Raph nodded. “That definitely makes sense. Greater than average strength over days is most definitely a good way to measure it. But yeah, I can see what you mean… Usually I run into hollows while heading towards screams…” He wasn’t going to say that he was perfect, or specifically intelligent, heading towards screams and all, but at the very least he was smart while fighting. He stretched a bit. “It almost sounds more like police work, ya know? Hear about an event, come running?”
As she confirmed he could definitely call it that, Raph smiled wryly. It was funny where one could find someone that they could at least understand a little bit. When she confirmed that she’d met Luca as well and that he was actually a teenager, he couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. “Yeah. He does need a bit of patience, sometimes. He just needs to get over some of the early aspects of being a teen, ya know? Once he becomes more confident in being himself, I have a feeling that he’ll be a lot better and a little bit quieter and less trying to impress people.”
Quickly, Raphael plugged his computer into her old one, booting it up and launching the virtual machine on his own computer. He frowned the moment that it loaded up on his end. While she talked, he listened to her, nodding a bit, while he began going through he computer files. It was bad. A lot of the updates, of course, hadn’t been installed, and that was keeping some things from working completely. But that wasn’t the reason for the blue screen. Small boot up issue was keeping it from working right.
“Well, I’m gonna have to work through this and rebuild this part a bit…” He looked up at her. “Really? They’d glare at you because you liked it a different temperature?” He shook his head, turning back to his own computer. “That’s dumb.”
Raphael nodded a bit more as she began to talk about why she still had her old computer. “I get that. I know that a lot of people really don’t like change, and things like that. That’s why I use my own personal OS, at least on this computer.” He pointed at the laptop in front of him. “I preferred doing that as to use one of the normal OS’s… Customize the application layout as well as put custom apps on it, as well.”
Stopping, he looked back at her for a few seconds and turned back to his laptop, shaking his head. “I’m not, I’m afraid. Chicago from the US.” He chuckles. “Gaijin, if you will. What about you?”
