"The dead will not rest until I am whole once more."
✱ OPENING ✱
Passwords: Black Hole, Moon Pray
Discord: Juuli
Class/Rank: Class 1/Rank 3
Position/Affiliation: Captain Supervisor of the Vandenreich / Stern Ritter S - The Sanguine{Type: Struggler}Type: Struggler
Description: Strugglers are individuals who have been abandoned by the graces of fate. These are people who have been cast onto the border between light and darkness. These are those who have been branded with a curse. These curses are unnatural in nature, incapable of being explained by rational science. A curse is not some sort of physical deformity, such as a lazy eye or missing an arm, but rather some sort of supernatural occurrence that thrusts the individual into a life of hardship. Many Strugglers live short lives incapable of tolerating their hardships. Many take their own life or fall to their curse. However, those that struggle on grow into mighty beings with wills of steel. These characters face their troubles with weapon in hand, pushing forward.
Advantage:
- Rank 1: 50% Increase to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 150). 30% increase to Strength (100 would be 130).
- Rank 2: Double Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). 50% increase to Strength (100 would be 150).
- Rank 3: 150% Increase to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 250). 50% increase to Strength (100 would be 150).
- Rank 4: Triple Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 300). 75% increase to Strength (100 would be 175).
Disadvantage: Any character that takes this Type must create a Curse called Osen. This may differentiate between each character, but its name and overall effect must be the same. Osen causes misery, mayhem, and hardship onto its owner. It is a Curse, not a technique any character can control. Osen can be anything; causing someone to turn to stone at midnight, being incapable of drinking water, causing skin to become burnt in the sunlight. As the character both Classes- and Ranks-up with this Type, the Osen will also become stronger. This takes up one Technique slot for the character. No weaponization of the Osen is possible. It cannot be transferred in any way. The Osen supersedes all other techniques, including Releases. It is not possible to be worked around.
- Rank 1: 30% decrease to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 70). 25% decrease to Senses & Energy Sensory (100 would be 75). Must have at least 1 point in Strength of Will.
- Rank 2: 40% decrease to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 60). 25% decrease to Senses & Energy Sensory (100 would be 75). Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
- Rank 3: 50% decrease to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 50). 30% decrease to Senses & Energy Sensory (100 would be 70). Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
- Rank 4: 50% decrease to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 50). 40% decrease to Senses & Energy Sensory (100 would be 60). Must have at least 3 points in Strength of Will.

Name: Sieglinde Priscilla Krantz
Real Age/Age of Appearance: 467/25
Birthday: July 25th
Blood Type: AB+✱ APPEARANCE ✱
Height: 5'9"/175 cm.
Weight: 133 lbs./60.3 kg.
Eye Color: Black & Red
Hair Color: Snow White & Pitch Black{Faceclaim: Arlecchino (Genshin Impact)}
Physical Appearance:
Sieglinde Krantz is a woman of class. She stands at a fairly respectable 5’9”, and weighs a healthy 133 lbs. Her physical build is quite slender, with few defining features. Her form isn't exactly curvy, with somewhat distinct lack of feminine assets. This is not something that has worried her, as, even though she's fairly vain, she still has a strong amount of self-confidence, and is proud to look as she does. One may say that, besides what was previously mentioned, she was blessed with a stellar appearance, as is evident from her face.
Sieglinde's hair is naturally silvered, and maintains that same color throughout almost her entire head aside from a singular darkened streak on the right side near her face. The rest remains pale as snow, and rest neatly at her shoulders in terms of length. For the most part her hair is rather well-kept, despite always looking freshly-cut. Kept mostly out of her face, Sieglinde's hair tends to serve its purpose not only in terms of her fashion sense, but out of sheer practicality of its length. At a first glance, her choice of choice of hairstyle has an almost androgynous aura about it.
Making our way down, Sieglinde's eyes are certainly a sight to behold, pun intended. They're doe-like in shape and size, though not to the point where they're taking up the majority of her face. They rest a small distance away from the top of her forehead where they belong. Despite what one would normally expect, Sieglinde's eyes aren't quite "normal"; despite their standard darkened color, both possess a set of thin red lines in them, resembling that of an "X". On occasion she may wear some form of eyeliner or mascara to accentuate her eyes, but Sieglinde much prefers to let her natural beauty show, as opposed to having to accentuate her already flawless appearance. Around her eyes are completely clear, free from any bags or anything of the like. Her eyebrows are fairly small as well, and thin in shape. They rest neatly between her eyes and her forehead, adding a good balance between the two, while avoiding looking unnatural in any way.
Her nose rests neatly towards the center of her face, and is rather small and cute. Her nose does not protrude out very far, and has a very minuscule curve upwards. Her nostrils are never flared, as there's no reason to do so to begin with. Right below her nose is her mouth, which, naturally is completely clean from any and all hair around her mouth. Her lips are a pale pink in color, taking on a slightly more red appearance. Her complexion is completely clear of any and all blemishes or scars, as she takes excellent care of her skin. Having never had to deal with acne or anything of the like, she tends to make sure that this will never happen.
When speaking, Sieglinde has somewhat of a faint German accent. Over time it has since nearly faded, but traces of it still remain. This is something that is likely never going to completely fade, as it links back to her early childhood, but it has since died down significantly. When speaking, she tends to use various hand gestures to do what she can to get a point across. This is also something she's been doing since a young age, and something of a habit that she's likely not going to be broken of any time soon, nor is there any need for her to break this habit any time soon.
As far as clothes go, Sieglinde is constantly, and almost 100% of the time going to be seen in a Vandenreich uniform. Her uniform is specialized, having made a fair deal of it herself. Starting off is the overcoat, and this is where it becomes obvious that this personalized uniform takes more inspiration from the male variant of the normal uniform, as opposed to those meant for women. This is the standard double-breasted trench coat that most members wear, consisting of a white color and long sleeves. Overtop this uniform, a thick, hoodless cloak will often be present, especially in colder environments. On the left sleeve of the coat, attached to the kissing buttons, is her Quincy cross resting neatly from the buttons attached to a chain. Inside the left breast pocket is another chain, holding the Quincy cross of a since-felled friend of hers, Amalia Vollbrecht. This Quincy cross acts as Sieglinde’s small bow.
Next along the uniform is a pair of white dress pants that match quite nicely underneath the jacket. These pockets are more akin to khakis in shape, despite the white color of them. Each leg has three pockets, one where they would normally be on the hips. one on the outer thigh, and one down by the leg. The first set of pockets are actually, well, pockets. They're not those fake pockets that most pairs of women's pants have, as these are fairly deep. These are used to keep her hands, as she doesn't like to put anything in these. Her next set of pockets are halfway between her hips and her knees, and are deep as well. These are usually used to store bulkier but smaller items, such as a canister or can of some kind. This last pocket is much smaller in size, as it's more of an "improvisational pocket", meaning that any item that may need to be concealed or quickly used, such as a small grenade-like object, is likely going to be here. These pockets are covered by a pair of black trench boots, stretching up to Sieglinde's knees.
Underneath her overcoat, Sieglinde wears a long-sleeved dress shirt, not being very fond of having little underneath her coat. The inside of her overcoat is absolutely riddled with various areas to store items that may be of use. On the left side, six leather rings exist to hold six different Steele Schneide hilts. These hilts are spaced out enough as to not interfere with the bending of her coat, though due to the length of them, bending down could be rather hard when they're all in the rings. Once the overcoat is opened, they can be quickly drawn without issue. Sieglinde will make sure to keep six hilts on her at all times, with no exceptions. On the right side holds similarly shaped, but smaller leather rings, as to hold Ginto tubes. These rings and storage areas are padded as well as possible, as to prevent them from being damaged, unless her torso is being crushed from all around by excessive amounts of force, in which case, even the hilts may be damaged depending on the force. There are a total of thirty rings to store said Ginto tubes, though she's a fair deal less likely to keep these stocked up, as Ginto tubes can be rather expensive.
