Of all the things that could've piqued her interest regarding the human world, this was absolutely one of the most important. Well, in her eyes, at least. Reading over the briefing she'd been given by one of the members of her little intelligence-gathering task force, Priscilla couldn't help but smile at the situation at hand. She'd finally been given the opportunity to get back out into the field once more! Lord, it certainly beat the mountains of paperwork she was stuck filling out for the last few weeks. She'd needed action, and hopefully this was going to be it! Taking the time to prep for the occasion, Priscilla made sure that she'd had everything on her that she might've needed. Going through her equipment one last time, she neatly tucked everything away in her uniform where she needed to. Ginto? Check. Schneides? Check. That fancy little handgun she'd bought from the Human World? Check.
After checking over her gear, not much else needed to be done from there. She'd be able to reasonably leave from there, and that was exactly what she did. Naturally growing accustomed to leaving the Silbern where she needed to, Priscilla arrived in Karakura town relatively unscathed, though a bit offset by the mid-afternoon sun that seemed to rain down from above. Putting a hand above her eyes to help block the light, Priscilla took a few moments for her eyes to adjust, as she looked around. She'd need to make her way to Central Karakura, and she was in one of the southern districts. She'd have a bit of walking to do. Smiling, she decided to make the most out of her time where she could.
While taking the time to walk around Karakura, Priscilla decided to take the long way through the shopping districts in order to scope out if anything nice had gone on sale, if anything new had been put on shelves, et cetera. Every now and then she'd toss a small sheet of paper into a store from one of the many she kept on her, and have it position somewhere high up. Nothing crazy, but enough to get a good view of the area. If she didn't like what she saw, she simply willed the sheet back to her, and saved it for later use. She didn't have too much on her, only about 300 or so sheets of origami paper she kept in her breast pocket, but it was enough for the time being. If need be, she could always make more.
After a short while, she'd stumbled upon the Asylum in question. Almost immediately, Priscilla picked up on a rather notable energy signature radiating not in one particular spot, but throughout the entire building. Whatever was causing it seemed like it was going to be rather hard to find. No matter, she actually rather enjoyed the chase from time to time. Plus, it gave her more time to pick out what she could about the area, possibly piece together what exactly was causing this anomaly. Try as she might, she couldn't quite piece together what the race of the being in question was. Something seemed rather off to her, but in the end that just made the experience more enjoyable. So long as she walked away with new intel, she was content.
Pushing the door open, Priscilla immediately took in her surroundings. The entrance seemed to be rather... normal. Having never been inside a building like this before, she didn't quite know what to expect, but whatever expectations she had were certainly nonexistent. Taking a deep breath, Priscilla began to draw in whatever reiatsu she could from the area through her various means of doing so, and closed her right eye. Within seconds, her face began to almost segment and separate, with sections of where her left eye was now gone as sheets of paper originating from that same area began to disperse around the room and plant themselves in various locations all over the entry hall; high up, against the floor, curved around the ceiling, you name it and there was probably a sheet of paper nearby.
Once all 100 sheets that had originally been apart of her face were dispersed around the room, she took a quick second to focus. Once she did, each and every sheet of paper immediately began to change color, as they masked themselves almost perfectly against the terrain. Priscilla then closed her right eye, giggled softly to herself, and opened it back up again. She'd be set up almost entirely on the off-chance an engagement happened down here, and ultimately this was right where she wanted to be. Now all she needed to do was try to get whatever it was in here to come out of hiding, and see if she could try to reason with it.
[smear:ff80ff]"Hello[/smear:ffffff][smear:ffffff]ooo~?"[/smear:603300] she said, cupping one hand around her jaw to try to amplify her voice, [smear:ff80ff]"Anybody home? Feel free to come out, I've rea[/smear:ffffff][smear:ffffff]lized you're here. I'd like to talk, if that's alright with you!"[/smear:603300] In truth, that wasn't entirely wrong either. She certainly wanted to conversate with whatever it was that was in here, but that ultimately wasn't the main priority. She'd be in a position to put an end to the reiatsu disturbances in the area, solely due to not wanting someone (or something) ruining potential converts that could've been around. Murder was absolutely a last-resort scenario, but should it come to that she'd be ready for it. Taking up a rather relaxed posture, Priscilla simply made the decision to play the waiting game to see what would happen.
