Technique Name: Palacito
Class: 4-3
Technique Type: Garganta Technique
Usable By: Hollows
Technique Element: Space
Technique Description and Effects:
Cavidad's more elegant older brother, this is a Garganta that leads to a specific, persistent somewhere amidst nowhere. The user creates a tear in spacetime, which takes them to their own, unique, personalized pocket in the void. The first time a character learns this technique, they may customize its interior appearance and determine which basic amenities it may have, ranging from its ambient temperature to the presence or absence of weather, water features, and energy sources. At the same time, the user determines the layout of their Palacito; a Class 4 Palacito consists of up to 3 large rooms with 3 corridors, and a Class 3 Palacito consists of up to 5 of each. Each room may have different environmental amenities inside it.
Stepping into their Palacito, the user excises their self and up to five non-hostile targets from the physical reality they would normally be a part of. While within this pocket, the characters may interact with one another normally. The Palacito is difficult to perceive from the outside, requiring at least 150 Energy Sensory for a Class 4 Palacito, and 200 Energy Sensory for a Class 3 Palacito to detect it. The user is able to create an exit point from the Palacito within as many feet from their location as their Reiatsu Strength, giving them more exit options than entry ones, such as for escape or more clever uses.
How to use technique (How is it activated?):
The Palacito opens at the user's will, assisted by the dispersal of reiatsu into space.
Technique Drawbacks
While inside the Palacito, the user is fundamentally disconnected from reality, and cannot interact with the space around them except by spending reiatsu. They may move the location of the Palacito only with stepping techniques. By knowing where the Palacito is and being able to detect it, any character may move into the space created by spending 150 reiatsu as a part of a movement. A character may resist being pulled into the Palacito by having a greater Reiatsu Strength than the user.