On her right breast pocket, Sieglinde has the Vandenreich emblem, seemingly made of some form of metal. This emblem is Sieglinde's Quincy Cross, and acts as a means of drawing in reiatsu, as the Quincy cross does. Atop her head, is a peaked cap, also emblazoned with the Vandenreich emblem. The cap is lined with various whites and blues, having quite an ornate, but commanding look. It would be fair to say that the hat belongs to someone of a higher standing or rank. This emblem appears to be made of a similar material. Her hat is held to her head through various pins holding her hair inside of the hat, as to prevent it from flying off of her head in a combative scenario.
Though she may wear this the majority of the time, there are still moments when wearing the full uniform is far from beneficial. When these situations arise, Sieglinde is much more likely to be seen wearing casual attire, though still consisting of various blues and whites. Even when needing to be inconspicuous, she’ll still do what she can to represent her new home. Even in casual attire, she’s still going to be seen wearing her cap, held to her head with various pins. Her Quincy Cross is likely to be adorned to whatever it is she’s wearing, being placed over her heart when not wearing her normal Vandenreich uniform. Even when wearing casual clothes, which will differ on appearance depending on where she is, she’s still likely to summon her uniform to fight in that, as she’s much, much more comfortable when she knows that she’ll be well-armed in combat.✱ PERSONALITY ✱
Alignment: True Neutral
Likes:
✱ Plants - Unsurprising due to her namesake, Sieglinde loves plants, especially flowers. Her favorite kind of flower is the Osiria Rose, due to the unique color scheme of such a beautiful and well-renowned flower.
✱ Books - Sieglinde enjoys reading quite a lot. Though, she tends to stay away from fiction genres, as nonfiction books are likely the only books that are going to teach her much of anything, hence the type of writing that nonfiction is.
✱ Her Uniform - She’s got a bit of a soft spot for accessorizing, though, while this may be the case, she tends to prefer to stay in uniform. Something about it makes her feel powerful and in charge; something she likes.
✱ The Vandenreich - She’s devoted herself to the Holy Empire since she was young. That devotion is both not going to fade any time soon, and is extremely strong. She’s willing to give her life for the will of the Emperor.
✱ The Human World - Gas station slushies.
✱ Her Bow - Sieglinde’s bow is one of her most prized possessions. She’ll carry it with her relatively everywhere she goes, as there’s no reason not to. Considering her cross can easily be concealed, there’s no sense in leaving without it.
✱ Acquaintances - Sieglinde has a fair amount of acquaintances, a good deal of which have their own ways of being useful to her. Whether this be through training, or those she could possibly learn from in other ways, she holds these people rather close to her.
✱ Aspirations - Sieglinde likes to hear people gush about their goals in life. While not one to talk about her own most of the time, she enjoys hearing about that passion from others around her; especially when it involves further the goals of His Majesty.
✱ Writing - Just as she’s an avid reader, Sieglinde really enjoys to write as well! She’ll usually always keep a small notebook on her at all times in order to write down ideas for potential novellas, or anything else she may want to write. In fact, she’s a rather successful writer in the Human World under the Pen name, Ilyse Holler.
✱ Carefully Executed Planning - There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing everything you’ve been working towards actually manage to work itself out nicely. This is something that Sieglinde strives for both in and out of combat, with both physical and social affairs.
✱ Modern Technology - Keeping in touch with subordinates has been made so much easier with the introduction of modern technology, mostly including cell phones. Granted, nothing beats a face-to-face conversation, but they’re useful for quick calls when the time arises.
Dislikes:
✱ Free Quincy - They’re a shame, really. With all of that potential, it’s a shame they let it go to waste. What is it like to fight without any reason in the world? She truly wishes the Vandenreich could help these poor individuals; guide them into His Majesty's light.
✱ Lack of Prep-Time - Sieglinde feels she should be able to have as much time as she needs to prepare for a mission or event, as at that point, she’ll be at her best. If she’s not, or she doesn’t have the option to prepare, she’ll likely sit out if the option is available.
✱ Hollows - They’re a fate worse than death; quite literally, in fact! They’re poor, unfortunate creatures. They should be cleansed; nobody should have to suffer through that torment of living such a painful life like that.
✱ Shinigami - Constantly locked in war with Quincy? If they’re the opposing side, constantly looking to pick a fight with her people, how is she not going to dislike them? That much should be fairly obvious.
✱ Drawn-Out Situations - Whether from a fight that's taking far too long to finish, or from a meeting that she'd just like to leave, Sieglinde likes to keep her schedule tight and flowing at all times. When something goes on for too long, she's not afraid to get vocal about it if the situation calls for it.
✱ Casual Events - She doesn’t like to be in these kinds of events. They’re generally without any form of order; any form of force balancing the chaos. If they have some kind of order to them, somewhere she won't have to deal with the spontaneity of undesirables, she'll be glad to attend.
✱ Commanding Individuals - Not quite unlike another dislike described below, Sieglinde does not enjoy being around folks that have a naturally "commanding" presence about them; at least, not in the presence of those of a lower rank. She very much enjoys perceiving herself as the center of attention in most circumstances, though is unlikely to admit to it.
✱ Laziness - Everyone within the Vandenreich plays an integral part in His Majesty's grand game, from the oldest of Sternritter, to the newest of Privates. Everyone has their own duties they must fulfill in order to keep things moving like a well-oiled machine. Should someone neglect those duties, and there will be hell to pay.
✱ Being Told What To Do - Sieglinde likes to be in charge. Her personality won’t allow her to be anything else but in charge of those weaker than her. While she’ll acknowledge when she’d be beaten, and is willing to take orders from superiors, that does not mean she particularly cares for it.
Habits:
✱ Fiddling With Her Fingers - Whenever she gets bored or anxious, Sieglinde will mess with her fingers and nails, as a sort of way to release stress, or occupy herself. Most commonly, she’ll start to “snap” her thumb underneath of her middle and index fingers.
✱ Overexertion - She’s quite likely to lose track of her limits in a fight, due to the fact that she’s constantly looking to overcome these. Until that happens, though, she’s much more likely to cause herself to possibly pass out in combat.
✱ Talking Strategy - While not very talkative otherwise, Sieglinde tends to find herself lost in conversation when she gets the time to talk about plans for really anything. Whether something as simple as her day, or even to more complex analysis over a battlefield, she's very much the type to lose herself in conversation over such topics.
Flaws:
✱ Vain - Sieglinde, while able to cover it when she wants to and when she needs to, is fairly self-obsessed. This isn’t something she’ll try to hide if the situation will allow it, but in front of superiors, she’ll do what she needs to in order to suppress this.
✱ Excitable - Sieglinde can have quite a lot of energy at times. While this doesn’t necessarily show, as she’s a fairly laid back person in general, she may get rather excited easier than most; usually for the worst, in pseudo-aggressive displays.
✱ Hopelessly Devoted - At this point, she’s devoted her very being to the betterment of the Vandenreich, and this is not something that is going to change anytime soon. She’d likely change some of her beliefs and morals before changing her alignment with the Holy Empire.
✱ Too Calculated - Seeing everything almost like that of a game of Chess, Sieglinde tends to rely a bit too heavily on her calculations at times. While certainly intelligent, her plans are by no means infallible; something her own self-righteous mindsets fails to let her recognize.
✱ Quiet - Above all else, Sieglinde tends to keep to herself. She's the type of person to only speak when necessary, and will only speak what out of that must be stated. Other than that? She tends to remain absolutely silent, even to her fellow Vandenreich.
Fears:
✱ Being Stripped of Her Rank - This is easily Sieglinde’s biggest fear. She does not want to lose her position of power, under any circumstances. She’ll do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening, as well as to keep herself rising in ranks.
✱ Being Forced to Abandon the Vandenreich - As stated multiple times, she’s devoted to the Emperor. Being forced to leave would be like stripping her of a will to live and go on. She fears the day that this may happen like a recurring nightmare.