{Reiatsu Pool & Paper Count}Reiatsu Pool: 3,450 +200 for Quincy Cross & Spirit Fragment -400 for Heart Property Activation -100 for Form Property Activation -150 for Firing Property Activation -100 for Changing the Appearance of Paper
---------- Paper Count: 400 300 sheets on her person. Located in her breast pocket. 100 sheets scattered around the entrance.
{Paper Information}Priscilla’s Bow Release is themed around that of paper. With paper having as many uses as it does, Priscilla’s Bow Release is comparatively versatile. Her release focuses around the creation, utilization, and weaponization of paper to a masterful point. Through her release, she can create a multitude of sheets of paper, and use those sheets in order to launch powerful attacks against those she deems her foes. These sheets of paper are special; they’re strengthened by her own reiatsu. As such, they don’t have any of the traditional “weaknesses” paper might usually have, such as fire or water. They can function quite well under both circumstances, provided these sheets are strong enough to withstand those circumstances due to Priscilla’s reiatsu.
Each sheet of paper has a Class & OS equal to Priscilla’s Class & OS when separate, and each piece of paper is a pure white in color. For the cost of 1 reiatsu per sheet of paper, Priscilla can cause a sheet of paper to change color and blend into her surrounding, or rest flat against a person. While these sheets of paper are camouflaged like that, each sheet of paper is treated as though its Stealth Skill were equal to Priscilla’s. When in motion, sheets of paper have an innate speed of 600, unless otherwise specified or used as an arrow. When pieces of paper are created, unless they’re explicitly destroyed, they can be used and subsequently reused by her properties at any point, making her a seriously tricky fighter.
{Class 6 Form - Paperwave}Upon activating this property, all of Priscilla’s arrows become made of Reiatsu-strengthened paper. Each arrow is formed from a single 8.5 in. x 11 in. piece of paper, and as such, is much smaller than a standard arrow. This smaller size, however, allows it to fly through the air at a much quicker speed, travelling at a speed of 1000 in a straight line while this property is active. These arrows cost double that of normal arrows. Additionally, when detonated through the innate Vandenreich ability, these paper arrows will “splinter” off, causing anything in a 2x2 square foot area to suffer a large amount of spiritually-strengthened papercuts equal to Priscilla’s OS. Each of these arrows counts as one piece of paper for the purpose of her other properties.
{Class 5 Firing - Queen of the Written Word}After activating this property, Priscilla’s bow effectively disappears. Instead, Priscilla is given the option to fire her arrows by launching folded sheets of paper toward her targets. If her Class 6 property is not active, then these sheets of paper will form into standard Quincy arrows mid-flight, requiring a reiatsu cost equal to the cost of the arrows be paid for this transformation. If her Class 6 property is active, then these paper arrows have no cost in order to be fired. Additionally, by forcing her reiatsu on sheets of paper she isn’t touching within her line of sight, for the cost of firing an arrow, she can cause them to fold and be held around her, allowing them to be fired for the standard cost of using arrows without any sort of somatic requirement or hand movement. Using this effect requires both her Class 6 and Class 5 properties to be active. To make use of her Class 5 property at all, Priscilla must have some amount of paper on her, or paper must be somewhere she can see.
