
