✱ Being Overwhelmed In Combat - This is her job! She’s the one who does the overwhelming, not anybody else! This is both a fear, due to the fact that she has no way to really deal with being overwhelmed, as well as a severe dislike due to the fact that it’s robbing her of her way of fighting.
Goals:
✱Sternritter - This is a massive goal for Sieglinde. It’s something she’s dreamed of ever since she found out the rank existed, and it’s something she’s not going to stop striving for until she actually takes the position. It's so close to her, she can practically taste it!
✱ Live A Fulfilling Life - This is another high up one for her. Many people have told her throughout her life that this was not the path for her. She’s here to prove those people wrong, and make them forcefully eat their words.
✱ Merging the Three Worlds - Quite easily Sieglinde's most ambitious and even possibly out of reach goal, she looks to force the Human World, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo to merge into a singular, easily-accessible area, quite literally overlapping with one another. None of the multi-dimensional garbage currently going on. If that were to occur, rounding up and tearing down the remainder of the Three Worlds in the name of His Majesty would be so much easier.
Overall Personality:
To sum her up rather simply, Sieglinde is a woman of deadly efficiency. She is very much an individual that plays things "by the book", so to speak. If there's a plan to be followed - especially one that she herself wrote - she's going to do what she can in order to follow it to the tee. Calm, calculated, and cruel on occasion, Sieglinde is not a woman that spends her time messing about where she doesn't need to be. Except while on more noteworthy or extreme missions that call for otherwise, Sieglinde is very much going to focus on getting a job done as quickly and efficiently as she can potentially do so; whether it's meetings with other Vandenreich, or something completely different.
When faced with people she likes, Sieglinde is going to be much more likely to open up to those individuals. While certainly outside of her comfort zone, for those that find themselves within her inner circle, there's a strong likelihood Sieglinde may be comfortable making herself vulnerable around them. While not always the case, it's a noteworthy possibility. Outside of that inner circle, this "opening up" more so extends to sharing the occasional personal experience, and likely a less "straight to the point" approach to conversation. If she feels someone is a friend, why keep treating them like just a colleague?
To the people she doesn’t like, do not feel called out. More often than not, there is going to be a reason for Sieglinde to actually have a negative outlook toward an individual. Most of the time? It's going to be deserved; at least, in her mind. Contrary to what one might expect at a first glance, Sieglinde is actually quite tolerant of the behaviors of others. She's not the type to immediately lash out in rude comments toward those she's ambivalent toward. Get on her bad side, though, and all bets are absolutely off the table.
To those that want to go from her good side to her bad side, they'll find it's not the hardest thing in the world to actually pull off. All it takes is a single moment of betrayal, and any semblance of respect she once had is immediately thrown out the window. She's a woman of loyalty, if that wasn't clear from her position within the Vandenreich. Someone's personal loyalties very much mean quite a bit to the girl, and breaching her own trust in that regard is a surefire way to be thrown off the side of an ice castle without any semblance of remorse on the matter.
To go from her bad side to her good side, one might find it quite difficult. Once that level of trust has been broken, for Sieglinde to gain it back would require nothing short of a miracle. She's already not quick to trust as it is; if you managed to get onto her bad side due to a breach of that trust, there isn't a chance in hell that is going to change. Simply put, Sieglinde is the type to hold a grudge over something she finds to be that serious, so don't be surprised if she starts with the remarks.
In order to get close to her, individuals might find it quite the difficult task to accomplish. Sieglinde isn't exactly the most sociable of the Vandenreich. This is a fact that makes itself quite apparent from the natural "leader" role she tends to push for herself. Given this, getting on the girl's good side may very well involve just simply following orders and keeping in line as best as possible. If she approaches, then she approaches. Otherwise there isn't much that is going to change from that.✱ COMBAT ✱
Fighting Style:
Sieglinde's fighting style focuses very heavily on the debilitation of those around her to the best of her capabilities. By working to damn and condemn those that His Majesty sees fit, her powers allow her to tear into enemies of the Vandenreich with extreme force, and quite the amount of prejudice where necessary. This is only further exemplified in her Vollstandig.
With her first Form Property, Sieglinde's Bow take shape as a revolver of sorts, giving her an immediate ranged weapon where necessary. This weapon focuses on the girl's spiritually-inclined nature, allowing her to strike with more force, though still plays off of a semi-physical nature, making it more difficult to simply guard against.
Her second Form Property functions similarly, allowing the girl to give up some of her own physical force in order to debilitate those she strikes with her blade. Functioning quite nicely alongside her revolver, this weapon aims to only further exemplify the girl's killing intent, while striking against physical and spiritual resistances at the same time.
Moving onto her Power Property, Sieglinde is capable of taking advantage of the raw, spiritual scorn that His Majesty aims to enact upon the world. It's through this ability that she seeks to strike down those where she can, taking advantage of any shortcomings and punishing for taking hits. Those that simply cannot keep up with the increased expenditure will have their souls stolen; simple as that.
Her Mass Property allows the girl to compound a number of bullets into a singular shot, giving not only increased killing capabilities but also spreading His Majesty's scorn through a more potent avenue. While certainly expensive to keep up at all times, this proves to be quite useful against those that feel they can defend against powerful defensive abilities.
Her Firing Property gives her the opportunity to still strike from a range against those that she wishes to engage in melee combat, and are actually quite cheap when compared against regular arrows, making this a powerful option when her own scorn grows to rather astronomical heights. Not to mention, it allows her to fire off free bullets where she can.
Lastly, Sieglinde's Soul Property grants her absolute mastery over His Majesty's capabilities, significantly ramping up her killing potential for each and every second of combat that passes. While she's in this state, should someone dally on taking her down, it will very quickly spell their own end. She becomes quite the force to be reckoned with, while in this state.
Bow Release Name: Scornful Sovereignty
Bow Release Archetype: Offensive
Bow Release Overall Theme:
Sieglinde's Bow Release, Scornful Sovereignty, revolves around severe and constant debilitation of those around her. Through manipulating His Majesty's own scorn toward the lesser beings, Sieglinde is capable of forcing others to expend more of their resources in a combative scenario, leaving them open and more likely to be smote down by herself.
Her Vollstandig plays off of similar themes, continuing with this 'divine retribution' motif, but more focuses on the aspect of Souls. Becoming an arbiter of those His Majesty claims, Sieglinde gains the ability to manipulate her own holy form with the souls of those His Majesty deems worthwhile to have slain, further empowering her abilities where she can.{Class 6 Bow Form - Verfluchtes Geschoss (Cursed Bullet)}{Image Reference Here}
Through her Class 6 Bow Form, Sieglinde alters the shape of her bow to that of a revolver-esque handgun. Both physical and spiritual in nature, this gun packs quite the kick upon being fired, and quite the kick upon being struck. Arrows (referred to as Bullets from hereon out) fired from the Verfluchtes Geschoss, instead of functioning off of one standard Offensive Stat, function off of a mix of both; namely, 25% of Strength, and 75% of Spiritual Pressure. The Bullets fired from this revolver are pseudo-physical in nature, and are treated as both physical and spiritual for the purposes of bypassing and/or overcoming defensive options.
As one can expect, however, the Verfluchtes Geschoss requires it be Reloaded in order to fire. Reloading the Verfluchtes Geschoss takes a short second to do (reduced with points in Revolvers), and costs the Reiatsu for each Bullet up front, instead of when firing. The Verfluchtes Geschoss is able to hold up to 6 Bullets in the chamber before needing to be manually Reloaded, though can be Reloaded at any point before that. The Verfluchtes Geschoss will always start with six Class 6 Bullets in the chamber on initial activation. Reiatsu can be spent alongside the activation of this property to instead exchange these for higher-Classed Bullets, but if that is not done then these rounds come alongside the activation cost. Bullets can be loaded into the chamber through outside effects while this Property is inactive, but cannot be fired until the activation of this Property.