{Class 2 Heart - Author's Blessing}Through this property, Priscilla is able to turn herself into what is effectively living paper. At any point while this property is active, Priscilla is able to instantaneously convert and disperse parts, or all of her body into sheets of paper. One limb can be converted into 500 sheets of paper. A smaller part of a limb, like a hand or a foot, is equal to 100. Her head & neck, and her torso can be converted into 500 sheets, respectively. Her whole body can be converted into 3000 sheets of paper collectively. There’s no reiatsu cost in order to convert these sections of her body into paper, but converting back into her normal form requires 1 point of reiatsu for each piece of paper used, totalling at 3000 for her entire body. Individual parts of her body can be converted into paper for an indefinite amount of time, though her head cannot stay in a paper form for more than two consecutive posts, else Priscilla will die. For the rest of her body to remain in a paper form effectively indefinitely, her head must be created somewhere, leaving her open for likely lethal attacks. In order to convert herself into paper, Priscilla must have enough reiatsu in her pool at time of conversion into paper to convert back. If she doesn’t have enough, she cannot disperse her body. Additionally, these sheets of paper function like the rest of the paper she can create, meaning it can still be destroyed with a strong enough attack. While her eyes at minimum are dispersed, or for a cost of 200 reiatsu every time she would like to, she is considered to be able to "see" from every sheet of paper she has laid out, acting as a way to keep track of the whereabouts of foes. While this property is active, Priscilla’s physical attacks made with her body use her OS instead of her strength.

Keira worked deep within the asylum her current pet project kept her attention for much of her waking hours, a wrist mounted teleporter, good for any world, and any time. Could she just learn how to use the Garganta like hollows do and travel that way? Sure she could, and she might, but then where is the fun in discovering a new way to travel to a world that most don't get to see alive. Besides, she could always use the data to help move her asylum out of its current residence, and somewhere more...private. Her small fists clenched when just thinking about the problems that she is plagued with.
She has had far too many visitors arriving, and interrupting her work over the years. Be it human teenagers looking for a thrill to enter an abandoned asylum, or one of the many spiritual beings that live among the three worlds drawn to her asylum for one reason or another. It irked her how every time one of them intrudes on her, that is time wasted. Time she could spend on perfecting her inventions, or analyzing some data. The only good thing that this location gives her is some choice conveniences. The coffee at the nearby convenience store isn't the worst she had, and had the ramen that she really liked, among other snacks.
Speaking of which, Keira said setting down her tools, and her transporter. She thought that she could feel one heading her way. Keira was good at reading the energy of those around her, but there wasn't that many people around her in her vicinity. With that in mind, she would focus on the larger than average energy reading making its way deliberately to her asylum. Keira sighed running her slender fingers through her long pink hair. It was going to take time to meet her new "guest" at the entrance, so she hoped that whoever it was didn't get too bored and roam around the rest of the asylum looking for her, or anything else that might get her attention.
As Keira walked through the haphazardly reconstructed halls of the asylum, she summoned one of her reiatsu arms to use for transportation. Well that was it's primary use. A good secondary usage would be to help her scare off any random humans, but she knew that wouldn't be the case this time. The presence was stronger, and seemed to draw reiatsu particles to itself. A sure sign of a quincy was at her door. Keira rested her elbow on the thumb of the hand leaning back against the fingers like a chair. It would be interesting a least, she thought with a ghost of a smile. She never had to kick out a quincy before. But that also left things more unpredictable. For as many shinigami she faced, she knew what to expect, and how to deal with them. This was new to her facing a basically all ranged foe, for as far as she knew anyway.
Keira could feel the Quincy up to something. It used a fair amount of reiatsu to do something once it entered her foyer. She will need to look into that when she got there. It appeared that the Quincy was aware of Keira's presence. When she started to call out announcing her intrusion. Keira had to at least give her some points for announcing herself in someone's home, but that still didn't come close to the points she lost coming in uninvited to start with. None of this sat well with Keira. Keira would arrive at the balcony over looking the large entrance looking down at the person standing on the first floor. Keira could see her clearly in the dim lighting thanks to her high senses.
"If your with the government, or the church, get the hell off my property!" He called down in a semi annoyed tone. She knew that this person wouldn't just do so, they never do, so she just continued. "And if you are insistant on staying, at least tell me who you are, who you work for, and more importantly why i should care!?" Keira scanned the room with her bright pink eyes. She didn't see anything out of the norm right away, but she still wasn't convinced. She wouldn't have felt that surge of reiatsu for nothing. For now she would play it casual, until determined this person is a threat.