While firing the Verfluchtes Geschoss through a Shortbow doesn't have any mechanical difference attached to it, Verfluchtes Geschoss is able to be activated a second time (and thus counting as a second Property active) through the shortbow, allowing for two firearms to be wielded at the same time. While this Property is doubly active, reloading takes twice as long, though with 4 Ranks in Revolvers this time is still made rather negligible.{Class 5 Bow Form - Verfluchtes Dolch (Cursed Dagger) - 150 Reiatsu}
Through her Class 5 Bow Form, Sieglinde alters the shape of her bow to that of a trench knife. The weapon itself has a blade around eight inches in length, with a metallic knuckle over the grip. Much like the Verfluchtes Geschoss, this Bow Form functions off of a split-Offensive Stat; 75% Strength, and 25% Spiritual Pressure. Much like the Verfluchtes Geschoss, this weapon is also treated as both physical and spiritual for the purposes of bypassing and/or overcoming defensive options.
As one can expect, the Verfluchtes Dolch is incapable of firing Bullets. Instead, this weapon can be thrown as Sieglinde sees fit, flying not at arrow speed, but at a Speed equal to her Strength, as her physical prowess is being utilized to launch the weapon. For 25 Reiatsu, she can call the weapon back to her hand, allowing it to vanish entirely and instantaneously reappear in an open palm as though nothing had happened.
Much like the Verfluchtes Geschoss, this weapon does not have any mechanical difference when utilized through a Shortbow. Instead, and similarly to her Class 6 Property, Verfluchtes Dolch can be activated a second time (and thus counting as a second Property active) through the shortbow, allowing for two knives to be wielded at the same time. No matter whether activated through the Shortbow or main Bow, this does mean that this property can be active alongside Verfluchtes Geschoss to wield a gun-and-knife pair, so long as Sieglinde can deal with having two properties active. Every successful hit with Verfluchtes Dolch will immediately Reload one Bullet into the Verfluchtes Geschoss, with a Class equal to the highest-active Property at no cost to Sieglinde. Naturally, this requires the property to be active in order to Reload.{Class 4 Power - Verachtung der Seele (Scorn of the Soul) - 200 Reiatsu}
As one can expect from her Schrift, this ability serves as her weaponization of her position; a deliverance of His Majesty's wrath upon her foes. Through her Class 4 Power Property, Sieglinde is given a new resource to keep track of; Scorn. Used by Sieglinde to "infect" the souls of those she fights, Scorn contaminates those with it from the inside out until broken down entirely, leaving the remnants of the destroyed soul trapped within Sieglinde's Quincy Cross for the time being. Scorn can only be gained - both for allies, enemies, and unnamed bystanders alike - while this Property, or Sieglinde's Class 1 Soul Property are active. While these two Properties are inactive, Scorn will still be maintained, but new Scorn cannot be gained and the effects of Scorn are completely ignored.
An amount of Scorn can be stored equal to her current maximum reiatsu pool, and is gained through a few separate methods. To start, every post that this Property remains active, Sieglinde will generate an amount of Scorn based off of the Class of her highest-active Property; 100 Scorn for Class 4, 200 Scorn for Class 3, and 300 Scorn for Class 2. Class 1 will offer additional benefits, as listed in that property itself. Every time that Sieglinde Reloads, she'll gain an amount of Scorn equal to the Reiatsu spent. Every Bullet that finds its mark will reward 50 Scorn, and every successful strike from the Verfluchtes Dolce will reward 150 Scorn.
By spending Scorn when making an attack through her release - whether through slashing with Verfluchtes Dolch, or through her Bullets, Sieglinde is able to immediately infect those that take the hit with the same amount of Scorn. If an attack misses, the spent Scorn is still lost. For every point of Scorn that an individual has, that amount will be compared against their base maximum Reiatsu Pool. The resulting percentage will increase all Reiatsu costs by that amount (i.e. if someone has a maximum Reiatsu Pool of 4,000, and they have 400 Scorn, all Reiatsu costs will increase by 10%). When someone's costs are increased via Scorn, Sieglinde leeches 50% of the increased Reiatsu cost from those that are forced to spend because of it (using the example above, if that 400 Scorn individual would spend 100 reiatsu, the cost is increased to 110, and Sieglinde would siphon 5 reiatsu from them).
When someone reaches enough Scorn to equal 100% of their base Maximum Reiatsu Pool, their soul will be broken down, destroying them in a DE thread (or simply incapacitating in an NDE/DP thread), and storing their Soul or a fragment of their Soul in her Quincy Cross for the remainder of the thread. Wounds left from Scorn-infused attacks require a healing technique backed with an Offensive Stat equal to or greater than the amount of Scorn infused, or require a Healing Expertise equal to or greater than the Scorn infused. Every Rank in Poison Resist that an individual has treats the value of Scorn infused in attacks as 25% lower for this purpose, to a minimum of 1 point of Scorn.
As one can expect, Scorn serves as a double-edged sword for Sieglinde and her allies as well. Sieglinde is similarly required to pay any extra Reiatsu costs due to Scorn, though will not be destroyed upon reaching 100%. Sieglinde entering her Vollständig is the only exception to this cost increase. Allies afflicted will also have to pay these extra costs, and will be destroyed at 100%. Given her ability to regenerate Reiatsu is removed due to her Osen, and Sieglinde is required to gain Scorn herself before forcing it upon others, poor management of this resource will quickly burn Sieglinde out of Reiatsu faster than she can reasonably keep up with. Ranks in Poison Resist will reduce incoming Scorn build-up by 5% per Rank, starting at 10% and capping at 25% with 4 Ranks. Even if an individual possesses three times Sieglinde's Offensive Stat, due to the sheer number of hits being required to land, someone cannot be out-right immune to any of the effects of Scorn.{Class 3 Mass - Vernichtendes Nachladen (Devastating Reload) - 250 Reiatsu}
Sieglinde's Mass Property, Vernichtendes Nachladen, aims to fire each round of her revolver all at once. While this property is active, Sieglinde is able to fire her revolver once, and spend every Bullet currently loaded in the weapon. Each Bullet is forcefully pressed together to fire a singular, supercharged round. Instead of the normal split-Offensive Stat that the round in question would otherwise have, the Bullet fired is made either Physical or Spiritual; Sieglinde must choose at the time of firing. Each Bullet spent counts for 50% of the Offensive Stat of this round (with only 1 Bullet spent, the round will only hit with 50% of the chosen Offensive Stat, whereas a full six Bullets will result in a 3x to the Offensive Stat in question). This Property, being an Attack Boost, can only be done once per post. If Bullets of a varying Class are fired alongside once another, the Class of this round is equal to the lowest of the group. Despite only firing off one Bullet, use of this property will treat the round as though it were the same number of Bullets used to create it, interacting with her Properties were appropriate in order to account for this. Reloading will take noticeably longer to do while this Property is active at all, so much so that even with a 4 in Revolvers Sieglinde is going to need a second to do so, leaving her open with one gun, and dangerously vulnerable while reloading two.{Class 2 Firing - Giftige Peitsche (Toxic Lash) - 400 Reiatsu}
Through her Class 2 Firing Property, Giftige Peitsche allows Sieglinde to fire arrows through the Verfluchtes Dolch. While this property is active, the Verfluchtes Dolch is capable of firing a single Swordbeam-like arrow about two feet in size with the swing of the blade, traveling much like the arrows listed under Verfluchtes Geschoss; instead of functioning off of one standard Offensive Stat, function off of a mix of both; namely, 25% of Strength, and 75% of Spiritual Pressure. These slashes are pseudo-physical in nature, and are treated as both physical and spiritual for the purposes of bypassing and/or overcoming defensive options. When these Swordbeams come in contact with an individual, that individual is treated as though the Verfluchtes Dolch had just landed a hit, and interacts with Sieglinde's other Properties as if that had just occurred. Due to the rather massive 'tell', and physical exertion required to fire these Swordbeams, the reiatsu cost for these is reduced by 50%, after any other reductions may apply.{Class 1 Soul - Nebel der Verdammten (Mists of the Damned) - 500 Reiatsu}
Serving as Sieglinde's 'capstone' ability, Nebel der Verdammten serves as a rather extreme applicant of Scorn. Upon activation of this Property, Sieglinde emits a black-green mist in a five-foot radius around her. While within this radius, all living individuals - including Sieglinde herself - will be immediately infected with 100 Scorn. For every Bullet fired while within this area, the radius will expand outward by a foot, with no maximum distance. Every 6 Bullets fired while within this area will increase the Scorn infection to all individuals by an additional 25 per post from this Property. Every 18 Bullets fired while within this area will reduce the cost of Sieglinde's Bullets by 10%, to a minimum of 10%. Every 54 Bullets fired while within this area will cause the mist to explode outward for a short moment, immediately infecting everything within the area with 1,000 Scorn. When Nebel der Verdammten is deactivated, any built-up range is lost. Upon reactivation, Nebel der Verdammten will reset back to a five-foot radius. Scorn infections happen at the beginning of a post, before any actions are taken by Sieglinde.