As she felt a reiatsu signature began to approach closer and closer, Priscilla maintained her smile. By the time the girl was upon the balcony, Priscilla had known what she was just from the immense amount of spiritual energies emanating from her; this girl was a failure. A living bomb, of sorts. She'd need to be careful around her, as to not set her off if things went south. "If your with the government, or the church, get the hell off my property! And if you are insistent on staying, at least tell me who you are, who you work for, and more importantly why I should care!?" Priscilla simply bowed before the girl's presence, once again closing her right eye to get a good look at the girl from every direction, while also simultaneously drawing in reiatsu from the area. She didn't seem hollow in nature, so she deemed it was safe for the time.
For one, the girl was at least a head and a half taller than Priscilla was; while this wasn't something that was uncommon in the slightest, it was something she needed to make note of. Standing tall once more, Priscilla decided to speak with the girl. "Please know that I wish to bring you no harm, miss," she started, "but at the same time, your very existence here is causing rather noteworthy amounts of spiritual disturbances in the area. I've since been asked by his Majesty the Emperor to dispose of you, but I don't feel that is entirely necessary. Perhaps we could come to some sort of agreement in terms of... relocation?" Truth be told, Priscilla fully expected something like this to go horribly wrong. That said, at least she was honest.
"Oh!" she said once more, "Where are my manners? I apologize for not introducing myself; my name is Priscilla Krantz, Captain Supervisor within the Emperor's humble forces; the Vandenreich. And with whom might I have the pleasure of speaking to?" Truth be told, Priscilla did absolutely everything she could in order to hide any negativity behind her word. At least, to Kiera hopefully, Priscilla would likely come across as though she meant well. She'd grown rather skilled at playing with people's emotions, and hopefully this time would be no different. Holding her hand out, sheets of paper began to fly from her breast pocket and into the air around her hand, circulating around for a few seconds.
By the time these sheets of paper all began to slowly flow around and bind together in her hand, Priscilla was now holding what looked very similar to a bouquet of roses, though constructed entirely from paper. She held her hand out to Kiera, and offered the bouquet. "May this be an acceptable offering for peace at the moment, Miss. I am curious though, this is a rather interesting place you seem to reside in; I'd like to ask a few questions about your physiology if you don't mind; do you have the need to eat? If so, does that ever drive you to leave here, even temporarily?" Truth be told, she had so many more questions to ask the girl, but she didn't want to overwhelm her. Especially if it meant that they'd end up against each other at any given point.

And almost right off the bat, Keira was not liking how this interaction was going. She was being polite...enough, but starting with the apologetic "my existence is a problem" routine. She was honestly not sure which one annoyed her more. This, or the over zealous "I am going to stop you villain" hero types. Still Keira shouldn't take too long to deal with her. She knew that Quincys passively draw in reiatsu from their surroundings, and from Keira's extended stay in the asylum, there was defiantly enough reiatsu to draw in. With any hope she can get her out without coming to blows. She was already inside the asylum and far too close to her experiments as it is. Some of them are quite sensitive.
There was something in the Quincy's statement that gained the Failure's interest. She had captured and experimented on a number of Quincy, and a couple brought up a person they referred to as the Emperor, and after some investigation, came to the conclusion that there was a faction of Quinces that obey and worship this Emperor. They were quite the zealot types from her research, but this one didn't seem so. Maybe she was a bit more enlightened than the common Quincy of the sort. "You and your Emperor are not the first to ask for my relocation, nor shall I think the last if a deal cannot be made." She wasn't going to immediately say no to relocating, but it would better be a damn good deal for her.
It seemed that only now did the Quincy decide to give the most basic of manners and give her name. Keira would commit the name Priscilla Krantz to memory, as well as the Vandenreich. Must be the name of their organization, remines her a bit of another reich, but that was neither here no there at the moment. Since Priscilla was polite enough to give her name out, Keira might as well give her name as well. "I am Doctor Keira Bright, researcher of all things scientific." She said her name with no small amount of pride, even if her achievements were not documented down in any scientific journal, or other such thing...yet. Not that it bothered her if others recognized her work. She knew the worth of her work. While politeness was being afforded, Keira wasn't entirely sure on how genuine it was. She wanted to peg it on a bit more than her personal paranoia, but as long as things were civil, Keira would do nothing about it.