As mentioned in Verachtung der Seele, this Property shares quite a number of similar effects when active: For every point of Scorn that an individual has, that amount will be compared against their base maximum Reiatsu Pool. The resulting percentage will increase all Reiatsu costs by that amount (i.e. if someone has a maximum Reiatsu Pool of 4,000, and they have 400 Scorn, all Reiatsu costs will increase by 10%). When someone's costs are increased via Scorn, Sieglinde leeches 50% of the increased Reiatsu cost from those that are forced to spend because of it.
While most of the basic effects of Scorn carry over into this property, there are a couple of variations. For one, Scorn cannot be actively spent through attacks with only this Property active, nor can it be gained through additional methods; all Scorn is acquired through this Property, making it quite the double-edged sword for Sieglinde and her allies. One thing to note, however, this Property has rather powerful interactions when used in conjunction with Verachtung der Seele; when both Properties are active at the same time, all infections of Scorn are doubled, as are the detriments. This means that Scorn will build twice as fast as before, and potentially ramp Reiatsu costs up to quadruple their normal costs for those afflicted, serving as a powerful tool to burn through Reiatsu, but given all applications of Scorn will hit Sieglinde either first or at the same time, it becomes an incredibly dangerous game for her to carefully manage.
Vollstandig Name: S - The Scorned{Divine Form - Seelenlose Flügel (Soulless Wings)- 500 Reiatsu}{Image Reference}
Upon entering Vollständig, Sieglinde doesn't actually undergo all that much of a transformation. Upon entering this form, Sieglinde is given a pair of wings, and a halo. Though, both of these appear to be rather fragmented; perfectly complimenting the girl's new Schrift and general falling out of favor. The halo in particular appears to be cracked in multiple places, with small fragmentations of the ring remaining present and still floating about as though in a sort of perpetual stasis. Contrary to the example picture, this halo appears a spectral blue, colored identically to her own reiatsu.
The wings that Sieglinde gains are similarly fragmented, though in a somewhat different way. Each wing is made up of a total of fifty individual crystalline segments, with her general wingspan reaching out to about half her height. As one can expect, these are rather small. In turn, however, these wings will scale in size based on how many Souls Sieglinde had managed to collect before entering her Holy Form. Each individual Soul will add another crystalline segment to her wings, adding on about half the girl's height to each wing for every 50 Souls she's able to collect. These wings are backed by her Spiritual Pressure, and are capable of blocking incoming attacks assuming she's able to move them in order to protect herself fast enough. While fragmented, these wings provide full protection; attacks will not slip through the cracks, and will instead by repelled by a sort of "barrier" coating the wings. While these wings allow for flight, flight is inaccessible while Sieglinde is protecting herself with her wings. If looking to protect herself without any sort of air ground, she'll likely begin to plummet without moving said wings to keep herself in the air.
In addition to these wings and halo, Sieglinde is given a pair of revolvers, very much like that of her first Form Property. Instead of costing Reiatsu, these Revolvers instead cost Scorn to fire; the cost of Scorn compared to Reiatsu remains the same, meaning 70 Scorn will still net a Class 1 Bullet. Reloading is required as normal. If her Bullets strike an individual, the amount of spent Scorn will be rewarded to Sieglinde, encouraging her to accurately land her blows. One Class 1 Bullet will be loaded into each gun per post for no cost to Sieglinde; any additional Reloading still costs Reiatsu or Scorn, however. Scorn infections on Sieglinde will not increase her own Scorn costs; only Reiatsu costs.{Divine Power - Seelenlose Stiftung (Soulless Foundation) - 1,000 Reiatsu}
Sieglinde's Divine Power is a bit on the odd side compared to what they would normally do. Instead of having any kind of offensive effect, Sieglinde's Divine Power instead allows the girl to sacrifice Scorn currently present on the battlefield in order to power her Holy Form. When entering Vollständig, every 1 Scorn translates to one point of Reiatsu. Payment of Scorn will count toward an unaltered Reiatsu cost; even if costs are increased through some outside means, every 500 Scorn paid will still grant the next advancement. No matter how much Scorn is currently in play, Sieglinde is only able to sacrifice an amount equal to her base maximum Reiatsu pool (if she has 1,000 Spiritual Pressure, only 10,000 Scorn can be sacrificed, assuming she's capable of producing that much). Before Scorn can be paid for this Property however, a minimum of 1,000 Reiatsu is still required in order to reach this stage. This part of her Divine Power only kicks in upon Vollständig's activation; she cannot spend Scorn after entering her Holy Form in order to prolong the duration. Aside from this, all active detriments and effects of Scorn remain in play while in Vollständig, as though both her Power and Soul Properties had been active at the same time. Applications listed in those Properties, however, won't be in effect; Scorn can only be produced via her Vollständig at this stage. When combined with her Bullets from Divine Form, accurately landing her shots will result in a net positive amount of Scorn as one could expect, instead of breaking even.{Divine Soul - Seelenlose Krieger (Soulless Soldiers) - 1,500 Reiatsu}
Serving as Sieglinde's capstone ability, even amongst both her Bow Release and Vollständig, Seelenlose Krieger is effectively the girl's "win condition". Upon entering her Vollstandig, a thirty-foot radius around Sieglinde will begin to emit the same black mist as described in her Soul Property, and will similarly generate 200 Scorn for all those inside every single post, before Divine Power's doubling effect. While this area's size doesn't grow like her Soul Property, it instead comes with a rather insidious effect. Upon activation of her Divine Soul, all of the Souls stored within the girl's Quincy Cross will be forcibly brought to the battlefield, fighting united under one banner for Sieglinde. Listed below are simple stat-blocks for the nameless NPCs that might have their Souls stolen over the course of the Thread. Unless otherwise specified, said NPCs will have the following Stat Blocks, but will maintain the same Class as Sieglinde's Vollständig, existing as a Classed entity. Due to this, even despite their low stats, the Souls of those she brings back from death are made frighteningly difficult to kill. Unnamed NPCs cannot be any stronger than the Class 6 examples given below, and these NPCs do not possess a type, Skills, or non-release techniques. Divine Soul summons of any kind will inflict an amount of Scorn equal to their Offensive Stat to those they strike, including Sieglinde, her Allies, or additional Summons. Individuals that are killed during the duration of Sieglinde's Divine Soul will grant her additional Souls to draw upon, but summoning these souls require her to spend 50 of her own Scorn per Class of the killed individual. Named NPCs will double this cost.{Stat Blocks}
Class 8:
Strength: 50
Speed: 50
Reiatsu Strength: 50
Spiritual Pressure: 50

Class 7:
Strength: 75
Speed: 75
Reiatsu Strength: 75
Spiritual Pressure: 75

Class 6:
Strength: 100
Speed: 100
Reiatsu Strength: 100
Spiritual Pressure: 100
Instinct: 100
Senses: 100
Energy Sensory: 100
Healing Expertise: 0
As one can expect, the slaughtering of named NPCs or RPCs will skyrocket the effectiveness of this Property. Thread NPCs or RPCs that have been killed via the effects of Scorn will also emerge from the girl's Quincy Cross, fighting for her with any option she'd seen them use in life. If an option hadn't been witnessed by Sieglinde, the summoned entity is unable to use said ability. Regardless of their Class, these individuals will be similarly set to the same Class as her Vollständig, but will maintain the same Stats, Skills, and Rank they had in life. Final Stage Releases cannot be used by Thread NPCs, but can be used by killed RPCs, and all stages of Release function at their normal Class. RPCs remain rather special, however; despite Souls being stored on a thread-to-thread basis, the Souls of Scorn-slaughtered RPCs that have met their demise in a DE Thread will persist. When an RPC is murdered in a DE Thread, Sieglinde will enter her Vollständig from thereon out with a bonus Soul, and will be able to call on said RPC during that time. While excruciatingly rare, getting kills like this will make Sieglinde more difficult to deal with the more she fights.