Keira felt the same reiatsu signature, but Keira kept her composure watching her from a safe distance. The woman presented a paper bouquet of roses as an offering of peace. Keira smiled politely and waved away the gesture. "There is no need for such things." She stated gliding down the stair case on her constructed steed. Keira stopped a respectable distance from Priscilla, but close enough where she was within range of the flood's full length grasp, but most importantly, where they can hold a conversation without having to nearly shout at each other. Keira wouldn't mind answering some questions, as long as she could get a few answered herself.
"I don't mind," She listened to the question thinking about the answer. She never really had to eat to survive, but she liked to. If it was three things that she liked, it was her coffee, chips, and candies. Those and components were the only things that would get her out of the lab. "Though I don't need to eat to survive, i do like my coffee and snacks, so I go to a nearby 7-11 for such things. I try to keep my outings as short as possible for reasons. Now, I am curious about the Emperor, what kind of man is he to be able to rally a number of Quincies to his call like this?" She asked pulling out a pen and note pad from her coat pockets.

"You and your Emperor are not the first to ask for my relocation, nor shall I think the last if a deal cannot be made." She hadn't started off with a simple "no". Things were already off to a good start for the Quincy. Taking a quick second to interject, Priscilla felt the need to mention something that higher-up Vandenreich Quincy had been able to do. "Well, let me tell you about something his Majesty has allowed us to do in this case; things between us here need not end violently, right? I'm sure you feel the same. Well, should that stay the case, I personally can conjure you up your own home! Provided, you're tolerant of the cold, and would actually care for a place to yourself much larger than any standard mansion."
Kiera Bright. Pulling out a sheet of paper, Priscilla forced an almost negligible amount of reiatsu through the sheet, allowing the girl's name to appear on it in the Quincy's handwriting. Taking the time to show the girl in order to clear out any thoughts of violence from her, Priscilla gave the girl a friendly smile. "Kiera Bright. If you're alright with it, I'd like to take the time to remember your name." She didn't expect anything to lead into opposition like that, but just in case, she felt the need to justify her actions when necessary. Last thing she wanted was for things to end violently when his Majesty simply willed for the girl to be relocated. Taking that same written sheet, she simply placed it against her arm, and it seemed to disappear.
As her bouquet was turned down, the Quincy simply nodded her head. "If you insist, Ms. Bright." In truth she really hadn't minded that she turned down the bouquet. Sure, it was a cute gesture on Priscilla's part, but ultimately, she was an intruder into Kiera's home. To expect her to accept a gift that could've very easily have been trapped would've been outrageous. Instead, Pris simply caused the bouquet to deconstruct, as each sheet of paper that was used began to press itself neatly against her arm, and change in color. Except when seen by the most well-trained eyes, these sheets looked no different than her skin did normally.
Listening to Kiera answer her questions, Priscilla's face lit up. To say she was excited to see her so willing to answer her questions was an understatement. In fact, much like before, Priscilla took out another sheet of paper from her arm, and charged it with a very minimal amount of reiatsu, much like before. This time, however, the sheet read; "Fascinating! As it turns out, Failures don't actually need to maintain an external energy source like standard Humans do! As expected, their bodies are likely purely spiritual." Once again, Pris showed Kiera this note, as to make sure she didn't think she was looking to harm her. Clapping her hands together, Priscilla couldn't help but smile. "Well, Kiera, if you're willing to answer questions every now and again, I suppose we could end up being the best of friends!"
Upon being asked about the Emperor, Priscilla simply nodded once more. "A girl after my own heart, I see! Simply put, his Majesty is the originator of the Quincies as it stands! Every last Quincy, even those that don't stand by his side, originate from his divine blood! Inside of each and every one of us there is a part of him! He is our father, our divine originator if you will! Those that have seen the light and grown to recognize this fact are those that stand on the path of the righteous; those that affiliate with the Vandenreich. Those that don't are simply misguided; stray lambs that it is our job to lead home, lest they be devoured by the wolves of the world. Sincerely, it is such a shame that you live the life you do, I don't believe I possess the ability to convert a Failure into our ranks. Should you find a way to stabilize yourself, however, I may just be able to do something for you if you'd like~!"