Description: After having been branded as the Scorned, Sieglinde has since been given a new name, and alongside it a curse from His Majesty himself. After having failed him not once, but on multiple occasions, Sieglinde - while left alive and with her rank - has had her life effectively turned into that of a living hell. She has been stripped of one of the largest things that makes the woman a Quincy; her ability to draw in reishi from the world around her. In order to power her extraordinarily expensive abilities - both in and out of release - she's learned quite quickly to resort to other means. Namely, breaking down her own body in order to harvest what she's capable of to fuel her spiritual capabilities.{General Information}
Given the body of all living things is populated with Reishi, Sieglinde is no different. As such, instead of having the ability to draw in Reiatsu through her Quincy Cross or Spirit Fragment, Sieglinde is required to siphon this reishi from herself if she needs more. The rate at which this occurs is based off of a percentage system; each body part of hers counts as a "percentage" of reishi that she can draw from; what this means will be explained below in the Class-Scaling spoiler. A finger or toe composes 1% of Sieglinde's body. An entire hand or foot, including the aforementioned fingers and toes accounts for 5%. An entire limb, including the aforementioned hands or feet accounts for 15%. Sieglinde's torso accounts for 30%, and her head accounts for 10%. On top of this, any reishi-siphoning she can do from her body will be further-reduced based on the number of active properties she has active, much like a Quincy would otherwise deal with. Anything that would cut her regen will similarly cut her siphoning capabilities.{Class-Scaling}
Class 8: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 8 points of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 800 Reiatsu in reserves. When a body part is siphoned from, it will result in a damaged state, making it incredibly painful for the girl to actually move, requiring 2 points split amongst Strength of Will, Pain Tolerance, or Damage Recovery in order to still be able to move through the immense pain. This pain will last for an amount of posts as detailed in the Rank-Scaling spoiler, after which said limb can be siphoned from once more.
Class 7: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 7 points of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 700 Reiatsu in reserves. When a body part is siphoned from, it will result in a damaged state, making it incredibly painful for the girl to actually move, requiring 3 points split amongst Strength of Will, Pain Tolerance, or Damage Recovery in order to still be able to move through the immense pain. This pain will last for an amount of posts as detailed in the Rank-Scaling spoiler, after which said limb can be siphoned from once more.
Class 6: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 6 points of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 600 Reiatsu in reserves.
Class 5: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 5 points of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 500 Reiatsu in reserves. When a body part is siphoned from, it will result in a damaged state, making it incredibly painful for the girl to actually move, requiring 4 points split amongst Strength of Will, Pain Tolerance, or Damage Recovery in order to still be able to move through the immense pain. This pain will last for an amount of posts as detailed in the Rank-Scaling spoiler, after which said limb can be siphoned from once more.
Class 4: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 4 points of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 400 Reiatsu in reserves.
Class 3: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 3 points of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 300 Reiatsu in reserves. When a body part is siphoned from, it will result in a damaged state, making it incredibly painful for the girl to actually move, requiring 5 points split amongst Strength of Will, Pain Tolerance, or Damage Recovery in order to still be able to move through the immense pain. This pain will last for an amount of posts as detailed in the Rank-Scaling spoiler, after which said limb can be siphoned from once more.
Class 2: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 2 points of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 200 Reiatsu in reserves.
Class 1: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in 1 point of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 100 Reiatsu in reserves. When a body part is siphoned from, it will result in a damaged state, making it incredibly painful for the girl to actually move, requiring 6 points split amongst Strength of Will, Pain Tolerance, or Damage Recovery in order to still be able to move through the immense pain. This pain will last for an amount of posts as detailed in the Rank-Scaling spoiler, after which said limb can be siphoned from once more.
Class 0: Every 1% of Sieglinde's body that she siphons from will result in a half-point of Reiatsu that she is able to make use of. Because of this, her body holds no more than 50 Reiatsu in reserves. When a body part is siphoned from, it will result in a damaged state, making it incredibly painful for the girl to actually move, requiring 7 points split amongst Strength of Will, Pain Tolerance, or Damage Recovery in order to still be able to move through the immense pain. This pain will last for an amount of posts as detailed in the Rank-Scaling spoiler, after which said limb can be siphoned from once more.{Rank-Scaling}
Rank 1: At Rank 1, Sieglinde's body is required to undergo a one-post cooldown before she can siphon from it again, and the aforementioned pain will only last for a single post. After that point, provided she can continue to deal with the pain, Sieglinde can continue to siphon reishi from herself. Parts of the girl's body that are siphoned from will darken rather significantly, as though frostbite had taken over the afflicted areas. She is only able to siphon from the same part a total of six times before that part is rendered completely useless, even with the requisite Skills.
Rank 2: At Rank 2, Sieglinde's body is required to undergo a two-post cooldown before she can siphon from it again, and the aforementioned pain will last for two posts. After that point, provided she can continue to deal with the pain, Sieglinde can continue to siphon reishi from herself. Parts of the girl's body that are siphoned from will darken rather significantly, as though frostbite had taken over the afflicted areas. She is only able to siphon from the same part a total of five times before that part is rendered completely useless, even with the requisite Skills.
Rank 3: At Rank 3, Sieglinde's body is required to undergo a three-post cooldown before she can siphon from it again, and the aforementioned pain will last for a three posts. After that point, provided she can continue to deal with the pain, Sieglinde can continue to siphon reishi from herself. Parts of the girl's body that are siphoned from will darken rather significantly, as though frostbite had taken over the afflicted areas. She is only able to siphon from the same part a total of four times before that part is rendered completely useless, even with the requisite Skills.
Rank 4: At Rank 4, Sieglinde's body is required to undergo a four-post cooldown before she can siphon from it again, and the aforementioned pain will last for four posts. After that point, provided she can continue to deal with the pain, Sieglinde can continue to siphon reishi from herself. Parts of the girl's body that are siphoned from will darken rather significantly, as though frostbite had taken over the afflicted areas. She is only able to siphon from the same part a total of two times before that part is rendered completely useless, even with the requisite Skills.

Birthplace: Nuremberg, Germany
Current Residence: Silbern
Memorable Figures: Magnus Krantz, Amalia Vollbrecht
History:{CHAPTER Ⅰ}
Priscilla Ilyse Holler was born on July 25th, 1551 in Nuremberg, Germany as an only child. Her parents, Viktor & Natali Holler, both started off as free Quincy, meeting in the line of duty, and eventually settling down to start a family. They eventually decided to have a single child, that child being Sieglinde. Sieglinde was born into a life of relative poverty, having nothing more than a roof over her head, food every day, and a few pairs of clothes. It was far from an ideal lifestyle, but her family made it work. After all, that much was essential, else they'd eventually be swept away with nothing left.
At the age of 8, Sieglinde was far from an average child. She took a serious interest in her parents' abilities, specifically their Quincy heritage. Every time she had asked about this, she was immediately shut down without significant justification. She continued to ask about this, over and over, eventually learning about an apparent tradition within Germany at the time; while sons were trained from the young age of 5 to be a Quincy and use their powers correctly, daughters were not trained until the age of 18. Frustrated with this, Sieglinde continued to pester her parents with this until they decided to change their minds. This did not happen, and she was eventually forbid from asking about it again. If she did, then even at the age of 18, she would not learn what her parents knew.
A few months passed, and Sieglinde grew accustomed to waking up earlier, as to see her parents return in the morning from the late nights they had spent working to rid Nuremberg of hollows entirely. She remained utterly fascinated with her parents and their capabilities, though continued to keep this a secret. She feared that if she was caught, she'd lose the opportunity to become a Quincy. Eventually, that day came. She was seen through the windows of her house by her parents, and quickly did what she could to hide. This, however, was proven unsuccessful, as her father began to shout at her. That day, her father declared that he wouldn't be the one to teach her how to utilize her abilities, and that if her mother did, he'd leave the two of them. A strong dislike within Sieglinde began to grow towards her father.{CHAPTER Ⅱ}
A year later, three months before Sieglinde's 10th birthday, on April 14th, 1561, an event that would change the course of her future from this age occurred. She continued to wake up early every morning like before, though instead of observing her parents, she began to improve herself physically. Every morning, she'd do 10 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, and run outside for 10 minutes straight. While not seeming like much, for a nine-year-old of her stature, this was fairly rigorous for her. On that fateful morning of April 14th, Sieglinde noticed something fairly odd with the sky; there was some kind of battle going on! As she looked around, she could see certain neighbors picking up on this as well, but not everybody had seen what was going on. She continued to observe the sky, as various blurs moving through the sky were growing sporadic.
Looking back to her house, Sieglinde quickly began to hesitate. She wanted to see what was going on, but was that the best option? Surely her parents would realize where she was, and then she'd probably be forbidden from leaving her home to begin with! No, this wasn't something she could worry about. She felt like it was a duty of hers to investigate, despite being only nine-years-old. She began to sprint towards the center of town, where a few people had gathered. For something so extravagant, not many people were there. She was one of maybe ten others. She continued to glance into the sky, observing the apparent battle at hand.
After a few moments, she quickly realized one of the sides fighting were Quincy! Though they appeared as white blurs, the projectiles they continued to fire confirmed her suspicions. These individuals were certainly Quincy. As she grew more and more enamored with these Quincy, a group of not-so-pleasant men noticed her staring into the sky, completely unaware of her surroundings. They slowly made their way towards her, and eventually grabbed her. With a shriek, Sieglinde began to panic and thrash about. What had she done to deserve this? Were did these men come from? What were they going to do to her?
After screaming out quite a few times, one of the white blurs from the sky made their way down to the ground, and quickly put multiple arrows through the heads of each individual harassing the young Sieglinde. He turned to her, and smiled. "What's your name?" He asked. She hesitated for a moment, eventually answering the man. "Well, Sieglinde, stay here after this resolves," he said to her, "And I'll aid you back to your family. By the way, the name's Magnus Krantz, but you can call me Mag." While she had no idea why, this sentence stung. Perhaps it was because she didn't want to return to her family? She couldn't quite tell, but something about that statement made her sigh. She nodded, and he made his way back into the sky.
She began to think while the battle at hand started to slowly die down. What was that man's name? What was with those clothes he was wearing? Was it a uniform of some kind? It was far from anything that her parents had owned, so these Quincy definitely did not work with her parents. Perhaps they were a group of Quincy stationed here in Nuremberg that helped out around the city? There were way too many questions that needed to be answered. These questions would eventually be answered, but not without the battle overhead ending, first.{CHAPTER Ⅲ}
Upon the end of the conflict, the same Quincy that Sieglinde had met before, as well as someone new had made their way to the ground. The new woman made her way towards the crowd forming, watching the event that had just occurred. "You see?" She said with a smug grin. "Shinigami want nothing more than to exterminate all Quincy. Here you're vulnerable, but in the Silbern you'll be safe from the dangers of this world. The Silbern is a sanctuary for Quincy and is only accessible to the Vandenreich." As she finished speaking, more and more people began making their way towards her and the man standing near her. Magnus began to scan through the crowd, until eventually his vision settled upon the approaching child. "Good to see you again, Sieglinde," he said, "This is someone I'd like you to meet." As Magnus held his hand in the woman's direction, she was given the opportunity to introduce herself to the young girl.
Amalia inspected the girl carefully before approaching her. She knelt and gazed into her eyes. "It seems you and Magnus have developed quite the friendship." She reached out and touched her cheek. "You remind me of someone I knew many years ago. How would you like to come to Silbern?" Sieglinde tilted her head in confusion. "Silbern?" She asked, "I heard you say that earlier, but what's that?" "Oh, my dear. Living in the Human World has truly deprived you of the wonders of being a Quincy. The Silbern is the home of the Vandenreich and all Quincy. There resides the father of all Quincy, the Emperor. His love is so powerful that it keeps us safe from the outside world, from the Shinigami who wish you harm you."
Sieglinde stared at Amalia in awe. A place that is the home of all Quincy? Would she finally be able to learn how to use what powers she knew she had? "Please, take me with you!" Sieglinde said cheerfully, "I promise I'll be super duper useful!" All that Magnus could do in response was smile and laugh. "I wouldn't mind looking after her. She'll need a home, after all," Magnus responded, "Granted, that's alright with you, Captain?" Amalia smiled fondly at Sieglinde. "You are welcome as long as you agree to become an official member of the Vandenreich." She glanced at Magnus. "Yes, you do that. Be certain to keep me apprised on our newest sister." From this, Sieglinde began to nod excitedly. She was more than happy to become a member of the Vandenreich! A new home away from her parents who refused to teach her anything, and a place to make new friends as well? Not agreeing to this would have easily been the worst choice Sieglinde could ever make.{CHAPTER Ⅳ}
From that moment on, Sieglinde began to learn how to be a Quincy. With that, came constant, rigorous training. She began her new life alongside Magnus, who eventually became Sieglinde's adoptive father. From that point on, he began to look after her, making sure she was training at an intensity appropriate to her capabilities, making sure she was eating enough, and treating her like a daughter. As time went on, she began to develop her abilities, learn how to form a bow, as well as receive a formal education. The Silbern had literally everything she could ever ask for. Since the day she arrived, Sieglinde never looked back to the past, and quickly managed to forget about her old life in Nuremberg. Quite a years eventually passed, and eventually Sieglinde was older, and much more mature, while still retaining her childlike charm.
As promised, Magnus continued to keep tabs on Sieglinde's process, and updated Amalia weekly on how her progress went. As she began to learn the ways of fighting as a Quincy, Sieglinde quickly developed a liking towards the various techniques that she had gained access to. These were eventually listed out, and once again given to Amalia. Any time something significant happened with Sieglinde's progress, the Captain was updated. This process went on for a fairly long time, until she eventually surpassed Magnus' skill. She then began to train on with him out in the Human World from time to time, getting used to various terrains around the world. Eventually, about thirteen years after their initial meeting, Sieglinde's second day of reckoning had arrived.
"Alright, now focus your shot on the targets! Aim for the center, try to get closer to the center this time!" Magnus said, throwing a disc up into the air. The disc was marked like that of a bullseye, and fell at a fairly fast speed. Sieglinde formed her bow, and let loose a single arrow, piercing the bullseye and sending it a fair foot or so backward. Upon examination, the arrow hadn't quite hit the center, but was relatively close, resting about an inch away. "Great!" Magnus shouted, smiling towards his daughter, "You're making great progress! Just a bit more and you'll be in the center!" Their practicing went on for a few more moments, before being interrupted by the arrival of unwanted visitors.{CHAPTER Ⅴ}
Behind Magnus stood a group of three Shinigami, each approaching quickly. Their existence became quickly apparent to Sieglinde. "Father, behind you!" She shouted, a hint of fear in her voice. Almost immediately, Magnus turned around, quickly prepped his bow, and jumped back. He began to fire his arrows at an incredibly heightened pace, as to throw them off-guard. Now tasked with both the goal of defending his daughter, as well as fighting off these Shinigami, he turned his head to talk to Sieglinde, without actually taking his view off of the Shinigami. Directing her focus towards the men before them, Sieglinde realized that one of her father's arrows had actually managed to pierce one of the shinigami in the neck, quickly subduing him.
Two more were left. "Stay back, Cilla," Magnus said, "I'm not about to lose you!" Sieglinde didn't take this easily. She stood next to him "Not happening, father! I'm fighting alongside you!" He sighed, and turned to face the shinigami before them. They both lined their bows up on the remaining two shinigami as quickly as possible, but were quickly overwhelmed from their use of Shunpo. One had went to attack Magnus, the other his daughter. Both of them managed to get away with relative ease, though not without taking a small hit each. Magnus' was left with a gash on his left leg, Sieglinde with a small cut on her right wrist. This cut would later scar, leaving her with a faded reminder of this horrid day.
Escaping to his left, Magnus unleashed a flurry of arrows upon the Shinigami that tried to strike him down, though unsuccessful due to the use of a simple backstep. Sieglinde followed in suit, but also managed to miss her attacks. The enemies before them took advantage of this, and begun to make a counterattack on each of their targets. The man aiming for Sieglinde managed to miss, but the man aiming for Magnus managed to land another relatively deep gash in his torso. Upon making his way back, he gripped his side rather tightly, and opened up his coat. On his left rested Steele Schneide hilts, neatly organized. He grabbed one of them, and it quickly began to glow with a light blue aura around it. The weapon had been primed, and was ready to be wielded.
Magnus began to unleash a flurry of well-timed sword swings onto the shinigami he had been fighting, keeping him at bay, while Sieglinde's main focus had been avoiding the one after her. At the time, she had no way to actually engage him in melee combat, and, as such, she suffered greatly from the difference in their effective ranges and speed. As she continued to dodge, the shinigami she had been fighting eventually lost interest, and switched his sights toward Magnus. Unable to take on both of them at the same time, Magnus quickly sped up his offensive fighting, pushing himself to his possible limits in order to take down at least one of them as quickly as he could.
In doing so, he did manage to eventually land a single, solid hit against the one he had been fighting. As he continued to fight the Shinigami, his Steele Schneide began to grow in power, until eventually cleaving through the Shinigami's center with ease. Upon routing the first Shinigami, Sieglinde watched in horror as the same fate was met by Magnus. While he had been focused on taking one down, he hadn't been paying attention to the other's attempts on his own life. "Father!" Sieglinde wailed, quickly making her way towards the bloodshed that was breaking out. In a last attempt to act before his life was forfeit, Magnus threw the charged Schneide towards his daughter, who quickly scooped it from the air. She rushed in towards the shinigami, delivering a series of constant, aggressive, revenge-driven blows. He continued to try to block these hits, until one eventually hit.
Once the first swing had made contact, it was a series of one after another, constantly slashing at the shinigami's sickeningly lifeless body, eviscerating it with the reiatsu arrow until relatively nothing remained. Upon finishing her onslaught, she slammed the blade of the Schneide into the ground, letting it stand tall. She quickly rushed over to Magnus' body, but quickly realized she was too late. He had lost his life a few moments ago, his last sight being the adoptive daughter whom he loved earnestly fighting to avenge his approaching death. When she realized that he was not going to be waking up, Sieglinde began to tear up. She stood over her father, holding his body for a few moments, and crying into his chest. Why did this happen? How did this happen? Where they really not careful enough as to mask their reiatsu signature before entering the Human World? These would be questions that she'd ponder later on. Until then, she continued to mourn, and eventually worked up the will to bring her father back to the Silbern.{CHAPTER Ⅵ}
Upon arriving, she slowly began to make her way towards the last person that had any significance in her life; Amalia. Perhaps she'd know what to do now? Perhaps she'd have a way to fix this? Perhaps she'd have a way to make them pay? As she approached the woman who had gotten her to where she was now, she fell to her knees, gently placing her father's body in front of her. She couldn't even bring herself to lift her eyesight from Magnus. "C-Captain..." Sieglinde sobbed, trying to bring herself to continue to speak, but not able to do so. There were so many thoughts running through her head right now, Sieglinde needed some form of an outlet to prevent herself from breaking down even further. Perhaps the woman who had been kind to her all these years would be able to help?
As Sieglinde made her way into Amalia's chambers, she was busy going through one of her jewelry boxes, holding up a necklace and examining it. She was facing away from the saddened Quincy as she entered. Upon hearing her enter, Amalia smirked deviously. She cleared her expression, and took on a more concerned look. What happened?!" She said. Sieglinde kept her head down, with her hands curling into tight fists. "We were ambushed. He tried to protect me, and look where that got him." Upon finishing her statement, Sieglinde wiped her eyes, trying to stop herself from crying. She did what she could to calm herself down.
What would've happened if she had been stronger? Would she have been able to save him? What if she had actually fought her fight, instead of avoiding combat? Then what? Could she have actually beaten her opponents without the death of someone she held so close? She stood up, picking up her father's body. "My sincerest apologies that this happened. I've learned from my mistakes. I won't let this happen again. You have my word on that." Sieglinde stood up straight, and turned away from Amalia, making her way out of her chambers.
300 years came and flew by like the blink of an eye. In that time, Sieglinde began to master her capabilities as a Quincy, as well as learning new ways to accentuate her capabilities. To honor her father, Sieglinde began learning how to use and perfect her capabilities with a Steele Schneide, her father's weapon of choice, next to his bow, of course. Eventually, she unlocked the ability to use her bow to its maximum potential. She began to take constant missions, doing everything she could to both aid her new family within the Holy Empire, as well as working to improve her fighting prowess. As time went on, and she began to receive promotions, she eventually made her way up to the position of Captain. In time, she grew closer to Amalia in rank with each and every passing day.{CHAPTER Ⅶ}
Eventually, she grew to adore her time within the Vandenreich. She spent every moment she could interacting with new recruits, taking up missions in order to further her standing with the Emperor, and continue down the path of becoming a powerful and successful Quincy. With time, she eventually began to command the respect of those beneath her, though never through any sort of violence or demand of power, but through compassion, mutual respect, and an inhuman drive to better the will of the Holy Empire.
Though, everything had changed one day while coming back from a particularly difficult mission. The moment she had returned home to spread good news about the results for congratulatory praise from her best friend and mentor, she realized she couldn't find Amalia anywhere. She searched and searched, and was absolutely nowhere to be found. Eventually, she decided to check her friend's quarters one final time, and there she had seen the atrocity; Amalia had been murdered.
Finding her friend like this absolutely crushed Sieglinde. She was utterly devastated to see her best friend never be able to move again. To never be able to share enjoyable moments with again. This hit her harder than it would've hit someone normally; she viewed Amalia as a mother figure of sorts. Something like this wasn't something she could just rebound from and be fine the next day, she took her time to mourn, and to recover. Eventually, she managed to bring herself to a point where she could stop grieving.
In time, she began to accept the fact that she truly was dead. It took quite a bit of effort to do so, but it did indeed eventually happen. With that said, her friend has been permanently memorialized within her mind, and will always hold a much higher place than most any individual ever could, almost to an unhealthy amount. She'd also been left with two new goals; to discover whomever it was that caused the atrocities that day, and forever make them repent under the weight of their own sins, as well as to advance to a position of Amalia's standing, where she could forever continue the legacy she left behind as one of the greatest Quincies to have ever lived.
